B
C
You
very
much
planning
big
house
rows
and
they'll
do
it
tonight.
Well,
let
me
let
me
just
say:
first
of
all
thank
you
for
being
here
tonight.
Happy
National,
Night
Out,
it's
great
that
we're
going
to
be
in
six
stops
tonight
in
the
city
of
Boston
and
we're
doing
five
tomorrow
night
and
we're
going
around
then
we're
working
taking
the
community
for
their
incredible
work
and
all
of
us
working
together
for
safe
neighborhoods
tonight
is
a
celebration.
It
started
out
as
a
celebration
of
crime
watch
groups
and
police
officers.
C
It's
evolved
into
so
much
more
than
that
and
grateful
for
that.
I.
Ask
everyone
to
keep
in
your
thoughts
and
prayers,
also,
the
victims
in
El
Paso
and
in
Dayton
Ohio.
The
shootings
over
the
weekend
I've
reached
out
to
the
man's
I,
spoke
to
nan
Whaley,
my
friend
the
mayor
of
Dayton
Ohio,
and
she
couldn't
believe
what
was
happening
in
her
city
and
we're
asking
people
just
to
keep
them
in
your
thoughts
and
prayers
and
also
I,
know.
Rossi
is
pretty
politically
active.
C
Every
day
we
hear
these
or
every
few
a
few
months
we
hear
a
shooting,
that's
happen
around
the
country,
but
in
America
every
night.
If
you
take
all
the
homicides
that
happen
in
America
in
America
and
urban
cities,
we
have
a
mass
shooting
every
single
day
in
America.
So
it's
important
for
us
to
do
our
work,
because
if
we
can
get
that
legislation
passed
that
will
indirectly
help
us
and
help
our
police
department
keeping
guns
off
the
streets.
So
I'm
asked
you
to
do
that
tonight.
I
also
want
to
recognize.
C
C
C
C
Thank
you
for
your
great
work
and
the
community
service
officers.
Shootings
are
up
one
from
two
to
one
to
two
this
year.
This
time
same
time
last
year,
homicides
are
the
same
zero.
All
major
crime
is
down
by
6%.
In
this
neighborhood,
your
city
wide
stance,
homicides
down,
22%,
shootings,
up
12%,
we're
working
on
that
Violent
Crimes
down
9%
property
crime
down
that
%
major
crime
down
9%
arrested
down
6%
and
our
Police
Department
is
taking
462
guns
off
the
street
since
January.
C
First,
so
they've
done
some
incredible
work
here
in
the
city
and
I'm
not
gonna,
go
to
much.
We
have
a
lot
of
programs.
We
have
a
hundred
and
seventy-five
programs
this
summer
and
there's
some
other
great
folks
here
from
the
city.
So
all
the
vendors
sitting
here
I
want
to
thank,
give
a
shout
out
to
sheriff
Tompkins.
He
has
a
table
set
up
here,
some
other
folks
but
I.
Thank
you
to
all
the
crime
watch
groups,
the
residents,
the
kids.
This
is
a
great
neighborhood
because
of
you.
C
You
make
sure
that
you
get
from
us,
the
elected
officials
to
do
our
job
and
it's
a
great
neighborhood
you're,
so
involved
that
one
thank
Glenn
I
want
to
thank
all
the
farmers
market,
the
Main
streets,
all
the
programs
that
are
here
because
you
all
together
make
up
an
incredible
neighborhood,
the
city
of
Boston.
Thank
you
very
much.
D
So
here's
what
we're
talking
about
National,
Night
Out,
this
isn't
just
one
night.
You
heard
the
mayor
tout
those
stats.
That
means
all
of
us
are
working
together
to
make
Boston
one
of
the
safest
cities
in
the
United
States
and
what
a
partnership
we
have
all
of
our
elected
officials,
the
DA
working
in
partnership
with
all
of
you
and
guess
what
it's
not
just
words.
Folks,
we
mean
what
we
say
and
what
we
do.
D
We
know
that
you
have
our
backs
and
we
have
your
back
and,
as
I
always
say,
don't
let
the
one
or
two
percent
that
are
setting
negative
lights
on
things
deter
from
what
we're
doing,
because
you're
98%
of
the
folks
that
are
doing
the
right
thing
and
look
at
all
the
children
here
today.
Look
at
how
diversified
this
neighborhood
is
all
God's
children.
This
is
why
we
do
what
we
do
not
only
for
one
night
but
every
day
and
every
night.
So
thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Roslindale
rocks.
Thank
you.
A
You
know
only
half
the
job
is
the
Commissioner.
The
other
half
is
is
holding
people
accountable.
Making
people
realize
that
these
neighborhoods
deserve
to
be
safe
in
our
neighborhoods.
We'll
continue
to
be
safe.
It's
my
great
honor,
please
put
your
hands
together
as
I.
Welcome
to
the
microphone
Suffolk
County
District,
Attorney,
Rachael
Rollins.
E
Sorry
hi
guys,
thank
you.
So
much
Roslindale
was
wonderful
to
me.
Last
year,
Commissioner
Groff
started
his
first
day
here.
I
was
on
this
tour
as
a
candidate,
so
I
want
to
make
sure
that
the
people
that
have
actually
put
their
name
in
the
Hat
to
run
for
office
that
we
give
them
a
round
of
applause.
It's
very
hard
to
step
up
and
try
to
do
that
and
I
want
to
pledge
to
you
that
the
things
I
promised
I
was
gonna,
do
as
a
candidate.
E
We're
still
doing
it's
important
that
we
recognize
a
lot
of
the
people
that
come
in
contact
with
the
criminal
justice
system.
Have
mental
health
issues
or
substance
use
disorder
are
homeless
or
have
other
issues
that
they
are
dealing
with
and
with
respect
to
nonviolent
crimes.
We
are
not
going
to
be
thinking
about
putting
them
in
jail
in
the
first
instance,
but
I
also
recognize,
as
the
mayor
said,
that
we
have
an
increase
in
non-fatal
shootings.
E
A
F
F
Vertically
challenged,
thank
you
all
for
being
here,
I'm,
so
proud
and
honored
to
be
serving
you
all
in
this
community.
It's
a
great
community
and
tonight
I
would
like
to
thank
the
mayor
and
the
commissioner
and
all
the
elected
officials
for
coming
out
and
recognizing
what
a
great
community
we
have
here
tonight.
We
would
like
to
present
the
National
Night
Out
Roslindale
West
Roxbury
2019
crime
watch
group
service
award
to
the
arc
steel
crime
watch
group.
F
Linda
Golar
and
Sabrina
ivory
are
gonna,
be
here
for
accepting
this
award.
However,
Linda
couldn't
quite
make
it
Linda
Golar
is
the
arch
steel,
housing,
property
manager.
She
does
a
great
job
and
stays
in
touch
with
the
community
service
office.
Sabrina.
Ivory
is
a
resident
at
arch,
steel
and
active
in
the
community,
and
Crimewatch
meetings
are
co-prime.
Watch
group,
along
with
our
still
management,
does
a
great
job
to
make
our
still
a
safe
and
friendly
place
to
live.
This
group
works
hard
to
reduce
and
prevent
crime
in
our
community.
F
There
is
an
ongoing
communication
between
the
Boston
Police
Department
are
still
management
and
the
residents
of
are
still
gathering
such
as
the
community.
Flashlights
walks
are
still
family
days.
Hot
dog,
Knights,
potluck
meals
at
the
crime
watch
meetings
and
Archdale
block
bardic
parties
have
all
helped
to
build
relationships
between
the
arc
steel
residents
in
the
Boston
Police
Department
and
to
help
decrease
crime.
F
D
D
G
Would
like
to
say
thank
you
to
e5,
it's
always
of
wonder
working
with
them.
The
sergeant
O'malley,
the
chief
Nicole,
let's
million
even
peoples
from
the
mayor's
office,
so
to
accept
this
here.
War
right
here,
I
really
really
really
really
gladly
appreciate
you
Nicole
and
ePHI.
You
just
don't
know
how
much
we
really
really
love
you
all.
Thank
you.
