From YouTube: Backdrop outreach 10/6
Description
Today’s outreach agenda: http://bit.ly/2deAVSf
A
Hey:
okay,
we're
on
air
happy
october.
Sixth,
everybody!
It's
a
new
month.
It's
very
exciting.
We're
going
to
do
a
little
run-through
of
tests
that
backdrop
CMS
needs
to
do
to
help
improve
community
outreach.
The
goal
for
this
meeting
is
to
get
more
people
talking
about
back
job.
We've
got
a
list
of
things.
We
know
we
need
to
work
on
and
we
are
looking
for
volunteers
to
help
us
achieve
these
goals.
A
If
you
or
anyone
you
know
or
love,
is
interested
in
helping
us
with
outreach,
it's
a
great
place
for
people
who
aren't
developers
to
contribute.
There
are
a
lot
of
management
style
tasks
that
we
could
use
assistance
with.
Rather
than
doing
things
just
finding
people
to
do
things
is
really
what's
what's
most
important.
So
if
you
want
to
volunteer
it's
a
great
place
to
jump
in
the
first
item
we
need
help
with
is
managing
our
newsletter.
A
We've
got
a
one
schedule
that
will
be
an
announcement
about
back
to
1.5,
which
just
came
out
that
newsletter
should
go
out
as
soon
as
we
release
back
up.
One
point
five
point:
one
one
point
five
point:
one
will
be
pushed
to
pantheon
what's
on
the
newsletter
and
then
anyone
who
wants
to
give
back
drop
a
try
can
try
it
on
pantheon
on
they'll,
see
the
latest
changes
in
15
right
now.
I,
don't
think
the
latest
changes
to
15
are
on
pantheon.
A
We're
talking
about,
and
we
would
love
to
get
somebody
else
who,
even
if
you
don't
have
any
experience
with
MailChimp
who
is
interested
in
writing
and
managing
the
sending
of
these
newsletters
for
the
most
part
they
get
drafted
before.
Whatever
thing
it
is
that's
coming
up,
and
then
they
get
scheduled
to
get
released
after
whatever
thing
it
is,
that's
coming
up
and
right
now
the
things
that
are
triggering
the
setting
of
the
newsletter.
We
try
and
do
it
once
a
month.
A
But
if
there
is
something
like
a
new
release
the
backdrop
coming
up,
then
it
ends
up
waiting
until
the
release
gets
pushed
over
and
can
see
it.
We
also
would
love
to
have
somebody
be
responsible
for
blog
posts
on
backdrop,
seamaster
org,
and
that
doesn't
mean
hate
to
write
all
of
them.
That
just
means
you
need
to
reach
out
to
people
in
our
community
you're,
doing
cool
things
and
ask
them
to
share
the
things
they're
doing
the
rest
of
the
community
by
writing
a
post
on
the
blog.
B
A
Announcement
about
the
release
of
backdrop
15
with
animated
gifs,
showing
off
the
cool
new
things
it
can
do,
and
that
is
the
next
one
coming
up.
But
if
anyone
has
anything
that
is
more
urgent
or
needs
to
go
up
sooner,
I
blog
posts
don't
have
to
be
published
in
order,
it's
good
that
they're
out
when
it's
relevant.
So
if
anything
cool
happens,
we
want
to
share
it.
I
think
that
can
get
jump
to
the
top
of
the
queue.
A
So
if
somebody
is
paying
attention
with
what's
going
on
in
Bactra
and
wants
to
tap
somebody
who's
doing
cool
things
on
the
shoulder
to
share
what
they're
working
on,
we
would
love
to
get
more
news
from
more
people.
On
the
blog
we
have
a
couple
of
people
who
are
working
on
videos
about
backdrop,
which
is
really
great
I.
A
So
anyone
who
wants
to
manage
videos
we
can
put
charge
of
the
backdrop
youtube
channel
anything
is
relevant.
We
can
definitely
put
in
our
feed
we're
also
looking
at
getting
some
new
swag
for
backdrop.
We
are
have
attempted
to
order
t-shirts
that
should
be
here
in
time
for
bad
camp
I
haven't
heard
back
from
our
contact
at
the
t-shirt
vendor
yet,
but
I'll
follow
up
with
her
today
and
make
sure
we
can
get
those
in
time.
We
also
are
missing
hoodies
in
size
large,
which
is
our
most
popular
size.
A
So
I've
asked
her
if
we
can
order
like
a
small
run
of
those
or
if
we
have
a
minimum
number,
that's
required
for
us
to
order,
there's
a
minimum
number.
We
can't
afford
to
do
a
lot
of
them
right
now.
So
we'll
wait
and
say
sorry
guys.
We
can't
buy
more
large
size
hoodies,
but
we
have
some
extra
larges
and
some
extra
actual
arches
and
some
mediums
and
some
sauce
we'll
try
and
get
rid
of
those
first
and
hopefully,
that'll
give
us
Tony
to
buy
more
largest
I.
A
Don't
know
if
there's
anything
else,
we
need
to
order.
We
do
have
a
template
now
for
business
cards,
so
anyone
who
wants
a
business
card
that
has
their
backdrop
specific
information
on
it
with
maybe
a
link
to
back
trip
see
mr.
org.
So
you
can
tell
people
about
backed
up
and
handed
information
about
packaged
up.
We
have
a
design
template
that
we
can
use.
Anyone
can
fill
up
read
their
own
information.
A
I
was
thinking
that
if
we
had
a
bunch
of
people
who
wanted
them
all
at
the
same
time,
we
could
order
a
bunch
in
time
for
bad
camp
and
have
them
all
kind
of
come
together
and
we
might
be
able
to
save
on
costs.
That
way,
we
have
not
been
making
a
bunch
of
progress
to
getting
those
done.
So
I
would
say
at
this
point
we're
just
a
couple
weeks
away
from
bad
camp.
Maybe
we
should
just
have
anyone
order
their
own.
A
So
if
you
want
your
own,
we
can,
we
can
just
say
here's
the
file
fill
out
your
name
and
your
twitter
handle
or
github
user
name
or
whatever
you
want
on
there
and
then
order
from
this
different
or
wherever
you
order.
Your
business
cards
that's
an
option.
It's
not
something
we
actively
working
on.
A
We
also
have
a
section
here
to
talk
about
advertising
to
see
if
we
wanted
to
find
a
better
way
to
get
people
who
are
interested
in
a
PHP,
open
source
content
management
systems
to
know
about
backdrop,
we're
doing
pretty
well
in
Google
search
if
you
search
specifically
for
backdrop,
but
if
you
don't
know
what
backdrops
name
is
and
you're
just
searching
for
content
management
systems,
we
don't
come
up
particularly
well.
A
I
think
it'll
be
great
if
we
could
use
some
ads
that
are
targeted
specifically
to
people
who
are
looking
for
Drupal
alternatives
or
Drupal
comparisons.
So
if
there's
some
way
that
we
can
kind
of
leverage
the
language
around,
that
would
be
great
but
I'm,
not
an
expert
in
advertising,
knowing
how
to
set
things
up,
how
much
we
need
to
budget.
What's
you
know,
there's
a
whole
bunch
of
information
and
we
need
to
research
before
we
can
actually
just
throw
money
at
this
problem
to
figure
out.
A
You
know
what
what
towards
we
should
be
targeting
and
where
we
should
be
advertising.
We've
got
some
pretty
good
ideas
about
doing
targeted
advertising
on
specific
websites
where
we
know
that
our
users
are
as
well
as
Google.
You
know,
search
terms
would
be
something
to
figure
out,
but
it
does
sound
like
we've
decided
not
to
advertise
the
fate
with
Facebook,
because
we
think
that
might
be
too
evil.
A
So,
for
starters,
are
we
great
to
have
somebody
do
some
research
into
figuring
out
what
our
budget
should
be
so
that
we
can
decide
if
we
have
enough
money
to
invest
in
advertising
in
first
place
or
if
it
becomes
priority?
We
need
to
know
how
much
we
need
to
budget
to
set
up
for
that
sort
of
thing,
so
social,
anyone
who
is
really
interested
in
it
online
advertising
and
wants
to
do
some
research
or
someone
who
already
knows
and
can
tell
us
what
we
should
do,
how
much
we
should
plan
on
budgeting.
A
A
All
right
so
offense
events
are
how
we
currently
are
spreading
the
word
about
a
backdrop.
We
go
to
events
that
are
specifically
for
Drupal.
We
also
sometimes
go
to
events
that
are
not
specifically
for
Drupal
and
we
try
and
talk
to
people
there
about
actor
up
and
make
sure
they
know
that
it's
a
thing,
and
it
would
be
great
if
we
had
some
people
who
knew
which
kind
of
events
would
be
great
for
vectra
to
attend,
I
mean
obviously
Drupal.
A
Events
are
high
priorities
for
us,
because
this
is
a
fork
of
Drupal
and
our
primary
user
base
is
Drupal,
but
going
forward,
that's
not
going
to
be
where
we're
going
to
be
gaining
the
most
people.
I
think
it'll
be
great.
If
we
went
to
PHP
conferences,
I
think
would
be
great
if
we
went
to
open-source
conferences,
I
think
of
a
great
CMS
conferences,
and
so
it's
got
a
couple
on
the
list
of
things
that
we
maybe
should
be
attending.
A
There
is
a
PHP
conference,
it
I
think
it
might
be
the
same
week
is
bad
camp,
maybe
not,
but
there's
one
in
in
eat,
on
the
east
coast
of
thing.
In
Washington
DC
this
fall,
so
if
we
have
anyone
who's
in
that
area
and
wants
to
attend
that
conference,
it
would
be
great
if
we
could
talk
them
into
going
on
and
giving
a
talk
on
factor
up
there,
if
possible,
maybe
too
late
to
get
a
talk
in
but
talking
to
people.
A
lot
of
backdrop
is
probably
good
enough.
A
B
A
It's
another
one:
bad
Kiev
is
another
one:
we're
going
to
be
making
a
big,
showing
a
bad
camp
this
year
with
a
summit
on
thursday
at
training
on
Friday
in
a
session
on
sunday.
So
it's
a
great
a
great
place
for
anyone
who
is
interested
in
attending
and
talking
about
backdrop
to
come.
We
are
having
quite
flushed
out
the
agenda
for
the
summit,
but
we've
got
a
bunch
of
great
speakers.
Lined
up.
We've
got
someone
giving
a
demo
on
cala
box
I'm
trying
it's
an
in
Theon
we've
got
a
site
owner.
A
We've
got
a
developer.
We've
got
people
just
kind
of
talking
about
why
backdrop
is
important,
which
I
think
will
be
compelling
for
our
attendees
and
we're
gonna
squeeze
them
in
when
we
previously
had
done
training
material,
because
the
training
is
not
going
to
be
all
on
training
day
on
Friday
instead,
other
things
I
mean
I,
don't
know
what
we
should
be
doing
at
events.
I
I
feel
like
it's
open
up
for
discussion
like
if
we
go
to
oz
con
like
should
we
get
a
booth
stuff
like
that?
A
We've
been
trying
not
to
do
booths
or
any
kind
of
advertising
at
triple
conferences,
because
it
needs
to
feel
not
like
we're
advertising
to
people
at
Drupal
conferences,
but
that
were
collaborating
with
people
just
because
we're
trying
to
tread
super
softly
in
Drupal
community
right
now,
but
I,
don't
think
that
is
going
to
be
an
issue
at
a
larger
environment
in
a
conference
for
open
source
software
like
there's,
no
reason
we
can't
have
booths.
A
So
that's
something
to
keep
in
mind
going
forward,
and
if
these
things
have
budgets
associated
with
them,
we
need
to
figure
that
out
and
figure
out
if
we
need
to
worry
about
a
budget
for
that
job
so
far
are
expensive,
basically
been
coasting
and
then
ordering
t-shirts
and
that's
kind
of
it.
But
if
we
start
having
things
like
advertising
and
conference
expenses
where
we
need
to
pay
for
booths
or
if
we
need
a
booth
set
up,
that's
something
that's
not
something!
A
We've
considered,
it
might
be
valuable,
but
we
should
should
get
it
into
a
budget
so
that,
if
we
need
to
start
raising
money,
we
can
work
on
that
as
well
all
right
website.
So
this
is
probably
the
one
thing
that
we
have.
The
most
control
over
right
now
is
getting
backdrop
CMS
org
to
be
somewhere
where
we
want
it
to
be
right
now.
I
think.
The
thing
we
need
most
on
the
website
is
the
showcase.
We
have
some
content.
We
have
some
designs.
A
Optimization
I've,
given
a
couple
I've
had
a
couple
of
talks
with
some
SEO
experts
from
Drupal
land
and
we're
basically
missing
a
bunch
of
modules
for
backdrop
that
are
related
to
SEO
that
if
we
happen,
we
could
just
throw
on
the
website
and
they
would
help
us
out,
but
I
think
we
also
need
kind
of
someone
with
an
eye
to
how
to
make
our
content
more
search
friendly.
To
do
things.
Like
add,
add
text
in
places
that
could
be
valuable.
A
So
if
we
have
anyone
who
wants
to
kind
of
do
a
SEO
pass,
I
think
optimizing
your
site
for
search
more
about
content
management.
More
about
open
source
would
be
great
to
get
on.
There
I
think
it's
also
really
important.
If
we
added
more
useful
information
about
why
people
should
choose
backdrop,
it's
very
much.
A
Factual,
but
not
sales
pitch
II
right
now
and
I
think
that
some
people
need
the
sales
pitch
and
I've
got
a
meeting
with
Jordan
who's.
A
marketing
guy
met
drupalcamp
la
he's,
a
pretty
big
deal
in
Drupal
cutie,
but
met
him
recently.
Drupalcamp
al
I
got
a
meeting
with
them.
I
think
it's
next
thursday
I
invited
west
to
at
weston.
A
He'll
help
us
figure
out
how
to
rewrite
some
of
the
content
in
the
terminology
that
is
most
useful
for
the
people
who
are
after
it.
It's
also
a
couple
of
other
things
that
we
should
be
working
on
on
the
website.
We've
got
an
issue,
not
sure
which
q
it's
in
it
might
be
in
the
back
from
CMS
to
org.
A
Where
that's
valuable.
We
also
have
a
support
section
of
the
site,
which
is
going
to
be
more
and
more
important
for
new
people
and
there's
been
a
but
a
ton
of
great
progress.
Going
on
there
lately
we're
working
on
documentation
which
town
thank
you
so
much
for
doing
all
the
editing
on
it
that
you've
been
doing.
A
We've
got
an
English
professor
you're,
some
kind
of
an
English
expert,
doing
our
grammatical
updates
and
asking
questions
hard
questions
we
don't
understand,
like
which
kind
of
English
language
do
we
want
to
use,
but
yeah
I,
just
so
grateful
to
have
you
working
on
that
the
documentation
is
super
extensive
and
thorough
and
I
think
if
we
can
get
kind
of
the
language
clear
around
that
as
well
that'll
be
great.
We
just
have
to
make
it
a
little
bit
more
approachable
and
less
kind
of
I.
A
Don't
know
intense
for
people
who
are
just
scanning
it
for
answers.
I
think
it's
going
to
be
fantastic
when
we
get
it
done
we're
also
soon
as
documentation
and
the
showcase
are
done.
It's
a
third
item
on
our
list
is
setting
up
a
forum.
We
need
to
create
a
safe
place
for
back
job
users
to
be
able
to
talk
to
each
other
and
ask
questions
right
now.
The
only
place
we
really
have
for
that
is
on
github
and
it's
not
always
the
best
place
to
have
those
kind
of
conversations.
A
It's
also
very
develop
or
focused
and
not
super
inviting
people
aren't
developers
and
I
know.
Doc.
Well,
has
done
a
ton
of
great
work
on
porting
the
Drupal
forum
module
to
backdrop.
There's
a
kinship
project,
there's
a
for
request
in
the
queue
just
that
he
could
get
a
sandbox
to
show
it
to
people
and
see
how
it
worked.
I
think
that's,
probably
the
approach
we're
going
to
take
with
getting
forum,
setup,
I'm,
active
CMS
to
org.
It's
just
not
not
quite
as
high
priority.
A
Some
of
these
other
items
just
a
little
sad,
because
I
think
the
people
there
are
people
who
would
really
benefit
from
it.
If
we
had
more
people
who
work
on
the
website
more
time,
which
is
always
the
thing
finding
people
with
time,
we
get
definitely
prioritize
more
of
these
items
at
once.
So
if
you
want
to
work
on
Petrov,
CMS
org
rather
than
backdrop
itself,
there's
definitely
a
bunch
of
great
tasks
there.
It
could
be
tackled
like
working
on
the
showcase
or
on
theming
the
documentation
pages
or
any
any
of
that
we
can
get
going.
A
We
also
have
started
thinking
about
re
architecting,
the
content,
the
menu,
the
home
page,
creating
landing
pages,
creating
like
search
rich
pages
that
people
would
hopefully
lien
on
from
google.
That
would
then
help
drive
them
to
the
information
they're
trying
to
find
this
is
all
content
magic
that
I
don't
really
understand
how
to
get
people
to
where
they
should
be
I'm
hoping
our
meeting
with
Jordan
will
shut
a
little
light
on
how
we
can
get
from
where
we
are
now
where
we
need
to
be
on
in.
A
Hopefully,
we
can
find
some
people
with
some
time
to
work
on
that
as
well,
and
hopefully
that
will
help
get
get,
get
us
higher
in
search
rankings,
but
all
more
importantly,
the
information
that
people
need,
get
it
to
them
more
efficiently.
Weiss
also
set
up
some
great
analytics
dashboards
based
on
our
Google
Analytics
code.
That'll
help
show
us
who's
on
our
website.
What
they're
doing
there
we've
got.
A
One
dashboard
set
up
for
backdrop
CMS
to
org
and
one
for
API
def
backdrop
CMS
torque,
and
if
anyone
is
interested
in
those,
the
documents
are
public
that
they
have
crazy
links
to
them.
You
can
find
the
links
in
the
agenda
for
this
meeting.
If
you
are
watching
this
video
later
I,
don't
know
where
to
tell
you
to
find
them.
Oh
there
is
a
in
the
youtube
video
description.
There
is
a
link
to
the
agenda
and
that's
probably
the
easiest
way
to
get
to
it.
A
It's
a
google
talk,
so
it'll
be
hard
to
find
later,
but
the
the
analytics
are
there.
If
we
have
anyone
who
understands
the
analytics
and
can
help
us
kind
of
figure
out
what's
wrong
with
the
site
is
is
now
and
what
what
it
is
we
should
be
changing.
We've
got
some
great
reports
that
we
can
watch
to
see
if
we
are
actually
aiming
towards
those
goals
or
moving
towards
those
goals.
A
So
that's
what
we're
working
on
in
outreach
and
I
think
our
biggest
shortcoming
in
our
reach
in
general
is
that
we
have
a
lot
of
things.
We
know
we
should
be
doing
and
we
aren't
doing
any
of
them,
because
we
have
a
lot
of
other
things.
We
are
also
doing
so.
Finding
people
to
help
take
over
some
of
these
items,
I
think,
is
highest
on
my
priority
list,
but
knowing
we
have
a
shortage
of
people,
is
there
anything
else?
We
should
talk
about
that.
A
We
should
be
thinking
about,
even
if
we
can't
actually
do
it
yet
something
to
put
on
our
raider.
That
would
help
improve
spreading
the
word
about
back
drought.
C
C
Unmuted
in
the
case
that
we
discussed
something
but
I
can't
have
anything,
I
do
know
that
delegating
helps
a
lot
with
this
and
so
yeah,
like
you
mentioned,
I'm
going
to
post
what
I
have
of
the
release
notes
for
15
and
then
turn
that
over
probably
to
Gregory
to
have
him.
Take
a
look
at
that,
because
I
haven't
actually
written
up
the
text.
A
Very
well
what
I
would
like
to
do
today
is
make
some
progress
on
the
showcase
section
of
the
site,
at
least
if
we
could
get
it
to
some
point
where
to
turn
it
over
to
someone
to
reveal
and
get
some
feedback
on
it,
and
we
have
to
cyan't,
have
content
I
feel
like.
B
A
A
A
C
A
Okay,
do
you
have
anything
you
want
to
add
specifically
Mike
I
know
you
don't
often
join
this
meeting
and
you're
here
so
I
feel
like
we
should
get
your
feedback
on
things.
No.
