Have
a
very
large
hispanic
population
and
I
think
a
lot
of
our
students
don't
feel
like
they
identify
with
some
of
the
extracurricular
activities
if
they're,
not
sports,
inclined
or
musically
inclined.
So
this
is
another
way
for
them
to
give
back
to
their
community
to
feel
engaged
to
feel
that
they're,
seen
and
recognized
and
accepted
in
our
area.

It
was
a
fantastic
opportunity
for
us
to
allow
our
students
to
actually
be
scientists,
rather
than
just
read
about
it
in
our
classroom.
So
we
were
able
to
take
a
lot
of
the
concepts
that
we
had
covered
over
the
last
two
to
three
years
in
the
advanced
science
programs
at
the
middle
schools
and
expand
them
outside
the
walls
of
the
classroom
into
a
very
authentic
experience
where
our
students
were
the
scientists.

Dr
farrow
would
like
to
thank
the
boise
state
trio
program
and
the
idaho
space
grant
consortium
for
helping
fund
this
trip
and
making
this
opportunity
possible.
Now
we
would
like
to
remind
you
that
there
will
be
no
school
on
friday
april
22nd
to
allow
for
april
break
regular
class
schedules
will
resume
on
monday
april.
25Th
now
make
sure
to
tune
in
next
week
to
see
where
the
highlights
will
take
me.
Thank
you
for
watching
and
have
a
great
week.
