A
B
Right
so
welcome
welcome
into
June
mystery
guys
last
month,
but
welcome
back
as
we
move
into
our
neighborhood
assistance
program
budget,
as
you
all
know,
or
maybe
do
not
know
the
town
of
bluffton's
fiscal
year
in
on
this
ends
this
month.
So
we
are
wrapping
up
our
yearly
spending
and
in
our
memo
as
it
states
as
of
May
25th,
a
total
of
45
homes
have
been
serviced
for
home
repairs
and
that's
for
the
fiscal
year
because
we're
not
picking
up
anything
this
month.
B
B
And
I
will
elaborate
on
that.
Once
we
get
to
our
actual
grab
sheet,
the
remaining
budget
for
the
fiscal
year
is
3579.75
each
repair.
Excuse
me,
each
repair
service
is
outlined
in
the
budget
that
is
attached.
You
will
see
that
the
home
repair
line
has
exceeded
the
initial
budget
for
the
home
repair
service,
but
it
has
not
exceeded
the
overall
neighborhood
assistance
budget
to
date,
13
applications
have
been
approved
by
Lowcountry
Council
of
governments
of
the
13
applications.
Five
will
be
scheduled
for
home
visits
from
myself
and
Building
Safety.
B
B
any
questions
with
that.
With
that
memo,
all
right,
no
hands
up.
Let's
go
to
our
next,
and
this
is
just
our
regular
budget
sheet
that
iconic
that
it
gives
you
guys.
As
I
stated,
the
home
repair
line
started
at
150.
We
had
a
couple
budget
transfers
I
think
we
did
two.
During
this
fiscal
year
invoices
paid
out
28
28,
285
323,
we
went
over
by
20
000
but,
like
I
said,
it
does
not
mess
up
our
total
as
a
whole.
B
So
that's
where
we
have
that
less
than
4
000
still
lingering
any
questions
on
that
sheet.
B
All
right
and
I
did
something
different
for
us
to
kind
of
see.
Our
ups
and
downs
I
spoke
with
councilman
Hamilton.
He
had
a
family
that
needed
some
assistance
and
I
said
well
the
money
that
you
guys
just
gave
me
it's
gone
and
I
heard
it
in
his
voice.
How
so
so,
when
you
guys
did
the
budget
transfer
in
March,
we
had
about
12
homes
waiting
for
those
funds,
so
with
that
you
can
see
in
April
we
shop
back
up.
So
that's
what
happened
to
that
so
I
just
kind
of
broke
it
down
for
you.
B
So
you
can
see
where
everything
went
during
the
fiscal
year
and
we
did
great
I
mean
we.
We
hit
45
homes
and
I.
Think
this
program
is
working.
It's
getting
out,
it's
been
out,
but
it's
more
of
an
open
door
policy
now,
so
we're
touching
a
lot
more
faces
that
didn't
know
about
it.
B
I
think
one
reason
why
we
did
spend
a
lot.
We
had
septic
septic
issues,
so
that
was
400
off
the
top.
So,
with
the
new
contract
that
Town
Council
is
working
on,
we
shouldn't
have
to
dish
out
that
400
coming
up
in
the
next
fiscal
year,
so
those
funds
can
go
towards
something
else.
B
A
Question
but
yeah
our
program
allows
just
even
those
who
were
previous
customers
to
come
back
in
in
the
next
physical
year.
Okay,
that's.
B
Good,
so
we
can
do
each
calendar
year,
they
just
have
to
reapply
okay,
okay,
so
yeah,
it's
it's
a!
It's
been
a
wonderful
thing.
If
no
questions
on
that
I'm
going
to
shoot
to
something
else,
so
we
do
get
a
lot
of
calls
for
home
repairs,
that's
not
in
our
service
area
or
for
things
that
we
do
not
do
for
the
town
of
Bluffton,
such
as
HVAC
certain
electrical
issues.
We
do
not
do
so.
I,
don't
just
tell
a
resident,
no
I
try
to
find
another
backing.
B
So
I've
met
with
deep
Wells
I
met
with
low
country
Council
of
governments.
I've
met
with
Buford
Jasper
EOC,
as
well
as
Bluffton
self-help,
and
these
groups
they
do
home
repairs
as
well.
If
they
don't
do
home
repairs,
the
homeowner
can
go
out,
get
an
estimate.
They
can
apply
for
assistance
through
these
different
agencies.
So
for
us,
if
we
don't
know-
or
we
can't
touch
it
I'd,
let
the
resident
know
I'll
help.
You
send
you
a
different
direction.
So
we've
been
getting
a
lot
of
calls.
B
We
had
a
call
from
Baywood,
I,
didn't
even
know,
Baywood
wasn't
in
the
town
of
Bluffton,
so
I
couldn't
touch
it,
but
I
did
send
them
to
someone
else,
and
Baywood
is
right
off
of
simmonsville.
So
it's
different
calls
that
come
in
like
that.
We
get
calls
from
Jasper
County.
We
get
calls
from
Hardeeville
the
pritchardville
area,
but
that's
not
us.
So
just
so,
they
won't
say,
you
know,
drop
the
ball.
We
can't
help
you,
you
know,
do
some
research
and
send
them
someplace
else.
B
So
these
agencies
have
been
a
big
help
for
us
to
get
work
done
for
those
I
put
the
fire
department
on
there,
because
I
met
with
Tony
sheriff
and
Tony
here,
Tony
Terry
sheriff
and
Stephen
Combs
and
I
am
going
to
start
working
with
them
for
smoke
detectors
when
Richard
and
myself
go
out.
Richard
is
one
of
the
build
inspectors
when
we
go
out.
His
first
thing
is
to
see
if
the
home
has
a
working
smoke
detector
he
hears
for
the
beep
and
or
see
if
it's
an
out-of-date
smoke
detector.
B
So
the
town
of
bluff
didn't
work
with
the
fire
department
before
with
red
cross,
which
is
about
10
years
ago
and
did
a
smoke
detector
blitz.
So
we're
working
to
do
that
again,
because
that'll
keep
us
from
paying
contractors
to
do
smoke,
detectors
and
that'll
save
us
some
funds,
so
the
Bluffton
fire
department
and
the
town
of
Bluffton
is
working
on
working
with
the
Red
Cross
to
do
kind
of
a
walk
through
knock
on
doors.
B
Let
us
see
if
you
need
a
smoke
detector
now
before
we
get
that
going
when
Red
Cross
hasn't
reached
back
out
to
us,
but
before
we
get
that
going
when
I
do
do
the
home
visits
I
send
a
name
and
address
to
the
Bluffton
fire
department,
so
they
can
reach
out
and
say:
hey
I
got
your
name
for
town
of
Bluffton.
Can
we
come
in
and
make
sure
your
smoke
detector
is
up
today,
so
we're
just
trying
to
think
I'm.
D
B
And
I
put
in
your
packet,
I
spoke
with
Heather
and
there
is
some
a
few
Flyers
that
the
Bluffton
fire
department
has
given
me.
So,
when
I
pass
out
our
application,
I'm,
not
attaching
it
to
to
our
application,
but
I
am
giving
them
some
flyers
on
smoke,
detector
safety
as
well,
so
there
was
one
with
lithium
batteries.
B
It
was
a
two-page,
so
I
didn't
include
it
in
there,
but
there
is
some
precautions
about
lithium
batteries,
and
things
like
that,
so
we
are
just
trying
to
like
you
said:
keep
them
safe
and
change
out
from
Old
School
to
new
school,
so
they
don't
have
to
switch
out
so
often
so
I'll
be
giving
the
residence
information
about
smoke,
detectors
and
fire
plans
and
just
making
sure
they
have
an
idea.
You
know
God
forbid.
If
something
does
happen,
this
is
what
we
need
to
do.
A
B
It
they
can,
if
it
needs
to
be
replaced,
the
fire
department
will
replace
it
if
it
needs
to
be
changed
out.
You
know,
they'll
do
all
that,
so
there's
a
form
from
Red
Cross.
When
Red
Cross
comes
out,
there's
a
certain
statistics
that
Red
Cross
has
to
keep
a
form
of,
so
they
will
fill
that
out.
The
homeowner
will
fill
that
out.
B
Fire
department
will
either
give
them
a
new
one
say
if
it's
an
old
mobile
home
fire
department
can't
do
it
right
on
spot,
but
they'll
order
what
they
need
and
go
back
and
replace
it
for
them.
Did
that
answer?
Yes,
okay!
So
yes,
we're
not
just
going
in
take
this
down
because
it
looks
old
but
they're
just
going
to
make
sure
that
the
wiring
and
everything
is
good
before
they
just
put
something
up
and
just
leave
it
for
the
home
order.
Pulling.
B
B
E
I
just
want
to
say:
congratulations
to
you,
you
are
doing
an
outstanding
job.
This
is
above
and
beyond
just
thinking
out
of
the
box
and
just
looking
at
at
the
numbers,
all
together,
the
number
of
homes
that
we've
assisted
and
I
know
you've
just
been
at
the
Forefront
of
all
of
that.
So
I
think
we
want.
B
I
went
to
a
to
a
conference
in
March
and
I
apologize.
I
haven't
reported
on
that
yet,
but
something
that
caught
my
my
attention
at
that
conference.
We
don't
see
homelessness
on
the
Forefront
here
in
the
town
of
Bluffton.
We
I
know
there's
some,
but
we
don't,
you
know,
see
it
eye
to
eye,
but
I
did
give
you
guys
just
a
flyer
to
kind
of
look
at
and
read
over
and
what
brings
on
homelessness.
B
We
know
that
rates
of
rentals
and
everything
is
just
going
outrageously
high
and
some
of
it
can
deal
with
health
issues
and
different
things:
mind
issues,
mental
illness
and
all
that
kind
of
good
stuff.
So
I
just
put
that
in
there
you
guys
get
bored
or
need
some
reading
this
afternoon,
this
kind
of
read
over
and
just
highlight
some
stuff,
if
you
guys
have
any
questions
or
need
more
information
on
that.
Just
reach
out
to
me,
because
I
have
a
whole
packet
of
information
that
I
downloaded
about
that.
B
Also
wanted
to
give
you
guys
some
information
Madison
at
new
Riverside,
the
apartments
that
are
on
170
across
from
the
Publix
going
towards
Savannah.
They
are
doing
Workforce
housing.
They
have
five
for
us
well
10
for
us
five
to
eighty
percent
and
sixty
percent,
so
I
reached
out
to
them
just
to
see
if
anyone
has
been
applying
and
they
have
been,
they
have
seven
that
have
already
been
approved
so
for
the
workforce
housing.
B
So
they
have
five
that
applied
at
the
80
Ami
and
two
that
applied
at
the
60
Ami
and
they
have
all
been
approved
and
they'll
move
in
in
July.
So
just
something
as
small
as
that
with
the
workforce.
Housing
with
the
different
incentives
for
the
different
apartments
is
making
a
difference.
You
know,
I
spoke
to
the
apartment
manager
and
she
said
yeah
they're
coming
in
everyone's
applying
and
it
seems
like
it's
working
so
out
of
the
ten
seven
have
already
been
approved.
B
B
Is
the
one
going
towards
May,
River
High
School
right
on
that
Circle
across
from
Publix?
Is
that
new
side
of
town,
not
Town
Homes,
but
apartments
right
at
this
circle?
Okay,
so
yeah
I
thought
that
was
a
plus
and
I
thought
that
that
was
a
good
thing
that
you
know
people
can
jump
on
that
the
workforce
housing
sets
of
that.
B
A
B
And
some
other
information
I
reached
out
to
Amanda
Denmark
with
Pierce
card
Architects,
just
to
kind
of
give
an
update
and
kind
of
see
what
was
going
on
with
May
River
10
1095
May
River.
So
she
was
able
to
send
me
the
diagram
of
the
buildings.
So
we
have
the
first
building,
which
is
our
second
floor
plan
here
and
I.
Have
it
I.
B
B
B
F
Thank
you
for
allowing
me
to
sit
here.
My
name
is
Benny.
Mullins
I've
lived
here
for
over
20
years,
currently
work
for
Hardware,
Communications,
I'm,
the
community
relations
manager
and
my
children
know:
Bluffton
is
home.
They're
Natives
and
my
heart
is
just
to
be
able
to
hopefully
serve
in
some
capacity
and
that's
the
reason
I'm
here,
I've
put
in
an
application
and
again
my
daughter,
graduated
from
Bluffton
High
School
and
young
professionals
have
a
challenge
of
finding
affordable
housing,
as
well
as
the
Educators
things
of
that
nature.
And
so
that's
that's.
F
G
Hi
everyone
Shannon
Green
Town
of
Bluffton,
employee,
I've,
missed
you
all
I
I've
been
I'm
on
a
project
for
an
implementation.
That's
supposed
to
go,
live
on
July
1st,
so
deeply
involved
in
that.
But
I
just
wanted
to
come
and
say
hello
and
thank
you
again
for
your
support
and
encouragement.
Previous.
G
Sorry,
when
I've
come
here
before
so
and
and
shared
with
you,
my
struggle
for
finding
affordable
housing,
a
lot
has
changed
in
the
last
couple
months.
I
am
safely
securely
comfortably
in
my
existing
rental.
That
I
was
in
for
a
year
prior
to
April
and
am
working
with
one
of
your
committee
members
on,
hopefully
finding
a
home
to
buy,
which
is
life-changing
and
exhilarating
and
scary
and
everything
everything
but
I
just
wanted
to.
Thank
you
all
for
your
presence
for
your
purpose,
and
it's
important
and
I
appreciate
it.
G
So,
oh
and
I
also
scored
somewhat
something
of
a
win.
The
blue
stone
who
did
not
treat
my
application
very
well
and
I,
did
not
get
a
rental
with
them.
G
And
that's
what
I
want
to
represent
is
everyone.
That's
like
me,
that's
yeah
that
wants
to
live
in
the
town
of
Bluffton
work
in
the
town
of
Bluffton
and
be
successful
at
that.
So
I
appreciate
it.
G
Rental
is
still
in
Hardeeville
I'm
on
Argent
Boulevard
I
was
able
to
negotiate
with
encouragement,
encouragement
from
Miss
Staples,
a
five
percent
increase
as
opposed
to
a
10
increase,
and
they
also
gave
me
less
than
a
one-year
lease
so
that
I,
if,
if
and
when
I'm
able
to
buy
a
home
I
have
less
of
a
term
that
I
might
have
to
back.
Out
of
so
that
was
very,
very.
G
So
in
less
than
six
months
it's
gone
up,
705
dollars,
so
so
I
feel
I
feel
lucky
that
I
was
able
to
keep
the
roof
over
my
head
and
and
be
comfortable.
What.
G
G
C
B
B
Housing
Trends
report
for
spring
2023
and
I
just
kind
of
went
through
and
highlighted
some
different
things,
but
I
think
you
guys
will
probably
look
at
it
much
difference
than
I
do
but
I'll
send
it
to
you
in
an
email
link
as
well,
but
it
has
some
interesting
a
lot
of
interesting
facts
in
here.
As
you
can
see,
I
highlighted
it
just
to
kind
of
keep
myself
up
to
date.
What
was
going
on
so
again
some
boring
reading.
B
E
A
B
Yes,
sir,
and
I
will
not
be
here
next
month,
I'm
going
to
pass
the
torture
over
to
Miss,
Charlotte
and
I
will
see
you
guys
in
August
and.
