A
Okay,
it's
Thursday
November
17th
1204..
If
we
could
just
take
a
quick
minute
and
let
everybody
introduce
themselves
in
the
room
and
then
online.
A
Katie
Grant
Office
of
Management
I'm,
Dora,
Wilson,
School,
Board
member,
and
do
we
have
anybody
online
Margot
is
getting
on
right
now
and
we
also
have
Sandy
Thompson
with
totem.
Okay,
awesome
and.
A
C
We're
a
little
over
halfway
through
our
town
halls.
We
were
at
Cloud
yesterday
on
next
Monday.
We
pick
back
up
without
a
loop
and
close
it
out
with
in-person
for
Wonder
Park
on
the
22nd,
and
then
we
move
into
our
virtuals,
which
will
start
the
week
of
the
28th.
We've
got
two
virtuals
focused
in
on
the
six
schools
that
are
on
the
recommendation
list.
That'll
happen
on
the
29th
and
the
30th
from
six
to
eight
and
that'll
be
live
streams,
and
then
on
Thursday
December
1st.
C
We
have
the
virtual
that
we
focused
on
the
relocation
and
repurposing
plan
with
the
budget
Solutions,
and
so
the
runner
show
for
the
virtuals
will
be
similar
to
how
we're
doing
the
in-persons
in
terms
of
presentation
and
we'll
have
a
short
presentation
off
at
the
top
and
then
we'll
get
into
the
Q
a
that
will
all
be
led
by
our
consultant
Shannon
Bingham.
We
are
doing
six
to
eight
for
the
town
halls
just
because
of
how
things
have
been
happening.
C
We
want
to
make
sure
that
people
have
that
space
and
can
plan
for
that
space
to
have
that
engagement
with
us
in
order
for
the
public
to
participate
in
the
Q,
a
portion
we're
keeping
it
consistent
with
school
board
public
process
when
it
comes
to
online
participation.
What
we
have
communicated
to
our
families
and
staff
and
the
rest
of
the
public
is
that,
if
you're
interested
in
participating
in
the
Q
a
portion,
we
want
you
to
sign
up
no
later
than
5
PM
on
the
day
before.
C
The
reason
for
that
is
to
make
sure
that
we
can
get
those
folks
access
to
participating
online
as
well
as
translation
needs
for
those
folks
that
need
that
additional
language
support
so
that
that's
the
they
updated
on
where
we
are
with
Town
Halls.
The
Engagement
online
has
been
very
popular,
we're
seeing
more
engagement
after
the
town
halls
occur
where
people
are
sharing
it
and
re-watching
it
as
opposed
to
live.
F
And
I'd
like
to
say
I
didn't
think
they've
been
handled
really
well,
it's
always
it
can
be
difficult
and
I
said
anything
like
that,
and
a
lot
of
people
are
very
emotional
but
I.
Think
staff
has
done
a
great
job
and
obviously
a
lot
of
prep
has
gone
in
that
you've
set
up
the
the
technology
is
fairly
complex,
so
it's
those
folks
have
done
a
great
job
with
it
too.
A
D
More
question
with
this:
the
December
first
one
with
the
relocation
and
repurposing
plan.
Are
you
as
ASD,
specifically
targeting
the
receiving
schools
or
doing
anything
to
say
to
emphasize
that
it
I
don't
know?
Are
we
doing
anything
to
promote
understanding
about
their
perceiving
Tools
in
touch
with
if
what
their
boundaries
might
change
or.
C
They
in
terms
of
like
Outreach
to
the.
D
C
December,
1st
yeah,
that's
the
one
for
December,
so
29th
and
the
30th
are:
are
the
virtual
Town
Halls
that
we
had
said
hey?
We
can't
make
it
to
the
in
person,
okay,
for
whatever
reason
we're
going
to
do
a
virtual
option
for
those
folks
that
can't
are
unable
to
attend
in
person.
So
that's
the
purpose
of
the
29th
and
the
30th,
and
it's
all
six
schools
that
are
on
the
recommendation
list.
C
That
will
be
the
focus
of
those
conversations
and
then
on
this
first
December
1st
will
be
specific
to
what
the
district
is
looking
at
in
terms
of
relocation
and
repurposing
of
the
buildings.
That
will
be
the
topic
for
that
in
town,
hall,
okay,
and
so
those
schools,
and
that
has
been
communicated
to
those
schools
that
this
is
happening,
and
that
is
the
focus
okay.
Does
that.
A
A
A
E
A
I
I
They
they
really
are
going
well,
despite
all
the
the
bad
news,
so
make
sure
people
just
want
to
make
sure
people
know
that
and
just
a
suggestion
for
MJ
if
we
can
somehow
split
the
December
1
meeting
from
the
29th
and
the
30th
meetings,
so
that
it
is
a
standalone
on
the
website
because
it
looks
to
be
it
looks
they
all
look
to
be
the
same
when
that
that,
but
that
one
on
December
1st
really
is
different.
C
Yeah
Corey
just
pointed
out
that
to
me
right
now
and
so
I'm
getting
in
there
and
I'll
hook
up
with
Mark
to
get
that
okay
question
out
further
on
that,
but
Corey
Corey
got
you
okay,.
H
I
My
only
other
I
forgot.
B
I
Was
I
forgot
it,
but
that's
okay.
It
must
not
have
been
important
if
it
comes
back
to
me.
I'll
share,
but
I
forgot
what
I
was
gonna.
It
was
something
about
the
time
town
halls,
but
anyway
good
job
and
three
down
three
to
go.
C
Four:
four
down
two
more
down
three
in
Virtual,
but
who's,
counting
I.
I
Know,
right
anyway,
make
sure
all
the
staff
involved
understand
how
appreciative
you
know
the
communications
committee,
the
board,
the
entire
board.
Is,
you
know
we
get
some
complaints
that
we,
if
we
were
complaining,
they'd,
get
it
really
quickly
but
make
sure
they
get
the
Kudos
just
as
quick.
Thank
you.
C
I
And
I
think
I'm
happy
I'm
happy
if
Madam
chair,
if
the
committee
would
like
to,
we
could
send
little.
Thank
you
notes
to
you
know.
I
know
the
principles
this
is
outside
of
their
Duty,
the
the
you
know
the
support
staff,
all
of
our
admin,
people
who
are
involved.
We
could
probably
figure
out
a
way
to
send
them
a
a
thank
you.
A
So
second
thing
on
the
agenda
for
all
okay
moving
forward
is
an
update
on
budget
survey
number
two.
C
So
survey
number
two
is
out
and
Shannon
is
looking
at
sun
setting
survey
number
two
I
think
on
December
1st,
so
we'll
get
that
clarified
and
then
get
that
out
to
our
families
and
staff
in
the
public
that
that's
going
to
be.
The
deadline
for
budget
survey
number
two
that
has
been
pushed
out
a
lot
of
social
channels
and
also
in
person
during
our
town
halls.
C
So
in
for
those
that
don't
know
our
at
our
in-person
town
halls,
we
have
a
table
set
up
in
multiple
languages
for
folks
to
take
the
survey
online.
But
then
we
also
have
the
old
school
hard
copies
as
well
in
different
languages,
and
we
do
have
members
of
our
community
at
those
schools
that
are
participating,
that
they
are
taking
the
time
to
do
participate
in
that
survey,
whether
doing
it
through
one
of
our
Chromebooks
or
they're.
Taking
the
time
and
doing
it
out,
writing
it
out.
C
C
I
No,
not
really
I,
think
I.
Think.
I
I
think
I
think
we're
I.
Just
wonder
if
we're
getting
are
we
getting
useful
information?
I
guess
it's
too
soon
for
that
question.
I
know
from
the
first
survey.
C
Yeah
I,
don't
have
so
I'll
just
use
Kelly's
Wellness
survey
I,
you
know,
Kelly
knows
how
much
you've
gotten
so
far
in
terms
of
participation
right,
yeah
I.
Don't
have
that
I!
Don't
have
that
answer
for
Budget.
This
survey
number
two
but
I
certainly
can
Circle
back
and
get
that
to
you.
I
Okay
and
I'm
just
curious
to
see
how
how
people
are
responding
to
now.
That
now
that
we
have
had
some
conversations,
you
know
more
Town,
Halls,
more
media
I
mean
I.
Think
we
we're
in
the
news
every
single
day.
A
lot
of
it
is
incorrect,
but
we
are
there
and
I
I.
Just
wonder
I'm
wondering
if
people
are
still
engaged
are
concerned
enough
to
take
time
to
do
the
survey
and
whether
or
not
we
what
kind
of
information
we're
getting
from
you
know
from
them.
So
yeah.
B
A
B
A
They
were
in
different
languages,
which
language
and
also
the
pronounced
were
in
the
different
languages.
So
I
really
appreciate
that
effort.
The
translation,
accessibility,
yeah.
C
It's
been
fun
working
with
the
team,
they're,
definitely
wanting
to
get
that
stuff
translated
and
provide
that
support
for
our
families
and
community.
So
and
it's.
C
Is
definitely
as
a
team,
a
team
member
here,
everybody's
chipping
it
in
and
playing
a
role
with
a
kid
to
make
these
things
happen.
So
it's
been
really
cool
to
watch
and
do
so
no.
A
D
Guess
I
had
one
question
and
each
of
the
schools
that
we've
had
Pam
hauls
at
seems
to
present
I,
don't
know
a
different
core
set
of
values.
You
know
the
walkability
people
have
said
that
that's
an
important
value
to
consider
in
school,
closings
and
I,
don't
know
because
I
haven't
taken
the
second
budget
survey.
D
Is
there
any
way
for
people
to
express
like
what
are
the
metrics
that
the
community
I
mean
Mr
Bingham
is
coming
in
with
a
set
of
parameters
shaping
his
suggestions
for
the
schools
to
repurpose,
but
do
we
have
a
mechanism
to
include
Community
feedback
about,
is
walkability
an
important
consideration,
or
should
that
be
an
important
consideration,
or
you
know
that
they're,
climate
and
connectedness
I
mean
we
have
a
survey
about
that?
H
I
Question
two
member
lessons:
I'm,
you
know
I.
I
Why
do
we
want
to
know
that
I
mean?
Why
do
we
need
to
know
that
at
this
level,
when
the
decision
is
made,
schools
are
going
to
have
to
create
a
unique
and
different
culture.
I
That's
like
it
is,
it
isn't,
but
it's
a
value
that
we've
heard
and
that
we
all
we
know
that
it
exists.
You
know
we
are
built
to
be
neighborhood
schools
but
to
to
I,
don't
know
how
I
would
factor
that
into
my
to
my
decision
about
whether
to
close
the
school
or
not
because
it's
not
about
it's
not
about
those
values.
It's
about
the
fiscal
situation
that
we
find
ourselves
in
and
so
I
get.
You
know
I
think
for
me
to
ask
me
about
that
means
you're
going
to
consider
it
and
it
can
stop.
I
D
For
these
six
schools
there
could
be
other
inputs
that
the
community
says.
Well,
we
think
these
things
should
be
factored
into
the
decisions
as
well.
Although.
B
D
D
Any
school
right,
I
mean
like
another
metric,
perhaps
would
be
like
if
you
look
at
and
I,
don't
remember
the
technical
wording,
but
you
know
in
the
CIP
we
have
different
metrics
based
on
like
how
many
kids
live
in
the
neighborhood,
but
are
choosing
to
go
outside
of
the
neighborhood.
It's
not
actual
utilization,
but
it's
kind
of
like
oh
there's,
a
lot
of
school
choice
in
this
neighborhood
or
yeah
yeah,
and
then
should
that
be
a
factor
in
our
consideration
or.
I
I
Was
just
I'm
just
curious,
because
I,
don't
I
I
mean
to
ask
the
question
in
this
climate?
Does
we'll
we'll
create
false
hope
for
people
and
I
I?
Think
that
that
at
least
to
me
and
I
think
that
the
more
we
can
stick
to
to
not
to
not
be
to
not
create
false
hope,
I
guess
I,
don't
I,
don't
even
know
what
to
call
it.
I
But
but
anyway,
that's
just
my
my
decision
and
I
was
trying
to
understand
just
understand
better
because
I
think
I'm
getting
that
from
sitting
in
from
listening
to
the
town
halls
when
I
miss
one
I,
look
at
it
from
the
beginning
to
the
end,
online
I
keep
a
running
list
of
notes
and
they're
all
saying
the
same
thing:
family
tradition,
history,
history,
connecting
connections
to
the
community,
walkability
I
mean
they
all
want
the
same
thing
and
that
to
me
that's
the
value
of
having
the
town
halls
and
hearing
that
from
people
to
put
it
in
a
survey.
I
I
think
would
give
the
wrong
might
create
a
the
wrong
question.
I
G
Yeah,
if
I
may,
just
to
Margo's
point
and
and
to
Kelly's
Point
walkability,
is
actually
one
of
the
ingredients
that
is
a
given.
It
is
a
given
that
there
is
some
diminished
amount
of
walkability
to
any
school
we
would
consolidate
and
that
that
that
is
so
kind
of
to
your
point,
your
right
to
think
about
that
and
tomorrow's
point
in
everyone
will
have
an
opinion
that
any
diminished
walkability
is
a
bad
thing
to
the
extent
that
that
factors
into
the
overall
more
macro
economic
decision.
I
So
anyway,
I
don't
know
if
there'll
be
a
survey
three,
but
we
can
discuss
further.
A
A
I
Yeah
so
Kathy
and
I
I
don't
know
board
members
are
not
thank
you,
member
lessons
for
putting
in
your
your
thoughts.
Thank
you.
You
and
I
were
the
only
two.
I
I
Because
I've
added
some
stuff
that
I've
heard
board
members
say
but
they've
not
put
it
in
the
in
our
Google
doc,
so
I
do
want
to.
H
I
F
D
I
We're
gonna
we're
gonna,
look
at
it
again
together
guys,
so
what
we
we
started
with,
where
we
were
with
our
with
our
primary
goals
from
2022..
I
So
last
year
our
priority
buckets
were
in
these
three
buckets:
funding:
mental
health
and
secure
and
safety,
foundational,
instructional
programs
and
rigorous
standards.
So
this
year,
what
we're
trying
to
do?
There
were
two
actual
documents.
One
wanted
you
to
keep
delete
or
modify.
Here's
the
other
one.
We
went
through
each
one
of
the
2022
legislative
priorities.
I
The
first
one
was
support,
foundational
instructional
programs
and
rigorous
standards
to
ensure
Alaska
students,
outcomes,
prepare
them
for
success
in
life
now
with
the
so
that
was
one
and
we
wanted
you
to
keep
delete,
modify
or
add
another
or
add
something
else.
So
you
had
two
ways
that
you
could
have
completed
the
survey.
Our
second
priority,
which
I'm
sure
is
going
to
continue
it
is
every
year,
was
to
provide
Fair,
predictable
and
proactive
funding.
I
The
words
may
change
a
little
bit
and
then
the
third
bucket
was
renew
commitment
to
Student
Wellness
mental
health
and
safety
by
aggressively
supporting
practices
that
support
the
whole
student.
Okay,
so
that
that
those
were
the
2022
priorities
so
moving
over
to
2023
what
has
been
submitted
and
and
I
and
I
want
your
thoughts.
Your
thoughts
member
lessons
this
the
First
Column
is
the
board
member
that
submitted
the
the
the
priority
and
the
middle
is
what
it
is.
I
We
have
not
put
any
notes
in
yet,
but
that's
what
that'll
be
our
last
piece
before
the
before
the
luncheon.
So
what
I
need
are
the
big
buckets
today
and
I
think
it's
going
to
be
now.
Dr
Bryant
has
been
using
the
Three
B's
I
kind
of
like
the
Three
B's
budget,
bonding
and
busing,
as
as
kind
of
the
buckets
that
we're
going
to
use
and
build
our
campaign
around
this
year
and
then
putting
all
these
items
in
its
correct
bucket.
I
So
I
will
probably
be
reaching
out
to
members
of
this
committee
to
do
another
Zoom
meeting
after
right
before
the
legislative
luncheon,
so
that
we
make
sure
we
we
we
have
I
want
to
show
you
the
actual
the
finalized
product.
I
All
right
so
remember
lessons:
priorities
were
District
cost
Factor
study
funded
by
icer
and
I,
and
then
we
and
that
that
would
be
a
funding
or
a
budget
kind
of
question
teacher
pensions,
and
that
goes
with
one
of
mine
down
here.
I
I'm
gonna
move
it
while
I'm
thinking
about
it,
because
that
that
kind
of
goes
with
member
lessons,
the
teacher
pensions,
I,
think
or
or
possibly
Fair
adequate
and
in
inflation-proof
funding
there
that's
twice,
so
we
can
move
it
from
down
here,
make
it
a
little
easier
put
it
up
here
and
while
I'm
doing
this,
you
guys
can
be
thinking
of
what
you
want
to
add
student
and
staff
wellness
and
safe
schools.
I
I
E
Bryant
I
think
I
already
forgot
my
thoughts,
but
I
think
what
I
was
going
to
say
was
that
one
of
our
priorities
is
bonds.
One
of
the
things
that
we
can
lump
into
that
would
be
something
like
you
know,
safe
schools,
because
that
would
give
the
community
more
confidence
in
investing
in
bonds
that
support
safety,
vest
fuels
and
other
things.
So
that's
just
one
idea
for
how
to
combine
these
pregnancy.
E
E
I
I
D
One
of
the
interesting
conversations
that
arose
in
our
glass,
Wellness
Advisory
Group
meeting,
was
looking
at
some
in
looking
at
Community
input
about
staff
wellness,
and
there
were
a
number
of
comments
to
the
effect
of
you
know,
making
sure
we
have
adequate
substitute
teachers
actually
supports
staff,
Wellness,
making
sure
a
lot
of
the
nuts
and
bolts
of
a
working
school
system
are.
There
will
help
support
teachers.
D
You
know
when,
when
they
need
that
time
for
themselves
time
and
space
so
that
they
don't
have
enormous
class
sizes
that
promotes
staff
Wellness,
so
funding
and
wellness
and
back
go
hand
in
hand,
I
think,
okay,.
I
E
G
D
G
A
D
Well,
I
think,
are
we
wanted
under
right,
safe
buildings
that
we
can
keep
up
to
date
are
going
to
promote
student
learning
among
other
things,
but
if
we
think
about
staff
Wellness
as
a
component
of
student
wellness
and
growth.
I
D
Is
and
I
know
that
member
Donnelly
has
spoken
stridently
in
support
of
this.
It's
my
understanding
that,
based
on
conversations
with
him
that,
in
order
for
the
district
cost,
Factor
area,
cost
differential,
I've
heard
by
both
terms
to
be
changed
in
the
state
formula,
the
state
needs
an
updated
study
by
icer.
D
Spicer
will
not
conduct
that
study
if
it
is
just
locally
funded.
The
Anchorage
assembly
can't
fund
that
study.
The
state
needs
to
fund
it
and
I
think
that
there
was
some
movement
towards
maybe
getting
this
study
authorized
last
year,
but
it
fell
through
so
I
think
that
we've
got
to
get
the
Anchorage.
D
What's
the
word,
the
anchored
people
caucus?
Thank
you.
The
Anchorage
caucus
must
get
behind
this,
but
we
need
friends
too,
outside
of
wheatbridge.
So.
D
H
I
I'll
forget
the
air,
the
typos
District
cost
Factor.
H
I
I'm
not
as
fast
as
Katie
or
Amanda.
I
I
D
That
was
gosh
a
while
back
we
got,
we
received
an
email,
we've
received,
many
emails
to
the
board,
and
somebody
said:
I
really
hope
that
the
board's
legislative
priorities
involved
yeah.
A
I
F
F
A
To
my
comments
really
quick
to
to
address
that
I'm
meeting
with
Sonia
well,
MJ
and
I
are
meeting
with
Sonia.
A
Then
next
week,
because
Community
engagement
moved
over
to
her
Department
to
see
how
we
can
Contin
start
incorporating
the
community
engagement
community
outreach
portion
of
what's
being
done
and
restrict
into
this
meeting
as
well,
so
that
that
is
the
plan
right
to
move
forward
with
that.
So
yeah.
F
I
I
It
later,
but
this
is
important
and
one
of
the
things
I
wanted
to
bring
up
today,
Dr,
Brian
and
I
are
going
to
be
talking
with
that.
The
School
Board
Association
just
got
a
grant
a
family
engagement
Grant
and
we're
going
to
be
talking
with
Laurie,
because
somehow
they
think
we
are
we're.
We're
already
signed
up
for
the
grant.
I
I
I,
don't
I,
don't
remember,
signing
us
up,
but
I'm
really
impressed
I'm,
really
impressed
with
the
the
process
that
they're
going
to
use
to
create
a
family
engagement
model,
and
so
it
seems
to
me
like
that,
would
be
so
I.
So
it's
we
haven't
had
the
meeting
yet
but
and
I
did
share
a
handout
with
Dr
Bryant.
I
That
I
did
pick
up
at
the
conference
about
the
about
the
family
engagement
and
you
know
so,
and
it
does
need
to
have
a
point
of
contact
and
you'll,
be
working,
not
just
we'll
be
working
with
other
districts
around
the
state
to
design
a
family
engagement
strategies
that
that
work
that
are
unique
to
our
needs.
I
So
everybody
involved
will
be,
you
know
doing
it
doing
things
to
fit
their
own
community
and
so
with
our
new
organization
and
the
fact
that
we
have
a
family
engagement,
I,
don't
know
MJ
if
you
are
able
to
join
us
for
that
call
and
I
can't
remember
when
it
is
now.
E
A
I
Janet
I
think
Janet
picked,
set
it
up,
but
I'll
send
I'll,
send
the
links
out.
I
Mj
Dora
Kelly
did
you
want
to
sit
in
it's
three
o'clock
tomorrow?
That's
not
gonna.
I
Up
your
kids,
okay!
Well,
we'll
we'll
get
back
to
you,
but
anyway,
so
that
that
I'm
not
saying
it
can't
be
a
legislative
priority.
If
we
can
fit
it,
maybe
it
can
go
under.
I
I
So
we
we
may
have
an
opportunity.
There
is
all
I'm
saying
and
I,
don't
know
if
you
what
oh
sonja's
out
of
town
right
now
right.
I
I
No
I
I
really
do
think
we
need
to.
This
has
been
one
of
our
goal,
our
the
boards
internal
goals
like
through
through
this
committee.
It
has
been
one
of
our
goals:
okay,
so
Andy.
What's
missing,
for
you,
whether
it's
a
bond,
a
busing
or
budget.
F
I
think
that's
enough,
you
know
there's
always
more,
but
as
I
say
the
problems
is,
you
can
have
so
many
of
them.
What
I.
D
E
D
I
D
D
D
G
Yeah
about
this
this
morning-
and
perhaps
it
belongs
on
this
on
this
Docket-
in
that
we
want
to
ask
the
legislator
sure,
as
we
know-
and
we
were
reminded
in
this
week's
Democratic
Caucus
meeting
here
in
this
building-
that
they
have
a
perception
that
we
need
to
consolidate
schools
and
that
they
want
to
see
that
we're
taking
those
steps
to
to
give
us
more
funding.
H
G
That
we
we
need
to
get
much
more
efficient.
Our
thinking
is,
we
would
ask
them
to
change
the
statute
around
the
five-year
hold
harmless
to
make
that
hat
bear
more
fruit
financially.
Yes,
that
would
also
cure
the
public
perception
that
this
really
is
not
anything
but
a
temporary
reduction
in
cost,
and
that,
if
the
legislature
would
accommodate
that,
then
they
should
be
very
willing
to
do
so.
That
that
goes
hand
in
hand
with
our
ability
to
engage
the
community
and
consolidate
schools.
So
that's
that
goes.
B
Actually
works
pretty
well
when
we
map
it
out.
You
know
we
can
say
we
close
those
six
schools
to
say
four
and
a
half
million
dollars.
We
lose
four
and
a
half
million
dollars
a
revenue,
so
they
both
go
down
about
the
same
rate.
So
it's
pretty
well
designed
as
far
as
the
overhead
costing
increase
incrementally
per
student
as
a
school
is
smaller.
E
B
Funding
the
statute
of
doing
it
a
few
years
ago
and
put
that
in
got
to
put
in
there
yeah.
It
was
to
incentivize
like
at
least
a
short
term
incentive
to
consolidation.
G
I
E
G
It's
almost
to
or
to
include
a
a
more
incentive
for
consolidating
schools.
G
To
separate
the
two
concepts
that
the
body
of
legislation
that
allows
the
muni
or
caps
Community
where
they
are
now,
is
it
push
from
the
bush
caucus
and
other
school
districts
even
other
big
five
school
districts?
That's
nearly
insurmountable,
but
this
would
be
a
way
around
that.
As
far
as
the
ability
to
consolidate.
G
But
this
to
expand
on
or
make
representative
Von
imhoff's
idea,
which
was
originally
put
in
place
to
allow
us
to
begin
to
consolidate
if
that
could
be
expanded
and
provided
further
incentive,
because
we
know
we're
going
to
be
facing
this
for
years.
The
timing
would
be
now
to
get
that
to
get
that
out
and
ask
for
that.
I
Okay,
let's
see
who
any
any
any
other
thoughts
for.
D
The
bucket
I
was
just
going
to
take
a
peek
at
I,
know
we're
almost
a
Time.
You
know
when
we
met
with
the
other
districts
at
the
aasb.
Oh
yes
about
funding.
We
talked
about
teacher
Recruitment
and
Retention
growing,
our
own
partnering
with
UA.
We
talked.
D
We
talked
about
analysis
of
assessment
to
include
5.7
in
Alaska
languages.
I
D
So
another
priority
from
our
group
was
health
and
wellness,
and
we
talked
about
absenteeism
as
a
portion
of
along
with
drugs
and
tobacco.
I.
Think
fentanyl
literacy
needs
to
be
something,
and
we
talked
about
supporting
families
and
students,
post-secondary
opportunities.
So
oh
yeah
CTE.
We
want
to
translate
any
of.
B
D
H
F
One
other
some
people
pointed
out.
We
really
can't
inflation
proof
the
BSA,
but
we
can
do
an
inflation
adjustment.
A
A
C
On
that
Margot
started
out,
so
we've
got
the
invite
was
taken.
It
was
developed
in
the
sent
house.
We've
got
that
the
Run
of
show
is
set.
C
So
it's
really
coming
down
to
the
presentation
and
the
materials
that
we're
going
to
produce
for
our
guests
that
day
and
that's
something
that
we're
still
working
on
with
Margo
we're
looking
at
switching
it
up
for
the
tables
to
not
have
so
many
printed
materials
on
there.
There's
a
lot
of
that
is
left
over
over
the
past
couple
years.
C
So
we
want
to
tighten
that
up
and
we're
looking
at
a
larger
size
table
tent
with
some
QR
codes
for
Access,
but
also
providing
some
hard
copies
for
our
guests
to
take
home,
but
not
to
the
level
that
we
have
in
the
past,
because
we
need
to
tighten
up
those
print
needs.
So.
C
Idea
and
what
we're
looking
at
that's
left
on
the
the
planning
table
for
the
luncheon
Largo.
I
Sure
so
we
are
working
on
as
MJ
said,
we're
working
out
still
working
on
the
presentation.
I
Kelly
I
still
have
your
suggestions
from
when
we
were
at
the
conference
on
giving
the
new
legislators
something
that
about
the
schools
in
there
in
their
area,
so
I'm
still
trying
it
comes
at
a
time
I'm
trying
to
figure
out
how,
where
the
staff
time
is
going
to
come
from,
but
there
might
be
some
options
and
some
ways
to
to
maybe
show
them
where
our
the
data
dashboard
and
how
they
can
go
in
there
and
not
necessarily
see
class
size,
but
getting
the
information
I
think.
I
The
information
that
you
suggested
will
take
a
lot
of
Staff
time,
which
we
don't
have,
because
it's
it's
it's
right
in
the
middle
of
all
these
Town
Halls
and
the
budget,
but
trying
to
figure
out
at
least
we
can
let
them
know
what
their
where
their
schools
are.
They
will
know
already
if
their
school
is
up
for
is
one
of
the
ones
that
are
identified
for
for
closure.
They
will
know
that
I
think
and
so
showing
them
how
to
I.
I
Don't
I
don't
know
so
we'll
see
how
what
comes
back
and
what
the
staff
is
able
to
do
with
class
sizes,
Staffing
shortfalls
I.
B
D
Good
fire
going
I
know
the
legislator
should
know
what
schools
are
in
their
district
and
it
occurred
to
me.
There
was
an
appendix
at
the
back
of
our
budget
book
yeah
and
it
shows
I
mean
every
school.
Has
you
know
I
get
20
FPE,
but
this
particular
year
because
we're
using
we're
backfilling
our
budget
with
Federal
relief
funds.
There
is
an
appendix
that
shows,
you
know,
I,
don't
know.
School
X
is
having
five
of
its
teachers
funded
by
federal
relief
funds.
D
D
I
D
I
Think
for
the
luncheon
we
I
think
we'll
let
them
get
to
Juno
and
then
let
their
jaws
drop.
A
I
Ahead
but
but
not
for
the
luncheon,
we
got
an
hour
and
a
half
to
meet
our
new
legislators.
Have
them
meet
us,
enjoy
a
meal
prepared
by
our
students,
enjoy
music
from
the
East
high
ukulele
band
and
maybe
take
a
school
tour.
I
mean
a
tour
of
the
school
if
they
haven't
had
it,
that's
going
to
take
up
and
then
we're
going
to
talk
about
our
legislative
priorities.
That's
what's
going
to
take
up
our
time
at
the
luncheon,
but
but
we
are.
I
We
are
preparing
long
term
on
what
we're
going
to
take
to
Juno
with
us.
I
just
wanted.
D
I
It
won't
be,
we
won't
have
it
for
December
2nd.
We
just
won't,
we,
you
know
not
to
the
extent
of
shortfalls,
and
you
know,
teachers.
Let's
see
student
access
to
special
Staffing
shortfalls
class
sizes,
separate
whether
it's
a
separate
or
a
dual
program.
I
Yeah
I,
don't
know,
but
I
know.
Our
time
is
up
so
just
know
that
we're
working
on
it
and
so
far
it
does
not
look
like
it'll,
be
ready
and
we
will
have
it
by
December
2nd.
If
that
should
change,
I
will
let
everybody
know,
that's
it
for
me,
but
I
think
that's
it.
For
me.
A
C
Yeah
I
do
I
just
want
to
put
this
in
front
of
the
committee.
I
would
like
to
I
want
to
recommend
that
we
include
our
committee
meetings
in
our
live
stream
access.
We
already
do
this
with
regular
session
and
work
session
and
our
special
work
sessions
so
I'd
like
to
have
the
committee
consider,
including
our
committee
meetings
in
that
process
as
well.
C
I,
think
it's
great
for
public
access
and
transparency,
and
so
what
that
would
mean
are
these
meetings
would
be
live
streamed
as
they
occur
instead
of
what
we
currently
have
is
a
recorded
process,
and
if
people
want
one
they
can
request
it.
My
recommendation
is:
is
that
we
include
the
committee
meetings
and
our
Rhythm
for
our
live
stream,
as
we
do
with
our
regular
meetings.
So.
C
A
H
A
Other
comments,
okay,
thank
you.
We
will
adjourn
and
let
Andy
take
over.
