street

they
look

release

feral
cats

cats

in

trapped

intersection

patch

down

one
of
my
often
used
streets.
Pivito
got
a
nice
long
patch
on
on
the
on
the
north
side
of
the
street.

got
a
little
publicity
on
TV
a
week
ago,
due
to
changing
the
zoning
on
a
on
acreage
on
major
to
Malta
family
from
single
family.
The
connecting
Street
Burbank
is
abused,
with
trash
being
dumped
on

east
side
of
the
street
weekly.
The
city
needs
to
designate
the
street
an
official,
dumb
Zone.

mayor
council,
in
just
over
a
week,
I'm
going
to
be
heading
off
to
college
as
I
leave
Beaumont
I'm
going
to
bring
with
me
a
very
valuable
set
of
lessons
on
the
state
of
the
city.
From
the
vantage
point
of
a
young
person,
my
Odyssey
with
BISD
was
chronicled
on
the
Beaumont
Enterprise,
and
my
recent
opinion
piece
has
been
their
website's
most
popular
article
since
its
release.

I
will
reiterate
here
the
central
point
that
I
made
in
it
come
on
as
a
city
is
doomed
to
failure,
unless
we
as
a
community,
take
action
to
rectify
the
rampant
corruption
and
incompetence
that
runs
BISD
for
too
long,
the
city
has
been
able
to
hide
behind
the
different
jurisdiction
it
has
and
the
governmental
independence
of
Beaumont
ISD
from
the
city
while
legally.
This
is
completely
true.
It
is
functionally
useless.

It
is
your
responsibility
and
ours,
as
Community
leaders,
to
pressure
and
guide
BISD
along
the
path
to
Redemption,
to
bring
about
a
BISD
that
doesn't
launch
witch
hunts
against
students
like
me
that
speak
out
a
BISD
that
has
more
than
26
percent
of
students
passing
State
exams,
a
bisc
that
no
longer
makes
headlines
for
deadly
violence
in
its
schools
in
a
bisc
that
doesn't
persecute
dissent.
This
is
the
bisc
that
the
entire
city
deserves,
and
if
we
do
not
have
safe
quality
schools,
our
community
will
decline
into
nothingness,
as
I
stated
in
the
Beaumont
Enterprise.

The
seeds
for
Success
are
there,
but
the
district
must
stop
watering
them
with
battery
acid.
The
current
state
of
education
in
the
city
is
seriously
stunting
its
growth
I
implore
you
to
work,
smarter,
not
harder.
Spending
Millions
redeveloping
downtown
into
the
vibrant
Hub
it
can
be,
is
a
definite
priority,
but
is
ultimately
absolutely
useless.
If
no
one
will
move
here
to
inhabit
it
because
they
cannot
put
their
kids
in
school.

really
phenomenal
program
and
a
true
gift
to
the
city
and
I'm
grateful
for
my
ability
to
have
participated
in
it
as
I
go
off
to
Notre
Dame
next
week,
I'm
extremely
grateful
for
the
friends
and
Partnerships
that
I've
gained
here,
especially
amongst
you,
I,
am
confident
that
the
city
government
is
in
very
good
hands
and
that,
with
your
determination
and
concentrated
efforts,
you
will
be
able
to
write
the
ship
here

ensure
a
productive
future

Beaumont
despite

educational
dilemma

starts

world

Beaumont,
Texas

Beaumont
deserve
it,
because

72
and
73
the
same
thing
happened
to
William
Boyd
Brown.
He
was
beaten
and
he
was
just
done
bad
by
the
Beaumont
Police
Department.
There
are
some
good
officers
too,
but
there
are
some
bad
ones.
So
I'm
telling
you
mayor,
y'all
can
cover
this
up,
try
to
sweep
it
under
the
work,

rug.

West

saw
him
briefly
one
Sunday

requested
that
the
videos
from
College
Street

my
deceased
Uncle
Herbert
Wilson,
was
hit
by
a
drunk
driver
and
left
deceased
on
the
road.
I
am
requesting
cleanup,
because
cars
are
presently
running
over
his
bodily
fluids
on
The
Daily,
and
it's
very
disturbing
to
me
and
my
family
interesting
enough.

Today,
I
went
to
get
a
police
report
to
assist
my
little
cousin,
that's
his
son,
my
first
cousin
and
mysteriously,
a
black
tenant
vehicle
accelerated
from
the
Civic
Center
as
soon
as
I
stepped
out
into

crosswalk
legally
as
a
pedestrian
with
this
big,
beautiful,
Angela,
Davis,
afro
and
bright,
yellow
jumpsuit
and
tried
to
hit
me.
But
God
is
amazing
because
I
stay
ready.
That
was
very
disturbing
to
me,
because,
when
I
tried
to
open
up
a
homeless
shelter
in
2021,
my
rental
car
was
riddled
with
eight
bullets
hitting
my
passenger.

a
homeless
client
who
was
partially
paralyzed
temporarily
so
today,
I
come
in
peace.
I
do
not
want
anyone's
job
I
presented
you

the
Pharaoh

the
eighth
grade.
Regular
teacher

had

students
and
I
was
teaching
in
English.
You
call
it
Mexican,
you

Spanish.
We
call

demonstrated
high
growth
and
proficiency

bringing

committee

regulates
our
energy,

our
lawyers
went
through

negotiated
that
only
99.6
million
of
that

recovered

currently

impact
on

rate

Citizens

did
not
request
the
fuel
charge
in
that
application.
So
this
settlement
only
allows
them
to
carry
over
99.6
million
dollars
with
no
rate
increase
to
our
citizens.
We
are
making
a
request
that
that

adopted
based
on
the
fact
of
risk
of
litigation
and
the
cost
that
litigation
would
incur.

essentially,
this
just
allows
them
to
preserve
that
they
get
to
carry
that
money
forward.
If
they
want
to
recap
or
do
that
in
the
future,
they
can
it's
essentially.
If
they
leave
the
money
on
the
table,
then
they
they
lose
the
money.
So
when
they're
doing
their
record
Reconciliation
Report,
they
found
that
they
had
undercharged
for
a
certain
amount,
and
so
they
wanted
to
be
able
to
calculate
that.

this
isn't
just
something
that's
been
going
on,

they
submitted
their
report

the
next
time
we

best
option

the
city

based
on
the
cost

agree
to
come

seem

a
lot

money,
but
they
did
agree
to
come
down
on
their
amount
that
they're
carried
forward,

when
they're
negotiating

considering
rate
increases

can't
use
it.

guarantee
that
there
will

no
utility
costs
increase
to
customers
this
year,
but,
like
I

there,
they

budget

we

so
they're
able
to
consider
potential
costs
and
shortfalls
in
their
budget
and
bring
forward
counts.
This
particular
Council
has
seen
several
just
in
this
year:
applications
by
energy
from
the
Utilities
Commission,
in
which
case
we've
negotiated
those
down
and
settle
those
as
well.

this
is
kind

an
odd
situation,
because
the
boxes
is
so
elevated
at
that
point-
that
the
top
of
the
box
is
actually
the
base
of
the
asphalt
road
that
there's
really
nothing
too
much
between

road

box.

that
high
at
that
place.
So
our
storm
line,
our
18
inch
storm
line
coming
in
failed
and
then
it's
caused
failure
of
of
the
box
of
of
the
actual.

They've
got
to
they've
got
to
re
like
prop
up

the
Box.
According
to
the
structural
engineers
recommendations,
because
that
sidewall
is
collapsing,
then
they
have
to
pour
the
top
back
on
the
box
and
then
they

restore

pavement
on
top

the
asphalt
pavement

drainage
box.

They're

not
asking
for
it

asking

and
so,
if
you
remember,
we
went
and
we
performed
storm
drain
inspection
down
the
length
of
Fourth
Street
prior
to
this
project,
kicking
off
and
the
results
of
that
storm
drain
inspection.
We
found
a
number
of
of
problems
where
most
commonly
other
pipes
are
conflicting
with
that
storm
drain.
Some
of
them
are
our
pipes.
In
one
case,
it's
it's
some
pipeline
pipes.
So
this
what
we've
done
after
that
is
create
the
plans
to
fix
all
of
those
blockages
to
the
storm
drain
system
down.

There's

number
of
defects,
but
the
most
common
one
has
been
that
when
a
water
line
was
put
in
or
a
sewer
line,
or
in
one
case
there
was
a
pipeline.
Those
lines
are
going
through
that
storm
drain
and
and
impeding
the
the
storm
flow.
Now
in
some
cases,
maybe
they
made
an
attempt
at
a
conflict
box
which
is
basically
a
larger
expansion
of
the
storm
drain,
but
it
wasn't.
It
wasn't
sufficient
to
prevent
blockage
of
that.

service

understand
where
HR
is,

does
a
city
manager
that
reports
to
all

constituents

assistance,
take
on
another

our

on
behalf

release
the
audio
and
video
recordings
pertaining
to
the
initial
stop
arrest
and
transport
of
Mr
Christopher
Shaw.
The
incident
in
question
has
raised
significant
public
interest
and
the
citizens
of
Beaumont
have
a
legitimate
and
rightful
desire
to
understand
the
events
that
took
place
for
days.

the
