Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
public
notification
of
the
meeting
has
been
published
and
posted
and
distributed
in
compliance
with
the
South
Carolina
Freedom
of
Information
Act.
You
all
receive
copies
of
the
agenda.
I
mean
some
some
of
our
board
members
online.
Any
corrections
or
changes
to
the
agenda
set
the
motion
to
approve
the
agenda
as
published
I
moved
on
in
a
second
Chris
all
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye
and
he
posed
agenda
passes
minutes.
You've
all
received
copies
of
last
month's
finish.
A
C
B
A
Second,
for
man
all
in
favor,
please
say
goodbye
by
saying:
I
I
have
any
opposed
minutes
passed,
but
we
now
move
into
the
public
common
portion
of
our
meeting
three
minutes
per
session.
Please
and
I
found
the
board.
That
is
not
a
time
for
rebuttal.
It's
just
a
time
for
us
to
listen
to
see
what
the
public
has.
Is
there
any
public
here
that
would
like
to
address
the
board
or
any
airport
and
Aviation
issues
come
on
up
and
just
please
state
your
name
yeah.
D
D
My
wife
and
I
Natalie
and
her
two
young
adults
just
moved
here
to
Hilton
Head
back
in
July
I
have
two
teenagers
back
in
Ohio.
My
wife
works
here
locally
and
I
have
an
energy
and
lighting
business.
This
is
Chase
and
he's
my
stepson.
D
His
dad
died
when
he
was
young
and
his
dad
originally
got
him
interested
in
airplanes
when
he
they
used
to
go
to
the
Columbus
airport
and
watch
them
take
off
and
and
everything
so
he's
been
a
Enthusiast
to
say
the
least.
He
graduated
from
high
school
back
in
Columbus
and
got
a
certificate
in
aviation
and
he
he
worked
at
Columbus
airport
as
a
wheelchair
attendant,
and
he
he
has
autism
and
he
probably
won't
drive.
So
we
can
try
to
get
him
a
job
at
the
airport,
but
he
had
to
have
a
license.
D
A
All
right,
well,
very
nice,
so
welcome
welcome
to
Hilton
Head,
thank
you
and
if
you
leave,
you
know
some
written
information
with
us,
a
name
address
phone
number
contact
number
we're
always
looking
for
volunteers,
always
looking
for
help
we'd
be
happy
to
reach
out
the
appropriate
time
and
see
if
you're
available.
Okay.
Thank
you
all
right,
thanks
for
coming
today.
C
It's
quick,
yes,
well.
Welcome
to
chase
he's
contacted
us
before
looking
for
for
something
to
do
so.
He
gave
me
a
packet
of
information
that
I
think
is
some
nice
letters
of
recommendation
from
CMH,
so
we're
going
to
take
we're
gonna
get
our
Wheels
turned
and
new
on
this,
because
I
think
we
could,
you
know,
use
somebody
like
him.
He's
got
a
great
memory
for
history
and
things
like
that.
C
So
there
may
be
a
storytelling
opportunity
or
something
like
that
inside
the
terminal,
so
Ambassador
team
good,
looking
look
out,
we
may
have
a
new,
a
new
join
for
you,
so
all
right,
let's
see
I've,
got
to
somehow
so
I'm
gonna
get
my
cursing.
Oh
wait,
I'm
right
there
all
right!
Let
me
share
screens
here
and
we
share
this
guy.
C
You
can
all
see
what
I'm
doing
here
you
can
see
inside
my
head.
That's
a
scary
thing!
You
don't
want
to
be
there
trust
me!
Okay,
anybody
know
where
that
is.
Please
somebody!
That's
the
end
of
the
runway.
Yeah
nice
picture.
It's
kind
of
an
interesting
perspective,
because
if
you
know
that's,
that's
the
North
End
there
looking
South
so
you're.
Actually,
up
on
a
little
bit
of
a
hill
there,
so
that
the
EMASS
is
almost
hidden
but
the
e-masses
is
there
so
kind
of
a
cool
perspective
of
that
yeah.
C
C
There
we
go
all
right.
A
little
Sunrise
picture.
I
should
have
quizzed
you
on
that
too,
to
make
sure
you're
oriented
to
the
airport
I
miss
that
one
make
sure
you
know
you're.
Looking
East
okay,
first
thing,
Howard
brought
up
last
month
that
we
take
a
look
at
the
operating
agreement.
From
the
time
of
last
meeting
to
this
meeting,
I've
had
an
opportunity
to
speak
with
County
legal
as
well
as
some
Aviation
law,
Consultants,
just
kind
of
run.
This
idea
past
them
and
they
they
feel
that
it's
very
appropriate
to
develop
a
second
agreement.
C
C
Sure
next
one
economic
development
project
I've
probably
spoken
about
this
in
the
past,
but
this
is
what's
been
referred
to
as
project
cloud
in
the
past,
and
this
is
a
project
that
is
coming
to
us
by
way
of
the
Beaufort
County
Economic,
Development
Corporation,
and
we
just
recently
the
beginning
of
the
summer,
saw
the
first
sight
plan
of
how
this
group
may
lay
some
some
property
out
there
for
development
purposes
and
the
the
property
would
be
located
actually
to
the
to
the
north
east
corner.
So
actually
on
the
slide.
C
You're
looking
at
is
kind
of
off
to
the
to
the
left,
far
left
lower
side.
There's
a
lot
of
details
still
coming
together
on
that
it'd
be
a
new
business.
Moving
on
to
the
island.
So
we're
trying
to
work
out
some
of
the
details,
and
a
lot
of
that
is,
is
kind
of
between
the
the
developer
and
then
you
know
primarily
the
kind
of
the
town
and
the
county
to
just
look
at
the
economic
benefits
of
the
project
and
then
look
at
the
the
costs
associated
with
putting
in
this
type
of
business.
B
C
Keep
you
updated
on
that
there
was
a
request
from
that
that
business
to
to
basically
also
develop
the
portion
of
land-
that's
kind
of
dead
center
in
that
slide,
which
is
right
by
the
air
traffic
control
control
tower
between
that
and
the
ARF.
The
airport's
not
ready
to
to
do
that
at
this
point.
So
we've
encouraged
them
to
continue
looking
at
that
North
End
and
develop
that
to
the
fullest
extent
that
they
can.
C
But,
as
you
all
well
know,
the
only
Acres
that
the
airport's
got
to
develop
is
that
between
the
the
Tower
and
the
ARF,
so
we
will
not
dance
with
the
first
people
who
come
to
the
to
the
dance.
We
need
to
be
very,
very
deliberate,
intentional
as
to
what
we
do
with
that,
because
once
that
piece
is
developed,
that's
all
we
have.
So
we
are
intentionally
going
to
slow
walk
that
any
questions
on
the
development
more
details,
hopefully
in
the
next
few
months
3600
road
is
I,
was
hoping.
C
I
could
tell
you
that
it
closed
as
of
Tuesday,
but
that's
still
in
the
process
of
closing
it's
difficult,
because
the
property
owners
in
a
different
state.
So
we're
having
to
collaborate
or
correspond
via
email
and
and
phone,
and
if
you
anybody's,
got
a
law
background
once
you
get
lawyers
involved,
they
can
talk
about
some
things.
They
can
talk
about
with
some
people,
but
they
can't
talk
about
everything
with
all
the
parties
involved.
So
it's
been
very
interesting
to
to
close
this
across
a
mile,
so
we're
very
close.
C
If
you
recall
there
were
several
aspects
of
the
bil
funding
and
one
of
them
was
I,
don't
want
to
call
it
entitlement
money,
but
it
was
money
that
was
assigned
to
an
airport
to
be
used
very
similarly
to
normal
FAA
AIP
funds.
So
Our
intention
is
to
apply
for
the
the
90
reimbursement
from
the
FAA
using
the
bil
funds,
because
there'll
be
more
readily
accessible.
C
So
that's
a
good
good,
quick
reimbursement
of
the
county
funds
on
that
one,
and
that
is
the
last
property
on
Hunter
Road
that
the
airport
will
need
to
acquire
during
this
phase
and
the
other
aspect
about
that
is
on
that
property.
On
portion
of
that
property
is
where
Avis
Budget
rental
cars,
currently
services
or
Vehicles,
so
they
they
wash
them
vacuum
everything
and
get
them
ready
to
go
back
into
the
rotation
on
that
property.
C
Okay,
next
one,
we,
after
a
long
time,
I
guess
what
two
a
little
bit
over
two
years.
We've
got
an
ARF
chief,
so
he's
going
to
fly
in
through
the
clouds
there.
Bobby
Davidson
and
I've
got
a
cheat
sheet
on
Bobby,
because
I
wanted
to
give
a
little
bit
of
biographical
invitation
or
information
on
invitation.
C
I
think
I
lost.
His
paperwork
did
I,
give
it
to
you,
rocia
great
I
gotta
go
by
memory.
Okay,
so
Bobby
came
to
us
from
Burton
fire
department
and
he
was
a
training
officer
with
Burton
and
I.
Think
he's
got
about
30
years
of
experience,
30
35
years
in
the
fire
industry,
fire
business
and
prior
to
that
he
was
in
the
Air
Force
and
he
worked
in
the
communications
sector
of
the
Air
Force.
So
he's
got
a
military
background
as
well.
C
When
Bobby
came
to
us
back
in
the
late
winter
of
last
year,
he
took
a
real
interest
in
really
revamping
our
training
program
and
and
really
just
dove
into
the
details
of
the
job.
And
then
we
decided
it
was
time
to
advertise
for
a
chief
Bobby
asked
for
consideration.
So
we,
when
we
put
the
the
advertisement
out
he
applied
and
Mark,
do
you
have
a
question.
C
All
good
gotcha
thank
you,
so
Bobby
applied
and,
and
he
ended
up
being
our
selection
as
the
chief
and
and
he's
really
taken
the
bull
by
the
horns.
He
had
I,
don't
remember
if
we
named
him
Chief
right
before
the
fa,
inspection
I
think
probably
right
before
the
inspection.
So
it
really
threw
him
into
the
from
the
firing
or
from
the
frying
pan
Into
the
Fire.
C
He
did
a
great
job
and
and
he's
just
consuming
information
as
we
feed
it
to
him,
and
then
he's
he's
he's
thinking
through
it
and
working
through
and
coming
up
with
new
training
schedules,
new
accountability
programs
and
things
like
that
so
really
excited
to
have
Bobby
in
there.
So
if
you
see
him
around,
if
you
buy
the
ARF
for
whatever
reason
Bobby's
going
to
be
there
he's
kind
of
normal
business
hours
like
we
are
and
then
of
course
he's
on
call
all
the
time.
C
But
if
you
do
get
by
there,
introduce
yourself
to
Bobby
and
he's
going
to
be
a
great
addition
to
the
team.
C
All
right
terminal
project
update,
you
can
kind
of
see,
there's
a
rainbow
in
that
picture.
That's
not
Photoshop!
That
was
real
and
the
pot
of
gold
at
the
end
of
the
rainbow
is
that
terminal.
So
I
want
to
tell
you
that
last
time
we
measured
economic
impact
of
this
airport,
it
was
416-17
million
dollars
a
year
as
an
annual
economic
impact
that
was
during.
C
That
was
just
before
covid
and
we've,
obviously
rebounded
significantly
after
covid,
so
I
dare
say
it's
higher
than
than
that
now,
but
that
truly
is
a
pot
of
gold
at
the
end
of
the
runway
there,
at
the
end
of
the
rainbow
that
continues
to
to
pay
dividends
to
the
town
and
to
the
county
and
what
it
produces
where
we
are
at
that
project.
Now
we
have
received
the
biz
I
mentioned
last
month.
C
The
bids
came
in
in
high
is
probably
not
surprising,
given
today's
environment,
the
atmosphere
out
there
and
and
the
inflationary
world
that
we're
in
now
so
they
did
come
in
in
high
and
what
we've
decided
to
do
as
a
County
Airport
team
is
to
we're
going
to
rebid
the
project.
So
we
cancel
the
first
round
of
bids
and
we're
going
to
repackage
the
project
so
that
the
first
phase
that
we
bid
will
the
scope
of
work
involved
in
that
phase
will
be
completely
financed
by
what
we
already
have
on
hand.
C
So
any
any
grants
and
funding
we've
already
received
we'll
pay
for
that
initial
phase
that
we
bid
there'll,
be
some
flexibility
built
into
that
scope
of
work
in
the
way
of
some
some
bid
alternates
in
the
event
that
additional
funding
comes
in
because
there'll
be
a
you
know,
months-long
process
to
kind
of
repackage,
rebid,
evaluate
the
bids
and
and
be
ready
to
be
back
in
a
position
to
award
a
contract
in
that
time
period.
We're
you
know
expecting
hoping
that
more
funding
may
become
available.
C
We
are
still
waiting
on
the
South
Carolina
Aeronautics
to
make
the
determination
of
how
much
of
that
50
million
that's
set
aside
for
commercial
airports
would
come
our
way.
There's
also
a
second
round
of
competitive
terminal
grants
through
the
bil,
and
we
should
be
getting
that
notice
of
funding
opportunity
any
day,
and
then
we
also
are
still
working
with
our
state
delegation
in
Columbia.
C
If
you
remember,
they
were
able
to
deliver
12
million
in
the
kind
of
mid
summer
of
this
year
and
there's
been
some
I
guess
some
some
talks
with
the
delegation
and
they
feel
that
their
their
work's
not
done
in
support
of
this
project.
Yet
so
there
are
other
funding
opportunities
out
there,
which
is
why
we
want
to
add
some
alternates
to
that
scope
of
work
so
that
in
the
event
that
we
get
funding,
we
can
expand
that
scope
and
execute
a
little
bit
more.
So
look
for
that.
C
It's
going
to
take
a
couple
of
months
to
because
you
know
basically
got
to
a
point
and
then
had
to
call
time
out
look
at
the
plans.
We've
got
ask
the
Architects
to
kind
of
take
them
apart
and
put
them
back
together
in
a
format
that
we're
able
to
bid
by
phase
that's
going
to
take.
You
know
several
more
weeks
to
get
that
teed
up.
C
So
it's
probably
going
to
be
later
on
this
calendar
year
that
we're
set
up
for
a
bid
and
then
we'll
determine
the
best
timing
of
that
based
on
a
multitude
of
issues,
including
the
fact
that
there's
something
going
on
that
first
week
of
November
I
think
that
everybody's
talking
about
which
could
potentially
have
some
bearing
on
on
prices
in
the
inflationary
environment.
We're
in
now
so
that'd
be
the
election
I
hate
to
say
you
have
to
wait
for
everything
until
after
the
election,
but
it
might
make
a
difference.
C
C
And
I
can't
see
our
visitors
now
so
I
can
see
Mark
I
shouldn't,
say:
visitors
are
remote,
attendees
Ian's
on
there
too.
So
if
anybody's
got
questions,
just
speak
up,
notify
us
somehow
right.
C
C
C
You
know,
that's
been
paying
for
the
design
and
everything
so
far,
but
the
item
that
you're
going
to
vote
on
today
that
second
Grant,
which
11.6
that
will
have
a
we
just
approved
that
the
County
Administrator
and
attorney
signed
last
week
and
this
week,
so
we've
got
until
I
think
what
was
it?
The
14th
I
think
as
four
years
from
yesterday
to
execute
that
one.
So
we've
got
a
lot
of
time
there.
Bill
is
the
same
way.
So
if
we
were
to
get
funding
through
the
bil,
that's
got
four-year
period
of
performance
as
well.
C
We
don't
have
any
details
on
that
state
money,
so
I
don't
know.
Yet.
If
they're,
you
know,
if
that
12
million
has
a
a
one-year
you
know
timer
on
it,
I
really
don't
know
yet
so
we'll
get
some
more
information.
That's
the
one
I'm
kind
of
most
concerned
about
just
because
we
don't
have
any
details
yet
so.
C
Yes,
what
we're
looking
at
now
is
probably
rebidding
that,
like
I,
said
towards
the
end
of
this
calendar
year
or
first
part
of
January.
So
ideally
and
again,
this
is
all
a
very
you
know-
not
sharpened
pencil.
We're
looking
at
bids,
you
know,
late
December,
early,
January
and
theoretically
should
be
a
little
smoother
quicker
bid
process.
We
did
only
give
six
weeks
last
time,
but
we
can
I
think
narrow
that
to
30
days
folks
will
be
familiar
with
this.
C
Maybe
we'll
get
a
few
more
bidders,
because
the
scope
will
be
a
little
bit
smaller
and
you
may
have
a
little
bit.
You
know
that
that
lowers
the
amount
of
bonding
that
the
contractor
has
to
do,
which
might
bring
more
players
in
so
we'll
look
at
30
days
and
then
some
evaluation
and
award
that
bid.
So
you
know,
theoretically,
we
could
be
ready
to
award
a
bid,
probably
in
the
late
winter,
early
spring
or
award
a
contract
late
winter
early
spring
time
frame.
A
C
Yes,
another
great
question
so
making
sure
that
that
initial
phase
that
we
construct
is
a
usable
unit
of
work.
Yes,
it
is,
and
yes
it
actually
has
to
be
to
satisfy
the
FAA
Grant
requirements
too.
So,
yes,
the
first
phase
will
be.
If
you
look
at
this
picture,
it's
going
to
be
down
towards
the
the
left.
That'll
be
the
new
boarding
Gates,
the
new
security
screening
checkpoint.
All
of
that
will
be
completely
constructed
and
usable.
The
one
item:
that's
that's
hanging
out.
There
is
a
as
an.
C
If
would
be,
the
the
passer
boarding
Gates,
those
are
expensive
items.
They
can
easily
be
taken
off
and
added
back
on.
If
they
need
to
be.
You
can
always
groundboard
these
aircrafts
if
we
need
to
because
of
budget
constraints,
so
we'll
wait
and
see
on
those
working
several
options.
But
the
big
thing
is
yes:
we'll
have
that
new
piece
of
the
building
fully
operational.
C
C
A
C
G
All
right
well,
I
mean:
are
you
going
to
talk
about
the
playments
or
anything
I
just
have
I?
Have
a
I
have
a
question
looking
just
at
the
numbers,
comparing
them
to
21
and
22.,
because
we
don't
have
flight,
Ops
I,
don't
know
the
flights.
Is
that
the
number
of
deplaniments
is
that
based
on
more
there's,
not
enough
flights
come
in
or
the
flight's
more
empty.
C
G
C
As
expected,
I
I
will
give
my
shout
out
to
American.
American
continually
is
our
lead
performer
in
adding
those
flights
in
the
summertime
and
reaching
out
to
those
different
cities.
So
they've
done
a
great
job
to
boost
our
numbers.
All
the
airlines
are
experiencing
difficulties.
As
you
know,
Delta
and
United
are
still
a
little
bit
newer
in
the
market.
So
they've
got
a
lot
of
you
know.
They've
got
to
kind
of
feel
this
out
and
make
sure
it's
everything's
working
for
them.
A
C
Do
there's
actually
there's
going
to
be
some
breaks,
United
and
Delta
are
going
to
take
a
couple
of
months
off
and
I
will
update
that
when
we
get
their
actual
schedules,
but
it
looks
like
we'll
have
but
Americans
full
all
the
way
through
they
do
drop
down
to
just
Charlotte
the
way
they
do
each
year.
I
don't
know
specifically
when
each
of
the
Cities
falls
off,
because
that
kind
of
staggers
usually
into
October,
so
we'll
figure
out
what
that
looks
like.
C
They're
they're,
very
you
know
fragile
at
this
point
and
exploratory
I
guess
but
they're
very
similar
to
this
year's,
so
whether
they're
loaded
as
placeholders,
because
they
just
hit
copy
paste
I,
don't
know.
But
it
looks
very
similar
to
this
year.
C
C
We
also
I,
guess
Mark
was
in
the
meeting.
He
missed
that
one
he
was
working
and.
C
C
What
we're
shooting
for
that's
the
end-all,
be-all,
big
goal
that
that
we're
going
to
strive
for
okay,
keep
in
mind
a
vision
is
something
that
is
is
visionary
and
it's
potentially
not
attainable,
but
it's
something
that
we're
going
to
aim
for.
C
Well,
it
is
general
aviation
all
right
and
then
the
mission,
okay,
the
mission
is,
is
what
we
do,
who
we
do
it
for
and
how
we
do
it.
The
Beaufort
Executive
Airport
delivers
an
efficient
and
laid-back
Low
Country
experience
to
our
Aviation
Community.
Our
Superior
customer
service
ensures
the
highest
quality
service
at
affordable
rates.
Our
airport
is
a
valued
Community
Asset
that
will
continue
to
develop
as
we
meet
the
needs
of
our
region.
A
C
F
John
last
month,
you
talked
about
the
fact
that,
due
to
variations
in
activity
at
the
airport
that
there
might
be
closures
of
the
fpo
on
on
certain
days
of
the
week,
is
that
still
going
into
effect,
and
how
does
that
conflict
with
the
mission
statement?
Thank
you.
C
Yeah
we've
talked
about
that
on
the
staff
level
and
I.
Don't
think
that,
right
now
it
looks
like
we're
not
going
to
do
that.
I
think
that
we
made.
We
may
have
an
instance
where
the
person
who's
working
the
desk
or
you
know
our
Line
Tech-
might
be
out
doing
some
maintenance
on
the
airport.
It
might
need
to
be
called,
but
they'd
still
be
there
to
serve
the
aircraft.
C
I
think
that's
probably
how
we're
going
to
handle
it,
because
we've
got
enough
other
things
to
do
at
the
airport
that
if,
if
we
have
a
slow
period
as
far
as
fueling,
they
can
be
running
the
lawn
mowers
and
maintaining
the
property.
So
that's
probably
where
we're
going
with
that
Brian.
Thanks
for
the
follow-up
on
that.
C
And
plus
in
the
next
week,
or
so
secession
comes
back
into
season
and
then
that
discussions
booed
anyway
because
we're
going
to
be
busy
and
it's
amazing
what
a
little
bit
of
sunshine
will
do
and
I
know.
We've
said
that
before,
but
you
know
we
kind
of
had
the
monsoon
season
for
a
little
while
there
and
when
the
sun
came
out
this
week
it
has
been
extremely
busy
up
there.
C
You
know
off
and
on
with
highs
and
lows,
but
much
busier
than
it
has
been
for
the
last
month
and
a
half
and
that
we
attribute
that
to
just
the
the
weather.
Have
we've
had
great
thanks
Ian
for
the
Chamber
of
Commerce
weather.
Keep
it
coming.
It's
been,
it's
been
good
for
us,
so
that's
all
I've
got
unless
there's
any.
A
C
Okay,
there's
two
action
items
today:
the
the
first
we'll
take
a
separately
since
they're
one
for
each
Airport.
The
first
one
is
a
work,
authorization
for
Talbot,
Brighton
Ellington
and
that's
to
execute
the
design
work
and
the
bidding
work
for
our
Runway
rehab
project.
That's
on
the
it's
on
our
CIP
list,
with
the
with
the
FAA
and
we've
received
a
grant
for
that
design
as
well.
C
So
it's
just
to
exit
or
to
this
boat
would
be
to
authorize
that
that
work,
authorization
and
it
will
go
from
you
to
public
facilities
committee,
probably
in
October,
because
they
they
meet
next
week,
so
it'll
be
October.
I,
think
they'd
be
Monday.
If
I'm
not.
A
Any
questions
I'll
entertain
a
motion
to
approve
the
work,
authorization
for
arw,
219-2103
and
Mark.
Why
don't
you
make
that
motion?
Get
you
a
little
involved
that
okay
wave
your
hand,
if
you
can
do
that.
Thank
you.
We'll
take
a
second
I'm
here
fry
in
a
second
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye
any
opposed.
A
C
All
right,
thank
you
and
the
next
one
on
there
is
item
11
and
that's
a
grant
acceptance
for
the
FAA
Grant,
and
this
is
Grant
50,
and
this
is
the
11.6
million
dollar
Grant.
That's
in
support
of
the
construction
for
the
terminal-
and
this
is
that
second
FAA
grant
that
we
spoke
about
for
the
last
couple
of
years.
B
A
Any
further
discussion
well
in
favor,
please
signify
by
saying
aye
raising
a
hand
for
those
online
any
opposed.
None
you're
young
thank.
C
D
A
It
back
to
you
all
right.
Thank
you,
John.
Thank
you
for
the
update.
Let's
move
into
committee
reports
and
Leslie
passenger
service
I
wanted
to
discuss
the
very
successful
ambassador
program
that
you
put
together
for
Hilton
Head.
Thank.
B
You
yes,
I
sent
everyone.
A
final
report
so
hope
you've
had
a
chance.
B
B
We
learned
a
lot
from
it.
We
we
had
to
we
about
halfway
through
we
realized.
We
don't
need
two
people.
We
were
only
using
one
and
that
helped
a
little
bit
too,
but
it
did.
It
worked
very,
very
well.
In
fact,
the
the
volunteers
were
so
well
accepted
by
everyone.
All
the
passengers
I
have
a
nice
little
gift
here
that
was
sent
to
the
airport
for
one
of
our
volunteers.
B
We
don't
know
what
it
is,
but
we're
not
opening
it
until
so.
You
know
they,
they
really
did
they
took
it,
took
it
seriously
and
they
enjoyed
doing
it.
I
got
positive
feedback
from
them,
and
I
wanted
a
specialty
thank
Howard
and
Jim
Buckley
and
Mark
Bailey
and
Thomas
Sheehan,
because
they
Rose
to
the
occasion
and
were
worked
as
ambassadors
as
well,
so
that
was
really
special
to
have
them
involved.
B
So
we'll
look,
we're
closing
it
down
until
next
year
and
we'll
wait
and
see
what
John
wants
us
to
do.
There
may
be
a
little
different
role
with
the
terminal
construction,
but
I
do
think.
There's
probably
some
role
that
we
can
play
and
I
will
be
out
there
recruiting
once
again
for
volunteers.
If
you
would
like
to
be
an
advocate
for
our
Airport
Hilton,
Head,
Island
airport
or
you
know,
and
help
to
welcome
our
passengers
to
guide
them
through
the
process
make
it
easier
for
them.
A
Hello
say:
thank
you
very
much
great
program,
great
concept,
your
idea
and
great
execution
I
want
to
thank
us
thank
Steve
and
John,
also
for
for
working
with
Leslie
and
making
all
these
things
happen
at
hxt
and
we
look
forward
to
another
round
next
year.
It
was
a
good
year
for
learning
curve,
but
very
successful
program.
A
Why
don't
we
go
over
to
arw
Chris?
You
want
to
deal
with
the
arw
report.
G
Yeah
we
so
we
had
a
meeting
of
last
week
and
discussed
counties
working
on
doing
some
hangers
T
hangers,
that's
kind
of
in
the
design
phase
right
now
we're
waiting
for
the
design
to
come
back
to
us.
We
also
had
some
got
an
update
on
the
old
mitigation
that
we
had,
which
has
been
taken
care
of,
and
we're
have
a
meeting
with
Asher
Howe
just
to
learn
more
about
understanding
mitigation,
since
none
of
us
know
that
much
about
it
and
trying
to
get
a
better
handle.
G
G
C
G
G
G
You
know
the
final
design
hasn't
been
done,
but
just
adding
to
the
now
that
we're
on
septic
we
can
are
not
on
septic.
Now
that
we're
on
sewer
that
septic
area
we
can,
we
can
use
to
to
put
in
put
in
hangers,
so
there
were
Steve
and
John
are
working
on
on
that
on
the
design
they're
going
to
bring
it
back
to
the
arw
Review
Committee
when
they
get
to
that
point,
it.
G
A
B
A
G
No,
it
was
a
you
put
out
a
great
email,
though,
on
that
I
read
through
that
for
the
ambassador
program.
So
it's
a
you
know
that
that's
a
feather
and
now
I
look
at
airports
when
I
go
in
and
see.
If
there's
any
ambassadors,
I
haven't
seen
any
you're.
Still
the
Hilton
head's
the
only
place
I've
seen
well.
G
A
Didn't
quite
go
that
far
all
right!
Well,
thank
you.
Everybody!
We
once
again
back
go
back
to
our
public
portion,
and
that
reminds
our
comment.
Is
it's
approximately
three
minutes
and
for
the
board,
not
a
rebuttal
session,
but
a
good
listening
session,
so
Glenn.
B
D
B
B
You
know
I
try
to
work
to
get
that,
but
that's
that's
pretty
much
it
most
very
appreciative.
They
would
come
I.
Think
it's
a
great
thing
for
the
Leos,
because
now
that
they
know
we're
there,
we
have
shirts
and
we
have
a
Podium.
They
don't
bother
the
Leos
as
much
and
I.
Think
that's
nice
too,
because
they
know
we're
there
and
they
will
ask
us
questions.
B
Transportation
has
been
an
issue
because
they
they're
used
to
arriving
at
an
airport
and
having
transport
there
waiting
for
them.
They
had
a
bus
or
a
taxi,
and
so
we
have
to
explain
to
them.
We
give
them
information
of
who
to
call
and
why
they
have
to
call
I
I
still
think
it
would
be
great
if
we
could
work
out
something
with
the
hotels
to
sponsor
a
bus
to
get
some
of
these
people
to
the
hotels,
because
several
of
those
people
that
asked
me
were
going
to
hotels,
sure.
H
Well,
that
creates
some
interesting
challenges,
I
think
to
share
information
better
with
with
the
public.
That's
arriving
here,
enlists
the
airports
to
help
in
some
way
or
have
some
flyer
that
is
available
to
incoming
passengers
so
that
they
could
understand
some
more
of
the
rules
that
are
here
but
I
think
the
idea
of
receiving
people
answering
their
questions
in
a
friendly
basis
is
outstanding,
and
so
thank
you
for
your
service.
There
you're
welcome
so.
A
Glenn
before
you
go
I'd
like
to
adjust
the
reliability
issue,
just
a
bit
I
think
the
liability
issue
with
the
the
reliability,
not
liability.
Reliability
issue
really
falls
back
to
the
older
aircraft
that
we
had
and
before
we
had
the
runway
extension
at
Hilton
Head
airport
right.
We
had
no
low
Approach
at
that
time.
A
We
do
now,
and
reliability
has
gone
up
dramatically
for
all
now,
all
three
carriers,
since
we've
extended
the
runway,
and
we
now
have
low
approaches
to
the
airport,
but
I
think
that
that'll
take
a
little
time
to
wash
out
to
the
general
public
both
to
our
landowners
on
Hilton
Head
and
to
our
visitors,
who
still
sometimes
choose
Savannah
first,
because
they
don't
always
know
they
can
fly
direct
and
two.
Some
of
them
may
still
be
worried
about
reliability,
but
I
I
think
that
issue
to
a
large
extent
is
a
result.
Yeah.
H
E
Interested
in
solving
problems,
if
the
hotels
have
a
role
to
play,
have
they
already
been
contacted
in
a
way
that
they
can
say
yes
or
no
I.
A
G
Would
agree
with
about
the
Chamber
of
Commerce
only
because
you
look
at
it.
That's
that's!
Moving
passenger,
that's
paying
that
hotel
I
would
think
the
hotels
would
want
to
want
to
command
which
most
of
them,
probably
a
member
of
the
Chamber
of
Commerce,
so
Chamber
of
Commerce,
my
opinion
would
be
the
better
Factor
if
we
they
may
not
know
of
the
problem.
So
it's
really
just
a
matter
of
sometimes
alerting
them
to
say:
hey,
here's,
what
here's!
What
we're.
A
Seeing
maybe
during
the
month
we
can
discuss
the
issue
and
John
have
it.
You
know
John
come
up
with
a
resolution
and
direction
for
either
his
staff
or
the
board
members
one
way
or
another
I.
B
Had
a
personal
conversation
a
few
months
ago
with
the
GM
at
Omni
and
I
asked
him
the
question
of:
wouldn't
he
love
to
have.
Wouldn't
he
like
to
have
that
because
he
was
asking
me
questions
about
Hilton
Head
airport
and
he
said
we
don't
have
a
bus
and
we
don't
have
the
funds
to
do
that
or
we
would
do
it
in
a
minute
and
so
I
think
that's
part
of
the
problem.

G
You
David
I
have
a
question
going
back
since
we've
been
talking
about
the
ambassador
program,
I
remember
when
we
first
started
with
the
you
know
in
the
Jets
service
coming
in
and
when
I
first
came
on
board
a
lot
of
questions
about
people
getting
confused
about
Savannah
and
Savannah
Hilton,
Head
and
Hilton
Head.
Are
we
still
are
you
guys
still
seeing
the
same
number
of
people
that
go
to
the
wrong
airport
or
has
it
still
the
same
number.
G
A
General
feeling
is
that
there's
still
confusion
in
the
marketplace
between
us
and
Savannah,
yeah
and
frankly,
I'm
not
sure
how
we
deal
with
they
own
the
name:
Savannah
Hilton,
Head
airport,
we
own
the
name,
Hilton
Head,
Island
airport,
and
perhaps
it's
an
education
issue
and
as
our
traffic
increases
here,
more
and
more
people
become
aware.
Hopefully,
that
issue
will
be
minimized.
