If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
No,
no
fred!
So,
as
we
spoke
to
you
in
the
last
meeting,
we
handed
out
to
you
a
proposed
budget
for
fy
17.
This
is
we're
just
we've
wrapped
up
our
first,
almost
full
year
of
operation
of
the
civic
center,
complex
included
in
your
materials,
are
a
year-to-date
where
we're
at
as
of
june
15th
and
we're
running
all
in
all
pretty
well.
We
had
a
guestimated
budget
at
the
start
of
this
process.
We're
running
really
close
and
that's
even
if
you
consider
we've
spent
100
in.
B
Yeah
we
had
a
lot
of
work
to
do
on
the
on
the
facility.
Obviously
we
had
to
redo
all
the
plumbing
and
electric
in
the
locker
rooms
we
had
to
replace
the
chiller
on
the
ice
rink
we
had
to
replace
the
zamboni
and
in
the
field
house
as
well,
there's
a
lot
of
plumbing
and
electrical
work
that
had
to
be
done,
but
with
all
that
said
and
well,
over
150
thousand
dollars
spent
right
now
year
to
date
we're
at
about
88
000
in
the
red
with
those
capital
expenses.
B
B
We
feel
that
we'll
easily
be
able
to
eliminate
that
deficit
over
the
next
two
years
and
be
operating
well
into
the
black
based
upon
our
first
year
of
operations
and
again
our
first
year
of
operations
was
not
optimal.
We
didn't
have
not
have
the
opportunity
to
schedule
the
way
that
we
have
this
year
for
next
year.
So
as
an
example,
the
ice
rink
is
completely
booked
out
from
september.
B
Through
the
end
of
march.
All
the
prime
slots
are
taken
and
we're
at
about
100,
and
then
the
field
house
as
well
is,
is
booked
for
that
same
period.
So
we've
had
a
lot
of
interest
now
that
we've
taken
it
over
and
have
begun
managing
it.
So
we
feel
that
the
estimates
for
revenues
are
very
conservative
and
that
we
will
exceed
these
and
we've
also
included
in
terms
of
the
personnel,
a
manager
and
marketing
person
that
we
spoke
about
at
the
last
meeting.
B
So
that's
that's
gonna,
be
incentive,
driven
and
and
we're
still
looking
at
the
percentage,
probably
going
to
be
somewhere
in
the
order
of
five
to
ten
percent,
depending
on
we're.
Looking
at
what
other
groups
do
with
similar
positions,
it's
generally
in
that
range,
we'll
bring
it
back
to
you
before
we
decide
on
anything
on
that.
But
the
idea
is
to
get
someone
with
marketing
experience
and
you
know,
go
out
and
bring
that
person
on
board
as
soon
as
possible
so
that
we
have
them
for
the
for
the
season.
B
A
B
Correct
so,
but
and
so
what
we're
gonna
so
what
we
did
is
we
allocated
a
portion
of
the
of
the
assistant
director's
position
to
to
that
oversight
and
whether
that's
dave
or
the
assistant,
it
just
provides
some
funding
back
to
to
serve
in
that
role,
because
this
is
an
enterprise
fund.
B
So,
ultimately,
too,
once
we
get
them
operating
fully
in
the
black
and
we
pay
back
the
capital
expenses
that
have
been
spent
to
date,
we'll
likely
also
be
charging
the
civic
center
for
the
role
the
finance
department
plays,
or
my
role
and
so
similar
to
what
we
do
now,
with
with
wastewater.
A
B
B
So
that's
why
it's
a
limited
role,
but
we
just
wanted
some
accountability
there
and
that
allows
the
manager
marketing
person
will
really
be
focused
on
the
economic
management
of
the
facility
to
really
step
up
our
game
with
respect
to
advertising
getting
getting
people
to
sponsor
sponsored
events
sponsor
you
know
the
zamboni
sponsor.
B
You
know
all
those
types
of
things,
so
there's
there's
a
real
opportunity
there
for
us
that
we're
not
utilizing
right
now
and
we
believe
you
know
we
put
a
very
conservative
number
that
we
think
will
be
able
to
generate
for
the
first
year.
We
said
15.,
I
think
you
know.
Realistically,
we
should
see
that
number.
You
know
40
to
50
thousand
dollars,
but
again
we
haven't
done
this
yet
so
we
wanted
to
put
a
very
conservative
number
in
there.
D
What
is
the
the
pension
cost?
Twenty
eight
hundred
dollars?
Why
is
that
so
much
for
the
the
marketing
executive,
because.
B
That
will
be
a
non-union
position
and
in
all
of
our
non-union
positions
right
now
we
provide
icma
match
to
seven
percent,
so
we
just
built
in
that
seven
percent
match
as
a
max,
but
that's
something
that
can
be
discussed
with
the
council
in
terms
of.
D
D
Yeah
we're
giving
healthcare,
I
mean
also
what
about
the
sprinkler
system
cost
on
that.
B
B
D
Mean
I
think
it's
great
that
we're
breaking
even
I
don't
believe
the
talent
should
be
in
the
ice
business
personally,
but
you
know
prove
me
wrong.
I
mean,
let's
you
start
making
some
real
money
if
you
break
even
to
me,
what's
the
point
of
maintaining.
C
Carpentry
softball
does
come
up
along,
but
they
do
play
west
warwick
all
the
time.
C
The
track,
the
school
facility
youth,
the
school,
uses
it
after
school
for
indoor
track
when
it
rains
they
do
indoor,
basketball
and
stuff
like
that.
D
D
B
A
B
D
I
had
not
recommended.
I
insisted
that
we
do
this
when
we
decided
that
we
were
going
to
go
in
this
direction,
all
right,
we've
taken
it
back,
we're
going
to
try
to
run
it
ourselves
again.
I
just
want
to
know
who
we're
running
it
for
right.
If
we're
breaking
even
you
know,
we've
already
spent
now
now,
we've
you
know,
we've
brought
it
up
to
where
it
should
should
be
right.
Of
course,
you
know,
there's
still
maintenance
and
the
zambonis
are
going
to
wear
out.
You're
gonna
have
to
invest
again
and
we've.
D
B
A
D
D
We
were
at,
we
were
when
we
when
we
leased
it
out,
we
were
at
thirty
five
thousand
000
and
we're
going.
We
were
going
up.
The
the
idea
of
getting
a
marketing
person
is
not
new.
No,
we
weren't.
That
was
the
plan.
We
discussed
it
yeah
yeah,
and
that
was
a
plan
13
years
ago
to
do
that,
and
I
think
we
even
started
I'm
not
sure,
but
it
didn't
go
very
far.
No,
I'm
I'm
impressed.
D
I
think
this
is
the
way
you
know
everybody
wants
to
go,
but
I
don't
philosophically
I
don't
believe
the
town
should
be
in
the
ice
business.
I
think
we've
got
enough
problems
enough
issues
that
we're
trying
to
dig
ourselves
out
of
other
things
that
we
could
be
paying
attention
to.
You
know
now:
we've
got
you
know
three
more
people
on
the
pension.
What
is
it
if
we
were?
If
we
were
to?
We
could
lay
those
people
off
if
we
were
to.
We.
D
B
B
B
A
D
D
D
A
B
Well,
there's
not
much,
I
mean
the
roof
was
the
big
one,
the
plumbing
that
we
had
to
do
and
the
electrical
the
water
heater
that
that
was
all
done
as
part
of
the
work
that
we
did.
That's
the
thing
the
floor.
B
D
D
E
The
marketing
person
is
trying
to
generate
revenue,
but
I
think
it
would
also
be
important
if
they
allocated
some
of
their
time
towards
a
community
involvement,
absolutely
public,
skating
or
free
ice
lessons.
Something
like
that,
so
that
we
can
kind
of
involve
the
community
and
say
you
know
this
is
our
ice
rink.
We.
B
Have
public
skating
right
now?
We
also
have
free
lessons
that
some
of
the
leagues
have
offered
up
the
local
leagues.
We
talked
about
that.
We
brought
back,
they
offer
up,
learn
to
skate
on
saturdays
and
all
the
kids
have
to
pay
for.
E
Their
skates-
and
I
think,
that's
like
a
big,
that's
a
big
thing-
that
a
marketing
person
would
know
exactly
how
to
run
a
facebook
campaign.
You
have
something
to
get
people
in
the
west
work
and
actually
come
here,
because
the
vision
for
that
is
second
to
river
point.
I
see
it
as
you're
gonna
have
the
field
house
which
is
now
renovated
with
the
solar
panels
in
the
new
roof
and
you're
gonna
have
the
ice,
rink
and
you're
gonna
have
the
orchard
and
the
playground
out
front,
and
it's
going
to
be
second
to
river
point
park.
E
E
C
C
D
A
D
C
C
D
C
A
D
Where
are
we,
though,
leo
constantinos,
and
that's
when
he
wanted
to
put
a
splash
puck
in
right,
crompton
right
now,
anyway,
good
job
and
let's
get
the
stats
and
follow
it?
And.
D
D
B
What
are
the
one
of
the
things
we
want
to
do?
You
know
this?
Is
this
the
workshop
piece
we'll
at
our
next
council
meeting
we'll
have
a
public
hearing
for
this
budget
next
year,
when
we
do
this,
we'll
do
it
in
tandem
with
the
wastewater
budget
because
of
both
enterprise
funds?
B
We'll
do
them
back
to
back,
but
this
is
the
first
year
with
this
with
this
enterprise
fund,
so
we're
rolling
it
out
post-budget
process
here,
but-
and
I
guess
one
one
of
the
things
I
want
to
come
out
in
addition
to
voting
on
this
after
the
public
hearing
this
budget.
B
I
would
like
the
council
to
basically
give
us
direction,
because
right
now
the
two
positions
that
are
union
positions
up
there
are
temporary
positions
and
those
are
causing
two
other
positions
within
the
town
to
be
temporary
positions
because
of
the
individuals
in
those
roles.
So
I'd
like
to
move
forward
making
these
permanent
positions
that
will
allow
me
to
fill
those
other
ones
at
permanent
level.
So
we
don't
have
this
process
of
temporary
positions
and.
C
I
I
don't
have
a
problem
with
them
being
a
permanent
position
because
we
are
taking
over
the
we
we
have
taken
over
the
facility
and
again,
if
we
ever
decide
to
if
once
these
two
like
once
a
fed,
finds
out
that
the
numbers
don't
mix
and
he
wants
to
bring
it
back
in
private
and
he
brings
say
he
wants
to
release
it
out
yeah,
we
just
have
to
go
through
those
things
all
over
again
and
sure,
because
that's
what
we
did
last
time
yep
you
know,
but
I
think
to
put
their
mind
at
ease
and
and
make
sure
that
you
know
make
things
easier
on
the
town
itself.
