The
mayor
gets
many
requests
to
put
somebody's
name
on
all
kinds
of
city
property,
whether
it
be
a
square,
a
building
event
or
even
a
playground,
a
basketball
court-
and
it
takes
this
very
seriously.
It's
city
property,
it's
part
of
his
legacy
and
he
has
to
make
sure
that
person
is
honorable
and
worthy
of
having
their
name
or
a
piece
of
property.
Certainly
we
know
the
lamonica
family
is
worthy
of
that
now.
I
want.
B
To
thank
Tracy
in
the
entire
lamonica
family
for
allowing
us
to
be
here
today
to
do
this.
It's
an
honor
to
dedicate
these
courts
dad
to
follow
the
true
champion
and
a
passion
of
public
servant.
Paul
work,
the
water
and
sewer
for
over
30
years,
and
certainly
a
dedicated
member
of
the
community
here
in
Southie
in
Boston
I.
C
Asked
Jack
Colin,
why?
Why
did
you
advocate
this
court
to
be
named?
After
my
father?
Jack
simply
said
he
was
an
instrumental
part
of
my
life
instrumental
what
an
amazing
words
used
to
describe
my
father.
He
played
an
instrumental
role
in
so
many
aspects
of
life.
He
touched
the
lives
of
so
many
and
even
in
his
absence,
he
continues
to
do
so
today.
