A
B
A
B
Okay,
so
Madam
clerk-
if
you
could
please
let
us
know
of
the
board
meeting
agenda
postings,
that.
C
Interprestina
and
trustees
that
request
the
approval
of
the
Board
of
Trustees,
regular
board
meeting
agenda
posting
for
Monday
August
14
2023.
The
agenda
was
posted
on
Friday
August
11
2023
at
3
50
PM,
the
Jenna
was
posted
at
these
locations,
the
school
district
website
and
the
Caldwell
District
office.
B
B
So
tonight
we
have
some
looks
like
we
have
superintendent
report,
so
Dr
French.
F
Thank
you,
madam
chair
and
trustee.
So
this
evening
we
have
a
special
guest
Nick
Mendez
is
here
and
if
you
may
recall,
Nick
was
invited
or
invited
to
participate
in
a
NASA
summer
experience
and
we
asked
Nick
to
come
and
give
a
report
to
the
board
on
how
that
went.
You
will
also
notice
in
your
in
your
agenda.
There
is
a
link
to
Nick's
team's
presentation
if
you
wanted
to
watch
that
presentation,
but
at
this
time
we'd
like
to
turn
some
time
over
to
to
share
his
Adventure
in
at
NASA,
come
on.
B
F
G
Hello,
thank
you,
madam
chair
trustees
and
Dr
French.
Well,
I
just
had.
G
Hello,
yeah,
okay,
I,
had
an
incredible
experience.
This
summer,
as
Dr
French
said,
I
was
able
to
participate
in
a
NASA
internship,
so
it
first
started
off
with
Joshua
Engler.
He
was
able
to
tell
me
about
this
internship
program
that
was
going
to
be
held
at
the
University
of
Texas
at
Austin.
G
He
gave
me
a
like
just
told
me
a
bit
of
advice
and
inspired
me
to
apply
to
it
so
I
kind
of
took
that
risk
and
I
decided
to
apply
to
it
and
to
my
like
appreciation,
they
accepted
me
into
it,
and
I
was
put
into
the
High
Altitude
Eclipse
ballooning
team.
So
before
the
internship
started,
which
started
on
July
8th,
they
made
me
do
a
few
learning
modules
before
so.
I
got
to
learn
about
climate
science,
just
a
general
astronomy.
G
Just
preparing
me
for
the
internship
I
even
got
to
work
a
little
bit
with
my
mentors.
They
were
both
from
Texas.
One
of
them
was
an
aerospace
engineering,
professor,
at
the
University
of
Texas
at
Austin,
so
that
was
really
cool
being
able
to
connect
with
them
and
then
I
also
got
to
meet
my
team
a
little
bit
before,
starting
once
I
was
able
to
go
to
campus.
They
flew
me
out
there.
All
of
the
expenses
for
this
internship
were
paid
for,
and
I
went
over
there
to
the
very
hot
Austin
Texas.
G
G
While
we
were
there,
but
most
of
the
time
there
was
spent
on
working
on
the
project
that
we're
working
on
so
like
I,
said
the
High
Altitude
Eclipse
ballooning
project
in
that
project
we
assembled
Electronics
made
a
box
and
the
whole
point
of
it
was
to
assemble
the
electronics
to
attach
to
a
balloon
that
we
would
send
up
to
the
atmosphere
all
the
way,
I
think
about
like
a
hundred
thousand
feet
in
the
air
to
study
the
atmosphere
during
an
eclipse.
G
So
we
were
able
to
assemble
those
Electronics,
do
a
test
launch
and
we
gave
all
the
electronics
to
our
professor
and
later
on,
during
the
school
year,
he's
going
to
work
with
his
college
students
on
actually
sending
those
Electronics
to
space
and
will
be
able
to
do
the
research
on
it.
We'll
have
the
October
14th
eclipse
and
then
we'll
have
the
April
8th
eclipse
going
on
I.
G
Think
one
of
the
greatest
Parts
about
this
whole
internship
experience
was
the
speakers
you're
able
to
have
so
we
were
able
to
hear
from
actual
NASA
experts,
professors
and
even
an
astronaut
Dan
Tanya
was
there,
so
he
was
able
to
serve
on
the
ISS
for
a
couple
months,
I
believe,
and
he
was
able
to
tell
us
about
his
experience
being
there
being
in
the
ISS
being
in
a
microgravity
environment.
It
was
really
inspiring
people
to
see
all
that
he's
doing.
G
In
his
background
and
just
learning
like
all
the
steps
it
took
to
get
there,
I
was
even
able
to
hear
from
the
owner
of
Twiggs
laboratory
Bob
Twiggs.
He
told
us
about
all
of
his
work
and
owning
a
laboratory,
and
the
funny
part
is
that
he
is
an
Idaho
native.
We
talked
to
him
he's
from
Blackfoot
Idaho
and
it
was
really
cool
being
able
to
connect
with
him
and
being
like
Oh
I'm
from
Caldwell
and
him
being
like.
Also,
my
family
lives
there,
so
that
was
really
cool.
G
Being
able
to
see
someone
from
this
community
in
Idaho
out
doing
all
those
amazing
things
and
I
think
something
I
really
noted
about
him
was
how
much
like
he
cared
for
like
a
youth
and
tried
to
inspire
them
by
simply
just
being
at
that
internship.
So
that
was
really
cool,
and
then
we
were
also
able
to
hear
from
the
other
speakers
and
I
was
able
to
kind
of
fine-tune
what
I
want
I
knew
going
into
this
internship
experience.
G
I
was
interested
in
aerospace,
engineering
stuff,
like
that,
but
I
was
able
to
see
what
exactly
we
could
do.
So
I
was
able
to
learn
about
stuff
like
planetary,
biology
and
space
defense,
so
looking
at
asteroids
in
space
and
trying
to
figure
out
ways
to
protect
us
from
them,
I
thought
those
are
really
cool
and
something
I
wanted
like
maybe
pursue
in
the
future.
G
We
were
also
able
to
have
a
bunch
of
other
amazing
experiences
like
touring
the
University
of
Texas
engineering
facility
and
I.
Think
one
of
the
most
notable
things
was
going
to
the
NASA
Space
Center
in
Houston.
That
was
an
incredible
experience
being
able
to
see
where
they
actually
work
and
do
experiments
being
able
to
see
myself
in
a
place
like
that
and
even
being
able
to
see
like
the
Saturn
V
rocket
ship
in
person.
It
was
kind
of
crazy
to
think
about,
like
that
actual
rocket
ship
was
right
there
in
front
of
me.
G
G
I
know
that
a
lot
of
my
team
was
from
Texas,
but
there
was
a
lot
of
people
from
New
York,
Virginia
Alabama,
and
it
was
really
nice
being
able
to
represent
Caldwell
itself.
I
always
made
sure
when
I
introduced
myself.
Yes,
I'm
from
Caldwell
Idaho
and
I
love
being
able
to
represent
my
community
in
those
spaces,
talk
to
people
about
them
and
then
also
just
knowing
that
my
community
had
my
back
during
every
every
bit
of
it.
And
thank
you
guys
for
your
support.
All
along
as
well.
E
A
just
a
quick,
One
Mentor,
what
age
groups
were
were
were
represented
in
this.
Was
it
just
yeah
your
class.
G
They
did
allow
an
opportunity
for
us
to
do
microgravity
research,
so
I
was
able
to
work
on
a
research
proposal
to
hopefully
be
able
to
be
accepted
and
if
I
was
accepted,
I
could
go
on
a
microgravity
flight
to
go
up
very
high
in
the
atmosphere,
maybe
not
space,
but
go
up.
The.
G
Kind
of
yeah
around
then
yeah,
of
course,
but
I
think
another
cool
thing
we
were
able
to
do
there
was
we
had
alumni
speakers
there
to
be
able
to
see
what
all
the
work
that
people
that
did
the
exact
internship
program
are
now
doing.
They're
studying
at
top
universities
working
in
research
Labs
at
Nasa
and
I,
really
think
if
they
could
do
it,
I
could
do
it
too.
Now.
C
A
G
It
was
a
hundred
total
I,
think
I
think
it
was
like
96
exactly
in
my
group.
It
was
eight
of
us,
but
I
know
some
of
the
teams
range
from
six
to
ten
people,
so
they
try
to
keep
it
around.
That
range.
J
A
G
Think
there
was
a
bit
of
a
majority
of
women
in
there,
so
I
think
it
was
like
just
from
like
what
I
knew
I
think
it
would
be
like
around
like
60
40,
but
it
was
really
I.
Think
like
geographically
speaking,
a
lot
of
the
people
were
from
Texas,
but
there
were
other
like
it
was
represented
from
everywhere.
The
people
from
the
Northeast
from
places
like
California,
even
like
other
I,
guess
tiny
States,
like
Indiana
and
like
Oklahoma,
I,
think.
H
This
year,
so
is
there
an
opportunity
for
you
to
like
do
this
again?
Are
any
of
the
interns
repeat,
or
is
there
a
program
for
you
as
you
go
forward
with
your
studies
and
stuff
yeah.
A
G
B
B
Yeah,
that's
awesome,
so
any
other
comments,
anything
I.
H
I
just
hope
this
propels
you
forward
in
your
studies,
because
that's
an
amazing
opportunity
that
you
were
able
to
do,
and
not
only
geographically
going
someplace
as
as
far
away
as
Texas
and
being
at
the
University
and
being
at
Nasa
and
all
of
that.
But
the
people
you've
met
from
all
over
the
nation
and
it's
all
open
to
you.
It's.
H
B
G
Really
great
being
able
I
know
a
lot
of
stuff
I
learned
at
Caldwell,
the
math,
the
engineering,
the
science
I
use
a
lot
during
the
internship
program.
I
think
really
like
helped
me
just
like
be
ready
for
it,
but
then,
like
you,
said,
I
think
it's
really
going
to
propel
me
because
I
was
really
challenged
just
like
in
the
work
we're
doing
connecting
with
people.
I
think,
like
thought,
really
gives
me
like
the
next
leap
going
on
academically
and
then
with
a
career.
G
D
B
That's
cool
I
was
gonna,
ask
Mr
Engler,
could
you
come
up
and
just
tell
us
a
little
bit
about
you
know
how
the
the
program
works
or
how
you
were
able
to
find
something
like
that
or
just
just
a
little
bit.
You
know
just
slightly
proud.
D
Hi,
my
name
is
Josh
Engler
and
I
am
the
trio
Upward
Bound
teacher
at
Caldwell
High
School
Nick
is
one
of
my
students
incredibly
proud
to
get
to
hear
him
speak
so
eloquently
about
the
experience
that
he's
had.
D
I
actually
had
saw
a
post
for
the
application
on
the
state
department
of
education's
Instagram
page,
and
so
as
soon
as
I
saw
that
read
the
description.
I
thought
Nick
would
be
an
incredible
applicant
for
it,
and
so
it
encouraged
him
to
take
a
look
and
see
if
it
was
something
he
was
interested
in.
That's
great
yeah.
B
B
You,
sir,
for
and
do
you
speak
English,
sir?
Okay,
thank
you
for
your
support
of
this
amazing
kid.
You
know
it
a
lot
of
times.
We've
got
great
parents
behind
the
scenes,
and
so
we
appreciate
that
that
you
do
what
you
do
so
that
he
can
have
the
opportunities
that
he
has.
So
we
thank
you
for
that.
Sir
good
good
yeah,
you
should
be
yeah
he's
going
places
so
come
on
up
and
get
your
picture
tape
come
on
upstairs.
So
you
can
get
your
picture
taken
with
us.
A
A
B
F
Yeah,
that
is
so
Madam,
chair
and
trustees.
I
do
want
to
make
you
aware,
and
and
hopefully
we
can
get
John
halick
here
in
September,
but
our
very
own
John
halek
was
awarded
the
Idaho
High
School
Activities
Association
dick
fleshman
Memorial
award.
This
award
is
given
to
one
athletic
director
in
the
state
each
year
in
recognition
of
the
work
and
dedication
to
running
state
tournaments
for
the
ihsaa,
and
we
appreciate
John,
and
you
know
he
Caldwell
hosts
has
hosted
several
state
tournaments.
F
We
host
the
boys,
basketball,
1A
state
tournament,
we've
hosted
Soccer,
State
tournaments
so
and
John
does
an
excellent
job
and
yeah
I
I
think
this
is
well
deserved.
So
I
wanted
to
make
you
aware
of
that.
Also
this
last
week
we
had
our
new
teacher
orientation
on
last.
I
was
like
oh
my
word,
everything's
on.
F
Starts
in
like
tomorrow,
and
then
we
had
our
opening
meeting
and
I
had
it
I
think
the
new
teacher
went
really
well.
It
was
good
to
be
associating
with
our
new
teachers.
I
I
was
just
pleased
with
the
people
who
will
be
serving
the
children's
cocoa
they're.
They
were
they're
excited,
we're
excited
that
it's
just
real
and
then
the
opening
meeting
we
held
that
on
Thursday.
We
did
talk
a
lot
about
technology
and
artificial
intelligence
and
why
it
is
so
important
that
our
youth
are
literate,
that
they're
literate
in
math
science.
F
Reading
the
you
know,
technology
that
the
AI
I
want
to
say
the
AI
technology
that
how
quickly
that's
rapidly
developing
and
how
it's
changing
it
will
change
the
way
we
work.
So
that
was
the
focus
of
that
meeting.
We
do
have
Jessica
did
prepare
a
presentation,
it's
less
than
two
minutes,
I
believe
and
Mr
Shore.
Would
you
mind
just
clicking
on
that
link?
It
should
be
I.
I,
don't
know,
I've
had
some
issues
with
links
lately.
E
C
A
F
H
B
Thank
you,
Dr
French,
about
Mr,
Hallock
I,
just
wanted
to
say,
I've,
never
seen
him
in
a
suit
and
and
he
he
does
okay
in
a
suit
when
he
was
receiving
these
words.
No.
A
A
B
That's
great
that
we
can
be
of
service
for
yeah
to
the
for
the
rest
of
the
our
Treasure
Valley,
so
yeah,
if
you're
listening,
Mr,
Hallock,
good
job
and
okay,
anything
else,
yes
go
ahead.
I.
J
Had
a
quick
question:
Dr
French
some
questions
about
the
ihsaa
and
Caldwell
High
School,
whether
it's
going
to
go
up
to
5A,
whether
it's
going
to
stay
at
4A
I,
wonder
if
you
might
have
heard
of
that
briefly.
F
So
at
this
point
in
time
that
I
would
really
may
we
invite
Mr
hotline
here.
So
there's
changes
in
the
way
to
petition
Sports
that
it
will
be
changing
that
will
be
by
Sports.
So
it
can't
be
the
entire
School.
F
C
B
Awesome:
okay,
thank
you.
Any
other
questions
for
Dr
French,
no,
okay,
all
right
and
so
next
on
the
agenda
is
our
consent
agenda.
So
at
this
time,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
prove
all
the
all
of
the
following
items
by
a
single
vote
unless
there's
a
a
board
member
who
would
like
to
have
an
item
removed
from
the
consent
agenda
to
be
considered
and
discussed
right
after
so,
if
not,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
approve
all
the
items
on
the
agenda
on
the
content
agenda.
B
B
L
Their
trustees,
French
Dr
kernstead
school
starting
Wednesday,
so
it
seemed
like
summer,
went
by
very
quickly.
We
did
the
best
be
good.
As
far
as
getting
the
projects
done
at
the
high
school,
we
were
able
to
get
some
the
motors
and
the
the
get
cables
fixed
on
the
smoke
patches,
but
we're
still
waiting
for
the
gaskets
they're.
On
order,
we've
received
the
front
security
entry,
Festival
bid
back
so
I'll
be
reviewing
those
and
accepting
those
with
some
changes
to
some
other
con
contractors.
L
On
the
mids
surgeon,
Middle
School,
the
HVAC.
L
The
units
were
set,
the
ductwork's
being
made,
it
looks
like
it
will
be
within
the
next
two
weeks,
we'll
get
that
finalized
and
get
that
on
site,
but
the
units
have
been
set,
the
gas
has
been
ran,
so
shouldn't
be
much
longer
the
music
wire
the
roof.
We
proceed
that
we're
back
from
the
the
engineers
on
the
layout
that
we
need
to
put
the
units
on.
So
we
have
two
more
bids
to
get
and
then
we'll
be
getting
those
approved.
L
Lincoln
Elementary,
the
annex,
bathroom,
the
plumbing
project.
We've
got
everything
done
and
the
partitions
will
be
done
tomorrow
and
looks
like
we'll
be
complete
with
that,
so
the
main
roof
has
been
completed
and
the
canopy
is
almost
done.
We've
got
the
trim
around
and
just
have
some
wrapping
up
with
the
camera
and
the
the
lights
on
that
Indian
Creek
Academy,
the
HVAC,
the
it's
been
installed
and
we've
got
the.
F
Did
you
want
Caleb
to
move
your
slideshow
or
even
are
you
going
to
shut
up.
L
In
Van
Buren,
we've
got
to
restart
it
over
there,
we're
about
65
percent
complete,
so
we're
we're
on
our
way.
It's
still
scheduled
for
the
end
of
August
to
be
completed.
L
Jefferson
Middle
School,
we
haven't
received
all
those
Biz
back
as
well
and
we'll
be
reviewing
those
and
accepting
those
as
soon
as
possible.
The
gym
bathrooms
are
complete
and
then
at
Washington
Elementary
same
status
as
Van
Buren,
with
about
65
and
we'll
be
looking
to
finish
up
with
the
end
of
August.
Okay,
that
we
ended
up
taking
down
the
old
whiteboards
and
little
smart
boards
and
replacing
them
with
the
white,
which
is
new
whiteboards.
F
L
The
scenes
the
floor
we've
added
paint
these
partitions
will
be
going
in
tomorrow
over
at
Lincoln
we
went
ahead
and
redid
the
route
clean
up
the
tile
and
put
all
new
partitions.
In
there
Jefferson
Middle
we've
tore
out
the
floor.
We
had
to
review
the
drain
drain
lines
replace
the
seams.
We
switched
out
from
Individual
sinks
that
don't
stand
it
and
sat
on.
Oh
okay,
we
went
over
to
a
stainless
steel
sink
there
and
then
the
floor.
We
went
with
a
flight
epoxy.
L
Beige
back
units
over
here
at
Indian
Creek,
here's,
the
the
units
up
above
that
we've
installed,
and
this
is
Syringa
where
we've
dropped
the
two
units
for
the
gym
and
that's
once
we
get
the
ductwork
and
it
will
go
from
those
two
units
up
to
the
up
the
wall
up
to
those
that
space
there.
So
the
roof
we've
got
Lincoln,
we
did
the
upside.
This
is
the
canopy
where
we're
doing
doing
that,
and
then
that's
the
the
river.
That's
in
progress
right
now.
L
This
one
I
think
Van
Buren
or
Washington
November
they're,
okay,
identical
yeah,
so
oh
they're
about
the
same.
L
Was
coming
down,
new,
can
lights
and
be
adding
the
camera
and
then
running
instead
of
they
used
to
have
a
drain
that
used
to
come
out
here
and
come
right
down
into
this
area.
Under
this
block,
so
we'll
be
running
the
gutter
back
to
the
wall
and
running
it.
B
About
ahead
of
a
question
Bernie,
what
about
like
Canyon
Canyon
Springs,
do
we
have?
Is
there
anything
we're
working
on
there?
We
need
anything.
L
We
have
a
meeting
with
the
Architects
okay,
we'll
be
going
over
that
once
we
get
that
report
back
to
the
analysis.
L
We'll
be
looking
at
all
the
different
projects
that
to
be
done
are
not
to
be
done
by
your
choosing
to
kind
of
look
at
the
priority
of
the
setting
priorities
on
each
of
those
projects.
So,
okay,
some
of
the
other
ones
that
aren't
listed
here
right,
do
have
other
things
that
need
to
be
done,
but
have
to
prioritize
all
those
okay.
F
I'm
Madam,
chair
trustee,
so
if
you
recall,
we've
worked
with
design
West
to
do
a
audit
of
our
facilities,
which
will
be
a
a
much
deeper
conversation
about
the
needs,
as
you
as
Bernie
continually
reminds
us,
Kane
Springs
needs
that
needs
some
attention,
but
they
will
have
to
have
that
conversation
of
the
investment
into
the
facility
right.
E
I
got
a
couple
questions
well,
three.
So
the
first
one
you
said
soon
on
the
vestibu
vestibules.
Do
you
have
a
time
frame
on
that
or
I'd
really
love
to
see
those
when
they,
when
they
get
put
up.
L
Right
now,
the
the
time
frame
that
we're
waiting
for
is
once
we
we
accept
it.
Then
we
go
out
and
they
have
to
go
to
the
contractors
and
get
that
material
on
order.
So
there's
a
long
lead
time
on
those
storefronts
windows
or
doors.
So
that's
really
what's
going
to
determine
the
schedule,
so
we've
got
it
back
once
we
sign
the
the
approvals,
then
it
goes
back
out
to
the
contractor
to
go
ahead
and
get
those
subs
to
start
ordering
material
and
that's
really
going
to
set
the
pace
on
and.
E
The
next
one
was
window,
the
window
security
that
we
talked
about
before
that.
L
Grant
was
just
approved,
so
we've
got
the
verbal
from
the
state
back
that
that's
that's
been
accepted.
So
now
we're
just
waiting
for
the
paper
to
come
through
and
once
we
do
that,
then
I'll
go
ahead
and
schedule
the
window
film
contractor
to
start
doing
the
install
and.
E
L
F
Yeah
and
I
would
say
trustee
godina
that
it's
a
it's
called
the
ViewSonic.
So
it's
a
basically
a
very
large
computer
as
large
as
a
television
screen,
but
it
is
a
it's
a
computer.
It's.
B
B
If
we
wanted
to
see
I
didn't
know
Dr
French,
if
this
is
a
good
time
to
say,
but
I
know
the
reason
we
had
it
before
is
because
of
the
funds
that
that
you
know
that
we
had
in
in
conjunction
with
the
T-Mobile
funds,
but
now
that
I
don't
know
if
we
need
to
have
it
on
every
month.
Is
it.
F
Madam
chair
interesting
as
well
of
what
they
they're
letting
us
know.
Basically,
on
this
one,
you
can
see
the
payout
for
scholarships.
C
F
Just
keep
us
updated
on
okay
money,
that's
coming
in
and
then
how
they're
expending
that
they
we
have
invited
them
to
to
present
in
September
on
the
okay
amount
of
scholarships
that
were
presented
to
Caldwell
students
this
year,
so
we've
visited
with
Kathy
O'bannon
and
Chuck
Randolph
to
visit
with
you
and
okay.
It
was
significant.
It
was
over
seventy
thousand
dollars
that
cfeo
awarded
to
Caldwell
High,
School,
Caldwell
or
Canyon
Springs
students
this
year,
yeah.
B
That's
great
okay,
and
if
you
want
to
look
at
that
report
it
we
have
an
attachment
in
Fort
Doug,
so
you
could
also
go
to
cfel.org
and
look
at
that
as
well
the
financial
report,
and
then
we
have
our
Caldwell
School
District
calendar.
That
has
the
important
dates,
and
so
that's
on
board
docs
as
well.
So
we
wanted
to
make
sure
that
you
have
there
aware
that
their
every
regular
board
meeting
agenda
has
that
on
there.
B
So
if
anybody
needs
to
look
to
see
what's
coming
up,
you
can
go
to
into
the
board
docs
and
next
on
our
agenda.
We
have
a
patron
input.
So,
let's
see
patrons,
who
wish
to
have
input
at
the
meeting
must
sign
up
before
the
meeting.
If
you'd
like
to
provide
the
board
with
more
information
in
the
time
permits,
you
can
reduce
your
con.
Your
concerns
to
written
form
and
visit
the
school
board
public
comments
section
on
the
district
website.
Written
comments
of
us
include
your
name
address
and
telephone
number.
B
So
at
this
time,
if
we
have,
we
have
one
person
so
Nicole
treco.
If
you'd
like
to
come
up
and
and
share
with
us,
your
Patron
input.
M
Okay,
Madam
chair
trustees,
Dr
French
I'd,
like
to
speak
about
the
T-Mobile
funds.
The
last
time
I
was
able
to
listen
to
discussion.
A
lot
of
it
was
on
potential
scholarships,
and
but
I
would
like
to
encourage
you
to
use
those
funds
to
put
cameras
in
the
sped
classrooms.
Just
like
a
parent
asked
for
before
to
consider
that
as
part
of
it,
especially
I
was
looking
at
the
alternatively
prepared
teachers
or
paraprofessional.
Paraprofessionals.
Excuse
me
that
were
hired
just
on
this
last
Personnel
report
alone.
M
There
was
nine
on
that
list
that
were
alternatively
prepared,
and
there
was
nine
of
them
that
are
going
to
sped
classes
as
aides.
One
of
them
will
be
at
the
Wilson
Pre-K
and
two
will
be
at
my
daughter's
school
Washington,
as
I've
told
you
before,
she's
in
special
education,
so
I
care
a
lot
about
who's,
going
to
be
around
her
and
in
her
classes
and
on
the
new
hires
there's
also
one
for
Wilson
Pre-K
for
the
developmental
preschool
and
three
of
them
that
are
going
to
be
at
Washington.
M
So
all
together,
there's
going
to
be
five
brand
new,
said
teachers
paraprofessionals
at
my
daughter's
school,
who
already
was
mistreated,
while
in
Caldwell
school
by
by
some
of
this
program,
and
so
I
would
just
really
encourage,
maybe
to
use
some
of
those
funds
for
those,
especially
for
these
pre-ked
developmental
preschool
kids,
where
they
can't
even
speak
at
where
we
just
had
a
teacher
who
is
facing
litigation.
She's
lady
car
trial
coming
up
soon
for
the
way
she
treated
our
Pre-K,
developmentally
developmental,
preschool,
kids
and
so
I.
M
Just
really
hope
that
we
can
get
some
cameras,
at
least
in
those
and
I
would
like
to
see
them
in
some
of
the
other
sped
classrooms.
Just
so
kids
like
mine
and
all
those
little
children
could
be
protected
too
and
I'd
also
just
like
to
speak
quickly
towards
the
student
and
family
privacy
rights
policy.
I'm.
So
thankful
for
this
policy
and
I'd
also
ask
that
the
board
to
consider
taking
an
additional
step
with
surveys.
M
M
I
asked
for
a
copy
once
I
heard
that
from
her
of
the
student
survey,
just
so
I
could
see
what
was
on
there
and
was
told
by
miss
Cameron
and
also
Miss
Wilson
at
the
high
school
that
even
they
didn't
have
copies
of
this
survey,
so
they
couldn't.
Even
let
me
know
what
questions
were
on
it
because
they
hadn't
even
seen
the
survey
to
me.
That's
unacceptable.
My
students
shouldn't
be
forced
to
participate
in
a
survey
that
even
a
principal
hasn't
seen
it's
just
outside
coming
in
I
did
appreciate.
M
Miss
Cameron
made
lots
of
effort
to
try
to
find
for
me
what
was
on
there,
but
they
just
were
not
able
to
get
copies
of
that.
So
I
would
ask
as
a
board
that
we
would
that
you
guys
would
create
a
policy
that
states
that
no
surveys
could
be
given,
at
least
that
principal
should
have
seen
it
somebody's
looked
over
it
before
we're
asking
our
students
to
complete
this.
Thank
you.
Okay.
Thank.
B
F
You,
madam
chair,
so
this
has
come
up
before,
probably
now
for
the
last
couple
years.
So
let
me
just
give
a
background
on
the
T-Mobile
for
my
institutional
knowledge
back
in
the
90s
cfeo
and
the
Caldwell
School
District
work
together
and
we're
able
to
they
were
a
the
Caldwell
School
District
was
able
to
obtain
licenses
from
the
FCC.
F
The
licenses
were
then
rented
and
then
funds
from
those
FCC
licenses
were
that
that
funding
went
to
cfeo
to
help
with
scholarships,
and
that
was
the
partnership
that
we've
had
with
them
for
a
couple
a
couple
decades
right
then,
in
the
this
couple
years
ago,
T-Mobile
has
an
option
throughout
the
whole
time,
T-Mobile
had
an
option
it.
It
started,
Sprint
T-Mobile,
it
has
been
moved
around
a
little
bit
the
who
who
was
renting
or
owning
who
rented
those
FCC
licenses.
F
There
was
an
option
to
pay
out
and
T-Mobile
did
that
and
based
on
the
their
calculations
that
they
offered
to
pay
out
over
200
000
for
those
licenses.
The
money
was
offered
to
CFO
because
it
was
that
was
the
intent
of
that
those
funds
were.
It
was
to
go
to
cfeo,
but
there
was
concern
on
the
cfao's
part
that
that
might
create
a
concern
or
an
issue
for
the
district
for
two
hundred
thousand
dollars
to
come
to
the
district
and
then
go
to
cfeo.
F
So
since
that
time
we've
housed
in
an
account
we
haven't
touched,
that's
just
it's
there
and
we've
had
discussions
about.
Do
we?
How
do
we
use
those
funds
to
and
and
I
had
said
to
best
honor
the
purpose
of
the
funds,
which
was
you
know
like
the
scholarships
to
cfeo?
Or
what
does
that
look
like
we've
talked
about
501c3
we
did
in
look
into
that.
That
would
be
intensive
work
to
start
something,
and
actually
the
CFO
is
a
501c3
So
within
we
talked
about
other
means.
F
F
Was
we
had
to
talk
about
other
things,
so
we
put
it
on
the
agenda
this
evening,
so
the
board
can
have
a
discussion
about
those
funds
with
Sanderson
can
possibly
speak
to
them
as
well.
They're
they're,
just
they're
in
holding
and
they're
held
in
an
account
until
the
board
makes
a
decision
on
how
they
want
those
funds
used
or
what
they
would
like
to
see
done.
F
I
did
I
will
say
that
I
I
do
have
a
meeting
with
Kathy
O'bannon
and
Chuck
Randolph
and
they've
asked
to
meet
with
me.
I'm,
not
quite
sure
what
it
might
be
about.
I
didn't
ask
for
content,
but
I
thought
I
probably
should
let
you
know
that
and
I
think
that's
coming
up
in
the
next
week.
Awesome.
B
B
Oh
sorry,
we'll
open
it
up
to
the
board
for
discussion
and
I
know
that
we
have
it
under
information
and
action,
but
it
doesn't
necessarily
have
to
be
an
action
tonight
right.
We
can
just
discuss
on
what
what
your
suggestions
are?
What
you
like
to
see
done
with
these
with
these
funds,
so
I
know
that
I'll
just
start
a
little
bit.
I
know
that
we
had
spoken
that
if
we
were
to
do
it
for
like
one,
if
you
know
we
had
talked
about
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
Dr
French.
B
F
B
B
Like
a
board
scholarship,
okay
and
then
we
could,
you
know
we
could
set
on
what
we'd
like
to
see
the
recipients.
But
if
it
was
an
endowment,
we
don't
just
give
the
200
000
away,
it
would
be
whatever
money
was
raised.
While
it's
being
invested,
does
that
make
sense
and
then
we
could
always
have
like
I.
Don't
know
we
could
add
to
it.
Some
endowments
we'll
do
golf
tournaments
to
add
to
that
scholarship,
to
give
more
money
out
to
the
kids,
and
you
know
we
get
golf
tournaments,
I,
don't
know
thermography.
We.
F
F
F
B
H
Mine
is
more
of
a
question
because
so,
if
in
September,
the
two
folks
from
CFE
are
here,
would
that
be
an
appropriate
time
to
ask
them
regarding
what
are
the
parameters?
Because
we
might
be
thinking?
We
can
do
this
and
this
and
this
with
the
funds.
But
the
way
they're
set
up
originally
in
the
cfeo
is
that
what
we're
thinking
about
might
not
even
be
possible
right.
C
D
H
A
A
E
Yeah
I
think
the
investing
thing,
maybe
adding
more
to
it,
with
different
things
that
we
can
get
the
community
involved.
That's
that's
always
our
goal
is
to
by
Community
to
to
our
functions
and
having
a
golf
tournament
or
whatever
it
may
be.
I
mean
that's,
that's
all
what
I
could
think
of
both
top
of
my
head
just
a
golf
tournament
but
I'm
sure,
there's
other
things
that
we
can.
We
can
incorporate
with
the
schools
that
we
can.
A
B
You
yeah
Vice
chairmani.
What
are
your
thoughts.
B
Know
that,
like
the
Alvaro
scholarship,
the
Alvaro
boys
always
have
like
a
golf
tournament
for
theirs
and
I.
Think
it's
you
know,
because
you
could
I'm
thinking
you
could
get
whatever
you
know
because,
like
the
CFO
has
the
go-to
people,
you
know
that
they
always
get
every
year
and
then,
if
we
could
tap
on
to
different
people
in
the
community,
that
might
not
necessarily
offer
them
or
we
could
do
a
different
fundraiser.
J
B
Yeah
are
you
okay,
let's
hear
from
from
trustee
Butler.
I
Yeah
I
think
some
of
it's
still
unknown,
I'd
rather
kind
of
see
what
we
can
do
to
maximize
for
the
money.
I,
don't
think
we
need
to
set
up
a
scholarship
for
two
hundred
thousand
dollars,
but
maybe
if
we
take
some
as
a
seed
money,
you
know
whether
it's
and
that
would
be
questions
for
for
cfeo.
Maybe
we
could
set
it
up
through
them
that
they
take
care
of
it.
I
You
know
once
we
give
them
that
that
first
initial
payment,
but
then
yeah
there
may
be
things
around
the
district
that
could
be
done
with
some
of
the
other
money,
and
so
it's
it's
kind
of
finding
that
balance.
I
think
between
the
two.
I
You
know:
we've
we've
sat
in
here
and
we've
talked
about
magnet
schools
or
charter
school,
or
something
like
that,
and
that
might
be
that's
not
going
to
fund
everything,
but
that
might
be
it
enough
for
a
small
starter
for
that.
So
I
think
we
have
still
too
many
options
and
not
enough
Direction
I
guess
this
is
what
I'm
feeling
like
it's.
B
So
would
you
be
okay
that
we
invite,
when
we
invite
cfbo,
to
talk
about
the
scholarships
that
we're
given
to
our
kids,
to
possibly
ask
them?
Okay,
how
how
do
their
endowment
funds
work
out?
You.
B
F
Is
really
the
board
this
board
decision
to
you
know
to
learn
more
I
I,
just
working
with
Bernie
200
000,
it
sounds
it
can
go
quickly
in
a
district
of
our
size.
So
you
it's
like.
What
can
we
do,
that
we
get
the
longevity
out
of
it
and
there's
honor
to
what
it
was
meant
for
to
you
know
to
some
degree
I
agree
with
you
trustee
Butler
is
it
can?
Is
there
something
else
that
could
be
done?
Is
it
a
I'm
trying
to
think
what
a
magnet
score?
Is
it
building
up
a
program?
F
That
way?
Is
it
like
some
of
the
programs
like
CTE?
They
do
receive
Perkins
funding,
there's
additional
state
allocations,
so
they
are
receiving
funding.
Those
programs
can
be
very
sustainable,
but
it
is
that's
a
lot
and
I.
You
know
it's
like
in
your
hopes
and
dreams.
If
you
like
hear
a
board,
here's
some-
and
this
is
Cheryl's-
going
to
continue
Mrs
Anderson-
will
continue
to
monitor
it
in
the
account.
F
F
F
Keely
we
have
an
invitation,
has
gone
out
to
Chuck
Randolph
and
Kathy
O'bannon,
so
we
anticipate
them
being
here
in
September,
okay,
they
don't
I
mean
they
met.
We
I
ran
into
them.
They
were
you.
We
need
to
bring
those
posters
from
Caldwell
High.
They
have
done
some
framed,
I'll,
say
posters
of
former
or
former
graduates
of
Caldwell,
High
and
CFO
is
you
know
they
they've
done
an
excellent
job.
We
used
them
at
the
opening
meeting
and
so
I
had
run
into
them.
They
were
just
dropping
off
five
of
them.
F
There
we're
going
to
bring
over
you'll
be
impressed,
but
then
we
started
to
have
a
conversation
and
I
said.
Would
you
come
to
a
board
meeting
to
talk
about
the
scholarships
that
they
awarded
this
year?
That's
impressive
amount
and
it
goes
to
Caldwell
kids.
They
are
cultural
students.
They
have
to
be
in
the
Caldwell
School
District
to
receive
that
scholarship.
So,
okay.
B
A
I
Madam,
chair,
I,
guess:
I
have
a
question
comment,
so
I
think
you'd
mention
it
Dr
French
at
the
beginning
of
whether
the
board
sponsors
a
scholarship,
but
that
money
would
need
to
be
invested,
correct
to
be
able
to
make
it
recurring
and
and
I.
Don't
know
that
the
district
would
want
to
take
on
that
responsibility
or
I.
Guess
that's
more
of
a
question.
That's
I!
Guess
that's
why
we
keep
thinking
about
offering
some
kind
of
seed
money
or
something
to
CFO,
so
that
they've
managed
that
money
rather
than
the
district.
E
K
Well,
I
would,
in
most
cases
like
the
patagon,
are
on
our
there's,
a
trust
set
up.
You
can
use
a
trustee
so
that
it's
an
arm's
length
from
us
as
a
district.
We
can
Define
the
terms
I
think
in
this
case,
where
the
interest
only
or
the
proceeds
from
the
trust
are
distributed
on
scholarships.
So
that's.
K
I
K
H
B
I
said
that
was
like
there's
all
these
scholarships
right
from
cfbo
and
and
some
of
them
are
you
know,
teachers
that
have
worked
in
the
in
the
district.
Some
of
them
are
classes,
and
it
said
the
class
of
83.
He
doesn't
have
a
scholarship,
but
we'll
we'll
talk
about
that
at
the.
B
But
so,
and
and
so
I
was
thinking,
this
could
be
labeled
as
such
and
then
we
would
be
part
of
like
the.
B
F
Madam
chair:
do
you
mind
Ascension,
if
you're
prepared,
could
you
speak
to
the
pat
O'connor,
or
can
you
speak
to
it
in
a
future
time?
So
I
don't
know
if
the
board
even
realizes
that
we
we
oversee
a
scholarship,
the
pat
O'connor
scholarship.
It
runs
through
Mrs
Anderson
works
with
that
yeah.
K
It's
been
said
it
for
quite
some
time.
It's
set
up
through
Wells,
Fargo
I
believe
is
the
trustee
they
disperse
interest
to
us,
and
then
we
offer
usually
it's
about
a
thousand
dollars
for
six
students
per
year.
K
I
mean
it's,
you
know
now
that
rates
are
coming
up
well
weeks,
I
think.
But
the
terms
of
the
trust
are
that
the
original
endowment
which
was
given
in
this
gentleman's
last
will
is
held
in
trust
and
the
proceeds
are
distributed
and
the
high
school
have
a
team
of
counselors
and
the
principal
that
award
this
scholarship
annually.
K
A
K
The
name
of
that
saw
the
patio
Bonner
Pat
O'connor
scholarship,
Trust.
A
K
A
H
If
you
look
through
the
scholarships
on
the
cfbo
papers,
there
is
not
one
for
class
of
83.
Is
that
what.
B
You're
saying
yeah,
no,
so
are
you?
Are
you.
H
There's
a
lot,
it's
really
interesting
to
see
what
some
of
these
funds
are
from
a
lot
of
active
people
in
our
community
yeah.
You.
B
A
B
A
N
N
So
we
have
kind
of
a
three-legged
stool
is
what
I
like
to
call
it
or
a
trifecta
internet
access
and
Internet
safety.
We
have
Internet,
which
gives
us
access
access
to
the
internet.
We
have
a
web
filter
which
filters
the
bad
stuff
from
getting
onto
the
students
devices.
N
We
have
a
firewall
which
is
kind
of
that
that
Gateway
for
people
from
the
outside,
getting
in
and
there's
some
features
for
getting
out
to
the
internet
as
well.
But
with
you
know
all
of
our
students
now
have
you
know
one-to-one
device.
It
is
very
important
for
us
to
keep
our
kids
safe.
N
So
we
have
two
of
those
services
that
are
e-rate
eligible,
meaning
that
we
get
money
from
the
FCC
we
apply
for
funds
and
internet
and
firewall
are
two
of
those
services
that
we
get
funding
for.
But
filtering
is
not
one
of
those
things
which
is
interesting
because
the
FCC
says
You
must
have
an
internet
filter,
but
they
don't
provide
any
mechanism
to
be
able
to
fund
us
for
purchasing
Services
of
Internet
filtering.
N
So
that's
what
we're
going
to
talk
about
tonight
is
the
actual
internet
filtering
and
and
how
that
works.
We
are
now
into
August
this.
Last
this
last
year
we
just
came
out
of
a
contract
which
is
a
we
had
a
bundled
service
which
bundled
our
internet
filter,
our
and
firewall.
N
N
N
So
we
had
three
bids
for
internet
filtering
content,
keeper,
line-wise
and
relay
so.
A
N
Is
the
light
speed
filter
the
one
that
won
our
bid
and
I'm
gonna
have
Andrew
talk
a
little
bit
about
what
that
looks
like
and
how
that
operates
on
our
Network
and
Andrew
is
one
of
our
assistant
admins,
and
he
is
very
good
with
keeping
our
kids
safe
and
he
has
that
frame
of
mind
that
if,
if
it's
bad
for
our
kids,
we
need
to
keep
it
out
of
our
Network.
So
Andrew.
O
24
7.
it's
on
every
Chromebook,
so
even
if
they
do
find
their
way
home,
they're
still
going
to
be
filtered
at
home
they're
on
all
of
our
desktop
computers,
our
staff
get
filtered
too.
We
try
and
keep
it
to
where
they
don't
accidentally
expose
the
children
to
something
that
they
are
not
supposed
to
be
exposed
to.
O
There
we
go
so
this
is
Justin
yeah
or
yesterday.
I
think
we.
O
Yeah
there
we
go
that'll,
give
us
some
more
metrics
about
what
we're
doing.
So.
It
tells
me
how
many
users
we
have
on
we're
expecting
like
what
5
500,
kids
and
700-ish
staff-
something
like
that.
So
these
are
some
of
the
numbers
that
we
use
for
troubleshooting.
If
I
noticed.
One
of
those
numbers
is
like
super
crazy.
Then
we're
like
all
right.
We
got
a
problem.
What
are
we
going
to
look
at?
O
We
can
see
what
what
they
are
so
like
right
now,
there's
only
a
little
bit
of
Chromebook
usage,
most
of
it's
windows.
It's
mainly
staff,
getting
ready
for
the
new
year
during
summer
school
it
was
like
90
Chromebooks
and
they
were
like
really
hammering
it.
They
were.
O
It
was
a
good
test
bed
for
how
it
works
with
our
kids
and-
and
we
didn't
really
have
any
trouble
with,
like
the
kids
on
it,
we're
still
working
out
some
of
the
Kings
with
the
staff,
but
and
as
we
go
through
like
we
can
see
like
the
top
blocks.
So,
like
the
stuff
that
we
see
up
there,
we
want
to
make
sure
that,
like
top
blocks,
isn't
going
to
be
like
something
like
really
bad.
O
This
stuff
is
like
just
ads
and
stuff
like
that,
and
and
as
teachers
have
stuff,
that's
like
actually
useful
and
maybe
categorized
incorrectly,
they
send
it
over
to
me.
We
get
it
unblocked
and
get
it
working
out
and
all
that
fun
stuff.
So
there's
a
way
like
if
something's
blocked
inappropriately,
then
we
can
put
it
into
a
category
where
they
can
still
gain
access
to
like
educational
resources.
O
O
Really
made
it
simple
like
when
we
looked
at
all
the
three
different
ones.
It
wasn't
just
like
a
price
thing
for
us
is
like:
what's
going
to
work
well
and
lights
being
just
like
take
every
box
all
the
way
down
line
wise,
didn't
it
like
came
back
more
expensive
and
it
didn't
feel
very
featured
content.
Keeper
was
wildly
expensive
and,
like
way
too
featured
it'd
be
like
driving
a
car
with
too
many
features.
O
I
just
you
know,
I
just
need
to
go
to
and
from
work
I,
don't
I,
don't
need
it
to
give
me
like
my
taxes
or
something
like
that
yeah.
So
in
here
we
can
see
before
safe
search,
Google,
safe
images,
that
sort
of.
L
O
Don't
turn
those
guys
on
the
social
media?
It's
one
of
the
FCC
guidelines
is,
like
you
know,
inappropriate
material,
no
gang
or
violence
paraphernalia.
O
Unmoderated
chat
room
stuff,
so
whenever
we
come
across
one
of
those
we
work
really
hard
to
block
it
so
yeah.
So
here's
like
this.
This
is
where
we
can
like
do
some
of
the
custom
stuff
so
like.
If
something
is
categorized
as
okay
and
it's
really
not
okay,
we
get
added
to
the
custom
block
for
the
teacher
like
a
loud
site.
This
is
showing
what
students
see
so
like
this.
The
district
allowed
is,
everybody
will
get
access
to
it.
The
like
teacher,
a
lot
of
stuff
only
teachers
can
have
access
to
it.
O
So
if
it's
one
of
those
things
that
Dr
Farrell
classifies
as
like
orange,
where
it's
like
teachers
only
then
we
put
it
into
that
group,
so
the
teachers
can
use
it.
Maybe
not.
The
kids
can
use
it.
So
it's
like
right
now.
The
debates
like
Wikipedia,
because.
O
Inappropriate
content
on
Wikipedia,
it's
a
great
learning
Source,
but
it
may
not.
It
shouldn't
be
your
like
primary
sources.
Anybody
can
edit
it.
So
it's
a
problem
of
like
integrity
and
stuff
like
that.
So
that's
what
we're
working
through
on
that!
That's
the
big
one!
Further
down
here.
O
We
have
like
the
all
the
like
super
bad
stuff:
drugs,
alcohol,
mature,
all
that
fun
stuff,
gambling
suspicious
stuff,
all
the
forums,
stuff
email
we
have
to
unblock
for
students
because
they
use
their
District
email
to
go
back
and
forth
that
sort
of
thing,
and
then
we
go
down
here
and
it's
here's
some
of
the
like
other
stuff,
that
you
don't
really
recognize
like
recognizing
day-to-day
use.
O
A
No
violence
unknown
stuff.
So
if
it's
not.
O
O
We
I
think
this
is
all
just
like
regular
normal
stuff
weapons
are
not
okay,
the
second
stuff
we
just
leave,
so
the
teachers
we
don't
want,
the
kids
get
into
it
on
their
own
plagiarism
is
definitely
not
okay,
so
there's
like
they
can
go
and
get
answers.
We
try
to
shut
that
down
and
just
all.
O
We
block
is,
we
need
to
keep
them
on
tasks,
but
you
know
there's
a
lot
of
different
things
that
go
into
web
filtering
and
this
list
is
curated
by
the
company
for
like
Nationwide,
so
school
districts
like
if,
if
we
can
re-categorize
stuff,
if
we
think
it's
inappropriate
like
directly
so
it
works
that
day,
but
we
also
submit
it
to
them.
They're
like
hey.
Can
you
go
through
this
and
see?
You
know?
O
Is
this
something
that
we
maybe
needs
to
be
re-categorized
so
that
it's
good
to
go
and
other
school
districts
don't
have
to
deal
with
the
same
indigestion
that
we
get
when
something
doesn't
work
so.
J
Particular
class
this
summer
from
NMU
about
Ai,
and
so
we
can
actually
like
I
explored
chat
gbt,
for
example,
just
to
sort
of
see
how
it
works
and
I
think
there's
a
potential
there
for
like
a
major
shift
in
education
like
as
Dr
French
was
talking
about.
Like
you
know,
maybe
it's
the
personal
computer.
There
was
a
big
shift
and
then
and
then
Along
Came,
the
internet,
there's
another
big
shift
and
with
AI
I
think
that's
another
big
shift.
That's
coming!
J
O
Think
you
are
entirely
right
that
we
are
sitting
on
the
precipice
where
it
can
be
a
enormously
powerful
tool,
but
with
something
with
that
much
power
comes
great
responsibility.
O
I
think
it
can
be
used
in
a
lot
of
Nefarious
ways
it
it's
something
that's
kind
of
terrifying
to
think
about
too,
but
like
we're,
gonna
encourage
our
staff
to
play
with
it,
but
we
still
have
a
block
for
students
because
it's
like
we
want
them
to
learn.
We
don't
want
the
AI
to
learn.
We
want,
you
know
they're,
it's
not
the
AI
strains,
so
I
think
it's
an
awesome
tool.
O
I
I'm
scared
to
see
where
it's
going
to
go
because
I'm
apprehensive
about
it
because,
like
like
you
said
the
the
push
as
the
internet.
I
grew
up
on
the
internet
and
watched
it
from
like
its
early
days
and
I
know
how
terrible
available
place
it
can
be,
and
you
know
we're
starting
to
hear
about
some
of
the
Terrible
Things
That
AI
can
do
so
it's
it's.
We
just
got
to
balance
out
the
safety
for
our
kiddos
and
I.
O
Think
staff
having
access
to
it
and
you
know
having
them
use
it
responsibly
to
like
hey,
can
can
you
type?
This
is
a
Kevin
Denton
at
westada.
He
uses
it
to
like
check
for
plagiarism.
It's
like
type
this
in
hey.
Have
you
seen
this
anywhere
because
we've
used
like
plagiarism
Checkers
before
that,
just
take
that
sentence
they're
like
bam,
find
it,
but
this
get
adds
another
layer
of
like
here's.
Where
they've
pulled
different
parts.
Did
they
cite
it
correctly?
O
You
know
where
are
they
getting
their
information
from
and
I
think
that's
really
cool
and
we've
used
it
in
our
office
a
little
bit
like
parsing
out
some
of
the
stuff
for
the
transition
to
PowerSchool
Dustin
did
an
amazing
job
with
that.
You
know
making
this
tool
work
for
him
and
work
for
us
and
saving
him
a
lot
of
time.
So
it's
it
can
be
a
whole
thing.
We
can
go
on
for
yeah.
O
G
O
Was
amazing
but
making
him
say
stuff
that
maybe
he
normally
wouldn't
say
or
like
when
stuff
that
people
wouldn't
say
like
for
you
guys
your
public
figures,
you
know
using
that
for
character,
assassination
and
stuff
like
that,
and
so
it's
is
it's
a
powerful
tool,
and
so
you
just
gotta
use
it
responsibly.
So.
N
I
got
something
for
you
is
blocking
it
for
students
and
staff
are
able
to
use
it
as
a
guided
tool
for
their
students.
I.
F
I
will
say:
Madam,
chair
and
trustees
that
the
policy
committee
is
reviewing
the
use
of
technology
and
we
having
Melissa
Pharaoh
Dr
Farrell's,
a
part
of
that
conversation.
How
do
we
best
move
forward
because
I
I
think
they're
they're
I
will
send
you
links
because
I
have
been
exploring
this
a
little,
maybe
too
much
on
my
free
time,
but
you
know
just
the
how
changing
the
agricultural
industry,
but
also
how
it
is
changing,
deep,
fake.
What's
real?
F
What's
I
think
there
I'll
send
you
the
60
Minute
story
when
they
thought
a
bomb
had
gone
off
at
the
Pentagon,
but
it
would
have
been
created
by
basically
artificial
intelligence
to
make
it
look
like
that
was
happening
and
it
wasn't
real,
but
it
was
on
social
media.
F
So
we'll
share
it
with
you,
but
we
are
including
Dr
Farrell,
because
there
are
some
great
things
like
you
can
create
a
lesson
plan
so
quickly.
So
if
you
need
a
lesson
plan
for
a
substitute
you're,
not
feeling
well,
you
can
generate
a
lesson
plan
so
that
that
individual
coming
in,
if
you're,
like
I'm
leaving
it's
10
in
the
morning
here
you
go.
This
is
something
we
can
do
right
and
then
editing
because
it's
it
it
does
not
have
your
voice.
J
J
A
E
Got
some
real,
quick
Andrew,
so
do
you
have
do
you
have
the
ability
to
remove
locations?
Is
that
is
that
a.
E
Well,
I
know
on
some
some
apps.
You
can
there's
a
location
that
somebody
could
find
you
is
there.
Is
there
anything
that
needs
locations
on
on
any
any
of
our
our
apps?
Don't.
N
O
There
there's
a
module
to
this
that'll
help
us
like
track
down
a
lost
Chromebook.
We
haven't
decided
if
we
want
to
use
it
yet
or
not.
Yeah.
A
O
Going
to
go
up
without
a
hitch
like
99
there,
but
now
we're
getting
into
like
exploring
the
extra
features
and
stuff
like
that.
B
Yeah,
so
so
we
have
sure.
Yes,
thank
you,
so
we
had
I
know
that
the
last
time
when
is
what
happens
Caleb
when
you're
not
here,
and
we
had
oh,
what's
gentleman's
name:
oh
yeah,
yeah,
yeah,.
A
B
And-
and
he
was
explaining
a
little
bit
because
the
question
had
been,
you
know-
are
our
kids,
you
know
the
Chromebooks
that
they
take
home.
Do
they
have
because
it
would,
it
was
brought
up,
like
you
know,
the
things
that
could
happen
like
The,
Tick,
Tock
and
the
bathroom
you
know
like
to
destroy
bathrooms
or
to
do
pranks
on
teachers,
and
things
like
that
and
a
lot
of
those
I
believe
were
probably
done
from
their
personal
cell
phones.
B
O
Yeah
so
that
falls
under
our
social
media
category.
That's
all
blocked,
Tick
Tock,
more
specifically,
is
blocked
from
the
state
level.
I
believe
yes,
so
we
followed
their
guidance.
We
block
kicked
off
for
like
anything
in
our
Network.
So
even
if
you
have
a
personal
device
and
you're
on
the
BYOD,
Tick
Tock
should
not
work
so
I.
Think
more
direct
question
is
that.
B
The
world
that
Chromebook
is
filtered
by
our
filter,
yeah,
okay,
okay,
perfect,
okay,
I
think
that
will
answer
the
question
that
was
asked
so
any
other
questions,
trustees.
B
B
Okay,
and
where
are
we
future
agenda
items
so
I
think
the
only
thing
that
we
had
was
just
to
ask
cfpl
to
come
in
trustee.
Do
you
have
any
anything
else
that
you'd
like
to
add
for
future
agenda
items
and,
as
always,
you
know
if
you
do
just
give
us
give
us
a
make
sure
that
you
call
either
Dr
French
or
I
or
with
two
trustees
you
could
get
together
and
let
us
know
yeah.
F
B
Okay,
oh
perfect,
okay,
all
right!
So
thank
you
very
much
and
then,
let's
see
so
now
we're
going
into
policy
development
adoption,
so
Dr
French.
F
Yes,
thank
you
so
request
to
rescind
policy
3030
exhibit
a
contract
for
dual
enrollment.
We
don't
we
don't
do
this
anymore.
We
through
IC
reports
and
our
submission
to
the
state,
although
dual
enrollment
may
be
challenging,
we
do
not
contract
with
other
districts
that
way
it's
taken
care
of
through
the
IC
uploads,
okay,.
B
B
All
right,
thank
you
very
much.
Okay,
I
have
a
motion
in
a
second
any
further
discussion,
which
is
okay,
all
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye,
any
opposing
a
all
right
motion
passes
all
right:
Dr
French.
F
Madam,
chair
and
first
reading
before
I
start
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
board
member
to
please
remove
policy
3500
student
health
screenings.
This
inadvertently
was
placed
on
first
reading
and
it
really
is
at
a
policy
committee
level.
It's
not
ready
to
be
to
be
reviewed.
E
B
B
F
Okay,
thank
you,
madam
chair,
so
what
we
have
you'll
notice
that
there
are
some
of
these
policies
that
have
were
on
for
first
reading.
Last
month,
our
administrators
asked
to
have
a
additional
time
to
review
them
and
provide
feedback,
so
we
discussed
them
at
our
opening
administrators
meeting,
and
so
they
have
been.
They
have
continued
to
be
on
first
reading.
F
Some
of
these.
This
includes
like
policy
2140,
the
student
and
family
privacy
rights
and
the
form
we
we
have
had
discussions
where
we're
still
continuing
those
discussions.
The
healthy
Idaho
healthy
youth
survey
was
one
that
has
come
up
that
we,
you
know,
want
to
make
sure
that
we
read
through
and
make
sure
that
parents
know
that
that
is
a
the
Idaho.
Healthy
youth
survey
is
something
that
we
do.
F
We
have
participated
in
and
they
do
ask
questions
about
drug
use,
tobacco
use,
sexual
activity,
possibly
I
think
it
is
pretty
detailed,
so
we
want
to
make
sure
that's
out
there
and
we
want
to
have
time
for
people
to
review
that
we've
also
included
to
this
evening.
There's
an
Idaho,
healthy
youth
survey
flyer.
So
people
can
so
parents
can
look
access
that
look
into
it
and
then
see
what
that
information
is
used
for
and
how
students
privacy
is
protected.
F
In
addition,
we
had
the
policy
2425
the
parental
rights.
These
were
revisions
due
to
the
changes
in
law.
We
left
that
on
again,
just
to
be
sure,
everyone
has
an
opportunity
to
read
through
that
and
give
input
that
it
also
includes
the
procedure
and
the
form
and
principal
said
also
asked
to
have
a
little
more
time
to
read
through
that
then
policy,
3010,
open
enrollment
and
the
policy.
F
Okay
and
then
policy
3518
treatment
of
opioid
overdoses,
which
is
something
we
felt
I
felt
needed
to
be
in
policy
that
you
last
year,
you
may
recall
that
there
was
several
concerns
about
overdose
and
we're
seeing
it
in
our
neighbor
in
Ontario.
Oregon
had
a
couple
incidents.
We
had
incidents
here
in
Caldwell,
not
a
necessarily
our
school,
but
in
our
community.
F
So
we,
our
sros,
were
carrying
narcane,
narcane
Arcane.
Sorry,
thank
you,
and
then
we
had
some
available
with
our
district
nurse
just
in
case,
but
this
is
a
policy
just
giving
we're
gonna
we'll
have
it.
We
have
it
on
site
in
case
it's
needed.
Okay,
that's
what
this
policy
is
in
reference.
E
E
L
F
Okay
and
then
our
district
nurses
provides
training
in
that
and
then
sros
are
also
trained.
Okay,.
B
Good
good,
all
right,
so
trustees,
if
you
have
any
questions
or
we
I
would
like
to
or
if
not
you
I
like
test
promotion
to
accept
the
first
reading
of
these
policies.
J
I'm
sure
I
moved.
We
accept
the
first
reading
for
the
following
policies:
policy,
2140
student
and
family
privacy,
rights,
2040,
2140f
student,
family
privacy
rates,
consent,
form
policy,
24,
25,
parental
rights
policy,
2425
P,
parental
rights
procedure,
healthy
2425,
F,
notification
of
changes
to
student,
health
or
well-being
policy,
3010,
open,
enrollments
policy,
30,
10,
P,
open
enrollment
procedures,
policy,
3518
treatment
of
opioid
overdose
is
that's.
It.
A
E
A
F
F
That
also
comes
with
a
forms:
F4
and
F5
anaphylactic
fact
sheet
and
protocol
and
opioid
overdose
fact
sheet,
and
then
we
also
have
policy
5740
the
procedure
reduction
in
force
procedures,
which
is
a
revision.
Okay,.
B
All
right
trustees,
if
we
are
good
I,
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
on
the
second
and
final
reading
of
the
aforementioned
policies.
I
B
I
have
a
motion
a
second
well
any
further
discussion
trustees,
okay,
hearing
none
I'll
ask
for
a
vote.
All
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
all
right!
Any
opposed
names!
All
right
motion
passes.
B
Okay,
and
at
this
time
let's
see
what
we
have.
We've
got
a
lot
of
stuff
coming
up,
so
yeah
we
have
freshman
orientation
will
be
on
the
15th,
which
is
tomorrow
at
Caldwell,
High
School,
yes,
and
that
is
freshman
orientation,
starts
at
eight
o'clock
right,
doctor
friend
or
seven.
B
Okay,
we
know
who
has,
we
know
who
has
High.
B
There's
yeah
there's
a
one
but
yeah
cougar
and
that's
for
students
who
would
like
to
learn
more
a
little
bit
more
about
Club
activities
and.
B
For
the
high
schools,
yeah,
okay
and
then
on,
the
16th
Wednesday
is
the
first
day
of
school
yay.
Let's
do
this,
and
then
we
have
this
week
starting
tomorrow.
Night
is
a
couple
night
rodeo
and
that
we
just
mentioned
that,
just
because
there
are
a
lot
of
Civic
organizations
that
are
out
there,
and
so
with.
E
That
I'm
sorry
is
Caldwell
Caldwell,
School
District,
having
a
day
for
breakfast
or
anything.
Are
you
guys,
volunteering.
F
Yeah,
so
what
the
chamber
we'll
serve
you
up,
first
Wednesday
at
six
Thirty
in
the
morning
and
then
Thursday
night,
we'll
help
Lions
Club
from
5
30
to
9
30.,
then
we're
also
supporting
the
Kiwanis
clubs,
so
they're
doing
the
corn
feed
this
year
before
the
rodeo
and
the
Chuck
Wagon
yes,
and
so,
if
you're
interested
in
ticket,
please
see
Jessica
and
then
we're
just
supporting
them
with
Manpower
and
trying
to
get
as
many
Caldwell
folks
there
to
have
dinner
with
the
Kiwanis.
So
we're
supporting
those
three
organizations.
Thank.
A
F
B
And
then
August
28th
will
be
our
board
work
session,
and
then
we
have
all
the
meet.
The
teacher
nights
which
are
listed
on
here
called
the
high
school.
Like
we
said
tomorrow,
night
five
to
seven
with
the
cougar
palooza
Canyon
Springs
High
School
back
to
school
night
is
on
Wednesday.
When
do
they
start
DR
French
their
first?
Well,
let's
see
their
back
to
school
was
August
30th.
B
A
B
Ringo
Middle
School
was
was
today
as
well:
4
30
to
6.
Lewis
and
Clark
Elementary
Meet,
the
Teacher
will
was
Monday
night,
oh
right
now,
yeah,
okay
and
Lincoln,
Elementary,
Sacagawea,
Washington
and
Wilson
are
all
Tuesday
night
and
wait
I'm.
Sorry,
oh
Washington
is
Monday
night.
Sorry
tonight,
yeah
and
the
rest
are
Tuesday
nights
so
go
take
your
children
meet
their
teachers,
find
out
sign
up
for
homo
mother.
Everybody
who
wants
to
bake
goodies
and
have
all
and
take
care
of
those
little
kids
help
take
them
up.
Oh.
B
B
B
It's
also
tomorrow,
okay,
so
Washington
was
the
only
one
that
straight
okay
and
Lewis
and
Clark
was
Monday.
Okay,
all
right
and
then
oh,
we
have
Washington
Wilson
Elementary
Meet
the
Teacher
tomorrow
and
then
last
names
are
a
through
M
five
through
six
and
the
same
n
through
Z
is
six
through
seven
we
got
it
