Description
At the Omni Boston Hotel at Seaport, Mayor Wu helps celebrate the 47th Annual St. Patrick's Day Luncheon and the South Boston Boys & Girls Club's dedication to uplifting the city's youth for over 80 years.
A
B
Thank
you
and
good
afternoon
everyone
and
welcome
to
the
47th
Annual
St
Patrick's
Day
luncheon.
It's
really
a
pleasure
to
be
here
with
all
of
you
in
this
beautiful
space
as
we
kick
off.
South
Boston's,
St,
Patrick's,
Day
and
evacuation
Day
festivities
this
year
also
marks
the
130th
anniversary
of
the
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
of
Boston.
So
we
certainly
have
a
lot
of
history
and
tradition
to
celebrate
in
this
room
today.
B
My
name
is
Josh
Davis
and
it
is
an
honor
to
introduce
myself
as
the
Edgerly
family,
South,
Boston,
Boys
and
Girls
Club
executive
director
I
am
only
two
months
into
the
role,
but
my
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
in
Boston
experience
spans
nearly
three
decades,
including
my
start
at
the
South
Boston
Club,
as
the
education
director,
although
the
neighborhood
may
have
changed
since
I
started
in
South
Boston
nearly
20
years
ago.
What
remains
consistent
is
the
influence
and
impact
that
the
club
has
on
generations
of
Youth
and
families
in
South
Boston.
B
We
have
a
wonderful
program
here
for
you
today,
including
remarks
from
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
of
Boston
Nicholas
president
and
CEO
Robert
Lewis,
our
elected
officials
and
after
receiving
some
breaking
news.
This
morning
we
also
have
Brielle
Jean
our
South
Boston
Club
Youth
of
the
year.
But,
most
importantly,
we
got
a
notification
this
morning
that
Brielle
Jean
was
selected
as
the
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
of
Boston
Youth
of
the
year.
B
Brielle
is
a
true
Testament
to
the
talent
and
potential
of
every
member
that
walks
through
the
Boys
and
Girls
Club
doors
every
day,
and
we
could
not
be
more
proud
before
I
pass
the
mic
to
our
MC
for
the
afternoon,
I
would
like
to
say
a
thank
you
to
our
event:
co-chair
Jerry
rabikis,
our
local
South,
Boston,
Club,
Advisory
Board,
including
co-chairs
Tim,
Rogers
and
Zach
fletchner
and
last,
but
certainly
not
least.
Please
join
me
in
a
round
of
applause,
as
we
celebrate
the
architect
of
this
amazing
event.
Hattie
McCormick.
B
A
It
is
great
to
be
back
here
hosting
this
great
annual
event
and
all
the
folks
that
are
so
instrumental
behind
the
scenes
and
making
this
happen,
and
all
of
you
for
being
here.
This
is
a
wonderful
tribute
to
not
just
the
Boys
and
Girls
Club
of
South
Boston,
but
to
clubs
all
across
the
city
of
Boston
Massachusetts
into
the
Youth
of
our
of
our
community.
So
these
things
couldn't
happen
without
you
being
here
and
buying
tickets
and
supporting
the
events,
but
also
without
great
sponsors
and
let's
recognize
them.
A
A
So
I
know
he
has
some
special
words.
He
wants
to
deliver
and
would
honored
to
have
him
back
here:
father,
Joe,
White
I.
Actually,
one
of
the
owners
of
The
Comedy
Club
across
the
street
left
Boston
and
father
Joe
White
was
the
very
first
person
to
appear
on
that
stage
10
years
ago
to
provide
dispensation
for
all
the
terrible
jokes
that
we
told
on
it.
I
think
we're
going
to
need
a
re-briefing
on
that
one
father,
but
I
always
inspired
his
by
his
words:
father
Joe
White.
A
You
all
know
him.
He
has
helped
change
the
lives
of
thousands
of
people
in
our
city
and
our
state
and
we're
really
honored
to
have
him
here.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
father
Joe
White.
C
C
We
bring
together,
Act.
Actually
South
Boston
has
an
eternal
dispensation
on
Fridays
near
St
Patrick's
day,
thanks
to
a
son
of
South
Boston
Cardinal
Richard
Cushing,
he
gave
dispensation
to
South
Boston
for
corned
beef
on
Fridays
in
lents
he'll
be
dead.
He
was
dead
50
years
in
the
midst
of
the
covid,
and
some
of
that
will
be
Revisited
over
the
next
years,
but
coming
together,
another
son
of
South
Boston
that
was
brought
together.
C
Let's
pray,
let's
pray,
let's
pray
for
Josh
as
he
takes
that
Helm
of
the
mission
of
the
Boys
and
Girls
Club,
the
Edgerly
family
Joshua's
wise
in
thanking
Patty
McCormick
for
all
she
does
and
all
she
does
for
this
day
and
for
that
club.
The
clubhouse
opening
Cushing
was
a
member
of
the
club,
the
clubhouse
back
in
his
day,
but
all
those
who
have
been
members
in
the
past.
C
So
remembering
the
past
past
members
benefactors
staff
and
award
recipients
to
present
to
Brielle
blessings
on
her
and
her
family
and
all
her
Endeavors
for
future
endeavors
and
Outreach
and
accomplishments.
Let's
pray,
let's
pray
for
one
another
for
all
the
good
that
has
happened
through
the
club
and
all
that's
brought
forth
as
we
pray
for
peace
in
our
worlds.
C
Those
particular
areas
of
our
world
for
anyone
most
in
need
just
here
in
this
community
and
beyond,
for
all
we
bring
together
and
ask,
and
today
marks
three
years
of
that
shutdown
of
our
Commonwealth
and
covid.
We
pray
for
all
those
directly
impacted
these
past
few
years
and
all
that's
been
brought
forth
and
today
also
Marks
mobile
betting
and
Cardinal.
Sean
asked
me
to
take
that
on
in
my
addiction.
Recovery
to
reach
out
and
I
reminded
him
when
he
said
father
Joe.
C
A
That
was
great
and
hilarious.
I.
Don't
know
why
you
need
us
for
the
lunch
hi.
As
you
heard
Josh
mentioned,
we
are
so
honored
to
have
it
on.
Amidst
the
2023
Youth
Of
The
Year
from
this
Edgerly
family
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs,
her
name
is
Brielle
Jean
she's,
a
Spiel
is
a
17
year
old
junior
at
the
neighborhood
house,
Charter
School
Brielle
has
been
a
resident
of
South
Boston,
her
whole
entire
life
and
lives
with
her
mother
Bernie.
A
Her
her
brother
Raiden
and
her
dog,
Zoe,
Brielle
and
I,
had
the
opportunity
to
chat
with
her
previous
to
the
lunch
is
a
laid
back
and
and
positive
person,
she's
passionate
about
uplifting
other
people
being
a
loyal
and
supportive
friend
and
using
her
platform
as
a
woman
of
color
to
advocate
for
vulnerable
people
in
her
club
and
in
her
community
in
her
11-year
Club
career,
she
has
taken
leadership
roles
in
programs
such
as
Keystone
qsa
and
ready
to
work,
and
she
is
recognized
by
staff
as
an
excellent
teen
associate
from
the
junior
staff
as
well
as
working
with
younger
club
members
being
a
mentor.
A
D
Good
evening,
everybody,
my
name
is
Brielle,
as
you
guys
know,
I
might
clubs
this
year,
2023
Youth
of
the
year
I
would
just
want
to
say
thank
you
so
much
to
all
the
positive
people
that
has
been
in
my
life
so
far,
being
youth
in
a
year
wasn't
easy
and
I've
had
so
many
supporters,
including
my
mom
and
Tim
Josh
Michael.
All
of
them
have
been
by
my
side
since
day,
one
when
I
started
my
journey
to
becoming
Youth
of
the
year
I've
been
a
South
Boston
resident.
D
My
entire
life
I've
lived
within
the
club
and
within
my
neighborhood,
all
11
years
of
my
life,
so
I
know
what
it's
like
to
be.
A
club.
Kid,
through
and
through
I'm,
also
very
grateful
for
my
club,
giving
me
the
space
to
be
myself
and
giving
others
the
space
to
be
themselves,
knowing
that
at
the
Boys
and
Girls
Club
you
have
somebody
in
your
support
corner
at
all
times
is
the
best
thing
that
you
need.
D
Sometimes
all
we
need
is
someone
to
tell
us
that
we
can
do
it
and
it
can
take
you
a
really
long
and
far
away.
Some
of
my
accomplishments
at
my
boys
and
girls
club
is
starting
USA
club
and
studying
to
become
a
future
lifeguard
for
the
medical
experience
to
USA.
Club
is
a
club
for
kids
13
to
18
to
join,
and
we
basically
talk
about
what
makes
you
you
how
we
can
help
you
embrace
yourself,
embrace
your
inner
self
and
unlock
your
true
potential.
D
My
future
message
to
Youth,
and
anybody
in
my
community
is
be
yourself,
love
yourself,
and
once
you
have
those
tactic
Downs,
you
can
go
as
far
as
you
can,
because
the
only
person
standing
in
your
path
to
success
is
you.
Thank
you,
foreign.
A
You
know,
Brielle
did
say
her
Top
Choice
is
is
Northeastern,
University
and
I
think
it
should
be
your
only
choice
quite
frankly,
but
I
was
talking
to
her
early
about
she's
doing
the
college
tour
and
I
told
her.
My
wife,
Kate
is
sitting
over
over
here.
We've
been
taking
our
son
Matthew
on
his
college,
show
he's
also
a
junior
in
high
school
and
so
they've
been
he's
been
at
Clemson
and
other
places,
obviously,
to
Northeastern
and
it's
great
to
have
these
experience
these
Club
tours
and
club.
A
We
get
to
spend
time
with
you,
your
family
and
and
torabont
see
what
your
future
is
going
to
be.
My
my
club
tour
consisted
of
I'm,
the
oldest
six
and
sitting
in
the
back
of
my
father's
station
wagon,
which
is
the
size
of
the
Queen
Elizabeth
and
hurling
80
miles
an
hour
up
on
the
expressway.
We
left
we
used
to
go
to
Nantasket
Beach
at
seven
o'clock
in
the
morning.
A
My
father
would
make
us
leave
at
10
before
it
got
too
hot
or
crowded
I
thought
that
was
kind
of
the
whole
idea
and
pointed
out
to
his
right
hand,
side
and
said
it
was
UMass
Boston.
He
said,
introduce
yourself
to
it.
That
was
my
tool.
A
A
So
it's
great
when
you
grow
up
in
the
city
and
you've
been
here
all
your
life
and
and
so
many
institutions
means
such
a
great
deal
to
you
and
I
mentioned
you
know.
Growing
up
I
grew
up
in
Mattapan
and
then
we
moved
to
West,
Stroudsburg
and
I
was
10.,
and
you
know
my
dad
worked
all
day.
Dual
construction
had
a
night
job
a
couple
times
a
week.
My
mother
did
daycare
home,
and
so
it
was
just
you
know,
you're
trying
to
move
into
a
new
neighborhood.
A
You
know
you
don't
have
many
friends:
I
lived
on
manthan
Road
in
West
Roxbury,
where
my
mother
still
is
and
right
down
the
street
was
the
it
was
called
the
boys
club
back
then
just
simply
the
boys
club
and
but
that
became
an
oasis
not
just
for
boys
but
boys
and
girls
and
people
from
all
over
West,
Rockford
and
Roslindale,
an
oasis
for
people
to
go
to
the
beach
to
go
to
camps,
to
do
the
things
that
other
kids
in
other
affluent
neighborhoods
got
to
do,
and
it
was
never
lost
me
that
Foundation
of
those
friends,
those
experiences
that
we've
all
get
to
have
and
the
kids
still
get
to
enjoy
at
the
South
Boston
borders,
Club,
Boys
and
Girls
Club
and
all
clubs
all
across
the
city
still
endure
to
this
day.
A
So
I
mentioned
you
know
in
the
city
and
you
you
run
into
people
in
the
city,
whoever
I,
even
though
they
may
not
know
it.
They
have
a
huge
influence
on
your
life
and
and
you
watch
people
you
can
watch
people
I
tell
I,
tell
our
kids
all
the
time.
My
boys,
all
the
time
you
can
watch
people.
A
You
can
learn
really
great
things
from
people
and
you
can
learn
how
to
not
do
some
things
from
some
people
and
this
gentleman
that
I'm
going
to
produce
is
someone
I've
learned
a
lot
from
I've
just
watched
him
and
just
his
experience
growing
up
in
the
city
and
the
the
not-for-profits
he's
LED
and
the
in
the
culture
that
he
he
provides
is
really
something
pretty
extraordinary.
A
F
F
News
for
Brielle
so
so
last
night
last
night,
we're
at
the
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs,
and
we
have
six
incredible
Young
Folks
from
our
clubs.
You
know
across
the
city
and
we
knew
we
were
going
to
be
interviewing
them
and
we
knew
that
today
was
just
the
great
news
and
knowing
that
Brio
is
going
to
be
speaking
anyway
and
walking
in
and
I
did
not
know
that
she
didn't
know
so.
I
just
walked
up
front
and
says
hi
Brielle.
How
are
you
and
she's
smiling
I
was
like,
but
how
are
you
and
then
I'm?
F
Glad
I
didn't
break
the
news,
because
I
would
have
spoiled
the
whole
thing,
but
just
really
Brielle.
Congratulations
and
we're
very,
very,
very
proud
of
you
before.
I
start.
Yes,
yes,
before
I
start
I'm,
just
curious.
How
many
folks
in
the
room
here
are
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
Alum?
If
I
can
just
see
a
show
of
hands.
F
That's
great,
thank
you
so
much
because
it
really
talks
about
the
power
of
the
club.
I
was
I
was
so
excited
to
want
to
come
up
and
I
knew.
I
was
going
to
speed,
but
I
also
was
a
little
nervous
too,
because
I'm
excited
to
be
here
representing
the
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs,
but
also
being
here,
because
our
South
Boston
Club
has
done
a
great
job.
F
But
I
was
also
thinking
I'm,
a
kid
from
easting
I'm,
a
kid
from
East
Boston
and
back
in
the
day
it
was
at
East,
Boston,
salty
little
rivalry
going
on,
and
all
of
that
happened
on
the
football
field
and
and
everything
and
I
was
just
getting
these
flashbacks
and
then
I
called
one
of
my
friends
from
East
Boston
and
told
them.
How
excited
I
was
to
be
here
tonight
and
he
just
said
just
make
sure.
F
No
one
puts
a
photo
of
this
in
the
East
Boston
times,
but
really
great
to
be
here,
but
I
also
stand
here
and
I
and
I
hope
he
doesn't
mind.
But
I've
seen
here
and
I
see,
city
council
president,
you
know
Ed,
Flynn
and
and
to
think
and
really
honor
and
thank
him.
You
know
many
many
years
ago
and
his
dad's
role
is
the
man
we
have.
You
know
meru
hair,
you
know
his
father
hired
me
and
hiring
me
changed
my
life
and
I.
F
Think
of
that
because
your
dad
had
like
you
was
a
Boys
and
Girls
Club
young
person,
and
you
think
of
this.
You
know
we
start
thinking
about
the
trajectory
that
we
build
with
folks
from
the
clubs,
your
dad
being
a
club
being
a
mayor.
Then
your
dad
hiring
me
now
I'm
leading
the
club
as
a
young
Alum
of
this
Legions
boys
club
now
in
the
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
in
East
Boston.
F
But
you
all
know
the
impact
the
club
really
makes
I
just
want
to
really
just
thank
you
know
so
many
folks
when
he
goes
to
Jerry,
Tim
and
Zach,
for
your
leadership
and
just
thank
you
and
we
all
know
like
listen.
We
know,
Patty
is
a
legend,
not
just
in
you
know
South
Boston,
but
she
is
just
a
legend
throughout
our
clubs.
Throughout
the
city
of
Boston
and
I
know
we
did
early
but
I'm
going
to
do
it
again.
Can
we
just
hear
it
prepared
it
again
for
her
leadership.
F
F
You
know,
folks
that
really
believe
in
this
Talent
base
of
our
young
folks,
and
we
all
know
we
reflect
back
when
we
were
all
young
and
we
needed
somebody
and
had
somebody
who
believed
in
us
as
we're
moving
forward
I'm
about
a
year
in
this
row.
I
next
week
will
be
one
year
in
and
I'll
tell
you.
It
has
been
an
incredible
journey
during
this
time.
You
know
Tim
I
want
to
just
also
recognize
and
acknowledge
your
work,
your
leadership
and
everything
that
you
have
done
and
continue
to
do.
So.
F
We're
really
looking
forward
to
ensuring
that
our
young
folks,
like
Brielle,
are
going
to
have
these
opportunities
to
not
just
you
know,
do
well
during
their
Club
time,
but
we
want
them
participating.
We
want
them
graduating
for
a
lot
of
you,
folks
that
are
working
at
companies
or
building
companies.
We
want
to
build
your
talent
pipeline.
We
want
to
get
our
young
folks
ready
for
the
jobs
and
the
careers
that
exist
or
the
baby
to
look
at
local
local
elected
officials
that
we
have
here.
F
I
see
Danny
and
Bob,
and
others
great
to
see
you
here,
but
but
I
remember
back
in
the
day
when
even
We
Were
Young
back
in
the
day
and
and
we
were
looking
up
the
folks
and
we
wanted
to
be
like
them-
that's
what
we
want
to
provide
for
all
of
our
young
folks.
You
know
at
the
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
of
Boston
and
we're
spending
a
lot
of
time
doing
this
work.
So
please,
as
I
got
introduced
by
my
dear
friend
John,
and
thank
you
for
that.
F
Please
let
me
and
let
others
know
what
we
can
do,
what
we
need
to
be
doing
what
we
should
be
doing
for
our
young
folks,
and
we
want
to
continue
to
follow
the
great
model
that
has
happened
here
in
South
Boston
at
the
Edgeley
Club.
Just
thank
you
again
for
your
support.
F
So,
if
you're
down
there
you'll
see
it
and
on
Monday
we'll
be
doing
a
celebration
with
NBC
10
and
really
promoting
the
130
years
of
the
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs,
now
we're
moving
forward
with
the
next
130
years
new.
Thank
you
all
enjoy
your
lunch.
Thank
you
for
your
support
and
all
you
do
on
behalf
of
my
young
boys
and
girls
and
girls.
Thank
you.
John.
A
Thank
you,
I
think
Robert.
Once
you
get
over
your
shyness
you're
going
to
be
an
extraordinary
speaker,
I
think
that
would
be
there's
some
classes.
For
that.
You
know
it
is
now
come
time
for
the
portion
of
the
program
where
we
try
and
cram
60
seconds
of
legitimate
laughs
into
one
hour
and
I
hope
you're
with
us
now
keep
in
mind
we're
here
to
have
a
good
time
and
have
a
lot
raise
money
for
the
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
and
and
help
our
young
people.
A
But
it's
also
very
important
if
the
last
three
years
have
taught
us
anything
that
it's
it's
really
important
to
be
able
to
laugh
and
not
laugh
necessarily
at
somebody
or
at
each
other,
but
laugh
with
each
other
and
I.
Just
think
that
nothing
brings
people
of
all
different
backgrounds
together,
more
than
anything
than
than
communal
laughter,
so
keep
in
mind.
A
I
am
I,
am
not
a
a
professional
comedian
by
any
stretch
of
the
imagination,
and
nobody
to
my
left
is
I
can
assure
you
of
that
so
they're
all
doing
the
best
say
about
the
vocations
thank
God.
If
they
all
performed
the
left
Boston,
we
would
have
been
closed
the
first
week,
so
just
keep
in
mind
they're
all
doing
their
best.
Here
they
have
important
jobs
but
they're
here
to
try
and
and
and
have
some
some
laughs,
so
I'm
gonna
call
I
I'm
really
honored
to
introduce
our
first
guest.
A
A
It's
funny
that
we're
here
today,
talking
about
kids
and
I,
think
she
looks
at
things
through
the
eyes
of
someone
who
has
two
small
children
and
she
talked
about
and
I'm
paraphrasing
here
she
talked
about
how
we
can't
talk,
continue
to
talk
about
kids
Futures
if
we're
not
working
on
their
presence
and
and
that's
really
really
important
to
keep
in
mind
and
so
I
was
concerned
I.
Actually
this
morning
you
probably
saw
the
breaking
news.
All
four
lines
of
the
MBTA
announced
that
they
were
operating
in
15
to
25
miles
per
hour.
A
But
then
I
was
relieved
because
I
know
that's
nine
miles
above
what
they
usually
do,
yeah
or
so
and
I
know.
The
mayor
has
a
pension
for
public
transportation,
so
I
fit.
When
I
saw
this
news,
I
said
well,
she
probably
won't
be
hit
on
Thursday.
So,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
a
big
round
of
applause
for
our
mayor
mayor,
Michelle,
Wu.
E
Good
afternoon,
everyone
thank
you
so
much
for
being
here
to
support
such
an
incredible
organization
that
is
doing
work
in
a
community
that
has
always
banded
together
to
support
our
young
people
and
our
futures.
I
am
really
excited
to
be
joined
by
so
many
colleagues.
Here
this
incredible
illustrious
head
table
from
father
Joe
all
the
way
down
to
my
colleagues
in
elected
office
and
those
who
are
making
a
difference
in
the
lives
of
kids
every
day,
I
I,
don't
I,
don't
know
if
there's.
E
They're
joined
by
their
colleagues
also
rep
Dan
Cahill
Dan
Hunt,
Danny
Ryan,
you
know,
Massachusetts,
voters
have
two
types:
women
and
men
named
Daniel
little
for
massport
is
here.
Thank
you
for
all
that
you
do
to
keep
Massachusetts
moving.
We
do
have
a
job
opening
at
the
MBTA
as
well,
so
we
could
use
some
of
your
expertise
and
advice.
E
D.A,
Kevin,
Hayden,
Sheriff,
Steve
Tompkins,
thanks
for
what
you
do
to
keep
our
city
and
county
and
Commonwealth
safe
I'm
joined
here
by
our
amazing
chief
of
planning
for
the
city
of
Boston,
Arthur,
Jemison
and
members
of
his
team.
We're
so
grateful
for
all
that
you
are
are
leading
in
the
city
and
as
well
as
my
colleagues
on
the
city,
council,
councilor,
Baker,
councilor,
Murphy,
councilor,
Flynn,
I,
know
councilor
Flaherty
wanted
to
be
here.
Something
came
up
as
well
as
the
the
local
delegation,
Senator,
Collins
and
and
representative
veal.
Thank
you
I'm
sure.
E
As
just
heard,
we
are
all
kind
of
all
common
means
to
see
the
T
once
again.
Imposing
new
slow
zones
and
25
mile
per
hour
tops
across
all
of
the
major
lines-
red
orange,
blue
and
green,
and
you
know
it
makes
sense
that
we
need
to
focus
on
safety
first,
and
this
is
just
25
miles
an
hour,
blinding
speeds
at
which
compared
to
what
the
T
was
was
previously
traveling,
and
that
means
that
technically
now
there
are
no
more
slow
zones,
because
everywhere
this
is
just
the
new
normal
normal
speed
zone.
E
You
all
may
have
seen
that
a
woman
at
the
Red
Line
Station
was
almost
hit
by
a
falling
ceiling.
Tile
I
think
we
all
saw
the
video
just
stopped
short
and
it
came
down
to
inches
from
her.
They
have
completed
the
internal
investigation.
I
just
got
the
briefing
this
morning
and
the
information
showed
that
the
tile
was
actually
scheduled
to
fall
an
hour
and
a
half
earlier,
but
there
were
some
delays.
E
E
Be
grateful
for
Governor,
Baker
and
secretary
Walsh's,
many
years
of
service
to
the
people
of
our
city,
our
Commonwealth
and
our
country,
but
frankly,
we've
been
ready
for
some
time
now
to
let
them
in
play
games.
While
the
women
handle
the
important
work
of
governance.
E
In
very
exciting
news
for
our
agenda
at
City,
Hall,
I'm,
so
thankful
to
the
city
council
for
passing
our
proposal
for
rent
stabilization
through
with
with
a
wide
margin,
it
makes
me
feel
better
that
we
made
the
right
decision
and
internally
we
had
agonized
over
what
side
do
we
choose?
E
Do
we
try
to
make
it
more
affordable
to
live
in
Boston
or
less?
Do
we
want
residents
rent
to
be
lower
or
higher?
It
was
complicated
and
we
were
considering
for
a
while.
The
proposal
put
forward
by
the
other
side,
a
rent
destabilization
bill
that
would
have
implemented
a
minimum
annual
rent
increase
of
10
percent.
All
apartments
painted
with
lead
paint
and
insulated
with
asbestos.
G
E
I'm
being
a
little
bit
unfair
to
the
critics
of
our
proposal
and
their
logic
was
that
the
only
way
to
lower
rent
was
to
raise
it
somehow,
which
makes
a
lot
of
not
a
lot
of
sense
when
you
remember
that
their
response
to
the
fear
of
losing
money
in
the
industry
was
to
spend
it
on
a
nearly
half
million
dollar
ad
campaign.
Against
this.
If
you
didn't
know,
the
Greater
Boston
real
estate
board
put
out
four
hundred
thousand
dollars
handing
out
flyers
in
their
words,
to
educate
tenants
about
the
downsides
of
rent
control.
E
You
know
some
folks
who
claim
to
speak
for
the
real
estate
industry
will
tell
you
that
they
are
fully
against
every
aspect
of
our
proposal,
but
in
politics
in
this
room
we
all
know
that
you
have
to
pay
less
attention
to
what
people
are
saying
and
more
to
what
they
do
right
actions,
not
words
they're
spending
their
own
money
on
a
mail
and
texting
campaign
about
this
and
for
people
who
are
supposedly
so
anti-rent
control,
they're.
Giving
me
a
lot
of
space
in
their
heads:
rent,
free,
rent,
stabilized,
okay,
all
right,
okay.
E
E
I
try
to
keep
my
kids
away,
as
you
heard
I'm
a
mom
I
try
to
keep
them
just
insulated
and
far
away
from
the
Politics
as
possible,
but
it
has
been
spilling
over
more
and
more
at
home,
and
just
yesterday,
I
asked
them
to
take
out
the
trash
and
they
said
they
were
instead
going
to
be
submitting
a
proposal
to
capture
increases
by
CPI
plus
six
percent.
E
This
winter
has
been
the
fifth
warmest
on
record,
and
we
know
in
the
big
scheme
of
things
it's
it's
quite
concerning
about
climate,
but
we
have
had
a
lot
to
deal
with.
Instead,
you
know
it
has
been
a
little.
You
know
flourish
here
and
there
into
March.
Instead,
it's
kind
of
stretching
out
the
the
weather
patterns
are
different,
but
I
am
confident
that
spring
is
just
around
the
corner.
E
E
E
So
looking
forward
to
the
breakfast
to
the
parade
and
celebrating
this
incredible
season
back
in
person
with
all
of
you
most
of
all,
we
are
so
excited
to
honor,
Brielle
and
just
to
celebrate
the
example,
the
role
model
that
you
are
for
so
many
11
years
at
the
club,
all
the
leadership
that
you've
shown
I'm
going
to
add
my
citation
from
the
city
of
Boston
to
a
huge
pile
that
you're
getting
from
all
of
us.
But
thank
you
for
what
you
do.
A
Hi
before
I
get
to
our
next
guest
I.
This
gentleman
goes
in
for
a
job
interview
and
he
says
to
the
interviewer
the
interviewer
says
to
me
says:
can
you
name
your
your
greatest
weakness
and
the
guy
said
well,
I.
Think
my
greatest
weakness
is
my
honesty
and
the
interviewer
says
well:
I.
Don't
really
think
that
honesty
is
a
weakness
and
the
guy
said
I
don't
give
a
crap
what
you
think.
A
And
folks,
here
we
go
a
couple
been
married
for
40
years:
they
just
fight
and
fight
and
fight.
They
finally
agree
to
go
see
a
a
marriage,
a
therapist
and
so
they're
sitting
there
on
the
couch,
the
therapist
and
they're,
just
tickering
back
and
forth,
going
back
and
forth
and
arguing,
and
so
the
therapist
can't
take
it
anymore.
A
So
he
stands
up
and
he
grabs
the
wife
and
he
kisses
her
passionately
on
the
lips,
and
he
says
she
said
he
says
to
the
husband,
see
that's
what
your
wife
needs
twice
a
week:
passion
that's
what
she
needs
and
the
guy
takes
out.
His
phone
looks
at
his
calendar.
He
says
well,
doctor
I
can
have
her
here
on
Wednesdays
and
Fridays.
A
All
right,
so
what
that's
a
little
appetizer
there
before
we
go
right
into
the
whole
program.
It
is.
It
is
really
my
pleasure
to
choose
our
next
speaker
this
guy
I've
known
for
a
long
time.
State
representative
state
senator
probably
has
the
toughest
job
political
job
in
the
state
and
running
the
self.
The
the
Saint
Patrick's
Day
breakfast,
which
has
a
long
tradition,
I,
see
Jack.
How
about
a
senator
Hyde
is
here
with
his
wife,
Michelle
great
foreign.
A
Cable
to
get
it
on
preview
and
Stark
case
back
in
the
day
in
the
80s
right,
and
then
we
get
on
on
TV,
but
I
used
to
watch.
That
thing
like
it
was
the
Super
Bowl
I
didn't
miss
that
a
second
of
that
and
just
the
legends
that
would
host
that
and
the
people
and
the
characters
and
everybody
just
having
a
good
time.
Everybody
in
on
the
joke,
and
so
I
I
got
my
when
I
finally
made
it
to
the
city
council
after
two
years
Senator.
A
How
Jack
called
me
and
said
he
said:
I
may
have
a
chance
for
you
to
be
up
there
and
tell
a
joke
and
I
could
not
believe
it.
I
spent
I
spent
a
week
just
agonizing
what
was
going
to
tell
and
then
I
had
we
had
a
city
council
who's
no
longer
there
anymore
completely
died
bombed
into
the
crowd
and
Jack
come
up
to
me,
and
he
says
you
run
next.
A
It
was
Mara
Hannigan,
oh
I,
and
she
it
was
brutal
and
I.
You
know
she
got
the
last
laugh.
She
beat
me
twice,
okay,
so
what
am
I
gonna
do
so.
I
said
thanks
for
the
nice
lead-in,
but
it
was
such
an
honor
to
go.
Tell
that
one
joke
and
to
be
up
there
and
Jack
gave
me
that
chance,
and
so
thank
you
very
much
Jack
for
that.
It's
a
great
memory
I
have
and
to
be
part
of
an
unbelievable
institution.
So
thank
you,
I
Know
Jack.
A
When
he
got
elected
Senator
he
said
he
almost
turned
it.
He
almost
went
to
the
results
overturned
because
that
meant
he
had
a
host
of
breakfast
and
the
extraordinary
work
that
goes
into
it.
The
fundraising,
it's
a
it's
a
TV
production.
It's
a
live
television
show
to
coordinate
that
Conan,
O'brien
and
Jimmy
Fallon.
Do
that,
but
elected
officials,
that's
a
Monumental
task
and
Nick.
Does
it
so
well
he's
kept
that
tradition
revived
despite
the
naysayers,
he's
kept
it
going
him
and
his
staff
and
it's
extraordinary.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
our
state
senator
Nick
Collins.
H
John
Josh
father
White,
mayor
Wu,
my
colleagues
in
government
who
have
been
supporters
of
this
selfie
club
and
clubs
across
the
city
and
state
for
years.
Thank
you
and
congratulations
to
Robert
Lewis
Jr
from
your
leadership
and
a
big
shout
out.
I
know
there
was
a
shout
out
big
shout
out
to
Patty
McCormack
who's,
this
team
together
every
year,
Tim
in
the
the
team
at
the
club,
Jerry
and
the
board
who
made
this
event
happen
and
everything
at
the
club
be
around
possible.
H
It's
a
team
of
dedicated
people
who
we
are
lucky
to
have
in
South
Boston.
Thank
you
also
to
sponsors
this
year,
all
of
whom
and
many
of
whom
are
in
attendance.
Special.
Thank
you
also
to
the
general
manager
here
at
Omni,
Seaport
Michael
Jorgensen,
when
the
boss,
when
the
boys
and
girls
club,
was
looking
to
relocate
this
annual
event
on
the
and
Michael
stepped
right
up,
and
you
know
we're
very
grateful.
H
H
Congratulations
to
Brielle
and
your
family
being
named
this
year's
Club
Youth
of
the
year
and
representing
the
city-wide.
The
leadership
skills
you've
owned
at
the
club
will
serve
you
for
years
to
come.
As
a
former
Club
member
myself,
I
can
tell
you
the
experience
that
you
had
at
the
club
and
continue
to
have
the
club
will
carry
you
forward.
So
congratulations
and
good
luck
on
your
new
Pursuits
I
know
currently
at
the
neighbor
when
I
was
Charter
School
in
my
district
and
hopefully
Northeastern
and
into
medicine.
H
So
congratulations
you
make
us
as
well
as
your
family,
very
proud.
H
Foreign
who
takes
on
this
task
to
be
the
host
when
he
was
the
host
across
the
street
at
his
place
left
Boston
was
very
generous
and
has
always
been
a
great
friend
to
us
here
in
South
Boston,
so
John.
Thank
you
for
your
support
and
your
work
here
on
behalf
of
the
club.
H
And
I
see
my
good
friend
Tom
McGrath,
the
South
Boston
citizens
Association.
Thank
you
Tommy,
for
what
you're
doing
for
making
sure
I
use.
You
know
about
evacuation
during
the
history.
H
Let
me
celebrate
here,
and
you
know
we
know
it's
an
exciting
time
of
year,
but
it
is
Silly.
Season
I
want
to
thank
John
and
the
mayor,
for
you
know
tamping
down
the
expectations
up
here.
H
So
we
have.
We
have
a
new
governor,
Governor
Healy,
he's
doing
a
great
job
so
far,
and
we're
excited
to
have
her,
along
with
our
mayor
front
and
center
at
the
Diaz,
as
John
mentioned
at
this
year's
Empire
State
breakfast
later
this
month
on
Parade
day.
I
also
want
to
thank
the
mayor
who
supported
ensuring
that
the
parade
was
able
to
go
by
Dorchester
Heights
again
this
year.
H
H
And
as
I
mentioned,
we're
in
Silly
Season,
it's
important
to
understand
that,
particularly
for
the
new
guests
that,
while
this
luncheon
is
a
great
tradition
to
support
our
South
Boston
Club,
it's
also
kicks
off
a
series
of
events
where
we
test
out
some
jokes
that
you
heard
before
so
on
the
spirit
of
that
I'm
going
to
try
one
out
but
I'll
stay
away
from
politics
for
the
day.
H
So
in
Englishmen,
a
Scottish
man
and
an
Irishman
go
into
a
bar
in
order
three
guinnesses,
when
the
bartender
puts
them
down
three
flies
dive
bomb
into
each
pint,
one
in
each
the
Englishman
looks
and
discuss
and
pushes
back
the
point
away
demanding
another.
A
Scotsman
picks
the
fly
out
and
simply
drinks,
his
pint.
H
That's
it
so
I
want
to
serve
as
a
senator
for
this
District
and
I
want
to
make
sure
that
we
continue
to
support
IU.
So
thank
you
all
for
coming
out
to
support
the
St
Patrick's
Day
launching
happy
evacuation
day,
happy
Saint,
Patrick's,
Day.
A
That's
great
Nick
just
leave
them
on
a
laugh
and
pull
the
shoot
and
leave
the
rest
to
us.
We
got
it
before
I
get
to
our
next
speaker.
I
did
mention
my
my
wife.
Kate
is
over
here
with
my
father,
Skippy
Puckett
and
my
brother-in-law
JP
and
their
guests
over
there
and
my
father-in-law's
a
big
Club
kid,
a
big
round
of
applause
for
them.
A
So
you
know
my
which
one
so
many
jokes
which
one
to
go
with
guy
goes
to
the
guy
goes
to
his
doctor
and
he
says
doctor
I
thought
long
and
hard
and
I've
decided.
I
want
to
be
castrated
and
the
doctor
says:
that's
a
really
life-changing
decision
there.
You
should
think
about
these
I
thought
about.
He
said,
go
home
for
a
couple
of
days
and
think
about
it
and
think
about
that
decision.
The
guy
comes
back.
Two
days
later.
He
says
a
doctor.
A
I've
decided
I
want
to
be
castrated
more
so
than
ever
so.
The
guy
preps
him
Wheels
them
into
surgery
he's
in
for
four
hours
and
he
wakes
up
all
groggy
bandages
side
to
side
covering
them,
and
he
looks
over
there's
a
guy
in
the
next
bed
sitting
up
dunking
donuts
reading
the
Heralds
and
he
says
what'd
you
have
done
and
the
guy
said,
I
had
a
vasectomy
and
the
guy
says
that's
the
word.
A
So
I
want
to
I
want
to
introduce
our
next
speaker
he's
a
and
someone
mentioned
Michael
Florida
supposed
to
be
up
next.
Michael
Flaherty
has
never
missed
this.
This
luncheon
and
he
had
a
little
a
little
subtle
episode.
He's
all
right
he's
fine.
He
just
can't
make
it
today
and
he
sends
his
regrets,
and
but
it
was
the
first
time
he's
ever
missed
it.
You
know,
Michael
he's
missed
a
South
Boston
and
all
about
this
place
and
all
about
the
club,
so
he
does
send
his
regrets.
A
So
it
is
my
it's
my
great
honor
to
introduce
someone
who's
become
a
friend
he's
been
you
know,
a
student
of
government
and
in
his
neighborhood
in
South
Boston
working
for
Nick
in
the
state
house
and
and
rising
up
he's
now,
a
third
term
state
representative,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
a
big
round
of
applause
for
representative
David
Beale.
A
I
On
a
serious
note,
it's
really
an
honor
to
be
with
you
all
here
today.
We've
heard
a
lot
today
about
the
importance
of
tradition
in
our
community
and
47
years
of
this
event
happening
here
in
South
Boston.
It
wouldn't
happen
without
a
tremendous
work
of
a
lot
of
individuals.
Who've
already
been
named,
but
is
a
former
Club
advisory
member
I
do
want
to
thank
Patty,
McCormick
and
Jerry
robekis
for
what
they
do
for
this
event
every
year.
Thank
you
very
much.
I
And
also
Tim
and
Zach
for
being
Advisory
Board
co-chairs
and
being
involved,
whether
it's
it's
this,
the
Boys
and
Girls
Club
golf
tournament.
Thank
you
for
all
that
you
do
each
and
every
day
for
you.
Thank
you.
I
And
as
I
look
around
the
room,
there's
there's
history
everywhere:
Senator
Hart,
who's,
a
institution
in
politics
in
events
like
this
I
see
Neighbors
from
across
South
Boston
I
just
want
to
thank
everybody
for
being
part
of
our
community
part
of
our
tradition,
You're,
the
Reason.
These
events
happen
every
year
and
how
the
Boys
and
Girls
Club
is
able
to
do
the
great
work
in
South
Boston.
So
thank
you
for
being
here
and
thank
you
for
being
a
part
of
our
community.
I
And
I
apologize
to
my
colleagues
from
the
the
house
who
are
here.
Thank
you
for
being
here.
Your
great
supporters
of
the
club
I
apologize
for
the
jokes
that
are
about
to
come
out
of
my
mouth.
G
I
I
You
know
one
of
the
other
great
things
about
this
time
of
year
is
Irish
soda
bread,
I'm,
a
big
fan
of
it.
Joseph's
Bakery
in
South
Boston
does
a
tremendous
job
with
it.
I
Just
the
other
day,
an
Englishman,
an
Irishman
went
into
Joseph's
the
Englishman
stole
three
buns
and
put
them
into
his
pocket
and
walked
out.
He
bragged
to
the
Irishman
and
said:
did
you
just
see
that
display
of
skill
the
owner
didn't
even
see
me?
The
Irishman
replied,
that's
just
simple:
thievery
I'll
show
you
how
to
do
it
the
honest
way
with
the
exact
same
results
the
Irishman
walked
in
proceeded
to
call
it
the
owner
of
the
bakery
and
asked
him
to
come
over.
You
want
to
show
them
a
magic
trick.
I
I
My
dad
always
said
try
to
go
in
a
high
note,
so
we
have
a
little
bit
of
work
to
do
for
next
week.
There's
a
professional
comedian
on
the
way
who
hopefully
is
a
lot
better
than
we
are,
but
thank
you
for
being
here.
God
bless.
You.
A
I
do
want
to
mention
this.
This
QR
codes
on
your
tables
there's
a
big
event
in
April
vacation,
there's
a
bunch
of
club,
kids
and
club
kids
from
all
over
the
city
who
are
going
to
historically
black
colleges,
universities,
they're,
doing
a
tour
of
a
bunch,
I
think
11
or
12
colleges
in
April
and
there's
a
QR
code
on
you
on
your
tables.
A
If
you
be
so
kind,
you've
already
been
so
generous,
but
you
can
really
help
make
a
difference
in
a
kid's
life
and
and
take
those
to
us
and
who
knows
what
the
the
future
leads
for
them
taking
those
to
us
so
just
try
and
be
as
generous
as
possible.
We
really
appreciate
it
I.
You
know,
I
mentioned
my
wife,
Kate
I
I
do
have
to
confess.
Like
last
month,
I
was
at
a
party
and
I
came
home
from
the
from
a
bar.
A
A
Guy
guy
suspects,
his
wife,
is
having
an
affair
on
him
during
the
day,
so
he
decides
to
surprise
her
at
home
in
the
afternoon
and
he
suspects
that
the
guy
who
walks
in
the
door
goes
up
the
stairs,
and
this
is
his
wife
laying
in
the
bed
and
he
senses.
Something
is
up
so
looks
around.
A
He
whips
open
the
closet
door
and
there's
a
naked
man
standing
in
his
closet,
and
he
says:
aha,
he
says
who
are
you
and
the
guy
says
Billy
from
Bugs
be
gone
and
he
says
what
are
you
doing
in
my
closet?
He
said
I'm
here
to
investigate
a
moth
infestation
and
he
said
why
are
you
naked
and
the
guy
looks
down?
He
says
those
bastards.
A
All
right,
I
also
want
to
it's.
You
know
what
a
great
lead-in
for
Louisiana
city
council
at
lodge
just
walked
in
has
been
here
for
a
little
bit
a
big
round
of
applause
for
her
it's
a
force
in
the
city,
all
right,
it
is
now.
My
great
is
Corey
Corey
here
Corey
there
he
is
hi
Corey
I
I
am
so
fortunate.
A
I've
been
involved
in
the
comedy
business,
thankfully,
on
the
other
side
of
the
microphone
for
31
years
and
I've
just
met
some
extraordinary
human
beings
and
people
who
have
opened
up
my
world
to
different
ways
of
life.
I
think
comedians
are
the
smartest
people
in
the
world.
They
question
the
Absurd.
They
challenge
the
status
quo
all
over
the
world
and
it's
it's
it's
Universal
and
there's
so
many
that
just
teaches
so
many
great
things.
They
have
so
many
great
times
with
I'm,
really
honored.
A
To
call
this
this
guy,
a
friend,
I'm
working
with
him
for
many
many
years.
He
is
a
rising
he's.
He's
there
he's
he's
a
dad
he's
he's
just
an
extraordinarily
hard
worker
he's
working
all
over
the
country
he's
one
of
our
favorites
across
the
street
and
every
club
we
promote,
ladies
and
gentlemen
from
Milton
Massachusetts,
a
big
round
of
applause,
so
Mr
Corey,
Rodriguez.
J
J
J
Say
it
say
it
I'm,
like
I,
don't
talk
like
that,
they're
like
why
I
said
because
I'm
black?
That's,
why
I
don't
talk
like
that,
but
then
I
come
here
today:
I,
don't
listen
to
Robert,
Lewis
and
I'm
like
all
right!
Well,
we
talk
like
that
too.
We
do
talk
like
that.
You
and
Jermaine
Wiggins.
These
are
the
only
ones
you
and
Wiggy
I'm
telling
you.
G
J
They
say
they
say
we're
like
Angry
in
Boston
all
over
anger
in
New
England.
Why
you
guys
so
upset
well,
you're
so
upset
all
the
time
and
it's
like.
Oh,
no,
we're
not
upset,
but
we
kind
of
we're
a
little.
We
are
a
little
spicy
there's
like
people.
Ask
me
where
I
love
to
perform
like
home,
because
we
have
a
different
Edge,
we're
spicy
I
noticed
I
was
in
Grand
Rapids
Michigan,
not
long
ago,
I'm
walking
down
the
street,
and
this.
F
J
Said
I
said
good.
Why
are
you
looking
at
me
like
that?
Stop
making
eye
contact
with
me
for
so
long?
What
do
you
want?
Creepy
man
stop
looking
at
me.
Nobody
does
that
from
home.
If
someone's
like
how
you
doing
they're
gone
before
you
answer,
they
don't
care
what
you
say
you
get
used
to
the
meanness
you
get
used
to,
but
driving
hits
sometimes
is
a
bit
much
like
I
was
driving
here
today,
no
joke
and
I
I
put
my
blinker
on
and
I
see
this
guy
in
my
rearview
mirror
like
come
on.
J
J
It's
only
fitting
now
I
say
this,
because
I
wasn't
even
thinking
about
talking
about
this.
But
since
we
are
people
been
talking
about
Irish
people,
a
lot
John,
you
did
say
it
was
a
Saint
Patrick's.
J
Everyone's
in
green
I
was
like
okay,
faithful
black
shirt,
but
whatever
you
came
up
here
with
the
program,
so
I
had
some
green,
but
whatever
I'll
move
on
I
travel
all
over
the
world
doing
stand
up,
I
do
cruise
ships
sometimes
and
a
few
months
back
I
was
in
I
did
Iceland
at
the
Amsterdam
Iceland
and
I
did
Ireland
I
never
been
Ireland
before
and
I
have
a
few
Irish
friends
because
I'm
from
Milton,
so
in
Zion,
so
I'm
like
yo,
that
black
people
in
Ireland
are
like
nah
there's.
J
J
I,
don't
know
if
you
know
this,
but
cork
is
the
last
place
the
Titanic's
hail
from
before
it
sunk,
so
that
was
cool
but
anyways.
There's
a
lot
of
Game
of
Thrones
things
there
in
court
and
so
I
Love
Game
of
Thrones
I
was
gonna
get
up
early
when
we
get
to
corporate
I'm
gonna
go
check
it
out,
but
I
didn't
get
up
early,
because
I
was
out
with
John
drinking
that
night
that
he
was
trying
to
tell
his
wife
what
time
it
wasn't.
So
I
got
off
the
ship.
G
J
Is
I
just
take
me
to
a
pub
somewhere
close
to
him
to
logo?
He
was
like
no
problem,
so
they
take
me
to
the
pub
and
I
get
in
there
and
it
looks
much
like
this
room.
Man
is
the
black
people.
It
looks
just
like
this
room
looks
like
Boston.
Ireland
is
boss,
I'm
telling
you
a
walk-in,
there's
three
guys
to
my
left,
one
guy
to
my
right.
Some
people
behind
me
back
here,
so
I
go
in
and
walk
in,
go
right
up
to
the
bar
I'm
like
all
right.
J
J
In
this
bar
I
see
these
three
guys
right
here.
This
one
guy
is:
damn
I,
see
him
drink
a
couple
beers
already,
but
I
see
them
drink
two
or
three
beers.
These
other
guys
are
drinking
a
lot.
The
guy
goes
hey
give
me
one
more
I
gotta
get
back
to
work.
What
yeah
a
lot
of
you
doing
the
same
thing:
anyways
anyways,
let's
move
on
so
I'm,
looking
at
this
guy
and
I'm,
like
I,
can't
believe
this
guy
he's
wearing
a
orange
vest.
I'm
like
what
does
he
do
like
this?
J
E
J
J
To
me,
besides
telling
me
to
get
the
Murphys
I
drank
the
Murphys
and
I'm
drinking
I'm
drinking
a
bunch.
At
this
point
and
I
said,
let
me
get
a
I
said.
Let
me
I
said
to
the
bartender:
can
I
get
some
wings
and
she
said
yeah?
She
said
you
want
them
spicy
or
regular.
I
said
just
just
special.
She
said
spicy
I.
J
Just
give
me
some
regular
Wings,
she
goes
you
want
them,
spicy,
don't
you
I
said
no,
no
I
never
said
spicy
I
want
regular,
Wings
how'd.
They
come.
You
ask
me.
Two
choices,
I'll
take
regular.
She
goes
you
like
them.
Spicy
I
was
like
fine
give
them
to
me
spicy
all
right,
because
the
Irish
are
known
for
their
spice.
Then
comes
the
salt
and
pepper
all
right.
J
Whatever
I'll
take
the
I
take
you
know
and
she
goes
I
go.
How
many
come
in
the
order?
Six
or
eight,
and
she
goes
yeah.
I
said:
okay,
give
me
two
orders
all
right,
so
she
walks
away
I'm
sitting
there
just
chilling
watching
TV.
She
comes
back
a
little
bit
later
and
she
goes
oh.
Oh,
my
eyes
are
burning,
oh
so
spicy,
so
spicy,
my
nose
is
running,
and
these
two
guys
who
haven't
been
talking
to
me
at
all
in
the
corner
goes
so
spicy,
so
spicy.
J
Goes
my
eyes
are
running.
My
nose
is
running
and
I'm
thinking
she's
coming
with
some
hot
Caribbean
spice,
and
it's
like
you
know,
Frank's
Red,
Hot
right.
She
comes
with
These
Wings
Are
floating
in
franks.
It
just
looks
like
tomato
soup
just
fill
a
bowl
filled
with
Franks
in
his
wings
floater.
She
goes
you're
a
big
man.
You
know
that
you're,
a
big
man,
big
man,
you're
a
big
man
and
these
guys
go
big
man,
big
man
and
I
was
like.
J
J
Crazy,
so
I'm
taking
the
wings
out
and
I'm
wiping
them
on
the
side
of
the
bowl
to
get
the
sauce
off,
because
it's
gross
eating
the
wings
I
take
a
break.
I
feel
like
eight
of
them,
and
these
guys
are
like.
Oh
look
at
him.
He's
quitting
he's
tapping
out
and
she
goes
they're
too
spicy
for
you.
They're
too
spicy
aren't.
J
J
J
J
You
know,
because
she
was
putting
pressure
on
me,
like
you
can't
finish
and
like
the
pressure
I
was
feeling
was
like
I
had
to
eat
wings,
because
I
felt
like
she
was
thinking
in
her
mind
like
black
people,
love
spicy
wings
I
was
like
I
have
to
eat
all
the
wings
for
every
black
person
in
the
United
States
like
I
have
to
I,
have
to
represent
them
and
eat
These
Wings.
This
is
what
I
was
thinking.
This
is
a
feeling.
J
J
J
Taxi's
not
gonna
come
here
like
what
do
you
mean
I
gotta
come
here
I'm
a
very
new
cruise
before,
but
they
never
say
no
to
her
anyways
I'm
like
what
do
you
mean
they're,
not
gonna,
come
here.
She
goes
no
you're
too
close,
and
then
this
guy
who
hasn't
said
anything
to
me.
The
whole
time
goes:
yeah
they're
not
going
to
get
you.
This
is
cool.
Let's
get
close,
but
I
want
it
to
be
like
you
should
shut
the
hell
up,
but
I
did
it
I
just
said.
Thank
you.
J
J
I
was
like
I'm
all
set.
I
said.
Give
me
my
check.
Please,
and
the
lady
goes.
No.
Is
this
what
she
said?
She
goes
Brandy's
a
good
man.
Let
Brandy
take
you
brendy's
a
good
I
said:
I,
don't
know,
Brandy
I
said
no
I'm
all
set,
give
him
a
check,
please.
She
goes
go
with
Brandy
he's
a
good
you'll.
Never
make
it
unless
you
go
with
him
and
I'm
like
no
drink.
All
these
I'm
not
going
with
Brandy
he's
you're
a
guest
in
Ireland
I
got
you
come
on
I'll.
J
Was
like
no
give
me
my
check
please
she
goes.
You
need
to
go
with
birthday
now:
I'm,
not
a
passive
guy
I'm,
not
passive,
aggressive
I'm,
assertive
I'm,
not
aggressive,
nothing!
So
I'm
like
in
my
head,
I'm
like
I,
just
want
to
be
like
I,
said
no,
but
now
I'm,
feeling
helpless.
I
got
like
eight
minutes
to
get
to
the
ship.
I
can't
run
with
all
this
beer
and
29
wings
at
me.
So
I'm,
like
all
right
man,
I'll
go
with
Brandy
brindy
goes.
Give
me
one
more.
What.
J
F
J
G
J
Everybody
I
said
my
name
is
Corey
Rodriguez
I'm
from
Boston
Massachusetts
I.
Need
you
to
know
that
I'm
also
a
good
man,
I'm
tied
up
in
Britney's,
basement
telling
jokes,
a
family
I'm,
a
good
man,
everyone's
laughing.
They
think
I'm,
joking
I'm,
serious
I'm,
hoping
somebody's
recorded
on
their
phone
or
there's
some
cameras
in
there
or
whatever,
and
then
I
walk
outside
and
I
start
to
get
in
the
car.
With
this
guy
I'm
just
thinking
my
friends
would
be
like.
J
This
guy
I
started
feeling
vulnerable
while
I
was
sitting
in
there
right
or
whatever,
and
at
one
point
I
was
nervous.
I
was
like
what,
if
this
dude
just
locked
me
in
this
car,
so
I
was
trying
to
open
the
door
and
I
opened
the
door.
He
goes
what's
wrong.
I
said
nothing.
My
jacket
got
caught
in
that
door,
but
I
didn't
have
a
jacket
on,
but
I
was
so
nervous
in
the
moment.
I
had
to
do
anything,
I
started
thinking
about
what
would
it
be
like
to
jump
out
of
a
car?
J
No
one
ever
talks
about
this
in
the
movies
they're
fine,
but
I
was
like.
Do
you
hit
your
head?
First,
your
shoulder.
Do
you
break
a
kneecap?
What
happens
if
you
jump
off
the
car
and
we're
right?
We
only
had
a
couple
miles
to
go
and
the
guy
says
he
goes.
He
he
smiles
and
he
goes.
You
know
at
one
point.
You
left
the
bar
and
you
left
your
beer
on
the
bar.
J
J
J
J
You're
not
the
only
funny
one
around
here,
I
kept
driving
we'll
get
to
the
port,
get
out
of
the
car
got
out,
and
he
says
you're
always
welcome
here
in
Ireland.
If
your
ship
comes
back
here
again
make
sure
you
come
back
to
the
bar
I'm,
always
there
I'll
give
you
a
ride.
Anytime,
you're
always
welcome.
Here
in
Ireland
I
got
out,
the
car
I
still
was
like.
J
G
A
It's
one
of
the
best
there
is
go,
see
him
in
the
nightclubs.
Listen
a
lot
of
the
jokes
we
told
here
today,
I
I
have
a
ton
of
jokes.
You
come
see.
My
11
pm
show
we'll
be
back
here
when
it's
dark
out
and
people
have
been
drinking
but
I
hope
you
had
a
good
time.
Another
round
of
applause
for
all
the
elected
officials.
A
And
for
all
of
you
and
I,
and
and
father
Joe
White
informed
me
Monsignor
canton's,
a
legend
at
Saint,
Peter's,
Lithuanian,
Church,
passed
away
in
his
his
memorial
will
be.
Tomorrow's
funeral
will
be
tomorrow.
So
for
those
of
you
who
won
senior
and
what
a
legend
he
was
here
in
in
salty
Boston.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
that
concludes
our
breakfast
I
wanted.
Our
lunch
I
want
to
thank
everybody
for
your
generosity,
Brielle,
amazing
stuff.
