Meeting
in
Atlanta,
County
Board
of
Commissioners
is
called
order
and
compliance
to
the
open
until
the
meetings
act.
The
state
of
New
Jersey
had
a
good
notice
of
this
meeting
of
the
Atlantic
County
Board
of
Commissioners
was
provided
in
the
following
manner
published
in
the
Press
of
Atlantic
City
mailed
to
the
current
and
the
Hamilton
Gazette,
and
has
been
posted
on
the
Bolton
boards
and
the
county
office
building
in
Atlantic
City,
the
Stillwater
building
in
Northfield
and
the
county
clerk's
office
in
Mays
Landing.

A
A
A
A
Anyone
in
person
I
would
like
to
speak
during
public
comments.
Please
come
to
the
podium
state,
your
name
and
the
town
you
reside.
You
will
provide
three
minutes
to
speak
if
you're
attending
virtually
please
type
yes
and
the
resolution
number
in
the
question
and
answer
box
any
items
not
listed
on
the
agendas
you
may
speak
during
public
comments.
You'll
be
called
upon
to
speak
and
request
to
unmute
will
be
set.
Please
state
your
name
in
the
town
you
resolved
resided,
okay,
moving
on
with
our
agenda,
or
we
have
an
ordinance
on
second
and
final
reading.
A
C
D
Yes,
so
I.
D
The
jury
or
I
think
Clinton's
here.
Do
we
get
a
response
back
from
the
municipalities
and
there's
a
request
to
sign
a
letter
and
also
pass
resolutions
in
their
respective.
G
H
G
D
D
Of
course,
fire
Fighters.
G
J
Better
one,
we
got
a
vote
on
it
now.
Well,
it
doesn't
matter
the
talents.
This
is
for
a
study
exactly
okay
and
I.
Think
Mr,
chair
I,
think
we
could
ask
Sam.
Can
you
highlight
what
you
highlighted
for
us
on
the
on
the
budget
Committee
in
terms
of
the
elements
that
will
be
in
the
RFP
for
the
study,
because
that's
critical
so.
G
What
we,
what
we
anticipate
asking
in
the
sunny,
is
to
identify
Building,
Technology
and
staffing
needs
to
meet
the
centralized
dispatch
required.
Ems
an
Associated
cost
those
three
things,
as
well
as
any
Union
Civil
Service
and
operational
issues
that
would
come
about
as
create
a
centralized
dispatch
area
require
DMS.
Well,
that's
going
to
also
be
a
call
center,
where
Nicole
will
come
in
to
that
Dispatch,
Center,
San,
Francisco
police
call.
There
will
be
dispatched
to
that
police
department
in
that
area,
so
it
would
take
the
place
of
dispatching
police
calls.
G
But
we
expect
what
we've
been
told.
This
is
next-gen
technology.
That's
coming
on
board
some
very
expensive
municipalities
and
it'd
be
better
to
have
that
all
amongst
all
Center.
D
One
one
other
question
in
this
study:
is
there
a
way,
or
you
already
have
it
planned
out-
that
we
would
also
study
whether
it
could
be
expanded
for
police
sometime?
D
G
The
studies
don't
mean
that
much
if
I
take
it
in
consideration
when
we,
when
we
decide
on
the
farm,
okay
departments,
but
that
seemed
like
it's
much
more
difficult
to
bring
on
board
the
fire.
The
fire
chiefs,
Association,
the
firefighters
Association
and
the
EMS
Association
came
to
us
and
asked
for
centralized
dispatch.
The
deadline
for
the
Grant
application
is
March
15th,
so
to
meet
that
we
decided
to
just
move
forward
with
the
EMS
and
fire
and
then
next
year
police
are
interested.
You
can
come
back.
G
F
That
time
expand
into
the
police
department
yeah
at
least
two
chiefs
and
did
a
big
debit
Canadian
and
asked
us
to
make
sure
that
we
can
consider
if
the
police
want
to
come
in.
Only
because,
like
Tim
said,
the
cost
for
the
the
new
system
for
the
towns
probably
have
to
go
online
within
two
or
three
years.
It
would
be
very
expensive.
So
part
of
that
study
and
we're
going
to
submit
the
study.
The
the
chair
of
the
budget
subcommittee
asking.
D
J
J
I
think
the
other
thing
that's
important
is:
let's
not
make
an
assumption
that
it's
one
place.
One
building
I
believe
part
of
the
study
will
be
assessing.
What's
the
right
kind
of
structure
right,
is
it
one
place
one
building?
Is
it
a
regional
concept
where
maybe
there's
a
couple
hubs
I
think
that's
something
we
need
to
consider
that'll
all.
G
B
Mr
days,
yeah
as
part
I
mean
I'm,
not
sure
what
presentation
you've
heard
of
the
budget
committee.
But
it's
part
of
the
study,
we'll
tell
I,
mean
I,
know
it's
impossible.
Without
the
talents,
responding
have
an
idea
of
what
it
will
cost
is
one
of
the
concerns
or
how
it
would
work.
Is
that
they'll
be
paying
you
know
twice
paying
for
their
police
dispatch
still
and
then
paying
for
a
share
of
whatever
the
shared
service
is
that's.
What
I'm
saying
is
that.
J
J
Towns
that
are
civil
service
versus
non-civil
service.
What
happens
to
the
people
the
best
people
right?
How
do
we?
How
do
we
reconcile
that?
So
that's
all
part
of
when
Tim
mentions
those
kind
of
issues
that
we
have
to
assess
and
put
together
like
what
are
the
mitigation
strategies
for
that
or
the
options
for
those
things.
That's
all
all
pieces
of
that
equipment,
and
when
we
looked
at
this
last
time
it
was
what
about
towns
who
just
bought
new.
You
know
radio
equipment
a
year
ago
versus
20
years
ago.
J
Whatever
it
is,
are
we
reimbursing?
Are
we
not
like
those
are
all
the
devils
and
the
details?
Those
are
the
things
that
really
have
to
have
a
critical
look
as
part
of
the
study
I.
Think
for
us
to
be
able
to
to
put
a
realistic
number
in
the
hands
of
the
municipalities
to
make
an
educated
decision
for
them
and
for
us,
but.
A
G
Join
in
and
support
us
as
to
getting
this
study
done
whether
they
want
to
join
or
not.
Ultimately,
that
would
be
their
decision,
but
at
this
point,
we're
just
taking
this
very
first
step
again,
a
lot
of
the
questions
that
you're
asking
me
and
the
municipality
they're
not
interested
to
that
correct
right.
That's
why
we're
doing
this
study
so
that
definitive
or
close
definitive
you
know,
pretty
good
guest
mix
can
be
presented
to
the
municipalities
and
saying
okay.
This
is
what
it's
going
to
entail
right.
K
A
E
J
Chair
just
want
to
highlight
that
this
is
a
new
Grant
and
we
are
going
to
be
applying
for
funds
as
far
back
as
2020
for
reimbursement
and
we'll.
G
King
on
Philadelphia
Avenue,
Egg,
Harbor
City.
What
would
those
monies
be
geared
towards
in
for
this
grant
direct
that
to
Administration.
F
A
A
C
C
C
J
Want
to
highlight
that
we
did
have
some
extensive
discussion
in
in
subcommittee
about
the
the
continued
nursing
staff
issues
throughout
the
county
and
you
know
really
needing
to
get
creative
and
think
outside
of
the
box
in
terms
of
our
normal
processes
of
potentially
recruiting
and
retaining
our
nursing
staff.
So
we
did
kick
around
a
number
of
ideas.
J
I'm
gonna
bring
some
of
those
ideas
to
Workforce
Development
this
week,
but
just
wanted
to
the
the
board
to
know
that
we
did
have
some
some
pretty
robust
conversation
in
that.
Yes,
we
did
anyone
else,
Mr
chair.
It's.
D
Just
to
Jerry
Jerry
at
the
the
nursing
home
Meadowview,
are
we
still
holding
back
rooms
because
of
Staff
in
shortages
or
about
approximately?
What's
the
percentage
that
were
not
being
able
to
use
so
50
of
the
rooms
cannot
be
that's
correct,
used
because
of
statute.
G
Took
Mr
chairman
for
me:
yes,
so
Jerry
so
you're
talking
about
the
nursing
home,
I
noted,
there's
there's
some
issue
at
the
nursing
home.
I've
been
kind
of
I
can't
speak
with
my
colleagues,
but
employees
are
still
complaining
about
issues
over
there.
I
don't
know
for
Staffing
understaffing,
I,
don't
know
what
the
issues
is.
I
did
agree
to
meet
with
some
of
them.
I
have
not
done
it
yet.
I
had
some
family
emergencies
come
up,
but
it.
E
G
L
G
Tell
you
what
they
are
about,
I
haven't
had
the
conversation
with
them,
I
don't
know
if
it
has
anything
to
do
with
the
shortage.
I
have
no
idea.
Maybe
you
can
enlighten
me.
F
I
I
haven't
heard
of
that
any
complaints.
The
only
thing
you
know
that
that,
if
they
were
going
to
complain,
is
just
the
fact
that
when
one
of
their
contracts
ended
in
2021
and
their
their
negotiator
just
sent
us,
you
know
their
first
offer
for
a
contract
and
we're
talking,
you
know,
February
I
think
was
February
6th
of
2023..
So
they
may
be
saying
you
know
they
don't
have
a
contract.
Well,
they
don't.
You
just
got
a
proposal
so
but
I
mean
in
terms
of
the
Staffing.
F
It's
hard
I
mean
you've
all
listen
to
the
the
comment
yesterday
about
the
state
of
the
Staffing.
A
lot
of
people
were
scared
by
covid.
They
they
left
the
field.
All
together,
I
mean
I,
think
you
heard
even
nurses
and
we
have
to
feel
because
of
coven,
and
it
was
a
pretty
long
period
of
time.
You're
talking,
you
know,
roughly
until
March
of
2020,
to
probably
some
time
you
know
the
end
of
21,
beginning
with
22..
You
know
you
had,
you
know
very
extreme
illnesses
going
on.
It's.
F
After
that
time
period
in
terms
of
the
the
transmission
range
and
stuff
like
that,
so
it's
been
very
hard
to
to
stay
up
there.
I
will
tell
you
that
you
know
we
these
contracts
and
by
the
way,
no
I
mean
it's
your
personal
budget,
yourself
committee.
We
got
into
that
discussion
yesterday.
This
is
not
only
for
many
of
you
now
began
having
a
problem
with
Public
Health.
F
They
you
just
can't
I
mean
the
field
itself:
they're,
not
getting
nurses
in
the
field
itself
and
I.
Forget
who
you
know
I
think
somebody
was
talking
about
that
they're,
giving
bonuses
I'm
not
going
to
mention
that
the
company,
when
you're
giving
birth
to
like
twenty
five
thousand
dollars.
You
just
come
on
board.
We're
not
we're
not
in
a
position
to
do
that.
F
L
E

Are
you

Any
public
comment?
Birthplace

J
To
draw
the
distinction
between
the
two
110
is
for
less
than
a
dozen
locations
for
early
voting
and
111
is
for
hundreds
of
locations
that
we
have
for
regular
General
voting.
Thank
you.
It's
just
programming
right
right
program.
G
Mr
chairman,
yes
through
you
to
the
County
Administrator,
have
we
stopped
purchasing
any
of
the
new
ones,
the
new
voting
machine?
Yet
man,
we
pass
a
thing.

Grant

a

for
the
County's

and
to
be
made
available
to
municipalities
on
an
as
needed
basis
funded
amount.
Forty
five

County
cash
back
fifteen
thousand
dollars,

second,
by
Commissioner
Karen
discussion,
Mr,
bows,
yeah,.
G
I
guess
Tim
or
Jerry
they're.
Are
they
solar
light
City
or
they
have
to
be
hardwired?
Yet
so,
if
you're
on
a
trailer
and
just
just
bring
them
in
portable
yeah
so
similar,
you
remember,
the
trailer
mounted
attenuators
be
something
similar.
D
C
Office
of
emergency
management
through
the
Federal
Emergency
Management
Administration
Hazard
mitigation
grant
program
to
assist
with
the
cost
to
replace
the
damn
Spillway
and
related
work
at

funded
amount.
Four
million
six
hundred
thousand
dollars,
County
Bank
find
match
one
million
nine
hundred
fourteen
thousand
six
hundred
seven
dollars
and
twenty.
J
It
this
is
a
culmination
of
a
lot
of
time,
a
lot
of
work
and
a
lot
of
thanks
really
needs
to
be
put
out
to
Congressman
van
Drew
for
helping
us
to
be
able
to
obtain
this
grant.
J
We
worked
in
concert
with
him
with
the
municipality
with
our
staff
to
do
the
application,
which
required
Community
engagement
and
a
lot
of
advocating
during
the
appropriation
time
in
Congress,
and
we
were
lucky
enough
to
get
that
4.6
million
and
you'll
see
the
next
item
on
maintain
is
going
to
be
the
big
contract
for
the
schoolway
improvements
at
10
million,
so
that
4.6
comes
off
of
that
10
million
and
off
of
that
taxpayer
burden
both
countywide
and
in
Hamilton
Township.
J
Since
we
we
split
that
bill,
50
50.
and
it's
just
so
much
work
has
been
done.
We've
we've
kept
our
foot
to
the
pedal
on
this
whole
initiative
to
really
Advance
these
plans
and
this
action
forward
before
we
have
any
kind
of
an
issue
out
there
so
I
know
I'm
a
pain
to
the
county
staff,
particularly
Doug
and
Renee,
and
the
the
planning
and
Engineering
teams
when
it
comes
to
this.
J
But
it's
a
lot
of
good
due
diligence
and
again
that
4.6
million
is
significant
for
us
as
a
county
to
have
received
from
that
Congressional
appropriation.
So
just
wanted
to
highlight
that
we
appreciate
being
heavily
involved
in
that
pressure.
Again.
Oh
absolutely
I
mean
last
thing
we
want
is
a
problem.

Yes,
please
read
120.
G
My
question
on
on
120
is
this
to
say
that
you're
going
to
pay
this
money
to
extend
the
time
for
Port
Services
for
for
the
employees
and
the
staff
to
get
paid
for
those
extra
Court
days.
F
I
think
County
Council
negotiated
with
the
judges,
prosecutors
and
public
defenders,
a
number
of
course
sessions
that
the
court
said
that
they
would
need
a
price
to
the
court.
Deciding
that
this
is
very
important
but
I
think
most
people
don't
understand.
Is
the
county
pays
the
cost,
the
court,
the
court
systems,
the
AOC,
runs
the
courts,
so
they
make
all
the
decisions
on
the
number
of
sessions
in
this
particular
case
they
have
this
issue
such
as
that
they
asked
a
judge.
F
You
know
the
prosecutor
of
a
prosecutors
and
public
defenders
to
work,
that's
what
they
did
and,
and
then
the
next
one
will
go
is
on
the
next
one.
Mr
Dugan
is
our
is
our
acting
County
Council?
He
can
explain
to
you
the
kinds
of
things
lawyers
do
that
they
think
could
be
asked
by
the
courts
to
do
won't.
You
go
through
that
Jimmy,
some
of
them
well.
G
Can
I
just
ask
you
a
question
before
you
do
so?
If
you
are
I,
just
want
to
understand
that
if
we're
extending
the
court,
because
if
the
OC
run
into
court,
but
the
time
is
extended
right,
they
set.
F
The
so
you
understand
that
the
court,
the
court
staff
prosecutors,
the
schedule
public
defenders
have
typically
judges
have
to
resource
for
their
work
year.
50
weeks
staff
or
you
know,
52
weeks,
it's
a
full
year.
S
S
G
So
my
last
question
on
that,
so
employees
get
paid,
26
pays
a
year.
Courts
are
going
to
schedule
these
additional
days.
Are
we
going
to
schedule
those
additional
days
of
court
to
fit
inside
those
26
weeks,
or
is
that
going
to
extend
that
26
weeks
pay?
It
doesn't
affect
the
contracts
of
unions
or
anyone
else
working
this.
C
I
think
resolution
number
729
adopted
an
alternate
method
contract
to
allow
payments
for
extra
sessions
scheduled
by
the
court
and
extraordinary
trial,
preparation
pertaining
to
the
municipal
prosecutors
and
Municipal.
The
public
defender
serving
in
the
central
Municipal
Court
of
Atlanta
County
math
exceed
7
500..
Second,
move.
B
E
B
A
whole
new
thing,
you
know,
you
know
unforeseen
things
come
up
and
you're
totally
creating
something
that
the
same
has
never
seen
before,
but
but
I
think
some
have
concerns
that
it's
going
to
keep
happening.
F
Well,
just
the
answer
that
I
would
give
you
is
that
we're
supposed
to
be
quarterly?
They
have
two
committees.
This
will
be
discussed.
You
know
quarterly
at
that
first
quarterly
meeting
this
year.
You
know,
okay,
just
so,
you
know,
they've
been
held
one
wish
for
the
year
Acts
two
years,
so
these
costs
are
going
to
be
formed
by
the
county,
not
necessarily
by
them.
What
will
happen
is
in
those
quarterly
meetings.
This
is
how
are
these
going
to
be
handled
post
the
2024
correct,
because
that.
G
G
F
F
In
those
years,
so
what
place
I
put
together
is
this
look
like
today,
so
County
put
together,
of
course,
County
Council
work
with
the
court
system
to
put
together,
of
course,
so
there
was
a
budget
that
was
derived
from
those
conversations
and
then
there
was
Revenue,
so
the
cost,
the
cost
that
the
county
was
going
to
experience
was
watching
the
towns
had
your
average
for
those
three
years
is
what
happened
so
that's
that's
what
we
they
were
going
to
pay
and
then
the
issue
of
the
revenue.
How
would
the
revenue
begin?
Their
revenue
was
discussed.
F
Question
the
these
course
were
not,
as
I
said,
these
calls
were
over
and
above
the
original
sessions.
So
when,
when
commissioner
Daisy
asked
the
question
so
we're
assuming
those
costs
because
we
already
have
a
budget
with
them.
E
F
A
B
Any
discussion-
it's
clear
today,
just
just
briefly
Mike
this
plan
to
be
here
today,
but
something
came
up
to
work
at
the
last
minute.
It's
gonna,
be
a
tremendous
asset.
He's
been
great
getting
back
to
me
all
during
covid,
when
all
the
restaurant
owners
were
asking
me
and
panicking,
and
and
even
more
so
more
recently
with
the
liquor
proposed
liquor
license
changes
so
he's
going
to
be
a
tremendous
asset
to
the
Workforce
Development
party,
no
question
about
it.
B
A
A
Commissioner,
in
the
days
second
by
commissioner
Bowles,
discussion
bring
down
a
couple
of
comments.
Phone
call.
Please
balance!
Yes,
yes,
yes,
yes
turn!
Yes,
Parker!
Yes,
yes,
would
there
be
anyone
on
the
governing
body?
That
has
any
particular
committee
report
they'd
like
to
give
at
this
time.
Yes,
with
your
current.
U
You
know
I
just
want
to
make
mention
with
the
mental
health
Advisory
Board.
They
had
a
meeting
this
past
week
and
we
continue
to
talk
about
Staffing
and
it
really
is
a
sad
thing
in
all
of
the
areas
that
we
say
it
yeah
and
where
mental
health
is
being
addressed,
it's
being
addressed
as
we
see
with
re-entry
through
our
prisons
and
things
like
that
is
being
they're
getting
grants
for
youth,
there's
a
lot
of
money
going
out
there
and
they
can't
get
the
stamped
Romania.
U
So
it's
unfortunate
they're
trying
they're
trying
other
avenues.
You
know
like
what
you're
going,
which
you
had
talked
about
with
the
nursing
staff
other
areas
but
yeah.
It
is
very
important
right
there.
What's
going
on
what's
Happening.
F
Commissioner
you're
also
talking
about
the
County
doesn't
provide
smoke
about
the
county,
doesn't
provide
technically
the
disabled
if
there
was
a
mental
health
services
in
the
community,
so
they're
also
talking
about
those
entities
of
non-profit
non-profits,
are
having
the
same
kind
of
problem
that
Counties
have
exactly
yeah.
My
counterparts.
D
U
Yeah,
it's
very
sadly
said
that
funding
is,
you
know,
they're
getting
quite
a
bit
of
funding,
for
you
know
many
programs
that
are
well
needed
throughout
our
communities
and
they
just
can't
understand
it.
So
they're
trying
some
incentives
and
they're
they're,
it's
a
very
committed
board
and
they
are
working
very
hard
as
the
county
is
to.
A
Communication
District,
where
you
have
one
and
every
commitment
has
been
given
a
copy
of
a
resolution
that
was
passed
by
the
mayor's
Association
I'm,
going
to
ask
at
this
time
that
we
not
commented
I'd
like
to
discuss
the
issue
with
a
solid
wage
committee
first
and
discuss
it,
discuss
it
there
first
as
to
different
options,
we
may
do
there
along
with
the
solicitor,
so
we
have
another
consideration
anything
else.
A
V
Good
afternoon,
everyone,
my
name,
is
Autumn
Vazquez
and
I
proudly
work
for
the
superintendent
Elections
office
as
a
second
generation
Mexican-American
and
election
worker
I
am
here
to
urge
you
to
hear
my
flight
and
please
consider
raising
our
wages.
According
to
the
Social
Security
Administration,
the
cost
of
living
adjustments
across
the
country
is
8.7
percent.
That's
a
hike
we
haven't
seen
since
the
severe
economic
recession
in
the
early
1980s.
V
V
He
became
a
respected
member
of
police
force
working
as
an
overnight
correctional
officer
in
Trenton,
New
Jersey
until
the
sudden
passing
in
December
of
2019.,
the
devastating
pandemic
of
covid-19
next
shook
the
world.
My
sole
Focus
since
then
has
been
financially
removing
my
mother,
meaning
I
needed
to
find
a
career
with
benefits
and
find
it
fast.
V
After
working
for
the
superintendent
of
Elections
office.
For
nearly
three
years,
I
was
able
to
help
my
mom,
but
now
I
live
paycheck
to
paycheck
I
budget,
the
best
I.
Possibly
can
that
I've
been
told
by
my
family
and
my
friends
that
I
truly
need
to
take
my
skills
elsewhere
if
I
want
to
do
more
than
merely
survive.
V
But
how
do
you
make
that
leap
when
you
are
passionate
about
your
work?
I
love
my
job
and
I
love
serving
Atlantic
County.
My
peers
and
I
work
around
the
clock
tirelessly
to
ensure
the
integrity
and
efficiency
of
each
and
every
election
is
of
hell
or
our
office
is
unique
in
the
way
that
we
endured
back-to-back
elections
during
the,
including
the
implementation
of
early
voting
twice
a
year.
We
are
experiencing
employee
turnover
and
employees
being
recruited
to
higher
paying
counties.
V
V
V
If
that's
okay,
yes
on
behalf
of
one
of
my
on
behalf
of
one
of
my
members
who
could
not
attend
today
in
part
due
to
shyness
and
also
physical
challenge,
I'll
be
sharing
this
on
her
behalf,
but
the
cost
of
living
going
up
more
and
more
each
year,
it's
becoming
difficult
for
me
to
financially
live
as
well
as
physically
as
a
single
38
year.
Old
woman
I
have
to
rent
rooms
from
others,
because
I
cannot
afford
to
pay
the
rent
on
any
apartment
in
the
area.
V
V
That
is
not
an
option
for
me.
I
love,
my
job
working
for
the
superintendent
of
Elections
and
I,
was
raised
with
a
strong
work
ethic.
Some
of
the
rooms
available
for
rent
at
my
budget
level
aren't
the
safest
and
I've
had
to
take
on
side
jobs
to
improve
my
situation,
because
I
have
various
health
challenges.
This
has
taken
a
toll
on
me
physically,
as
well
as
emotionally.
V
Over
the
last
10
years.
My
body
has
a
deteriorated.
Immensely
I
spent
the
better
part
of
two
years
in
some
sort
of
past,
because
I
need
the
additional
income.
I
can't
be
off
my
feet
as
much
as
I
should,
and
this
has
led
me
to
complications
like
infections,
surgeries,
hospitalization
and
more
I'm
working
so
hard,
but
honestly,
I'm
barely
able
to
make
amends
me
some
of
the
months.
V
V
My
name
is
Christy
and
I'm,
a
college
graduate
and
a
single
mother
to
one
child
I
also
work
in
elections
and
I
truly
love
what
I
do,
but
it
has
now
come
to
a
point
where
I'm
going
to
have
to
start
looking
for
a
new
job.
If
something
does
not
change
regarding
our
salaries,
I
will
not
be
the
first
to
have
done
this
and
I'm
sure
I
will
not
be
the
last.
If
something
does
not
change
soon.
V
That
is
not
a
feasible
answer,
even
if
we
wanted
to.
We
can't,
because
all
the
restrictions
and
extra
hours
we
have
to
put
in
throughout
the
year
I
should
not
have
to
choose
between
putting
food
on
the
table
and
eating
my
home.
No
one
is
asking
for
anything
over
the
top.
We
simply
want
to
be
able
to
live
without
having
to
choose
what
builds
a
day
and
what
bills
get
to
linger
to
next
month
and
not
have
to
rack
up
credit
card
debt
just
to
be
able
to
make
ends.
V
G
There
won't
be
any
bashing
of
Commissioners
this
evening,
Mr
Risley.
We
won't
be
any
bashing
of
administration
because
that's
not
what
we
do,
but
we
want
to
plead
to
you
all
and
to
the
administration
that
we
are
in
Dire
Straits.
G
You
know
better
than
we
do
the
lack
of
the
number
of
employees
that
have
left
the
county
in
in
all
aspects
right,
so
we
so
we
know
that,
and
we
know
that
there's
work
that
still
needs
to
be
done
and
I
believe
that
there's
a
God
in
heaven
because
he
didn't
let
us
know,
because
if
it
snowed,
if
it's
snow,
all
your
phones
will
be
blowing
up
and
you
would
have
been
having
some
angry
people,
especially
down
in
Hamilton,
and
you
would
have
to
answer
that
question
of
why
the
snow
didn't
get
up
in
July
of
22.
G
We
approached
a
conversation
with
the
county
in
regards
to
what
can
we
do
with
getting
CDL
drivers?
Okay,
we
talked
about
nurses.
Earlier
we
could
talk
about
laborers.
We
could
talk
about
truck
drivers.
We
could
talk
about.
You
know
clerks,
we're
down
in
every
aspect
of
this
job
and
here's
the
problem
that
we
have
the
problem
that
we.
E
G
to
fix
salaries
for
people
to
get
a
decent
wage.
A
young
lady
gave
me
a
paper
today
and
she
told
me
down
in
Salem
County
for
the
same
job
that
she
does
now
they
started.
Twenty
thousand
I
mean
twenty
dollars
an
hour
right
now
and
we're
still
we're
still
under
minimum
wage
and
I.
Think
at
the
end,
if
you
know,
when
we
do
get
a
contract,
we
might
be
fairly
above
minimum
wage,
but
that's
not
sustainable.
For
someone
to
live
on
I,
don't
know
the
answer.
G
I
do
know
this,
but
I'm
asking
for
you
and
the
county
is
doing
their
due
diligence.
I
get
it
that
two
percent,
and
also
with
the
rising
health
care
costs,
has
taken
us
backwards
and
I.
Don't
think
I'm
telling
you
anything.
You
don't
know,
however,
for
us
to
stay
sustainable
and
have
folks
to
come
and
work
for
the
county
to
get
the
work
done.
G
We're
going
to
have
to
think
differently,
we're
gonna
have
to
think
differently
and
there's
a
rumor
out
there
that
I
made
a
proposal
I'm
not
here,
to
negotiate
a
contract
that
we
build
steps
in
the
contract.
So
we
can
lift
the
contract
over
time
and
I
was
told
that
it
was
too
challenging
for
some
people
in
in
the
county
and
I
and
and
I
take
issue
with
that
and
that's
why
I'm
here
today,
because
I
think
we
really
have
to
think
outside
the
box.
Thank
you.
G
I
really
think
we
have
to
think
outside
the
box.
How
do
we
fix
it?
And
so
what
I
said
to
the
new
attorney?
Who
was
negotiating
the
contract
Joe
where
you
at
Joe
Joe
Moore,
who
I
think
is
a
fine
gentleman
I
think
he's
been
handed
a
bill
of
goods,
though,
because
they
brought
him
in
and
says
yeah
go
get
that
contract
done,
but
with
that
being
said,
I
think
we
have
to
think
differently
and
we
have
to
come
up
with
two
ways
to
keep
people
on.
G
If
our
numbers
are
down
and
and
the
and
the
county
has
purged-
and
we
know
our
numbers
are
down,
then
there's
more
money
that
we
can
put
in
wages
because
we're
still
getting
the
same
work
done
with
the
folks
that
we
have
and
so
I'm
asking
you
and
I
know
you.
You
all
don't
sit
on
that
finance
committee,
but
I'm
asking
you
to
help
us
help.
These
employees
of
yours
help
them,
because
we
can
no
longer
exist.
G
A
W
My
name
is
Ann
Stringer
I'm,
a
clerk
at
Atlanta,
County,
Clerk's,
Office
I'm,
a
shop
steward
for
local
331
at
the
clerk's
office,
and
we
have
been
trying
to
negotiate
score
months
and
months,
trying
to
get
a
better
rate
of
pay
and,
like
Marcus
was
saying
we
were
trying
to
get
the
steps
so
that
we
can
do
the
increases,
because
people
that
are
coming
in
at
the
bottom
are
making
like
more
than
those
at
the
top
and
like
for,
like
being
pushed
over.
W
I've
been
working
for
the
county
for
gosh
11
years,
I
think
11
years
and
I'm
at
maybe
17
an
hour
I'm
making,
like
maybe
32
000,
but
after
taxes.
W
Yeah,
like
Marcus,
had
also
said
about
the
contract,
because
I
do
e-record,
which
is
recording
deeds
and
mortgages
land
land
documents,
and
you
would
think
going
back
to
Kobe,
because
we've
been
here.
All
of
us
have
been
here
for
covert.
W
We
found
out
that
we
were
essential
employees,
a
lot
of
us
when
we
didn't
realize
what
an
essential
employee
was
but
I'm
a
clerk
I
was
like
I
can
see
the
roads
and
the
and
the
the
buildings
people
being
essential
employees,
but
to
be
a
clerk
and
recording
these
mortgages,
everybody
started
to
move
it.
Everybody
started
moving
all
at
once
and
we
got
more
and
more
and
more
and
more
documents
being
e-recorded
and
sent
in
and
just
got
overwhelmed.
W
So
but
that
being
said,
we
had
a
lot
of
work
and
not
a
lot
of
people.
You
can't
even
hire
anybody
because
of
the
rape.
People
are
like
really
like,
and
you
know
we're
here,
because
we
do
like
Autumn
was
saying
we
do
love
our
account.
We
represent
our
account
and
because
of
the
Integrity
of
our
different
departments
represented
here.
We
want
to
stay
here.
We
do.
W
That's
where
I
am
I,
can't
even
get
my
car
fixed
I'm
having
a
problem
paying
my
mortgage
you're,
looking
at
the
faces
of
your
community
and
we're
having
a
problem,
and
it's
like
I
know
you
care,
you
know
you
had
our
votes.
You
know
it's
we're
here.
We
are
your
community
workers.
We
work
with
some
of
your,
your
wives
and
families.
You
know
what
I'm
saying
it's
just
just!
Please
do
more
for
us.
If
you
can
step
up.
W
W
and
they
can't
they
won't
be
able
to
find
two
inches
of
snow.
I
was
like
two
inches.
I
was
like
I,
said
I'm
from
New
Jersey.
We
know
how
to
drive
on
ice,
I
didn't
think
about
the
ice.
The
pack,
the
salt,
the
brining
I,
didn't
think
about
any
of
that.
You
only
have
a
few
of
them.
We
have
the
essential
workers
that
cover
like
when
we're
at
home
and
we're
at
home,
and
not
worrying
about
hunkering
down
hunkering
down
for
a
nor'easter
weather.
We
have
like
the
gentleman
over
there
on
the
corner.
W
X
I
worked
for
the
public
works,
Heritage
I'm,
a
truck
driver
by
trade,
so
my
name
is
Ricky
sessions
in
Atlanta,
County,
45,
50
years
and
I'm
glad
to
work
from
that
encountered,
but
I
mean
I'm.
Looking
at
like
a
bad
case
of
Defense,
you
know
they
understand,
because
they're
underpaid
and
for
some
reason,
I
think
people
just
don't
don't
understand
us.
My
job
is
put
the
britches
on
and
walk
in
the
snow.
X
So
we
you
know
so
we
talk
and
I
I.
It
will
come
before
you
guys.
I
know
it
for
a
fact
and
I'm
hoping
you
guys
will
do
the
right
thing
and
respect
that
what
we
do
we
do
for
you
all
and
we
do
for
you
all
families
make
sure
you
get
where
you
got
to
go
when
the
weather
gets
out
of
control,
we
go
out
and
we
take
care.
X
A
L
Y
Y
We
take
really
good
care.
Our
drivers
take
really
good
care
of
senior
citizens
and
people
with
disabilities,
who
maybe
not
be
a
savior
citizen
day
in
and
day
out,
we
drive
through
the
snow,
the
ice
and
these
buses
that
we
need
new
buses,
we're
not
getting
new
buses.
Our
rate
of
pay
I've
been
with
the
job
for
several
years.
I'm
watching
drivers
go
from
Atlanta
County
to
Salem
County,
Ocean,
County
and
Cape
May
County
to
make
more
money
because
we
only
paid
enough.

I'm

we
all
have
witnessed
inflation

Foreign
I
work
for
the
Atlanta

Public
Works
Hamilton,

I
reside
into
Township
of
Mullica
as
I
have
for
31
years,
and
one
person
on
your
board
knows
how
fiscally
I
live,
knowing
them.
Personally,
since
1999
of
Mr
Levinson's
incorporation,
he
has
streamlined
fiscally
to
keep
this
County
double
a
bond
with
Moody
and
standard
employers,
investment
along
with
the
help
of
Mr
Del

in
the
board.
N
We
have
you've
done
a
great
job
running
our
County,
but
have
taken
a
toll
on
our
great
Workforce
I've,
been
with
Atlanta
County
government
for
eight
years
doing
the
best
I
can
for
our
residents
for
our
workers
and
for
our
board
I'm.
Now
at
16.50
an
hour
I
have
to
pay
my
mortgage
I.
Don't
have
thank
I'm,
very
fiscally
responsible
I,
don't
have
a
vehicle
payment
and
everything,
though
I
know
how
to
budget
my
money
but
I
also
work.
N
Three
jobs
in
the
gentleman
on
your
board
knows
that
I've
had
Mrs
gaddo's
father
in
the
teacher.
She
was
supervisor
of
social
studies,
Phenomenal
Woman.
She
told
me
that
you
have
to
stand
up
for
what
you
believe
in
great
great
educator
and
tonight.
I'm
standing
up
for
what
I
believe
in
I
believe
Atlantic
County
is
a
great
place.
I
believe
in
Atlanta
county
is
a
great
place
to
work
to
live.
N
We
have
great
leaders
what
Mr
battles
did
with
the
sheriff's
department,
streamlining
it
when
he
was
there
with
instrumental
and
keeping
it
going,
but
we
need
to
do
better.
You
stepped
up
with
the
correctional
officers
you
bumped
their
salaries
up
to
40
000,
that's
still
low,
but
they're
topping
out
at
the
regular
correction
officer
at
100,
000.
I
think
they
just
fell
on
the
contract
with
the
sheriff's
department.
N
It
streamlined
that
and
did
a
lot
better
I
think
Mr
schiffler
with
in
negotiating
with
that
everybody
is
doing
better
and
it
feels
like
the
backdrop
here
is
getting
forgotten.
We
also
provide
instrumental
Services
into
getting
people
around
what
they
do
and
thank
God.
We
didn't
have
snow
this
year.
I
could
live
without
it,
but
I
do
believe
that
everybody
on
this
board,
I
do
believe.
Mr,
Del,
Rosso
and
I
do
believe.
Mr
Levinson
will
do
the
right
thing
and
I
appreciate
your
time.
AD
O
And
I've
been
to
the
county
for
33
years,
God
willingness,
September
I'll,
be
35
years,
I
work
for
the
landing
County
Home
Delivery
program,
I
love
my
job
I
was
thinking.
I
said
you
know,
I've
been
a
clerk,
but
13
almost
35
years
and
I
was
talking
to
someone
today
and
I
said
you
know:
I
need
to
move
up
a
little
bit.
You
know
I
mean
I'm,
not
I'm
any
hungry
person,
but
to
be
in
that
same
position
for
all
those
years
come
on.
O
You
know,
I
just
lost
my
husband
21.,
so
I
have
a
mortgage
or
grandkids
and
I
know.
I
could
use
a
little
extra
help.
O
I
want
to
stay
in
my
home,
yeah
I've
known,
you
know,
be
able
to
buy
food
and
things
like
that.
So,
while
I'm
getting
used
to
shopping-
and
you
know
doing
what
I
can
go
to
Aldi's
wherever
I
have
to
go
to
save
some
money,
but
just
you
know,
people
say:
won't
you
retire.
I'd
call
Social
Security
every
day
he
said.
Well,
you
make
too
much
money
because
I
want
to
get
my
husband
supposed
to
be
heard
and
they
said
we
could
only
give
you
255.
That's
how
much
they
give
you
someone
passed
away.
O

We
do
everything
from
crosswalks
who
talk
about

Everything
I'm
on

24

I
came
here
about
four
years
ago.
Came.
E
AC
I
was
an
engineer
in
the
16th
Department
Squadron
and
the
military
taught
me
Brotherhood
and
family
and
more
important
I'm,
one
of
the
only
women
out
of
70
70
men
I'm
out
there
with
the
best
of
them
16
an
hour
before
I
started
here,
I
saved
up
a
down
payment
for
our
house.
AC
AC
We
just
lost
someone
who
had
to
move
across
the
country
because
he
could
sleep
in
a
car
for
a
year
and
then
coming
in
and
doing
the
work
they
do
inhaling
Chemicals
Flat
on
the
roads
and
we're
not
hooked
on
finally
by
the
public
either
it's
not
enough
getting
done,
but
we're
always
out
there
and
it
took
me
a
long
time
to
not
be
embarrassed
to
say.
I
was
making
sixteen
dollars.
E
AC
AC
It's
a
family
and
we
want
to
stick
together.
Sorry,
foreign.
T
E
T
County
I'm,
a
big
guy
I
left
stuff,
realized
that
that's
pretty
much
what
they
do
make
1600
a
month.
1300
of
it
goes
to
rent
I,
have
a
260
dollar
car
payment
or
a
insurance
payment
and
I
have
a
fiance
at
home.
We
have
to
save
up
for
a
wedding,
and
that
leaves
me
about
two
hundred
dollars
to
play
with
I
can
do
nothing
I'm,
26
years
old,
can't
go
to
the
bar
I
can't
afford
beers
can't
afford
nothing
so
I
pretty
much
sit
at
home.
I!
E
T
Going
up
my
lease
is
done
in
April
and
it's
going
up
to
13.50
and
that.
T
Bucks
coming
out
is
hurts
so
much
more
than
I
would
think,
but
I'm
hoping
that
the
new
contract
comes
up.
If,
if
you
guys
have
anything
to
say
in
it
that
would
help
any
anything
would
help
so
much
we're
all
hurt
everybody's
hurting
now,
but
I
said
the
bottom
of
her
a
little
bit
more.
AE
Thank
you,
hello.

degree
for

from
the

I
want
to
speak
on
behalf
of
the

the
drainage
department.
Since
I

once
in
the

for
five

We
dig
the
holes
but
replace
all
the

inside
our

cut
the

open
redo.
All
the
piping
I
make
17
an
hour,
some
of
the
guys
at
Bridge,
don't
even
make
they
make
14.
we're
doing
Labor's
work.
If
not
carbon
shoes
Carpenters
work,
a
heavy
Highway
over
again
paid
minimum
wage
to
do
the
work
of
what
the
laborers
unions
don't
and
these
guys
are
busting
their
they
bust
their
butt
hard
there's
days,
they'll
go
10
12
hours
in
a
day,
just
to
get
the
road
open
up
again
and.
AE
AE
Our
safety
is
always
at
risk
anytime,
we're
out
of
that
truck
or
why
we're
in
that
truck
we're
not
asking
for
much
we're
just
asking
for
a
livable
wage,
so
we
can
pay
our
bills
and
then
our
families,
now
that
we
come
home
safe
for
them
to
keep
us
safe
and
then
make
sure
that
we
come
home.
That's
what
we're
on
okay!
That's
it
foreign.
P
I'm
not
here
to
say
what
department
is
doing.
What
all
I
know
is
that
two
percent
is
less
money
to
take
home
in
which
president
would
be
taking
on
so
gotta
do
better
I
mean
if
you're
saving
the
taxpayers
money.
What
a
week
we
chop
liver
I
mean
the
only
thing
I
want
is
a
fair
pizza,
but
I
don't
work
the
whole
body,
but
I
don't
want
the
crumbs
that
fall
off
around
the
edge
of
the
power
played
either
you
keep
that
be
fair
and
equitable.
That's
all
I
got
to
say.
T
AD
How
you
doing
my
name's
Lori
I'm
from
the
Department
of
Public,
Safety
I,
just
want
to
put
something
in
perspective:
they've
been
trying
to
hire
in
my
office
all
year
and
they're
hiring
at
a
second
level,
not
a
clerk
one,
but
a
clerk.
Two
a
count
clerk
two,
which
means
that
person
has
to
have
at
least
three
years
of
accounting
and
they
are
offering
to
hire
that
person
at
14
44
an
hour.
Now.
AD
Anyone
who
has
children
that
work
on
the
boardwalk
do
they
make
14
44
an
hour,
or
do
they
make
a
little
more
than
that?
You
don't
have
any
offers
we're
getting
to
take
that
job.
No,
so
I've
been
working
by
myself
all
year,
keeping
the
finance
office
of
the
jail
running
me
and
my
boss.
We
sit
down
on
our
desk
in
the
morning
and
we
start
working.
AD
We
get
up
in
the
afternoon
when
it's
time
to
leave
and
we
stop
working
and
our
deaths
are
covered
and
you
want
somebody
to
come
and
take
that
job
for
14
44
an
hour
minimum
wage
is
14
13..
As
of
December
22nd.
We
were
still
hiring
people
here
at
the
county.
We
were
hiring
them
at
27.5
and
we
are
still
paying
them
27.5
for
40
hours
of
work
that
is
below
state
minimum
wage
and
the
County
government,
if
they're
still
paying
them.
I
How
you
doing
my
name
is
Robert

I
work
in
the
heat
management
garage
been
here
for
33
years,
just
want
to
say
a
few
things
here.
The
over
the
years.
The
our
salaries
have
not
even
come
close
to
going
up
for
the
cost
of
living
and
inflation,
and
to
add,
on
top
of
that,
the
costs
of
our
health
benefits,
increasing
compounds
it
yeah
and
while
many
people
may
not
think
about
it,
I'm
thinking
about
it.
I
I
H
S
M
Oh,
my
name
is
Adorama
I've
been
working
for
Atlantic
County
for
11
years
and
my
hey
is
to
say,
but
I've
just
recently
thought
about
taking
up
a
second
job
and
I'm,
not
the
type
of
person
that
speaks
but
for
oneself.
That
much
so
I
like
to
smile
a
lot
but
keep
on
crying
which
I
do
yeah
and
but
I
really
love
working
for
the
town
and
and
then
dedicated.
P
AF
AF
AF
AF
Excuse
me
what
level
Clerk
who
principal
Court
and
I
gotta,
because
sometimes
like
you
know,
move
it
around
so
I
can
see
if
I
can
get
a
little
bit
more
money
here
and
there
you
know,
but
there's
really
nowhere
for
me
for
me
to
go
as
well
as
a
lot
of
our
other
clerks.
They
possibly
committed
Buck.
Now.
AF
AF
AF
So
when
Marcus
talks
about
steps,
we're
trying
to
put
things
in
place
for
our
clothes
to
move
up
so
that
they
can
have
some
way
of
making
more
money,
you
know
I
believe
in
the
county,
but
at
this
point
in
time
now
being
here
this
month,
can
a
lot
of
us
are
starving
and
maybe
y'all
don't
get
that?
Okay,
we
are
starving
a
lot
of
people
working
two
or
three
jobs.
E
AF
Well,
I
cleared
1200
I.
Guess
that's
a
lot,
but
I
cleared
1200.
that
1200.,
okay
and
God
forbid
that
we
do
have
to
pay
for
Aflac
because
we
don't
have
disability.
So
we
have
to
pay
for
that.
Okay,
we
don't
put
any
money
into
disability
state
disability,
so
we
have
to
pay
for
that
and
God
forbid
if
we
want
to
put
a
little
money
to
wage,
whether
Credit,
Union
and
God
forbid.
If
you
got
insurance
here
so
all
I'm
saying
to
you
guys,
could
you
please
help
us
I
know?
AF
We
have
been
to
the
table
multiple
times,
but
Jerry.
We
need
to
put
something
in
place.
I
know
you
were
nice
enough
to
talk
to
us
a
few
years
ago
about
steps
for
the
clerks,
but
you
know
again
I'm
representing
everybody
but
I'm
speaking
about
my
clerks.
It
has
to
be
some
movement.
We
are
dying
and
I'm
telling
you
like
it
is.
We
are
dying
with
everything
in
the
economy
going
up.
We
can't
make
it
we
cannot
breathe.
Can
anybody
breathe?
AF
Some
way
somehow,
because
I
know
the
money's
out
there
I
got
in
trouble
last
night.
I
know
the
money's
out
there.
Can
you
please
find
a
way
to
just
move
our
clerks
up
so
that
they
can
make
money
because
mind
you
I
know
that?
Let
me
just
go
here,
you
know
I
heard
Tammy
talk
to
us
at
negotiations
say
well,
you
got
pension,
you
got
benefits,
I
could
barely
get
four
of
the
benefits.
Number
one
and
two
my
pension
don't
mean
nothing.
Ain't,
no
money.
AG
AG
AG
We
we
have,
you
know
we,
we
have
to
try
better.
We
we
had
you
know
briefly,
you
know,
I
enjoy
my
job
I
like
my
job
when
I
was
staying
here
as
long
as
I
did,
if
I
didn't
enjoy
what
I
do
I'm.
AG
AG
AH
N
AH
That's
the
Department
of
Transportation
for
almost
twenty
thousand
dollars
and
I've
been
here
close
to
20
years.
Now,
it's
ridiculous!
AH
H
I've
been
28
years,
28
years
in
accounts
when
I
start
working
for
the
county,
I
work
for
family
community
developments.
At
this
point,
I'm
a
supervisor
for
the
division
of
facilities
are
working.
Three
different
departments,
I
know
and
I
work
in
all
facilities
that
the
county
have
I,
see
my
co-workers
in
action.
H
H
H
AI
Hello,
I,
don't
work
for
the
county
cover
for
Hamilton
Township
Edward
chattan.
Where
do
you
live
at
work?
I
live
in
Galloway,
Township
and
I
also
have
property
in
Hamilton
Township.
AI
AI
We
we
have
truck
driver
where,
if
you
become
a
truck
driver
with
Helen
Township,
you
have
to
have
a
cdla
in
order
to
get
higher
and
you
have
to
maintain
it.
They
started
with
38
000
a
year,
we're
down
four
people.
We
haven't
been
able
to
fill
them
spots
in
over
a
year.
Why?
Because
anybody's
got
a
CDL
today
is
working
for
some
Trucking
outfit,
making
45
000
under
the
table
or
working
above
the
table
and
making
more
you
got
to
come
up
with
the
times
you
gotta
you
gotta.
AI
If
you
don't
come
up,
nobody's
gonna,
be
there
we
tried,
our
bosses
tried,
hiring
a
person.
It
was
at
a
level
three
rather
than
a
level
two.
If
you
have
your
CDL
and
you
truck
driver,
you
come
into
zip
too
you
get
hired
as
a
one.
You
get
your
license.
You
become
a
two:
they
try
100
somebody
as
a
three
bypass
and
other
people
that
are
twos.
It's
like
you
can't
get
anybody
to
work
that
cheap.
It's
it's
like
pathetic.
You
think,
like
oh
God,
I
got
a
good
job.
AI
Make
half
decent
wages
if
I,
if
I
didn't
come
from
in
the
trades
for
30
years
and
have
a
pension
behind
it,
I
don't
see
how
these
guys
are
ever
going
to
make
it
because
their
pensions
are
squat,
they
need
something
now
they
need
help
now
and
yeah.
It's
tough,
it's
tough
times
all
across
the
whole
nation.
But
the
thing
is
is
that
they
gotta
they
gotta
get
help
and
if
everybody
else
has
to
tighten
their
belts
a
little
bit.
Well,
then
so
be
it
because
none
of
my
bosses
are
hurting.
AI
None
of
them,
I
mean
on
the
union
side
of
it.
You're
you
get
that
you
get
the
the
scraps
off
the
table
on
the
non-union
side
of
it.
They
all
get
raises,
and
they
all
do
very
well.
I,
don't
hear
any
crying!
There's
no
tissues
around
for
that,
but
these
people
there's
thousands
of
them
there.
We
got
a
handful
in
Hamilton
Township
with
all
the
roads
and
everything
else
that
we
do
and
we
get
the
job
done.
But
the
thing
is
to
pay
a
good
wage.
AI
H
K
K
The
other
thing
about
traffic
maintenance,
specifically
our
work,
is
so
important.
We
provide
to
assigns
traffic
signals
basement
markings
information.
Subscribers
can
make
good
decisions
going
down
the
highway
to
avoid
collisions,
so
they
don't
have
to
go
visit,
a
trauma,
surgeon
or
worst
case
scenario,
the
coroner's
office,
so
we're
entitled
on
money.
R
18
in
cable,
I
know
a
lot
about
contracts
and
how
much
we
spent
in
sat
the
last
four
I've
been
in
public
works
as
an
account
Clerk
or
account
Clerk,
so
I'm
still
under
fifty
thousand
dollars.
I
think
our
Point
here
is
that
we
have
a
lot
of
different
departments.
We
have
a
lot
yeah
facilities,
we've
got
Transportation,
we've
got
Public
Works,
we've
got
traffic,
roads
and
bridges,
White
Collar,
blue
color,
I
think
there's
some
clerical
nurses,
there's
facilities,
Sheriff's
Department
the
jail
clerks
telecommunicators.
R
We
are
the
foundation
of
the
county.
We
are
the
roots
of
what
you
guys.
Do
we
hold
it
we
make
just
like
someone
else
said
we
make
everybody
look
good.
We
are
the
ones
that
push
through
it.
We
are
the
ones
who
know
the
system
inside
and
out.
We
know
our
jobs
inside
out
they're
out
there
getting
dirty
sweaty,
passing
out
almost
getting
hit
by
cars.
R
They
don't
get
Hazard
pay,
they
barely
get
anything
to
survive
for
their
family,
let
alone
if
you've
got
kids
I
think
the
bottom
line
is
that
we
just
don't
need
help.
We
need
significant
help.
Four
percent
really
wouldn't
do
it
six
percent,
probably
won't
do
it
either.
Taxes
are
going
to
go
up.
Pension.
Z
R
Is
going
to
go
up
now,
your
health
benefits
is
going
up.
Where
do
you
start
I
think
this
has
to
be
a
real
good
three-year
Lookout
and
we
need
to
really
plan
accordingly
with
how
these
guys
are
being
moved.
I'm,
just
not
speaking
for
myself,
but
these
guys
are
dying
out
here.
They
really
are
I,
guess,
that's
it
I,
don't
know
what
else
to
say:
yeah.
E
R
W
The
transfer
here
again
and
I,
just
oh,
when
someone
was
talking
they
had
mentioned
you
know,
but
the
increases
we
have
the
tiers
of
benefits,
so
that
can
be
addressed
like
from
the
somebody
can
represent
us
at
the
state
level
about
chapter
78,
where
we
have
the
tears
like
the
more
you
make,
the
more
they
think
the
more
you
make,
the
more
they
take,
the
more
you
make
and
the
more
they
take
the
more
you
make,
the
more
they
take
and
so
on
and
so
forth.
W
I
think
up
to
35,
if
I'm
not
mistaken,
for
the
the
employees
here
and
the
other
thing
that
I
have
is
not
related.
W
I
had
emailed
all
the
Commissioners
at
the
beginning
of
the
year
and
thank
you
Karen
and
John,
and
everybody
here,
I
sent
you
about
the
the
streets,
the
lights
on
the
streets
and
the
the
the
safety
issues
for
our
community,
not
just
our
our
workers,
but
also
the
entire
Community
I
I,
don't
know!
W
If
you
remember
the
beginning
of
the
year,
the
very
beginning
of
the
year,
Aaron
and
I
sent
you
the
email
about
the
darkness
of
the
streets,
sidewalks
that
are
needed
in
the
entire
community,
and
that
being
said,
it
would
all
probably
revert
back
to
the
county
and
the
Department
of
Transportation
and
each
municipality
that's
represented
here
and
which
would
also
be
the
county
employees
where
the
front
line
would
be
on
the
street
and
out
there,
unfortunately,
risking
their
lives,
like
someone
had
just
said
and
I
didn't
realize.
W
I
always
moved
to
the
left.
If
it
was
an
officer,
if
there's
anybody,
if
there's
somebody
just
broken
down
the
side
of
the
road,
I,
always
move
left.
Not
everybody
does
that
my
daughter
on
a
very
dark
Street
I
just
want
to
use
one
it's
for
example,
and
Hamilton
waiting
through
where
the
blueberry
fields
are
her
car
broke
down
on
the
side
of
the
road,
a
black
car,
on
the
side
of
the
road
at
dusk,
coming
from
the
train
station
and
she's
on
the
side
of
the
road.
W
Now
you
would
think
people
would
move
all
the
way
to
collapsing
a
little
black
car
I'm
sitting
there
I
got
there
came
from
work.
The
clerk's
office
and
sat
behind
her
with
my
hazards
on
I
can
feel
you
don't
have.
When
somebody
goes
past,
you
really
fast.
You
can
feel
that
that's
how
close
they
were
so
I.
Don't
know
they
were
talking
about
safety.
So
that's
also
an
issue
for
us
besides
the
contract.
Thank
you.
That's
all
I
have
you
know.
A
A
A
G
So
let
me
first
of
all
I
agree
with
our
chairman.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
thank
you
so
much
for
coming
trust
us
trust
me,
I
can
tell
you
I.
Think
most
of
my
colleagues
with
the
Greeks
we've
said
during
the
budget
process.
Last
year
we
talked
on
budget
committees.
This
year
we've
had
conversations
with
the
administration.
I've
had
a
number
of
conversations
with
Marcus
and
others
you
get
to
the
table
come
no.
So
let
me
let
me
back
up
nobody's
getting
100
percent.
G
G
G
It
I
noticed
that's
something
all
everybody
wants
to
hear
at
the
end
of
the
day,
I
work
with
a
number
of
you
in
public
works,
Rose
and
bridges.
I
get
it
man
really
listen.
We
just
Rubble
all
day
long
out
the
other
road,
but
we
go
way
back
and
I
get
it.
Marcus
will
tell
you
when
I
was
in
in
public
works
in
the
county.
G
We
used
to
rumble
all
day
long,
but
at
the
end
of
the
day,
when
the
rubber
meets
the
road,
you're
right
folks
still
got
to
take
any
families
they
still
gotta.
G
You
got
to
keep
your
CDL
to
get
you
a
bonus
at
the
end
of
the
year,
all
that
good
stuff,
and
so
at
the
end
of
the
day,
even
with
the
budget
chairwoman
and
members
of
this
board,
when
we
sit
down
talk
to
the
administration,
we
trying
to
figure
out
contracts,
Jerry
comes
back,
give
and
take
the
unions
come
back
and
it's
just
not
331
it's
63
and
a
whole
bunch
of
other
years
right.
G
So
it's
a
whole
lot
of
give
and
take
and
I
hear
you
I
feel
the
pain,
listen,
I'm,
a
kid
that
came
off
the
back
of
my
dad's
trash
show
who
the
hell
would
have
thought
I'd
be
here
today
right
so
I
get
it
I
understand,
I
came
to
work
and
Jerry
bear
witness.
I
came
to
work
when
I
lost
my
job
in
the
city
at
20,
500.
man,
I,
thought
I
was
making
some
money
right.
What
happened?
Was
it
kept
me
in
the
pension
system?
G
G
Danny
Levinson
was
the
only
guy
that
remembered
my
name
when
I
was
out
of
a
job
didn't
have
to,
but
he
did
kept
me
independent,
kept
my
health
benefits,
but
again
I
came
here.
Twenty
thousand
five
hundred
dollars
didn't
know
a
damn
bit
about
diving,
a
dump
truck
and
she
really
kept
telling
me
what
I
better
do
or
what
I
did
not
do.
G
G
You
never
know
when
you're
going
to
go
home
at
the
end
of
the
day,
the
job
is
to
get
the
roads
open,
make
it
safe,
like
you
said,
for
all
of
us,
I
get
it
and
I
believe
all
my
colleagues
get
it
and
listen
we're
going
to
be
talking
to
the
administration
through
the
budget
committee
through
your
union
reps
again,
I'm
telling
you
as
Ernest,
of
course,
he's
senior
nobody's
getting
100.
The
question
at
the
end
of
the
day
is:
where
can
we
meet
at
the
middle?
G
It's
got
to
be
a
common
ground
right
and
you
do
the
steps
and
you
got
to
work
a
towards
that
and
so
I'm
not
giving
you
no
political
speech
I'm
not
running
and
at
the
end
of
the
day,
I
think.
All
of
my
colleagues
understand
most
of
us
got
second
jobs,
but
as
elected
officials,
we
hear
you
we're
going
to
try
to
do
our
part
I'm,
not
promising
you.
Absolutely
nothing.
I'll
make
no
promises.
I
can't
I
keep.
However,
I
will
put
my
best
foot
forward
and
again
I.
G
Think
I
can
say
that
for
all
my
colleagues
they
get
it
and
with
chairwoman
gather
with
them,
she
don't
let
a
nickel
get
by
you
and
she
gonna
make
everything
be
accountable.
G
I
said
that
to
say,
I
think,
there's
a
good
working
relationship
between
the
unions
and
the
administration,
and
then
the
administration
comes
to
the
Commissioners,
and
then
we
all
have
to
make
a
decision
where
we're
going.
That's
my
commitment
to
you
but
I
want
to
let
you
know,
I
really
appreciate
you
coming
out,
I
hear
you
loud
and
clear,
and
it's
a
good
start.
You
got
to
start
somewhere,
the
old
people
used
to
say
in
order
to
start
the
Thousand
Mile
Journey,
you
got
to
take
the
first
step.
G
I
can't
commend
your
president
of
your
union
enough
she's,
always
on
the
phone,
whether
it's
at
City
Hall
or
whether
it's
at
the
county
he's
always
got
our
ESL
I
know
he's
representing
y'all
those
who
are
under
the
teamsters
and
all
the
others
unions.
So
again,
I
think
this
is
good.
Dialogue,
I,
think
it's
a
good,
healthy
conversation
and
I
think
Market
started
out
when
he
came
in.
He
wasn't
bashing.
Nobody
I
got
to
tell
y'all
it's
the
first
time.
G
Marcus
ain't
banished
me
in
a
long
time,
and
but
he
bashes
me
with
love.
The
fact
of
the
matter
is
is
that
we've
got
to
see
where
we
can
meet
and
make
everybody
feel
comfortable
at
the
end
of
the
day.
So
you
can
continue
to
take
care
of
your
families
put
food
on
your
table.
Nobody
should
worry
about,
am
I
gonna
lose
my
house.
Well,
I
got
to
pay
a
car
insurance.
G
Do
I
pick
up
the
my
prescription
that
kind
of
stuff
yeah
we
in
2023,
and
we
still
talking
about
stuff
from
1975.,
correct.
G
So
that
that's
my
still
Mr
chairman,
thank
you
so
much
for
your
time.
Anybody.
D
Mr,
chairman
yeah,
so
this
isn't
the
first
time
when
we
had
a
lot
of
County
Employees
come
in
during
the
negotiations
back
and
forth,
with
the
with
the
covered
pay
and
you
know,
sit
and
and
listen
it's
heartbreaking.
You
know
your
our
crucial
asset.
You
know
here
in
the
county
and
listening
to
the
the
wages
that
you're
making
I
want
to
drive.
D
You
know
a
job
by
the
sign
of
McDonald's,
like
you
said,
McDonald's
18
an
hour
now
granted,
there's
no
pension,
there's
no
benefits;
okay,
but
you're,
paying
a
portion
towards
your
your
benefits.
Some
of
my
past
employers
when
I
was
a
sheriff
for
sitting
here
and
you
know
I,
you
know
negotiated
with
with
Marcus
when
I
was
the
sheriff
and
you
know
they're
trying
to
get
you
know
better
salaries
for
them,
and
it's
tough
I'm
not
on
the
budget
committee.
D
If
it
means
that
the
the
you
know
our
tax
rate
has
to
go
up
a
little
bit,
we
got
to
take
care
of
our
employees.
We
said
that
last
year,
I
know
it's
great
to
be
able
to
say:
hey
we're
at
you
know:
zero
increase.
You
know
people
love
to
hear
that
but
like
as
I
said
three
or
four
times
today,
it's
on
your
backs,
you
know,
nobody
should
have
to.
D
You
know
worry
about
whether
they're
gonna
pay
their
mortgage
or
eat.
Let
alone
you
know.
Maybe
kick
somebody
out
to
dinner,
you
know
or
go
to
the
movies.
It's
it's
hard,
I
feel
so
bad
for
you
guys
and
I'm,
not
sure
how
many
people
are
in
this
contract.
That's
all,
but.
E
AF
D
That
there's
about
300
vacancies
here
in
the
county-
hopefully
there
isn't
any
more
and
hopefully
we
can
start
I
know.
Joe
has
been
working
to
try
and
with
each
contract
raise
the
salary
results
so
I'm.
So
you
know
as
the
different
contracts
go
and
hopefully
that's
you
know,
maybe
the
direction
this
one's
going
in
I.
D
Don't
because
we're
not
involved
in
negotiations
and
don't
have
to
say
I,
don't
know
how
far
along
you
are,
whether
your
contract's
six
months
old
or
two
years
old
I,
don't
know
but
I
just
wish
you
the
best
I
I
mean
I,
think
you're,
I
I
know
most
of
you
by
face
and
by
mostly
by
name
and
I,
think
you
all
do
a
great
job
and
you
do
all
make
us
look
good
and
we
appreciate
it
and
I
just
wish
that
we
had
more
of
a
say
as
to
you
know
what
we
can
do
for
our
employees,
but
I
do
appreciate
you
all
coming
out
and
don't
be
strangers,
sir
every
other,
every
other
Tuesday
so
come
visit
us.
AB
AB
Some
with
a
college
degree
I
mean
it's
horrible,
I'm,
sorry,
Jerry,
I,
I
know
it's
not
just
you
I
know,
but
that's
just
horrible
and,
like
commissioner
ballast
said,
if,
if
we
have
to
pay
a
little
more
or
keep
it
even
to
where
it
was
I,
think
that
comes
out
to
like
forty
dollars
a
house.
But
that
means
a
lot
to
the
people
standing
in
this
room
and
the
people
that
they
represent.
