B
Welcome
to
the
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools,
digest
bringing
you
news
about
the
people
and
programs
of
Anne
Arundel
County
Public
Schools
Anne,
a
a
CPS
awesome
collective
of
the
County's
best
young
inventive
minds
recently
displayed
their
stem
tastic
abilities
at
the
52nd
annual
Anne
Arundel
County,
Regional
Science
and
Engineering
Fair.
The.
C
Science,
fair
is
super
important
to
the
students
who
participate
in
it.
It's
an
opportunity
for
them
to
showcase
the
research
that
they've
done
in
science
and
engineering
and
they
do
amazingly
creative
and
innovative
projects.
We
take
our
top
winners
to
the
Intel
International
Science
and
Engineering
Fair,
where
they
compete
against
two
students
from
all
around
the
world.
It's.
D
B
The
three
students
will
receive
a
significant
financial
contribution
to
attend
the
International
Science
and
Engineering
Fair
in
May
in
Phoenix,
where
millions
of
dollars
in
prizes
are
awarded
more
than
two
hundred
students
representing
26
secondary
schools
from
across
the
county
were
recently
recognized
at
the
Anne
Arundel
County
Regional
History
Day
competition
focused
on
the
theme,
triumph
and
tragedy.
The
students
shared
their
historical
knowledge,
perspectives
and
research
in
various
categories
and
expressions
such
as
visual
exhibits,
performances,
websites,
documentaries
and
papers.

Were
to
win
National
History
Day.
That
would
mean
obviously
a
lot
to
me
and
a
lot
to
my
partner,
but
I
think
the
biggest
impact
it
would
have
on
me
was
to
know
that
Rankin
story
was
actually
told
and
heard,
and
people
know
about
her
and
that
we're
serving
her
just
because
she's
made
such
an
impact
on
every
woman's
future.
Every
woman
in
21st
century's
future,
and
it's
so
important
that
we
each
know
about
her.
We
need
to
know
where
we
come
from
and
that
that
would
mean
so
much
44.
B
Students
will
advance
to
the
state
level
of
the
competition
which
will
be
held
in
May,
followed
by
the
national
competition
in
June.
Some
central
elementary
school
students
were
also
recently
rewarded
for
their
hard
work
in
a
unique
way,
with
an
incentive
to
get
to
shove
pies
in
their
principal's
face
scores
of
students
excelled
in
achieving
math
milestones,
so.
G
We're
here
to
celebrate
our
third
fourth
and
fifth
graders,
who
have
completed
their
very
important
facts
in
the
program
first
amount,
so
we
set
out
a
challenge
for
them:
two
pi
mr.
grubo,
on
pi
day.
If
they
completed
their
addition
and
subtraction
very
important
facts.
Some
of
them
have
gone
further
and
done
a
multiplication
and
division
and
we're
here
to
celebrate
them
and
take
a
PI
on
pi
day.
Other.
B
School
administrators
and
teachers
got
in
on
the
fun
and
all
of
the
excitement
unfolded
on
March
14th,
of
course,
hi
des
in
a
fun
and
engaging
display
of
new
learning
opportunities
for
students,
members
of
the
Board
of
Education
and
the
a
a
CPS
executive
team
shared
in
an
event
highlighting
the
new
unified
physical
education,
dance
and
leadership
courses.
It's.
H
Amazing
just
getting
to
know
all
these
students
getting
to
do
these
activities
and
getting
to
know
what
the
curriculum
is
really
like.
And
the
importance
of
this
program
really
is
to
make
sure
that
all
means
all
in
our
County
and
that
we're
providing
services
to
all
the
students
and
making
sure
that
we're,
including
everybody
and
excelling
everybody
in
the
right
way
through.
I
J
Hope
is
that
this
program
will
be
seen
in
all
12
of
our
high
schools
so
that
our
ACC
students
in
our
and
our
general
population
students
have
the
opportunity
to
work
together
in
a
collaborative
and
safe
environment,
and
they
do
that
all
throughout
the
day.
But
this
is
really
an
opportunity
for
our
students
to
work
on
advocacy
leadership,
communication,
creativity
all
together
with
a
structured
curriculum
in
place.
Patrick.
K
B
I
Are
the
key
to
everything
we
strive
to
achieve
as
a
school
system
and
I'm
inspired
and
uplifted
when
I
see
this
amazing
group
of
educators
who
have
put
in
years
of
extra
work
and
contemplation
and
study
in
order
to
become
the
best
educators,
they
can
be.
Your
dedication
to
your
craft
and
to
your
students
makes
our
entire
school
system
stronger,
Anne.
B
B
A
process
that
can
take
up
to
three
years,
Anne
Arundel's
2018-19
class,
successfully
completed
rigorous
assessments
with
the
assistance
of
a
professional
development
program
offered
by
the
school
system
about
eighty-three.
More
educators
are
seeking
to
earn
national
board
certified
status
over
the
next
two
years
for
the
seventh
consecutive
year
and
ninth
time.
Overall,
the
annual
Randall
County
Public
Schools
purchasing
office
has
once
again
been
recognized
among
the
nation's
elite
in
its
commitment
to
sound
business
practices
by
earning
the
2018
achievement
of
excellence
and
procurement
award,
one.
B
M
A
third
party
validate
what
we
do.
We
have
such
wonderful
support
from
dr.
Otto
and
from
Alec
Schack,
Nova,
chin
and
Matt
stansky,
but
having
that
that
third
party
of
experts
validate
what
we
do
every
day
is
definitely
a
source
of
pride
and
we
strive
every
year
to
try
to
do
a
little
bit
better
and
be
be
worthy
of
those
that
Awards
so
I
think
that's
why
it
means
so
much
to
us
it
kind
of
validates
what
we
do.
The
work
we
do
day
in
and
day
out
every
day.
Thank.

Cafe

Maryland

is
a
collaborative
venture
between

The

students
of
the

sound,
not
only
prepare
the
wonderful
food
items
they
also
manage
and
staff
the
cafe
patrons
may
enjoy
a
treat
for
a
cup
of
coffee,
while
also
enjoying
exhibits
and
performances
from
artists
in
the
AAA
cps

and

This

students
who
attend
one

One

Both

When
a
school
bus
stops
to
load
students
as
a
driver,
this
is
what
you
will
see
at
150
feet.
The
bus
will
activate
hazard
lights
at
a
hundred
feet.
The
bus
driver
will
activate
the
amber
lights.
They
will
start
slowing
down
at
ten
feet
before
the
bus
stops.
They
will
turn
on
the
red
bus
lights.
There
stop
sign
will
come
out
and
students
will
begin
to
load
once
all
students
are
on
board
safely.
The
bus
driver
will
turn
off
red
lights
and
move
forward
at
this
time.
It
is
safe
for
the
motorists
to
resume
movement.
