Description
YUI Open RoundTable July 11, 2013
A
So
welcome
to
the
latest.
Why
am
I
open
round
table?
It
is
Thursday
July,
11
2013.
We
have
quite
a
number
people
to
do.
Some
demos
and
stuff
I've
got
some
cool
things
to
talk
about
so
I'm,
going
to
kick
things
off
with
starting
off
with
demos,
I
believe
that
would
be
the
best
thing
to
do
so
about
rich
ones.
I
prefer
papua
reflection.
We
go
first,
okay,
82.
B
So
what
I've
done
so
far
and
I've
demoed
in
previous
round
tables,
is
allow
the
connection
for
web
RTC
to
have
our
CC
clients
to
connect.
Very
simply,
this
is
a
little
bit
of
code
snippet
to
the
entire
demo
that
I'm
going
to
have
today.
I'll
explain
a
little
bit
I
guess
so
before
you
jump
into
that
like
sold
or
should
I
explain
web
RTC?
Well,
maybe
they
like.
Where
does
this
leave
us?
It's
going
to
be
a
guard
component?
Is
it
going
to
live
yeah.
B
Now
it's
headed
for
the
gallery
right
now
and
yeah
I
guess:
I'll
explain
what
participe
a
little
bit
nothing
right!
So
what
web
RTC
is
is
a
feature
in
some
browsers
that
allows
you
to
connect
to
clients
directly
to
each
other.
Instead
of
going
through
a
server
like
you
normally
would
so
you
can
have
peer-to-peer
connections
between
computers
drug-like
just
through
the
web
browser
right
now.
Only
chrome
and
firefox
support
this.
In
fact,
Firefox
just
three
in
the
latest
firefox
firefox,
23
I
believe
they
have
a
Park
Ski
support
and
they
just
out
of
that.
B
And
and
moved
up
to
their
staple
build,
but
chrome
also
supports
it.
So
that's
also
cool.
So
what
I've
been
doing
is
simplifying
the
process
of
creating
these
glow
RTC
applications
by
making
a
module
for
so
the
way
I
do
it
or
the
way
someone
would
do
it
if
they
used
my
module.
They
would
just
create
a
new
emergency
object
right
here.
They
would
set
the
local
video
stream
element,
which
is
fit
one
in
this,
and
you
can
see
the
element
down
here.
B
So
I'm
going
to
start
it
up
and
show
you
what
it
looks
like
before.
I
explain
the
rest
of
it.
I
think
that's
the
best
way
to
do
it
so
I'll
go
over
here
and
start
it
up
here
we
go
so
I
start
it
up.
That's
me
and
then
we
have
this
link
down
here.
That
I
was
talking
about,
so
we
can
click
that
link,
and
now
I
have
a
video
chat
with
myself.
This
includes
audio.
D
B
B
F
B
B
And
hopefully,
if
everything
goes
correctly,
it
will
connect.
So
now
I
have
a
three
way
chat
with
myself,
so
that
was
pretty
cool
and
had
some
interesting
challenges.
It's
still
a
little
flaky
once
you
get
above
that
could
be
because
I'm
doing
it
all
locally
and
have
like
a
ton
of
streams
going
on
right
now,
and
this
could
be
the
upper
or
one
of
the
upper
limits
that
I'm
reaching.
So
it
will
be
a
real
test
for
this
three
different
devices.
Well,
I
think
yeah
more.
B
B
B
And
I
just
need
to
figure
out
once
what's
going
on
there,
one
of
the
things
that
help
me
so
in
the
beginning,
when
I
was
trying
to
do
this
and
pure
thing,
I
had
an
upper
limit
of
like
to
just
one
one
on
one
and
then
once
I
got
23,
it
was
really
flaky
and
sometimes
it
didn't
work,
and
so
it's
a
lot
of
time
in
actually
I
just
fix
it
right
now.
B
B
The
reason
and
if
it
is,
then
it's
not
too
big
of
a
deal,
because
this
is
a
lot
of
connections
going
on
right
now
and
it
will
be
you'll
have
to
have
a
lot
of
people
to
reach
this
up
a
little
bit.
So
I'm
not
too
worried
about
that
right.
Now,
I'm
happy
with
the
performance.
That's
going
on
right
now.
B
B
So
yeah
so
yeah
that
was
pretty
interesting.
It
took
a
little
bit
to
get
it
all
working
and
to
figure
out
the
bug
that
I
was
just
subscribing.
It's
ending
up
in
actually
that
once,
but
it
works
pretty
well
one
of
the
other
things
that
I
did
since
the
last
round
table
was
added
the
ability
to
send
files
through
this
web
RTC
connection
and
I'll
do
a
little
demo
and.
E
A
B
You
don't
have
to
stream
your
order,
you're
a
thing,
but
if
you're
just
a
watcher,
you
need
to
have
all
the
street
coming
towards
you.
So
you
get
the
connection
still
yeah.
It
would
be
less
of
a
bandwidth
hog
if
you
did
that
eyes.
Okay,
so
yeah
so
I
have
these
three
connections
going
on
right
now:
I'll
just
open
up
a
random
file
that
I
have
school,
and
then
you
see
that
it
downloads
on
through
the
two
other
clients-
and
if
you
open
it
up,
you
can
see
the
file.
It's
like
my
class
schedule.
B
That's
not
even
though
yeah,
so
that's
pretty
cool
I
liked
a
lot
and
the
way
that
you
would
do
that
in
code
is
just
it's
pretty
much
one
line,
even
those
three,
some
less
things
to
see.
You
want
to
changes
but
send
the
actual
file
its
just
stream
nuts
and
file,
and
then
you
give
the
ID
of
the
file
input
and
then
it
does
the
rest
for
you.
It
sends
it
to
each
of
the
connections
that
are
in
the
group
and
then
it
downloads
it.
B
So
the
limitation
right
now
is,
as
you
probably
saw,
it,
doesn't
retain
the
name
of
the
file
that
can
be
solved
with
some
stuff
with
we
were
talking
about
before
links
and
manual
like
automatically
the
link,
it's
weird
and
out
on
the
light.
I
need
to
do
that,
but
I
do
so
so
yeah
I
need
to
fix
that
the
other
limitation
is
a
little
bit
bigger,
but
easier
and
less
happy
is
in
the
first
limitation.
Is
that
I
need
to
chunk
it
if
it's
a
large
file?
B
So
I
need
to
split
up
the
file
and
send
it
in
about
a
kilobyte.
I
think
is
the
size
that
limitation
is
so
kilobyte
chunks
across
the
network,
and
then
they
will
work.
Fine,
and
I
just
connect
like
combine
them
at
the
end
and
then
have
it
download
again,
and
that
should
work
perfectly
fine
and
that's.
B
A
B
B
Should
do
some
experimental
stuff
with
that
as
well,
but
I
will
probably
deal
with
that
more
when
I'm
chunking
I'll
probably
run
into
problems
with
the
unreliability
of
italy's
they've
even
unordered,
nature
of
it
yeah,
where
you
going
to
go
from
here,
see
what
the
limitations
are
see.
If
that
bug
is
true
see
if
that's
that
uses.
A
B
F
F
E
E
B
C
C
A
A
A
E
C
I'm
rashad
yeah.
They
in
turn
on
the
team
and
right
now,
I'm
working
on
a
layout
generator.
C
Dad
air
came
from
what
at
first
when
I
first
started
working
here
as
I
started,
working
on
pure,
which
was
launched
and
had
a
huge
success
and
I
was
decided
about
it
and
I'm
in
have
an
idea
of
creating
a
layout
generator
of
some
sort
in
the
past,
but
once
pure
was
introduced
and
there's
a
page
where
they
show
whether
our
example
layouts
of
what
you
can
do
appear
on
the
website,
I
decided
to
make
a
generator
where
you
can
manipulate
more
plates
in
the
sense,
and
it
still
has
support
for
pure.
C
So
as
you
create
your
layouts
with
simple
drag-and-drop
functionality
still
remains
responsive
with
the
pure
CSS
styling,
so
I
demo,
it
a
few
weeks
ago,
just
a
hack.
What
I
wanted
in
the
future
would
I,
so
I
can
have
something
to
aim
for,
but
now,
in
recent
weeks,
I
hatch
I
started
from
scratch
again
working.
You
know,
cleaning
up
my
code,
making
everything
you
know,
structure,
modular
and
and
now
show
a
short
demo
here
so
I
built
it
on
node.
Yes,
and
with
express
in
Yui,
of
course,
use
them
in
different.
Why
you
got
modules?
C
A
C
Be
is
by
how
many
how
many
nodes
have
of
the
pure
edit
class?
Yes,
yes
in
editable,
they.
A
C
I
haven't
added
a
functionality
it,
but
this
would
be
an
example
model
of
something
if
I
model
would
look
I
can
things
left
and
right
center
and
also
I
have
this
general
settings
view.
I
use
the
view
model
yui
and
that
made
working
on
this
project
a
lot
easier,
so
you
can
adjust
size
drop
the
entire
layout.
C
C
C
Drag
proxy
yes
and
there's
a
skim,
skim,
just
skim,
a
method
that
that
shows
how
I
would
react
once
I
drop
one
side
let
go
to
the
mouse
so,
like
I
said
using
Yui
had
had
a
lot
of
pre-made
modules.
That's
hard
in
the
library
made
this
project
a
lot
easier,
using
view
to
organize
the
entire
architecture,
the
project
and
also
drag
and
drop
with
skim
in
a
future
ones
that
I
probably
use
the
style
sheets.
So
I
can't
a
downloadable
button
after
you
finish
dialing
your
own
way
out.
C
You
can
download
the
Dean
and
any
creates
a
external
style
sheet
that
I
can
vid
inside
the
layout.
Rather
they
have
a
ton
of
just
in
line
in
line
styling
inline
styles
inside
of
the
HTML
down
itself,
so
I
want
to
keep
you
know
at
the
end
of
the
day,
I
want
to
keep
the
HTML
document
itself
clean
from
styling
like
anybody,
any
other
developer
would
do
and
also
you
can
notice.
You
can
change
positioning.
C
Like
that
and
all
still
maintain
a
responsibility
of
this
responsive,
yeah
steric
maintain
responsiveness
with
the
pier
with
the
pier
framework
with
the
pure
CSS
framework
and
that's
the
dinner
a
project
in
the
future.
I
want
to
have
drag
and
drop
images.
Inside
of
these,
you
said
you
went
to
add
a
column
of
what
components
to
address.
Oh.
C
I
want
I
was
going
to
create
a
new
model
later,
where
you
can
add
elements
like
columns
or
add,
add
images
for
tables
you
can
just
grab
and
drag
and
drop.
You
know
different
UI
elements
buttons
and
also
stylos
that
too
typically
people
with
not
I,
guess
think
of
themselves.
So
if
you
don't
have
a
design.
C
So
yeah
and
and
editing
text
as
well
a
simple
click
double-click.
You
should
be
able
to
edit
text
right
up
right
out
the
actual
life
HTML,
page
and
and
I
figured.
This
would
be
helpful
because
you
can
actually
see
how
your
site
will
look
in
the
browser
real
time
and
you
can
have
a
better
sense,
a
better
judgement
on
how
your
site
will
look
and
just
just
a
better
user
experience.
I
think,
rather
than
anything
that
was
already
out
there.
C
C
Ever
do
undo
undo.
Oh
no,
yes,
I
thought
of
that
wretched
because
sometimes
you
type
in
and
you
get
space
bar
or
something
back
to
that
and
all
your
text.
C
C
E
C
C
A
C
A
C
A
C
D
So
I
worked
on
learning
a
little
bit
more
personally
on
data
table
by
creating
a
document.
Documentation
example
for
the
library.
So
in
a
data
table
example
the
color
sorting
and
filtering
it
so
that
looks
like
this
and
I
got
the
data
for
this
data
table
from
the
w3c
about
a
hundred
and
fifty
colors,
and
the
data
really
consists
only
of
the
data
name
I'm,
sorry,
the
color
name
like
take
white
and
the
hex
value.
D
So
you
can
see
that
the
the
colors
are
really
random
looking
and
if
you
use
hex
to
sort
them,
it's
not
it's
a
little
better,
but
it's
not
a
lot
better
to
still
get
blues
mixed
in
with
greens
and
purples
with
reds
and
yellows
and
Red's
together.
So
I
decided
that
I
wanted
a
better
way
to
look
at
that.
So
I
used
this
huge
column
and
what
created
that
hume
column
was
with
a
getter
I've.
D
D
Together,
you
can
create
data
in
the
in
the
model
list
that
wasn't
in
the
original
data
table,
so
I
used
hex
value
and
used
our.
Why
color
module
to
create
a
six
digit
number
and
put
it
in
this
new
column
the
table
and
so
that
that
six
digit
number,
the
first
two
digits
in
this
case
of
the
hue,
which
is
red
and
the
second
two
digits-
is
the
saturation
and
the
last
two
ms
lightness
so
I'm,
creating
this
string
and
putting
it
in
the
data
model.
So
then,
you
can
sort
based
on
Hugh.
D
Color
form
of
an
algorithm,
a
function
that
I
created
that
generates
this
six
digit
number
from.
Why
colors?
So
it's
not
reset
it!
It
did
it
on
the
fly
years,
oh
yeah,
from
the
hex
value.
It
goes
and
calculates
out
what
the
hue/saturation
lightness
is
using
white
color
and
then
creates
that
six
digit
2
character
and
puts
it
in
the
data
the
model
list
of
the
data
table,
and
then
data
table
can
sort
on
it
just
like
it
would
as
any.
A
D
D
C
C
D
D
D
A
D
See
some
kind
of
thing
you
know:
I
tried
doing
things
the
hard
way
and
then
I
would
stumble
on
another
example
in
the
library
that
made
it
easy
and
I
would
go
back
and
use
that
and
make
that
make
the
thing
a
lot
of
use.
You
have
a
code
smaller.
So
is
this
going
to
be
out
in
next
release
or
I'm
going
to
plan
on
checking
it
into
live
Docs
which
will
then
get
merged
in
at
some
point,
whether
it
be
this
release
or
the
next
door?
What's
really.
A
A
To
talk
about
Derek,
did
you
have
some
things
you
want
to
mention?
I,
don't
know,
I
seems
like
you
know,
in
terms
of
like
why
weekly
kinds
of
things
there's
stuff
going
on
in
the
community
I
mean
why
you
want
yui
reactions.
Yeah.
E
F
A
So
yeah
we're
getting
a
bit
light-hearted
in
terms
of
like
we're
trying
out,
some
things
were
going
to
most
likely
be
moving
the
blog
over
to
tumblr
at
some
point,
the
future.
Once
we
get
all
the
issues
on
our
doubt
in
terms
of
the
users
and
stuff
like
that,
we're
still
working
on
kilos
working
on
an
awesome
theme
over
the
tumblr
blog
and
we're
working
out
things
like
how
we'll
deal
with
multiple
editors
and
discussion.
F
Else
that
I
can
think
of
we
have
a
release
coming
up
next.
Well,
the
release
window
opens
up.
I
believe
next
week
is
that
correct
for
this
3
link
after
this
11
current
I
think
the
releases
on
the
16th
career
development
schedule
looks
like
the
release
window
opens
up,
July
sixteenth,
so
yes,
next
to
fit
yeah,
so
we
might
have
3
11
tell
next
Tuesday
what.
C
A
Checking
in
all
kinds
of
stuff
for
tree
tree
view,
we
have
a
lot
of
just
a
huge
number
of
contributor
updates,
like
a
language
I
seen
some
fixes,
the
calendar
attribute,
there's
just
across
the
board
as
a
huge
number
of
just
fixes
and
changes
that
are
great
I.
Think
the
main
theme
for
this
relates
will
be
the
performance
improvements
faster,
faster,
faster
yeah.
E
F
Yeah
so
releases,
no,
no
I
think
that's
about
a.
A
A
Maybe
you
might
look
at
that
things
like
that,
so
the
main
reason
why
we
had
them
listed
there
is
either
the
person
who's
working
on
them
is
been
pulled
away
to
something
else
or
they
look
like
they're
good
candidates
for
some
who's.
Neither
why
why
I
can
come
in
and
tackle
some
of
that
stuff?
So
I,
could
you
check
those
out
in
terms
of
those
stale
pull
requests?
A
There
hasn't
been
a
lot
of
changes
for
that
since
we've
been
in
code
freeze
for
a
while,
so
I'm
actually
my
table
that
till
next
week,
Oh
basically
in
terms
of
status,
there
are
a
number
of
poor
requests
like
we
always
have
their
works
in
progress.
We
have
about
six
or
seven
that
are
kind
of
in
limbo
that
are
from
either.
C
A
Reviewer
needs
to
take
a
look
at
it
or
contributor
needs
to
update,
and
then
there
are
some
relatively
new
ones
like,
for
instance,
bet.
You've
got
a
couple.
Requests
that
probably
will
just
go
into
the
tree
opens
again
that,
like
you
own
this
also
tests
tests
for
data
source
tuck,
it
and
record
said
I.
Think
me
as
if,
in
a.
A
C
F
A
A
A
Works
in
progress,
one
so
that
it
can
just
be
not
considered,
but
if
you
have
a
pull
request,
if
you're
watching
this
and
you
feel
like
there's
not
been
any
activity
on
it
for
a
while.
Please
message
me
directly
or
email
me
or
send
me
an
IM
or
send
me
a
Twitter
message:
triptych:
muscle
trip
ticket,
gmail
com
for
free
to
message
me
and
I
will
get
someone
on
it.
So
there's
that
yeah,
I
don't
see
any
forward
bustle
song
to
me.
This
film.
E
F
C
A
I
think
the
UI,
that
is,
it
seems
a
little
bit
of
a
refresh
I
know
they've
been
going
to
that.
But
if
anyone
out
there
knows
how
to
have
a
filter
or
something
on
github,
that
will
only
show
issues
that
you
are
at
mentioned
in
I
would
love
to
know
that
meaning
one
of
the
five.
She
knows
this
basically
it'd
be
nice
to
know.
A
If,
when
you
get
notified
in
message
or
comment,
yes,
you
can
set
up
to
send
you
an
email
which
is
great
but
it'd
be
nice
if
there's
a
way
via
the
web,
that
you
could
view
this
and
I
know
when
I
go
to
notifications.
I
could
do
this,
but
if
you
have
a
lot
of
wash
treecko's
you're
going
to
get
a
lot
of
activity,
so
it
kind
of
gets
washed
out
so
also
just
to
end
things
out
with
a
call
for
anyone
who
wants
to
come
demo.
A
Anything
you
want
to
speak
about
something
if
you're
working
on
a
cool
gallery
component
or
anything
like
that,
feel
free
to
join
up
or
if
you
have
a
question
regarding
anything
about
Yui.
If
you
let
us
know
early
enough,
we
can
get
the
person
whose
potential
the
owner
of
that
code
to
come
in
and
answer
your
questions.
So
that's
it
for
me
anything
else
right
thanks!
Everybody
for
coming.
