If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
C
C
A
That
brings
us
to
announcements
very
few
this
evening,
mr
garten.
Our
solicitor
has
joined
us
tonight,
so
we're
glad
to
have
mr
garton
here
for
the
remainder
of
the
meeting.
I
I
would
only
want
to
make
one
announcement
myself
and
that
is
to
congratulate
the
centennial
education
foundation
for
a
wonderful
fundraising
event.
They
held
last
week
a
golf
outing
at
spring
mill
country
club,
and
I
would
particularly
like
to
thank
two
william
tennant
students,
connor
service
and
sam
vernick.
A
They
are
members
of
the
william
tennant
golf
team
and
they
put
up
with
playing
with
me
and
dr
bedden
for
18
holes,
and
we
have
them
to
thank,
I
think
we
finished
a
little
bit
under
par,
but
those
two
gentlemen
are
only
going
to
be
in
11th
grade
moving
forward.
So
I
think
that
portends
great
things
for
the
william
tennant
golf
team
over
the
next
few
years.
So
it
was
a
wonderful
event.
I
think
they
had
great
attendance
and
they
raised
hopefully
a
fair
amount
of
money
for
that
afternoon.
A
E
We
have
two
academic
related
issues.
I'd
like
to
share
one
is
mr
martin
hayes
if
you
could
share
some
exciting
news,
as
we
have
tried
all
year
to
focus
on
our
student
outcomes
and
the
positives
that
are
happening,
and
then
we'd
like
to
update
the
board
on
our
academic
outcomes
with
our
final
local
level
assessment
results
for
this
school
year.
F
Thank
you,
dr
betten,
and
good
evening
to
all
of
our
board
members
and
everyone
here
tonight.
I'm
martin
hayes
the
principal
at
klinger
middle
school
and
just
want
to
share
some
great
news
about
a
group
of
students.
We
have
at
klinger
a
number
of
sixth
graders
that
were
interested
in
what
we're
doing
with
the
free
farmers
market
that
we
run
every
month
and
they
decided
to
get
involved
early
on
in
their
career
and
they
helped
us
sponsor
and
ran
a
few
great
events.
One
was
a
thanksgiving
food
drive.
F
They
have
called
nourishing
neighbors
explore
act
tell
so
they
explored
the
problem
in
our
community
of
one
in
nine
people
in
the
area
being
food
insecure,
they
decided
to
act
and
they
did
the
acts
that
I
just
shared
with
you
and
they
put
a
great
video
together
where
they
told
about
all
the
work
that
they
did
and
we
just
found
out
today.
They
were
awarded
a
five
thousand
dollar
grant
to
help
our
farmers
market.
E
As
you
know,
the
the
farmers
market,
as
he
mentioned,
but
to
directly
say,
helps
address
the
needs
of
food
hunger
within
our
community.
So
we
are
absolutely
proud
of
our
students
for
addressing
an
economic
and
equity
issue
within
for
resources
with
our
families
and
our
communities.
E
We
would
like
to
at
the
board's
indulgence
because
it
was
so
late
finding
out.
There
is
no
more
meeting,
but
we
did
not
want
to
leave
the
year
without
celebrating
those
students
in
an
announcement,
but
we
intend
to
if
the
board
is
okay
to
bring
them
at
the
september
meeting
to
recognize
them
as
well
as
recognize
the
grant
that
they
will
be
receiving.
E
G
Good
evening
everybody
I'm
joined
here
tonight
by
mr
joe
rutts
and
mr
ernie
ortiz,
as
we've
tried
to
make
a
semi-regular
part
of
our
board
meetings
over
the
past
two
years,
we're
going
to
continue
with
some
snapshots
of
where
we
are
in
terms
of
our
students,
academic
performance
and
growth
in
both
mathematics
and
reading
english
language
arts.
G
If
you
remember,
we
did
a
presentation,
I
think
was
back
in
february,
which
we
gave
some
updates
of
where
we
were
in
terms
of
our
pssas
and
keystones
from
the
year
prior,
as
well
as
where
we
were
locally
with
data
such
as
our
map
data,
our
measures
of
academic
progress,
our
ixl
data,
as
well
as
our
dynamic
indicators
and
basic
early
literacy.
Our
dibl's
results.
G
G
So
this
is
sort
of
the
second
check-in
from
actually
the
third,
as
we
did
open
the
year
with
a
little
bit
of
the
data,
but
really
trying
to
close
the
loop
on
where
we
are
at
this
point
in
the
year
to
understand
and
again
just
for
context
purposes,
really
think
about
what
we
are
recovering
from
here
in
centennial.
We
spent
a
lot
of
time
with
this
board
with
this
group,
with
our
staff.
G
All
publicly
available
on
the
website
was
our
executive
summary,
which
we
talked
about
a
lot
earlier
in
the
year
about
sort
of
the
challenges
we've
had
over
the
past
15
years
or
so
when
the
state
was
making
changes,
and
we
weren't
to
some
of
the
turnover
and
leadership
the
inconsistency
in
programming
across
buildings,
the
misalignment
of
resources.
We
had
a
lot
of
resources
up
until
recently
that
weren't
even
aligned
to
the
new
expectations
and
then
obviously
coveted
the
year
and
a
half.
We
battled
the
pandemic.
G
Really,
you
know
put
a
hardship
on
everybody
in
the
district,
I'm
not
going
to
spend
a
lot
of
time
on
the
slide.
But
you
know
what
came
out
of
all
of
this
is
is
the
same
message
we've
been
sharing
prior,
which
is
there
was
a
real
need
for
focus,
alignment,
consistency
and
support.
You
know
we
currently
sit
as
roughly
a
60
40
district,
proficient
or
advanced
versus
basic
below
basic
and
reading,
and
a
30-70
professional
advanced
versus
basic
or
below
basic
math.
G
So
we're
going
to
it's
going
to
take
some
time
to
catch
up
to
the
level
of
rigor
and
expectations
at
the
state
level,
because
we
just
got
into
the
game
a
year
or
two
ago,
but
the
so
that's
sort
of
like
the
part
of
the
presentation
right
like
yes,
we
still
are
battling
a
lot
of
years
of
turnover
and
misalignment
and
consistency,
but
we're
happy
to
say
that
in
the
past
two
years,
three,
two
to
three
years,
a
lot
of
the
systems
we
put
in
place.
G
H
Thank
you,
mr
gabriel.
Real
quick
before
turning
over
to
mr
ortiz
just
wanted
to
highlight
this
is
the
local
data
that
we
do
want
to
give
you
a
snapshot,
but
the
good
news
dibbles,
as
mr
gabriel
said,
dynamic
indicators
of
basic
early
literacy
skills.
We're
also
going
to
look
at
our
lexia
rapid
assessment
that
we
use
in
grades,
6,
7
and
8,
and
I
excel
math
that
we
use
in
k2
this
year,
mainly
for
tier
two
and
tier
three
intervention.
I
So
what
you
see
here-
and
I'm
not
going
to
read
this
entire
slide,
but
I'd
like
to
bring
your
attention
to
the
first
star
on
the
right
that
we
have
80
percent
of
our
kindergarteners
across
the
entire
district
meeting,
the
benchmark,
that's
expected
for
the
end
of
the
school
year,
which
is
a
testament
to
all
the
alignment.
Yep.
Let's
hear
it.
I
That's
a
testament
to
the
curriculum,
instruction
assessment
and
systems
that
we
have
in
place,
a
testament
to
the
teachers
and
all
the
support
that
we've
been
providing
them
through
coaching
professional
development
over
the
last
several
years,
something
to
keep
in
mind
a
message
that
I've
been
sharing
with
my
faculty
at
mcdonald
and
to
anyone
else
who
wants
to
hear
just
because
our
friends
that
are
in
kindergarten
weren't
in
school
during
covet
doesn't
mean
kobe,
didn't
impact
them,
and
yet
here
we
are
a
year
in
they're
on
benchmark,
which
is
awesome.
I
Now,
when
you
consider
first
grade,
let's,
let's
think
back
a
little
bit,
they
had
their
kindergarten
year
interrupted
in
a
way
where
they
had
a
variety
of
learning
models.
Yet,
at
the
end
of
first
grade,
we
still
have
70
percent
of
our
first
grade
students
on
meeting
benchmark.
We
talk
about
growth,
but
this
is
achievement
data.
I
This
is
our
students
performing
at
the
level
that
is
expected
of
them
by
the
end
of
first
grade,
which
is
fantastic
and
then,
with
regards
to
our
second
grade
cohort,
the
cohort
that's
been
impacted,
the
most
in
the
primary
grades.
They
didn't
have
a
kindergarten
year
that
was
finished
completely.
They
had
an
up
and
down
first
grade
year
in
terms
of
learning
models,
yet
we
still
have
65
percent
of
our
district.
H
Thank
you,
mr
ortiz.
Keeping
with
the
with
reading
the
rapid
assessment
is
a
digital
platform
that
we
use
in
grades,
six,
seven
and
eight
for
tier
two
tier
three
students
and
keeping
with
the
bar
graph
theme
we're
going
to
look
at
grades,
six,
seven
and
eight
in
two
categories.
H
H
We
in
all
the
bar
graphs
that
you
see
tonight
what
we're
trying
to
do,
keep
in
mind
we're
trying
to
move
from
the
left
to
the
right
trying
to
move
students
in
this
case
with
rapid
from
the
red
into
the
green,
which
is
at
or
near
grade
level
and
then
into
the
blue,
which
is
at
or
above
grade
level.
So
this
is
a
great
six
word
study.
You
can
see
the
great
gains
that
students
made
again.
This
is
from
fall
to
winter
to
spring
in
sixth
grade.
H
This
is
word
study,
and
this
is
the
great
growth
in
reading
comprehension
in
sixth
grade
again
we're
trying
to
move
from
students
from
left
to
right
here
with
the
color
bars
in
seventh
grade
again.
Word
study.
Moving
from
left
to
right,
you
can
see
great
growth
into
the
blue
and
you'll
you'll
notice.
The
numbers
drop
significantly
at
some
stage
in
the
blue.
This
is
word
study
for
seventh
grade.
H
The
last
one
we'll
highlight
tonight
is
I
excel.
Ixl
is
a
skills
practice
platform
that
we've
had
for
several
years
and
just
last
year
they
added
a
diagnostic
component.
So
we
wanted
to
take
advantage
of
that
because,
with
map
we
did
not
have
an
early
mathematics
diagnostic,
we
didn't
have
anything
k2.
It
only
picked
up
in
k3,
so
seeing
that
we
already
had
ixl,
we
wanted
to
get
return
on
investment,
so
we
test
drove
the
ixl
diagnostic
and
math
for
grades
k
through
two,
and
this
was
testing
all
students.
H
H
H
Curriculum
has
to
do
with
providing
professional
development
to
teachers,
resources
and
materials
that
we
need
assessment
tools
that
are
aligned
to
what's
going
on
in
the
classroom
and
systems
and
systems
does
include
people,
it's
not
just
academic
calendars
or
scheduling,
it's
also:
the
literacy,
coaches,
the
mathematic,
the
mathematics,
specialist
and
the
teachers
in
the
classroom.
I
just
want
to
emphasize
that.
D
E
Mr
president,
that
will
conclude
my
report
and
just
I'd
end
with
those
impressive
gains
believe
it
or
not.
We're
still
made
even
with
the
challenges
of
the
residual
effect,
because
the
pandemic
isn't
gone.
So
we
had
a
lot
of
in
and
out
with
staff
as
they
adhere
to
challenges
with
their
own
family
members
or
themselves
being
sick.
E
So
we
sometimes
wonder
how
much
more
we
could
have
done
with
more
stability
in
place,
but
I
think
that
goes
to
show
the
changes
that
are
being
made
and
making
sure
that
students
are
being
exposed
to
what
they're
supposed
to
know
and
be
able
to
do
prior
to
being
assessed
is
really
paying
off.
So
thank
you
to
everyone
and
entire
team
for
the
hard
work.
Thank
you.
A
Good
report
doc.
I
really
want
to
thank
dr
ortiz,
who
is
leaving
the
district.
We
appreciate
all
the
work
he
did
on
all
this
stuff.
We
will
miss
him
coming
to
the
meetings
and
his
excellent
presentations
always
upbeat
and
with
good
information
so
best
to
you
as
you
move
forward,
but
we
will
miss
you
in
this
school
district.
That's
for
sure,
so.
Thank
you
very
much,
dr
ortiz.
A
Moving
on,
we
have
public
comment
by
residents
on
agenda
items.
I
do
have
a
few
green
cards
for
this
evening,
so
we
will
move
through
this
keeping
in
mind,
there's
a
limit
of
three
minutes
per
presentation,
and
hopefully
it's
relating
to
something
that
is
one,
this
evening's
agenda,
in
the
order
that
I
have
them,
the
first
one
is
jacqueline,
falk,
werminster.
K
All
right,
hello,
thank
you
for
having
me
my
name
is
jacqueline
faulk
and
I
am
a
recent
graduate
of
william
tennant
high
school.
I
attended
leary,
willowdale
and
log
college,
so
I'm
no
stranger
to
centennial
school
district.
I
wanted
to
begin
again
by
thanking
you
for
the
opportunity
to
address
everyone
today.
You
will
once
again
review
a
policy
that
highlights
the
necessity
of
equity.
In
light
of
speaking
this
evening,
I
asked
my
sister
an
upcoming
8th
grader
at
log
college.
What
equity
means
to
her.
K
K
Equity
is
not
a
foreign
topic
to
any
of
us,
whether
we
know
it
or
not.
Women
people
of
color
senior
citizens,
those
who
are
financially
underprivileged
and
more
benefit
from
the
help
of
equity
every
day
in
our
district.
If
a
student
cannot
complete
their
times
tables
in
under
a
minute,
they
will
be
helped
specifically
in
multiplication.
K
It
is
not
a
cut
to
their
character
to
their
skills
or
their
happiness,
to
help
them
focus
on
the
areas
they
need.
Help
with
academic
equity
is
shown
through
students
being
placed
in
enrichment
courses.
Economic
equity
is
shown
through
the
klinger
food
pantry
and
the
free
and
reduced
meals
that
centennial
provides.
I
personally
participated
in
read
alouds
to
elementary
school
students
for
black
history
month
and
women's
history
month.
We
didn't
read
to
only
the
black
kids
or
the
girls.
K
We
opened
the
conversation
to
everyone
in
a
manner
in
which
everyone
would
benefit
helping
hands
like
these
ensure
that
all
of
us,
regardless
of
our
demographics,
have
fair
chances
to
exceed
honestly.
It
kind
of
confuses
me
when
there
are
altercations
over
whether
equity
should
be
included
in
school
policy,
because
we
already
show
compassion
for
others
in
school
using
equity.
This
equity
policy
would
be
a
written
oath
to
our
students
that
they
come
first
along
with
all
the
things
that
make
them
unique.
K
I
was
inclined
to
speak
today
because
using
my
voice
to
encourage
the
adoption
of
an
equity
policy
is
the
best
and
most
important
thing
I
can
do
as
a
sister,
a
resident
of
warminster
and
an
advocate
for
the
students
of
centennial
school
district.
If
I
leave
you
with
anything,
I'd
like
to
leave
you
with
the
fact
that
equity
is
not
two-dimensional,
equity
does
not
come
as
rewardingly,
undeserved
or
victimizing
others.
Equity
looks
like
giving
all
of
24
smiling
faces
in
an
elementary
school
classroom.
K
G
Hello,
thank
you
for
calling
me
up.
I'm
just
here
to
yield
my
time.
I
want
to
yield
it
to
jacqueline
miller,
so
she
can.
A
A
No
there's
no
provision.
H
A
L
A
A
M
Thank
you
for
letting
me
speak.
I
don't
think
I
owe
an
apology,
but
for
those
of
you
who
don't
know
me,
as
mr
martin
say,
that
I'm
mark
miller's
daughter
and
he
served
on
the
school
board
for
15
years
here
in
centennial,
and
he
was
an
advocate
for
equity.
This
was
his
policy.
M
This
was
something
he
worked
for,
and
this
was
something
I
joined
him
in
working
on
for
those
of
you
who
don't
know,
I
am
a
teacher,
I'm
a
proud
teacher
and
the
one
thing
that's
made
clear
to
me
over
my
15
years
as
an
educator
is
that
each
and
every
student
who
works
and
walks
into
my
classroom
needs
something
different
to
be
successful.
M
Education
isn't
one
size
fits
all,
and
thankfully
I've
worked
in
districts
that
understood
that
and
honestly,
I
thought
centennial
was
the
same
until
I
heard
some
of
the
comments
last
week
that
were
made
educational
equity
means
giving
children
what
they
need
to
be
successful.
It
might
be
an
iep
for
students
who
are
behind
or
have
a
disability.
M
It
might
be
a
gifted
program,
it
might
be
free
lunch,
these
factors
and
more
directly
impact
the
education
of
a
child
research
shows
that
students
need
to
have
their
basic
needs
met
in
order
to
learn
it's
that
simple.
The
bottom
line
is
voting
against.
This
policy
is
voting
against
vape
the
free
and
appropriate
education
for
every
student
within
the
school
district.
M
My
dad
would
always
send
me,
rita,
pearson's
ted
talk
in
that
she
said.
Every
child
deserves
a
champion,
an
adult
who
will
never
give
up
on
them,
who
understands
the
power
of
connection
and
insists
that
they
become
the
best
student.
They
can
possibly
be
be
the
champion
the
students
of
centennial
need.
M
A
L
Good
evening
my
name
is
amy
palazzi.
I
had
the
opportunity
to
review
the
dei
policy
prior
to
the
june
14th
board
meeting
as
part
of
the
parent
advisory
council.
I
was
able
to
view
not
only
the
policy
as
presented,
but
also
the
suggested
amendments
made
by
the
student
advisory
committee.
I
was
blown
away
by
their
well-thought-out
additions.
L
This
led
me
to
realize
that
when
it
comes
to
issues
of
diversity
and
equity
in
our
schools,
sometimes
the
youth
have
a
better
understanding
of
the
reality
that
they
are
living
than
we
do.
The
world
is
a
very
different
place
today
than
it
was
when
I
was
growing
up.
Our
schools
and
communities
are
much
more
diverse.
L
L
This
policy
does
not
take
away
from
anyone;
it
is
not
intended
to
make
things
harder.
It
is
there
to
remind
us
to
always
keep
in
mind
the
diverse
student
base
that
we
have
and
to
make
sure
no
barriers
are
in
place.
That
would
keep
any
student
from
achieving,
even
if
we
are
already
doing
our
best
to
ensure
equity.
It
does
not
mean
that
we
can't
put
into
writing
to
remind
us
to
continue
to
do
so.
L
L
Just
because
you
don't
experience
it
personally
doesn't
mean
it
isn't
happening.
This
is
when
listening
to
our
students
with
open
minds
is
so
important.
As
mr
sadaski
mentioned,
there
are
students
with
ieps
that
were
created
to
ensure
they
get
the
assistance
they
need
to
exceed.
Not
every
student
who
needs
a
little
extra
help.
Has
this
legal
document
to
protect
them.
This
is
why
we
have
policies
like
this.
If
we
are
already
doing
everything
proposing
the
policy,
that's
wonderful,
it
doesn't
mean
that
we
don't
need
this
to
hold
us
accountable
going
forward.
Thank
you.
A
P
Dr
ben,
you
were
offensive
when,
at
the
last
meeting
you
implied
that
disadvantaged
students
are
only
successful
if
they
get
the
right
teacher
by
chance,
you
marginalize
those
students
by
telling
them
it
wasn't
their
hard
work.
It
was
the
teacher,
if
that's
what
you
truly
believe,
are
you
planning
on
purging
out
teachers
who
don't
think?
Like
you,
you
know
the
inversion
of
inclusion
in
the
name
of
inclusion,
people
talk
and
teachers
are
leaving
due
to
their
workloads.
P
This
policy
will
add
even
more
to
their
plates
as
they
now
have
to
navigate
a
complicated
policy
that
has
nothing
to
do
with
raising
test
scores.
It's
your
grading
system
in
elementary
schools
that
encourages
students
to
be
complacent
about
their
grades.
Kids
lose
five
years
of
academic
accountability.
Ml
means
nothing
bring
back
letters
that
will
motivate
kids
to
actually
put
in
effort,
along
with
homework
that
keeps
parents
more
involved,
bring
back
the
honor
roll
with
incentives
and
watch
the
scores
go
up.
Why
did
dr
ben
himself
strongly
encourage
teachers
to
not
give
homework?
P
P
Not
everyone
gets
offended
by
the
same
things,
and
the
difference
is
the
amount
of
trauma
each
person
holds.
People
who
have
the
most
issues
with
the
outside
world
have
the
most
trauma:
heal
yourself
to
change
the
world.
Why
don't
you
ask
that
parents
meet
teachers
halfway?
Where
is
their
accountability?
You
can
give
a
child
in
a
wheelchair,
a
ramp
as
in
your
equity
picture,
but
it
is
the
responsibility
of
the
child
to
actually
use
it.
P
You
just
assume
that
they
will
the
difference
between
successful
people
and
those
who
are
not
is
their
inner
drive
combined
with
the
amount
of
unhealed
trauma,
help
children
heal
so
that
anything
micro
won't
affect
them.
Instead,
you
try
to
control
other
speech
which
will
further
divide
people
out
of
fear
of
offending
someone.
We
all
don't
want
that
as
long
as
the
person
has
the
best
intentions,
if
it
bothers
you,
that's
your
trauma.
At
the
same
time,
it's
important
for
both
sides
to
continue
to
better
themselves
and
understand
each
other.
P
Instead
of
being
separated
out
of
fear
of
offending
someone,
we
don't
see
physical
blocks
to
education
that
aren't
being
addressed.
If
there
are
blockages
that
are
out
of
the
child's
control,
absolutely
they
should
get
the
services
they
need.
We
see
a
lot
of
mental
blocks
that
you
are
not
addressing
at
all
listing
their
disadvantages.
Using
the
chart
of
intersectionality
will
not
inspire
them
and
will
only
make
them
feel
bad
about
themselves
telling
children
they
cannot
succeed
until
the
outside
world
changes
sets
them
up
for
failure.
P
Years
ago,
in
my
experience
with
8th
graders
in
a
much
poorer
neighborhood
in
north
philly,
I
saw
kids
show
up
serious
about
their
learning.
I
saw
them
work
so
hard
to
get
accepted
to
the
special
admit,
high
schools.
They
were
focused
on
their
dreams
to
be
doctors
and
scientists,
and
they
weren't
worried
about
what
anyone
thought
or
said
about
them.
The
work
starts
from
the
inside
out.
Throwing
six
figures
at
someone
to
make
yourself
feel
virtuous.
P
Won't
do
anything
until
these
kids
are
inspired
to
put
the
work
in
to
overcome
anything
and
inspiration
cannot
be
brought,
and
I
got
20
seconds
left.
What
can
I
fit
in
here?
We
all
want
kids
to
get
everything
that
they
need.
Nobody
is
is
advocating
against
that.
I
think
there's
just
a
difference
between
physical
blocks
and
and
mental
blocks,
and
I
think,
there's
a
lot
of
inner
work
that
needs
to
happen.
Thank
you.
E
Mr
president,
dr
ben,
I
I
do
want
to
the
board
should
have
received.
We
got
a
three-page
letter,
I
did
respond
and
include
all
the
board
members
and
go
on
record
I've.
Never
given
any
directive
about
homework,
so
I
don't
know
where
that
came
from,
but
I
did
include
that
in
the
response
that
the
board
has
thank.
A
N
Try
and
be
brief,
too
so.
Policy
is
what
everyone's
talking
about
tonight
and
I
just
had
some
pretty
simple
basic
questions.
So
I
know
that
in
some
areas
they
are
looking
at
equity
and
inclusion
in
getting
rid
of
gifted
programs,
and
I
just
wanted
to
hear
tonight
that
we're
not
going
to
do
that
in
centennial.
E
N
Are
we
going
to
then
put
everyone
in
the
program?
No
ma'am,
okay,
because
the
classrooms
are
just
overcrowded
now,
as
it
is
and
it'd
be
great.
If
we
could
do
something
about
that,
because
I
think
that
would
help
out
a
lot
having
30
4th
graders
in
a
classroom,
they're
not
going
to
be
achieving
as
well
as
they
could
be.
N
So
I
appreciate
your
answering
that
question
that
sets
my
heart
at
ease
and
just
to
touch
on
the
microaggression
thing.
Unintended
microaggressions
I
mean
I
feel
like
people
are
going
to
kind
of
run
away
with
that,
and
it's
just
going
to
be
a
you
know,
witch
hunt
and
he
said
she
said
and
so
intended
microaggressions
all
right.
You
know
we.
We
need
to
be
kind
to
one
another,
but
are
we
going
to
be
punishing
kids
for
accidentally
offending
somebody?
Q
Hello
members
of
the
board,
my
name
is
justin
glass,
I'm
from
southampton,
and
I'm
a
recent
graduate
of
william
tennant
high
school.
I've
come
here
today
to
give
my
support
to
the
equity
plan
and,
first
off
mainly
addressing
the
that
of
economic
equity.
This
plan,
that
is,
we
have
supported,
has
opened
up
many
opportunities,
including
the
prom
store,
providing
dresses
and
jewelry
to
those
of
lower
income,
along
with
the
klinger
farmers
market
that
I
myself
have
been
a
part
of,
as
well
as
clubs
for
underrepresented
students.
Q
In
that
moment
there
we
had
multiple
people
of
different
backgrounds,
some
of
which
I
I
relied
on
people
who
had
who
spoke
spanish,
to
help
communicate
in
purchasing
this
five
dollar
cd,
and
this
may
seem
like
a
little
dumb
kind
of
story,
but
it
touches
on
something
bigger.
We
were
all
brought
together
under
a
class
to
share
a
human
experience
where
we
could
use
our
different
backgrounds
and
explain
our
and
bond
over
one
similar
thing,
and
I
think
that's
important,
because
education
should
not
just
be
about
test
scores
or
numbers.
Q
So
I
have
a
call
to
action
to
promote
this
plan
and
have
all
of
you
in
favor
of
it,
of
all
the
students
that
have
come
up
here
and
spoke
on
the
equity
plan.
They
have
all
been
in
support
of
it.
We
are
the
people
that
go
through
these
schools,
I
have
been.
I
went
to
davis
klinger
and
went
through
tenet,
and
we
can
speak
truly
to
what
these
programs
mean
and
how
impactful
they
are
and
how
they
add
to
our
education.
Q
And
lastly,
as
I
already
mentioned,
this
is
a
human
experience
intertwined
with
education.
I'll
leave
you
for
quote,
I'm
not
sure
of
the
origins
of
it,
but
I
always
liked
it.
Experience
does
for
the
soul
what
education
does
for
the
mind
and
I
believe
that's
what
this
equity
plan
allows
for.
Thank
you
board.
A
Thank
you,
mr
glass,
and
thank
you
for
pointing
out
the
good
programs
we
already
have
here
at
the
centennial
and
william
tennant.
So
thank
you
very
much
for
speaking
with
that.
I
think
anybody
is
selling
client
and
wants
to
wait
till
the
end
of
meeting.
We
will
provide
a
second
round
if
anybody's
interested,
but
at
this
point
I
can
certainly
turn
the
program
over
agenda
over
to
mr
godickson
for
item
two
and
item
three,
mr
gavinson.
C
Okay,
thank
you
so
much.
Mr
morton.
The
first
item
we
have
is
the
approval
of
the
agenda,
so
be
it
result
that
the
centennial
school
district
board
of
school
directors
approves
the
june
28
2022
committee
of
the
whole
agenda.
Is
there
any
items
that
can
be
corrected
that
is
allowed
by
the
pa
law?
R
D
R
Yeah,
I
have
a
point
of
discussion
not
about
the
plan
itself.
I
like
the
plan,
it's
good,
I'm
just
referring
to
this
dear
colleague
letter
from
dr
damsker
that
we
all
have
in
front
of
us.
Dr
damskur
runs
the
bucks
county
department
of
health
and
we
collaborate
with
them
rather
extensively
on
our
plan,
and
I
actually
even
calls
it
out
in
our
plan
that
we
work
with
the
bucks
county
department
of
health.
R
So
I
am
making
a
motion
that
this
dear
colleague
letter
be
added
to
the
health
and
safety
plan
as
an
addendum,
since
we
rely
on
the
bucks
county
department
of
health
for
actions
related
to
covert
in
our
planner.
I
just
want
to
read
the
letter
into
the
record.
Please
do
it's
dated,
may
12
2022,
it
says.
Dear
colleagues,
please
accept
my
thanks
for
your
continued
partnership
in
supporting
the
public
health
needs
of
our
community
for
three
consecutive
academic
years.
R
R
This
leads
the
bucks
county
department
health
department
to
strongly
recommend
effective
immediately
that
all
school
entities
return
to
normal
operations,
both
for
the
remainder
of
the
2021-2022
school
year
and
the
upcoming
2022-2023
school
year.
Covet
infection
should
be
handled
similarly
to
other
conditions
in
existing
school
nursing
policies.
R
R
Bucks
county
health
department
will
continue
to
provide
assistance
and
advice
to
your
administrative
and
nursing
teams.
Please
do
not
hesitate
to
reach
out
if
you
have
any
questions
or
concerns.
Thank
you
for
all
that
you
have
done
and
continue
to
do
for
the
children
of
bucks
county
david
c
damsker
md,
mph,
director
of
bucks,
county
health
department,.
C
Thank
you
for
reading
that
into
the
records
any
further
discussion.
Yes,
sir.
E
Chairman,
I
would
recommend
we
not
do
that
and
that
we
follow
our
past
practice.
We
can
post
this
letter
like
we've
done
on
our
covet
site,
and
we
on
the
past
have
only
referenced
letters.
We've
never
included
a
cdc
letter,
a
pa
department
of
health
letter.
We've
only
referenced
them.
So
if
we're
going
to
do
this,
then
we
were
starting.
Why
we're
going
to
start,
including
all
those
letters?
E
E
E
I
have
a
there
is
a
section
that
thankfully
mr
gender
caught
and
did
what
is
the
best
practice
and
reached
out,
and
we
made
the
correction
and
we
formed
the
board.
I
can.
We
can
actually
do
we've
done
and
link
that
piece
back
to
this
letter,
like
we've
done
in
the
past,
so
that
it
actually
goes
directly
to
the
letter,
if
that
suffices
with
his
intent.
That.
D
R
D
E
E
Is
my
understanding
that
he's
reading
it
into
the
record
which
he
just
did
yeah
and
the
only
thing
we're
going
to
do
is
do
what
we've
done
in
the
past
and
I
will
tweak
the
health
and
safety
plan
to
create
the
link.
We
have
done
that.
That
goes
to
the
letter
in
a
section
that
referenced
the
bus
county
health
department
with
a
statement
from
this
letter.
Is
there
a
recommendation
for
private
so.
R
D
T
S
S
C
Into
that
item,
so
we
will
do
the
seven
items
that
we
have
left
now
and
then
we'll
do
the
last
two.
In
the
end
three
point:
three.
C
Put
well
I'm
free
three
point:
seven
now
and
three
point:
ten:
okay,
thank
you.
Okay,
it
resolved
at
the
centennial
school
district
board
of
school
directors,
3.2
authorizes
the
business
administrator
for
close
to

books.
C
C
It's
a
warning
on
the
board
of
school
directors,
subject
to
review
and
ratification
by
the
board
of
on
or
about
september,
13
22
and
directs
the
administration
to
proceed
with
preparing
for
the
necessary

for
the
fiscal
year.
2122
all
of
the
following
categories:
future
capital

other
post,
employment
benefits
and
retirement

C
Finally
authorizes
the

and
the

three
point:

as
per

and
then
3.9
at
points.
So
I
guess
we
need
some
names
here
to
be
announced
as
the
centennial
school
district
voting
delegates
for
the
psba
legislative
policy
council
meeting
on
saturday
november
5th
2022
as
per
attack.
So
we
need
three
names
to
get
added
to
3.9.
E
A
Thank
you
I
forget
who
they
were,
but
if
they
would,
we
need
three
volunteers
that
would
like
to
do
this
with
silent.
Burgers
sadowski
was
watching
with
a
second
and
looks
like
mrs.
A
They
win
by
default,
so
there
we
have
three,
that's
good
I'd.
Rather,
I
nominate
all
three
of
the
people
that
volunteered
for
this
fill
in
the
blanks
here,
mr
codex.
I'm.
C
E
T
C
J
C
I
do
have
a
question
myself
in
in
this
regard,
and
that
is,
I
know,
we're
kind
of
moving
to
the
psba's
method
or
from
for
formality
purposes,
but
in
terms
of
compensation
of
the
current
staff.
E
You
the
way
that
works
your
budget
approved.
If
I
think
I
understand
your
question
included
a
two
percent,
so
there's
two
percent
being
applied
to
this.
Instead
of
the
the
one
percent
is
what's
happening.
Any
individual
adjustments
will
be
brought
as
we're
finalized
to
the
board
for
approval
on
the
august
16th
meeting,
but
the
general
increase
that
was
approved.
Then
the
budget
was
two
percent
for
those
employees.
Okay,.
E
You
know
their
current
salaries,
yes,
so
two
percent.
So
if
I
was
making
two
dollars,
I
got
two
percent
increase
on
the
two
dollars.
What
was
approved
in
the
budget
process.
A
E
C
Last
item
on
the
new
business
3.10
approves
the
personnel
agenda,
including
non-renewal
of
contracts,
resignations
authorizations
to
employ
leaves
of
absence
chains
of
status
and
co-curricular
additions
as
per
attached.
Second,
second,
by
mrs
lynch
and
mrs
brancato,
you
had
some.
I
would
she
would
she.
T
C
Okay,
so
we
have,
the
initial
group
is
resignation,
authorization
to
employ
leaves
of
absence
chains
of
status
and
co-curricular
additions,
all
in
favor
aye,
aye,
aye
aye
any
opposed,
ms
abstentions,
as
is
nine.
Nothing,
and
the
last
item
that
we
have
under
this
item
is
the
non-renewal
of
contracts
all
in
favor.
O
S
D
U
Set
me
up,
mrs
lynch,
I
need
a
moment
to
gather
myself
here.
So
metro,
esports
is
the
presentation
for
this
evening.
U
So
I
open
with
a
quote
from
the
ceo
and
founder
of
metro,
esports
sean
berry,
it's
about
helping
remove
barriers
and
making
information
and
resources
available
to
curious
young
minds,
no
matter
their
background,
so
metro,
esports,
as
you
can
see
here,
is,
is
located
right
in
warminster
on
street
road.
U
They
offer
custom,
esports
event
management
as
well
as
custom
programming,
tech
based
consumer
resource
research
and
innovative
brand
integration
strategies.
Our
our
purpose,
in
partnering
with
them,
is
to
provide
our
students
with
the
opportunity
to
participate
in
an
esports
league,
for
those
who
are
unfamiliar
esports
is
something
that
we
used
to
refer
to
as
playing
video
games,
so
they
currently
have
a
partnership
agreement
right
now
with
the
central
bucks
school
district
and
offer
esports
leagues
for
their
students
as
well.
U
The
purpose
of
this
is
to
be
inclusive,
to
offer
additional
opportunities
for
students
who
are
so
inclined
to
be
connected
to
school
and
to
be
connected
to
other
students.
Their
central
location
within
our
school
district
is
is
very
helpful.
They
also
have
hubs
at
the
doylestown
ymca,
as
well
as
the
warminster
ymca,
so
they
have
plenty
of
locations
very
close
to
our
neighborhoods,
where
kids
would
have
the
opportunity
to
practice
and
participate
in
competitions.
U
Something
many
of
us
may
not
know,
and
I've
learned
recently
right
now.
There's
175
colleges
in
the
united
states
that
have
varsity
programs
for
esports
and
offer
scholarships
ranging
from
partial
to
full,
depending
upon
how
good
you
are
similar
to
traditional
sports
and
they
they
offer
the
opportunity
to
enrich
educational
experiences,
as
well
as
lead
students
down
the
path
of
technology,
education,
learning
about
programming
coding
and
game
design.
U
With
this
partnership,
our
students
would
have
opportunities
to
compete
in
esports
competitions,
they'd,
have
access
to
facilities
with
state-of-the-art
video
game
consoles
and
pcs
and
and
content
creation.
Suites
they'd
have
the
opportunity
to
participate
in
esports,
either
virtually
from
home
or
or
in
person
at
any
of
these
facilities,
depending
upon
their
comfort
level,
as
well
as
their
access
to
equipment,
and
it
also
also
offers
students
the
opportunities
to
create.
U
Just
as
any
other
competition,
there
are
tournaments
championships
and
opportunities
for
supporters
or
fans
to
watch
in
person
or
on
stream
casts
the
other
interesting
thing
about
metro,
esports
and,
and
our
centennial
education
foundation
is
is
interested
in
this
as
well
is
their
fundraising
opportunities
and
they
offer
three
different
types
of
fundraising
opportunities
that
we
could
participate
in
through
this
partnership,
one
being
a
live
stream
gaming
marathon,
where
donations
can
be
made
as
students
are
participating
very
similar
to
a
walkathon
or
a
jog-a-thon.
U
If
you
want
to
think
about
that,
they
have
fundraising
for
tournaments
and
also
they
have
facility
day
fundraising
opportunities
which
is
very
similar
to
go
eat
at
chick-fil-a.
We
always
come
back
to
chick-fil-a
at
these
meetings,
go
eat
a
chick-fil-a
and
five
percent
will
go
back
to
what
other
group
you're
you're
fundraising
for
in
a
similar
fashion.
That
kind
of
fundraiser
can
be
run
at
their
esports
facilities.
U
U
U
We
see
this
as
a
zero
downside,
tremendous
upside
proposition
for
the
school
district,
in
terms
of
offering
these
opportunities
for
our
students
and
and
down
the
road,
an
opportunity
to
to
augment
a
lot
of
our
technology
education
courses,
as
well
as
some
of
our
bcit
courses
at
the
high
school,
namely
game
design
courses,
the
other
really
really
promising
piece
that
can
come
out
of
this
as
well.
U
Is
they
offer
a
lot
of
camps
during
the
summer
time,
at
both
the
doylestown
y
location
and
next
summer,
at
the
warminster
y
location,
they're
gonna
have
that
and
these
camps
can
be
around
playing
games.
They
can
be
around
educational
practices,
learning
coding
that
type
of
thing
and
centennial
school
district
students
will
receive
a
discount.
Well,
I
should
say
their
parents
or
guardians
will
receive
a
discount
for
signing
them
up
and
and
when
they
pay
for
these
camps.
U
So
again
it's
it's
a
local
business
here
in
the
centennial
school
district
and
we're
hoping
to
partner
with
them
as
soon
as.
C
So
possible
best
of
dr
best
question
here:
how
does
title
nine
come
into
place
in
in
this
game?.
U
That's
a
great
question:
as
we
know,
title
ix
is
about
equity
and
access
and
what
we're
doing
is
providing
both
for
our
students
access
in
terms
of
the
opportunities
to
participate,
remotely
and
virtually
or
in
person
at
the
facilities.

A
We
were
given
a
sheet
that
rated
the
seven
or
eight
insurance
companies
that
replied
to
the
rfp
and
there
were
numbers
assigned
to
the
various
insurance
applicants.
Let's
say
who
who
determined
what
those
numbers
were.
There
were
three
of
them
that
were
extremely
close
in
the
final
tabulation.
I
was
just
curious
why
willis
towers
watson
were
prevailed
over
the
others
that
the
other
two
were
right
so
close
to
them.
They.
V
Were
very
close
and
I
reviewed
them,
I
read
each
of
the
rfp
responses
in
their
entirety
and
I
can
certainly
review
that
with
you
at
any
given
time.
V
And
and
scored
high
points
in
in
their
loss
claims
management
response
to
us
right
where
they
scored
a
20
out
of
20
points,
and
I
think
you
know
again,
I
think
each
one
of
those
people
who
participated
you
can
see
arthur
j
gallagher.
They
scored
several
high
scores
in
their
responses
as
well.
I
think
I'd
have
to
really
go
through
each
section
of
that
rfp
and
we
graded
them
based
on
that,
their
response.
V
I
believe
they
have
been
servicing
the
district.
I
think
this
will
be
their.
This
will
going
forward
will
be
their
fifth
year.
Okay,
I
can
confirm
that,
for
you,
that's.
A
C
Thank
you.
I
do
have
a
question
as
well,
so
thank
you
when
I
look
at
that
double

that's
being
bit,
you
know
and
what
is
going
to
happen
if
the
price
comes
in
above
45

V
But
you
know
we
have
looked
so
it's
an
active
quote.
We
just
don't
have
three
of
them,
so
that's
what
we
wanted
to
make
sure
that
we
were
assured.
So
we
have.
We
have
a
a
seller
at
that
number
and
we
will.
We
just
want
to
make
sure
we
do
our
due
diligence
to
guarantee
the
lowest
price.
All
right.
A
Thank
you,
you'll
be
eating,
peanut
butter
and

sandwiches.
If
the
oven
doesn't
come
in
that's
what
will
happen,
there's

items.

I
find
with
them
doors
is:
you
cannot
work
them
mechanically.
You
have
to
work
on
manually.
So
for
that
reason,
at
this
time,
with
the
way
we're
our
budget
and
the
way
we
had
to
raise
taxes,
I
would
like
to
postpone
replacing
these
doors.
O
X
The
there
was
obviously
the
main
issue
of
the
fact
that
they
were
listed.
It
was
listed
on
the
five-year
capital
plan.
It
was
already
identified
by
our
engineering
engineering
company
of
note
as
a
problematic
infrastructure
point
both
from
a
safety
and
a
security
aspect.
X
Also
it
was
one
of
those,
since
I
do
have
very
little
time
to
be
able
to
address
a
number
of
things
on
the
five
year
capital
plan.
A
number
of
those
things
require
a
full
year
evaluation
and
bid
process.
We
focused
on
a
number
of
the
things
that
we
knew
we
could
do
within
the
limited
time
frame
that
I
had
in
preparation
to
come
into
the
summer
and
the
loading
dock
doors
was
one
of
them.
X
While
I
do
agree
that
our
building
supervisor
and
our
facilities
team
have
done
a
very
good
job
of
maintaining
the
the
original
loading
dock
and
garage
doors
of
the
building,
six,
you
know
60
plus
year
building
the
fact
that
they're
manual
makes
them
very
difficult
to
be
able
to
operate
regularly.
One
of
them
the
loading
dock
door
is
actually
no
man
door,
so
they
literally
have
to
open
and
close
this
door
every
time
they
take
out
the
trash
and
recycling
which
can
sometimes
lead
to
human
error,
they
leave
it
open.
X
As
a
result
of
you
know
the
convenience
of
being
able
to
go
back
and
forth,
and
so,
as
a
result,
we
thought
it
would
be
best
to
have
an
automatic
that
way.
We
can
ensure
that
the
building
curtain
is
secure
and
that
we
leave
that
human
hair
out
of
it
also
the
garage
door,
does
get
beat
with
a
fair
bit
of
water,
as
people
know,
in
klinger
they
do
get
a
fair
bit
of
water
there,
and
so
the
bottom
of
the
garage
door
is
rusted.
Pretty
good.
X
We've
had
to
replace
it
already
once
and
we've
had
to
replace
the
threshold
three
times.
So
the
thought
would
be
is
that
an
automatic
door
would
provide
a
greater
seal
with
a
greater
seal
on
the
bottom
and
so
and
klinger's
the
only
one
where
we
have
only
school
building.
We
have
not
replaced
our
loading
dock
in
garage
doors
with
automatics.
O
So
I
have,
I
have
one
more
question
regarding
that
and
I
apologize
I
haven't
seen
it.
Is
there
an
entrance
into
the
school
from
that
area
when
that
garage
door
is
left
open?
That.
O
X
Both
the
garage
and
the
loading
dock
doors,
if
you
are
able
to
enter
them,
can
both
access
the
hallway
space.
W
But
you
also
have
a
passenger
and
a
door
alongside
them
loading
back
doors
that
you
do
not
have
to
use
it's
a
regular
36
inch.
You
know
door,
regular
door
that
you
can
go
in
and
out.
You
don't
necessarily
have
to
access
that
that
area
by
the
loading
dock
doors,
correct.
X
There
is
a
hallway
door
next
that
the
hallway
leads
past
the
loading
dock
area
and
the
garage
that
goes
to
the
exterior.
Unfortunately,
what
that
requires
it's
a
the
staff
doesn't
usually
use
it,
because
when
you
come
out,
the
loading
dock
you're
actually
looking
down
on
the
the
dumpsters,
and
so
you
can
easily
just
throw
the
heavy
bags
of
trash
right
into
it
as
opposed
to
lifting
them
up
and
over
the
dumpster.
So,
usually
that's
what
our
staff
usually
do
and
that's
why
we
place
them
closest
to
the
loading
dock.
X
I
did
yes,
you
are
correct
that
there
is
an
an
extra
way
of
being
able
to
do
that.
It's
just
a
little
bit
more
inconvenient
requires
a
little
bit
more
strength
to
put
those
bags
above
above
the
head.
S
So
so
so
I
did.
I
did
when
you
when
you
when
mr
lydon
called
me
and
said
there
was
an
issue.
I
did
my
own
research
and
come
to
find
out
that
the
the
doers
really
are
in
not
in
bad
condition,
and
they
are
manual,
that's
their
biggest
downfall.
S
X
It's
not
to
exceed
so
our
hope
is
to
be
able
to
find
additional
vendors.
Unfortunately
right,
the
number
of
vendors
that
provide
these
kinds
of
doors
are
limited,
so
we're
in
the
process
of
trying
to
procure
additional
quotes
presently,
so
we
put
it
not
to
exceed
so
we
know
that
this
would
be
the
maximum
amount
that
that
we
would
spend
kind
of
like
what
we
did
with
the
with
the
oven.
X
To
be
three
quotes,
I
think
the
publicly
paid
amount
is
over
22
000.
S
X
X
Did
say
that
range
prior
to
the
21
was
just
three
quotes
requirement,
but
we
will
look
into
that
further
to
make
sure
we're
clear.
S
X
S
Yeah,
it's.
You
can
also
check
board
policy
6610.1.
S
7.2
e
awards
right.
We
have.
S
Z
S
B
S
T
S
X
Course
t
lomax
was
selected
specifically
because
they
were
the
company
you
approved
for
abatement
of
both
auditoriums
and.
S
W
Can
I
just
address
it
right
just
why
I
would
oppose
this
is
the
reason
they
want
to
abate.
That
particular
area
is
because
they
want
to
build
a
dividing
wall
to
separate
the
classroom
to
make
separate
classrooms.
You
know
make
one
two
small
classrooms
out
of
one
big
one.
I
I
physically
went
and
looked
at
that
classroom
the
the
the
tile
that
they're
talking
about
removing
is
perfectly
fine.
Also
and
like
I
said
once
again,
it's
60
years
old.
W
You
have
to
be
ginger
with
it
not
to
damage
it,
but
that
wall
could
be
put
in
and
that
that
floor
can
stay
as
is,
and
we
can
move
forward
without
even
having
to
concern
with
the
the
abatement
at
all
and
the
other
thing
is:
when
we
abate
this
floor,
we
don't
even
have
any
cost
on
what
it
would
cost
to
put
a
new
floor
down.
Yet
so
it's
not
just
a
bait
in
the
room.
W
X
We're
getting
estimates
right
now,
okay,
and
just
so
you
know
you
have
to
remove
some
of
the
asbestos
to
put
a
wall
in.
You
cannot
install
a
wall
on
top
of
asbestos
tile.
You
will
break
and
penetrate
those
tiles
and
that
once
they're,
broken
or
penetrated
the
dust
is
released,
and
then
you
happen
to
have
to
stop
immediately
right
into
a
bait.
X
X
X
S
X
I
ask
one
more
question:
the
reason
why
we're
moving
two
large
classrooms
into
some
more
followers
for
smaller
ones
is
because
the
principle
had
indicated
they
have
a
fall
program,
starting
that
they
do
not
have
classes
for.
If
we
are
tabling
it-
and
let's
say
we
don't
discuss
it
until
august,
I
won't
have
the
capacity
to
be
able
to
create
these
rooms
for
them.
E
E
E
So
I
would
go
on
record
as
saying
that
it's
one
thing
for
cost,
but
I
would
not
risk
anything
with
a
bestest
and
I
do
want
to
remind-
and
I
can't
remember
the
number
you
quote-
but
the
standards
for
bidding
and
purchasing
increase
two
percent
this
past
year,
beginning
january
2022,
and
you
may
have
quoted
it
right.
I
can't
remember,
but
just
to
be
clear
to
everyone.
Purchases
and
contracts
between
11,
800
and
21
900
do
require
only
quotations,
not
bids.
E
S
Mr
mr
london,
respectfully
that
doesn't
make
a
whole
heck
of
a
lot
of
sense,
because,
like
mr
shepherd,
I
I
mean
I
hate
to
I'm
not
trying
to
be
a
mean
person.
But
mr
shepherd
is
right
when
you,
when
you
just
when
you
disturb,
even
if
you
just
do
two
tiles
this
way,
and
you
disturb
all
that
that's
even
putting
a
screw
through
disturbs
the
asbestos
and
we're
putting
children
at
risk
and
I'm
not
on
board.
For
that.
S
A
A
S
Mr
shepherd,
could
you
notify
us?
I
mean
I
don't
know
about
anybody
else,
but
I'm
not
going
anywhere
all
summer.
So
I
could
still
read
my
emails.
S
S
Most
over
here,
okay,
make
a
motion
to
approve
7.2
e.
I
need
a
second
second
awards
proposal
from
t
lomax
and
associates
incorporated
for
asbestos.
Asbestos
abatement
at
klinger
middle
school
district
cost
not
to
exceed
seventeen
thousand
eight
hundred
dollars.
S
S
If
we
table
it,
then
it
can't
get
done
over
the
summer
and
it
and
they
need
the
classrooms
by
by
september.
I
would
ask
in
the
I
would
ask
in
the
future
if
we
could
just
make
sure
we
have
more
than
one
quote.
That
would
be
awesome,
because
then
we
wouldn't
be
in
this
position
right
now.
V
We
did
talk
about
that.
Excuse
me
just
for
clarity
right
at
our
operations
committee
meeting
two
thursdays
ago
right.
We
shared
each
one
of
these
projects
in
detail
and
reviewed
them
with
the
committee
members
and
and
at
that
meeting
we
did
talk
to
and
say
that
we
were
collecting
other
quotes
so
as
to
be
totally
transparent
and
open
with
the
committee
that
that's
what
we
were
gonna
do
so.
S
E
Madam
chair
by
policy
that,
if
you're
not
able
to
get
it,
you
you're
supposed
to
provide
a
memo
explaining
that
as
part
of
the
process
and
that's
by
our
policy.
Our
policy
also
states
that
we
automatically
adjust
our
bid
and
quote
guidelines
following
the
consumer
price
index,
which
references
two
percent,
so
the
threshold
did
go
up
to
21.9,
but
in
the
future
to
align
with
the
policy,
and
I
think
what
mrs
bronchalt
was
saying
is
that
the
board
is
supposed
to
receive
a
memorandum
explaining
why
we
don't
have
three
quotes.
E
X
Absolutely
it's
my
goal
to
be
able
to
make
sure
that
I'm
providing
you
guys
the
most
a
cost-effective
way
of
being
able
to
solve
our
facility
problems.
And
when
I
have
more
time.
S
Z
A
S
F
g
hold
on
a
second
I'm
over
here
saying
the
abc's
e
f
g
h,
7.2
h
awards
the
lowest
cost
proposal
for
the
installation
of
backstop,
fencing
to
to
be
determined
for
the
varsity
baseball
field
at
william
tennant
high
school
district
cost
not
to
exceed
fifteen
thousand
three
hundred
and
fifty
second
so
hold
on
a
second
I'm
sorry,
mr
shepherd,
I
really
am
it's.
Okay,.
S
So
we
have
bids
for
multiple
fencing
jobs.
They
should
not
be
separated.
They
should
not
be
separate
items.
They
should
have
been
bid
on
as
one
item
we
only
have
one,
so
they
should
be
bid
on
as
one
item
holy
moly.
I
could
okay,
so
the
total
for
the
fencing
jobs
in
conjunction
with
the
one
at
klinger.
Another
fencing
job
at
klinger
comes
to
a
total
of
twenty
seven
thousand
seven
hundred
dollars,
which
would
again
fall
under
that
category
of.
X
S
Still
you're
right,
but
it's
still
a
fencing
job
and
I
wanted
to
know
if,
if
you,
if
you
procured
or
looked
into
the
permits
for
these
jobs
because
they
are
not
included
on
that
bid
and
normally
in
a
small
job
which
this
would
be
considered,
a
small
job
to
the
township,
the
supplier
doesn't
pull
the
permits.
In
the
past,
we
have
pulled
our
own
permits.
X
Once
I
receive
approval
from
the
board,
we
will
be
moving
forward
without
with
processing
a
lot
of
that
activity.
I
didn't
want
to
be
presumptuous
on,
assuming
that
you
guys
would
approve
the
award,
but
once
that
approval
is
received,
it
triggers
a
number
of
actions
by
the
facilities
department
to
move
forward
which
would
be
to
engage
the
the
township
of
that
the
school
is
in
and
get
an
understanding
of.
What
that
permit
process
would
be,
whether
it
be
us
or
the
vendor.
Sometimes
it
varies
depending
on
the
service.
X
Yes,
we
just
received
the
second
bid.
Second
quotes
from
another
company
and
a
meeting
with
a
third
on
thursday.
Okay.
S
So
I
I
I
would
have
to
say
sadly
I
I
would
like
to
make
a
motion
to
table
the
fencing
for
7.2,
h
and
7.2.
S
A
S
X
We
just
got
some
a
second
one
on
monday
and
we
are
meeting
with
the
third
vendor
on
thursday.
X
A
tight
timeline
to
be
honest
with
you,
these
guys
they're
busy
seasons
right
now,
so
it's
very
difficult
to
try
to
get
them
scheduled
for
a
visit
which
they
have
to
be
physically
there
to
be
able
to
quote
us.
W
Yes,
I
do
the
the
varsity
fencing
out
of
all
the
fencings
is
in
the
best
shape.
I
looked
at
the
jv,
I
looked
at
the
varsities,
I
looked
at
the
middle,
school's,
fencing
and,
and
the
varsity
at
william
tennant's
fence
is
in
the
best
shape
of
all
of
them.
Now
I
I
think
they
you
can
repair
all
of
them.
W
But
the
fencing
itself
to
me
is
in
in
very
good
shape,
but
I
cannot
say
that
about
the
jv
fuels
the
jv
fails
need
repair
desperately,
and
I
desperately
think
that
we
should
take
that
fifteen
thousand
dollars
and
put
it
towards
repairing
them.
Other
fields
be
the
middle
schools
and
the
high
school
level
in
the
jv,
and
that's
where
I
think
that
money
should
go.
X
The
reason
why
I
did
not
submit
them
was
because
the
original
quote
was
so
high
that
the
operations
committee
was
very
concerned
about
it,
and
I
didn't
think
that
I
wanted
to
based
on
that
concern
about
the
cost
of
a
full
replacement
of
those
backstops
that
I
didn't
think
it
was
wise
to
submit
that
today.
So
I
submitted
the
more
cost-effective
fence
replacement
one
at
the
varsity.
X
Instead,
now
we
are
collecting
additional
quotes,
like
I
said,
for
fencing
from
other
companies
and
the
quotes
that
I
did
receive
for
the
jv
baseball
jv
softball
and
the
klinger
baseball
field
was
significantly
lower.
The
original
bids
being
above
30
000
for
the
one
company.
The
second
company
came
back
at
around
nine
thousand,
well
they're,
that's
all,
and
so
I'm
hoping
to
be
able
to
submit
those
at
the
next
board
meeting
with
the
appropriate
bids
for
those
full
replacements
and
an
operations.
Another
operations
committee
before
that
meeting,
okay,.
S
X
Here
the
community
uses,
but.
S
W
Y
S
Okay,
so
that's
seven,
seven,
two
it's
tabled!
Thank
you!
Okay!
Now
we
have.
I
awards
the
lowest
cost
proposal
for
the
installation
of
safety
security,
fencing
around
the
exterior
stairwells
at
klinger
middle
school
to
be
determined
district
cost
not
to
exceed
twelve
thousand
three
hundred
and
fifty
dollars.
Can
I
get
a
second
okay?
X
No,
that's
not
correct.
There's.
W
Mr
shepherd,
is
there
not
a
fence
at
the
one
closest
to
where
the
kids
would
come
out
to
get
into
their
cars?
I
believe
I
saw
it.
We
wanted
to
change
that
fence.
So
it's
a
no
climb
fences.
Yes,.
X
S
X
You
know
it's
almost
to
a
point
of
negligible
prevention.
If
you
know
what
I
mean,
because
you
can
easily
stand
on
the
cement
wall
that
it's
built
into
and
lean
right
over
it,
and
so
there
was
a
concern
of
that
plus
the
fact
that
there
was
no
gate
to
the
stairs
you
could
you
have
the
unfortunate
ability
of
some
a
kid
being
able
to
a
fall,
but
also
to
be
able
to
get
down
there.
X
X
One
quote:
no,
we
just
got
a
second
quote
like
I
said,
and
then
we're
getting
a
third
on
thursday
and
that's
for
two
stairwells
combined.
E
E
S
S
W
S
W
S
Second,
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
to
table
it
until
you
have
three
quotes.
This
is
thirty
four
000.
I.
X
Believe
I
provided
a
home
depot
quote
as
a
second
quote,
with
this
submission,
and
we
just
received
our
third
quote
for
sheds
just
the
end
of
last
week,
but.
X
X
Well,
that's
one
of
the
things
where
we
were
trying
to
do
respond
to
your
requests
in
the
operations
committee
for
additional
quotes,
and
so
we've
obtained
them
and
the
quotes
that
we
received
are
actually
the
low
quotes.
S
Q
S
W
Madam
chair,
if
I
may,
I
would
just
like
to
make
a
motion
and
not
that
I
don't
want
the
and
I'm
not
going
to
argue
about
where
we
get
them
at.
The
only
thing
I
would
like
to
see
is
that
we
offer
this
to
mbi2
mbit
students
to
build
them
for
us,
so
we
can
kind
of
like
use.
You
know
help
out
everybody
here,
our
other
students
at
the
other
school,
as
well
as
it's
a
win-win
for
everybody
here.
So.
S
T
S
S
Y
C
S
A
S
X
We
do
one
of
the
if
you
must
know
so.
The
five-year
capital
plan
had
indicated
that
we
would
need
two
sheds
at
williamstown
in
high
school
and
one
shot
at
mcdonald
elementary
school.
They
actually
slated,
I
think
twenty
four
thousand
dollars
for
each
location.
X
S
S
S
Her
understanding
we
just
voted,
and
it's
tabled
nine
to
one.
S
C
So
so,
if,
if
you
don't
mind,
you
know
being
an
mbi
key
board
member,
I
do
believe
that
it
is
something
that's
worth
exploring
with
mbit,
because
it
becomes
an
educational
experience
for
students
even
from
centennial
school
district.
But
it's
not
a
given
thing
that
nbit
can
do
this.
It
is
something
that
needs
to
be
explored
and
incorporated,
and
it
takes
time
to
you
know
to
put
that
in
place
as
well
or
they
might
be
able.
X
My
goal
with
the
the
appropriate
amount
of
time
to
be
able
to
prepare
large
projects
like
in
the
summer
like
this
is
called
for,
is
that
I
will
have
all
the
information
available
for
you
and
that's
my
plan
over
this
summer,
okay
august.
Thank
you
very
much.
S
S
A
It
was
great,
mr
ginhart
you're
you're
up
the
back.
My.
R
C
R
Pull
8.1
c
policy
832
educational
equity.
Does
anybody
want
to
pull
anything
else
all
right
be
resolved
that
the
centennial
school
district
board
of
school
directors
adopts
policy
8.1,
a
policy,
101
mission
statement,
8.1
b,
conflict
policy,
827
conflict
of
interest,
8.1
d
policy,
916
volunteers?
Any
discussion.
R
Now
I'm
just
bad
as
you
are,
so
we
have
a
second
all
in
favor,
aye
aye
any
opposed.
It
carries
9-0,
8.1
c
policy,
832
educational
equity.
Second,
do
we
have
discussion.
O
O
O
O
O
Centennial's
goal
is
to
employ
the
very
best
for
our
kids.
It
is
our
job
to
support
our
administrators
and
teachers
in
creating
the
best
environment
for
all
students,
our
future
leaders
to
be
the
absolute
best
versions
of
themselves.
We
must
not
fail
them.
We
need
a
policy
for
future
teachers
and
future
administrators.
So
they
hear
our
voices
loud
and
clear
and
have
a
touchstone.
O
A
Thank
you,
mr
good
morning
make
a
statement.
Yes,
finally,
the
fact
I'm
not
going
to
go
through
what
we
did
last
meeting.
I
don't
want
to
do
that,
but
the
fact
that
the
motion
that
was
made
and
I'm
going
to
make
again
to
table
this
motion
does
not
in
any
way
mean
that
you're
automatically
not
in
favor
of
equity,
it's
entirely
possible
that
you
would
like
to
see
this
motion
reviewed
because
there's
some
important
consequences
of
adopting
it.
It
was
also
purported
that
the
solicitors
had
an
opportunity
to
review
this
motion.
A
The
fact
is,
when
I
checked
with
our
solicitor
that
was
our
last
meeting
and
I
checked
with
mr
garten.
They
had
not
seen
this
policy
prior
to
this
tuesday's
meeting,
so
if
it
was
approved
or
reviewed
by
a
solicitor
it
had
to
be
done
many
months
ago,
and
not
recently
by
our
current
solicitors.
Before
we
make
any
important
steps,
I
believe
it's
very
important
that
solicitors
view
this
sign
off
on
it
and
answer
anybody's
questions
it
in
no
way
means
that
you're
automatically
opposed
to
equity.
A
R
A
A
E
T
C
A
A
E
E
E
E
R
R
My
only
concern
is
that
in
doing
some
further
research
on
this,
I
have
found
some
legal
concerns
that
are
concerning
and
I
have
found.
I
have
found
some
lawsuits
that
are
pending
and
in
process.
Regarding
policies
of
this
nature
august
of
21,
there
was
an
illinois
teacher
suing
districts
over
their
equity
policy.
This
state
violates
their
federal
civil
rights
and
united
states
constitution
august
21,
a
missouri
district
was
sued
by
its
employees
over
its
equity
training
mandated
equity
training.
R
E
E
You
know,
one
of
the
things
that
I
want
to
go
on
record
is
being
very
clear
about
is
that
it
is
our
utmost
concern
and
first
concern
that
all
students
are
safe
to
learn,
learn
well
and
have
resources
they
needed
to
be
prepared
for
the
future.
This
means
students,
personal
circumstances,
background
and
zip
code.
Do
not
stop
them
from
reaching
their
full
potential.
E
I
also
want
to
emphasize
that
it
helps
us
to
make
sure
that
we
are
doing
our
darnedest
to
make
sure
that
we
have
the
best
qualified
and
highly
qualified
staff
that
is
in
in
place
to
help
meet
the
needs
of
all
students.
For
years,
pennsylvania
has
seen
a
decline
in
graduates
entering
the
education
field.
The
state
has
saw
a
66
percent
drop
in
college,
undergraduate,
choosing
education
as
a
major.
E
We
are
as
a
district
committed
to
opening
to
ensure
every
student
has
access
to
quality
teachers,
getting
the
best
teachers
to
support.
Our
kids
requires
collecting
data
on
the
amount
of
teacher
turnover,
recruiting
and
reporting
highly
qualified
candidates
and
eliminating
hiring
discrimination
that
keeps
good
candidates
out
of
the
classroom,
all
of
which
this
policy
seeks
to
support.
E
Our
goal
is
to
support
access
and
opportunity
to
every
student
through
data-driven
decision-making
data
makes
us
smarter.
It
helps
us
identify
problems
that
hinder
progress,
helps
us
understand
why
progress
has
stalled.
In
our
case,
we
have
stalled.
It
was
clearly
articulated
that
we
are
not
at
a
place
where
we
are
making
equity
as
a
foundational
level.
We
are
using
equity,
sporadically
and
inconsistently.
That
depends
on
who's
in
charge
of
who
the
person
is.
That's
overseeing
that
program.
E
This
policy
will
also
ensure
that
we
continue
to
collect
and
analyze
data
for
enrollment
achievement,
suspension,
advanced
placement,
coursework
attendance
and
more
based
on
student
background,
to
ensure
all
students,
no
matter
where
their
background
is
receive.
The
required
resources
to
be
successful.
E
E
E
E
We
want
to
know
about
their
experiences,
whether
we're
being
inclusive
and
how
their
needs
are
being
embedded
or
not
being
met.
We
want
to
ensure
purpose
for
communication
with
students,
their
families,
csd
leaders,
faculty
and
staff,
and
members
of
the
larger
school
community
for
the
purposes
of
learning
you've
heard
earlier
today
about
the
number
of
programs
that
we
do.
But
this
is
not
about
a
program.
It's
about
a
culture,
a
climate,
a
foundational
level
of
creating
opportunity
for
all
children
to
be
successful.
E
All
students
deserve
high
quality
instruction
with
rigorous
coursework
that
engages
students
in
projects
and
problem
solving
worthy
of
the
effort
required.
That's
why
the
policy
ensures
high
standards
for
performance
for
every
teacher
and
student.
It
also
ensures
that
we
are
giving
clarity,
goals
and
guardrails
and
a
topic
to
your
point
that
has
created
a
whole
lot
of
miscommunication
misperceptions,
so
we're
being
clear
to
our
faculty
staff
and
students.
What
we
mean
by
educational
equity.
E
Our
goal
is
to
have
all
students
prepared
to
enter
succeed
in
college,
or
this
requires
building
academic
knowledge
and
social,
emotional
and
interpersonal
skills.
Student-Centered
inclusive
education,
improves
academic
outcomes
and
life
skills
and
has
a
lifelong
positive
impact
on
our
students,
well-being,
health,
economic
status
and
success
again.
Tangible
examples
have
been
provided
here
earlier
today
with
students
who
came
bespoke
to
speak.
R
Dr
penn,
while
I
do
it
I'll
get
I'll
get
to
you
in
a
second,
mr
mercado.
I
just
want
to
respond
to
that.
I
do
appreciate
your
input
on
this.
However,
that
is
separate
and
distinct
from
the
legal
concerns
that
I
raised
and
really
doesn't
have
any
bearing
on
the
legal
concerns
that
I've
raised
with
the
ongoing
lawsuits,
the
potential
for
federal
civil
rights,
lawsuit
or
federal
rights
violations,
and
possibly
some
substantial
penalties
and
payments
with
regards
to
if
we
lose
federal
civil
rights.
R
I'm
concerned
about
legal
concerns
and
to
answer
your
point
earlier,
I
earlier
on
when
this
first
started
working
its
way
through
the
process,
I
was
very
focused
on
the
content
and
the
merit
and
whether
or
not
we
needed
it-
and
it
just
didn't-
occur
to
me
to
think
about
it
from
a
legal
perspective,
and
I've
just
done
that
recently
and
then,
when
I
did
my
research,
that's
when
I
came
up
with
these
ongoing
lawsuits
that
could
potentially
exposed
us
to
some
liability
that
I
think
needs
to
be
addressed.
Mr
broncato
did
you
some.
S
S
S
S
I,
I
am
not
some
things
in
this
in
this
equity
policy,
I'm
all
on
board.
Some
things,
I
think,
are
left
open
from
the
person
from
somebody's
viewpoint.
So
I'm
going
to
pick
on
mr
sadowski
because
he's
sitting
next
to
me
we're
both
reading
the
same
exact
thing
and
he
sees
it
one
way
and
I
see
it
another
way
and
I
think
it
leaves
open
a
lot
of
accusations
that
are
untrue.
It
leaves
it
open
for
me,
I'm
just
picking
on
you
for
me
to
say
he
has
no
idea
what
he's
talking
about.
S
That's
not
what
it
means,
because
we
both
perceive
it
to
mean
something
different.
I
think
there's
a
lot
of
perception
involved
in
this
policy,
so
I
don't
you
know
most
of
us.
Well,
I
shouldn't
say
most
I
shouldn't
be
presumptuous.
I've
lived
here
a
long
time,
not
as
long
as
other
people,
but
long
time.
S
This
has
always
been
a
melting
pot.
This
community,
always
we've,
always
had
kids
from
lower
economic
status.
All
the
way
to
their
parents
have
a
little
bit
of
extra
pocket
change.
We've
always
had
every
color
person
under
the
sun,
and
I
gotta
be
honest.
I
don't
think
the
kids
see
it
that
way.
I
think
it's
the
adults
and
it's
not
all
the
adults,
it's
some
of
them.
S
I
have
never
heard
a
kid
say,
I'm
picking
on
you
again.
I've
never
heard
a
kid
say.
You
know
sadowsky,
you
know
the
aging
guy
you're.
Not
I
don't
know.
I've
never
heard
a
kid
do
that
they
just
say
sadowsky.
So
so
is
it
the
kids,
the
kids
don't
care.
What
color
you
are
they
don't
care
what
color
each
other
are.
A
D
A
D
S
S
There
good
good
people
are
going
to
get
harmed
and
good
children
are
going
to
get
harmed
based
on
who's.
Looking
at
their
own
perception
of
this,
I
don't
think
it's
clear
enough.
Like
there's
one
thing
in
there
microaggression
and
I
have
to
laugh
because
come
on.
We
all
know
that's
coming
my
way.
I'm
loud,
that's
not
a
micro
aggression.
It
means
I'm
loud.
A
S
I
just
think
it's
finished.
I
just
think
I
would.
I
would
like
this
equity
policy
to
be
a
little
more
clear,
not
leave
so
much
open
to
the
perception
of
I'm
going
to
stop.
Picking
on
you,
mr
lyden,
and
I
like
we
see
it
differently
like
it's
got
to
be
more
clear-cut,
because
I
think
fingers
are
going
to
get
pointed
at
mr
lydon
zadowski
or
me
that
that
shouldn't
be
because
somebody's
going
to
say
mr
lydon,
he
doesn't
like
anybody
who's
poor
or
he
doesn't
like
anybody.
S
You
know
who's
purple
and
that's
not
the
case.
It's
just
the
way.
I
see
it
is
not
the
same
as
how
mr
lyden
sees
it.
So
I
I
I
have
a
huge
problem
with
it.
I
would
have
liked
to
hear
what
mr
garten
thought
of
all
this,
but
somehow
that
got
axed
real,
quick
and
I
don't
get.
We
don't
get
to
find
that
out.
We've
raised
taxes,
2.9
percent
and
I
do
think
it
leaves
I
think
it
leaves.
This
policy
leaves
a
lot
open
to
perception
and
I
don't
think
that's
legally
a
great
idea.
S
You
know
this
is
green
right,
but
tony
says
it's
mustard
or
it's
it's
green
grass
seaweed
green,
it's
stinking
green,
but
he
sees
it
as
one
color
and
I
see
it
as
another.
It's
all
about
perception
and
this
policy
leaves
a
lot
open
to
the
perception
of
the
reader
and
I
don't
think
that's
good
for
our
community
at
risk.
For
hearing
this,
lady,
I'm
sorry
our
community,
you
don't
you
don't
hear
about
that
stuff.
We
don't
maybe
back
then
when
you
and
I
might
have
gone
to
school,
but
not
not
in
my
kid's
lifetime.
A
J
J
So
not
every
student
will
need
this,
but
those
who
do
need
it.
Let's
give
it
to
them.
Let's
support
them
in
any
way
we
can.
That
is
why
we
are
in
these
seats
to
support
these
kids
and
we've
already
sent
this.
So
I
don't
want
the
community
thinking
that
we
did
something
on
the
slide.
It's
not
legal,
it's
legal!
It
was
sent
to
our
solicitor.
He
just
does
not.
Remember
it
it's
unfortunate,
but
it
was
sent
to
him
so
everything's
above
board.
Let's
do
this
for
our
kids.
D
Thank
you
basically,
it's
my
philosophy
that
each
individual
each
board
member,
has
the
right
of
their
opinion,
and
I
respect
that
and
I
hope
they
do
the
same.
For
myself,
I
wrote
some
items
down
so
that
I
stay
to
clarity
and
stay
on
focus
number
one.
The
duties
and
responsibilities
of
school
board
members
are
to
established
policies
necessary
for
the
governing
of
a
school
district,
its
employees,
pupils
and
all
persons
entering
school
grounds
for
premise,
ensure
educational
opportunity
for
all
students
of
our
school
district
policy.
112.
D
I
will
give
a
few
examples.
I
won't
read
them
all,
because
you
probably
are
aware
of
them
in
our
district.
We
have
the
following
government
mandated
policies,
title
one,
I'm
sure
you're
all
familiar
with
title.
One
provides
funding
supports
for
equal
opportunity,
economically
disadvantaged
students.
We
adhere
to
that.
D
D
C
So
if
that
doesn't
help
our
situation,
we
should
be
providing
the
best
possible
service
to
each
student
and
their
success.
That's
why
something
like
maybe
building
these
sheds,
you
know
at
mbit
would
be
a
great
idea.
This
is
another
collaboration
and
the
peace
that
kind
of
works
together
to
create
success
and
collaboration
for
everybody.
Y
Thinking
back
to
jacqueline,
when
you
made
your
comments
earlier
tonight,
saying
not
all
of
us
start
from
the
same
place
and
we
need
to
make
adjustments
accordingly,
I
think
that's
at
the
heart
of
it.
As
dr
ben
you
rightly
pointed
out,
a
lot
of
work
has
been
done
to
make
sure
that
this
policy
is
thorough,
thorough
and
that
it
has
support
from
key
parts
of
the
school
community.
Y
We
talked
about
it
in
great
detail
last
week
or
you
know
two
weeks
ago,
many
concerns
were
voiced.
Did
it
again
tonight,
communities
had
opportunities
to
respond.
Many
did
two
weeks
ago.
Many
did
tonight
many
emailed
lots
in
favor.
Not
all
this
is
a
policy
to
ensure,
from
a
top-down
systemic
level,
that
we're
building
equity
into
our
district,
so
that
all
students
have
the
best
chance
to
succeed.
Y
So
we
can
keep
building
on
the
progress
that
dr
ben
and
his
team
and
our
building
leaders
and
our
teachers
and
our
support
specialists.
All
these
great
people
have
shown
us
multiple
times
is
now
very
much
underway.
It's
too
important
to
be
left
up
to
the
honor
system.
Equity
can't
be
a
band-aid.
It's
non-negotiable!
Y
Y
You
know
last
time
we
met.
I
guess
it
was,
is
just
one
specific
example
of
one
kid
facing
hardships
and
having
special
needs
met
and
thriving,
and
we
should
want
that
for
all
kids.
Regarding
mrs
bruncat's
pen,
some
people
are
color
blind
right.
Green
can
be
tough
for
some
people
and
it's
really
not
about
pen
color.
It's
about
students
having
what
they
need
to
succeed
and
equity
should
be
proactive.
R
E
R
Okay,
before
we
call
for
a
vote
just
in
closing,
I
just
want
to
reiterate
that
my
entire
reason
for
bringing
this
up
tonight
wasn't
to
discuss
the
content,
the
merits
or
the
need
for
this.
It
was
strictly
discuss
the
legal
concerns
and
us
being
exposed
to
potential
legal
consequences
as
a
result
of
this
so
insults
to
mr
garten
aside,
it
doesn't
change
the
fact
that
there
are
lawsuits
in
progress.
R
All
we
can
do
tonight
is
vote
yes
or
no
to
adopt
correct
if
we
vote
tonight
to
accept
it
does
not
I'm
sorry
if
we
vote
tonight,
no
to
not
accept
this
policy
to
give
you
time
to
review
it.
Can
it
not
be
brought
up
again
after
your
review
and
re
and
brought
up
again
and
voted
on
with
your
information.
T
R
R
D
Oh,
I'm
sorry,
do
you
have
a
comment?
Yes
doing.
Some
research
psba
states
that
the
template
for
policy
832
had
significant
legal
team
participation,
including
their
chief
legal
officer,.
A
Mr
martin,
one
last
thing:
I'm
worried
about
policies
can
be
changed,
individuals
are
elected
or
appointed
or
different
than
those
that
may
have
made
decisions
years
ago.
I
think
the
supreme
court
united
states
just
made
that
relatively
clear
this
past
week
that
things
can
change
that
happened
years
ago.
Policies
were
made
last
week
last
month
or
five
years
ago,
can
be
changed
or
modified
as
necessary.
A
The
current
majority
believes
that
that's
appropriate
and
there's
going
to
be
one
regarding
public
comment,
I'm
going
to
suggest
to
mr
gidehart's
committee.
They
take
a
look
at,
but
policies
are
good,
but
they
certainly
can
be
modified.
They're,
fluid
they're,
not
they're,
not
written
on
the
stone
and
casting
the
but
not
the
tank.
To
me.
A
Like
the
ten
commandments,
but
so
with
that,
I'm
ready
to
vote.
R
B
Okay,
mr
ginhart,
no,
mrs
island
burke,
yes,
this
is
brancato.
C
Z
W
Y
A
A
Z
Z
Z
Z
I
question
the
results
of
when
an
equity
lens
is
used
to
look
at
every
circumstance
and
situation
and
the
vote
from
the
board
tonight
to
pass
this
to
execute
it.
I
think
it's,
this
temporary
stumbling
block.
I
think
sounder
minds
will
prevail
and
I
got
I
pray
to
god
that
a
lawsuit
doesn't
happen
before
some
changes
can
be
made.
A
Any
board
member
have
comments
before
or
german.
I
think
we've
had
pretty
extensive
comment.
Is
there
a
motion
to
adjourn
this
meeting
till
august
the
ocean
we
don't
meet
in
july,
so
we
meet
in
august,
we'll
see
you
all
have
a
nice
summer.
Okay,.
