From YouTube: How to make a shoe box library with Katy
Description
In this video Katy shows you how to make a library for your dolls/action figures from a shoe box and recycled packaging. Here is another video from BCP libraries on how you can make a library at home: https://youtu.be/FqHbruCsOhs
A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
back
to
your
craft,
with
Katie
and
in
today's
video
I'm,
going
to
show
you
how
you
can
make
a
library
for
your
action
figures
or
your
dolls
or
whatever
you
have
at
home,
that
you
normally
play
with
and
we're
going
to
be,
making
it
out
of
an
old
shoebox
and
some
bits
of
recycled
packaging
and
pens,
pencils,
scissors
and
glue.
So
before
we
get
started.
I
just
want
to.
A
Let
you
know
about
another
cool
video
on
this
channel
which
my
friend
Sarah
made,
and
she
made
a
video
on
how
to
make
your
own
library
at
home
and
that
library
was
with
life-size
books
and
teddy
bears
and
all
sorts
of
things
like
that.
So
you
can
play
real
libraries
with
your
household
or
your
toys,
but
this
library
is
a
bit
smaller
and
it's
going
to
be
for
action
figures
or
dolls
and
as
usual,
if
you
want
to
pause
the
video
at
any
point,
you
can
do
just
to
catch
up
with
what
I'm
saying
so.
A
Shall
we
make
a
toy
library.
So,
first
of
all,
you
need
to
find
yourself
a
shoebox
and
my
shoebox
has
a
hinged
lid,
but
you
can
use
a
shoebox
that
is
separate
lid.
It
doesn't
matter,
and
then
you
need
to
turn
the
shoebox
on
its
side
and
I
am
making
a
nice
carpet
for
my
library,
so
I
am
just
covering
at
the
floor
or
the
side
and
the
lid
with
some
felt,
because
I
thought
that
would
make
a
nice
soft
carpet.
A
But
you
can
use
whatever
you,
like,
whatever
you
have
at
home
and
for
the
back
wall,
which
is
the
bottom
of
the
shoebox
I
cut
out
a
piece
of
card,
the
same
size
as
the
back
of
the
shoebox
or
the
bottom
of
the
shoebox
and
I
drew
some
bookshelves
on
it.
But
you
can
print
some
bookshelves
off
your
computer
or
cut
some
books
out
of
the
magazine
to
decorate
your
wall
of
your
library.
A
It's
totally
up
to
you,
I'm
just
coloring
in
my
books,
with
my
felt
tip
pens
on
a
piece
of
card
because
I
wanted
it
to
look
like
it
was
drawn.
But
you
can
do
yours,
however,
you
like,
and
if
you
don't
have
any
card,
you
can
stick
a
piece
of
paper
on
to
some
cardboard
packaging.
That's
absolutely
fine,
too,
and
once
you
have
your
wall
of
your
library
ready,
you
can
then
use
some
glue
to
stick
it
to
the
back
or
technically.
A
A
So
now
we
need
to
make
some
shells
for
our
library.
So
what
you
need
for
this
is
some
strong
cardboard
packaging
like
I
have
here
and
then
you
need
to
measure
out
three
shelves
the
same
size
and
I
am
just
doing
them
the
width
of
my
ruler,
and
then
you
need
to
cut
them
out
like
this,
be
very
careful
when
you
are
using
scissors
and
make
sure
you
have
an
adult
present.
And
then
you
need
to
make
the
two
sides
of
the
bookshelves
I've
done
these
a
bit
thicker
than
the
shelves.
A
And
then
you
also
need
to
cut
these
out.
And
when
you
have
the
two
sides
cut
out.
You
need
to
mark
on
both
of
them
at
the
same
height,
the
places
where
your
shelves
are
going
to
go
and
then
cut
a
slit
like
I'm
doing
here,
the
same
width
of
the
shelves
and
you
need
to
make
sure
that
they
are
in
the
same
place
on
both
of
the
sides.
And
then
you
can
just
slot
your
shelves
into
the
sides
of
your
bookshelf
and
there
we
go
like
this
very
easy
and
no
glue
is
needed.
A
And
if
you
want
to,
you
can
also
make
a
picture
book
box
for
your
library
and
I
have
a
small
box
here
that
I
am
just
cutting
in
half
and
then
covering
with
some
colored
paper
like
this.
You
can
paint
yours
if
you
want
to,
or
you
can
decorate
it.
It's
totally
up
to
you
so.
But
here
is
my
finished
picture
box
and
that
will
go
nicely
with
the
shelves
in
my
library.
A
As
you
see,
I
have
just
written
help
desk
on
a
piece
of
paper
and
stuck
it
on
and
the
other
one
is
going
to
be
a
desk
for
our
computers
and
to
make
computers
or
laptops
I've,
just
folded
up
a
little
piece
of
black
card
and
added
a
screen
and
now
I'm,
just
adding
some
keys
for
the
keyboard
and
I
added
a
stick
up
for
the
mouse.
But
you
might
already
have
some
computer
toys
at
home.
That's
absolutely
fine!
A
You
can
just
add
them
to
your
desk
and
I'm,
just
adding
a
few
computers
to
the
green
box
here,
so
that
two
people
can
sit
at
the
desk
at
once
and
work
and
also
I
am
making
a
laptop
or
computer
for
the
help
desk,
because
when
I'm
at
the
desk
at
the
library,
it's
very
helpful
to
have
a
computer.
So
you
can
look
for
a
book
that
someone
asked
or
you
can
join
people
up
to
the
library
or
you
might
just
need
to
look
up
something
for
somebody
and
I'm.
A
A
So
now
all
we
need
to
do
is
make
some
books
and
for
this
you
just
need
to
cut
a
strip
of
paper
like
this
and
then
fold
it
in
a
zigzag,
shape
so
fold.
It
forward
then
backward
then
forward.
Then
backward
till
you
have
the
whole
thing
done
and
then
we
just
add
a
piece
of
paper
around
it
using
some
glue
and
then
I've,
just
stuck
a
sticker
on
the
front
cover
just
to
make
the
books
look
a
bit
different.
So
here
I
am
again
cutting
out
a
strip
of
paper
and
then
folding.
A
It
one
way,
then
the
other
then
one
way,
then
the
other
and
then
one
way
than
the
other,
and
it
gets
a
nice
zigzag
or
concertina
effect,
and
then
once
I
have
done
that
I'm,
just
attaching
some
glue
to
a
piece
of
colored
paper
around
the
outside,
and
then
we
have
a
nice
book
shape
like
this,
and
you
need
to
make
quite
a
few
of
these
books.
So
maybe
you
can
get
some
members
of
your
household
to
help
you.
Maybe
when
you're
watching
television
one
night,
you
can
all
make
a
couple.
A
A
So
now
we
have
all
the
parts
of
our
library
made.
We
need
to
put
it
all
together
and
you
can
put
your
library
together.
However,
you
want
to
you,
can
move
things
around
and
then
once
you
are
done,
you
can
add
your
toys.
I
put
my
desk
in
the
middle
two
shelves
at
the
side.
I
put
a
chair
in
the
corner
next
to
my
two
bucks
box
and
I
put
the
help
desk
next
to
the
self-service
machine.
A
So
my
toys
can
help
each
other
use
the
machine
if
they
get
stuck
and
I
added
some
books
to
the
bookshelves
and
into
the
picture
book
box
as
well.
Added
my
chairs.
Next
to
my
computers,
I
also
added
a
thimble
that
I
have
and
I'm
using
it
as
a
rubbish
bin.
Just
because
we
want
to
keep
the
library,
nice
and
clean
and
tidy
you
can
add.
Whatever
you
want,
your
library,
you
might
have
some
bits
of
furniture,
toys
or
some
accessories
in
your
toy
back
through
your
action
figures.
You
can
add
those
if
you
like.
A
It's
totally
up
to
you
and
when
you
have
finished
playing
with
your
library,
you
can
put
all
of
the
parts
of
furniture
into
the
shoebox
and
tidy
it
away
nice
and
neatly,
and
then
you
can
get
your
shoebox
library
out
whenever
your
toys
want
to
read.
So
this
is
my
finished
shoebox
library.
For
my
action
figures,
I'm
really
pleased
of
it
and
I'm
definitely
going
to
have
lots
of
fun
playing
with
it.
And
now
it's
your
turn
to
see
what
library
you
can
make
for
your
toys
at
home.
You
don't
have
to
use
a
shoebox.
