A

for
surgical
overdale.
Thank
you.
Mr
Speaker,
a
number
of
weeks
ago
I
had
the
opportunity
to
tour
City.
Dream
Center
I
had
met
with
the
founder
of
City
Dream
Center
Loretta
Hibbs
in
my
office,
a
few
weeks
prior
to
that
to
hear
the
dream
and
when
I
heard
that
I
knew
I
had
to
go
tour.
The
building
and
their
thrift
store.
A
A
Their
adopt-a-school
program
works
closely
with
local
schools
and
school
districts
to
provide
support
to
high
needs
schools,
including
food
security,
support,
3500,
Rap,
Christmas
gifts.
Every
year,
a
mobile
Dental
Care,
a
pre-teen
mentoring
programs,
helping
equip
at-risk
kids
against
gangs
and
traffickers,
hygiene
packs
for
grade
six
and
seven
students,
including
feminine
hygiene
products.
A
Some
of
these
kids
as
young
as
four
have
never
seen
a
dentist
in
their
entire
life,
and
these
mobile
units
will
reach
out
there
and
give
them
the
dental
care
that
they
need.
That's
there
looking
forward
to
the
dream,
they're
looking
at
low-income
families
who
are
struggling
to
pay
high
rent
and
food
costs
and
age
kids
out
of
foster
care.
Their
goal
is
to
provide
housing,
food
and
child
care
for
up
to
the
years,
while
assisting
them
to
complete
post-secondary
certificate
or
diploma
programs
that
will
improve
their
self-sus
sustainability.
