Hello I' m fiona, I'm senior communications officer for dorset council and I'm going to show you how.

To nominate an asset on the local heritage list, so I'm going to share my screen with you.

A

And we're going to go to the website, so that's www, dot, dorset, council, dot, gov dot, uk.

A

Forward slash local heritage list without any gaps in.

A

And we get that page up there, so um you can there's all sorts of.

A

um Bits of information here, but we're just going to go straight, to nominate an asset.

A

Now, before you submit the form I'll read through this bits, this bits of information here, if you.

A

Click um if the asset has already been designated this um we can, then you can then actually search.

A

And see whether it's um listed already, so I have a place I'm going to try the piddle inn.

A

That's what I'm going to be doing, I'm going to press, ok and pop something in there paste and go.

A

And there we go so that's and no, it hasn't been nominated.

A

So um it's just in a conservation area. So that's okay! So we're going to go back to.

A

Nominate an asset, so you can read all through that. You can nominate an asset at the top here.

Or you can start down here so we'll start here.

A

And the asset heritage asset that you are nominating, it is a building.

A

Asset name, it is the piddle inn, whoops.

A

And the address is I've got that already typed up, so I can just put that straight in.

A

um There and obviously that's the postcode there, so it's just easier if you've got that all there.

A

And I'm going to put the exact location on the map, because I know where it is. I can circle it and.

A

And use that so I'm going to use that, but you can use any of those other other things.

Additional local information- I haven't, got anything on that uh heritage. Significance of.

A

The asset it is actually of communal value, so this has been location of a public house.

A

Since 1890, it's changed.

A

It was previously known.

A

Known as uh the green dragon.

A

I've got a picture, so I've got one saved up just there. So I'm going to pop that in.

I don't have copyright for that photo because I just picked it off of a website so um yeah, better.

A

Not do that, I haven't got any other supporting documentation on that, so asset location. So again.

I'm going to just put in the postcode there, so we can search it. I need to get in a bit closer.

A

And you can draw then draw around it. You can either use those as shapes or freehand. um So.

A

I'm going to do a freehand tool and then I'm just going to go oops a bit wobbly around the edges.

A

There we go so that's perfect for me and then my details. So I'm fiona king.

I'm just going to do county hall. As my address my email.

And um work telephone.

It's not, I prefer to be contacted by email, so there we go go. I give consent. So I'm going to.

Do that and, as I sort of said, preferred method of contact is there and then I could submit it.
