A
B
D
Oh
I
announced
that
when
I,
oh
okay,
no
you're
good,
okay
getting
right
into
it,
Veterans
State
policy
chain-
and
it's
like
question
one-
is
the
administration
had
any
feedback
with
people
concerned.
D
Not
seeing
a
random
photos,
I'll
say:
I
brought
this
to
the
board
from
several
people
that
contacted
me.
Our
veterans
get
caught
in
a
funny,
I'll
call
it
a
catch
22.,
it's
not
really
I
guess,
but
for
a
long
time
either.
Veterans
Day
was
a
regular
class
day
or
it
was
a
holiday.
D
But
when
it's
an
in-service
day
you
can't
take
a
personal
day
under
a
contract
and
for
a
lot
of
veterans.
It's
a
very
meaningful
day.
It's
a
regular
class
study.
They
could
get
a
sub
or
what
a
lot
of
people
do
is
they
that
was
special
lessons
that
talk
about
me
because
I
could
say
and
whatnot,
but
they
can
take
a
personal
day
of
their
people.
They
want
to
go
be
with
us
or
other
things.
They
want
to
do
and
I'm
sorry,
but
make
it
an
in-service
day
and
that's
just
a
while.
B
And
really
maybe
it's
a
question
for
the
team
parent
as
well.
Juneteenth
is
not
a
part
of
the
observances
that
the
school's
not
in
session,
but
perhaps
summer
school
might
be.
Should
since
it's
a
recent
addition
to
a
Federal
holiday
calendar,
should
that
be
a
part
of
something
that
we
observe
or
does
that?
What
are
the
complications
from
including
two
teeth
in
this
list
of
other
holidays.
E
C
B
E
C
C
Compressed
summer
school
program,
especially
at
the
high
school
level,
because
we
have
to
finish
by
being
a
student
or
account
students
as
graduates
for
that
school
year,
that's
both
beneficial
for
the.
E
C
For
the
district,
the
trip
tomorrow,
our
graduation
rate,
if
we
give
away
it's
just
one
less
data
that
we
have
available,
we
usually
have
about
21
or
22
days
available
in
June
to
run
summer
school.
D
C
Apologize
to
the
people
on
the
boardroom-
oh
you
can
hear
it.
A
D
After
some
technical
difficulties
because
remember
Donnelly,
yes,
remember
Donnelly,
we
did
just
vote
on
the
policy
change
regarding
Veterans,
Day
and
people
being
able
to
take
a
a
personal
day.
If
it's
on
the
calendar
as
an
in-service
day,
it
was
too
old
to
pass
that
on
to
the
border
for
consideration.
I,
don't
know
if
you
wanted
to.
C
D
We
are
on
the
board
on
a
Committee
Member.
Higgins
is
not
here,
so
drop
that
down
to
the
bottom
and
tasty
logs
on
or
shows
up
before
we
are
over.
That
brings
us
to
item
three
board
policy.
B
B
Yeah
I
speak
in
Africa,
yeah,
okay,
so
I
think
everybody
was
at
the
board
meeting
the
other
night
where
I
was
at
the
very
end.
I
I
took
my
few
minutes
and
shared
my
thoughts
about
the
strenging
world,
we're
in
with
artificial
intelligence
and
chat
gbt
in
particular.
B
So
I've
spent
some
time
over
the
past
few
weeks
few
weeks.
Thinking
about
what
that
means
for
student
learning
and
I
think
we
need
to
embrace
it
as
a
district,
but
at
the
same
time
I
think
that
a
student
Reliance
on
the
products
generated
by
artificial
intelligence.
B
You
know
if
a
student
were
to
type
up
an
essay,
you
know
or
command
chat,
gbt
to
produce
a
300
word
essay
on
the
gas
and
Amendment
or
or
that
really
need
gas
and
purchase
or
the
19th
Amendment
or
Romeo
and
Juliet,
and
submit
that
as
their
writing.
It's
not
exactly
plagiarism,
because
it's
not
directly
citing
from
something
else
and
and
yet
it
is
a
kind
of
cheating
or
line
so
I
simply
was
looking
at
our
academic
honesty
policy
and
thought
that
we
could
add
a
little
bit
to
the
effective.
B
You
know
cleaning
products
generated
by
AI
as
your
own
and
I
think.
The
downside
of
this
is
that
it
could
potentially
turn
teachers
into
AI
police,
which
is
not
a
position
you
want
to
put
them
in,
but
at
the
same
time,
right
now,
students
are
already
told
they
shouldn't
be
cheating,
mind
or
plagiarizing,
so
I'm
interested
in
sort
of
Staff.
You
know
feedback
on
what
are
some
of
the
outcomes
of
changing
this
policy
to
recognize
that
we
are
now
going
to
be
looking
at
the
education
system,
Nationwide.
E
E
In
the
toolbox
to
actually
regulate
the
AI
That's
out
there,
it
seems
like
a
very
new
field,
and
they
may
feel
that
they,
they
aren't
even
equipped
to
hold
this
accountable
one.
It.
E
That
are
looking
to
address
it,
but
you
know
we
hate
to
pass
something
that
would
be
complete.
It's
not
just
my
wondering
but
I
just
learned
about
AI.
E
C
Think
there
are,
there
are
tools,
analyzers,
that
take
text
and
you
can
put
it
in
there.
It'll
tell
you
it
looks
for
tokens
and
it
can
tell
you
to
what
degree
something
may
have
been
created
by
a
chatbot,
but
I
think
this
is
going
to
keep
evolving
getting
more
sophisticated
and
I.
Don't
know
if
those
tools
will
continue.
C
I
think
this
is
a
fact
I'm
fascinated
by
this
too
I
think
I
don't
have
as
a
former
principal
an
English
teacher,
any
consternation
specifically
about
that
language,
because
I
think
one
of
the
things
that
teachers
would
pivot
to
do
is
teach
kids
how
to
properly
cite
the
use
of
it
and
integrate
that
in
as
part
of
the
writing
process
in
an
effective
way,
where
they're
not
just
trying
to
pass
off
something
that
they
didn't
write
as
their
own.
C
C
And
whatnot
do
they
have
to
note
that
they're
getting
about
to
generate
that
I
listened
to
a
radio
peacetime?
Tell
me
if
I'm
going
on
too
long
about
this,
that
was
from
a
professor
at
the
University
Pennsylvania
Wharton
School
of
Business,
who
originally
was
looking
at
the
downside
of
this
plagiarism
and
then
saw
the
utility
of
it
and
and
typed
in
a
problem
for
it
to
generate
a
syllabus
for
his
next
class.
They
created
18
syllabus.
That
was
better
than
anything.
C
He
said
perfect
in
two
hours
and
then
he
said,
write
me
the
final
for
this
course
based
on
the
syllabus,
and
it
came
up
with
a
like
a
business
model
assignment
that
was
on
par
with
the
course,
and
he
said
now
write
me.
The
second
lecture
I
would
have
to
give
in
order
to
prepare
students
for
that
final
and
It
produced
all
of
that
wow
and
so.
F
C
New
kind
of
Technology
comes
out.
You
have
to
treat
it
as
such
and
teach
kids
or
employers,
or
whatever
the
proper
way
of
using
it
and
how
it
can
be
used.
But
you
know,
as
far
as
the
actual
wording
in
this
I
I,
don't
I,
don't
see
it
as
a
I.
Don't
see
a
real
issue
with
it.
I
could
see
it
having
to
be
different
and
then
even
in
the
year,
because
this
is
also
new.
B
I
mean
I
I
chose
AI,
specifically
because
it
is
an
umbrella
right.
It
is
not
a
single
piece
of
technology.
It's
it's
the
umbrella
under
which
all
of
the
other
Technologies
are
are
already
grouped.
I
mean
there
are
artificial
intelligence
exists
in
a
number
of
Dimensions
right
now
you
may
have
to
consider
it's
use
in
special
education
as
well.
B
Prohibiting
use
of
it
it'd
have
to
be
cited
or
acknowledged.
So
it's
still
there
that's
a
tool,
and
somebody
wants
to
educate
kids
about
it,
but
it
does
avoid.
A
A
student
being
able
to
make
the
argument,
but
I
think
I,
didn't
actually
do
anything
wrong
here.
It's
explicit
that
you
can't
just
use
it
and
not
know
that
you
can't
claim
it
is
wrong.
That
I
think
it's
good
language
that
makes
us
a
reasonable
policy
to
put
in
I.
Don't
think
it
hampers
anybody.
G
Remember:
Jacobs
yeah.
Thank
you.
Mr,
chair,
I,
don't
have
a
problem
with
the
draft
addition
to
the
language
I
as
I
read
the
current
language
I
would
consider
the
use
of
artificial
intelligence
to
generate
work
which
isn't
your
own,
and
you
know
going
against
the
previous
sentence
that
talks
about
a
result
of
you
know
their
own
efforts
and
so
I
think
it
just
is
kind
of
clearly
spelling
it
out,
but
I
I
guess.
Instead,
what
I
you
know
what
I'm
thinking
through
and
what
I
think
I'm
hearing
in
conversation.
G
There
seems
to
be
kind
of
a
begging
for
an
AR,
maybe
to
indicate
how
we're
going
to
go
about
the
work
of
integrating
AI
on
some
level,
at
least
in
the
future.
How
staff
could
use
it?
How
students,
when
appropriated,
can
it
be
used?
I
think
there's
probably
more
conversation
that
goes
to
day-to-day
District
Operations.
That
would
fall
outside
of
the
board
policy.
So
that's!
Those
are
my
thoughts.
I
mean
if
we
want
to
spell
it
out.
G
That's
fine
I
think
the
current
policy
can
certainly
cover
that,
at
least
in
my
opinion
and
I
would
have
a
have.
You
know
have
an
issue
with
one
of
my
teenagers
generating
an
essay
on
through
no
work
of
their
own,
but
I
do
think
that
there's
some
administrative
work
on
the
back
end.
That
needs
to
be
done,
but
also
there's.
You
know
the
the
benefit
of
an
AR,
as
we've
talked
about
multiple
times,
is
the
flexibility
where
we
aren't
waiting
for
a
board
update
a
policy
Administration
can
update
that
as
technology
evolves.
E
Any
other
discussion,
if
I
could
just
add
and
I
completely
agree
with
remember
Jacobs,
regardless
of
whether
or
not
there's
a
policy
on
this,
there
does
need
to
be
administrative
regulation
just
to
ensure
there
are
checks
that
we
clearly
delineate
that,
even
though
this
is
an
original
product,
it
would
be
academically
just
dishonest
to
present
it
as
your
own
right.
D
B
I'll
take
a
lead
on
speaking
to
this.
This
is
a
follow-up
from
our
last
board
meeting,
not
coordinating
governance
meeting
in
November,
which
was
the
first
time.
Governance
saw
the
work
of
the
wellness
advisory
committee
and
again
tremendous
thanks
to
a
member
Jacobs
for
helping
Steward
this
and
to
have
a
lot
of
the
staff
in
the
rooms
today,
Tim
Cindy,
Emily
and
Marty
for
shepherding
this
process
throughout
the
fall.
B
So
there
were
a
couple
of
questions
at
that
prior
governance
meeting
and
there
were
two
small
changes
that
are
a
part
of
this
product
and
those
two
changes
just
for
the
record
were
number
one.
We
included
an
item
providing
clarifying
the
secondary.
A
B
Instead
of
reading
secondary
schools
shall
provide
a
lunch
period
of
that
shall
provide
no
less
than
30
minutes
total
for
lunch
and
unstructured
physical
activity.
Now
we're
in
secondary
schools
shall
provide
a
lunch
period
of
no
less
than
30
minutes,
which
may
also
include
time
for
unstructured
physical
activity,
and
then
there
was
another
concern
from
the
governance
committee
regarding
marketing
and
we
inserted
language
which
I
think
also
aligns
with
Federal
Federal
language
through
this
check
called
the
well
said.
B
B
So
just
two
changes
based
on
the
wellness
committees,
quite
thorough
review
of
best
practices
and
regulations
and
requirements
and
I
know
what
the
last
meeting
Administration
brought.
Some
draft
ARS
about.
Fundraising,
ee
waivers,
inclement,
weather
recess
to
the
meeting
and
I
think
that
there
might
be
the.
B
So
the
ARs
are
up
and
running
wonderful,
so
that
is.
D
B
Guess
the
extent
of
this
update
it
is
a
very
large
policy
with
the
implication
to
change
school
days
and
hopefully
enhance
student
learning.
That's
my
personal
opinion,
but
I
guess
at
that
point.
D
We
did
Passion
pretty
well
last
time
and
he
had
these
changes
were
coming
in
line
with
what
we
discussed.
D
He's
interested
in
establishing
a
committee,
not
necessarily
Financial
audits
but
I,
know
in
the
past
sort
of
like
100
different
elements
of
the
district
in
different
areas
and
I'm,
not
sure
how
much
of
that's
Fallen
by
the
wayside.
But
that's
what
he's
interested
in
reestablishing
an
interesting
routine,
we'll
get
different
programs
and
policies
and
procedures,
but
we
don't
have
anything
to
get
away
from
him.
D
Seeing
none!
That
concludes
what
we're
going
to
try
to
get
done
today
in
this
special
meeting
and
if
no
one
has
anything
else
on
the
turn
foreign.
