A
The
theme
of
this
year's
summer
reading
challenge
is
the
gadgeteers,
just
like
the
gadgeteers.
The
professor
is
inspired
by
science
and
inventions.
Bcp
libraries
have
plenty
of
new
books
to
spark
your
curiosity.
This
year,
read
six
books
throughout
the
summer
holidays
to
receive
your
certificate
and
medal.
We
also
have
lots
of
activities
in
our
libraries,
including
crafts.
A
A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
to
crafts
of
their
professor
today
he's
going
to
show
us
how
to
make
this
brainy
board
game.
So,
let's
get
started
so
for
this
activity.
You
need
the
board
and
also
the
sheet
that
has
the
cards
spinner
and
counter
on,
and
you
can
click
on
the
link
in
the
description
where
you'll
be
able
to
download
and
print
this
for
free
or
you
can
draw
your
own.
It's
totally
up
to
you.
You
can
also
pick
this
bag
up
from
bournemouth
library
this
week.
A
So,
first
of
all,
I
am
coloring
in
the
board
and
the
board
is
like
a
piece
of
dna
that
you
have
to
go
all
the
way
down
and
answer
questions.
So
I'm
just
using
my
coloring
pencils,
but
you
can
do
whatever
you
like.
You
can
use
crayons,
you
can
use
felt-tip
pens
and
you
can
either
design
your
own
board
or
print
this
one.
A
And
once
you
have
colored
in
your
board,
you
will
maybe
have
something
like
this
and
what
I
am
going
to
do.
This
is
optional.
I
am
going
to
cut
it
out
around
the
line
very
carefully
with
scissors
and
just
make
sure
you've
got
a
responsible
grown-up,
with
you
to
help
you
here.
So
I'm
just
going
to
cut
it
out
and
then
once
I
have
cut
it
out,
I'm
going
to
mount
it
on
some
card.
A
And
then
we
need
to
get
started
on
the
counters
and
the
cards
and
the
spinner.
So
this
sheet,
I
have
printed
onto
some
card,
but
you
can
use
paper
if
you've
only
got
paper.
That's
fine
and
I'm
just
coloring
in
the
question
marks
for
the
question
cards
and
then
I'm
going
to
color
in
the
spinner
and
then
the
cat,
paw
counters.
A
So
these
are
my
counters,
I'm
coloring
them
in
four
different
colors.
So
it's
easy
to
spot
whose
counter
it
is
and
then
once
you
are
done,
you
will
need
to
cut
them
out
again,
be
very
careful
with
scissors.
Make
sure
you've
got
a
grown-up
round
to
help
you.
So
here
are
my
counters,
and
here
is
the
spinner.
A
So
you
spin
the
spinner
like
this,
so
when
you
spin
the
spinner
it
will
land
on
an
atom
which
either
has
one
two
or
three
particles
in
it,
and
that
is
the
number
of
spaces
you
move.
So
now,
I'm
just
writing
out
my
question
cards.
You
can
write
whatever
questions
you
like
you.
Maybe
you've
read
some
interesting
books
this
summer
about
science
and
you
want
to
use
questions
from
those
or
you've
got
some
homework
that
you
want
to
do,
and
you
can
use
that
to
write
your
questions.
It's
totally
up
to
you.
