If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
I
think
nick
at
some
point
y'all
might
ask
what
are
schools
using
for
the
phonics.
I
know
some
people
are
using
scholastic,
like
phonemic
awareness,
we're
using
hegerty.
I
think
everybody's
using
a
little
something
different,
so
it'll
be
nice
that
you
know
the
curriculum,
resources
and
materials
you
are
going
to
provide.
A
I
am
going
to
jump
then
to
our
next
goal
that
we
have,
unless
somebody
else
thinks
of
something.
A
So
here
we,
the
the
original
goal,
looks
at
exceeds
expectations
and
this
was
created
in
2021
and
it
was
not
updated
last
school
year.
And
so
when
we
looked
at
this
goal,
there
were
concerns
about
how
we
were
comparing
the
students
and
everything
and
when
we
were
to
drill
down
into
the
giftedness
of
a
student
and
how
we're
comparing
them
to
to
make
these
kind
of
strategic
calls
on.
A
So
the
proposal,
then,
is
to
look
at
the
student's
area
of
giftedness
and
then
using
that
as
the
metric
to
ensure
then
that
they
are
meeting
or
exceeding
when
it
comes
to
sc,
ready
and
everything.
So
we
would
look
at
if
they're
qualifying
for
giftedness
under
the
math
area.
Then
we
want
to
see
that
for
math
and
then
the
same
for
ela.
D
For
a
model
depending
and
given
the
flexibility
of
that,
but
from
our
experience
and
doing
this
in
the
past,
if
the
buses
run
they'll
come
and
a
lot
of
times,
it's
if
nothing
else
to
break
the
monotony
of
summer.
For
some
of
the
kids,
now,
that's
not
to
say
that
every
child,
but
it
also
takes
a
collective
effort
on
behalf
of
the
schools,
to
call
to
reach
out
to
the
parents,
to
educate
the
parents
on
what
it
is
to
make
sure
that
you
know
everybody
has
a
general
understanding.
D
I
want
to
point
some
other
things
out
about
the
goal.
Just
so
everybody
has
a
clear
understanding
that
c
or
higher
serves
a
couple
of
different
purposes
on
these
eocs.
D
Not
only
is
it
better
for
the
child
long
term
on
their
transcripts,
and
you
know
how
they're
performing,
but
from
a
state
accountability
model
the
school
scores
a
higher
rating,
depending
on
how
the
child
performs
on
the
eoc.
So
it's
not
just
a
pass
on
the
eoc,
it's
more
about,
so
you
get
so
many
x
number
of
points
and
honestly
we
these
things
have
shown
up
and,
for
example,
our
graduation
rates
have
been
steadily
improving.
Beaufort
county
we've
also
got
a
couple
different
models
that
we
implement
in
math.
D
I
know
miss
dixon,
I
believe,
was
on
here.
She
was
the
first
to
do
it
and
several
of
us
followed
suit,
but
we
have
we
have.
You
can
also
break
math
up
into
two
courses
their
freshman
year.
I
mean
we've
been
also
embedded
a
pre-course
for
that
and
it's
called
sreb
math
and
it's
getting
preparing
students
and
we've
seen
a
lot
of
success
with
those
levels
as
well.
E
Dr
cox
would
would
that
fit
in
under
initiative
alignment
to
note
in
helping
our
students
with
to
increase
their
english
and
algebra
in
referencing
the
professional
learning
communities
with,
along
with
the
math
and
english
literacy
that
ms
dickson
has
put
in
at
well
branch.
D
Yeah
I
mean
we
also
offer
english
enrichment
as
well,
and
I
would
also
argue
that
we've
increased
our
inclusion
model
to
serve
our
students
with
special
needs.
So
now
you
see
more
teachers
pushing
into
the
classrooms
instead
of
kids
coming
out
of
the
classroom,
and
all
those
strategies
have
proven
to
be
effective
over
time.
E
F
I
would
think
one
of
the
things
about
the
initiative
alignment
that
I
mean
good
teaching,
really
promotes
and
really
helps
it,
but
it's
aligned
with
the
sc
4.0
rubric,
if
you're
talking
about
within
your
plc's,
so
you're
having
teachers
bring
back
student
work
really
looking
at
strategies
of
getting
the
kids
or
utilizing
strategies
that
will
help
the
students
master
the
standards
that
they
need.
F
So
I
would
think
that
would
be
for
the
initiative
or
the
alignment
for
that
part
of
it
and
for
those
on
the
call
professional
learning
communities
are
basically
where
teachers
come
together
to
plan.
Also,
I
think,
planning
common
planning
but
come
together
to
really
look
at
their
teaching
strategies
or
their
teaching
techniques
of
how
they
are
delivering
or
presenting
the
instructional
content
to
the
students
in
order
to
get
them
to
master
the
standards.
G
E
So
yes,
so
anything
from
the
sic
chairs
is
if
you've
come
across,
and
I
know
dr
sandusky
you
you
work
a
lot
in
in
with
the
the
math.
That's
involved
like
in
the
project,
lead
the
way
principles
of
engineering.
Is
there
anything
you
can
think
of
that?
We
could
add
to
help
to
achieve
this
goal,
to
help
them
to
increase
a
c
or
higher.
H
So
it
takes
me
a
moment
to
get
to
my
mute
button.
Okay,
one
thing
and
then
we're
just
something:
I'm
trying
to
get
my
department
and
the
english
department
to
do.
We
have
a
lot
of
what
I
call
bubble:
kids,
a
bunch
of
people
on
16.
You
know
that
are
69
59
89,
and
you
want
to
get
them
to
that
next
level
and
I'm
not
sure
how
well
this
is
going
to
work.
It's
something
very
simple,
but
we're
going
to
do.
H
Try
to
encourage
my
teachers
to
do
some
closures,
where
what
they
do
is
a
lot
of
the
problems
we
have,
especially
with
our
large
english
language.
Eol
population
is
vocabulary,
so
we're
looking
into
okay.
What
can
we
do
to
get
the
kids
to
use
the
academic
vocabulary
like,
for
example,
something
I'm
going
to
present
on
our
in-service
next
week?
To
some
of
my
teachers
is
at
the
end
of
class.
Have
them
put
up
a
word
wall
on
the
on
the
on
the
board?
H
That
has
some
vocabulary
terms,
and
then
they
have
to
write
everything
they
know
about
it.
Then
they
have
to
pair
share
with
somebody
and
then
the
teacher
will
wrap
up
and
ask
them
individual
questions,
but
you
want
to
get
them
to
get
them
on
a
on
a
regular
basis
at
the
end
of
class
to
speak
to
each
other
use
that
language.
That's
why
that
writing
piece
is
really.
We
have
a
lot.
A
lot
of
people
do
pair
share
like
that,
and
then
don't
do
the
writing
piece.
E
Excellent
and
if
I,
if,
if
I
am
not
capturing
this
as
you
all,
are
providing,
please
don't
hesitate
to
tell
me
I'll
retype
it
any
anything
else
that
we'd
like
to
address
in
this
area
and
then
we'll
go
on
to
the
next
one.
H
One
question:
is
there
any
sense
of
how
big
of
a
hit
these
scores
took
during
the
pandemic?
I
just
I
I
don't
know
whether
the
district
is
a
wide.
What
the
context
was.
Are
we
down
quite
a
bit
from
pre-pandemic
on
me?
Are
we
about
the
same?
Anybody
know.
G
I
could
address
just
this
was
really
more
well-bred
shook
ahead
during
the
pandemic.
I
can
just
say
that
much
we
dropped,
maybe
20
points
in
certain
areas,
but
we
are
rising
around
in
the
fall.
The
scores
are
going
back
up,
but
remember.
A
lot
of
the
kids
were
out
and
not
even
tuning
in
during
the
coconut
era.
D
Dr
sandusky,
I
would
I
would
just
summarize
that
the
schools
that
had
a
high
volume
of
full
virtual
students
they
tended
not
to
perform
as
well
on
the
intercourse
assessments,
it's
kind
of
early
to
pair
us
to
compare
pre-pandemic
numbers
this
year,
since
we've
only
had
one
testing
cycle,
but
after
we
have
a
full
round
of
testing
cycles,
we
could
look
back
and
do
that
full
comparison.
E
Well,
if
everyone
is
good
with
this,
as
well
as
the
proposed
interim
goal,
then
we'll
go
on
to
the
next
one.
We
good
thumbs
up.
Okay,
very
good,
okay,
the
next
one
is
going
to
be.
E
This
is
one
of
my
favorites
is
student,
achievement,
1.4
and
so
the
overall
performance
goal
by
the
end
of
the
year,
2024,
23-24,
beaufort,
county
school
district
will
reach
an
on-time
graduation
rate
of
91,
and
our
current
interim
goal
by
the
end
of
2021
was
on
time.
Graduation
rate
would
will
increase
from
86.9
percent
to
at
least
88
percent,
and
so
you
see
what
our
current
status
is:
the
great
work
of
our
school
administrators.
E
We
had
88.5
percent
for
the
2021
school
year
and
we
made
a
note
there
that
annual
growth
is
required
of
of
an
8
increase
in
order
to
get
us
to
that
23-24
school
year.
And
so
again
this
our
stakeholders
provided
some
input
ahead
of
time
for
your
feedback
and
review.
And
then
you
see
at
the
bottom
proposed
interim
goal
by
the
end
of
22-23
school
year.
Our
on-time
graduation
rate
will
will
at
least
be
up
to
90,
which
will
get
us
very
close
to
that
91..
E
So
as
far
as
alignment
to
what
some
of
our
initiatives
and
and
and
major
big
rocks
we
have
going
on,
there
is
someone
noted
ahead
of
time,
offer
virtual
learning
options
that
meet
the
needs
of
all
learners.
That
was
one
idea,
and
then
you
can
see
other
needs
that
were
noted
for
goal
achievement
we'll
go
through
these
real
quick,
a
student
retention
truancy,
intervention
team
is
needed
too
many
absences
and
10-day
drops
to
manage
at
school
level
alone.
E
The
community
has
not
come
out
of
that
voluntary
attendance
mode
perception
an
evening
academy
opportunity
within
the
school
community,
in
addition
to
adult
ed,
so
that
schools
can
address
students
who
can't
attend
traditional
times
such
and
include
transportation,
a
consistent
training
model
to
include
data,
clerks
attendance,
clerks
and
records
clerks
and
then
more
opportunities
for
summer
initial
credit,
so
from
the
sics.
Well,
first
of
all,
what
are
your
thoughts
on
this
or
are
these?
Are
these
bullets
spot
on?
Do
you
think
that
would
help
contribute
to
increasing
our
graduation
rate.
I
I
Are
the
district
officials
have
any
interest
in
setting
up
a
you
know
a
really
forceful?
I
don't
mean
that
negatively
by
attendance
requirements.
I
J
Comment
so
ms
gilbert
part
of
me
needs
some
clarification
on
the
language
community
has
not
come
out
of
a
voluntary
attendance
mode
perception,
if
that
it.
My
first
response
on
my
sidebar
was:
was
that
subject
to
kobe
the
transition,
but
going
back
to
face
to
face
that?
That's
how
I
interpreted
that
and
if
that's
the
case,
I
think
part
of
that
is
having
more
communications
out
regarding
the
responsibility
of
attendance,
but
I
also
recognize
that.
J
The
state
allows
school
districts
for
application
of
a
proficiency
waiver,
although
we
utilize
that
for
only
excused
absences,
so
maybe
clarity
at
language
and
clarity
at
defining
what
mastery
is
you
know
there
are
those
who
believe
it's
70
percent,
75
or
80
85
percent.
You
know
just
example,
but
that
language
from
the
state,
the
definition
of
mastery,
is
also
at
the
purview
of
the
teacher
subject
to
grades
being
under
the
teacher's
jurisdiction.
E
Okay,
very
good,
and
so
I
I
I
put
there
that
will
definitely
seek
some
clarification
as
to
the
person
who
entered
this
in
and
we
can
go
from
there
any
others
that
I
say
dr
quads.
Is
she
a
part
of
her.
K
L
I
I
apologize.
I
came
in
late
because
I
was
having
great
difficulty
joining
the
meeting,
but
the
for
the
the
bullet
point
below
the
one
you
were
just
discussing
the
evening
academy.
I
mean
I
personally
would
not
agree
with
that.
I
mean
we're
a
public
school.
We
have,
you
know
a
limited
amount
of
funds.
L
You
know
we
need
to
provide
the
traditional
public
school
education
during
the
traditional
hours
I
mean
you
could
get
into
well
I'd
like
an
academy
at
from
5
a.m,
to
9
00
a.m.
So
I
can
go
play
tennis
all
day
and
or
I
mean
I
think,
you're
getting
into
providing
too
many
sort
of
extra
types
of
education
and
we
got
a
big
job
on
our
plate
already
just
with
the
traditional
education
hours
and
plus,
that
would
increase
the
cost
immensely.
D
Well,
a
point
to
make:
is
we
already
do
we
already
allow
for
tutoring
budgets
for
our
schools
to
do
after
school
to
do
saturday
school
in
some
instances,
so
there
is
already
some
after
school
type
activities
that
we
do,
but
that
is
in
addition
to
the
school
day,
not
in
replace
of
the
school
day.
J
Yeah,
exactly
yeah
and
and
the
funding
for
those
actually
comes
from
special
revenue
utilization
for
students
who
may
be
at
risk.
So
that's
what
in
that
case,
at
risk
of
not
graduating
at
risk
of
not
being
successful
at
their
course
and
predominantly
usage
is
special
revenue,
not
out
of
general
fund.
Dr
bonds
just
wanted
to
share
that
as
well.
Ma'am.
E
And
dr
quads
is:
is
that
okay,
I
just
put
so
basically
what
we're
doing
with
these
three
or
four
areas
is
providing
feedback
from
some
prior
stakeholder
input.
This
is
not
set
in
stone
yet
hence
the
opportunity,
and
so
is
that.
Okay,
what
I
put
just
revisit
this
action
to
determine
other
major
potential
barriers
would
that
work.
L
I
don't
know
I
just
I
just
think:
that's
you
know
to
duplicate
the
the
school
experience
in
an
evening
academy.
Is
I
just
I
I
don't
agree
with
that
enough,
I
wouldn't
say
revisit
it.
I
think
you
know
you
pointed
out
or
mr
coxton
and
dr
stratos
about
you
know
having
additional
help
for
students
that
needed
it,
but
that's
totally
different
than
than
having
a
whole
other
school
at
another
time
of
day.
E
What
I
will
do
is
I'm
highlighting
things
in
color
and
then
that
way,
when
it
comes
back
to
the
initial
team.
For
this
then
we'll
make
sure
to
make
note
to
to
strike
that
out.
E
I
I
E
Okay,
very
good.
We
we
will
I'll
definitely
make
sure
that
mr
flowers
makes
note
of
that
to
change
the
final
wording
of
it
any
of
the
others
or
if
you
see
something
else
that
you
think
needs
to
be
added
so
to
continue
to
contribute
to
our
graduation.
H
E
H
Just
a
couple
I
don't
know
if
this
is
an
item,
but
something
we've
noticed
at
bluffton
high
first
in
general,
when
you
start
getting
down
to
that
last
10
percent.
That's
really
a
hard
group
to
capture
when
you're
trying
to
do
school
improvement
because
a
lot
of
them
you,
you
start
running
out
of
the
one-size-fits-all
interventions.
H
With
that
being
said,
I've
noticed
that
this
at
risk
students
are
they're
starting
to
change
the
nature
of
the
student
like,
for
example,
at
bluffton
high.
We
have
by
far
the
largest
number
of
homeless
students
that
we've
ever
had,
and
I
don't
know
if
district
wide,
if
you
want
to
revisit
the
what's
the,
what
does
an
at-risk
student
look
like
in
beaufort
county
to
see
if
over
time
that
it's
not
what
we
had
five
years
ago,
because
we
have
a
lot
of
for
the
things
in
place
at
bluffton.
H
J
Mrs
gilbert,
yes,
there's
actually
funding
for
mckinney
bento
and
on
students,
homeless
students,
so
we
could
add
to
this
maybe
a
better
usage
of
special
revenue.
That's
targeting
growing
populations
such
as
homeless
students
and
maybe
to
assure
that
we're
sharing
that
information,
even
you
know
better
right,
because
there
are
resources
that
can
be
utilized
to
help
our
schools
and
our
st
and
our
students.
J
I
Very
good,
I
I
agree
with
adding
some
some
words,
but
maybe
we
need
to
find
what
those
special
needs
needs
are
because
if
we
haven't
ever
talked
about
homeless
people,
students
before
I
would
think
it
would
be
beneficial
if
you
listed
some
of
those,
you
know
about
efficient
usage
of
special
revenue
funding,
but
for
whom
I
mean
you're,
going
to
say
subgroups.
Well,
if
it's
on
this
paper
from
five
to
ten
years
from
now
who's
going
to
know
what
the
definition
of
sub
groups
is.
D
I
just
want
to
clarify:
there's
two
things
about
homelessness.
I
just
want
to
make
sure
we're
clear,
there's
a
state
definition
of
homelessness
and
so
that
that
doesn't
necessarily
mean
that
a
child
doesn't
have
what,
when
we
say,
homeless
oftentimes.
In
our
mind,
we
think
of
people
living
on
the
street.
D
D
D
We
have
a
person
who
manages
mckinney-vento
for
our
school
district,
and
then
we
do
partner
with
outside
agencies
that
help
us
assist
families
in
need,
and
each
school
we're
very
fortunate.
Beaufort
county
school
district,
every
school
has
a
social
worker,
and
so
our
social
worker
is
in
communication
with
families
as
soon
as
we
find
out
and
then
once
mckinney
once
the
mckinney-vento
act
is
enacted.
D
You
know,
depending
on
what
time
of
you
know
how
things
are
at
the
time
of
lunches,
lunch
would
be
free,
the
school
fees
wouldn't
apply
so
there
are.
We
do
have
experience
with
that
and
I'm
not
saying
there's
not
an
increase
just
as
a
just
an
example.
We
also
have
a
large
increase
of
students
that
are
struggling
with.
You
know
mental
health
and
that's
another
challenge
we're
facing.
E
Very
good,
thank
you,
dr
cox.
Again,
this
will
be
a
working
document.
If
there
are
other
things
that
you
think
of
particularly
from
our
sic
chairs,
you
certainly
will
be
able
to
reach
out
to
mr
flowers
that
we'll
be
able
to
add.
Is
it
okay?
If
we
try
for
one
more,
we've
got
a
few
minutes
left.
Are
we
good
with
this
one?
Is
there
anything
else
or
we
can
stay
with
this
one,
because
it's
important.
E
Okay,
this
is
a
a
large
one
for
the
high
school
setting.
Obviously
ka
contributes
to
this,
but
the
performance
goal
is
beginning
within
1819.
The
percentage
of
our
our
graduating
students
who
are
post-secondary
and
or
career-ready
will
increase
a
minimum
of
five
percent
each
year
annually
and
our
interim
goal,
we
said,
students
who
are
college
and
career
ready
would
increase
it
the
same.
So
if
we
look
at
where
we
at
let's
pull
this
down.
E
That's
reported
from
the
state
for
students
who
are
college
and
career
ready
and
since
with
our
board
members
and
our
sic
chairs,
is
everyone
good
with
what
those
indicators
are
your
score
on
an
s.a.t,
an
act
for
career
ready,
it's
asvab,
you
see
it
listed
in
the
middle.
There.
E
And
then
the
goals
that
were
presented
for
your
feedback
and
if
we
need
to
add
any
one
of
them,
is
access
to
college
and
career
readiness,
testing
opportunities
in
the
lower
grades.
That's
a
thought.
E
I
I
don't
mean
to
be
a
novice,
but
we're
developing
a
a
new
parent
handbook
and
one
of
the
challenges
I
said:
beaufort
county
school
district
has
so
many
acronyms
that
I
don't
even
know
what
they
mean.
I
mean
I've
been
with
this
helping
us
volunteer
for
like
20
years
now.
I
I
don't
know
what
asvab
means
and
I
think
that,
unfortunately,
through
all
this
documentation,
this
may
go
out
to
people
who
have
no
idea
what
some
of
these
acronyms
are.
I
mean
yes,
a-c-t
s-a-t,
but
just
my
personal
opinion
and
I've
been
working
with
new
parents
who
have
actually
moved
here
from
another
part
of
the
state,
totally
confused.
J
Karen
the
conversation
regarding
increased
opportunities
of
dual
enrollment
that
you're
working
on
would
that
not
itself
be
also
most
definitely
yeah,
and
I
know
we're
kind
of
addressing
it.
But.
J
F
F
To
say
that
and
add
that
about
the
tcl
and
the
things
that
we've
added,
especially
with
the
career
and
tech
courses,
that
the
students
are
able
to
take
over
at
the
technical
college
of
the
low
country
and
that
those
and
the
certificates
with
that
and
the
that
status
that
will
help
increase
the
the
cur
the
cop,
the
career
part
of
it.
The
career
readiness,
because
they
will
be
able
to
get
a
completer
or
certificate
with
industry
credentials.
I
Sharon
this
is
g
and
I
have
another
suggestion.
I
I
appreciate
where
you're
saying
develop
a
parent
handbook
to
explain
and
define
acronyms
used
by
education
and
how
it
applies.
I'm
I'm
respectfully
requesting
that,
instead
of
just
saying
used
by
education,
I
think
it
should
also
include
education
and
beaufort
county
school
district.
I
would
think
maybe
some
of
beaufort
county
school
district's
own
acronyms
may
not
be
defined
by
education.
Does
that
make
sense?
Yes,
ma'am?
Definitely
thank
you
respectfully
request
that
it's
you
know:
beaufort
county
school,
district,
acronyms
and
education.
D
I
also
want
to
clarify
for
those
that
are
looking.
If
you
look
back
at
historical,
the
state
kind
of
midstream
changed
the
way
this
is
calculated.
So
if
you
look
at
a
couple
years
ago,
you
saw
a
much
higher
percentages
than
you
do
right
now.
That
doesn't
mean
you
have
in
theory,
less
kids
that
are
college
or
career
ready.
It
just
means
the
state's
counting
differently.
N
One
of
the
things
that
I
you
know
just
being
the
principal
hill
in
high
school
and
you
look
at
say
how
some
schools
do
compare
to
say
somebody
like
bluffton
high-
and
you
know
you
see
the
big
gap
there,
just
in
conversations
with
principal
the
principal
bluffton
high
and
how
we
do
things
here
at
hilton,
head
high.
N
It
just
seems
that
one
of
the
ways
that
we
can
address
this
is
is
guidance
practices,
better
training
for
our
school
counselors
on
how
to
in
their
igps,
you
know,
being
you
know
the
language
that
they
use
to
to
encourage
students
to
follow
certain
pathways.
You
know
I.
I
don't
think
that
really
happened
here,
a
lot
and
and
we
are
moving
that
direction,
but
I
think
maybe
more
professional
development
right
as
you're
typing
in
for
school
counselors,
better,
advise
students
on
pathways
and
the
importance
of
the
pathways.
H
And
I'm
going
to
chime
in
with
kudos.
That
has
never
had
to
be
a
focus
of
concern
at
bluffton
high
school
because
of
our
counselors.
So
basically
they
once
this
came
into
being.
They
took
it
and
ran
with
it,
and
we've
never
had
to
worry
about.
H
F
F
N
And
I
know
some
people
remember
me
from
yesterday
in
my
data
com
presentation
yesterday,
but
one
of
the
also
things
is
is:
is
the
the
work
of
the
career
development
facilitators,
I'm
actually
each
of
the
high
schools?
Just
you
know
ensuring
that
you
know
most.
If
not
all
the
high
schools
have
have
the
cdf
to
help
work
with
our
school
counselors.
So.
F
N
Why
I
I
didn't
want
to
beat
the
drum
like
keep,
you
know
beating
every
day.
So
yes,
sir,
you
know
what
I'm
talking
about,
though
right
dr
stratos.
E
J
I'm
glad
it's
in
there.
I
am
too.
You
want
to
go
ahead
with
that,
karen
because
it
really
is
a
deep
conversation
for
both
of
us,
but
it
is
something
that
we've
been
spearheading
and
I
know,
will
probably
go
forward
as
I've
asked
you
and
for
the
upcoming
academic
committee
to
bring
forward
some
information.
So
please
go
ahead,
yeah
so.
E
Again,
we
we
have
great
support
from
our
board
for
career
and
technical
education
and
for
our
for
our
sic
members,
as
we
continue
to
elevate
the
college.
Readiness
there's
a
whole
nationwide
push
for
these
technical
skilled
areas
that
are
really
way
beyond
what
they
used
to
be
years
ago,
and
so
to
be
able
to
have
a
full
continuum
of
students,
because
a
lot
of
these
courses
are
popular,
they
maybe
aren't
able
to
take
them
until
the
10th
grade
or
sometimes
even
11th
grade.
E
Then
we'd
have
more
of
a
succinct
transition
from
ninth
to
twelfth
grade
with
additional
staffing
to
instruct
those
courses.
E
We
can
always
say
we
need
more
math
teachers,
english
teachers,
social
studies,
but
you
know
most
definitely,
but
if,
if
we're
truly
gonna
get
behind
the
health
care
system,
the
information,
tech,
computer
science,
career
opportunities-
that's
that's
out
there.
We
need
the
manpower
to
help
with
that,
so
I
I
didn't
put
that
in,
but
I'm
I'm
so
glad
someone
did
so.
Thank
you.
J
E
N
E
J
E
Yes,
okay!
Well,
we
have
just
a
few
minutes
left
and
I
needed
to
open
it
up.
So
thank
you
so
much
we
got
through
the
the
main,
huge
ones
for
for
our
secondary
piece,
and
then
I
needed
to
open
the
floor
to
our
sics
to
to
what's
your
thoughts
on
as
we
as
mr
schrebenger
said,
and
moving
forward
with
this
process.
What
would
you
like
to
see
as
far
as
increased
communication?
Would
you
like
to
see
more
joint
meetings
like
this,
so
that
this
strategic
plan
is
a
living
breathing
document?
E
I
I
have
a
couple
of
comments:
jan
davis,
water,
first
off
I
in
past
years,
we've
had
these
meetings,
we
did
them
in
person
and
I'm
looking
at
christine
christie
glad
you
joined
the
person
and
then
we
went
to
they
broke
us
out
the
little
rooms,
and
then
we
came
back
and
everybody.
You
know
the
board
member
made
the
presentation
and
we'd
already
sit
through
that
part.
So
my
suggestion
is
first
off.
I
I
actually
wanted
to
attend
this
meeting
and
I
was
informed
by
kristen
carson's
as
I
got
an
email
back
and
says:
well,
you're
not
on
the
list
to
go
and
I'm
like.
I
don't
know
why.
Why
am
I
not
on
the
list
to
go
and
she
and
there
was-
and
she
had
sent
an
email
and
said
this
meeting
is
only
for
sic
chairs
and
co-chairs.
I
I
I
think
when
we
had
the
meetings
where
one
we
did
at
okatee
and
people
were
all
sitting
in
the
auditorium
were
able
to
raise
their
hand
and
ask
questions.
At
least
it
gave
more
people
than
just
the
leaders
of
the
sic
to
be
able
to
voice
opinions,
and
that
was
a
very
constructive
meeting.
So
I
would
like
to
maybe
recommend
that
we
try
that
again,
and
I
realized
that,
because
of
covid
we
didn't
do
a
number
of
these
meetings.
So
again,
I'm
not
that's.
I
My
only
commun
you
know
comment
is
that
maybe
if
you
have
I
first
off,
I
applaud
that
this
meeting
was
separated
by
high
school
middle
and
elementary
I
mean
one
year
I
got
put
in
the
group
and
I'm
in
elementary
well,
I've
been
there,
but
I
haven't
been
there
for
a
long
time.
So
I
think
that's
an
improvement
with
this
meeting
that
you
were
able
to
separate
it
by
the
appropriate.
You
know
school
level.
E
C
Thank
you.
Okay.
Now
we
get
to
hear
the
output
from
those
breakout
sessions.
We
start
with
the
high
school
who
was
who
who
wants
to
report
out
on
the
high
schools.
E
Mr
strivenger,
this
is
karen
gilbert,
greatly
appreciative
of
our
great
representation.
We
were
able
to
cover
the
three
major
student
achievement
goals,
sa
1.3,
1.4
and
1.5.
E
I
I
think
the
the
consensus
of
the
group
was
that
the
the
goals
itself
were
fine.
We
had
some
good
discussion
on
increasing
some
additional
needs
or
action
items.
E
There
was
a
few
points
that
needed
some
clarification,
so
we
made
note
of
that
and
then,
as
far
as
future
meetings,
our
one
of
our
as
I
see
chairs
would
like
to
see
increased
collaboration
potentially
now
that
we
have
the
virtual
format
and
that
they
liked
she
liked
the
idea
that
we
did
the
breakouts
by
grade
levels
because,
as
we
know,
each
has
some
unique
needs
for
the
team
that
we
have
does
anyone
else
want
to
add
anything
that
stood
out.
J
Mrs
gilbert,
I
think
the
recommendation
for
a
parent
guide
to
educational
language
may
be
something
that
we
could.
I
I
will
share
with
communications
as
well.
That
was
an
excellent
suggestion.
Right,
it's
user-friendly
and
since
we've
developed
a
school
guide,
maybe
we
could
look
at
expanding
that
and
adding
some
type
of
language
to
that.
You
know
need
to
know
points
and
I'll
speak
to
candace.
Our
director
of
communication.
C
On
improving
these
meetings,.
C
Yes,
ma'am,
okay,
all
right
elementary
school
who?
Who
will
do
that.
P
I
guess
that
would
be
me
so
in
terms
of
the
presentation
of
the
strategic
draft
goals,
the
goals
that
were
brought
forward
were
discussed.
There
were
some
recommendations
and
questions
regarding
percentages
of
student
achievement
that
will
be
mr
flowers
indicated
he
would
get
back
and
and
talk
with
the
principals
about
that
and
and
made
some
changes
in
terms
of
the
questions.
P
Do
you
want
to
continue
to
have
joint
meetings?
The
answer
was:
yes,
people
want
to
continue
to
have
the
joint
meetings.
P
P
Their
meeting
was
supposed
to
be
tonight
or
you
know,
so
we
need
to
be
more
proactive
with
getting
our
calendar
out
there
aware
that
when
the
joint
meetings
will
be,
they
also
suggested
or
something
that
rose
to
the
the
top
or
a
suggestion
that
was
discussed
was
that
perhaps
there
would
be
a
timeline
of
so
if
each
and
the
the
idea
of
cluster
meetings
was
also
brought
up
and
that
the
sics
meet
in
cluster
groups
and
it
seemed
that
most
of
them
were
doing.
P
I
didn't
hear
anything
from
the
bluffton
cluster
on
that,
but
I
I
know
that
battery
creek
whale
branch-
and
I
know
that
hilton
head
is
just
starting
to
do
that.
I
believe
from
they
that
they
found
that
meeting
in
beaufort
and
meeting
as
cluster
groups.
P
They
were
able
to
work
together
and
come
up
with
some
actions
that
would
benefit
all
the
students
in
their
cluster,
and
that
leads
me
to
the
other
recommendation
was
that
our
agendas
have
actions
action
steps
on
them
so
that
when
we
come
together,
there
are
going
to
be
things
that
we
are
going
to
discuss
and
take
some
action
on.
When
we
leave
the
meeting,
we
will
say
okay,
this
topic
of-
let's
just
say
I
hate
to
even
say
this
one
again,
but
this
topic
of
student
uniforms
came
up
again.
P
So
what's
the
action
that
we're
gonna
do
we're
gonna
create
a
survey?
Send
it
out
to
parents,
get
some
data
to
to
move
forward,
but
it
could
be.
You
know
I
just
bring
up
that,
because
that
was
an
easy
one
to
make
an
example
of,
but
a
couple
of
the
the
beaufort
group
has
gave
some
great
examples
of
some
action
steps
that
their
cluster
has
come
up
with.
So
I
would
look
for
the
leadership
within
this
group
to
to
move
forward.
P
They
they
all
you
know,
had
good
things
to
say
when
I
came
to
talk.
They
didn't
want
to
help
facilitate,
but
they
certainly
participated,
and
I
thank
everyone
and
value
everyone's
input.
Another
thing
that
was
brought
up
was
how
to
increase
parental
involvement
in
the
sic
meetings
themselves
and
what
could
be
done
by
the
sics
or
the
schools
to
increase
that
parental
involvement
to
make
that
connection
to
parental
involvement?
C
M
Of
course,
we
were
able
to
get
through
to
discuss
student
achievement
1.1
and
1.2.
We
also
discussed
school
climate
1.0
and
we
talked
briefly
about
teacher
and
administrative
quality
1.0.
We
did
make
a
few
changes
most
of
those
revolved
around
supports
for
our
school.
We
looked
at
things
such
as
mentoring,
those
kind
of
things
we
talked
about
professional
development,
we
added
those
all
to
the
documents
so
that
we
could
take
a
little
bit
deeper.
Look
at
those.
M
We
also
talked
about
doing
a
quarterly
school
climate
survey
to
give
schools
that
data
in
a
little
bit
more
timely
frame
so
that
they
could
work
on
those
improvements
throughout
the
year
and
address
issues
throughout
the
year.
The
other
thing
that
I
think
we
discussed
that
was
really
valuable.
Is
we
discussed
a
lot
about
professional
development
as
far
as
our
different
schools
and
specifically,
what
each
school
needs?
M
C
C
C
So
we
need
to
look
at
that
communication
of
the
objectives
to
everyone
needs
to
be
looked
at
and
I'm
not
sure
what
the
mechanics
of
that
are,
because
I
don't
know
how
the
sics
work,
but
that
goes
leads
into
us.
The
next
item,
which
was
expanding
the
spectrum
of
attendees
there
don't
seem
to
be
many
parents
coming
to
these
meetings,
and
that
could
be
an
sic
structure
thing.
It
could
be
something
just
out
of
habit.
C
C
So
you
know
that
may
be
way
off.
It
just
doesn't
appear
that
we
have
a
a
spectrum
at
the
meetings,
so
those
those
were
the
four
suggestions
that
the
group
came
up
with
all
really
good
suggestions
and
all
these
suggestions
are
in
fact
leading
into
that
first,
one,
which
is
follow-up,
so
we're
going
to
have
to
look
at
these
afterwards,
get
them
out
here
where
there's
suggestions
and
then
you
know
the
board's
gonna
have
to
say:
okay,
this
is
what
we're
gonna
do.
C
No,
no!
Okay,
thanks
all
right!
The
next
topic
is
future
topics
and
format.
I
gather
from
the
feedback
in
our
group
that
the
format's
just
fine
the
way
it
is
if
we
make
these
changes.
Q
C
K
Thank
you.
I
do
think
that
the
format
on
in
our
cluster
in
our
group,
our
high
school
group,
a
woman,
suggested
that
perhaps
it
should
be
in
person,
and
I
agreed
with
that.
I
don't
know
if
we
had
a
lot
of
other
comment,
but
I
didn't
want
that
to
go
by
without
no
notice.
I
think
that
it's
lovely
to
do
to
do
meetings
on
zoom,
but
I
think
there's
no
reason
why
we
can't
get
together
in
person,
and
I
would
I
would
recommend
that.
Q
Yes,
I
one
thing
mrs
gilbert
talked
about
with
the
evening
academy
and
fluency,
and
I
I
think
that
we
should
look
at,
I
believe
just
for
me.
I
believe
that
even
the
eastern
academy
could
help
with
with
closing
achievement
gaps
as
far
as
truancy.
Q
I
think
we
need
to
look
at
that
again
and
see
that
if
the
district
is
talking
to
the
right
folks
about
this,
because
it's
a
problem
in
this
district,
those
are
my
thoughts.
Thank
you.
O
Kristen
does
a
summary
and
I
can
assist
we.
We
do
them
together.
Okay,
kristen
does
the
summary,
and
I
can
do
the
minutes.
C
Okay,
I
don't
any
other
hands.
I
think
it's
time
to.
Thank
you,
everyone
for
your
input.
It
really
was
extremely
valuable
tonight.
I
I
think
this
meeting
this
meeting
set
the
tone
for
how
we
should
do
meetings
from
now
on
and
get
you
know
tangible
and
valuable
takeaways,
and
we
did
that
tonight.
So,
thank
you
all.
