A
We
wanted
to
thank
you
for
coming
we're
so
happy
happy
to
welcome
everyone
back.
It's
been
quite
a
few
years
since
we've
been
able
to
do
this.
This
year
is
our
33rd
year
of
fun
and
healthy
competition.
We
hope
you
all
enjoyed
that
our
slogan
this
year
was
actually
chosen
by
our
director
and
it's
we're
back.
Let
the
games
begin
commentary
on
on
the
last
four
years.
The
past
few
years
as
awful
as
they've
been
reminded
us
of
some
things
that
we
might
have
forgotten
in
the
past.
A
We
had
to
reconsider
what
really
makes
us
happy
and
what
it
means
to
have
a
fulfilling
life.
We
had
to
rethink
the
importance
of
seizing
every
opportunity
that
we
could
get
to
gather,
make
connections
and
enjoy
each
other's
company.
We
all
took
that
for
granted
until
it
was
denied
us,
so
we
were
exceptionally
happy
to
start
this
again.
A
We've
faced
many
changes,
but
one
thing
hasn't
changed
and
that's
the
love
of
competition.
We
definitely
saw
that
we
were
really
happy
about
that.
It
was
exciting
to
see
how
happy
everyone
was
to
be
competing
again.
We
were
very
pleased
to
see
past
Olympians
and
we
had
some
new
faces,
we're
hoping
that
we're
going
to
see
them
year
after
year
as
well,
I
wanted
to
say
something
that
with
all
our
volunteers,
we
could
not
do
this
without
the
dedication
of
all
the
volunteers
that
we
had.
A
We
very
much
appreciate
that
the
planning
and
organizing
that
goes
into
this.
You
wouldn't
believe
how
much
planning
and
organizing
it
takes
to
get
in
to
get
this
done.
So
we're
grateful
to
everyone
who
donated
all
the
hours
and
all
the
ideas
really
to
help
us
do
this
I
wanted
to
take
a
moment
to
thank
our
Olympic
Committee
members
for
their
support,
their
dedication
yep.
If
our
committee
members
would
stand
up
so
I'm
not
going
to
bother
to
name
you
off
one
by
one
where's,
your
counterpart
is
behind
me
somewhere
here
dog.
A
I
wanted
to
say
thank
you
to
to
someone
who's.
Actually,
not
here
Jerry
Bruce,
he
helped
run
the
pickleball
event.
I
would
have
been
lost
without
him.
A
Barb
and
Doug
dewald
I
wanted
to
thank
them
for
stepping
in
at
the
last
minute,
when
we
had
a
little
complication,
George
delorge
chilled
you
again,
Rich
Phelps
and
Bob
Kirk.
You
I
want
to
thank
you
all
for
your
assistance
with
the
cornhole
event.
A
I
want
to
thank
Nick
from
Bay
three
TV
who's
filming
this
and
his
intern,
who
took
pictures
at
all
the
events
and
I
wanted
to
thank
Zach
brunette.
We
all
know
Zach
is
our
manager
in
our
kitchen,
but
he
also
pitched
in
and
helped
with
the
golfies
at
and
Dan
nearing,
who
is
our
manager
of
our
Golf
Course,
helped
him
with
that.
So
we're
grateful
for
that
Bowie
18
owners.
They,
thankfully
give
us
a
great
price
on
being
able
to
do
that
year
after
year.
A
Thank
you
to
copaco
who
helped
us
with
the
advertising
and
with
McLaren
Bay
Region
Hospital,
who
donated
to
shoes
and
lip
balm
and
sunglasses.
That's
helpful
for
the
for
the
outdoor
events
and
last
but
not
least,
I
would
like
to
thank
our
director
Beth
Urich.
She
is
more
than
just
a
leader.
She
has
made
our
department
like
a
family.
We
love
to
come
to
work,
she's
always
available
to
her
staff
and
is
always
cheerful.
A
B
Good
evening
to
our
Olympians,
it
was
so
wonderful
to
have
seen
everyone
out
for
the
games.
Last
week.
It
did
my
heart
good
to
see
that
back.
Like
Patty
said
our
last
three
years
have
taught
us
how
valuable
and
precious
our
time
together
is
and
that
we
need
to
continue
to
get
back
to
our
happiness
and
those
things
that
bring
us
joy
and
Olympic
Games
definitely
bring
us
joy.
I
want
to
welcome
and
introduce
a
whole
bunch
of
people.
So
please
bear
with
me
from
Department
9
aging's
advisory
committee.
B
If
you
guys
could
just
step
forward
our
chairperson
in
District
One
Robin
Weiss,
our
vice
chairperson,
Debbie
Russell,
who's,
District
Seven,
our
district
2
Doug
dewald
District
three
is
Diane
beamlander
she's,
not
here:
District
Four,
Sally,
Kaminsky,
District,
Five,
Paul,
rabideau,
District,
Six,
Mary
Donnelly,
and
our
at-large
position.
Janine
crevice.
B
B
Our
County
Commissioners
in
District,
One,
Kathy,
nemec
yeah,
come
be
seen:
District
2,
Tim,
benajiak,
District
3
Von
bagik,
who
is
not
with
us
tonight,
District
Four
Colleen
millet
District
Five,
Tom
Herrick,
who
is
not
with
us,
also
in
District
six
six
Casey
Radke,
whose
daughter
is
participating
in
national
dance
down
in
South,
in
the
Carolinas
and
in
our
district
7
Dennis
Poirier.
B
B
B
Sheriff
Troy
Cunningham
I
also
want
to
thank
our
Olympic
Committee
for
all
the
support
and
work
you
put
into
the
games
and
supporting
us
during
this
working
with
us
to
make
sure
that
everything
ran
smoothly.
So,
like
Teddy
said,
a
lot
goes
into
planning
everything.
You
wouldn't
believe
we're
not
talking
weeks,
we're
not
talking
a
month
we're
talking
months.
Plural,
so
I
want
to
thank
our
staff
and
those
who
are
here
please
come
and
be
recognized.
B
But
we
really
need
to
give
a
huge
round
of
applause
to
Patty
Gomez.
She
has
worked
tirelessly
over
the
past
six
months
to
make
sure
that
all
the
eyes
were
dotted
and
our
T's
were
crossed
when
it
came
to
our
Olympic
Games.
This
is
Patty's
first
Olympic,
game
and
I
think
she
went
way
above
and
beyond
to
make
it
the
best
one.
So
far,.
B
I
am
going
to
give
out
with
Jim
with
Jim
our
90-year
and
better
club.
We
have
two
recipients.
This
year,
Billy
Nelson
come
on
up
sweetie
yeah.
C
B
D
You
are
a
champions
for
participating
and
for
being
out
here
today
and
thank
you
for
keeping
this
program.
You
know
the
staff,
especially
all
the
people
that
are
behind
the
scenes
and
the
advisory
committee
and
the
other
folks
that
have
been
introduced
or
worked
very
hard
to
do.
The
very
best
we
can
for
our
retired
residents
here
in
Bay,
County
and
and
the
department
on
Aging
does
a
wonderful
job.
D
If
you
need
a
home
chores
or
if
you
need
something
fixed
in
your
home,
I
know,
we
have
specific
programs
that
can
help
and
Beth
and
her
team
do
an
excellent
job
for
all
of
our
residents
here
in
Bay,
County,
and
also
the
Zach
and
the
staff
who
prepare
the
meals
serve
a
quarter
of
a
million
meals
a
year
between
the
congregate
meal
sites
like
here
at
Riverside
and
the
home,
delivered
meals.
Almost
thirteen
hundred
a
day
five
days
a
week,
delivered
right
to
the
doorstep.
So,
let's
get
this
show
on
the
road.
D
Thanks
for
listening
and
Beth
highlighted
a
lot
of
people,
we
have
a
lot
of
local
celebrities
that
have
already
been
introduced
that
are
here
to
place
the
medals
on
around
your
necks
and
the
congratulations
teaching
every
one
of
you.
Thank
you.
Beth.
A
Now,
what
we
were
all
here
for
forgive
me
if
I
get
this
name
wrong,
but
I
do
believe
I've
got
it
down.
The
gold
medal
for
pickleball
goes
to
Judy
babelsik.
If
you're
here
please
come
and
get
your
award.
A
A
No,
not
everybody
is
60.,
it's
55
and
up-
and
she
is
not
I-
do
not
believe
that
the
next
two
participants
are
here,
but
the
silver
Award
winners
for
pickleball
is
Margaret
garlinghouse
and
her
partner,
Kathleen
washabaugh,
not
here.
Okay,
our
bronze
winners
for
the
pickleball
for
women,
Mary
Ann,
Balor,.
C
A
A
C
A
I
personally
know
that
pickleball
players
are
very
dedicated
to
playing
pickleball
and
that
is
it
for
our
pickleball
we're
going
to
move
on
to
our
fishing
competition.
We
are
going
to
start
with
the
women.
We
had
two
categories.
We
had
the
largest
fish
and
then
the
most
the
total
inches
for
all
your
fish
combined.
A
A
A
C
A
Okay,
we're
gonna
stay
in
the
largest
fish
category
and
move
on
to
the
men
55
to
69..
The
winner
of
the
gold
is
Henry.
Lafave
I
know
that
he
is
not
here
this
evening,
but
he
also
had
a
24-inch
catfish.
A
The
silver
Award
winner
is
Jeff
Lynch.
He
had
a
23
inch
catfish
we're
not
going
to
mention
that
his
wife's
fish
was
an
inch
bigger.
C
A
The
gold
another
person
who
is
not
here,
Jeffrey
Lafave
he
had
a
25-inch
Dogfish
that
he
caught
I
think
at
the
last
five
or
ten
minutes
of
the
event.
So
he
came
out
the
winner,
the
silver
award
who
went
to
Terry
Sutton.
Are
you
here
he's
not
here?
Well,
he
also
had
a
24
inch,
catfish
I'm,
starting
to
think
catfish
are
not
too
bright.
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
C
A
C
C
A
A
C
C
A
Okay,
the
silver
winner
goes
to
John
Borneo.
He
is
also
not
present,
and
the
bronze
winner
goes
to
Doug
dewald.
A
A
A
Okay,
women,
six
70
and
overs
part
of
me
70
and
over
gold
winner
is
Marilyn
harder.
A
A
C
C
A
A
I
know
where
you
live
Bob
and
our

for
golf
