From YouTube: Backdrop Weekly Sept 14th
Description
Today’s development agenda: http://bit.ly/2vQmFrn
A
All
right,
we
are
on
air,
happy,
Thursday,
September,
14th
everybody
so
one
day
before
the
next
release
of
backup
version
one
week,
because
that
tomorrow
we're
all
very
excited
about
it.
And
this
week
in
our
weekly
meeting
a
couple
of
quick
announcements,
PMC
members,
hopefully
have
all
signed
and
returned
the
fiscal
sponsorship
agreement
back
to
the
Conservancy,
so
hopefully
we'll
be
getting
that
underway.
A
B
Anything
that
doesn't
get
into
173
will
make
we've
made
a
new
1.8.
One
bug
fix,
release
and
kind
of,
like
all
subsequent
fixes
for
bugs
will
go
into
the
one.
Eight
one
release
for
173.
The
only
really
major
item
that
we'd
like
to
knock
out
for
sure
is
a
28,
oh
six,
which
is
an
issue
with
drop
buttons
and
some
styling
that
makes
them
overflow
their
containers.
B
B
B
Anyway,
for
focus
right
now,
actually
we
still
have
the
one
point.
Seven
three
issue
tracker
milestone
and
that's
where
most
of
the
issues
are
that
we're
working
on
for
today
and
tomorrow,
before
the
release
are
happening
because
that,
at
this
point,
we're
not
adding
in
new
functionality
and
such
as
bug
fixes.
So
anything
that's
in
that
173
list
is
actually
also
kind
of
the
longest
list
of
things
that
we
also
want
to
get
into
1.80
or
1.81.
B
B
B
That
just
needs
a
reroll
just
to
get
that
library
up
to
date.
It
doesn't
look
like
there's
any
compatibility
issues
or
anything
like
that.
We
just
need
to
make
sure
that
we're
using
the
latest
version
and,
lastly,
issue
27
30,
sorry
23
76,
which
is
just
a
terminology,
change
changing
the
word
via
mode
to
display
mode
to
avoid
confusion
with
views.
B
A
B
And
those
three
issues
are
the
only
ones
that
are
looked
in
the
1.8
milestone.
So
again,
if
you're
looking
for
something
to
put
some
attention
on
I
mean
those
three
items
are
a
great
thing
to
take
a
look
at,
but
there's
still
lots
more
issues
in
the
173
queue
that
are
kind
of
issues
that
are
easy,
like
achievable
or
are
already
have
a
pull
request
attached
to
them.
B
A
So
I'm,
looking
at
this
draft
button
fix
issue
it's
the
latest
problem
is
we
got
the
drop
bucket
in
this
fix,
but
because
they're
absolutely
positioned
on
the
right
hand,
side
and
abuse
interface
when
the
page
gets
responsive.
The
drop
button
sits
on
top
of
the
label
for
the
section
where
the
problem
HP
is
section
and
so
opiates
had
another
recommended
thanks.
That
was
changing
the
way
views
rendered,
but
I
saw
the
code
change.
A
It
looks
super
minimal,
I,
don't
know
if
it
actually
fixes
the
problem,
because
it's
in
a
separate
pour
request
as
the
use
one.
But
another
thing
I
was
thinking
of.
If,
if
that
doesn't
fix
the
problem
for
some
reason
it
might
and
we'll
just
put
them
together
and
test
it.
If
it
doesn't
fix
the
problem,
we
could
also
just
change
the
break
point
for
the
views
display,
interesting
that
we,
rather
than
having
three
columns
on
tablet,
we
could
switch
to
one
column
or
even
two
columns
or
something
and.
A
B
Yeah,
you
know
we
also
could
not
include
the
fix
that
we
made
it,
so
the
drop
button
is
always
as
wide
as
its
widest
child
and
that's
why?
Because
the
word
edit
is
not
a
particularly
wide
word,
but
then
there's
also,
you
know,
delete
or
rearrange
and
those
words
that
increase
the
width
of
the
button
in
the
views
interface.
We
also
could
just
not
include
that
change.
B
You
know
like
I'm,
not
actually
there
isn't
been
a
lot
of
feedback
because
as
to
whether
or
not
people
thought
that
was
a
positive
change
or
not
like
obvious
ain't,
it
kind
of
like
it
I
guess,
but
you
know
that's
definitely
something
else
that
we
can
go
back
on
to
prevent,
causing
any
kind
of
new
regressions.
Okay,.
A
A
B
A
We
have
lots
of
possible
solutions.
If
we
remove
this
now
we
can
add
another
fix
in
the
future
that
would
put
back
the
width
to
set
to
max.
At
the
same
time,
we
fix
this
abused
UI
issue.
If
we
wanted
to,
but
also
you
know,
figure
out,
break
points
now
and
then
flip
them
back
so
I,
don't
know
it's
good.
We
have
options,
I,
don't
know
which
way
you
think
will
be
best,
I.
Think,
okay,
so
path
forward.
A
B
A
B
B
All
of
them
are
better
than
our
current
situation,
which
is
the
drop
buttons
like
flying
off
the
right-hand
side
of
the
views,
user
interface,
yeah.
Okay,
all
right!
Well,
let's
continue
just
kind
of
checking
out
what
is
in
the
current
pull
requests
and
if
they're
usable,
then
we
can
just
write
in
okay.
They
need
to
be
split
up
then,
and
let's
work
on
that.
Okay.
B
A
All
right,
well,
thanks
guys
for
watching
now,
and
anyone
who
watches
later,
if
you
want
to
help
us
work
on
these
issues,
go
ahead
and
take
a
look
at
the
1.73
milestone
and
help
us
for
a
new
things
that
are
in
there.
You
can
also
take
a
look
at
the
1-800
milestone.
Three
major
issues
for
1.8,
a
handful
for
1.7.
Anything
that
looks
like
it's
close
might
get
in
anything.
It
doesn't
more
bump
to
the
next
milestone,
so
anything
mark
meets
review
would
be
where
we
should
put
our
attention
today.
