A
Hello
and
welcome
back
into
the
destination
education
Studio,
where
the
students
and
staff
are
the
stars.
Now
this
week
was
blizzard
week
at
Caldwell,
High
School,
which
got
off
to
a
quite
literal
start
now
this
week
resembles
homecoming
week,
but
for
the
winter
sports
students
were
able
to
dress
up
each
day
for
Spirit
Week.

Now,
an
essential
goal
of
the
Caldwell
school
district
is
to
improve
the
reading
outcomes
for
every
child.
The
district
believes
an
essential
element
to
improve.
Reading
is
phonemic
awareness.
This
is
essential
for
children
to
become
successful
readers,
spellers
and
writers.
Phonemic
awareness
is
oral
and
auditory,
and
the
focus
is
on
the
Sounds.
In
the
words.
A
Once
children
have
the
understanding
Educators,
have
them
isolate,
blend
segment
and
manipulate
those
sounds
these
phonemic
awareness
skills
are
necessary
to
becoming
a
proficient
and
fluent
reader.
Some
things
parents
can
do
to
help
children
build
their
phonemic.
Awareness
is
to
share
poetry
with
them.
This
is
a
natural
teaching
tool
that
is
enjoyable
for
everyone
now
make
sure
to
tune
in
next
week
to
see
where
the
highlights
will
take
me.
Thank
you
for
watching
and
have
a
great
week.
