A
C
I
don't
see
jay
on
councilwoman
williamson.
E
A
D
E
C
Seconded
councilman
messi
is
here
now
questions.
C
So
kristen
you
want
to
just
give
us.
I
know
it's
a
breakdown
of
the
budget,
but
you
want
to
give
us
a
numbers
breakdown.
As
far
as
relaying
this
to
the
general
public
average
cost.
F
So
the
the
budget,
the
tax
rate-
can
you
hear
me?
Okay,
yep?
Okay,
the
tax
rate
is
going
up
by
1.92
percent
to
put
it
in
cents
per
thousand
for
residential
that
would
be
43
cents
per
thousand
for
the
residential
rate.
The
levy
is
at
an
increase
of
1.58.

E
A
C
And
I'll
agree
with
that,
I
give
everybody
kudos
here:
kristen
all
department,
heads
ernie
council
we've
had
some
tough
decisions
to
make
this
year
and
you
know
where
we
started
three
point
percent
increase
and
we
got
it
down
to
one
point:
nine,
that's
you
know
fifty
percent
reduction
in
the
original
proposed
budget,
and
hopefully
we
can
get
through
the
year
with
no
major
hiccups,
as
far
as
you
know
we're
in
right
now,
as
as
far
as
covid19,
and
if
we
have
a
resurgence
you
know
we
might
be
re-looking
at
our
budgets
from
there
again.
C
This
is
a
budget
that
we're
putting
forward
to
the
taxpayers
to,
hopefully
they
and
I
think
it's
probably
the
best
budget
considering
the
school
has
not
come
to
us
for
money
in
the
last
five
years
and
they're
only
asking
for
800
000
at
this
point
and
out
of
that
one
point:
one
promise
I'm
gonna
round
up
to
1.1
million
or
1.2
million.
So
you
know
again.
E
I
would
agree
with
you
david,
I
think,
kudos
to
to
kristen
and
ernie
and
and
their
their
teams
for
for
getting
it
done
and
and
joe
spagna
and
karen
tarasevich
and
the
school
committee
for
for
working
hard
in
what's
been
a
very
difficult
and
still
there's
still
unknowns.
There's
no
doubt
about
that.
So
until
we
have
final
numbers
from
the
state.
E
D
C
Moving
second
norman's
taken
this
over,
I
know
when
john
bernardo
retired
norman
is
taking
on
this
role
for
us
and
we
told
him
we're
gonna
only
use
him
once
until
we
found
a
permanent
replacement,
but
little
did
he
know
he
became
the
permanent
replacement.
C
So
with
that
being
said,
I'll
take
a
roll
call
vote
councilman.
A
E
B
I
have
I
have
one
question
did:
do
we
have
the
date
for
that
for
that
meeting
and
also
a
date
for
the
vote.
B
F
I'm
just
going
to
say
it
the
scheduling
it
for
the
14th
of
july
and
the
16th
for
the
vote,
but
we
just
need
to
have
that
discussion
about
the
financial
town
meeting
based
on
ernie's
email
to
you.
C
Okay,
the
only
other
question
I
have
also-
and
it
it's
come
up.
Obviously,
are
we
looking
for
an
august
deadline
for
first
quarter
payments?
Is
that
what
we're
gonna
be
looking
at.
C
B
B
Any
other
questions
I
want
to
reiterate.
I
want
to
reiterate
thanking
thank
all
the
department,
heads
and
kristin
and
ernie
for
putting
all
that
all
that
hard
work,
because
I
mean
they
kind
of
went
through
it
twice
because
they
had
a
budget
set
for
us
and
then
kovit
came
through
so
and
the
school
department
as
well.
So
just
want
to
thank
everybody.
D
Oh
sorry,
okay!
Go
to
that
public
comment.
Comments
will
only
be
addressed
to
the
town
council
who
will
take
them
under
advisement
when
addressing
the
town
council.
Please
state
your
name
and
address.
Please
conduct
yourself
in
an
orderly
and
respectful
fashion.
The
comments
of
the
citizens
accessing
this
portion
of
our
meeting
are
neither
adopted
nor
endorsed
by
the
body
but
heard
as
requested.
G
We
were
in
the
last
meeting.
We
were
discussing
the
financial
tell
meeting
where
how
to
hold
it,
and
the
discussion
seemed
to
center
on
having
a
zoom
meeting
for
the
financial
town
meeting.
So
we
just
wanted
to
bring
that
back
forward
and
make
sure
that
that's
what
the
intent
of
the
council
is
because
at
the
conclusion
of
tonight's
meeting,
chris
is
going
to
finalize
the
ad
that
will
go
to
the
division
of
municipal
affairs
for
their
review
and
approval.
So
everything
is
going
to
be
on
a
time
frame.
G
E
D
Don't
believe
no
yeah
we
did
for
the
primary
we
had
to
the
referendum
doesn't
fall
under
election
chapter
17
guidelines,
although
we
do
follow
them
because
they're
election
guidelines,
but
we
can
pretty
much
pick
our
own
polling,
place
and
stuff
like
that,
whereas
at
primaries
we
have
to
have
it
all
approved
at
elections,
we
have
to
have
it
all
approved.
