Description

If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
A
And
I
would
just
like
to
note
for
the
record
that
dr
french
is
absent
tonight,
she's
out
of
town
and
we'll
excuse
her
from
the
meeting
tonight
and
welcome
back
vice
chairman
travis
manning
from
being
away
for
a
little
bit.
So
at
this
time
I
would
like
to
ask
everyone
to
please
stand
for
the
pledge
of
allegiance.
A
A
All
right,
madam
clerk,
could
you
please
announce
the
board
meeting
agenda
postings.
B
Madam
chairpersina
and
trustees,
I
request
the
approval
of
the
board
of
trustees,
regular
board,
meeting
agenda
posting
for
monday
july
11
2022..
The
agenda
was
posted
on
friday
july,
8th
2022
at
4
35
p.m.
The
agenda
was
posted
at
these
locations,
the
school
district
website
and
the
caldwell
district
office.
B
C
A
Okay,
I
think
you
have
a
motion
I'd
like
to
ask
for
a
second
second
okay
motion
in
a
second
any
further
discussion
trustees,
hey
hearing,
none,
I
like
tests
for
vote,
all
those
in
favor,
please
say
aye
aye,
any
opposed,
nay,
okay.
Motion
carries
all
right
on
our
agenda
this
evening.
A
We
have,
let's
see
information
items
which,
at
this
time.
A
I
don't
think
we
have
any.
We
don't
have
yeah
a
superintendent
report.
We
don't
have
anything
for
surprises,
okay
and
then
the
next
item
on
our
agenda
is
the
patron
input.
Do
we
have
anything
nope?
We
don't
have
anything
on
the
patron
input.
Okay
and
so
next
on
the
agenda
is
our
consent
agenda,
so
trustees?
A
If
I
will
ask,
I
will
ask
you
to
approve
all
the
following
items
by
a
single
vote.
Unless
there
is
a
member
of
the
board,
who
would
like
to
have
an
item
be
removed
from
the
consent
agenda
to
be
considered
and
discussed?
Nextly.
So
is
everybody
okay
with
our
consent
agenda?
Does
anybody
need
anything.
D
A
So
then,
if
there
is,
if
we're
good
with
them,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
approve
the
consent
agenda.
A
A
Okay
hearing
none,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
vote
all
those
in
favor
of
approving
the
consent
agenda.
Please
say:
aye
aye,
any
opposed
name.
Okay
motion
carries
consent.
Agenda
has
been
approved,
okay.
So
the
next
item
on
our
agenda
is
our
plant
facility
report.
So,
mr
carrera,
if
you
would
like
to
come
up
and
present
the
plant
facility
report.
F
At
coldwell
high
school
we're
still
coordinating
the
work,
that's
to
be
done
for
the
stage
trying
to
coordinate
between
the
amount
of
time
that
we
have
to
get
the
work
done
and
the
events
we
have
coming
up
scheduled
to
be
refurnished
on
the
27th
29th
stairwells
in
progress,
and
also
it's
non-listed,
we're
getting
the
parking
lots
already
coded
and
striped,
as
of
today,
had
some
problems
last
week.
F
So
it's
stretched
over
to
this
week,
so
you'll
be
seeing
some
striping
and
some
seal
coating
going
on
right
now
we're
at
serena
the
science
classroom,
remaul
we're
working
diligently
getting
that
done.
We
worked
through
the
weekend
and
then
also
we
got
the
paint
started
over
the
weekend
and
we've
also
got
concrete
floors
being
polished.
As
of
today.
F
The
gym
floor
will
be
later
on
in
the
month,
as
well
as
jefferson's
jim
floor
lincoln.
I
met
with
the
abatement
or
the
exterminators
today
and
we're
working
on
getting
the
abatement
a
letter
found
up
and
getting
some
the
project
done
over.
E
F
Resurface
done
you
can
annually
semi-annually,
depending
on
the
use,
the
high
school,
the
main
ones
every
year,
but
the
elementaries
and
the
ox
gems
are
usually
done
every
other
year.
Okay,
so
it's
not
a
complete
sand
down
all
the
way
to
the
wood,
but
it
is
light
sand
and
finish
and
then,
if
it's
needed,
then
we
do
sand
it
all
the
way
down
and
address
the
stripe.
You
know
the
color
in
that
piece.
Okay,
all
right!
Thank
you.
F
Second,
julia,
the
the
caribbean
is
complete
on
that
one,
and
then
we
have
jefferson.
I
go
back
up
to
jefferson
started
with.
I
just
got
confirmation
that
we'll
be
able
to
do
that.
The
country's
time
to
get
the
stairs
just
replaced
over
there
towards
the
bus
lane
has
been
cracking
from
the
freezing,
so
we're
getting
ready
to
replace
all
those
ones.
F
That's
good!
Any
creek
we've
got
the
gems
complete,
but
we're
going
through
the
punch
flush
right
now.
Some
of
the
thresholds
I'm
having
them
redo
up
to
the
satisfaction,
so
we're
just
going
to
come
back
and
they'll
be
coming
in
what
happened?
Was
they
kind
of
scab
some
in
rather
than
using
the
whole
entire
piece?
So
they'll
be
doing
that
so
once
we
get
those
replaced,
they'll
be
complete
and
then
all
we'll
be
having
to
address.
Is
the
heating
and
further
discussion.
E
F
Lewis
and
clark,
we
just
got
confirmation
that
the
playground
has
been
accepted
and
it's
on
site.
So
they've
done
the
inventory
check
and
everything
looks
good,
so
they'll
be
meeting
next
week
sometime
to
go
over
the
plans
to
get
started
so
that
should
be
within
a
month
and
a
half.
They
should
hopefully
have
that
upping
up
and
active
for
the
kids.
F
That's
on
the
east
side
of
the
property.
So
if
you're
looking
to
go
on
the
left-hand
side
over,
oh
okay,
in
that
big
area,
where
it's
just
a
blank
kind
of
field,
then
what
we'll
do
is
right.
Where
there's
the
dumpsters
out
in
the
parking
lot,
we'll
run
a
chain-link
fence,
and
so
that
will
allow
them
to
have
that
separation
with
the
youngsters
versus
the
kids.
So
they'll
have
a
fence
separating
those
two,
oh
good.
Okay,
so
that
one's
scheduled
to
be
placed.
A
Is
that
playground
part
of
the,
because
I
know
you
typically
elementaries
will
split
like
the
the
younger,
the
younger
students
and
the
older
students
on
different
playgrounds.
So
is
the
new
equipment
for
like
the
younger
students
or
the
younger.
F
Students
plus
we'll
be
going
in
with
white
cap
and
that's
for
the
the
daycare
and
the
nursery.
So
that's
why
they're
that
one's
that
one's,
requiring
a
fence
being
the
main,
the
main
playground?
Okay
and
then
also
we're
doing
some
repairs
in
the
next
two
weeks
on
the.
A
A
Okay
and
next
on
our
agenda
is
the
cfo
we're
talking
about
cfo
financial
update.
Due
to
the
fourth
of
july
weekend,
we
cfo.
A
Financial
update
out
yet,
but
not
to
worry,
because
if
anybody
wants
to
look
at
that,
it
is
available
to
view
on
the
cfo
website
and
that's
a
cfeo.org
if
anybody
wants
to
look
at
that,
it's
for
all
patrons
everybody
to
be
able
to
be
out
on
the
website.
Okay,
so
spoke
to
miss
kathy
bennett
today
about
that,
so
she
clicked
right
now
and
then
the
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
the
cultural,
school
district,
calendar,
important
events
or
important
dates,
and
I
know
that
there's
that
is
just
for
information.
A
Only
it's
the
regular.
It's
been
posted,
but
we
just
leave
it
on
the
agenda
so
that
trustees
can
look
at
it
and
see
if
there's
just
to
be
a
first
of
what
events
are
coming
up.
So
that
is
on
there
and
then
let
me
see
we
have
next
on
our
agenda.
Is
the
caldwell
school
district
and
caldwell
transportation
proposed
contract,
so
miss
burton?
If
you
could
give
us
a
rundown,
yay,
big
binders,
microwave.
A
G
Will
be
coming
up
in
august,
so
we
can
go
straight
by
straight
turn
by
turn,
if
you'd
like
okay
happy
to
do
that
for
you
well,
as
you
know,
we
had
requested
we'd
sent
out
a
request
for
proposal
in
may,
asking
for
transportation
companies
to
bid
on
our
transportation
contract
and
we
complied
with
all
the
state
requirements.
G
The
number
of
times
we
had
to
post
the
item
in
the
paper
and,
as
you
know,
call
transportation-
was
the
only
bidder,
the
loan
bidder
and
the
board
agreed
to
accept
their
bid
and
part
of
the
process
before
we
can
enter
into
a
contract
with
any
contractor.
G
So
we
have
done
that
and
when
the
board
approved
accepting
the
request
for
proposal
and
impressing
their
bid,
you
had
voted
to
allow
me
to
negotiate
with
the
transportation
company
on
the
finer
points
of
the
contract
which
we
have
done.
We
submitted
that
to
the
state
department
as
well,
and
they
have
responded
saying
that
they
see
no
problems
with
our
contract.
It's
a
formality
and
they're
not
going
to
tell
us
that
it's
good
or
bad.
G
They
just
said
that
they
see
that
everything
looks
in
line,
and
so
this
has
been
out
available
for
you
to
review
for
a
while,
and
the
items
in
red
on
the
contract
are
the
items
that
we
change
and
negotiated.
G
It's
very
there's
very
little
to
be
negotiated
really
on
there
when
they
will
bill
us
when
we
will
pay
the
bill,
how
we
will
handle
non-school
days
because,
as
you
know,
since
2017,
when
we
had
the
snowmageddon
that's
when
it
really
started
with
with
bus
contra,
you
know
contract
services
and
school
districts.
We
were
out
for
a
lot
of
days
and
that's
when
the
conversation
really
started
about.
How
are
we
going
to
handle
this
right?
G
G
We
saw
a
lot
of
miss
days
so
now
we
there
is
an
a
section
in
place
of
the
contract
of
how
we
will
pay
them,
based
on
whatever,
whatever
we
have
agreed
to
do,
whether
we
we're
in
school
remote
if
they
keep
their
employees
employed
or
they
lay
their
employees
off
and
really
the
only
thing
that
we've
done
in
this
contract
has
put
into
place
what
we've
actually
been
doing
in
practice,
because
if
you'll
recall
back
in
november
of
2020
is
when
we
negotiated
a
payment
with
call
transportation
for
those
missed
days
in
between
march
and
may
of
2020,
when
we
were,
there
was
a
stay-at-home
order
in
place
in
the
states.
G
So
we
just
put
into
writing
that
and
if
called
transportation
keeps
their
employees
on
and
continues
to
pay
them,
we
will
pay
85
daily
rate.
If
they
actually
lay
their
employees
off,
then
we
will
pay
50
because
they
do
have
fixed
costs
ongoing
with
their
transportation,
and
that
was
the
agreement
that
we
have
made.
And
again
it's
just
it's
really
putting
in
writing
what
we've
been
doing.
Okay,
so,
and
really
there
is
not
much
in
here
except
for
billing
dates.
G
E
Just
real
quick
for
the
sake
of
patrons
who
may
have
heard
a
conversation
previously,
but
you
know
we
had
one.
Only
one
bid.
Can
you
talk
about
why
you
think
we
only
had
one
bid
and
how
that
process
works,
and
maybe
just
some
of
those
matter
so
that
the
public
is
aware.
I.
G
Can
only
thank
you,
I'm
sure,
christy
manning
I
can
only
surmise
as
to
why
we
only
had
one
bid.
I
think
what
we
know
is
some
of
the
local
contractors
had
had
some
difficulty
in
fulfilling
the
contracts
that
they
have
with
surrounding
school
districts,
because
there's
quite
a
few
of
us
who
contract
in
the
treasure
valley,
there's
only
a
couple
that
actually
have
their
own
transportation
department.
G
So
I
think
I'm
taking
on
one
more
district
might
have
been
a
challenge
for
them
because,
as
we're
all
still
fighting
for
the
same
employees,
we
also
have
a
staffing
issue.
I
believe
that
that
is
probably
what
they
looked
at.
I
can't
speak
to
that,
but
there
was
absolutely
no
interest
I
had
reached
out.
G
I
had
spoken
to
several
contractors
that
that
they
chose
not
to
bid,
but
we
have
to
buy
state
law,
put
the
contract
out
to
bid
and
we
we
could
have
decided
that
we
didn't
want
to
accept
this
contract,
but
I
don't
think
that
would
have
been
a
very
good
thing,
because
we
have
no
others
and
we.
F
G
G
Whenever
we
have
issues-
and
there
was
not
one
complaint
within
last
year
other
than
you
know
the
standard
type
things
they
did
not
miss
a
route,
they
did
not
miss
picking
up
our
kids,
taking
them
to
athletic
events,
and
that
just
was
not
the
case
with
many
of
the
local
transportation
companies
last
year
they
had
just
they
just
eliminated
routes
and
they
eliminated
athletic
busing
and
other
field
trip
blessings,
and
we
were
very
fortunate.
We
did
not
have
that
happening.
A
A
No
okay,
so
I
could
ask
for
a
motion
to
accept
to
accept
the
transportation
contract,
as
stated.
C
A
Okay,
I
have
a
motion
test
for
a
second
second
okay.
I
have
a
motion
in
a
second
further
discussion
trustees,
okay
hearing
none
I
like
to
call
for
a
vote.
All
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
opposed
nate
okay
motion
carries
thank
you
very
much,
okay
and
at
this
time,
we're
going
to
discuss
a
master
agreement.
So,
madam
chair,
at
this
time,
I
wish
to
recuse
myself
for
this
topic.
A
Okay
and
just
for
the
public
awareness,
trustee
butler
has
a
relative
who
works
for
the
school
district,
and
so
anything
that
has
to
do
with
personnel,
especially
the
master
contract.
He
does
recuse
himself
so
that
it
is
not
in
conflict
of
any
interest.
So,
okay,
so
at
this
time
miss
burton
or
no
miss
miss
lingan.
If
you
could,
please
could
you
please
give
us
a
brief,
a
brief
description
of
how
we
came
to
this
point
with
the
master
of
grief.
Yes,
madam.
D
Chair
christie's,
thank
you.
So
the
negotiation
team
had
a
10
member
panel.
We
started
meeting
in
may
for
several
weeks.
D
The
association
then
had
two
meetings,
two
informational
meetings
that
they
shared
with
their
members
and
then
through
the
association
it
went
for
votes
and
it
was
ratified
on
june
july,
9th
july
9th
and
president
davis
notified
us
of
that
collectively.
D
We
also
had
a
few
items
that
we
made
it
onto
the
parking
lot
that
we
both
felt
were
discussion,
items
that
for
a
little
more
time
and
detail
intensive
than
what
a
regular
process
of
the
negotiations
format
would
be,
and
so
we
do
have
a
couple
of
parking
lot
items
that
we'll
be
working
through
and
we
look
forward
working
on
through
the
22-23
school
year.
A
Yes,
that's
great.
I
was
fortunate
to
be
part
of
the
negotiations
team
and,
yes,
it
was
good
to
see
collaboration
between
the
two,
the
the
district
and
and
the
teachers
union,
so
that
was
really
cool.
It
was.
A
Good
effort,
we're
proud
of
our
teachers
and
those
that
represent
the
union
and
crowded
that
elton
proudly
a
lot
of
this.
Also
a
lot
of
the
the
conclusions
that
we
came
down
to
are
the
agreements
that
we
came
down
to.
E
A
All
our
personnel,
so
not
just
teachers,
but
also
those
that
are
our
classified
staff,
so
that.
F
A
Really
good,
I
I
enjoyed
the
collaboration
with
himself
all.
B
A
E
Briefly
about
why
you
know
we
do
this
every
year,
why
there's
a
negotiation
between
staff
and
the
district
and
and
then
also
the
term
what
parking
lot
means
so
in
case
the
public
may
not
be
familiar
with
that
sort
of
jargon.
D
Yeah,
thank
you,
ma'am
christie
manning.
You
know.
I
think
negotiations
in
and
of
itself
is
a
great
opportunity
to
come
together.
This
year
was
like
every
other
year.
I
think
where
were
I
don't
want
to
say
both
sides,
because
I
think
science
is
contradictory
to
the
collaborative
nature
that
we
focus
on.
E
D
The
association
represents
its
members,
their
certificated
membership,
and
it
gives
us
an
opportunity
to
learn
and
grow
from
each
other.
I
think
it
provides
this
opportunity
to
hear
hear
from
membership
and
hear
from
the
employees
of
cultural
school
district
about
what
they
live
on
the
daily.
You
know
we
love
and
support
every
single
one
of
them
that
work
in
public
school
districts.
D
We
also
don't
live
in
the
trench
with
them,
and
so
negotiations
is
a
formalized
process
of
you
know,
learning
what
their
needs
are
and
hopefully
coming
to
a
place
that
we
can
support
them.
D
As
far
as
a
parking
lot
agenda
item
goes,
one
particular
item
that
made
it
to
the
parking
lot
was
the
opportunity
for
employees
to
be
able
to
move
on
the
salary
schedule
that
currently
do
not,
and
so,
rather
than
either
push
through
the
process.
D
In
a
very
you
know,
quick
way
or
kind
of
get
mired
down
in
the
tediousness
of
details,
because
that's
a
big
deal
and
we
don't
want
to
screw
it
up.
We
put
it
on
the
parking
lot
agenda
with
a
mutual
agreement
that
we
would
get
together
through
the
course
of
next
year,
rather
than
in
a
few
months
at
the
end
of
the
year,
to
see
how
we
can
work
together
to
make
that
advantageous
for
those
employees
that
it
affects
trustee
manny.
E
Did
that
answer
your
question
yeah?
I
think
so.
The
parking
lot
term
means
like
okay,
it's
not
part
of
the
formal
discussion
area
process,
but
it's
a
sort
of
a
secondary
tertiary
process
that
will
still
continue
the
conversation
in
a
less
formal
way,
and
so
you
call
it
a
parking
lot
discussion
item
or
whatever.
D
A
Thank
you
and
if
I
may
add
correctly,
if
I'm
wrong
with
zion
and
miss
burton,
but
we
do
this
every
year
because
laws
change
every
year,
the
budget,
correct,
there's
different
different
funds
and-
and
you
know
last
couple
years-
we've
had
a
pandemic.
So
there's
different
funds
available
and
so
every
time
that
the
the
laws
change.
Then
we
have
to
kind
of
work
together
to
see
how
we're
going
to
use
those
funds
and
and
what's
the
most
beneficial
for
the
district.
So
that's
why
we
get
together
every
year,
mostly
every
year,
right
and.
G
Statute
does
require
that
we,
you
know,
meet
annually
for
negotiations
and
they're
in
public
they're,
a
public
meeting
so
anytime.
Anyone
wants
to
participate
to
look
at
to
listen,
not
to
participate,
but
at
least
it
is
negotiations
every
year
it's
just
available
and
now
with
zooming
people
can
just
you
know.
C
G
Their
desk,
yes,
exactly
so
there's
certain
things
that
go
into
place
and
we
can
only
negotiate
for
one
year
at
a
time
years
ago.
You
could
negotiate
for
multiple
years,
but
in
the
last
five
to
seven
years
I
could
tell
you
exactly
when
the
statute
changed,
but
you
can
only
negotiate
for
one
year
at
a
time
and
only
salary
and
benefits
is
typically
what
you're
negotiating
for
okay,
so
yeah.
We
do
this
every
year.
For
all
those
reasons,
yeah.
A
Exactly
thank
you.
Miss
berg.
Thank
you
very
much
wesleyan
for
your
explanation.
We
appreciate
it
okay,
so
if
there
let's
see
this
time,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
approve
the
master
agreement
for
the
2022-2023
year.
A
C
A
Okay
trustees,
as
you
all
should
know,
by
now
our
summer
board
retreat
is
going
to
be
on
july
25th
and
there's
actually
there's
a
theme
for
our
for
our
summer
board.
Retreat
and
you'll
know
all
about
that.
With
this
handy
book
that
that
miss
barbara
clark,
miss
keeley
team
is
gonna,
be
about
pictures.
B
Special
trustees,
I
got
the
opportunity
to
I
found
out
about
the
book
about
a
training.
I
had
a
clerk
training
in
february
and
then
dr
french
gave
me
the
opportunity-
and
mrs
lane
gave
me
the
opportunity
to
teach
it
at
summer
institute
and
it
is
making
the
ordinary
extraordinary
and
I
have
really
enjoyed
reading
and
actually
having
the
opportunity
to
teach
a
little
bit
about
it.
So
this
will
be
our
theme
and
I
will
do
a
little
teaching
on
our
retreat
as
well.
A
Be
awesome
and
exciting
how
passion
in
your
work
and
life
can
turn
the
ordinary
into
the
extraordinary
okay
great
and
it
is
a
national
bestseller.
So
yay
there,
you
go
all
right.
So
the
next
item
is
our
copied
school
operation
plan,
and
I
know
that
we
are
that
we
have
been
regulated
by
the
state
that
we
have
to
have
an
operation
plan,
and
so
I
know
that
that
as
soon
as
we
all
huddle
back
in
we're
going
to
start
working
on
that,
so
trustees
look
forward
to
that.
A
I
knew
kobe
plan
as
soon
as
we
get
back
going
back
into
school
before
school.
So
for
now
it's
just
information.
Only
adventure.
A
Well,
just
an
updated.
E
C
D
Yes,
ma'am
chair
trustee.
Currently
this
plan
is
for
our
2122
school
year,
so
I
do
believe
dr
french
has
mentioned
in
prior
board
meetings
that
we
will
take
a
look
at
our
current
operation
and
then
update
it
for
the
22-23
year.
Okay,.
F
A
All
right-
and
that
is
information
only
as
well
any
questions-
trustees,
no
okay,
all
right
and
at
this
time
does
anybody
have
any
future
agenda
items
that
they
would
like
to
request
to
be
added
to
to
our
agenda.
I
know
that
achilles
been
working
on
our
board.
Retreat
agenda
looks
packed
with
a
lot
of
good
information.
We're
going
to
have
some
amazing
speakers,
local
students
that
have
gone
through
our
school
system
graduated
and
are
now
leaders
in
the
community.
So
it's
going
to
be
a
nice
retreat.
We'll
have
a
lot
of
good
information.
F
A
Make
sure
that
you're
there
make
sure
that
you
answer
miss
chaney's
emails
or
texts
when
she
asks
for
different
or
she
has
questions
for
you
regarding
our
retreat?
Okay,
so
that
would
be
great
and
and
always,
if
there's
any
agenda,
anything
that
you
would
like
to
put
on
the
agenda,
all
you
have
to
do
is
get
a
hold
of
myself,
dr
french
keeley,
and
we
will
make
sure
that
we
get
it
on
the
agenda.
Okay,.
E
Don't
you
have
a
question?
Yes
with
regards
to
the
several
months
ago,
we
had
200
thousand
dollars
that
was
given
to
us
and
we
had
talked
about.
Maybe
setting
up,
you
know
a
foundation
or
a
501,
c3
or
c4,
or
how
to
use
those
funds,
and
I
know
those
funds
are
sitting
in
the
school
district
account.
E
G
Yes,
madam
chair
trustee
manning,
they
are
just
sitting
in
a
liability
account
until
we
decide
how
the
board
wants
to
use
those
funds.
So
they're
not
sitting
in
a
revenue
account
that's
available
to
spend
at
this
point,
they're,
just
just
waiting
for
us
to
decide
how
we
want
to
use
them.
A
So
we
didn't
figure
out
what
you
have
that
money.
Yes,
we
had
talked
about
creating
some
type
of
okay
yeah
if
we
could
add
it
to
our
agenda.
Okay.
Okay,
that's
great.
G
G
A
And
then,
I
think
we
also
if
we
could
put
it
on
the
agenda
to
speak
about
the
the
improvements
that
have
happened
with
the
boys
and
girls
club.
What
you
know
where
we're
at
with
the
agreement
that
we
had
with
them.
G
Sure
we
could
thank
you,
madam
charium.
We
have
not
moved
forward
yet
we
were
just
waiting
actually
with
summer
everything
getting
we
haven't
been
able
to
get
with
our
attorney
their
attorney
and
meet
with
them
their
potential
contractors
to
see
where
we
would
go.
So
I
would
imagine
that
will
probably
happen
in
august.
E
Think
of
I've
got
another
one
I
thought
is
with
caldwell
online
academy.
I
know
that
the
principal
for
the
couple
online
academy
was
accepted,
a
position
in
the
middle
or
one
of
our
middle
schools.
Yes,
and
did
we
do?
We
know
where
we're
going
with
caldwell
online
academy?
Is
that
gonna
carry
on?
Maybe
we
need
an
update
or
something
in
a
future
meeting?
Maybe
I
missed
it.
I
know
I
messaged
you.
G
Yeah
yeah
yeah,
I
think
I'll,
let
that
was
okay.
Miss
him
speak
to
that.
If
you
don't
mind,
I
mean
I'll.
B
A
G
A
What
is
the
timeline,
and
would
we
like
to
put
that
on?
Do
we
have
space
at
our
retreats
because
it's
pretty
packed?
Is
it
packed?
Okay,
just
people
just
add
a
day.
A
Okay,
just
a
really
quick,
okay,
five
minute
update;
okay,
that's
great
all
right:
okay,
any
anything
else
for
a
future
agenda
item
going
once
going
twice
and
that's
it.
Okay.
Our
next
item
is
our
policy,
development
and
adoption.
A
G
E
G
A
Thank
you.
So
if
you
remember
from
the
last
meeting
trustees,
those
that
were
here,
ms
burton
did
say
that
there
was
going
to
be
a
lot
of
policies
in
the
first
reading,
but
this
is
due
to
they
is
it
statutes?
It
tells
us
that
we
have
to
review
them
every
year,
federal.
G
Governments
thank
you,
managers,
the
federal
statute.
We
have
to
review
them
on
a
frequent
basis
and
most
of
these
really
they're
not
for
it's
probably
a
first
reading.
It's
just
making
sure
the
board
doesn't
have
any
questions
or
concerns
about
the
existing
policies.
You
know
if
the
district
were
going
to
make
a
change,
we
would
either
do
a
revision
or
we
would
bring
back
the
policy
again
truly
as
a
first
rating,
but
there
have
been
no
changes
to
the
policies
that
are
on
the
agenda
tonight.
G
It
was
just
more
of
letting
the
board
know
that
there
is
up
for
review
again
is
unless
you
have
comments
that
you
would
like
to
bring
to
my
attention
that
you
would
like
made
truly
tonight
for,
with
the
exception
of
a
leadership
premium
policy.
These
are
just
a
routine
review.
Federal
guidelines
are
different
or
more
stringent.
If
you
will
regarding
policies
that
pertain
to
federal
financial
management,
and
that's
what
these
are
all
involved
revolve
around.
In
2019,
we
came
to
the
board
because
there
had
been
new.
G
G
G
But
truly
these
are
just
financial
management
requirements
that
we
have
to
adhere
to
for
our
federal
grants
and
when
I
say
those
that's
talking
about
our
title,
one,
our
title
to
our
migrant
any
of
the
federal
funds,
and
especially
now
with
the
esser
funds
that
we
are
managing,
it's
very
prudent
that
we
just
review
and
make
sure
that
we're
following
our
guidance
for
managing
all
those
different
programs.
But
this
does
include
the
special
education
funds,
child
nutrition
funds
and,
again,
all
of
your
title
funds
that
we
have
okay.
G
B
G
This
was
a
policy
that
was
put
in
place
when
the
state
department
made
an
allocation
for
leadership
premiums
several
years
ago,
and
these
premiums
could
not
be
negotiated,
so
the
board
required
to
create
a
policy
in
how
we
would
use
these
funds,
and
that
is
what
the
policy
that's
been
in
place
for
several
years,
since
we
adopted
this
in
2017.,
but
for
the
22-23
school
year
our
leadership
funding
leadership,
premium
funding
from
the
state
was
discontinued,
they
eliminated
that
funding
and
they
put
those
funds
into
other
allocations
and
to
discretionary
funds
for
insurance.
G
G
C
A
A
okay
emotions
in
a
second
okay,
now
any
discussion
on
the
policies
I
know
most
of
them
are
for
review.
Only
there
has
been
no
changes
and
we
still
have
you
know
it
still
will
go
to
the
second
and
final
reading
that
we
can
still
review
if
you
want
to
review
it
more
closely.
Okay.
So
if
there's
no
discussion,
I'd
like
to
ask
for
a
vote,
all
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye,
any
opposed,
nay,
okay.
Motion
carries
all
right.
Thank
you
very
much.
G
So,
in
our
last
meeting
we
had
put
up
for
our
first
reading
policies,
2420
parent
and
family
engagement,
which
is
a
review
that
we
have
to
have
for
again
federal
guidelines
for
the
requirement
for
all
most
of
these
policies,
and
we
had
2420p
for
procedure.
Parent
and
family
engagement
guidelines.
F
G
Then
we
have
5440
school
holidays,
and
so
we
had
received
no
comment
on
any
of
these
policies
that
we
had
put
up
for
review,
so
we
are
asking
the
board
to
adopt
them
as
our
final
reading.
Okay,.
C
Motion
to
accept
and
approve
the
second
and
final
readings,
2420
2420p
and
5440.
perfect.
A
Okay,
thank
you.
I
have
a
motion
on
my
test
for
a
second
second
okay.
I
have
a
motion
in
a
second
any
further
discussion
trustees.
Okay,
hearing
none
I'd
like
to
ask
for
a
vote.
All
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye!
Can
you
oppose?
Nay,
all
right
motion
carries
all
right.
Thank
you,
miss
barton
for
your
help
with
the
absolute
policies
we.
A
E
A
So
next
on
the
agenda
is
this
information
only
remember
trustees
july
25th
is
our
summer
board
retreat
and
it
will
take
place
at
it?
Is
our
acti
center
correct?
Yes,
so
does
everybody
know
where
that's
at
no?
It's
on
the
corner
of
poplar,
it's
poplar
and
campbell
avenue,
and
for
those
who
have
been
here
for
a
long
time
it
used
to
be
the
old
health
and
welfare
building
way
back
in
the
day,
okay
and
springs,
and
it
was
canyon
springs
for
a
while.
It
was
night
scene
before
it
was
yeah.
A
Okay,
yes,
that
would
be
good,
okay
and
then
so
that's
and
then
plan
to
be
there
all
day.
Is
that
correct?
Yes,
okay!
So
it's
an
all
day
thing.
Let's
see
and
oh
my
gosh
we're
already
starting
with
the
first
day
of
school
august,
15.
B
A
F
A
Call
tonight,
rodeo
august
16
to
the
20th
and
it'll
be
a
good
time
for
everybody.
Last
hurrah
for
the
summer
before
we
start
school.
Well,
no,
it's
actually
after
during
school,
so
don't
stay
out
too
late,
and
then
we
just
want
to
let
everybody
know
november
9th
through
the
11th.
Is
the
isba
convention
