Hispanic
community,
Diana
Rivera,
speaks

you

our
community.

announce
the
current
and
upcoming
virtual
and
in-person
events
that
we
will
have
in
the
public.
Schools

the
County
of

adopted
the
new
aacps
strategic
plan
that
charts
the
course
of
the
system
school
through
2013.
The
goal
of
this
strategic
plan
is
to
ensure
that
every
student
meets

exceeds
standards.

will
aim
to

students,

all
gaps.

each

their
primary
focus.

this
plan
was
implemented,
the
schedule
of
sessions
for
the
superintendent
of
schools,

study

been

Day.
Unity
Day
began
on
October
24,
2018,
when
schools
and
offices
across
our
county
came
together
to
celebrate
Unity
Day
2018,,
an
initiative
of
the
National
Bullying
Prevention
Center,
designed
to
visibly
showcase
a
commitment
to
fostering
acceptance
and
inclusion
and
eliminating
hate
and
bullying.

part
of
this
event,
the
National
Center
for
Bullying
Prevention
encouraged
participants
to
wear
orange
as
a
clear
indication
of
their
commitment
against
bullying
the
day
was
a
huge
success
with
our
schools
and
offices,
using
a
variety
of
different
creative
methods
to
convey
statements,

effort,
garnered
the
attention
of
the
National
Bullying
Prevention
Center,
and
the
efforts
of

ur
schools
were
shared
with
other
school
systems
across
the
country
interested
in
the
initiative.

work
to

every
day.
