If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
C
Let
you
know
what
what
I
will
do.
Alexa
I'll
go
down.
E
B
Okay,
I'm
trying
to
see
if
I
can
get
a
list,
should
I
just
go
down
the
order
that
I
see
the
names
Lynn
or
yes.
Yes,
that's
the
next
person
I
see
is
capricia
Jones.
I
Hi,
this
is
Hawaii
one
I
work
for
Arlington
I'm,
deputy
director
on
transportation
and
development.
K
A
good
evening,
Paul
Newman
I'm,
the
service
planner
for
the
art
system,.
B
A
J
B
All
right
in
the
interest
of
time,
I
have
a
number
that
ends
with
three
two.
B
All
right
I've
got
somebody
with
a
number
ending
with
two
four.
B
Right
and
I
have
a
of
a
number
ending
with
three
four
starting
with
a
seven
and
ending
with
three
four
hi
Karen
meelink,
okay,
good
to
see
you
all
right,
we've
got
starting
with
the
seven
and
ending
with
a
three
eight.
J
B
Hurt
if
that
person
is
not
going
to
introduce
themselves,
then
I
think
we
can
go
ahead
and
proceed
to
public
comment.
C
C
C
I
see
Roseanne
Ashby
thanks.
F
Lynn
shall
I
go
ahead,
go
right
ahead.
Okay,
I
really,
don't
have
a
lot
of
comments.
I
do
want
to
thank
you
all
for
having
this
meeting
we
haven't
met
since
September
and
I.
Think
a
lot
of
us
have
been
concerned.
We
know,
there's
probably
been
some
changes
and
some
announcements
that
you
all
need
to
make
because
I
know
you've
had
some
changes
in
personnel
and
we're
anxious
to
to
hear
about
those.
F
But
again,
you
know
just
kind
of
anxious
to
get
an
update
and
kind
of
hope
that
we
can
work
with
anyone
who's
new
in
a
productive
way
to
make
the
star
program
a
great
program.
Thank
you.
G
Hand
up
yes,
I
do
I
wanted
to
make
a
couple
of
comments
on
some
experiences
that
I've
had
with
some
rides
that
have
one
happen
in
November.
Actually,
two
of
these
happened
in
November.
They
have
since
been
corrected,
but
I
just
want
it
to
be
on
record.
Since
we
haven't
met
since
September,
there
were
some
trips
medical
rise
that
I
wasn't
aware
that
they
needed
to
be.
G
How
do
you
say
put
in
on
for
like
an
hour
before
you
have
your
actual
appointment,
regardless
of
where
it
would
be
so
on
this
particular
occasion,
I
had
a
medical
appointment
at
2800
charlington
road,
which
is
quite
well
quite
near
my
house,
I
mean
maybe
10
minutes
away
from
my
house,
and
it
I
had
to
schedule
it
an
hour
before
I
didn't
think
I
had
to
I
scheduled
it
half
an
hour
before,
and
I
wasn't
picked
up
until
oh,
maybe
10
minutes
after
my
appointment,
so
I
had
to
reschedule
that
appointment
and
I
was
charged
for
that
appointment,
which
is
difficult
when
you're.
G
You
know
on
a
limited,
a
bit
of
a
limited
budget
and
you
have
to
pay
for
a
doctor's
appointment
that
you
missed
from
through
no
fault
of
your
own
and
then
another
occasion
same
thing
happened.
They
apparently
I
found
out
later
the
the
driver
quit
as
he
was
assigned
for
that
pickup,
and
so
nobody
ever
came
until
once
again
15
minutes
after
my
doctor's
appointment
and
then
I'm
sorry,
a
third
incident,
apparently
Diamond
Transportation
was
the
one
that
was
picking
me
up
to
the
mall,
and
this
just
happened.
G
Oh
I'd
say
what
December
28th
right
about
December
28th
and
they
had
no
idea
that
when
you
pick
somebody
up
at
the
Pentagon
City
Mall
that
you
can
actually
go
in
to
the
into
like,
not
inside
the
mall
with
the
car,
obviously
that
you
cannot
do
but
inside
there's
a
drive
that
you
can
drive
around
right
near
the
driveway,
the
circle
of
the
Nordstrom
Mall.
That's
where
I
have
to
sign
my
pickup
and
I
can
see.
G
The
driver
had
stopped
first
at
Nordstrom
Rack,
which
is
right
across
the
street,
but
there
you
should
have
known.
G
You
know
the
difference
between
what
Nordstrom
looks
like
and
what
Nordstrom
Rack
looks
like,
and
then
he
kept
going
when
I
called
to
to
say
you
know
they're
not
here
yet
after
my
10
minute
window,
they
said
Oh,
but
you
know
we,
we
can
see
Nordstrom,
but
he
was
out
on
the
street
around
South
Joy
Street,
instead
of
in
the
circle
right
in
front
of
Nordstrom's,
and
this
was
all
because
we
needed
to
give
the
driver
more
training
when
I
got
into
the
cab.
G
The
driver
told
me-
and
he
showed
me
and
I-
couldn't
believe
this-
that
their
the
GPS
that
Diamond
had
given
him
was
sending
him
to
the
wrong
place
and
he
even
had
to
put
his
phone
on
Waze
and
Waze
told
him
exactly
how
to
get
there,
but
because
of
the
policy
that
diamond
has
it.
You
are
not
supposed
to
use
your
phone
while
you're
in
the
car.
He
was
not
able
to
follow
the
ways
and
he
he
may
have
made
it.
G
You
know
maybe
15
minutes
after
the
pickup,
but
no
I
had
to
wait
there
until
7
40.
When
my
pickup
was
they
all
right.
So
there
needs
to
be
something
done
about
this
I'm
sorry
to
complain,
but
this
is
not
good,
leaving
people
out
in
the
cold
waiting
around
for
so
long.
Thank
you.
B
Okay,
I
see
okay,
the
next
person
I
see
is
the
person
whose
number
ends
with
three
eight
foreign.
N
Yes,
I
would
like
to
speak
and
I
will
try
to
be
very
brief.
N
Okay,
this
is
I'm
going
to
use
one
example
of
something
related
to
the
Arlington
star,
but
I
know
it
happens
regularly
more
and
more
regularly,
and
this
goes
back
to
last
August
in
which
Red
Top
has
brought
me
to
Silver
Spring
Maryland
for
an
event.
I
of
course
live
in
Arlington
and
it
was
in
the
afternoon,
and
the
driver
even
told
me
for
my
pickup
at
night
that
it
might
be
difficult
and
sure
enough
around
8,
30
p.m,
contacting
the
star
I'm.
Sorry,
the
Red
Top
office
star
was
closed.
N
The
the
person
at
Red
Top
tried
to
get
a
driver
to
come
out
to
Silver
Spring
for
the
trip
home
and
she
called
me
back
a
little
after
9
30.
So
she
tried
for
over
an
hour
and.
M
N
N
I
I
noted
that
to
the
star
office
I
guess
it's
called
the
complaint
line
and
they
got
a
hold
of
red
top.
Who
responded?
Eventually,
he
basically
said
there
aren't
enough
drivers
and
they're
actively
recruiting
I
and
also
I
was
told
that
diamond
would
also
get
a
copy
of
the
complaint.
So
they'd
know
the
situation.
N
One
of
my
concerns
is
that
incident
may
have
only
been
received
by
the
people
here
on
the
in
the
transit
Bureau
as
a
cancellation,
and
it
was
only
canceled
because
redtop
could
not
fulfill
the
call.
So
it's
not
a
simple
cancellation
and
I,
don't
know
if
the
powers
would
be,
or
the
decision
makers
understand
that
this
is
the
type
of
unfortunate
situation.
It's
not
red,
Top's
fault.
They
don't
have
enough.
E
N
They
can't
fulfill
the
contract
and,
as
a
suggestion,
the
in
situations
like
this
when
a
driver
can't
be
found,
it
would
seem
to
me.
Stark
could
Implement
a
system
where
an
Uber
or
Lyft
can
be
executed
to
fulfill
the
call
that
the
providers
cannot
fill
and
I
just
want
to
put
that
on
record,
and
hopefully,
as
I
say,
the
decision
makers
will
get
that
information
and
act
accordingly.
Thank
you,
yeah.
M
M
Thank
you,
I'll,
be
very
brief.
It
was
hard
for
me
to
hear
a
lot
of
the
introductions
Lynn
introduced
herself
as
the
transit
bureau
chief,
if
you're
the
new
Dennis
leech
Lynn.
Congratulations
if
you're,
not,
maybe
you
can
explain
further
to
us
if
they're
a
regard
when
it
comes
to
Personnel
changes,
there
seems
to
be
a
lot
of
Arlington
County
folks
on
the
call
tonight
with
without
going
over
the
the
Personnel
list
again
or
the
the
participants,
maybe
Lynn.
M
B
B
E
It's
a
really
simple
one,
because
I
just
started
recently
writing
star
again.
I
had
stopped
because
of
the
pandemic.
For
so
long
I
was
just
worried
about
it
and
I'm
just
curious
about
the
mass
policy,
because
I
had
one
ride
where
it
was
a
shared
ride
and
the
other
person
wouldn't
wear
a
mask
and
I
know.
I've
been
told
that
CDC
is
recommending
with
our
numbers
that
they've
been
higher
than
they
had
big
foil,
that
we
wear
masks.
Is
there
any
policy
about
that
at
all.
B
I
actually
do
not
know
I
can
pull
up
the
writer
guide
right
now
and
see
if
there
was
anything
added
to
it.
Do
any
of
the
folks
on
staff
have
a
quick
answer
to
that.
One.
C
Yes,
I
can
respond
to
that.
So
we
do.
We
do
still
encourage
those
who
are
using
star
and
art
to
wear
their
masks
there.
It's
no
longer
mandatory,
but
we
do
highly
encourage
that
it
that
it
happens
and
in
most
instances
people
are
wearing
their
masks
and-
and
so
that
is,
that
is
our
policy.
C
And
Alexa
just
to
Circle
back
to
to
Joe's
question:
no
I
am
not
the
new
Dennis
Leach,
but
Hue
Huang,
who
introduced
herself
earlier,
is
our
new
deputy
director
of
transportation
and
development
she's
she's
sitting
in
she's
on
the
call
today,
and
so
we're
excited
to
have
her
here.
Wait.
Is
there
anything
that
you'd
like
to
say,
yeah.
I
Sure-
and
thank
you
for
inviting
me
to
this-
this
is
the
first
time
I'm
attending
this
subcommittee.
Meeting
I
did
attend
Transit
advisory
committee
meeting
in
the
past
and
I
am
not
a
stranger
to
this
group,
because
I
work
in
the
D.O.T
you
know
for
the
past
several
years
and
I
am
I,
was
more
on
the
traffic
management
side,
but
Ling
and
I
has
go
back.
We
work
together
on
a
lot
of
things,
coordinating
basically
Transit
and
other
Transportation
works.
I
So
thank
you
for
having
me
and
I
will
be
in
the
listening
mode
today
and
soaking
up
information.
C
Thank
you.
Thank
you
way,
all
right
and
Joe.
There
were
a
number.
There
are
a
number
of
other
staff
that
are
on
the
on
the
call
that
introduce
themselves
and
you'll
hear
from
you'll
hear
from
at
least
one
more
person
as
we
go
along
the
agenda,
but
we've
got
a
packed
agenda
so
Alexa.
If
you
wanted
to
to
move
forward
with
our
next
item,
so
we
can
get
into
just.
B
Just
a
absolute
last
call:
anybody
else
have
public
comment.
If
not,
we
can
move
on
to
the
approval
of
the
September
13th
minutes.
Do
I
have
a
motion
to
approve
those
minutes.
A
Oh
I
I
move
that
we
approve
the
the
September
Amendment
as
written.
This
is
Laura
McNeil.
H
B
D
Good
good
evening,
everyone
well
good
afternoon.
Actually
it's
earlier
than
I
thought
good
afternoon.
My
name
is
Christian
Blake
managing
director
of
access
services
at
wamata
means
I'm
responsible
for
the
metro,
access
service
and
I
was
invited
to
night
Conley
to
just
give
an
update
as
to
what's
what's
been
happening
with
Metro
access
lately
and
just
want
to
share
a
few
things
for
let's
share
a
few
things
with
you
all
about.
What's
been
going
on
with
Metro
access,
I,
don't
really
have
a
presentation.
D
D
So
the
first
most
noticeable
thing
would
be
that
Metro
access
is
now
providing
service
into
Loudoun
County.
That
is
in
correspondence
with
the
the
expansion
of
the
silver
line
of
Metro
Silver
Line
rail
service.
So
now
we
we
go
up
to
Loudoun
County,
including
the
airport
and
one
of
the
stop.
So
we've
added
four
stations.
All
together
the
service
in
Loudoun
County,
though,
is
restricted
to
no
more
than
three
quarters
of
a
mile
around
a
metro
station.
D
If
you're
traveling
to
other
parts
of
Loudoun
County,
then
that
para
Transit
service
and
paratran,
the
service
for
Loudoun
County
residents
is
being
provided
by
the
county
itself.
So
if
you
want
to
go,
let's
say
into
the
heart
of
Loudoun
County,
you
can
like
a
like
a
visitor
coming
from
New
York
using
metro
access
in
Washington
DC,
you
can
apply
for
visitor
status
and
the
Loudoun
County
paratrends
would
provide
you
service
to
other
parts
of
the
county.
D
That's
beyond
three
quarters
of
a
mile
of
the
Silver
Line
stations,
but
that's
our
newest
additional
aspect
of
the
metro,
access
service
area,
Loudoun,
County
and
I'll.
Just
go
through
these
and
I'll
answer
all
your
questions
at
the
end,
if
you
don't
mind
Madam
chair
the
second
thing:
we've
added
now,
this
has
been
a
little
more
than
a
year,
but
if
they're
still
relatively
new
to
some
customers,
because
some
customers
have
not
experienced
them,
but
we've
added
225,
Toyota
Camry
sedans
to
the
metro,
access
Fleet.
D
So
no
longer
are
we
just
using
Vans.
We
have
Toyota
Camry
they're
they're,
designed
to
give
you
the
more
Comfort
ride,
the
more
personal
vehicle
experience
that
one
would
have,
as
opposed
to
to
riding
in
a
van
that's
been
converted
for
Paratransit
service
and
many
customers
have
experienced
that
have,
of
course,
expressed
tremendous
satisfaction
with
them
and
enjoying
the
ride
some
ass
that
all
their
trips
be
in
sedans.
We
cannot
guarantee
that.
D
D
And
while
it's
not
on
the
agenda,
let
me
also
add
pretty
soon
you're
going
to
be
seeing
some
minivans,
so
we're
going
to
begin
phasing
out
the
larger
Ford
Transit
Vans
and
we're
going
to
be
introducing
wheelchair,
accessible
minivans
now.
The
purpose
of
this
is
much
like
with
the
Toyota
Camrys
Ford.
Transit
van
is
not
necessarily
built
as
a
passenger
van.
You
convert
it
to
a
passenger
van,
and
that
comes
with
some
shortcomings,
even
though
we've
tried
our
best
to
improve
the
comfort
of
the
ride
over
over
time.
D
We
still
hear
from
customers
about
the
discomfort
of
riding
in
a
Ford
Transit
vehicle.
Well,
the
minivans
are
built
as
passenger
vehicles
to
begin
with,
and
we're
going
to
be
slowly
rolling
them
into
the
fleet,
we'll
remove
a
row
of
seats
that
will
be
the
space
for
the
wheelchair
and
then
there'll
be
a
row
of
seats
in
the
back
for
ambulatory
customers
and
we're
hoping
that
the
same
level
of
satisfaction
that
customers
have
been
experiencing
with
the
sedans.
D
They
will
now
also
experience
with
the
minivans
as
we
begin
to
roll
those
out,
and
that
should
be
happening
over
the
next
couple
of
months.
Quite
frankly,
it's
been
a
long
situation
without
contract
and
Contracting
staff,
but
those
new
Vans
should
be
rolling
out
real,
soon
we're
going
to
start
with
23
and
then
we're
going
to
add
a
lot
more.
Let's
just
put
it
put
it
that
way,
and
the
third
thing
I
wanted
to
update
you
on
is
our
abilities
ride
program.
My
abilities,
right,
you
were
talking
about
star
abilities.
D
Ride
is
really
just
the
when
I
say
we
could
say
the
grandchild
of
star
or
the
or
the
child
of
star,
because
star
has
been
around
so
long
doing
such
a
great
job.
Metro
access
wanted
to
create
a
similar
type
of
service
or
option
for
customers.
We
did
so
in
Washington
DC
with
the
transport
DC
program,
which
is
a
lot
more
akin
to
the
star
program.
Abilities
ride
is
our
alternative.
D
If
and
by
enrolling
themselves
in
the
program
they're
saying
to
Metro
access,
you
do
not
mind
if
Metro
access
moves
one
or
more
of
your
Metro
access
trips
to
another
provider,
another
whole
service,
all
together
in
exchange
for
moving
your
trip.
Your
trip
is
at
a
discount
right
now
the
discount
is
free.
So
all
the
trips
on
abilities,
ride
right
now
are
free.
D
At
some
point
there
may
be
a
light
fare
charge,
not
life,
fair
food,
a
a
small
pair
that
you
would
pay
and
we'll
get
to
that
at
some
point,
once
we've
gotten
through
this
kind
of
pilot
period,
but
right
now,
all
trips
on
the
abilities
ride
program
are
free
and
the
way
it
works
is
customer
books.
Their
trip
on
metro
access,
like
normal
I've,
created
this
kind
of
computer
Lottery
system,
where
the
computer
then
selects
among
all
the
trips
that
are
for
the
next
day.
D
When
you
want
to
be
picked
up
with
the
taxis,
you
can
also
try
to
adjust
your
pickup
and
drop
off
times
as
well
and
the
way
so
again
you
enroll
in
the
program
the
computer
selects
the
trips
the
night
before
that
will
be
moved
and
on
the
Day
of
Service
kind
of
to
a
point
made
earlier
in
this
meeting.
D
If
your
trip
is
running
late
and
you
call
where's
my
ride
and
we
see
that
your
trip
is
either
projected
to
be
late
or
is
already
late,
because
you've
called
after
your
pickup
window
has
begun
in
the
van
or
sedan
is
nowhere
near
you,
you
have
the
option
to
say
to
Metro
access.
At
that
moment,
you
would
like
your
trip
to
be
moved
to
Uber,
and
we
will
do
that
as
well.
So
that's
the
other
part
of
the
abilities
ride,
there's
the
pre-booking
and
then
there's
the
Day
of
Service.
D
M
This
is
Joseph
to
Phillips
I
hope
you
remember
my
name.
My
friend
has
a
saying
when
he
goes
out
to
adonix
restaurant.
He
says
it's
phenomenal.
The
current
Metro
access
is
not
your
father's
or
mother's
Metro.
Access
I
want
to
commend
you
for
having
the
abilities
ride
program
not
because
of
the
cost,
but
because
of
the
flexibility
and
the
fact
that
you
can
go
anywhere.
You
want
in
a
timely
manner,
I'd
urge
you
to
talk
to
your
colleagues
at
Arlington
Transit.
M
D
Well
well,
I
appreciate
that
and
we're
trying
our
best.
We
we
have
our
challenges
as
well,
so
I
certainly
won't
we'll
we'll
make
it
seem
like
everything's
perfect
over
here.
We're
certainly
striving
for
Perfection,
but
now
I
appreciate
that
and
and
the
ability
to
ride
program
was
my
effort
to
try
to
bring
a
level
of
flexibility
to
the
customers,
but
also
a
great
deal
of
satisfaction
that
that's
why
we
did
it
and
we
we're
hoping
yes,
we
we
absolutely
plan
to
keep
it
going.
Thank
you.
B
So
a
quick
question
that
I
have
about
it:
Mr
Blake,
just
because
I
wasn't
I.
It
wasn't
quite
clear
to
me
so
someone
opts
into
this
program
and
when
they
do
they're
opting
into
the
possibility
of
any
of
their
trips
being
moved
onto
another
provider
or
they
get
called
and
told
hey.
B
We
would
like
to
move
this
trip
to
you
consent.
So
is
it
like
blanket
consent
for
any
provider.
D
You
certainly
can
state
that
and
the
reservationist
will
make
note
of
that
and
keep
your
trip
on
what
we
call
the
dedicated
Metro
access
service
and
if,
by
some
mistake
they
make
the
note,
but
somehow
they
still
sing
your
trip
to
Uber.
You
could
always
call
Metro
access,
say:
hey
I,
told
y'all,
I
didn't
want
today's
trip
on
on
Uber
because
of
whatever
reason,
and
we
will
take
the
trip
from
Uber
and
put
it
back
on
dedicated
service.
B
N
G
H
B
A
Yes,
this
is
Doris
Ray
with
Independence
Center
of
Northern,
Virginia
and
Mr,
Blake
and
I
know
each
other,
because
I
am
a
member
of
the
wamata
accessibility
advisory
committee.
A
So
I
I
wanted
to
ask
Mr
Blake
if,
if
he
might
explain
in
case
arlingtonian's
on
this
call,
are
not
aware
of
it
and
they
probably
are
the
the
current
the
new
Fair
structure
for
Metro
access
that
includes
a
flat
pair
during
off-peak
weekday
and
and
weekend
service
and
and
the
prospects
and
ask
him
the
prospects
for
getting
that
flat
pair
expanded
to
permanent
status.
D
Now
those
are
great
points
in
in
you're.
Right,
I
probably
should
have
included
that
in
my
presentation.
That's
a
big
change,
also,
as
we've
been
coming
back
so
I
I
apologize
for
not
including
that,
but
thank
you,
Ms
Ray,
for
bringing
this
to
our
attention.
Yes,
the
metro
access
Fair,
as
you
all
may
remember,
or
know,
or
just
I'm
just
stating-
is
per
the
Ada.
D
That's
our
Fair,
strictly
tied
to
the
Americans,
with
Disabilities
Act
in
general,
in
that
it's
twice
the
fastest
fixed
route,
equivalent
fare,
but
with
a
maximum
of
six
dollars
and
fifty
cents.
What
that
means
is
if
your
trip
is
the
fastest
way
for
you
to
get
from
point
A
to
point.
B
is
by
a
Metro
Bus,
which
is
two
dollars.
D
Then
your
fare
is
going
to
be
four
dollars,
but
if
the
fastest
way
for
you
to
get
from
point
A
to
point
B,
let's
say
from
Arlington
to
Washington
DC,
that's
going
to
include
the
Metro
Rail.
So
therefore,
your
fare
can
go
up
to
and
most
likely
from
Arlington
to
DC
will
likely
be
six
dollars
and
fifty
cents,
but
on
the
weekdays
now
after
9
30,
all
fares
on
metro
rail
are
two
dollars.
D
D
But
as
Doris
Ray
was
saying,
the
accessibility
advisory
committee
of
wamada
and,
quite
frankly,
others
and
and
I've,
been
sharing
the
information
about
the
benefits
of
it.
If
you
will,
but
the
AAC
has
been
advocating
for
a
flat,
four
dollar
fare
all
across
the
board
all
day
long.
D
So
that
would
take
us
from
going
to
Flat
fair
at
9
30
at
night
until
about
four
in
the
morning
and
every
and
all
day
and
night,
on
Saturdays
and
Sundays
to
just
being
a
flat
fare,
24,
7.,
four
dollars
and
they've
been
consistent.
They're
advocating
for
it
speculating
on
the
prospect
of
a
policy
change
is
not
a
is
not
a
good
business
for
me
to
be
in
because
I
don't
know
if
I'll
be
right
anyway,
but
I
could
just
say.
D
The
AAC
has
been
strong
in
their
advocacy
and
consistent
in
their
advisory
aspect
of
this
particular
policy,
and
we
have
a
series
of
budget
hearings
coming
up
for
Ramada
and
I'm
sure.
A
lot
of
testimony
on
that
subject
is
going
to
be
provided
so
we'll
see
what
what
ends
up
happening
with
that
idea
of
a
flat
Metro
access,
Fair.
B
All
right,
I
believe
I
see
Roseanne's
hand
up.
Let
me
just
check
how
we're
doing
on
time.
Where
do
I
have
my
agenda
here?
Roseanne
did
you
want
to
say
something
very.
F
Briefly,
just
very
briefly,
yes,
I
want
to
also
commend
you
for
the
abilities
ride
program.
It's
a
great
program.
My
only
concern
is
the
links
that
are
sent
do
not
always
work,
particularly
for
some
of
us
who
use
voiceover
on
our
iPhones,
and
you
probably
have
heard
this
before,
but
sometimes
the
links
do
not
work
and
we
have
to
call
then
and
get
assistance
through
your
reservations,
people,
but,
aside
from
that
I
It,
honestly,
it's
a
great
program.
Thank
you.
D
Well,
thank
you
and
yes,
we're
we're
working
on
it.
The
the
links
issue
and
I'm
not
passing
the
book.
I!
Don't
want
it
to
sound
that
way,
but
as
as
this
is
a
program
in
which
the
customers
are
are
opting
into
other
services,
so
the
links
are
coming
directly
from
Uber
and
we've
been
working
with
Uber
we've
been
providing
updates
and
feedback
from
customers,
as
the
customers
tell
me
about
their
experience.
D
I
shared
with
Uber
and
and
we've
been
trying
to
get
a
hold
of
this
whole
thing,
because
what
happens
at
the
night
and
the
night
before?
Is
that
we're
talking?
D
If
the
computer
selects
your
trip
to
be
moved
to
Uber,
then
you
get
a
text
message
from
Uber
with
the
link
and
you
click
on
the
link
when
you're
ready
to
be
picked
up.
So
let's
say
you
book
the
trip
with
Metro
access
for
a
12
o'clock
pickup
time,
but
you're
you
finish
whatever
you
were
doing
a
little
early,
so
you're
ready
to
go
at
11
30..
You
can
click
the
link
and
say
Uber
dispatch
the
vehicle
to
me
now
at
11
30..
D
But
let's
say
you:
your
pickup
time
is
8
P.M
on
New,
Year's,
Eve
and
you're
having
a
great
time
with
family,
and
you
want
to
stay
a
little
longer
now
you're,
taking
a
risk
because
of
all
the
demands,
so
maybe
New
Year's
Eve
is
a
bad
example.
But
if
you
don't
want
to
leave
at
eight
o'clock,
but
instead
you
want
to
leave
at
10
o'clock,
you
can
wait
till
10
o'clock
and
click
the
link.
D
Now
you
can't
wait
till
12,
because
the
link
is
only
good
for
the
day
of
the
trip,
but
anytime
that
day
you
can
use
the
link
to
request
the
trip,
even
if
it's
different
from
your
original
Metro
access
pickup
time.
But
yes,
we've
got
to
get
that
together
and
we're
working
on.
Believe
me
we're
trying
to
figure
it
out
and
get
that
part
resolved
once
and
for
all.
B
All
right
is
that
it
for
your
presentation:
does
anybody
have
any
more
quick
questions
or.
B
D
Right
well,
it's
been
my
pleasure.
I
really
appreciate
these
opportunities
and
anytime.
You
want
to
hear
more
about
Metro
access
or
there's
complaints
or
concerns,
and
you
feel
hey.
You
need
to
come
and
hear
what
we
have
to
say.
Just
give
me
a
call
and
I'll
be
here.
B
K
Good
evening,
thanks
Paul
Mignon
I'm
the
service
planner
for
the
art
system.
It's
just
a
real
quick
update
that
I
wanted
to
give
on.
The
excuse
me
give
on
the
on
the
floating
bus
stops.
K
We
had
been
in
a
little
bit
of
a
holding
pattern,
because
one
of
the
main
things
that
was
we
we
gathered
from
doing
some
public
Outreach
and
talking
to
different
committees,
was
that
Regional
guidelines
are
going
to
be
very
important
and
due
to
some
changes
at
Metro
and
some
Contracting
issues,
they
had
not
moved
very
far
on
their
Regional.
K
And
just
a
reminder
about
what
a
floating
bus
stop
is,
as
you
can
see,
here's
a
diagram
of
flooding
bus
stop.
It
is
designed
to
separate
the
bicycle
traffic
from
bus
traffic,
push
the
loading
zone
out
to
the
street
and
that
helps
with
sharing
the
the
the
curb
space
with
different
modes
and
also
improves
operation
for
the
bus
next
slide.
Please.
K
Okay,
so
fluid
boost
ups
are
dedicated
waiting
and
boarding,
areas
for
passengers
to
streamline
Transit
service
and
improve
accessibility
by
enabling
in-lane
stops
floating
bus
stops,
are
separated
from
the
sidewalk
by
a
bike
Channel
and
eliminating
conflicts
between
the
transit
vehicles
and
bike
that
stops
for
buses.
Boarding
Islands
allowed
the
creation
of
accessible
in-lane
stops
with
near
level
or
level
boarding.
K
The
one
disadvantage
is
that
now
the
bicycles
have
been
pushed
to
behind
the
behind
the
island
and
it
causes
a
conflict
with
the
pedestrians
next
slide.
Please.
K
So,
as
we
talk
to
the
community,
as
we
did
some
public
Outreach,
there
were
three
main
concerns
that
came
out:
there's
a
need
for
mitigation
for
the
conflict
between
pedestrians
and
bicycles,
there's
a
need
for
wayfinding
for
individuals,
with
low
vision
and
Regional
standards
for
the
construction
of
bus.
Stop
floating
bus
stops
of
the
people
who
use
it
in
one
jurisdiction
can
use
it
in
another
jurisdiction.
K
Was
talking
about
at
the
regional
level?
Metro
bus
is
working
on
a
right-of-way
safety
assessment
and
design
plan.
K
It's
a
design
for
so
there's
two
parts
of
it
that
that
we're
focused
on
currently
is
supplemental
guidelines
for
the
design
and
placement
of
bus
stops
and
a
post
priority
design
guide.
The
bus
priority
design
guide
talks
more
about
Transit
priority,
the
design
of
yeah
bus
lanes
and
infrastructure.
Like
that,
the
supplemental
guidelines,
I,
did
add
additional
types
of
bus
stops.
K
K
The
important
thing
is
is
now
that
they
have
that
draft
policy
and
we've
been
working
closely
with
Metro
there's
no
major
conflicts,
I
see
with
the
Arlington
County
draft
policy
and
in
fact
we
probably
implement
a
few
more
safety
design
features
than
you
actually
see
in
the
Metro
design
policy.
But,
and
since
this
is
underway
and
has
gotten
pretty
far
along,
we
will
be
able
to
finalize
our
policy
and
update
our
bus.
K
Stop
design
guidelines
with
this
with
these
new
policies
and
fall
in
line
with
what
the
regional
providers
are
doing,
so
that
should
be
coming
up
very
shortly
in
the
next
few
months,
where
we
finalize
this
next
slide,
please.
Why
is
that
important?
K
There's
25
projects
for
floating
bus
stops
and
various
stages
of
development,
around
Arlington
County
right
now
stops
along
Army,
Navy,
Drive
and
eat
Street
and
Pentagon
City
and
Crystal
City,
or
are
coming
to
construction.
K
These
are
projects
that
have
been
planned
for
for
actually
years
at
this
point
and
we
have
started
to
move
to
construction.
We
have
been
working
with
our
the
construction
groups,
whether
it
be
our
transportation,
engineering
or
contractors
that
are
constructing
these
stops
to
make
sure
that
they
comply
with
what
we
have
in
our
guidelines
and
will
comply
with
the
regional
guidelines
and
I
believe,
there's
still
only
one
installation
that
we
have
and
that's
the
I
believe
Wilson
Boulevard
and
North
Pierce,
Street
and
I'm.
K
Actually,
I
don't
think
it's
north
Pierce
Street,
it's
I,
can't
remember,
but
we
did
take
I
believe
the
attack
did
take
a
a
a
field
trip
out
there
to
see
that
at
one
point,
so
that
is
still
I
think
the
only
one
we
have
installed.
But,
as
I
said,
there
are
25
projects
that
are
in
various
stages
of
development
and
we
should
be
very
soon
seeing
construction
of
many
more
of
these,
and
that
currently
is
all
I
have
regarding
the
floating
bus
stops
as
an
update.
Are
there
any
questions.
B
I,
don't
believe
I
have
any
Doris
I
saw
that
your
hand
was
up
but
I'm
not
sure
whether
it
was
from
when
you
were
giving
comment
before.
B
Okay,
go
ahead
briefly,.
A
Actually,
it's
more
of
a
comment
just
making
sure
the
committee
is
aware-
and
you
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
I'm
mad
I'm
sure
the
staff
has
come
to
the
disability
advisory
committee,
about
the
construction
of
floating
bus
stops
in
Arlington,
and
the
committee
has
many
concerns
and
questions
and
has
posed
them
to
the
staff
and
right
now,
as
I
understand,
the
disability
advisory
commissions
stand
on
this.
We
are
against
it.
A
Most
people
that
I
have
heard
from
in
the
blind
Community
are
against
these
floating
bus
stops
throughout
the
region,
and
the
accessibility
advisory
committee
to
wilmada
has
expressed
its
concerns
and
an
opposition
to
floating
bus
stops,
but
in
Arlington
they
continue
to
be
planned
and
in
fact,
at
a
number
of
site
plan
reviews
for
construction
of
new
buildings,
residential
and
Commercial
and
in
Crystal
City,
Pentagon
City,
but
also
in
other
areas
like
the
site
plan
review
committee
last
night
for
the
arva
apartment
Redevelopment
at
Pershing,
Drive
and
George
Mason
and
Route
50.
A
they're,
including
plans
for
floating
bus,
stops
in
fact
protected.
Floating
bus
stops
so
I'm
concerned
about
that
I'm
concerned
about
their
construction
being
such
that
people.
A
With
Mobility
device
using
Mobility
devices
we'll
have
to
roll
a
longer
length
of
a
long
block
like
down
there
at
the
Amazon
headquarters,
for
example,
because
of
the
projected
bus
stops,
they
can't
stop
at
the
regular
stops,
maybe
in
the
middle
of
an
intersection.
So
I
would
be
hoping
that
the
accessibility
advisory
committee
and
the
attack
be
aware
of
that
and
that
the
community
itself
make
its
voices
known.
Really.
A
This
should
be
taken
also
to
the
Metropolitan
Washington
Council
of
government
accessibility,
access
for
all
committee
and
because
this
is
actually
a
regional
issue
and
it's
also
a
national
issue,
because
the
The
Pedestrian
rights
away
standards
of
the
access
board,
don't
don't
explicitly
include
anything
about
floating
bus
stops.
That's
my
concern,
and
perhaps
that
could
come
up
as
a
wider
agenda
item
for
discussion
of
your
committee
at
another
time.
B
Thank
you,
Doris
I.
Don't
think
we
have
time
to
handle
that
one
right
now,
but
I'm
glad
that
you
brought
it
up,
and
thank
you
very
much
for
putting
it
so
clearly
looks
like
the
next
thing
we
have
on
our
agenda
is
Star
Performance
reports.
C
C
C
The
next
piece
of
information
is
the
rides
that
are
provided
by
Zone.
As
you
all
are
aware,
star
has
three
zones:
Zone
one
is
primarily
all
of
Arlington
County.
C
There
were
a
little
over
6
000
trips
that
occurred
in
in
zone
one
zone.
Two
is
a
little
a
little
bit
outside
of
the
county
toward
the
Beltway
4
700
trips
occurred
in
that
zone
and
zone.
Three
is
everywhere
else,
that's
outside
of
the
Beltway
and
that's
about
1500
trips.
C
The
cost
per
passenger
when
we
look
at
what
the
operate
total
operations
costs
for
star,
and
you
divide
that
by
the
number
of
passengers
that
we
carry,
we
are
paying
about
49,
almost
fifty
dollars
per
trip
for
for
each
passenger
trip
and
then
also
it's
it's
subsidized
by
the
the
fares
that
you
see
here.
Per
Zone
passengers
per
service
hour
is
1.7
as
a
Paratransit
service.
C
It
is
demand
responses,
as
Christian
noted
earlier,
it's
about
providing
multiple
trips
and
and
combining
that
with
a
schedule
for
people
who
are
traveling
in
the
same
areas,
Origins
and
destinations,
and
our
goal
is
to
to
move
as
many
people
as
we
can
and
the
numbers
that
we
have
right
now.
Based
on
our
this.
The
service
provision
is
about
1.7
passengers
per
hour
and
the
next
next
information
I
wanted
to
show.
C
You
were
our
comments
per
1000
trips
and,
if
you'll
see
here
that
the
total
that
we
received
over
the
course
of
the
past
four
months
is
a
total
of
37
comments.
Of
those
37
comments
for
recommendations.
C
33
were
complaints
that
we
are
responding
to
and,
as
we
heard,
some
have
already
been
corrected
and
that
we
will
continue
to
respond
to
next
slide.
Please-
and
this
is
the
depiction
of
how
the
ridership
looks
and
in
comparison
to
FY,
21,
22
and
now
23.,
but
you
could
focus
on,
would
be
the
the
third
graph
that
you
see
here
is
the
third
color,
rather
is
the
gold
color,
which
shows
where
FY
23
service
since
July
and
how
it
is
in
comparison
to
the
previous
two
years
next
slide.
C
C
C
And
this
is
the
trips
that
have
been
completed
on
Red
Top
Cab,
again,
noting
the
the
graph
that
is,
the
gold
color
for
FY
23
and,
as
you
see,
we're
we're
noting
the
numbers
we're
a
little
low
in
showing
an
FY
21
and
that's
been
for
all
for
all
three
I'm,
showing
the
total
and
diamond
and
red
top.
The
good
news
is
that
we're
seeing
is
that
that
number
is
getting
higher
as
we
get
further
away
fingers
crossed
from
what
has
been
the
heart
of
the
pandemic.
C
People
are
starting
to
use
the
service
again
next
slide,
and
this
actually
shows
the
cancellations
that
we've
seen
over
the
course
of
the
last
four
months.
You
know
that
there
were
a
number,
a
higher
number
of
cancellations
in
the
month
of
November,
and
then
it
it
came
down
slightly
in
December.
C
The
number
still
is
higher
than
previous
previous
years,
and
we
would
note
that
that
probably
has
a
lot
to
do
with
the
amount
of
people
that
are
actually
coming
back
and
starting
to
use
the
service
again
and
for
whatever
reason
are
having
to
cancel
their
trips
next
slide,
and
this
slide
actually
shows
those
trips
that
were
considered.
No-Shows.
C
Excuse
me
that
those
numbers
are
actually
a
little
lower
than
what
we
showed
for
cancellations,
but
we
are
still
looking
for
and
hopeful
that
those
numbers
will
continue
to
to
go
down
next
slide.
C
And
just
wanted
to
note
that
to
get
more
information,
you'll
be
able
to
find
these
slides
and
all
of
our
ridership
and
performance
information
on
the
Arlington
Transit
website,
under
accountability
and
transparency
and
for
for
more
in-depth
information,
and
we
are
really
working
toward
having
this
information
provided
on
a
dashboard
that
you
could
be
able
to
or
anyone
could
be
able
to
access
the
data
from
the
performance
reports
and
what
you
see
are
the
same
same
type
of
information
that
we
have
to
report
to
to
the
Federal
Transit
Administration
through
our
NTD
and
that's
the
information
I
have
on
the
performance
reports
and
just
wanted
to
quickly
know
that
I
see
that
we're
going
over
time
that
for
future
future
information
about
our
meetings-
and
this
is
recently
the
presented
information
from
the
county.
C
Regarding
all
committee
commission
meetings,
we
noted
in
Alexa
noted
up
front
that
we
are
recording
the
meetings.
We
have
been
doing
that,
but
just
to
note
that
as
County
policy
now
we
are
recording
the
meetings
and
then
we're
uploading.
The
meeting
we'll
be
uploading.
The
meeting
on
YouTube
also
for
those
committee
or
commissions
that
decide
that
they
want
to
meet
in
person
the
county
also
is
requesting
that
there
be
a
virtual
component
to
any
hybrid
meetings
as
well,
and
that's
all
I
have
for
more
information
and
Madam
chair.
B
All
right,
I
do
see.
I
do
see
that
we
had
I,
think
a
new
guest
arrive
and
I'm
wondering
Mr
keezer.
Did
you
want
to
give
comment
or
anything
like
that.
B
Okay,
we
are
over
time,
so
if
you
could
ask
them
briefly,.
B
The
meeting
was
supposed
to
adjourn
at
six
o'clock,
and
so
why
is
that,
if
you,
so
you
were
not
here
for
public
comment.
So
if
you
would
like
to
briefly
give
comment,
that's
fine,
but
well.
O
Next
time
I
found
out
about
the
meeting
through
a
fellow
star
writer
I
didn't
get
any
notice
from
the
county,
which
is
typical,
but
my
question
is
to
miss
Rivers
one
I
haven't
heard
back,
you
told
me
you
were
going
to
respond
to
us
from
our
meeting
in
September.
I
didn't
get
any
response.
I,
don't
know
anybody
that
got
a
response.
Did
you
respond
to
anybody
from
the
September
meeting
with
our
questions
then,
and
then
I
have
a
follow-up
question
about
this
supposed
presentation
you
just
made
hello.
Yes,.
C
O
O
It
doesn't
say
anything
about
the
delivery
of
services.
So
my
question
is:
where
are
the
on-time
pickup
performance
data,
the
late
stocks
past
the
pickup
window,
excessive
late
pickups,
even
on
time,
pickups
calls
handled
reservation
response
time,
where
my
ride,
where
are
my
ride,
calls
and
what
are
the
substance
of
the
complaints
submitted
so.
O
Look
at
what
is
it,
what
did
what
did
you
tell
us
about
the
performance
and
a
question,
a
specific
question
about
the
cancellations
when,
when
somebody
gets
a
ride
or
makes
a
reservation,
and
then
the
cab
doesn't
show
up,
is
that
a
cancellation.
O
C
C
C
This
is
not
my
committee
meeting
Mr
Kaiser.
This
is
the
commit
there's.
A
committee
of
members
of
the
transit.
B
Advisory
committees,
or,
if
there's,
if
there's
information,
that
you
would
like
to
be
shared,
let
us
know,
and
we
can
definitely
negotiate
I-
did
hear
you
say
that
you
would
like
more
information
about
how
many
complaints
they
got
and
well
the
general
nature
of
those
complaints
were
I.
I
do
think
some
information
about
the
complaints
could
be
useful,
I'm,
not
sure
how
well
it
can
be
broken
down
for
each
meeting,
but
but
I
can
definitely
follow
up
on
that.
But.
M
L
C
O
B
About
again
Mr
keys
or
if
you,
if
there
are
specific
things
that
you
would
like
to
be
part
of
the
presentation,
let
us
know
and
I
can
I
can
see
what
I
can
do
about
that.
I
do
think.
Okay,.
O
O
B
I
do
have
a
couple
more
hands
up.
Herschel
is
a
member
of
the
committee,
so
let
me
call
it
Herschel.
First.
H
Yeah
I
was
wondering
what
had
happened
to
that
business
of
changing
the
rules.
That's
up
and
dropped
the
thing
that
was
coming
out
of
that
study
about
a
year
ago
or
more.
C
The
the
we
will
continue
with
the
public
engagement
piece
of
that
Herschel,
as
I
noted
back
in
September,
with
the
departure
of
the
transit
services
manager.
Who
was
heading
up
that
that
effort
that
we
were
putting
it
on
pause.
C
We
were
at
the
process
of
getting
ready
to
start
public
engagement
and
to
roll
everything
out
to
the
public
what
the
proposals
were
and
that
when
we
got
the
position
filled,
we
would
start
that
public
engagement
up
again
and
if,
if
I
may,
just
just
note
that
we
are
very
close
to
announcing
a
new
transit
services
manager,
so
I
anticipate
that
over
the
course
of
the
next
before
the
next
at
the
next.
C
Let
me
just
say
that
at
the
next
advisory
accessibility
commit
subcommittee
meeting
that
we
will
talk
about
what
our
next
steps
will
be
with
regards
to
proposed
policies.
B
And
Lynn,
if
I
may
do,
I
understand
correctly
that
that
the
first
step
in
that
is
bringing
specific
policy
proposals
to
the
community
to
comment
on
am
I
correct
in
that
that
is
very
correct.
Okay,
I
believe
I
see
Doris's
hand
up
Doris
did
you
have
another
comment
to
make
quickly?
We
are
over
time.
So
please.
A
Be
brief
very
quickly.
First
I
want
to
reiterate,
on
behalf
of
ecmv,
that
that
the
statistics
regarding
on-time
performance,
including.
A
No
shows
for
consumers
and
long
waits
for
rods
to
pick
them
up
as
well
as
long
rides
on
vehicles.
It
are
Ada
performance
standards
that
must
be
reported
and
reported
to
the
public,
and
this
committee,
the
disability
advisory
committee
and
the
community
need
to
know
that
and-
and
we
need
to
start
knowing
it
at
every
meeting
and
in
fact
it
is
provided
down
at
Walmart
for
Metro
access,
so
that
this
is
the
alternative
program
to
Metro
access.
So
we
should
be
receiving
it.
A
And
the
second
thing
is
the
question
which
is:
is
it
my
understanding,
because
I've
heard
a
lot
about
late
pickups
that
put
people
in
danger,
like
keeping
them
waiting
in
the
dark,
after
after
Pentagon,
City
and
and
and
and
other
retail
and
restaurants
are
closing
that
that
their
rides
aren't
showing
and
that
the
reservation
system
that
they
call
is
telling
them
they
don't
know
where
their
ride
is?
A
These
are
serious
violations
of
ADA,
Paratransit
rules
and
and
and
and
and
we
need
resolution,
so
we
and
we
need
information,
but
the
last
thing
is
I
wanted
to
ask.
Does?
Does
your
what
you
just
said
about
the
proposal
for
service
and
policy
changes
that
began
last
year
and
was
then
withdrawn?
A
Are
we
to
understand
that
there
are
going
to
be
no
policy
changes
proposed
in
the
coming
budget
that
we
would
have
to
address
in
the
budget
hearings
and
that
nothing
will
happen
until
after
the
beginning
of
the
new
County
fiscal
year,
starting
in
July
that
that
no
changes
in
services
or
policies
warfares
will
happen
until
after
the
beginning
of
the
new
fiscal
year
in
July.
B
Sounds
like
what
I'm
hearing
Doris
say
is:
are
we
going
to
get
proposals,
but
before
the
new
budget
is
what
it
sounded
like
the
main
thrust
of
that?
That
question
was,
if
I
understood
it
correctly,.
C
That
that's
as
I
heard
it
as
well,
so
we're
start
Doris
we're
starting
the
should
be
starting
the
process
up
with
public
engagement
and,
as
I
said,
probably
in
the
March
time
frame,
March
or
April.
I
would
not
imagine
that
we
would
have
anything
resolved
or
anything
resolved
before
the
beginning
of
the
budget
year.
If
it
does,
we've
moved
pretty
quickly
and
resolved
a
lot
of
conversation,
so
we
don't
have
anything
proposed
in
the
in
the
budget
with
regard
to
the
to
propose
policy
changes
at
this
point.
A
But,
but
what
I
want
to
know
is
don't
they
need
if
you're
going
to
have
policy
changes
as
you've
handled
them
before
they
usually
are
brought
up
in
public
hearing
at
at
when
the
budget
is
going
through?
So
what
I
understand
you
to
be
saying
is
there
will
be
no
policy
and
service
changes
going
into
effect
until
until
actually
next
calendar
year?
Can
you
confirm
that
that
is
so?
What.
C
If
we
start
up,
let's
say
in
the
March
April
time
frame,
I
can't
I,
don't
believe
we'll
get
through
it
within
two
to
three
months
when
the
budget
is
is
being
passed.
So
so
that's
what
I
can
tell
you
right
now.
C
C
A
C
The
plan
right
now
is
to
take
it
to
the
public
when
we
announced
it
last
year.
It
was
literally
just
sharing
with
our
Transit
advisory
committee,
what
we
had
seen
and
looked
at
with
other
agencies
and
also
our
own
with
regards
to
improving
and
making
some
changes,
not
for
change
sake,
but
in
order
to
enhance
and
improve
the
service
and
that
that
is
the
guiding
Factor
here.
And
so
our
commitment
is
to
go
through
public
engagement
before
we
make
any
announcements
or
anything
is
confirmed.
A
A
B
Is
that
everything
I?
Definitely
yes,.
O
C
I
report
to
Hue
Huang,
who
is
our
new
deputy
director
and
I,
am
sharing
with
you.
What
we've
said
all
along
during
this
process
and
the
process
is
to
go
through
public
engagement
and
then
we
will
come
back
to
our
Transit
advisory
committee.
We
will
talk
with
the
accessibility
subcommittee,
and
so
we
will
go
through
the
process
as
we
would
with
anything
dealing
with
policy.
So
what
I'm
sharing
with
you
is
the
timeline
and
is
the
process.
B
All
right
do
we
have
anything
else.
Do
we
have
anything
else
from
committee
members
I
want
to
make
sure
that
if
folks
have
anything
they
want
to
ask
about
or
talk
about
that
they
have
a
chance
to
do
so.
B
All
right,
if
not
do
I,
have
a
motion
to
adjourn.
B
Okay,
Herschel,
you
want
to
second
that
second.
H
B
All
right:
well,
that's
all
three
of
us
so
again,
thank
you
very
much
everyone
for
your
presentations
and
your
comments,
and
we
will
see
you
guys
in
March.
