From YouTube: YUI Open RoundTable June 13, 2013 (edited)
Description
I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor)
A
C
C
Off
to
a
good
start,
with
the
same,
so
it
was
yeah
while
he
was
doing
that
releases.
We
have
two
releases
that
came
out
over
the
last
over
the
last
week
so
to
Yui
releases
at
least
Yui
10
3.
Now
the
word
tenet
I
was
going
to
confuse
three
two
and
three
dot:
n
dot
3
so
3
night,
a
2
was
kind
of
the
big
release.
If
the
conclusion
of
our
last
sprint
cycle
that,
let's
see
what
went
into
that
just
a
lot
of
random
bug
fixes.
A
Yeah
a
lot
of
this
as
a
result,
we've
had
a
lot
of
like
big
features
landing
recently,
so
we
spent
some
time
going
back
through
and
doing
on
a
house
cleaning
that
kind
of
thing
so
working
on.
We
only
had
worked
on
things
to
build.
We
worked
on
checking
like,
for
instance,
except
en
did
some
fixes
for
event
right
button.
C
A
Also,
you.
C
Know
Tony,
can
you
send
T
Lily
you
out
I
would
be
awesome.
Just
pinging
the
URL
you're
out
right
now
to
the
Hangout
yeah
yeah.
It
was
a
ton
of
test
fixes,
basically
like
I
think
we
mentioned
a
few
weeks
ago.
We
are
now
on
boarding
a
lot
more
environments
in
to
see
I,
so
that
led
to
some
false
positives,
at
least
for
some
tests.
There
were
a
little
bit
flaky.
So
we
went
through
and
resolved
a
bunch
of
those
issues.
C
Then
3
19
23
was
just
a
you
should
actually
skip
10
dot
2
and
go
straight
to
attend
on
three
that
was
also
released.
Is
a
quick
follow-up
patch
to
resolve
a
security
bug
that
was
reintroduced
that
was
resolved
in
three
dot
10
dot.
What
so?
It
was
just
go
straight
to
tend
up
three
and
you
can
read
all
the
outfits
on
the
blood.
The
other
release
that
we
had
this
week
was
can.
E
C
D
So
Eric
and
I
launched
pure
or
released
pure
version
0.2,
which
is
the
the
first
release
we've
had
since
launch.
It's
been
two
weeks
so
we're
trying
to
stay
on
a
two-week
release
cycle,
but
that
might
fluctuate
a
bit
especially
now,
given
that
Eric
and
I
are
taking
some
time
off.
Pier
0.2
basically
addresses
some
concerns.
Just
some.
It
kind
of
just
fixes
up
and
cleans
up
stuff
that
wasn't
cleaned
up
prior
to
the
release
we
had.
D
We
got
a
lot
of
feedback
from
the
community
regarding
accessibility,
so
we
went
in
and
fixed
a
lot
of
the
accessibility
issues,
namely
adding
focus
rules
wherever
we
had
hover
rules
so
that
and
making
it
easy
of
fixing
some
keyboard
tabbing
issues
that
we
had.
In
addition
to
that
there
were
some
poll
requests
that
were
merged
in
from
a
bunch
of
people
in
the
community
to
fix
some
stuff
in
forms
and
buttons
Alden.
D
D
Specifically,
he
added
up
watch
task
to
grunt
so
that
you
can
watch
and
build
like
so
that
pure
bills,
while
you're
developing
he
added,
we
have
CSS
lint
tests
that
are
run
automatically
and
then
those
are
integrated
into
Travis
so
that
all
pull
request
our
CSS
Lynn
did
arm,
and
I
know
I'm
sure,
I'm
missing
something.
Oh,
we
also
added
a
contributing
md
so
that
it's
clear
like
what
the
contributing
guidelines
are.
D
There's
a
bunch
of
stuff
that
went
out
of
the
next
release
of
pier,
which
is
going
to
be
0.3,
probably
is
going
to
address
grids.
We're
gonna
leave,
probably
revamping
some
of
the
grid
system,
possibly
making
a
mobile-first
grid,
and
we
have
some
other
ideas,
but
we'll
talk
about
I,
don't
get
help.
Probably
you.
D
A
D
D
Think
it
took
like
four
days:
there's
a
I'm
sure.
Everyone
already
knows
this.
Where
there's
this
really
intense
discussion
going
on
on
a
pure
CSS
issue
about
preprocessors,
so
you
should
definitely
go
in
and
read
that
I
think
it's
pretty
interesting
and
entertaining,
and
it's
getting
pretty
heated
I
think
when
go
post
on
that
again
later
today,
where.
D
D
A
E
D
It's
been
really
good
to
see
some
of
that
stuff's.
There
I
saw
yeoman
generator.
Someone
made
some
gem
to
work
with
pure
and
Ruby
on
Rails,
there's
some
guy
who's
already
for
pure
and
is
trying
to
put
it
into
like
you
make
it
work
with
sass,
so
yeah
there's
a
bunch
of
cool
like
stuff
coming
up
coming
around
there's.
Actually
some
person
who
emailed
me
on
my
inbox
and
said:
oh
I,
want
to
make
a
wordpress
team
using
pure
up.
Do
you
pay
for
freelancing
and
I?
Didn't
know
what
to
say
so.
A
F
So
though,
Dan
tables
been
kind
of
in
a
hiatus
standpoint
for
a
while,
then
after
Luke
Smith
left
it
been
really
touched
and
then
I
started
fiddling
with
it.
I
guess
is
a
good
word
at
the
beginning
of
this
year,
and
I
decided
that
getting
paginator
out
would
be
the
best
thing
so
to
do
first,
so
paginator
ended
up
taking
a
life
of
it,
taking
on
a
life
of
its
own
on
then
that's
now
checked
into
dev
3x
and
should
be
out
in
our
next
in
3
11
0.
A
F
Yeah,
so
one
thing
the
paginator
does
is
that
it
it's
basically
an
abstracted
model
that
it
can
come.
It
can
be
mixed
into
a
model.
If
you
want
to
use
a
Model
View
structure,
it
can
be
mixed
into
a
widget,
but
it's
really
low
level
and
it
just
stores
the
current
page,
your
own
versus
the
number
of
pages
that
you
have
total
and
the
total
number
of
items
that
you
have.
F
Okay,
oh
so,
for
paginator,
we've
got
a
couple
of
different
images
that
are
just
getting
swapped
in
and
out.
This
is
one
of
the
examples
mm-hmm
and
it's
saying
that
the
test
to
fail
I've
got
to
change
that
color,
but
that
I
haven't
really
written
the
tests
for
the
examples.
I
have
no
problem
going
through
the
cutlet
browsers
and
doing
it
whenever
we
do
a
PR
and
doing
a
test
fest
on
just
paginator
and
then
so.
This
right
here
will
go
through.
F
So
this,
whenever
we
go
through
the
first
previous
next
and
last
on
the
top
line,
it
will
update
the
bottom
one
because
it's
using
one
model
together
and
then
so.
If
we
go
to
page
four
I
hit
updated
updates
there.
If
we
update
this,
then
we
can
see
that
it
updates
the
bottom
oh
cool
at
the
same
time,
and
then
we
can
toggle
it
on
and
off.
F
Yeah
currently,
whenever
about
two
months
ago,
we
sent
out
the
survey
link
and
are
the
survey
monkey
form
to
get
the
the
results
back
for
that,
and
that's
actually
that's
actually
being
reflected
over
here
in
the
data
table
roadmap
on
the
Trello
board.
So
currently
how
this
works
is
that
in
3x,
whenever
this
gets
or
once
paginator
is
done,
I'll
be
moving
that
over
there,
which
will
be
awesome.
Performance
improvements
are
always
ongoing.
F
F
This
is
the
order
that
thinks
we're
in
on
the
results
for
the
SurveyMonkey
link
right,
if
that
is,
if
there's
anything
in
here,
that
you
wish
to
change,
feel
free
to
come
in
and
upload
it
like
this
check
box,
select
column,
and
then
this
batch
render,
which
was
the
render
loop
and
Yui
too
I,
just
had
a
conversation
today
with
a
team,
and
they
said
that
was
a
big
feature
for
them,
and
so
it
was
a
big
feature
for
them.
Then
I
have
no
problem,
adding
something
to
get
that
working
in
Yui
3
right.
A
A
A
F
And
if
you
have
any
design
document
discussions
that
you
would
like
to
start
or
contribute
to,
if
you
click
on
this
all
documents
and
then
go
to
the
Google
Drive
page,
currently,
there's
only
one
right
now
for
Colin
resize.
But
you
can
add
any
document
in
here
that
you
want
to
and
add
you
know
we
can
carry
on
multiple
discussions
and
be
able
to
keep
the
conversation
going
for
any
of
these
topics
that
are
coming
up
for,
say
something
like
in
line
cell
editor.
F
It
that's
something
that
sati
satyam
has
already
already
has
out
and
and
is
currently
working
on.
Maybe
it's
already
in
a
full-fledged
pull
request
right
now,
but
yeah.
That's
that's
the
sum
of
the
big
stuff,
one
of
the
like
the
stuff
with
paginator
and
that
it
ends
up
being.
Let's
take
a
look
at
this
one,
because
it's
kind
of
kind
of
easy
to
follow,
but
the
way
paginator
is
working
under
the
hood.
We
just
create
a
new
paginator
and
this
is
using
a
generic
stuff.
F
Hear
some
cod
ginger
core
is
being
used
and
then
it's
being
mixed
into
a
model
right
off
the
bat
and
that's
all
it
takes
to
have
agitator
as
mixed
into
a
model
or
to
create
a
model
from
passion,
your
core,
so
it
makes
it
makes
it
really
easy
and
it
makes
a
little
really
flexible.
There's
no
there's
hardly
any
code
going
behind
the
scenes.
As
far
as-
and
this
is
concerned
with
this
UI
versus
this
UI
isn't
do
any
caching
or
like
prefetching,
ahead
of
timers
have
just
loaded
on
the
fly.
F
It's
littered
on
the
fly
for
all
of
these
they're
actually
pretty
died
pretty
dynamic
as
far
as
the
content
that's
being
loaded
in,
but
there's
also
the
idea
of
progressive
enhancement.
It's
coming
into
play
with
this
and
where
all
the
images
are
loaded
onto
the
page
first
and
then
the
paginator
comes
in
and
turns
it
into
a
slideshow
correctly,
and
so
this
is.
This
is
one
of
the
things
we're
like,
although
this
is
the
the
code
that
comes
into
play
or
the
mark-up
that's
its
on
the
screen
at
their
first.
F
It
yeah
the
the
touch
event
should
be
loaded
automatically.
That's
something
that
you
generally
get
in,
for
free
with,
with
Yui
I
haven't
tested
directly
with
a
touch
device,
but
I'd
be
happy
to
do
that.
If
we
run
into
any
issues
with
it,
this
one
actually
goes
out
and
does
a
search
with
Flickr.
Do.
A
F
C
We
discussed
it
yesterday,
man
Tony
did
so
it
would
be
good
to
have
that
yeah
would
be
good
to
have
those
two
merge
and
I,
don't
see
any
main
major
roadblocks
or
something
that
wouldn't
have
been
paginator
from
working
inside
of
Scorpio,
like
data
tables,
current
state,
at
least
before
Tony
picked
up
and
started
working
with
it,
some
more
it's
kind
of
in
a
hiatus
no
active
development
going
on,
except
for
some
maintenance
stuff
here
and
there,
but
yeah.
C
C
So
it
was
yeah
we're
currently
it's
friday,
which
began
a
couple
days
ago
and
ends
in
a
release
on
july
16.
So
I
guess
we
don't
know
at
this
point
whether
that'll
be
a
y
or
z
release.
C
Basically
either
311
or
310
dot
well,
currently
would
be
four,
but
who
knows,
we
might
have
a
unscheduled
release
in
the
meantime,
so
really
the
only
day,
it's
aside
from
the
release
date,
the
only
other
dates
that
are
important,
arge
june
thirtieth,
which
is
code
freeze
and
then
july,
ninth,
which
is
commit
fruits,
so
code
freeze,
is
basically
the
end
of
all
new
feature.
Development
and
non
sent
ya
end
of
all
new
feature
development
and
then
commit
freezes.
The
end
of
all
bug
bug
submissions,
so
yeah.
C
A
A
C
B
E
Saudia
luck:
one
of
the
projects
that
I'm
working
on
during
my
internship
is
integrating
some
web
RTC
stuff
with
Yui,
making
a
library
to
make
it
a
little
bit
easier
to
use
it.
So
I've
been
messing
around
with
it.
I
got
a
little
prototype
working,
so
I
basically
have
a
little
like
basically
skype
working
with
just
html5
I
can
try
to
do
a
demo
right
now
I'll,
send
you
a
link
not
and
then
hopefully
it'll
work.
It
works
outside
of
this
room.
So
come.
A
A
E
Anyway,
so,
basically
for
those
who
don't
know
what
web
RTC
is,
WebRTC
allows
pure
pure
connection
between
two
browsers,
so
that
can
have
some
pretty
powerful
effects.
You
can
obviously
what
I'm
doing
right
now
is
peer-to-peer
video
sharing
and
audio
sharing.
So
you
could
have
a
skype
or
hang
out
like
environment
with
just
html5
and
so
yeah
I
would
like
to
make
it
a
little
bit
easier
for
people
to
do
that.
There's
some
libraries
out
there
already
but
I
think
I
can
make
it
a
little
bit
better.
So
how
in
depth
should
I
go?
C
Let's
do
it
like,
maybe
next
week,
okay
yeah,
so
like
I
thought,
maybe
next
week
we
can
do
a
bit
more
in
depth
because
there's
certainly
some
stuff
with
WebRTC
yeah
like
to
learn
too
yeah,
definitely
yeah.
We.
C
E
A
lot
of
stuff
that
actually
goes
into
making
it
work
initially,
so,
if
I
can
get
that
away
from
people
and
actually
be
able
to,
people
can
actually
start
using
it
without
having
to
worry
about
the
stuff
that
shouldn't
have
to
matter.
No.
B
E
That
would
be
cool
on
the
next
step.
After
getting
the
video,
nice,
video
and
audio
nice
and
working
is
working
with,
what's
called
the
data
channel,
so
I
can
be
in
send
arbitrary
data
like
files
or
like
a
game
status,
or
something
like
that
through
this
data
channel
and
then
that'll
allow
pure
fear
of
data,
sending
that's
not
just
media,
which
would
be
cool.
You
know,
and
this
will
manifest
itself
as
YY
yeah
yeah.
C
A
C
E
Whatever
and
a
lot
of
implementations
actually
use
web
sockets
to
do
that,
because
it's
convenient
to
be
able
to
have
a
two-way
communication
with
browser
itself,
while
passing
along
all
the
data
that
needs
to
be
passed
along
and
what's
also
cool.
Is
that
you
can
you
don't
have
to
use
web
sockets?
You
can
literally
do
HTTP
requests
back
and
forth
the.
A
A
E
E
A
E
C
B
B
D
B
B
C
C
A
D
A
A
These
issues
that
are
listed
here
have
the
tag
up
for
grabs
and
they
have
been
listed
by
various
developers
as
bugs
that
are
worthy
of
being
fixed,
but
they
don't
have
time
where
they
think
that
people
who
are
just
starting
off
the
project
would
learn
a
lot
from
those
they
are.
There
nailed
at
nine
those
derivatives.
C
D
No,
that's
not
like
maybe
mats.
D
D
Cool
this
is
only
gonna
take
a
minute.
First,
you
cool,
so
I've
been
working
on
well,
I
have
been
really
working
on
it.
I
just
kind
of
came
up
with
it
on
our
way
home
this
new
sort
of
declarative
grid
approach
that
build
on
top
of
Yui
YY
grids.
So
currently,
if
you
use
the
current
version
of
responsive
grids
at
Yui,
you
get
something
where
you
might
have
like
four
columns
like
this.
D
But
then,
if
you
shrink
your
screen,
you're
just
gonna
get
to
like
a
collapse
like
hundred
percent
width
and
you're
going
to
get
full
rose
and
my
I'll.
It
always
bugged
me
because
I
wanted
something
in
the
middle.
So
I
made
this
this
new
grid
system.
I
guess
which
lets
you
specify
a
different
breakpoints.
So
here
you
can
see
this
four
columns
going
into
two
rows
of
two
columns
and
then
until
like
one
like
one
hundred
percent,
which
basically,
what
happens
now,
but
this
this
system
is
actually
very
flexible.
D
So
here
you
have,
and
it's
also
mobile
first.
So
here
you
have
no
one
hundred
percent
widths
on
small
screens,
but
you
can
make
it
so
that
one
of
them
vics
days
hundred
percent
the
other
ones,
become
like
one
thirds
and
like
a
tablet
display,
but
then
on
a
larger
display.
You
can
make
it.
Oh
actually
start
this.
So
this
one
stays
steady.
D
So
here
I've
like
halves
for
its
7
halves.
So
the
way
this
all
works
just
pull
this
off.
D
So
the
way
this
works
is
I
change
around
the
class
names
here
it
instead
of
having
a
pure
pure
g
and
a
pure
gr,
you
can
just
have
a
pure
grid
and
essentially
you
specify
a
class
names
for
different
media
queries.
So
in
the
grid
CSS
file
by
default,
you
have
a
dot
sm
which
stands
for
small,
so
you
can
specify
a
class
name
such
as
god
as
someone,
and
that
thing
will
be
one
hundred
percent
width
right.
D
If
you
want
it
to
do
something
different
at
another
at
another
media
query,
you
can
specify
that
change,
so
this
is
saying
on
small
screens,
be
hundred
percent
on
medium
screens,
be
fifty
percent
and
on
large
screens
be
a
quarter
right,
but
if
I
didn't
want
this
to
change
for
medium
to
large,
I
could
just
take
that
out
and
I
could
also
take
that
out,
and
it
would
all
only
be
one
hundred
percent
everywhere
and
the
way
these
are
defined.
These
mediums
and
larges
are
inside
media
queries.
D
So
something
like
this,
so
the
mediums
are
defined
inside
of
media
curry
of
at
least
480
pixels.
So
that's
like
a
little
bigger
than
I.
It
should
actually
481.
It
should
be
a
little
bigger
than
an
iphone
or
something
that
and
then
the
larges
are
defined
inside
a
980,
1,
pixel
or
higher.
So
yeah
I've
been
fooling
around
with
this
up.
D
It
actually
works
really
well
in
ie7
I
like
I
six
and
up
because
it
just
uses
the
standard
Yui
grid,
but
I
kind
of
just
read
Eclair
it
within
media
queries
and
because
there's
a
lot
of
duplication
and
G
zips
up
really
well.
And
if
you
look
at
the
gzip
here
when
everyone
grunge
I,
don't
you
guys
what
a
gzip
stew
under
500
bites
right
now,
which
is
really
small
right.
D
Know
cuz
there's
a
lot
of
repetition.
It
Jesus
really
well
so
I
haven't
been
able
to
really
break
this
yet,
but
the
cool
thing
is
you
don't
need
to
have
like
responsive
and
non-responsive?
You
can
just
have
pure
grid
on
on
I
six.
Seven,
eight,
these
mediums
and
larges
will
never
be
called
so
you
can.
D
D
The
main
difference
is
that
here,
you're
actually
working
off
the
grid,
whereas
before,
if
you
want
to
do
this,
what
you'd
have
to
do
is
you'd
have
to
say.
Oh,
this
is
mice.
You
have
to
give
it
another
class
and
you'd
be
like
oh.
This
is
like
my
pricing
table
and
my
pricing
table
has
to
you.
You,
your
wits
would
be
dependent
on
like
some
specific
element.
Name
here
you're.
This
is
the
lowest
level
just
a
grid.
So
it's
like
you
pull
this
in
and
then
you
don't
have
to
worry
about.
D
A
D
Exactly
but
it
gives
you
find
a
green
control
so
right
now
in
in
Yui
grids,
if
you
want
like
a
two-by-two
in
a
tablet
and
on
an
iPad,
it's
I,
don't
know
how
you
would
do
it.
You'd
have
to
do
it
like.
Basically,
you
have
to
stamp
another
class
name
and
do
it
yourself
so
or
customize
the
media
queries.
But
this
way
you
don't
have
to
you.
Can
this
gives
you
more
flexibility?
How.
A
D
I
think
I'll
just
have
like
I,
don't
know
where
I'm
gonna
I'm
gonna
show
this
to
like.
Maybe
some
other
people
to
see
if
we
can
pull
this
into
pure,
but
assuming
it
goes
forward,
I
think
we'll
have
same
defaults,
maybe
have
more
I
think
we
would
have
more
than
two
media
queries.
We'd
have
some
say
in
defaults,
and
then
the
grid
builder
is
how
you
could
tweak
these.
The
media
query,
like
with
values,
cool.
A
That
was
awesome,
so
this
will
be
in
oh
3,
oh,
oh,
I.
D
A
All
right,
the
only
thing
I
had
left
eye
is
just
a
quick
go
over
of
the
the
Outstanding
stale
pull
request.
So
I
want
to
describe
a
little
bit
about
the
process
that
I've
been
going
through
lately.
For
that,
so
it's
go
to
open
round
table
you'll,
see
you
n
review
with
it
up
for
grabs
bugs
and
then
under
the
S
state.
A
Is
the
state
pull
request,
lift
and
what
that
means
is
people
have
issued
pull
request
to
our
repo
and
if
the
for
quests
is
from
an
external
contributor
and
it's
over
a
week
old,
that's
considered
a
stay
up
for
quest
and
what
we've
been
doing
is
contacting
the
people
who
are
either
potential
for
this
or
the
people
who
are
need
to
give
comments
or
feedback.
So
I
have,
if
you
were,
to
go.
A
These
are
data
table
related
bugs
from
satyam
556.
It
is
from
outdoor
Eduardo
and
he
is
how
about
separate,
separate
logic
into
insert
button
container,
I,
basically
email
him
to
see
where
he's
going
to
move
forward,
that
one
see
ya,
778,
I
ping,
the
owner
of
that
vodka,
see
if
they're
still
interested
in
moving
forward
that
it's
been
awhile
since
there's
been
any
updates
for
it,
so
just
checked
in
to
see
if
they
needed
any
help.
A
A
So
all
of
the
poor
quests
that
are
sort
of
falling
into
this
stale
category
have
either
had
the
owner
contacted
a
potential
owner,
contacted
to
give
feedback
or
they'll
be
updated
in
terms
of
being
pulled
in
so
I
think
die
next
week.
This
should
be
cut
down
quite
a
bit
and
I'll
keep
on
top
of
that
type
of
thing.
A
One
thing
I
encourage
you
to
do
if
you're
in
the
community-
and
you
have
a
poor
question-
you'd
like
to
some
feedback
on
it
to
come
to
the
open
round
table
and
we
can
discuss
it
an
open
forum.
