you
are
The

in
the
sustainer
of
life
and
you
are
the
Redeemer
of
our
Eternal
Souls
through
faith
in
your
son,
Jesus
and
so
father.
We
do
praise
you
this
morning
and
we
thank
you.
We
thank
you
for
the
freedoms
with
which
you
have
blessed
this
great
nation,
the
freedom
to
call
upon
your
name
in
the
city,
Square,
the
freedom
to
worship,
according
to
our
personal
preferences,
the
freedom
to
pursue
our
individual
dreams
and
goals
in
life.
D
Thank
you
for
our
wonderful,
dedicated,
First
Responders
who
keep
us
safe,
who
rescue
us
who
render
Aid
when
we
are
injured
or
ill
today,
Father,
as
we
remember
the
heroic
First
Responders
of
9
11
and
their
families
and
the
great
sacrifices
they
made.
We
do
so
with
grateful
hearts
blessed
our
father.
All
that
have

My
name
is
Deborah
Campbell
and
I
have
the
pleasure
of
serving
as
your
city
manager
and
on
behalf
of
the
mayor,
Asheville
City,
Council
and
1100
plus
employees
of
the
city
of
Asheville.
We
want
to
thank
you
for
being
here
today,
as
we
join
with
millions
of
people
across
the
country
to
remember
the
events.
The
victims
and
survivors
of
September
11
2001.
F
F
We
remember
them
today,
individually
and
collectively,
to
ensure
that
they
ignore
their
families
are
ever
forgotten
as
I
think.
Back
on
that
day,
I
remember
the
shock
and
horror
as
the
tragic
events
unfolded.
I
remember
the
overall
sadness
for
the
lives,
lost
and
I.
Remember.
Watching
and
off.
As
the
rescue
workers
went
directly
into
the
fire
to
save
lives,
we
all
felt
the
weight
of
our
nation
on
their
shoulders
and
were
honored
to
have
such
amazing
men
and
women
on
our
side.

B
I've
heard
it
said
so
many
different
ways
that
on
this
day,
22
years
ago,
some
hundred
and
ten
thousand
years
of
human
experience
was
removed
from
our
shared
consciousness
and
at
that
time
one
in
five
Americans
knew
someone.
They
knew
someone
with
whom
they
had
shared
some
of
those
years
with
those
2

Souls
they
were
grandparents,
they
were
proud
mothers
and
fathers,
they
were
hopeful
children,
brothers
and
sisters.
They
were
cousins
and
friends,
they
were
our
neighbors.
They
were
a
long
lost,
School
Pals.
