Today's
graduation
represents
a
significant
milestone
in
the
lives
of
the
students
seated
before
us
all
of
the
service.
High
school
class
of
2022
can
take
enormous
pride
in
their
accomplishments.
Thus
far
and
collectively,
this
class
has
set
a
standard
for
unity,
spirit,
hard
work,
service
and
concern
for
others.
G
I've
heard
it
repeatedly
from
staff
members
in
the
past
few
weeks,
I'm
really
going
to
miss
this
class.
They
were
special
sitting
in
my
office
a
few
days
ago.
Thinking
about
what
I
wanted
to
say
to
you
this
evening
I
came
across
a
quote:
it's
a
famous
line
from
the
irish
poet,
william
butler
yeats,
and
it
says
education
is
not
the
feeling
of
a
pail
but
the
lighting
of
a
fire.
G
D
Toby
is
graduating
with
a
gpa
of
4.48
next
year
he
will
be
attending
the
university
of
south
florida
as
a
national
merit
finalist,
where
he
is.
He
has
received
a
full
ride,
scholarship,
to
study,
to
six.
H
H
H
H
H
H
H
There
were
so
many
different
things
that
I
could
say
or
write
about,
but
none
of
them
felt
like
they
reflected
the
message
that
I
wanted
to
deliver.
Then
I
stumbled
upon
a
quote
and
the
message
really
resonated
with
me.
This
quote
was
by
an
english
writer
named
marianne
evans
or
by
her
pen
name
george
eliot,
and
it
goes
as
follows.
H
It
is
never
too
late
to
be
what
you
might
have
been.
This
quote
caught
my
attention
because
I
feel
applies
perfectly
to
us
as
high
schoolers.
I'm
sure,
right
now,
as
high
school
is
coming
to
an
end.
A
lot
of
us
are
reminiscing
about
our
time
in
high
school
and
what
we've
done
in
these
last
four
years.
H
Probably
most
of
those
memories
are
positive,
and
I
have
a
lot
to
do
with
the
friends
we
made
or
the
sports
we
played,
but
inevitably
some
of
those
memories
and
recollections
are
probably
a
bit
more
negative.
Some
of
us
are
probably
also
thinking
about
a
time
we
didn't
seize
an
opportunity
and
ended
up
missing
out
on
something.
H
There
also
may
be
some
people
who
are
thinking
about
why
their
time
in
high
school
may
have
been
fun.
They
didn't
accomplish
what
they
wanted
to
or
haven't
become
the
students
or
the
people
that
they
had
hoped
to
be.
This
is
where
this
quote
fits
into
our
lives.
While
a
chapter
of
our
life
may
be
closing
and
it
seems
like
our
childhood
is
coming
to
an
end.
This
is
just
a
small
part
of
our
lives.
H
Others
of
us,
I'm
sure,
have
lived
up
to
the
goals
and
expectations
that
they
set
for
themselves
or,
except
for
them
by
their
parents
or
schools,
but
each
of
us
has
had
so
many
different
parts
of
our
lives,
and
now
the
high
school
is
coming
to
an
end.
We
can
be
more
than
what
we
were
in
high
school.
H
D
Thank
you
toby.
We
wish
you
the
best
of
luck
in
florida
now
I
would
like
to
present
the
service
high
school
choir
under
the
direction
of
emily
smith,
who
will
first
sing
a
million
dreams
from
the
greatest
showman,
which
will
be
followed
by
the
performance
of
service
high,
school's
alma
mater
featuring
the
choir
class
of
2022.

D
D
First,
I'd
like
to
say
old
habits
really
do
die
hard.
I'm
writing
this
two
weeks
before
graduation,
which
is
a
little
unconventional
but
hey
whatever
guess,
the
blood
pumping
well
we're
graduating
now.
Whoa
such
a
surprise
right,
it's
crazy
to
think
about
all
the
things
that
we've
experienced,
the
most
obvious
being
a
little
pandemic.
D
D
D
It
definitely
made
things
a
lot
less
gloomy,
a
lot
more
high
school,
mr
roberts,
mrs
lochner,
mrs
keller,
miss
hasbrouck,
mr
mclean,
mr
smith
and
mrs
havlin.
Thank
you
for
molding
me
into
the
person
I
am
today.
You
guys
are
awesome
principal
wardlaw.
Thank
you
for
being
featured
in
my
mythology,
wrap
zeus.
Back
baby
and
lastly,
mr
schaefer,
sadly
you're
not
here,
thank
you
for
being
the
greatest
teacher
I've
ever
known,
even
though
I
don't
actually
have
a
class
with
you
you're.
D
Definitely
the
goat
I'll
be
missing
you
the
most
soon
we'll
be
reminiscing
about
our
time
at
service
high,
whether
those
memories
were
good
or
bad
really
depend
on
how
we
spend
our
time
here,
even
if
some
of
us
weren't
the
best
in
class.
I
believe
that
our
friends
and
connections
that
we
made
along
the
way
really
matter
the
most
I'll,
definitely
look
back
on
the
assemblies.
D
D
I
believe
all
of
us
will
be
successful
in
our
own
way.
If
we
do
what
feels
right
to
us.
Speaking
for
myself,
I'm
very
anxious
for
what
the
world
has
in
store.
For
me,
I
don't
even
know
how
taxes
or
credit
works
yet,
but
I'm
still
confident
I'll
find
a
way
to
become
a
millionaire.
Just
like
I've
always
wanted
to
be.
D
The
people
we
are
today
may
not
be
the
people
we
are
tomorrow.
Just
because
you
didn't
peak
in
high
school
doesn't
mean
that
your
whole
life
isn't
going
to
be
like
a
movie
you're,
the
protagonist
of
your
life
as
corny,
as
that
sounds
as
long
as
we
all
strive
to
become
better
versions
of
ourselves.
I
truly
believe
the
class
of
2022
will
be
one
of
the
best
classes
ever.
D
C
C
C
A
A
I've
lived
all
four
years
of
my
high
school
career
with
one
rule,
never
have
the
same
outfit
as
anyone
else
yet
here
I
am
the
last
time
I
gave
a
graduation
speech
was
in
the
sixth
grade,
shout
out
fellow
o'malley
malamutes
for
those
of
you.
That
can
remember
me
from
sixth
grade.
You
are
well
aware
of
how
my
speech
went
it.
Didn't
you
see,
I
couldn't
even
complete
my
speech.
I
broke
down
crying
less
than
halfway
through
and
I
always
blamed
it
on
the
nerves.
A
A
I
can
remember
the
first
time
I
came
to
the
realization
that
I
was
an
actual
senior
like
a
legitimate
senior
like
I
was
in
the
12th
grade
as
an
underclassman.
All
I
ever
heard
from
the
upperclassmen
was
time
goes
by
so
fast
at
the
time.
I
just
thought
they
were
exaggerating.
You
know
casual
elderly
talk,
but
now
I
can
attest
to
it
and
never
really
registered.
A
Until
I
saw
the
senior
countdown
go
from
250
250
days
to
200,
then
to
150,
then
to
literally
just
50
and
then
somehow
the
50
losses
zero
five
days
left,
it
was
quite
triggering.
If
I'm
being
honest,
I
can't
say
that
I
hated
high
school,
but
I
can't
say
that
I
loved
it
either
and
I'm
still
not
quite
sure
all
the
heartbreaks
were
worth
the
character
development.
A
Like
many
in
my
personal
world,
there
were
a
lot
of
hardships.
Both
my
parents
battling
cancer
being
won
and
many
other
silent
battles,
but
now,
looking
into
this
crowd,
I
can't
imagine
how
many
of
you
have
also
been
fighting
silent
battles,
although
this
is
a
joyous
day
for
many.
This
is
also
a
day
of
mourning
and
grief
for
some
from
kindergarten
to
12th
grade.
A
A
A
A
Thanks
idol
many
might
label
a
lot
of
young
people
within
our
society
as
lost,
but
going
in
a
direction
that
isn't
deemed
as
traditional
does
not
necessarily
signify
this
concept
of
disorientation
that
is
often
pushed
like
my
parents,
love
to
say
every
man
is
the
architect
of
his
own
fortune.
In
all
that
we
do.
I
want
us
to
find
the
confidence
to
branch
out
into
the
world
in
our
own
authentic
way
and
for
us
to
be
unapologetically
ourselves,
regardless
of
any
circumstance.
A
Thurgood
marshall
said
it
best
when
we
intend
to
do
good,
we
do
when
we
intend
to
do
harm
it
happens.
What
each
of
us
must
come
to
realize
is
that
our
intent
always
comes
through.
Some
of
us
have
probably
roamed
the
halls
and
never
felt
as
though
we
had
something
in
common
with
these
people.
We
call
the
senior
class,
but
that's
not
entirely
true.
If
there
was
one
word
to
describe
one
thing,
we
have
all
inc
we
all
have
in
common
and
have
collectively
done
as
a
class.
A
D
D
J
J
Hopefully,
your
student
has
taken
a
moment
recently
to
express
their
thanks,
if
not
students
tonight's
the
night
as
a
parent
of
a
graduate.
I
also
want
to
thank
each
and
every
teacher
counselor
librarian
teachers,
assistant
and
administrator,
who
has
shared
our
children
with
us
over
the
past
13
years.
J
J
Over
the
past
four
years
you
have
grown
from
the
wide-eyed
children
who
entered
high
school
to
experience,
young
men
and
young
women
who
are
ready
to
venture
forth
and
see
what
is
next,
as
you
consider
all
of
the
options
and
think
about
all
of
the
choices
you
may
feel
overwhelmed
and
questioned.
Whether
or
not
you
really
are
ready
for
whatever
tomorrow
brings,
but
I
feel
confident
that
you
are
because
the
past
four
years
have
been
more
unique
and
filled
with
more
challenges
than
any.
J
J
This
is
a
unique
experience
to
have
had
and
one
that
you
can
talk
about
for
the
rest
of
your
lives.
It
also
was
scary
and
unsettling,
but
you
lived
through
it.
You
also
grew
through
it.
You
became
more
resilient.
The
strength
you
gained
that
day
always
will
be
with
you,
and
that
was
only
your
first
year.
More
challenges
were
ahead
and
not
just
essays
tests
fitting
in
school
dances
and
learning
to
drive
in
your
sophomore
year.
The
pandemic
began.
J
J
J
In
your
junior
year
we
continued
our
education
online.
You
as
well
as
your
teachers
struggled
to
be
successful
in
a
classroom
so
different
from
anything
you
had
ever
experienced
before
you
learned
the
new
technology
right
alongside
your
regular
classroom
lessons,
and
you
realize
that
the
challenges
you
experienced
were
the
same
kind
of
challenges.
People
everywhere
were
facing
and
once
again
you
grew
through
it.
You
were
patient
and
gave
the
people
around
you
grace
your
compassion,
for
others
always
will
be
with
you.
J
As
you
prepare
to
face
your
next
adventure,
you
realize
that
the
capacity
to
create
the
life
you
want
always
will
be
with
you
now.
Class
of
2022
know
that
whatever
the
future
holds,
you
are
loud
and
proud,
resilient,
adaptable,
compassionate
and
the
creators
of
your
own
stories
and,
more
than
anything,
you
are
loved.

K

All
right
superintendent,
dr
dina
bishop,
the
records
have
been
examined
and
I
verify
that
each
student
present
has
met
the
credit
requirements
for
graduation
from
the
anchor
school
district.
It
is
pleasure
for
me
to
present
to
you

the

It
is
also
my
sincere
pleasure
to
accept
this
class
of
2022
of
robert

and
then
complete
this
process
by
presenting
mr
holloman,
our
school
board.
Member,
the
same
assurances
that
we
just
received
that
every
single
student
on
this
floor
and
up
here
of
course,
did
exactly
what
they
were
supposed
to
do
to
become.
