B
Year,
the
culture
Anapolis
Middle
School
is
really
a
place
you
want
to
be.
We
work
really
hard
to
make
sure
all
of
our
kids
feel
seen
heard,
loved
and
valued
I'm.
Our
staff
is
very
connected
not
only
to
each
other
but
to
our
community
they're
actual
literal
rock
stars,
and
they
are
the
foundation
of
all
that
we
do
so.
Napis
middle
is
definitely
a
place.
You
want
to
be
where
kids
are
loved,
seen
heard
valued
and
our
staff
really
works
hard
together
to
help
our
students
in
our
school
Thrive.
D
The
culture
of
Annapolis
Middle
school
is
very
community-
based.
We
are
also
very
student
centered
we
bring
the
community
into
our
school.
We
also
offer
some
support
outside
of
our
school
within
the
community.
We
love
our
students,
like
our
family.
We
are
one
big
family
here
in
Annapolis,
Middle
staff
and
students
and
everyone
that
comes
in
contact
with
our
students.
We
embrace
them
as
a
family.
E
Member,
so
the
biggest
task
to
prepare
for
the
school
year
is
really
scheduling
all
summer
long.
We're
building
schedules
goes
from
making
sure
that
students
have
their
IB
requirements
to
their
PE
classes
and
then
the
classes
that
they
really
enjoy
so
we're
here
all
summer,
making
sure
that
kids
are
ready
to
go
on
day
one
when
they
come
back
in
the
building.
The.
C
Biggest
task,
we're
planning
for
the
next
school
year
is
always
from
the
counseling
perspective,
is
getting
those
schedules
together,
making
sure
that
our
new
families
that
have
enrolled
have
been
able
to
speak
with
the
counselor
and
know
what
course
options
are
available,
so
we'll
be
ready
to
roll
for
the
new
upcoming
school
year.
D
One
of
the
B
biggest
tasks
to
plan
for
with
a
new
school
year
coming
is
picking
the
perfect
people
for
your
staff.
One
of
the
biggest
tasks
I
have
is
interviewing
and
making
sure
those
new
candidates
or
those
new
employees
love
our
students
just
as
much
as
we
do
that
are
already
here.
It
takes
a
really
special
person
to
work
at
Annapolis
Middle
and
become
part
of
our
family.
B
I
think
the
biggest
task
is
really
making
sure
that
we
are
providing
opportunities
to
kids
every
single
day
to
help
them
grow,
so,
whether
it's
scheduling
making
sure
students
are
in
the
right
classes,
where
they're
going
to
be
challenged
all
year.
Looking
at
our
programming
making
sure
that
we're
providing
opportunities
and
access
to
all
of
our
students
I
think
that's
the
biggest
challenge
every
summer
is.
B
F
Biggest
task
for
planning
the
clean
school
for
the
summer
getting
ready
for
the
new
school
year.
We
have
two
levels
at
Anapolis
middle
school,
so
we
always
start
upstairs.
We
work
our
way.
F
B
Floors
so
getting
the
build
right
can
be
a
lot
of
little
things.
We
look
at
things
like
the
flow
of
the
building.
How
will
kids
transition
throughout
classes
are
there
different
things
that
we
need
to
create?
Maybe
in
the
hallway
to
kind
of
create
some
stations
or
spaces
where
kids
can
interact
with
staff,
but
also
be
very
purposeful
about
getting
the
flow
of
the
building
going?
Looking
at
Rooms
details,
what
teachers
really
want
is
they're
thinking
about
welcoming
back
and
so
really
kind
of
making
sure
we
go
through
each
room.
B
Each
space
and
kind
of
check
in
the
small
details
to
make
sure
our
school
day
flows
the
way
that
it
should
every.
D
Day
it
takes
a
lot
to
get
a
building
ready
for
students
to
come
in.
There
are
so
many
different
parts
of
doing
that,
whether
it
be
working
with
custodians
making
sure
the
school
is
clean
and
prepared
for
students
or
whether
it
be
assigning
teachers,
new
rooms
or
having
new
teachers
come
in
and
check
out
the
space.
D
D
Staff,
making
students
and
families
feel
safe
and
welcome
is
a
number
one
priority
for
us.
At
Annapolis,
Middle
School
every
day,
I
remind
students
about
safety
and
ensure
safety.
We
like
our
students
to
understand
that
they
need
to
feel
safe
and
loved
and
heard
so
they're
more
open
to
telling
us
what's
going
on,
so
we
can
ensure
that
safety.
We
also
welcome
our
families
into
the
building
and
welcome
our
students
in
with
open
arms,
because
we
are
our
family
here
at
Annapolis
Middle
School,
in
order
to
make
students.
E
C
The
way
we
make
students
feel
safe
and
welcome
here
at
Anapolis
middle
is
by
our
programs
that
we
have.
Some
of
our
programs
that
we
have
run
in
the
past
have
been
destination.
Hope
night,
where
we
give
some
of
our
parents
a
preview
of
what
they
can
look
forward
to
as
their
child
matriculate
through
aacps.
B
So
making
students,
families
and
our
commity
Community
feeli
welcome
is
Paramount
that
that
really
is
one
of
our
key
responsibilities.
I'm
super
excited
this
year
because
we'll
be
a
community
school
and
so
a
lot
of
additional
resources
and
Partnerships
that
we'll
be
able
to
create
to
continue
to
create
that
welcoming
and
supportive
environment.
It's
about
listening
to
people
always
wearing
a
smile
and
really
looking
at
what
can
I
do
to
continue
to
help
and
serve
my
school,
my
students
and
my
community.
C
E
Working
with
our
Community
Partners
is
one
of
the
most
important
parts
of
our
job
being
able
to
work
with
the
community,
make
sure
that
we
know
that
our
kids
are
safe
here
in
school
and
also
outside
in
the
community
as
well.
So
we
really
love
to
work
together
and
make
sure
that
kids
know
that
they
can
be
great
here
and
out.
There.
D
So
Annapolis
Middle
School
is
becoming
a
community
school
this
year,
so
having
Community
Partnerships
is
critical.
We
here
at
Annapolis
want
to
service
our
students
not
only
in
the
building
but
also
in
the
community.
It
would
be
great
if
we
had
more
opportunities
for
more
medical
assistance.
Dental
assistance,
Child
Care,
helping
amilies,
find
jobs
and
finances
out
in
our
community
because
we
want
to
wrap
our
arms
around
students
in
the
community
as
well
as.
B
The
school,
so
there
are
tons
of
opportunities
for
Community
Partnerships,
whether
that
is
through
mentoring,
students,
tutoring,
providing
academic
support
and
services
and
really
creating
reciprocal
relationships
with
a
lot
of
the
businesses
in
our
surrounding
areas.
So
whether
that
is
businesses
helping
here
us
here
at
school,
our
teachers
and
students,
but
also
looking
at
how
we
can
continue
to
serve
our
community
as
well,
we're
really
looking
to
grow
in
that
area.
B
So,
if
you're
interested
please
reach
out-
and
let
us
know,
but
the
opportunities
for
communion
business
Partnerships
are
huge
and
we
are
super
excited
to
continue
to
grow
in
that.
C

D
Students,
so
a
big
part
of
my
responsibilities
as
an
assistant
principal
is
getting
teachers
prepared
for
students
that
goes
with
their
schedules
for
the
year,
their
case
loads
for
the
special
Educators
that
we
have
and
their
rosters
as
well,
making
sure
that
they're
ready
to
go
understanding
their
students,
knowing
student
names,
so
they're,
prepared
to
teach.
And
then
our
students
will
be
more
prepared
for
learning.
