Description
Our coverage of the 2019 BNBL Championships continues with the Girls 15 & Under Finals, when Rivals faces the defending champion Showstoppers at UMass Boston's Clark Athletic Center.
A
Hello
Boston
welcome
to
the
Clark
Athletic
Center
at
UMass
Boston
for
the
girls
15
and
under
bmbl
championship
pass
tonight.
Team
rivals
will
be
taking
on
the
showstoppers
hello,
everybody,
I'm
pat
flower
tea,
gentlemen,
my
partner
as
always
Allen
platen
Allen.
We
just
had
the
girls
13
and
under
bmbl
championship.
Now
we
got
the
girls
15
in
under
championship
game.
Once
again,
the
showstoppers
are
in
it.
Once
again.
A
B
The
rivals
says
they
have
some
quickness.
Some
size
saw
some
experienced
players
and,
as
we
listen,
we
jump
from
the
13
year
old
game
for
the
15
wheel
game.
You
obviously
more
experienced
players
on
both
sides
of
social
being
mad
at
the
showstoppers
system
and
their
athletes
against
the
rivals
who
pretty
much
I
talked
to
a
couple
of
the
girls
from
the
rivals.
They
not
all
that
familiar
with
each
other
in
terms
of
often
during
the
school
year,
but
they
had
a
decent
seat
summer.
B
A
A
As
well
show
stoppers,
as
we've
said
before,
have
won
a
ton
of
these
championships
two
years
ago.
They
actually
lost
to
the
shoulder
houses
in
the
finals.
Championship
teams,
certainly
not
unbeatable.
This
should
be
a
very
good
matchup
here
in
the
girls
15
under
division.
Now
for
more
on
this
game,
gonna
go
to
our
sideline
reporter
Seth,
our
rensky
is
getting
update
for
a
set.
We
had.
D
D
With
the
showstoppers
they've
already
played
at
the
same
site
as
the
13
and
under
team
that
we
just
saw
with
a
championship,
so
they're
kind
of
used
to
the
same
style,
the
same
tactics,
obviously
the
showstoppers
are
gonna.
Look
to
do
certain
things.
What
other
interesting
note
is
that
the
head
coach
and
assistant
coach
are
very
familiar.
It's
the
husband.
D

G
A
E

E
B
A
A
B
E
A
K
B
B
The
showstoppers
play
they
have
no
problem
with
the
contact
bill
that
they
can
play
with
that
entire
game.
You
know,
being
physical
is
not
a
problem.
I
like
the
fact
that,
with
the
armbrister,
especially
and
actually
Shepard
to
those
two
on
the
red,
the
rival
is
that
clear
leads
to
excellent
rebounder
school
through
challenging
the
backboards
Allen.
A
D
Guys
I
talked
got
to
talk
a
little
bit
to
both
coaches
before
the
game.
Nicole
house,
big
messages,
they're
not
intimidated
by
the
showstoppers,
not
only
they
play
the
13-under
team.
Most
of
our
players
play
pickup
scrimmage
against
that
team,
so
they're
a
little
bit
more
familiar
of
what
to
expect.
On
the
other
side,
Hassan
Fischer
told
his
team.
One
thing:
if
you
don't
hustle,
if
you
don't
run
you're
coming
off
thus
far,
they
haven't
been
able
to
get
as
many
turnovers
as
they
like.
B
B
How
much
a
saw
her
team
made
up
up
court
wide
open
and
when
she
looked
up
to
try
to
pass
it
to
her,
couldn't
gather
the
ball
to
the
extra
step
when
the
rivals
are
not
giving
the
showstoppers
any
chance
to
dance
me,
a
full-court
pressure,
they're
gonna,
get
them
on
the
ball.
Pass
that
forth
good
manly
again.
E
A
A
B
B
Let's
go
by
Shepard
she's
she's
trapped,
the
backdoor
able
to
split
the
defense
may
affect
the
fall.
Had
me
call
she
had
to
tell
lanes
the
basket.
B
I
A
Seven
and
run
that
time
by
the
showstoppers
they're
now
on
top
eleven
to
seven
in
with
602
left
to
go
in
the
first
half
and
all
of
a
sudden.
The
tide
is
turning
here
for
the
showstoppers

B
The
key
to
the
whole
thing
so
far,
defense
that
that
when
they
were
behind,
they
return
the
ball
over
and
not
making
shots.
They
go
good
sequence.
The
defense
forced
some
turnovers
for
the
rivals
and
well
you
know
it.
You're
up
by
four
machine
on
Brister
former
rivals
took
a
couple
of
threes
and
made
once
but
she's
got
to
travel.
Now.
She's
I
was
just
gonna,
say
SHINee's
if
she
comes
down
to
the
post
and
make
it
much
easier
shot
for
her.
We've
seen
her
play
before
she
has
a
lot
of
ability
in
the
lane.

B
A
K
A
At
the
Clark
center
showstoppers
on
top
arrival
17
to
11,
and
it
was
the
rivals
that
came
out
really
well
in
that
first
few
minutes
of
the
first
half
at
a
seven
to
four
lead.
But
as
soon
as
the
showstoppers
had
that
timeout,
they
came
right
back
with
a
real
nice
alecko's
and
11a
no
run
to
get
things
going
again
for
them.
Dave
a
six-point.
B
C
B
A
D
D
I
D
I
Just
not
where
her
I
think
it's
a
whole
team.
I
think
the
whole
team
just
needs
to
pick
it
up
a
little
bit
more
she's,
very
she's,
very
aggressive,
and
we
know
she's
a
lefty
and
she's
one
of
our
stronger
players.
I
need
to
see
Kay
on
a
step
up.
Okay,
so
I
think
that's
important
for
her
to
be
played
a
free,
throw
line
and
poster
coach.
A
B
That
looks
good
just
to
hear
a
coach
admit.
Okay,
we
want
you
his
own,
which
didn't
work
out,
because
he
had
mainly
hitting
too
long
threes
to
go
back
to
man-to-man
and
that
now
you
got
to
be
concerned
about
foul
trouble
because
mainly
is
so
aggressive
with
that
big
body
of
her.
She
can
dribble
the
ball,
she
can
create
contact
and
they
make
it
may
come
down
to
how
that
these
two
officials
call
the
second
half
because
clearly
Shepherd
for
the
rivals
and
manly
for
the
showstoppers.
B
Also
that
the
key
offenses
place
on
the
floor
armbrister,
the
tallest
girl
in
the
game
for
the
rival
inside,
has
not
been
a
whole
lot
in
size.
He
he
did
every
earlier
how
she
does
have
some
rebounds,
but
she's
got
to
be
able
to
get
lower
in
the
post,
and
just
like
the
coach
said
if
her
offensive
players,
the
rivals
are
a
little
more
patient
in
the
half
court.
They
can
get
the
ball
to
on
vs.
wish.
You
can
do
some
work.
That's.
A
B
B
B
B
B
A
E
B
B
B
A
Armbrister
short
with
that
three
guys
for
the
putback
I'm
Brister
for.
B
L
B
The
first
Ronnie
this
kind
of
this
game
is
the
opposite
of
what
we
see
a
lot
a
lot
of
times,
we'll
see
a
shortly,
but
it
seems
like
the
team
is
in
full
control.
That's
what
this
game
is
a
ten-point
game,
but
it
just
seems
to
me
that
the
rivals
are
still
very
much
in
this
game
is
to
forget
to
convert
some
offense.
A

A
C
B
E
A
B
B
D
Thanks
guys,
showstoppers,
holding
on
to
a
comfortable
ten-point
lead-
and
it's
really
been
the
defense
here
in
the
second
half
holding
rivals
to
just
six
points
with
two
of
those
coming
in
the
last
couple
of
possessions,
and
it's
been
not
just
this
half
but
really
the
last
half,
maybe
and
two
thirds
of
the
half
previously
was
a
great
start
for
that
rivals:
team
getting
out
to
a
7-3
lead
and
since
then
they've
been
anemic
on
offense.
Because
of
the
intensity
of
this
defense.
My
talk
to
penny
Grubbs
did
have
some.
B
Talked
to
turned
it
on
here
and
talked
about
that
in
the
fiction
of
the
game
and
we're
gonna
see
the
same
thing
in
the
agent
in
there.
The
game
like
I,
said
they're
frustrating
products,
the
rivals
is
they.
They
actually
have
some
offensive
weapons,
but
they
have
not
been
able
to
take
care
of
the
ball
and
a
half
course
a.
E
B
B
B
B
E
A
B
E
B
A
A
At
the
bmbl
championships
at
UMass,
Boston
showstopper,
takedown
team
rivals
31
to
23
and
boy
did
this
game
flip
after
that
was
first
couple
of
minutes.
Team
rivals
really
looked
good
in
the
opening.
You
know
time
there
and
then
all
of
a
sudden
showstoppers
just
flip
the
switch
went
on
a
run
and
they
never
looked
back.
It's.
B
Interesting
because,
usually
they
call
and
kind
of
defense
like
we
always
talked
about
in
in
any
age,
but
in
this
particular
game
they
show
some
versatility
because
there
they
weren't
getting
anything
out
of
their
full-court
pressure
at
all.
That's
right
cause.
They
were
down
by
a
few
points.
So
what
there's?
A
timeout
called
coming
out
of
the
timeout?
They
went,
1111
Oh
run
and
pretty
much
mean
look
back
at
now.
They
pretty
much
had
control.
It
did
seem
that
the
rivals
they
definitely
gave
the
effort
they
rebounded.
B
Well
that
defended
well,
but
they,
like
you,
said
a
little
in
the
basket
these
from
that's
like
a
six
to
seven
minute
period,
sure
they
couldn't
make
anything
and
that
disallowed
that
10-point
lead.
You
know,
go
from
10
to
8
10
to
7
the
next
type
of
thing,
but
pretty
much
turned
out
to
be
a
comfortable
leader
showstopping.
That's.
A
Right,
certainly,
a
good
effort
here
from
team
rivals,
but
they
came
up
a
little
bit
short
here
against
the
showstoppers,
who
are
the
2019
girls,
EMBL,
15
and
under
champions.
We're
gonna
have
to
break
folks
when
we
come
back,
have
our
game
of
the
week
MVP
and
our
game
winning
coach
right
after
these
words
so
go
away.
F
J
C
H
J
So
there
you
are
shuffling
through
a
stack
of
resumes
and
you
come
to
mind
this.
Is
it
first
impression
my
way
in
but
and
my
resume
show
you
how
I
truly
stand
out
like
that
I
was
studying
going
to
night
school,
while
working
two
jobs
just
to
help
my
parents
pay
for
groceries
or
being
the
first
one
to
always
step
up?
No,
that's
something!
You
just
can't
put
on
paper,
look
beyond
the
resume
and
discover
new
ways
to
develop
great
talent
that
is
dedicated,
hardworking
and
determined.
Like
me,
do
you
want
to.
M
Retire
like
a
champ,
it's
just
like
legendary
basketball,
star
uncle
true
you're,
already
he's
in
the
game.
You've
got
your
dream:
ride,
don't
be
slamming
up
dull.
You
just
gotta,
get
the
boys,
your
tree
vacation
and
your
dream
team,
and
now
you
can
make
a
retirement
just
as
imaginary,
I
keep
with
the
tips.
J
J
L
F
A
Welcome
back
to
the
Clark
Athletic
Center
at
UMass
Boston
at
the
conclusion
of
the
girls
15
and
under
beat
and
BL
championship,
the
showstoppers
took
down
team
rivals
31
to
23
and
probably
no
surprise
on
who
the
MVP
of
this
game
was
saw.
Andrea
manly.
She
really
was
the
one
that
really
took
care
of
that
run
that
she,
the
showstoppers,
had
midway
through
the
first
half
that
really
changed
things
for
this
team,
especially
those
two
big.
Oh.
B
Yes,
she
came
out
of
that
timeout
and
drove
to
the
basket
a
couple
of
times
through
files
made
layups.
Then,
like
you,
said,
step
back
on
the
left
hand
to
the
left
wing
when
the
robbers
make
the
mistake
of
going
to
his
own
in
right,
shot
to
deep
threes
and
before
you
knew
it.
Six
eight-point
10-point.
D
D
K
D
D
Thank
you
so
much
for
your
time.
I
know
you
don't
love
the
interviews,
but
you
love
the
game.
We'll
bring
you
in
coach
coach
a
little
bit
of
slow
start
for
you
guys
you
were,
you
were
down,
the
defense
wasn't
getting
the
turnovers
and
then
that
timeout
early
really
turned
the
game.
What
was
the
message
during
that
timeout?
That
seemed
to
really
put
a
fire
under
your
girls.
M
D
M
D
M
Think
a
lot
when
they
was
making
a
run
when
I
was
going
back
to
back
I
was
getting
kind
of
nervous.
That's
why
I
called
the
timeout
because
the
beginning
of
the
game
we
was
going
back-to-back
and
then
I
shut
it
down,
but
it
was
a
good
game
congrats
to
the
arm
to
the
rivals
for
competing
to
today.
A
good
team
definitely.
D
A
B
Out
with
a
scoring
well
end
up
just
eight
points,
she
was
slowed
down
by
the
show-stopping
defense
on
Drifter
has
seven
so
15
between
those
two
players.
No
one
had
21
points
in
the
game:
rebounds
operas
with
big
11,
rebounds
Shepard
added
six
and
an
assist
on
Briscoe
and
one
and
Howell
had
one
that
bottom
line
assists
that
switch,
showing.
B
E
B
A
buret
she
made
a
layup,
the
other
one,
nice
cut
play,
so
they
cost
was
four
points
to
add
rebounds,
mainly
with
five
panicky
with
four
barrels
had
three
assists
to
go
along
with
manling
Souza
showstoppers
behind
manly,
who
now
moves
up
to
the
next
level
so
by
this
time
next
year,
1516.
So
that's
right,
well,
she'll
be
in
the
the
older
division,
but
tonight
was
her
at
night.
Is
it's
like
you
said
when
they
came
out
of
the
timeout
things
switched
when
we
switch
for
that
get
the
ball
to
Manley.
B
That
was
a
switch.
Yet
to
heaven
derive
was
a
nice
trip.
They
were
a
little
winded
or
whatever
I'm,
not
sure
why
they
went
to
the
bunch
of
the
Manson
meets
of
his
own.
Well,
the
Manson
man
actually
was
in
fact
allow
him
mainly
to
drive
to
the
basket.
So
maybe
they
were
concerned
about
foul
trouble
because
they
did
have
a
short
bench
but
sure
she
was
smart
enough
to
take
it.
B
Take
full
advantage
of
that
short
period
of
his
own
hits
those
two
big
threes
to
give
her
to
her
team,
some
breathing
room,
because
if
you
remember
the
first
three
she
took
and
the
man-to-man
defense
got
blocked,
that's
right,
but
they
went
to
the
zone.
The
rivals
did
in
that
game
for
a
little
more
floor
space,
and
then
she
create
some
floor
space
by
just
stepping
back
the
first
one
was
deep.
The
second
one
was
deeper
and
good
game.
Commanded,
no
question.
