how

we

should
think
about

to
prioritize
them
and

work

get

think
we
can

say
that
we
have
been
effective,
both
working
as
a
total
Council.
Our
total
committee
on
a
single
project

parking
program

just
did
and

think
years
ago,
before

the
committee,
when
the
committee
worked
on
the
Safe
Streets
to
school,
stay
walking,
routes
to
school,
I
mean
that
was
done
as
a
full
committee
project
and
I
think
that
was
very
effective
as
well.

same
time,
I
have
to
say
that
many
of
the
projects
that
we
worked
we
broke
apart
into
individual
groups,
two
or
three
people.
We
worked
on
shuttle
bus
routes.
We
worked

can't
remember
all
the
things
we've
worked
on,
but
many
of
those
were
very
effective
also,
and
we
did
get
a
lot
of
things
done.

think,
in
my
opinion,
the
the
key
factor
should
be.
Is
it
a
major,
large-scale
project
or

a
smaller
scale
project?
So,
for
instance,
the
parking
was
a
city-wide
potentially
controversial
issue
should
be
every
all
of
us
working

it
but
say
something
like
when
the
shuttle
buses,
which
is
a
smaller,
more
targeted
project
that
did
not
necessarily
need
everybody
working
on
it
sight
lines
was
another
project
that
was
broken
off
and
worked
on
by
a
couple
of
people.

walkways
the
stairways
up
and
down
I
think
we
were
effective
in
that
one
working
just
three
people
on
that
at
a
time,
so
I
get,
in
my
opinion,
I
think
it
it
really

it

if
it
is
a
major
project,
then
I
think
we
should
all
be
doing

smaller

just
in
the
bigger
picture.

it's
because

door

don't
know
the
the
bylaws
state
that
the
council
yeah,

big

the
chief
of
police
or
the
Public
Works
director
is
referring
items
to
the
committee.
So
what
we
have
on
this
list,
the

top
four
items,
the
top
four
items-
are
ones
that
were
on
the
work
plan
last
year
and
we
took
to
council
and
they
approved
because
I
don't
know
if
it
was
just
to
clarify
the
the
city
manager
wanted
to
clarify
that
all
the
council
knew
what
you
were
working
on,
not
just
the
Liaisons,
particularly
so
at
this
point,
we're
going
to
talk
with
the
Liaisons
about.

I
do
remember
from
in
the
past
meetings
with
our
Liaisons,
and
some
of
you
would
too
is
that
they
wanted
us
to
have
an
amount
of
work
that
we
could
accomplish,
not

things
on
a
work
plan
that

knew.

able

finish
in
a
year.

at
this
point
we've
got
what
we're

committee
is
interested
in
working
on,
but
we
do
need
to
sync
with
the
Liaisons
and
take
the
next
step
after

times
we
picked
were
coming

school
in
the
morning
seven

always
on
the
sidewalk.

think
it's
something
we

look

some

on

recommendation

could
pick

just

out

street

concern
is
to
Larry
Street.

looked
at
some
geometrics
to
create
a
way
for
emergency
vehicles
to
at
least
be
able
to
turn
around
at
the
end
of
the
street,
and
it
involved
the
use
of
private
property
like
someone
willing
to
hash
out
an
area
and
not
park
on
a
on
a
paved
area
on
private
property,
and
we
were
unsuccessful
in
getting
that
to
happen
at
the
time.
So
I
I,
don't
know.
If
there's
more
on
this
on
other
streets,
I
don't
know.
If
there's
more
that
we
can
do
on
Tulare
either.

maybe
a
question
mark
that
might
be
good
to
have
that
discussion

council
Liaisons

we've
got
this
plan
if
we
can
bring
it
forward

Tulare

concerns

bigger
picture

presentation

North,
County,
Fire
and
I.
Think
everybody
knows
for
that.
We're
in
a
joint
Powers
agreement
with
Daly
City
and
Pacifica
and
Brisbane
to
share
fire
emergency
response.

North
County
Fire
is
there
name
is
the
name
of
that
organization
and
they
taught
we
had
a
battalion
chief
talk
to
us
about
Zone
Haven.
So
it's
a
new
program
that
is
being
used
county-wide
to
be
able
to
alert
people
by
zones
about
how
to
evacuate,
because
there's
definite
concern
about
Wildland
fires
in
the
city
or
into
Central
Brisbane,
even
the
Northeast
Ridge.

So
there
may
be
information
that
we
can
get
about
that,
but
I
think
it
was
done
on
a
on
a
staff,
fire
Administration
level
to
set
out
these
zones
to
alert
people
if
and
how,
how
and
when
to
evacuate.
But
there
might
be
room
to
get
updates
on
that
or
we
might
who
knows
if
there's
feedback
from
fire
about
things
that
they
think
could
be
done
on
roadways
to
also
make
their
access
better.

evacuation.

working

to
that
bus,

and
so

don't
know
if
it's
something
we
can
work
with
SamTrans
or
San
Mateo
County
transportation
district
about
trying
to
move,
maybe
suggesting
them
to
move
that
bus
stop
to
be
in
an
area
that
is
closer
to
the
crosswalk.

people

prefers

side

the
slope

it's
not
that
wide
and
sidewalk
and
Ada,

they
need
a
certain
distance

they
probably
have

one,

kind

said
well
all

Brisbane,

they
said

kind

narrow
it
down
to
one
thing,

there

some
interest

wanted
to
mention
that
on
the
Westside
at
bwr,
in
Bayshore,
Southbound
I,
don't
know
if
there's
a
lot
of
movement,
but
there
had
been
a
plan,
an
application
put
in
to
put
in
a
Condo
building.

what
I
remember
about
this
is
that
we
looked
as
a
committee
when
we
were
doing
subcommittees
and
looking
at
a
bunch
of
different
areas.
We
looked
at
Mission
blue
at
Checker
spot
and
that
being
at
the
top
of
the
hill
on
what's
kind
of
what
the
North
End
of
mission,
Blue,
Drive
and
we've
had
complaints
over
the
years
about
pedestrians
feeling
safe,
Crossing
there
and
people
there's
there's
a
stop
sign
there
right.

people
speeding!
So
then
pedestrians,
not
knowing
when
they
had
enough
room
to
cross
and
we've
we've
made
some
improvements
and
done
some
traffic
calming
there.
We've
put
radar
signs,
we've
kind

narrowed
that,
but
at
the
time
we
also
collected
data
and
I
think
it
was
the
request
of
the
committee
further
down
on
Mission
blue
around
Monarch,
and
then
we
were
kind
of
directed
to
work
on
the
parking.
So
we
I
I
think
my
understanding
was.

studies
on
both
sides.

where
they
checked
the
speed
count
the
cars,
the
the
tubes
on
the
street.
They
did
that
both
ways
it
was
a
little
further
down,

Checker

city

install
calming
features
which
actually
caused
the
road
to
narrow
a
bit
as
you
get
to
that
intersection
and
and
I
think
this
is
just
anecdotal
opinion
on
my
part,
but
I
I
think
it
does
slow
down
cars.

Kobe,
pretty
much
out
of
sight,
you're
going
to
see
a
lot
of
activity
in
that
field
and
Mission
blues,
and
you

that's
gonna,
that's
gonna,
get
a
lot
of
traffic,

terms

people,

not
not
cars,
and
one
thing
I
was
wondering,
is
if
there's
a
way,
maybe
up
Tomas
could
give

different
tools
to
slow
or
like
a
manual
tools
to
slow
down
this
type
of
traffic
and
we're
going
to
get
to
another
one.

for
the

traffic

recommend

policy

example,
we
did
adopt
its
in
ordinance
about
speed
humps,
that
they
not
be
put
on
any
streets
that
are
greater
than
a
five
percent
slope
because
they're
dangerous.

the
policy
around

radar
signs
and
chicanes
and
narrowing,
and
all
of
that,
so
that
could
be

that's
a
reasonable
thing
for

guys
to
be
talking
about

but
having
that

don't
know
