wanted
to
come
today
to
say
continue.
The
work
you've
been
doing
as
far
as
the
task
force
is
concerned,
and
we
would
encourage
you
to
go
back
and
look
at
those
task
force
recommendation
that
you've
made
and
let's
make
sure
that
we're
doing
what
we
can
to
move
most
of
them
forward.

a
lot
of
recommendations
have
been
made
as
far
as
issues
that
address
our
community
and
for
the
good
of
the
island,
and
some
of
those
recommendations
are
still
lingering,
and
we
would
suggest
that
you
continue
to
work
on
them.
What
other
issue
I'd
like
to
bring
forward,
and
that
is
the
native
cemeteries.

gala
cemeteries
I
know
that
we
have
done
some
initial
work
on
identifying
and
finding
the
boundaries
Etc
on
them,
but
I
would
strongly
recommend
that
we
do
signage
on
on
historic
places
on
the
island
so
that
we
don't
lose
focus
of
the
history
and
the
importance
of
those
sacred
grounds
that
are
still
in
exist
in
sale.
So,

that
you
all
have
given
the
women
a
day

certainly

have
some
there's

airports,

we've

working
with
the
town
as
far
as
quantifying
and
consolidating
that
effort
to
make
sure

the
boundaries

who
is
responsible

each
cemetery

defined

recognized

town
manager
has
done
a
good
job
as
far
as
bringing
some
things
forward.
As
far
as
that
consideration
is
concerned,
but
I
just
don't
want
us
to
allow
it
to
drop
through
the
cracks,
because
sometimes
it

able

force
system
and

administrative
preservation,

Perry,
who
has
come
on
board
and
that's
really
hit
the
ground
running,
and
so
we're
excited
about
the
work
that
she
is
taking
on
and
we're
also
understanding
that
she
is
still
you
know,
kind
of
new
to
the
process,
and
so
we
show
some
patience
but

in
one
of
our
meetings.

we
wondered
if
that
would
be
some
sort
of
Gap
or
we
would
drop
in
the
efforts
that
we
were
making.
Staff
assured
me
that
that
was
not
the
case
that
we
did
continue
to
carry
on
and
to
work
until

filled

position

again,
I'm
glad
that
Miss
Perry
is
here
now

she's
our
Point

District
planning
update
that
would
be
Missy,
Lewis
no
longer
known
as
Plan

I'm
here
to
talk
about
District
planning
last
month,
I
talked
to
you
that
this
was
the
replacement
of
the
agenda
item,
formerly
known
as
historic,
neighborhood
overlay
and
and
really
we're
still
working
on
overall
program
development.
For
that
what's
transpired,
since
the
last
meeting
was
that
we
went
to
the
public
planning
committee
last
month
to
get
some
direction
on
the
program
area.

So
what
we
discussed
with
the
public
planning
committee
was
a
broad
overview
of
how
we
see
the
George
framework
and
districts
planning
project
moving
forward
and
we
plan
to
go
back
to
the
public
planning
committee
in
in
April
and
chair
some
more
program,
development
information
and
again
see
correction
on
that
effort.
But
overall
and
briefly,
as
I
had
identified
or
talked
about
the
project
with
you
is
that
where
we
left
off,
of
course,
was
the
implementation
of
the
mid
Island
District
plan
November
and
that's
one
of
the
first
districts
that
we've
done.

We'll
do
that
as
well
through
that
growth
framework
map
and
then
pull
it
down
further.
Where
we're
getting
at
the
district
planning
level
and
from
there,
we
will
have
districts
identified
for
all
of
the
other
areas
around
the
island
that
aren't
in
a
planned
unit
development,
and
we
will
go
through
a
public
engagement
process
and
similar
to
what
we
did
with
stakeholders
and
others
through
the
mid
Island
District
process
and
really
hear
from
everyone.

Wide
on
and
uses
and
development
patterns-
and
you
know,
try
to
make
sure
that
that
Vision,
that
we're
painting
for
the
future
in
our
plan
that
we
can
realize
that
visually
as
we
get
down
to
the
district
planning
level
and
then,
as
we
work
through
all
of
the
district
planning.
We
also
have
a
multi-faced
approach
to
amend
Our
Land
Management
ordinance,
which
really
speaks
to
implementation
of
all
of
this
District
planning
activity,
and
so
that
LMO
amendments
phasing
project
will
include
both
some
Elmo
amendments.

on

So
you
will
hear
my
voice
for
far
too

but
please

for
the
March
report.
So
we
have
so
this
reporting
period
is.

It
has
been
from
October
21st
through
February
2023,
so
I
just
want
to
note
that
and
I'm
going
to
be
working
on
ways
to
you
know
present
this
information
to
you
all
in
a
way.
That's
that's
meaningful
that
you
can
capture
what
we've
been
doing
and
what
we've
been
seeing.
But
for
now
this
is
How.
We'll
do
that
so
of
the
55
total
Design
Studio
requests
that
we've
had
we've
had
four
new
requests
since
the
February
meeting.

So
I'll
give
you
what
I
know
and
then
the
resolution
to
that
process,
so
a
family
had
come
to
us
from
the
squire
poke
neighborhood.
There
was
a
new,
a
new
person
living
in
on
a
parcel
related
to
this
family's
land
and
their
the
issue
at
hand
was
getting
the
improving
the
access
so
that
this
new
family
could
move
in,
and
one
of
the
issues
that
was
kind
of
that
had
been
ongoing
is
is
figuring
out
how
to
improve
that
access
and
get
everyone's
agreement.
Who
was
also
on
this
on
this
dirt
road?

Basically,
and
so
the
process
had
been
prolonged
a
little
bit
because
of
you
know
getting
agreement
from
the
families
about
whose
responsibility
it
was
and
who
it
would
affect,
and
all
of
those
things.
So
what
we
were
able
to
do
when
that
meeting
came
back
to
us
for
another
opportunity
to
talk
about
what
was
needed-
and
this
is
you
know,
improving
access
based
based
on
fire
and
safety
regulations.

When
we
got
back
to
that
meeting,
we
were
able
to
do
a
site
visit.
So
when
we
met
with
the
family,
when
I
first
got
here,
they
wanted
to
meet
the
neighbors.
They
actually
just
hadn't,
met
their
neighbors
and
they
weren't
comfortable
making
a
decision
without
having
known
the
people
who
were
moving
in
and
utilized
the
design
studio,
video
process
as
a
way
to
meet
their
neighbors
and
as
a
way
for
the
town
to
help
kind
of
facilitate
that
discussion
in
gaining
agreement
with
each
other
as
well
as
meeting
each
other.

You
know
direct
communication
with
these
with
all
the
parties
that
were
involved
on
this
off
of
this
dirt
road
and
kind
of
just
lay
out
the
options
to
them
very
clearly
and
have
like
again
having
you
know
the
the
families
that
were
already
there,
as
well
as
the
new
family
that
was
moving
in
you
know,
bringing
all
of
them
together
and
facilitating
that
sort
of
conversation,
and
so
we
were
able
to
let
them
know.
You
know
what
the
options
were.

The
family
that
was
moving
in
was
responsible
for
taking
care
of
any
of
the
access
improvements
that
were
required
for
their
occupation
and
just
had
to
get
agreement
from
the
other
families
on
the
lot.
So
we
were
able
to
facilitate
a
conversation
and
move
that
forward
in
the
new
family.
Who's
moving
in
has
already
started.
Improving
the
access
there,
resolving
this
request
and
buyers
doing
their
inspection
right
now.

You
know,
good
relationships
in
actually
establishing
agreement
and
I
bring
that
up
too,
because
being
that
I
am
new,
I've
been
kind
of
sitting
back
and
observing
a
little
bit
more
on
these
requests,
and-
and
we
find
that
agreement
is
one
of
the
things
that
really
holds
up
people
being
able
to
move
through
these
processes,
especially
with
access,
and
so
it's
been
I've
been.
You
know,
Mr
Simmons
has
been
at
some
of
those
and
has
has
been
able
to
be.
You
know
somewhat
of
a
facilitator.

We've
had
other
people
from
the
community
that
were,
you
know,
who
are
a
neutral
Party,
come
in
and
help
facilitate
these
conversations
and
really
being
able
to
take
a
step
back
and
say
here
are
the
options,
and
you
know
talk
kind
of
candidly
about
hey.
This
is
what's
possible
and
this
is
what's
not
possible,
and
this
is
how
you,
you
know,
get
to
move
forward.

So
that's
some
of
the
some
of
what
I've
observed
so
far
being
important
in
these
processes
and
what
I've
actually
had
a
chance
to
to
be
a
part
of,
and
so
we'll
keep
bringing
those
sort
of
things
to
your
attention
and,
if
there's
anything
else
that
you're
looking
for.
As
far
as
you
know,
bringing
some
more
flavor
to
these
Design
Studio
reports
be
happy
to
take
any
feedback
on
that.

learning
how
they
do
that
process
and
we
have
a
referral
process
that
we
do
with
them.
So
we
also
see
those
sorts
of
issues
coming
up
in
the
Design
Studios
and
helping
families
to
be
able
to
resolve.
That
is
really
big.
The
heavy
lift
and
folks
often
don't
know
exactly
where
to
turn,
because
it
is
a
long
process,
so
we're
helping
to
steer
people
in
the
right
direction
with
that
as
well.
So
we've
seen
a
couple
of
those
come
come
across
as
well.
During
this
this
last
reporting
period.

the
home
safety
preparing,
okay,
those
are
pretty
much
together
since
one
staff
member
works
on
both
of
those
projects,
and
so
just
to
give
you
an
update
on
some
additional
movement.
We've
had
on
that
program
again
reporting

July
22nd
through
February
2023.,
as
of
February
24th,
which
is
when
I
received
the
last
update.
We've
had
five
new
applications
to
the
home
safety
and
repair
program.

the
last

Since
the
February
meetings,
we've
had
five
new
applications
of
those
five
new
applications.
All
five
have
actually
been
approved
to
move
on
to
the
next
step
there
for
the
sewer
connection
program,
we've
had
one
new
application
and
that
one
also
has
been
approved
to
live
on
to
receive
an
estimate
to
to
get
service.
So
we're
making
lots
of
progress
on
that
program.

handle
most
of
the
design
review
board
activity,

we

the
development

overview
of
what
I've

working
on
since
starting
Beyond.
Some
of
these
reporting-
that's
going

I
just
wanted

you
know

I

actively
out
meeting
with
the
community
and
getting
to
know
people
and
organizations
in
in
the
community,
and
we'll
continue
to
do
that.

was
brought
to
my
attention
that
some
of
the
and
I
actually
noticed
this
myself
and
was
actually
going
through
this,
but
lawana
gave
me
a
call,
and
let
me
know
that
we'd
like
to
put
in
a
maintenance
request
for
the
signs,
the
historic
neighborhood
signs.
So
we've
done
that
we
have
a
request
right
now,
with
our
facilities
Department
to
maintain
refresh
clean
those
up,
they'll
be
doing
some
power
washing
and
you
know,
cleaning
away
debris.

there's
any
repairs
needed
they'll
be
working
on
that
as
well.
So
I
did
want
to
let
you
know
about
that,
and
especially
you
know,
to
let
folks
know
in
the
community
that
they
see
people
out
from
the
town
at
the
signs
that
we
did
put
that
request
and
it's
just
for
General
refreshing
to
make
sure
that
the
signs
are
still
looking
good
and
vibrant
yeah

got
to
attend
these,
so
it's
March,
so
last
month
was
Black.

help

work
on
a
cemetery's
assessment,
including
cemeteries
that
were
within
the
planned
unit.

with
that
original
assessment,
we
were
going
to
incorporate

plan

sites
and
we're
going
to
fold
that
into
our
Landmark
protection
program
that
we
already
have
identified
in
the
Strategic
action
plan,
of
which
Christiana
will
be
the
program
manager
for
and
that
it
program
is
scheduled
to
start
in
Spring
of
2024..

to
the
task
force.

know
that
we
did
kind
of
agree
on
what
the
priorities
would
be
as
far
as
continuing
the
implementation
of
the
Galaxy
cultural
preservation
report,
and
so
there
are

couple
of
programs
that
we
read
on
last
meeting
and
Mr
Campbell
brought
this
to
my
attention.
It's
like.

are
a
little
bit,
but
we
really
wanted
to
get
some
dialogue
and
some
feedback
from
you
all
on
what

in
those
programs

you

representatives

the
community,
about
put
putting
these
programs

action

what
it

look
like

community's
standpoint.

think
was
something
that
was
initiated
by
staff,
the
other
ones.
That
I
can
remember
off
the
top
of
my
head
that
we're
looking
at
we're
going
to
go
back
and
look
at
the
where
we
are
with
family
compound
of
those
other
things
related
to
how
people
are
using
their
properties.

also,
you
know,
coordinating
with
other
entities
to
ensure
that
these
are
you
know,
being
fully
fleshed
out
and
are
fully
implemented
and
included
in
our
normal
work
program.
So
there's
a
number
of
items
that
are
came
out

report

are
now
a
part
of
our
part
of
my
work
program,
for
example,
and
so
figuring
out
how
we,
actually
you
know,
present
that
information
to
you
all.

you

person
to
kind
of

thing

I
wanted
to
just
bring

your
attention

everyone

map

existing
dollar
resources?

town
doesn't
necessarily
need
to
be
sharing
that
information
from
our
mouths,

that
we
should

sending
people

directly
to
the
source
to
receive
that
information

people.

organizations

have
been
identified
in
the
recommendations
as
potential
Partners
to
work
with
those
particular
items,
as
I
said
several
months
ago,
that
some
of
that
information
may
change,
and
certainly
we
recognize
that
there
are
other
organizations
out
there
that
may
be
coming
aboard
and
making
themselves
available
for
us
to
access
as
a
resource
as
well.
So
some
of
those
recommendations
when
we
first
did
that
were
identified
then,
and
that
certainly
might
change
it
into
your
