A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
back
to
craft
with
Katy
I'm
Patti
and
in
today's
video
I'm
going
to
be
showing
you
some
tips
on
how
you
can
color
in
with
your
pens,
pencils
and
crayons
at
home
and
I'm,
going
to
be
coloring
in
this
poster
that
I
made
of
my
little
mouse
charlie,
and
he
is
showing
us
all
how
important
it
is
to
wash
our
hands.
And
you
can
call
it
in
this
poster.
A
A
So
my
first
tip
for
you
is
to
color
in
small
circular
motions-
and
this
doesn't
matter
if
you're
using
pencils,
crayons
or
felt-tip
pens.
If
you
color
in
small
circular
motions,
your
coloring
will
look
a
lot
more,
even
and
neater,
rather
than
just
doing
big
strokes
in
lots
of
different
directions,
because
you'll
be
able
to
see
that
on
the
page,
so
color
in
small
circular
motions
for
a
nice
neat.
Look.
A
My
second
tip,
for
you
is
if
you're
using
felt-tip
pens,
you
can
color
in
with
lots
of
little
dots,
and
this
is
a
very
old
art
technique
called
pointillism,
and
it's
just
colouring
in
with
lots
of
dots.
I
am
doing
it
for
Charlie's
fur,
because
I
want
him
to
look
fuzzy
and
furry
and
doing
dots
helps
with
that.
A
So
my
next
tip
for
you
is
to
mix
your
colors
when
you
are
coloring
in,
and
you
can
do
this
with
two
shades
of
the
same
color.
So
for
Charlie's,
dungarees
I'm
mixing
a
lighter
blue
with
a
darker
blue
to
make
it
look
a
little
bit
more
interesting
and
to
make
it
look
a
little
bit
less
flat,
I'm
not
doing
any
shading
I'm,
not
working
out
where
the
shadows
are.
A
I
am
just
blending
the
two
colors
together
like
this,
and
you
can
do
this
with
two
different
colors,
as
well
as
two
colors
of
the
same
shade,
but
just
be
careful
not
to
mix
too
many
colors
together,
as
you
might
end
up
with
a
bit
of
a
muddy
look
and
the
color
will
just
look
very
confusing
and
it
will
just
disappear
and
look
a
bit
muddy.
So
just
be
careful,
but
you
can
definitely
experiment
mixing
your
shades,
so
the
next
tip
I
have
for
you.
A
So
we
have
a
spiral
in
the
middle
to
make
it
look
more
like
a
sphere
and
for
the
tap
pipe
I
followed
the
direction
where
the
tap
is
going
and
the
direction
that
the
water
is
coming
out
and
that
just
makes
it
look
a
little
bit
more
3d
as
we
are
following
the
shape
and
making
it
look
like
the
shape,
so
that
I
makes
it
look
3d
and
for
the
hands.
I
am
just
coloring
in
one
continuous
line
with
a
felt-tip
pen
just
to
make
it
look
a
little
bit
more
interesting
than
a
flat
color.
A
So
my
next
hit
for
you
is
to
use
contrasting
colors,
and
what
we
mean
by
this
is
the
color.
Wheel
has
colors
that
are
opposite
each
other,
so
red
is
opposite.
Green
yellow
is
opposite.
Purple
and
orange
is
opposite.
Blue
and
these
colors
are
contrasting
colors
and
they
don't
necessarily
look
nice
together,
but
they
do
contrast
and
may
things
stand
out.
So
what
I
am
doing
here
is
coloring
the
border
of
the
poster
and
all
of
the
objects
and
Charlie's
I
am
coloring
back
in
a
red,
color
and
then
I
am
coloring
in
the
text.
A
A
A
So
my
final
tip
for
you
is
to
use
some
gel
pens
to
finish
off
your
coloring
and
gel
pens
are
not
just
for
writing
and
they
come
in
a
variety
of
different
sorts.
So
we
have
a
glittery
one
here
that
I
am
adding
to
the
tap
and
the
water
I
also
like
to
use
a
pastel
gel
pen,
sometimes
to
color
in
Charlie's
ears,
a
pastel
pink
to
make
them
stand
out
and
also
just
I'm,
adding
some
glittery
dots
to
the
rest
of
the
poster.
A
I'm
just
adding
little
bits
here
and
there
just
to
make
it
stand
out.
You
don't
want
to
do
too
much,
but
you
can
experiment
with
your
gel
pens
in
your
coloring
just
to
enhance
it
a
little
bit
and
make
it
a
little
bit
more
fun.
So
I
hope
you've
enjoyed
my
tips
and
you
will
maybe
find
them
useful
in
your
own
coloring.
A
You
can
download
this
to
color
in
yourself
in
the
link
in
the
description
down
below
you
can
download
the
black
and
white
version
and
color
it
in
like
I've
done
here
or
you
can
just
download
the
color
version
and
put
it
up.
It's
totally
up
to
you.
But
if
you
do
any
of
the
crafts
in
these
videos
or
any
of
the
activity,
is
that
BCP
libraries
have
shared
on
this
YouTube
channel
then
do
show
us.
You
can
show
us
by
going
on
to
our
social
media.
