as
well
as

printed
resources
for
professionals.
A
Please
consider
viewing
posts
on
LinkedIn
for
current
programs
and
services
to
share
with
your
clients,
residents
or
patients
as
well
as
bcda's
professional
educational
opportunities
connections
to
bcda
are
stronger
than
ever.
So
please
take
advantage
of
the
many
options
we
offer.
This
edition
of
the
time
of
your
life
supports
successful
aging,
with
a
four-step
Approach
Resources
for
making
educated
decisions,
travel
for
Education
and
Fun,
and,
lastly,
nutrition,
an
option
that
provides
bounce
meals
combined
with
socialization
and
interesting
programs.
A
March
is
National
nutrition
month,
which
is
perfect
timing
for
Anne-Marie
real
manager
of
the
nutrition
office
at
the
Baltimore
County
Department
of
Aging
to
share
information
about
eating
together
program
and
other
services.
Today's
Show
begins
with
resources.
Up-To-Date
information
has
everything
to
do
with
making
informed
decisions
using
trusted
resources.
Let's
start
the
show
by
welcoming
Debbie
orlov
community
business
liaison
at
the
Baltimore
County
Department
of
Aging,
who
is
sharing
news
about
bcda's
latest
publication,
called
Community
Resources
2023
Debbie.
Welcome
to.
A
B
Resources
is
our
annual
Regional
publication
printed
in
partnership
with
the
Baltimore
County
Commission
on
disabilities,
which
is
under
the
Baltimore
County
Department
of
Housing
and
Community
Development,
along
with
Baltimore
city
government
division
of
Aging.
We
are
so
pleased
to
be
able
to
offer
Baltimore
residents
the
opportunity
to
use
this
powerful
resource
now
celebrating
its
26th
Edition.
Could
you
imagine
a
book
that
returns
for
the
26th
year?
That's
quite
amazing.
This
valuable
publication
contains
information
for
mature
adults,
Baby
Boomers,
caregivers
families,
children
and
adults
with
disabilities
and,
of
course,
professionals.
B
You
know
that's
such
a
good
question.
Community
Resources
really
is
the
connection
for
individuals,
communities
and
again
professionals
with
the
information
that
they
need
to
know.
In
our
opinion,
good
decisions
are
made
when
consumer
options
are
readily
available
and
they're
up
to
date,
especially
after
covid
meeting
divert
the
diverse
needs
of
our
audience.
So
the
content
needs
to
be
diverse
and
to
meet
the
needs
and
requests
of
the
population
bcda
serves.
We
believe
that
Community
Resources
offers
One-Stop
shopping
and
packs
both
convenience
and
critical
Regional
information
into
one
publication.
B
A
B
Know
that's
such
a
good
question,
because
every
year
we
evaluate
the
book
to
see
where
we
could
make
it
even
better.
The
contents
of
Community
Resources
spans
categories
from
Adult
Day
Care
to
volunteer
opportunities,
so
the
book
is
quite
diverse
and
you
know
again
what
I
had
mentioned
previously
that
the
audience
using
the
book
is
very
diverse,
so
we
want
to
meet
those
needs.
Each
listing
in
the
publication
is
verified
on
an
annual
basis
and
updated,
so
the
most
current
information
is
available
to
support
the
users
of
this
resource.
B
We
pay
particular
attention
to
categories
that
intercept
intersect,
multiple
Topics
in
the
book,
and
we
also
do
this
by
having
extensive
cross-referencing
and
I
use
caregiver
support
as
an
example,
because
it's
such
a
relevant
example
for
a
lot
of
people
and
Prof
professionals
using
the
book.
So
information
to
support
caregivers
may
be
found
in
nine
other
categories,
so
the
average
person
using
the
book
may
not
think.
Okay,
maybe
there's
information
in
other
areas.
B
Besides
that
main
topic,
and
and
as
far
as
cross-referencing
is
concerned,
we
provide
cross-referencing
at
the
beginning
of
every
category
so
that
you,
the
reader
and
the
audience
of
the
book,
could
easily
identify
where
to
go.
Excuse
me,
the
cross
references
can
also
be
found
in
the
book's
index.
So
as
you
go
through
the
book,
syntax
it'll
also
give
you
ideas
and
perhaps
you're
looking
for
another
category,
a
great
place
to
search
for
the
information
that
you
need.
B
The
or
the
book
is
also
online
every
year.
It
is
online
at.
B
B
So
the
book
is
available
in
Baltimore
County's
20
senior
centers,
so
it's
always
convenient
to
pop
in
and
pick
up
a
book
there.
It
will
also
be
available
at
Baltimore,
County
Libraries.
Another
convenient
place
to
pick
up
a
copy
for
yourself
loved
ones,
other
family
members,
friends,
also,
if
you
can,
if
you're
picking
up
a
large
volume
of
books,
large
quantities,
we
have
organizations
that
pick
up
thousands
at
one
time
or
a
hundred.
So
this
would
involve
any
organization
picking
up
a
hundred
books
or
more.
Please
either
call.
B
410-887-2002
or
email
sponsor
bcda
at
baltimorecountymd.gov
and
specify
the
name
of
your
organization,
the
number
you
would
like
to
pick
up
a
contact
person
and
the
day,
and
we
will
be
in
touch
with
you,
Baltimore
City
residents.
You
could
also
call
their
map
office,
which
is
Maryland
access
point
at.
B
That's
such
a
good
question.
So
when
you
look
through
Community
Resources,
there's
Lodge
ads
and
highlighted
ads
throughout
the
entire
publication,
the
large
ads
and
the
highlighted
ads
are
supported
by
sponsors
and
that
that
those
funds
support
bcda's
volunteer
program
along
with
the
printing
of
the
book.
B
We
know
based
on
the
many
advertisers
of
the
book
over
the
years.
The
Community
Resources
represents
a
powerful
opportunity
for
businesses
to
Showcase
their
services
and
or
products.
So
for
those
businesses
interested
in
learning
more
about
advertising
opportunities
offered
by
the
Baltimore
County
Department
of
Aging,
or
supporting
in-person
virtual
in-person
or
virtual
special
events.
Please
call.
B
Again,
you
would
call
410-887-2012
or
email
sponsor
bcda
at
baltimorecountymd.gov
we
offer
Publications,
there's,
obviously
Community
Resources,
the
the
time
of
your
life,
digest
the
Expo
program
guide
that
we
offer
right
before
Expo
again
I
mentioned
previously.
The
events
are
in
person
or
virtual.
We
literally
have
something
to
meet
everyone's
budget.
It
is
very
important
to
us
that
mom-and-pop
businesses,
as
well
as
large
corporations,
that
we
offer
something
for
everyone.
B
Our
large
events
for
2023
include
Senior
Solutions,
which
is
a
professional
conference
or
for
two
half
days
on
April
20th
and
April
27th
information
for
that
event
will
soon
be
available.
The
volunteer
appreciation
of
event
is
offered
in
May
to
honor,
not
only
our
volunteers,
but
to
celebrate
older
Americans
month.
So
information
regarding
that
event,
which
will
be
in
person,
will
soon
be
available
as
well.
I
do
not
want
to
