Hello
and
welcome
back
to
another
destination
education
episode
where
the
students
and
staff
are
the
stars,
and
this
week's
episode
brings
me
here
to
the
caldwell
high
school
library.
Recently
the
library
was
gifted
up
cycle
benches
with
charging
stations
which
were
homemade
by
volunteers,
doug,
russell
and
james
greenbanal.
A
A
Miss
green
banal
says
it's
very
meaningful
when
community
members
give
their
time
and
expertise
to
support
our
students,
the
library
also
added
new
lights
to
their
comfy
corner,
allowing
the
space
to
feel
more.
Inviting
and
welcoming.
My
next
story
leads
me
to
our
school
lunch
heroes.
Our
child
nutrition
team
is
a
vital
part
to
the
school
day
each
day
they
prepare
and
serve
meals
for
over
5
500
students
across
the
10
schools
in
our
district.
C
Shortages
have
been
a
common
occurrence,
so
if
you
go
to
the
grocery
store,
just
imagine
that
times
10
for
food
service,
because
we
have
over
5
600
kids,
we
have
to
feed.
So
everything
is
just
amplified
and
what's
interesting
about
child
nutrition.
Is
that
we're
playing
you
know
eight
months
to
a
year
in
advance
because
we
have
everything
planned
the
year
prior,
what
we're
going
to
serve?
So,
if
we're
shorted
hot
dogs
that
day
that
not
only
impacts
us
that
day,
but
it
impacts
everything
else
that
we
plan
for
the
menu.
C
So
we've
really
had
to
be
flexible
and
adaptive
and
creative
in
ways
that
we're
going
to
service
our
students
and
provide
meals
that
they're
going
to
like.
So
our
staff
have
been
wonderful
and
they've,
been
really
great
to
pivot
and
adjust
as
needed
and
they're
all
well
versed
in
child
nutrition.
So
they've
been
able
to.
You
know,
change
their
menu
on
a
short
notice
and
they're
really
great
about
it
and
they're
able
to
just
pick
up
right
where
they
left
off,
like
nothing
ever
happened.
A
Our
kitchen
staff
proudly
known
as
lunch
ladies,
are
building
lasting
relationships
with
their
students
they
serve,
which
is
evident
by
the
excitement
and
joy
in
both
the
students
and
staff's
faces.
Thank
you
for
serving
the
students
of
the
caldwell
school
district
and,
lastly,
make
sure
to
mark
your
calendars.
For
friday
april,
29th
seringa
middle
school
will
be
hosting
their
seventh
annual
stem
fair
from
5
30
to
7
p.m.
