program.

internship.

part-time
employee,

sort
of
mark
the
end
of
my
internship
we're
doing
and
now
that
we
are
three
months
past
the
reporting
deadline
for
the
building
efficiency
program.
I
So
part
of
the
ordinance
is
a
public
data
disclosure
piece,
so
we

developed
this
really
great
map
tool
that
is
publicly
available
on
the
city
website
at
the

listed
above,
it's
a
fully
interactive
map
tool.
So
I
encourage
you
all
to
take
a
look

we

compliance
with
our
building
stock
and
again
this

large
buildings
over

square

I
also
prepared
just
some
figures

show
you

an
idea
of
what
the
work
entailed
for
this.
So
again,
this
was
my
primary
job
responsibility.
I
downloaded
these
compliance
reports
that
building
managers
and
owners
submitted
many
many
times
multiple
times
per
week
and
sometimes
multiple
times
per
day.
I
This
these
figures
here
show
just
the
communication
piece
that
I
had
with
building
owners
and
property
managers,
so
300,
plus
outgoing
emails
only
and
70
plus
phone
calls,
and
again
this
is
reflective
of
just
my
work.
It's
not
reflective
of
adrian,
and
it
again
is
also
only
the
work
that
has
happened
since
may
2022.
I
Brisbane
is
kind
of
on
the
forefront
of
this
adrian
and
I
are
in
a
working
group
with
other
bay
area
cities
who
have
benchmarking
programs
and
we're
only
in
our
second
year
of
of
compliance
with
the
program,
and
this
is
the
first
year
that
we've
ever
sent
out
notices
of
violation.
So
just
an
indicator
of
that.
I
The
city
is
taking
this
really
seriously
and
again,
just
to
illustrate
that
this
program
has
taken
a
lot
of
work
and
continues
to
to
continue
to
unfold,
and
we
continue
to
prepare
for
the
next
phase.
We
over
the
course
of
my
internship.
We
also
worked
on
improving
overall
the
compliance
process
and
preparing
for
the
next
stage
of
the
program.

has

they

set

more
easily

request

nagging

behalf

friend

mine
who
has
an
electric
car
about
the
non-functioning
charger

brisbane
village
and
it
sounds
like
we're:
gonna
have
to
cough
up
some
money
to
get
it
fixed
or
even
replace
it.
It's
been
out
of
commission
now
for
two
months
and
I'm
guessing
that
the
charger
is
more
important
in
terms
of
emissions
reduction.

spending
bill.

pipelines
from
being
built,
it
doesn't
stop
leasing

fact

are

poison
pills

the

reduction
act
that

foster

opening

new
oil
leases

construction

features
were
put
in
place
to
please
joe
manchin.
Basically,
so
environmentalists
are
still
encouraging
the
president
to
declare
a
climate
emergency
because,

the,

we're
to
believe
the
center
on
biological
diversity
and
aaron,

ever
get
an
answer
from
them?.

for

thought
everyone
was

activists

biden

prohibit

bad
things

pressure

help
move
that
process
along,

was

thinking
when

suggested

emergency

hoping

more
from
the
group
that
drafted

report

they

kind
of
looking
at
what
that
delta
is
now
between
the
climate,
emergency
and
and
the
bill.

already
passed,

that
trying

attack

poison
pills
as
much
as

hate
them,

everything
a
little
harder,

subcommittee-
our
public
works
department
recently
submitted
a
grant
for
utility
ami
infrastructure,
automated
meter
infrastructure
for
the
water
system
and,
as
part
of
this
grant,
they
were
needed
to
calculate
a
reduction
in
total
water
demand
and
estimated
energy
savings.
So
they
brought
me
in
to
help
them
calculate
that
and
came.

our
total
water
demand
and
over
20
000
kilowatt
hour,
annual
energy
savings
largely
from
savings
from
pumping,
but
also
some
savings
from
you

eliminating
the
driving
of
doing
that
automated
doing

meter
reading

that
was
pretty
cool.

we'll

that
grant
and
be
able
to
move
that
