our

we

to

just
put
it
in
my
ear.
Families
are
in
desperate
need
of
winter
coats.
Jackets,
hats
gloves
scarves
and
I
was
like
oh.

so
bay
area
is
our
mission
statement
is
making
passionate
followers
maturing
followers
of
jesus
from
here
to
the
nations.
We
love
the
nations.
We
have
global
partners
in,
I
believe
ten
ish
regions
of
the
world
we're
hoping
to
expand,
and
so
knowing
that
so
many
families
are
coming
from
some
of
the
countries
that
we
already
serve
and
are
present
in
it's
just
kind
of
warms
our
heart.

brothers
and
sisters.
These
are
our
neighbors,
even
if
they're
from
afar,
so
just
excited
to
welcome
them
in
provide
anything
that
we
can
to
help
them
adjust
to
this

this
county
new
way
of
life,

so
it

gets
us
really
excited
knowing
that
they're
coming
here
and
we
want
to
love
and
serve
them.

sure
it's
a

bit

a
shock
to

terms
of
the
kinds
of
items
that
you
collected.
I
think
you
mentioned
it
when
you
were
talking
so
hots
and
scarves
and
gloves
and
and
coats,
and
then
how
did?
How
did
you
said
you
reached
out
to
to
the
to
the
folks
in
the
church?
Did
people
just
bring
in
their
old
coats,
or
I
mean
how
did
that?
How
did
that
work
out.

So
I
made
the
executive
decision
that
I
would
like
new
items
I
didn't
want
used
because
sometimes
that's
hit
or
miss,
even
if
you
say
gently
use,
sometimes
people
bring
in
things
that
I
wouldn't
necessarily
think
is
gently
used,
and
so
I
just
made
the
executive
decision
to
say:
hey
new
items.
I
know
a
lot
of
things
are
on
sale
right
now,
especially
walmart
amazon.

I
gave
them
a
specific
drop-off
date
so
that
they
could
drop
it
off
at
the
church
and
then
I
would
be
the
person
to
box
everything
up
and
then
deliver
it
to
the
international
welcome
center,
just
so
that
there
isn't
an
overwhelming
amount
of
people,
not
knowing
the
area
the
space,
and
I
would
the
sole
point
person
just
as
a
coordinating
way
to
go
way
to
go
about
it.
So
I
just
kind
of
was
the
boss,
lady
telling
people
what
to
do.

The
list
and
the
set
date
for
them
to
drop
off
the
specific
location
at
bay
area
makes
it
so
easy
to
coordinate
that
and
then
I'm
able
to
go
and
make
an
appointment
and
say:
hey,
get
stoned,
hey,
I'm
coming,
here's
the
amount
of
boxes,
I'm
bringing
is
this
convenient
for
you
and
your
team,
and
then
it's
just
easy
as
x,
y
and
z
and
they're,
always
so
gracious
and
kind
over
there.
So.

I
knew
they
were
well,
he
he
was
talking
about
it
at
a
meeting,
so
he
was
very
pleased.
So
in
terms
of
you,
you
said
that
you've
collected
so
much
and
taken
boxes
over
and
then
you
may
take
more
as
as
needed.
So
how
many?
How
many
folks
do
you
think
you
probably
served?
I
mean
it's,
okay,
if
you
don't
know,
but
do
you
have
any
sense
of
that.

Let
me
think
that
through,
oh,
don't
worry,
sometimes
the
boxes
when
I
know
they're
new,
I
haven't
really
opened
and
looked
through
them.
I
think
in
the
last
couple
weeks,
maybe
we've
done
in
between
30
and
50.
We
hope
to
do
more
in
the
coming
weeks.
It's
like
a
trickle.
It's
a
trickle
right
now
right
and
I
also
don't
want
to
overwhelm
the
small
center
with
a
tremendous
amount
of
goods
just
considering
they're
in
kind
of
a
confined
tight
space.

what's
awesome
about
it
is
that
you
have
a
connection
with
him.
So
this
is
not
just
a
one
and
done
kind
of
thing
he
can
reach
out
to
you
when
he
sees
the
need
and
not
get
overwhelmed
and
not
get
more
than
he
really
needs,
but
to
get
the
right
amount-
and
I
I
know
from
from
some
of
my
work-
that's
really
important
and
that's
what's
important
about
us
having
having
partners
in
the
community.

The
school
system
really
values
that
and
we
try
to
try
our
best
to
promote
it
right.
So
so,
on
that
note,
what
advice
would
you
give,
because
I
know
that
there's
other
groups
that
that
want
to
be
able
to
help
support,
especially
right
now
so-
and
I
think,
you've
sort
of
touched
on
this
with
what
you've
said.

So
as
a
friendly
neighbor,
somebody
who
lives
in
east
port
sure
I
work
for
bay
area
and
my
role
is
community
outreach.
But
I
also
have
a
heart
for
this
aside
from
my
role
there-
and
this
has
been
more
of
a
personal
journey
in
many
ways
on
how
to
be
more
integrated
into
my
city
into
my
community
into
my
neighborhoods
and
what.

Is
my
first
step
in
my
first
word
of
advice
would
be
to
have
your
eyes
open
and
to
really
observe
and
see
immediate
needs
that
might
be
super
close
to
you.
Some
people
think
that
they
need
to
drive
to
a
specific
area
and
get
connected
with
a
non-profit
they've
heard
of,
and,
to
be
honest,
that's
fantastic!
I'm
not
saying
don't
do
that,
but
if
you
really
want
to
be
more
integrated,
I
would
say:
first
drive,
observe
and
have
your
eyes
wide,
open
and
really
process
and
think
what
am
I
seeing?

Once
you
start
observing,
take
those
questions
that
you
might
have
in
your
head
or
ideas
and
take
them
to
local
government,
find
people
in
the
public
school
system
like
yourself
and
get
stoned
and
ask
questions,
and
sometimes
what
you'll
find
is
you
might
have
this
heart
for
something
or
an
idea,
but
you'll
see
that
maybe
the
need
is
different
than
what
you
anticipated
and
then
from
there
you're
able,
if
you're,
flexible
and
open
and
asking
great
questions
like
hey.
What's
going
on
here?
How
can
I
serve?

Part
that
I
was
able
to
network
and
find
gaston
in
this
very
natural
and
organic
way.

friendship
has
formed.
So
yes,
we're
two
we're
representing
two
organizations
and
we're
partnering,
but
we
also
have
this
relationship
and
friendship
where
it
makes
things
easier
and
smoother
so
that
we
can
actually
come
together
to
have
an
impact,
and
it
doesn't
have
to
be
super
formal
because
we're
friends
and
that's
not
always
the
case,
but
I
find
it
when
we're
collaborating
and
we
have
the
same
mindset.
It's
where
great
things
happen.

ways

he
supports
our
students.

county

truly
truly
lucky
because
we
have
so
many
great
partners.
So
it's
always
great
great
to
be
able
to
to
talk
to
you
and
and
sort
of
get
the
word
out
about
what
kind
of
needs
are
out
there
and
also
if
people
are
looking
for
help
as
well.
So
I
thought
we'd
get
started
by
just
sort
of
talking
about
how
you
got
started
in
this
business.

Well,
basically,
it
started
22
years
ago
and
we
weren't
not
non-profit
at
first,
we
were
just
more
of
a
charity
that
reached
out
to
the
appalachian
region
and
then
my
wife
and
I
started.
We
were
teaching
at
that
time
also
in
the
county
school
system,
and
we
saw
right
before
us
some
of
the
needs
of
the
children
and
also
eventually
their
the
the
need
by
their
parents
to
do
things.
So
we
started
in
our
home
and
soon
out
grew
that
and
then
we
went
to
one
warehouse
which
was
very
small.

Then
we
went
to
another
warehouse
and
then
we
actually
lost
our
space
at
one
time
and
worked
out
of
sea
containers
and
garages
of
homes
and
stuff,
whatever
a
back
of
a
barber
shop,
just
whatever
it
took
to
keep
us
going.
Finally,
in
2004
we
became
a
501c3
nonprofit
and
for
the
first
seven
or
eight
years,
basically
we
were
an
all-volunteer
organization.

Now,
having
moved
from
our
home
into
our
current
warehouse,
which
is
over
fourteen
thousand
square
feet,
I
think
the
dynamics
have
had
to
change.
As
far
as
we
need
staff
you,
we
can't
do
what
we're
doing
just
with
volunteers,
although
we
do
have
almost
120
volunteers.
Currently
that
assist
so
we're
located
in
glen
burnie
off
of
ritchie
highway.

is
tuesday
wednesdays

are
doing
more
administrative
stuff
and
also
working
in
the
warehouse
to
get
the
orders
and
stuff
ready
to
go
out
to
families.

We
also
help
with
the
lighthouse,
shelter
and
the
list
just
goes
on:
department
of
aging
department,
mental
health
veterans
and
then
there's
also
a
group
of
churches
that
also-
and
they
refer
clients
to
us
who
are
very
much
struggling
to
meet
the
basic
necessities
from
day
to
day,
and
so
it
takes
a
lot
of
donations
to
keep
this
going.
Last
year,
I
was
always
sharing
a
few
with
you
earlier.

Know
I'm
glad
you
brought
that
up,
because
we
were
talking
about
that
before
so
and-
and
you
spoke
to
why
that
was
important,
and
I
know
in
my
own
because
I
have
students
that
at
first
we
were
like
oh
well,
we
could
use
the
table,
but
sometimes
that
doesn't
always
work.
And
so
you
were
saying
I
guess
that
you
had
given
some
desks
out
correct.

Well,
that's
what
I
was
thinking
yeah,
we're
all
thinking.
Well,
we
want
to
have
somebody
off
the
table,
but
it
could
be.
They
don't
even
have
one,
and
I
mean
it's
also
important
for
kids
to
have
that
sort
of
I
mean
I
think
many
of
us
are
struggling
with
having
that
space
to
work
on
our
own
independently.
So
it
also
adds
to
that.
Hopefully,.

Yeah-
and
you
know
so
many
of
the
homes
that
we
go
into
they're
bare
people
on
the
floor.
Babies
need
diapers,
kids
need
clothing,
they
need
winter
jackets.
So
the
big
thing
with
the
clothing
is
to
stick
to
those
items
and
again
to
make
sure
they're
very
clean.
Unfortunately,
that
is
not
always
the
case
when
we
get
them
and
it
takes
a
lot
of
time.

know
to
go
through
the
bag,
because
everything
is
sorted
by
size
and
then
it's
resorted
again
to
make
sure
we
got
the
stuff.
That's
the
best.
We
don't
give
out
anything,
that's
not
anything
that
I
wouldn't
wear,
I'm
not
certainly
going
to
give
it
to
another
family.
That's
not
the
way
to
do
it.
Well,.

And
I
think
that
that
fits
with
some
of
what
what
we
had
talked
about
with
with
hope
and-
and
you
talked
about
how,
when
you
give
to
a
family
a
lot
of
times,
you
might
give
a
toy
or
or
something
like
that
or
a
card,
because
this
is
more
than
just
here's
the
necessities
but
you're
trying
to
bring
sort
of
that.
That
sense
of
hope
to
the
kids.

To
families
and
of
course,
the
other
things
that,
like
I
would
go
through
real
quickly
would
be
you
know
it's
basically
like
I
said
about
the
basic
furniture,
no
china
cabinets,
no
big,
entertainment,
centers
families.
Don't
have
the
room
for
these,
but
it's
also
kitchen
supplies
dishes,
plates
pots,
pens,
linens,
towels,
blankets,
comforters,
the
clothing
we
mentioned.
We
also
when
we
serve
a
family
with
all
of
these
items,
especially
the
clothing
for
the
kids.

Sure
over
the
years,
in
fact,
probably
for
about
the
last
eight
years,
we
have
done
a
program
with
the
national
society
of
military
comptrollers
at
fort
meade
and
they
actually
put
on
a
christmas
party
for
us
and
usually
there
we
invite
up
to
25
families
and
up
to
75
to
100
kids
and
they
basically
came
to
us
and
we
thought
of
the
schools.
And
so
it's
been
a
partnership.
That's
been
going
on,
like
I
said
now
for
about
eight
years.

other
thing
was
two
that
we've
had.
Even
the
schools
have
have
have
tried
to
help.
Give
back
by
one
of
the
schools
did
a
collection
of
toiletry
items,
cleaning
supplies
and
they
also
did
a
penny
wars,
and
they
did
that
for
a
couple
years
and
then
severna
park
high
school
last
year
did
their
theatrical
and
chose
hope
as
their
nonprofit,
and
they
were
able
to
donate
money
to
us
to
help
us
keep
going
with
what
we're
doing.

it's
a
learning
process
as
well.

having
others
help,

I
think
that
busy

understand

just
want
our
viewers

understand

the
process,
how
you,

you
find
out
about
families
in
need,
especially
families
that
that
have
students
with
anne
arundel,
how
you
find
out
about
them
and
then
what
happens
after
you
find
out
that
they
need
help.
What
does
that
look
like
well.

We
partnered
with
26
different
agencies,
and
one
of
them
happens
to
be
the
anne
arundel
county
school
system,
so
these
are
non-profits
as
well
as
government
agencies,
so
when
they
in
the
course
of
them
doing
their
work,
come
across
a
family.
That's
in
need
now,
as
far
as
the
school
system,
that
would
be
the
ppw
workers,
the
counselors,
those
that
are
working
directly
with
the
students.
They
find
a
family,
that's
in
need
of
clothing,
and
so
then
they
fill
out
a
referral.

Very
much
so
it's
our
intake
process,
it's
a
seven
page
form
that
under
intake
people
have
to
fill
out
so
now
they're
doing
it
by
phone.
So
it's
still
happening
and
then
families
are
still
being
served.
So
they
once
that
referral
and
then
the
intake
packet
come
back
in
here
then
we
have
volunteers
and
employees
that
are
sorting
through
donations
that
are
coming
from
the
community
in
our
warehouse
and
they're,
making
sure
that
everything
is
clean
and
they're
sizing
it
and
putting
it
away.

So
when
we
get
a
family,
then
we
can
then
immediately
fill
the
order.
So
the
clothing
is
packed
the
house
everything
they
need,
the
pots,
the
pans,
the
dishes,
whatever
it
is,
it's
packed
up
individually
for
them
what
they've
requested,
what
they
have
space
for.
So
sometimes
it's
good
that
they
can
pick
and
choose
what
they
want
and
then
the
furniture
is
loaded
and
then
it's
delivered
to
them.
A
lot
of
our
families
do
not
have
transportation.

Men,
I
tell
you,
I've
met
so
many
families,
but
it's
always
usually
the
ones
that
are
the
single
moms
and
sometimes
it's
that
that
they're,
because
of
a
loss
of
the
death
of
their
their
husband
or
whatever,
that
and
they're
with
their
kids
and
they're
just
struggling.
They
just
don't
know
where
to
turn
what
to
do,
and
just
some
of
those
moms
just
just
I
just
can't.

imagine
myself
trying
to
raise
my
children
without
my
husband
or
anyone
else,
helping
and
so
to
be
able
to
come
around
them
and
love
them,
and
let
them
know
that
the
community
cares
and
that
all
these
things
that
we're
bringing
are
because
the
community
has
responded
to
our
call
and
that
they
want
to
take
care
of
her.
And
so
I
just
love.
I
just
love
our
single
moms
and
and
of
course,
the
little
kids
run
around.

In
terms
of,
if
there's
anything
sort
of
that
as
we
wrap
up
the
you
really
want
people
to
know
about
now,
I
mean
part
of
the
reason
that
I'm
that
I'm
doing
this
series
is
because
I
want
people
to
know
how
they
can
help,
because
I
know
we
have
so
many
people
that
are
looking
for
ways.
So
is
how
is
it
different
and
and
is
there?

That's
just
been
part
of
what
we
did
you're
moving
into
a
new
place,
or
you
know
we
just
have
always
provided
that,
but
with
the
pandemic,
it's
brought
to
light
that
how
essential
that
is,
because
now
people
are
quarantined
in
their
home,
we're
saying
clean
your
home.
You
know,
make
sure
everybody's
worse
in
their
hands.
Well,
if
you're
on
food
stamps,
that's
a
luxury,
any
cleaning
product,
any
paper,
towels,
that's
a
luxury
that
you
can't
buy
it
with
your.

So
so,
when
they,
when
we
used
to
go
with
the
basket,
I
hope
you
know
we
were
doing
them.
You
know
something
that
it
would
be
an
extra
for
them
and
so
by
us
providing
so
what
what
is
brought
to
light
is
it's
not
just
our
families
that
need
it?
It's
you
know.
Everyone
needs
that,
and
even
the
county
asked
us
to
to
start
getting
boxes
together.
Of
that
to
through
cares
money
to
help
families
that
were
going
to
the
pantries
to
get
food.

Well,
then
they
needed
the
cleaning
because
they're
they
were
home
quarantining.
We
wanted
them
to
be
safe,
we
wanted
to
be
healthy,
and
so
that's
kind
of
something.
That's
come
out
of
all
this
that
you
know,
and
I
just
wish
that
people
understood
the
breadth
of
it.
You
know,
since
I
started
volunteering
at
hope
over
10
years
ago,
we
we're
serving
four
times
as
many
families
as
we
ever
you
know,
and
and
every
year
you
think.
Well,
you
know
you
know
we
did
a
lot
of
families.
You
know
we
almost
did
400.

items
that
that
you
would
think
when

when
you
moved
into
your
house,
what
did
you
need
think
about
that
truck
that
came
behind
you?
Well,
that's
what
we
do
well.
We
almost
did

times.
Last
year
we
delivered
a
truckload
to
a
family
and
said
you
know
this
is
this
is
to
help
you.
This
is
to
help
you
become
self-sufficient,
but
we
understand
that
you
don't
have
the
ex
extra
money
right
now
to
buy
all
this.
So
like
this,
the.

To
think
of
it
yeah,
so
we
really
say
we
take
everything,
so
you
don't
have
to
think
about.
Do
they
take
it.
Do
they
not?
We
just
take
everything
and
if,
if
it's
a
basic
item
it
always
goes
to
the
families,
there's
no
fans
or
buts
on
that.
If
it
is
a
luxury
right
or
a
week
like
a
knick-knack
or
something
like
then
yeah,
we
sell
that
in
our
yard,
sale
and
so
we
can
buy.
We
always
provide
new
socks.

Okay,
we
are
celebrating
in
2021
our
15th
year
as
a
chapter
of
national
assistance.
League
national
assistance
league
has
something
like
120
000
members
120.
Some
chapters
across
the
united
states
we're
the
only
one
in
maryland
and
we're
all
volunteer,
and
we
work
off
of
programs
that
national
starts,
but
then
we
adapt
them
to
the
local
community
and
we
have
five
main
programs.
One
is
can,
which
is
uniforms
that
we
provide
new
uniforms
to
students
at
seven
local
title,
one
schools.

We
also
help
in
the
classroom
where
the
teachers
need
us.
We
do
a
stork's
nest,
baby
shower
for
baltimore
washington,
medical
center.
We
do
sing-alongs
for
seniors
at
assisted
living
and
nursing
homes,
and
we
do
these
puppet
shows
about
anti-bullying
and
with
an
inclusion
message
for
second
graders
throughout
the
county.
But
of
course
the
sing-alongs
and
the
the
puppet
shows
we've
had
to
put
on
hiatus
during
the
pandemic.
Right.

and
so
our
focus
right
now
has
been
on
on
I've,
been
talking
to
different
kinds
of
partners,
but
just
on
on
how
we
make
sure
that
our
students
have
everything
that
they
need
to
be
ready
for
for
the
classroom.
I
wanted
to
ask
you
a
little
bit
about
that
in
terms
of
I
think
exactly.
I
think
you
talked
about
school
uniforms
as
one
of
the
pieces.
So
can
you
tell
us
a
little
bit
more
about
what?
What
does
that?
What
does
that
look?
Like
I
mean,
is
it?

Then
we
have
a
big
day
at
our
warehouse.
Actually,
it's
not
our
warehouse.
It's
in
around
the
anne
arundel
county
public
schools
warehouse.
They
lend
us
some
space
and
we
go
out
there
and
we
sort
through
and
then
put
each
kid's
uniform
in
a
bag
with
their
name
and
their
teacher
on
it.
And
then
the
county
is
nice
enough,
then,
to
bring
the
big
hall
of
all
the
bags
of
uniforms
directly
to
the
school.
For
us.

they
know-
and
this
is
these
are
schools
that
have
uniforms-
they
know
exactly
what
that
uniform
is
supposed
to
look
like
right
and
then
I
want
to
make
sure
that
our
viewers
hear
this.
So
it's
in
addition
to
the
uniform
they're
also
getting
they
get
the
sweatshirt,
the
polish
pants
y'all.
We
know
they
fit
because
we've
measured
them,
which
is
right
and
we.

all

our
nature,
to
be
welcoming
and
happy
to
see
them
and
try
to
engage
them
and
then,
if
they
need
to,

needs
to
everybody's
the
same,
and
it's
a
very
fulfilling
morning.

already
purchasing

sorting
and
inventorying
every
part
of
the
uniform
package.

as
soon
as
we
get

word,
it
may
be
that
we
don't
get
to
measure

kids
in
person
and
that
would

completely
understandable

working

counselors
and
they
know
these
kids.

well,
so
we
can
say:
okay,
here's
so
many
mediums,
so
many
larges,
here's
some
packages
and
they'll
tell
us
what
they
need
and
then
we'll
just
give
it
to
them.

partnership

that

with
the
counselors
and
that
you

they

needs

all

what
it's

have

don't
know
that
all

counties
and
states
have
such
great
partners.

it's

appreciated.

that

we

people.

struck
by
it

year,
especially
that
reach
out
to
us
and

they
want
to
help
and
they
want
to
know
how
to
help
within
their
community

within

schools.

the

assistance

we
have
a
really
great
philanthropic,
chair,
yolanda
perry
and
she
contacted
each
school
principal
and
counselor
and
said
what
do
you
need
and
they
said
we
need
chromebook
computers
to
lend
to
families
who
have
more
than
one
child
at
school
and
may
have
to
be
learning
at
from
home
at
the
same
time,
and
she
said
they
need
one
school
said
they
need
pajamas
and
underwear
and
socks.
So
our
members
just
rallied
together
and
we
donated
chromebook
computers,
headsets
books,
t-shirts,
the
underwear
and
the
pajamas
to
each
school
as
they
asked
us.

But
didn't
have
at
home
and
and
then
one
of
our
members
cindy
culp,
just
just
looked
through
all
of
her
stash
of
items
and
started
collecting
clothing
and
household
items,
and
she
has
given
bags
and
bags
of
clothing
to
different
schools
to
hand
out
parents
and
families
come
for
the
food
bank
at
a
different
school
neighborhood
and
then
another
one
of
our
members.
Patti
muir
has
been
instrumental
in
getting
all
of
our
members
together
to
donate
food
to
the
food
bank
of
georgetown
east.

the

Somebody
like
you
in
your
position

great,
but
also
I

that
the
principles
have
gone
out
of
their

know

we

but
they
also
know
they
can

and

The
code
drive
came
to
mind
because
the
bywater
mutual
home
actually
was
starting
up
a
pantry.
We
found
that
a
lot
of
the
students
were
not
getting
a
lot
of
the
necessities
that
they
need.

lot
of
the
families
weren't
getting
a
lot
of
the
necessities
that
they
needed.
So
I
said
to
myself:
I
was
just
like
wow:
why
don't
we
start
a
pantry
or
something
you
know
to
get
it
going?

one
one
of
the
parents
actually
came
to
me
and
just
said
you
know
a
lot
of
kids
were.

noticed
that
we
were
getting

they
need
it
or
they
needed
coats.

I
started
actually
seeing
and

did

in

tune
with
a
lot

kids

out

or

want
to

is
with

we

working

the

connections

we

have
their

work
towards
getting
it

people's

with
the
unemployment
rates

were
going

world
right

We
just
noticed

lot
of
the
families
were
suffering
tremendously

lot.

with
the
pandemic
going
on

everything
like
that,
and
we
wanted
to
be
such
you
know,
of
help
some
in
some
sort
of
kind
of
way
out
here,
as
as
best
as
possible.

crazy
thing
is
is
that
when
apparently
first
started,
we
were
trying
to
figure
out
how
summer
camp
was
going
to
work,
and
me-
and
my
boss
came
up
with
this
crazy
idea
and
we
was
just
like
let's
do
summer
fun
boxes.
So
we
came
up
with
all
these
donations
from
the
city
of
annapolis,
people
that
worked
in
the
school
district,
and
we
came
up
with
all
these.
These
boxes
for
kids,
with
nothing
but
summer
fun
things
activities
that
they
could
just
do
at
home,
and
it
was
just
so
much
fun.

found
out
that
the
woodside
garden
kids
actually
got
that
and
they
were
like
super
excited.
They
got
water
like
water,
shoots
and
different
things
like
that,
and,
like
top
scotch
things
that
you
would
think
of,
that
was
done
when
we
were
younger.

hopscotch
and
chalk
on
the
ground
and
stuff
like
that,
just
to
have
fun.
You
know.

then
we
came
up
with
another
idea
when
it
was
school
time
called
the
reach
release,
which
was
a
big
day.
We
actually,
we
were
able
to
come
back
out
into
the
world
just
a
little
bit
and
have
it
over
at
bates
park,
and
it
was
called
reach
for
peace
day
and
cyber
book
bag
giveaway.
We
gave
away
500
book
bags.

They
were
donated
from
kid

and
different
people
in
the
community,
and
it
was
just
it
was
awesome.
We
had
vendors,
we
had
my
dance
team,
actually
identity,
dance
team
was
out
there
that
day
we
had
annapolis
dance
troupe

there.

just
so
much
fun.

the

come.

there
that

it
was

help

community
well
and

that
that
leads
me
to
my
last
question
for
you,
so
I
love
your
your
spirit
and
your
enthusiasm
for
this
kind
of
work,

I
know
that
there
are
other
people
out
there
that
that
are
looking
for
that
and
they
they
want
to
be
able
to
help
and
and
connect.

do
you
have
any
advice
for
people
that
say
hey
you
know
what
I
want
to
make
a
difference,
especially
for
these
kids.
What
what
would
you
say
to
them.

would
say
just
go
ahead
and
do
it.
You
know,
put
your
put
your
thoughts
on
some
paper
and
then
you
connect
with
the
right.
People
have
a
passion,
for
it
have
a
love,
for
it
know
that
you
know
that
it's
going
to
a
good
cause
know
that
it's
going
to
somebody
of
one
of
these
children
who
can
actually
benefit,
and
you
actually
might
make
a
difference
in
those
children's
lives.
Just
by
seeing
something
different.
You
know
yeah
right
now.

just
feel
like
a
lot
of
the
kids
need
to
see
a
difference.
You
know,
there's
been
so
much
of
the
the
the
downplay
of
what's
been
going
on
in
the
world.
We
need
to
show
them
a
difference
which
is
happiness
and
love
and
support,
and
just
just
giving
you
know
it's
not
just
the
time
of
giving
during
christmas
time-
and
I
I
I
reiterate
this
to
my
young
people.

know
we
can't
have
excuses
right
now
and,
and
they
are
to
recite
to
me
every
day
they
come
into
reach.
