A
Okay,
good
evening,
prior
to
our
meeting,
we
had
an
executive
session
for
legal
and
student
matters
covered
by
fvr
PA
meeting
last
until
seven
o'clock.
Having
said
that,
I
call
the
meeting
of
Centennial
School
Board
together,
please
rise
and
pledge
allegiance.
Oops.
Excuse
me:
it's
down.
I
haven't
done
this
for
a
while
Melissa
got
some
exercise.
Excuse
me:
please,
roll
call.

Thank
you
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
announcements
and
I
would
like
my
fellow
board
members
to
indulge
me
for
a
few
minutes,
so
I
can
make
a
statement
as
I
reflect
on
my
role
as
president
of
this
board.
In
this
coming
year,
I
looked
at
our
school
dishes,
with
admiration
and
great
expectation
for
the
direction
we
are
currently
in,
along
with
moving
forward
with
our
superintendent,
our
administrators,
our
principals,
our
teachers,
along
with
our
employees,
who
work
extremely
hard
to
keep
our
district
functioning.
A
A
A
F
Thank
you,
I
am
presenting
on
behalf
of

3
500
was
donated
to
kisses
for
Kyle
from
the
proceeds
of
the
game.
The
fall
play
called
the
game
of
tiaras
was
amazing.
Over
40
students
were
led
by
Mrs
McCaffrey
and
Mrs
Hoban
to
make
a
hilarious
play.
F

A
A
G
Hello
good
evening:
everyone
can
we
play
the
video
first
and
then
we'll
answer.
I
My
name
is
Colleen
Buckley
and
I'm.
The
transition
coordinator
with
Centennial
School
District.
My
position
of
responsibilities
include
coordinating
sets
of
activities
for
students
who
receive
specially
designed
instruction
through
an
individualized
education
plan
in
preparing
for
adult
life,
After
High,
School
transition
planning
services
in
the
Commonwealth
of
Pennsylvania
start
beginning
at
age
14.
in
Centennial,
School
Districts,
the
minimum
is
age
14,
but
we
begin
planning
for
student
outcomes
that
are
student
focused
and
student-centered
for
after
graduation.
As
soon
as
the
team
feels
as
though
there's
a
need
identified
to
work
on
Independent
skills.
I
Transition
goals
differ
with
an
individualized
education
plan
for
students
and
that
their
self
directed
and
student-centered.
They
focus
on
outcomes
for
future
planning
and
adult
life
that
would
Encompass
different
factors
than
traditional
academic
goals
within
an
IEP.
So
students
are
working
towards
future
employment
goals,
future
Independent
Living
goals
and
future
post-secondary
education
goals,
and
we
start
looking
at
different
activities.
I
J
I
J
Their
goal
was
to
find
a
meaningful
experience
for
students
to
help
them
make
that
transition
in
life.
So
if
we
can
get
students
connected
at
a
younger
age
to
actual
employment
opportunities,
that
employer
will
help
that
student
came
to
the
education
they
need.
So
it's
one
way
to
try
to
to
bring
efficiencies
and
what's
best
for
students
in
the
long
run
as.
I
I
We
have
tools
for
Success
that
we
bring
in,
and
we
also
collaborate
with
our
Community
Partners,
so
whether
that's
through
OVR,
which
is
the
Pennsylvania
Office
of
Vocational
Rehabilitation,
or
if
it's
through
Career
Link,
it's
all
Community
Based.
So
what
is
in
my
neighborhood
community?
That
can
support
me
now
and
provide
additional
supports
for
me
and
I
know
how
to
access
those
for
after
graduation
and
I
have
those
skills
in
place.
So
whether
it's
practicing
mock
interviews
going
out
for
interviews
and
preparing
job
exploration,
creating
a
resume
we've.
K
I
Recently,
our
18
to
21
year
old
Services
have
expanded
for
functional
Learners,
who
may
need
additional
support
within
the
home,
setting
through
Independent
Living
skills
in
the
community,
setting
through
daily
functioning
skills
and
then
in
the
employment
setting
through
work
based
learning
opportunities
on
a
more
consistent
basis.
The
18
to
21
year
old
Spirit
program
through
Centennial
allows
for
students
with
the
opportunity
to
focus
on
specifically
those
transition
goals
within
their
IEP.
So
while
functional
academic
needs
are
still
present
and
still
addressed
and
still
planned
for
through
pre-search-based
curriculum.
L
K
We
talk
about
the
spirit
program
they're,
not
children,
they're,
not
students,
they're,
not
school
age,
they're
adults,
and
so
it's
really
nice
to
watch
that
transition
and
their
teacher
is
amazing.
She
teaches
them
that
they
don't
go
to
the
cafeteria
and
sick
with
600
children
at
lunch
because
they're,
not
children,
they
have
special
jobs
and
they
are
contributing,
like
adults
who
are
employed
here,
to
William
Tennant
high
school
and
to
the
Centennial
School
District.
One.
H
Of
the
greatest
benefits
of
that
is
to
have
our
students
practice
their
transition
skills
within
their
own
community
being
able
to
work
in
their
Community
with
the
people
they
see
each
day
when
their
parents
are
with
them
and
they
go
to
the
local
market
or
a
community
center
travel
training
within
our
community
so
that
they
can
and
just
be
adults
who
are
living
here.
Working
here
and
supporting
Centennial
School
District
area.
K
The
nice
thing
about
the
spirit
program
is
that
they're
done
with
their
traditional
English
and
math
classes.
They
don't
take
classes
at
Williamson,
high
school
anymore,
Traditional,
High,
School
classes.
Their
whole
program
is
geared
to
getting
them
ready
to
be
independently
employed
when
they
leave
us,
and
so
they
have
lots
of
opportunities
outside
the
district
outside
the
building
where
they
can
really
practice
those
job
ready
skills.
M
M
J
Program
was
designed
to
provide
authentic
experiences
and
what
better
way
to
gain
them
is
by
Community
Partnerships.
So
we
started
with
Warminster
hospital
and
choice.
We
developed
a
partnership
with
Trumark
Financial
Credit
Union.
We
also
partnered
with
wake
Fern
Corporation
with
the
parent
company
of
ShopRite,
and
we
partnered
with
the
Joe
Cowie
Cali
family
shop
right
in
Warminster
to
build
a
ShopRite
in
the
high
school.
L
I
believe
there
are
three
or
four
shelves:
there's
a
conveyor
belt.
There
there's
a
cash
register
and
our
students
are
able
to
run
that
program
and
run
that
store.
You
know
like
they
would
run
a
store
that
would
be
out
in
the
community.
So
it
was
something
that
was
able
to
give
our
students
training
and
we
were
able
to
kind
of
implement
those
trainings
and
and
do
it
in
real
time.
Shoprite.
I
I
H
K
I
H
I
In
my
position
as
transition
coordinator,
I
have
the
unique
perspective
where
I
get
to
transition
with
families,
from
either
Elementary
School
to
middle
school
or
middle
school
to
high
school
and
then
into
adult
life.
So
I
have
the
pleasure
of
being
able
to
work
with
families
and
support
them
at
every
stage
of
the
way.
That's
something
unique
and
specific
to
this
role
that
I
wouldn't
otherwise
have
the
opportunity
to
see
just.
L
K
Love
to
really
watch
them
grow
and
I
get
to
see
it
for
so
long
long
and
it's
so
much
more
than
academics
right
to
see
these
young
people
become
really
worldly,
articulate
independent,
ready
to
go
out
and
show
the
world
what
they
are
and
who
they
have.
That's
one
of
the
greatest
rewards
that
we
have
as
a
school
and
as
a
district
here,
whether.
I
You're,
a
teacher
and
you're
seeing
students
transition
into
adulthood
throughout
their
years
of
elementary
school
and
middle
school
or
you're,
a
Community
member
or
a
neighbor,
or
a
parent
or
a
grandparent.
Our
goal
is
to
create
independent
young
adults
who
are
able
to
access
their
community
supports,
contribute
back
to
the
community
and
have
a
high
success
rate
in
being
employees
who
are
able
to
have
a
high
level
of
sustainability
within
those
companies
or
restaurants
or
whatever.
A
O
Really
nice
I
love
that
the
bciu
had
kind
of
been
doing
this
and
and
it's
relatively
new
for
them
as
well
I
love
that
we
were
able
to
bring
it
here
closer
to
home
and
I
I
applaud
everyone.
What
a!
What
a
wonderful
program
and
I
love
to
see
faces
that
I
recognize
up
on
that
screen.
Pretty
cool!
Thank.
A
H
Thank
you.
We
wanted
to
honor
some
people
in
the
audience
today
who
have
helped
to
make
this
successful
for
our
students.
P
Q
Q
J
Never
at
a
loss
for
words
but
I,
think
and
I
I
I'd
love
to
speak
about
the
power
of
Partnerships
and-
and
it
was
very
moving
for
me
and
Nate
did
a
wonderful
job
with
that.
Video
I
think
because
working
with
some
of
our
our
most
challenged,
students
is
some
of
the
most
rewarding
work
we
do
and
to
have
Community
people
that
are
brought
in
to
help
us
fill
in
the
gaps
of
certain
areas
and
make
things
that
are
unique
and
Innovative
and
and
students.
J
J
To
compliment
you
for
getting
back
into
the
the
arena,
because
I
think
it's
it's
so
important
what
we
do
in
education,
because
it
is
our
future
and
thank
you
for
what
you
do
and
the
kind
words
before
the
meeting
too.
Thank.
H
I
just
give
one
more.
Thank
you.
Yes,
I
would
like
to
thank
our
school
board
because
in
20
the
2018-19
school
year
I
stood
up
here
and
presented
a
plan
to
bring
Spirit
here
and
I,
presented
it
showing
cost
savings
and
what
we
could
do
so
I
would
like
to
thank
the
school
board
for
voting
for
us
to
expand
our
transition
program
for
our
students
and
I
would
like
to
say
our
first
year
was
during
covet
and
we
miss
shalofo
made
it
work
with
her
team.
H
So
even
with
that
virtual
environment,
it
takes
all
of
us
to
do
this
together.
So
thank
you
to
the
board
for
voting
to
approve
this
transition
program
and
student
services
looks
forward
to
much
more
that
we
can
do
for
our
students.
Thank.
A
E
T
Madam
president
and
board
members
tonight
you
will
have
the
opportunity
to
approve
an
additional
partnership.
I
would
like
to,
for
the
sake
of
time,
defer
my
time
to
the
chief
operating
officer,
who
is
here
if
you
would
come
up
to
the
mic
and
allow
her
to
share
a
few
words
regarding
the
partnership
that
will
actually
provide
service
to
our
students,
our
staff
and
faculty
and
our
families.
So
Trish.
If
you
can
introduce
yourself
and
sure
and.
R
R
That
was
amazing,
amazing
work,
but-
and
so
it's
it's
very
as
I
can
say,
we're
very
blessed
to
have
also
the
partnership
that
we've
been
discussing
with
Dr
bedden
and
his
team
for
for
a
couple
months
now
as
to
how
we
can
impact
and
improve
the
lives
of
those
in
the
Centennial
School
District.
R
And
what
this
will
look
like
is
the
YMCA
bucks
in
Hunterdon
counties
will
be
opening
up
our
doors
to
every
teacher
and
staff
member
of
the
district
for
an
annual
membership
for
the
adult,
which
is
a
value
of
41
a
month,
and
we
have
a
beautiful
facility
right
here
in
Warminster
that
now
includes
a
pool
group
exercise
classes
and
our
Pathways
for
individuals
such
as
veterans,
cancer,
survivors
and,
as
you
as
many
of
you
know,
our
seventh
graders
Etc.
We
have
these
pathway
programs
that
we
provide.
R
So,
in
addition
to
providing
the
memberships,
we
are
also
committed
to
building
an
Esports,
lounge
and
Tech
education
center,
which
would
also
partner
with
the
works
that
you're
doing
with
the
students
now,
including
other
pathway
services.
So
we're
going
to
test
every
second
grader
out
of
our
Warminster
location
for
swim
safety,
as
well
as
our
other
pools
across
Bucks
County,
we'll
be
offering
Empower
you,
which
is
a
program
for
teen
girls.
R
Grades
7
through
10,
stand
up,
which
is
a
boys
program
for
grade
7
through
10,
all
building
core
values
and
confidence,
and
and
then
in
addition
to
that,
hopefully
being
able
to
provide
a
camp
extension
program
for
the
camp
program
that
you're
currently
offering
through
the
district,
where
we
could
then
help
parents
that
are
working
to
be
able
to
extend
the
day
for
them
so
that
they
know
their
children
are
cared
for
until
6
PM.
Most
of
what
we
do
and
what
I'm
saying
to
you
today
is
funded
by
our
donors
and
our
grant
Partners.
R
But,
most
importantly,
we
get
to
impact
the
lives
of
those
in
the
district
together.
I
was
overjoyed
to
see
that
the
percentage
of
your
teachers,
actually
the
largest
percentage
close
to
80
percent-
do
reside
in
this
area,
which
of
course,
would
then
be
our
warmest
or
location
and
we're
opening
up
our
doors,
I
hope
I
did
okay.

Right
one,
oh
yeah,
so
we're
at

a

Second,
all
right
and
thank
you
for
having.
D
A
question
or
two
in
this
regard
you
know
and
and
to
Mr
Benton.
Are
there
any
of
this
in
in
this
health
and
safety
plan?
That
could
be
leaded,
and
you
know,
since
it
seems
like
it's
redundant,
to
have
this
plan.
T
The
everything
that's
in
there
and
no
we
made
no
changes.
No
there's
been
no
issues
in
operating
and
we're
required
to
do
this
to
be
in
compliance
with
the
money
we
receive.
So
unless
you
see
something
you
want,
we
just
left
it
alone
and.
D
I
I
saw
a
number
of
things
on
it.
You
know
free
point,
a
you
know
that
I
felt
was
not
really
needed
anymore.
In
the
plan,
foreign.
U
D
T
A
D
T
You
saying
the
three
a
bullets
three.
T
Four
and
what
the
motion
would
be
to
approve
to
reapprove
the
health
and
safety
plan,
with
the
deletion
of
the
way
you
could
state
it
is
items,
three,
a
bullets,
two
three
and
four,
three,
four
and
three
four
and
five
excuse
me
and
if
you
say
it
that
way,
I'm
reading
it
yeah,
he
doesn't
create
any
chat
problems
to
your
point.
That's
what
I.
T
Mr
godickson
is
requesting
that
the
plan
be
reapproved
to
comply
with
the
federal
mandate
with
the
deletion
of
Section
3
a
bullet
two
three.
Four
and
five:
are
you
affirming.
A
Do
you
clarify
the
situation?
We
all
don't
have
that
plan
in
front
of
us.
So
I
would
like
the
deletion
items
to
be
spoken.
Okay,
you're.
T
Section
three:
a
bullet
number
three:
this
is
a
bchd
recommends.
Schools
continue
to
allow
the
option
for
students
and
staff
to
wear
masks
his
point
in
deletion.
Is
we
state
that
in
bullet
number
one?
So
it
doesn't
really
change
anything
because
we're
complying
with
their
recommendation
that
it's
optional,
because
we
always
say
we're
optional
bullet.
A
T
Still
because
we
we
don't
have
to
have
it
because
it's
okay,
we've
already
affirmed
that
bullet
number,
one
that
we're
everyone's
individual
option
all
right.
Thank
you.
Bullet
number.
Two
masking
exception
is
a
person
who
cannot
wear
a
mask
or
cannot
say
if
it
were
a
mask,
because
a
disability
is
defined
by
American
Disabilities
Act,
because
we
no
longer
have
masking
and
should
that
ever
happen,
we
have
to
comply
with
the
federal
law
and
you
can't
do
anything
to
not
comply
with
it.
T
So
unless
it
was
a
mandate,
it
has
no
the
issue,
so
we
would
be
deleting
masking
exception
as
a
person
who
cannot
wear
a
mask
or
cannot
say
if
you
wear
a
mask
because
of
a
disability
or
is
to
find
a
miracle.
Disability
Act
CSD
will
discuss
the
possible
the
possibility
of
reasonable
accommodations
with
workers
who
are
fully
vaccinated,
who
are
unable
to
wear
or
to
have
difficulty
wearing
a
certain
types
of
mask
because
of
a
disability.
That's
what
it
says
and
we.
A
So
I
would
like
Clarity
on
that
section.
Also
is
this
redundance,
or
is
this
flatly
saying
we
don't
need
to
wear
masks
any
longer.
T
A
T
Could
any
of
those
if
they
had
Authority
to
do
so
if
they
had
Authority
and
I,
say
it
that
way,
because
you
know
the
ruling
that
came
down
at
the
state
level,
at
least
the
other
part
of
this
about
a
disability?
That's
a
federal
law,
so
sometimes
disability.
We
have
the
government
I,
understand,
number
five
asking
exceptions:
a
person
from
home
wearing
a
mask
would
create
a
risk
of
Health
Medical
medical
documentation,
safety
or
job
duties,
determined
by
relevant
workplace
safety
guidelines
or
federal
regulations,
including
Ida,
is
what
it
states.
Please
note.
T
All
processes
and
procedures
are
based
upon
evaluation
and
current
conditions
and
circumstances
and
may
be
adjusted
as
necessary
or
as
a
result
of
new
information.
In
addition,
new
guidance
information
may
also
result
in
adjustments
to
the
masking
same
thing.
We
don't
have
any
masking
mandate.
Should
something
came
come
that
way
which
we
are
not
entertaining
or
discussing.
We
would
have
to
revisit
this
and
see
if
it
applied,
but
right
now
it
doesn't
have
any
implications
for
us.
A
Four,
so,
in
the
event,
once
again,
God
forbid,
because
there
are
problems
out
there,
this
would
come
down
the
pike
again
say
once
again,
hypothetically,
please
don't
take
me
wrong
in
September
that
there
was
it.
You
know
the
flu's
everything's
going
falling
apart.
Would
we
this
board
have
to
go
back
in
an
amendus
report?
A
T
T
N
Stasky,
did
you
have
a
question
all
right,
so
I
didn't
write
that
down.
Did
you
get
I'm
like
just
like.
A
B
A
C
N
D
C
D
V
U
N
Okay,
so
Jim
do
we
have
to
re-read
that
one
again
or
no
you're
good?
It
should
be
good
all
right,
all
right,
so
then,
moving
on
to
7.2
be
it
resolved
at
the
Centennial
School
District
Board
of
school
directors.
7.2
approves
the
resolution
calling

reformed
by
the

of

of
the
Centennial

per
the
attached.
G
U
N
Okay,
so
that's
gonna,
be
eight
one
motion
passes:
okay.
Moving
on
to
7.3,

the

no

as

the

D
N
E
S
E
S
T
Don't
think
there's
anything
there
is.
This
is
a
there's,
an
application
of
a
voluntary
commitment
to
follow
the
principles
of
governance.
So
there
is
no
psba
has
no
leverage
or
stick.
These
are
a
part
of
your
embedded
in
your
policy
right
now.
This
is
updated.
Centennial
has
reaffirmed
these
on
a
yearly
basis,
but
there
is
no
law
or
Big
Brother
Mr
Martin
the
consequences
with
it.
W
Yeah
I
just
wanted
to
point
out
that
the
the
principles
as
stated
here
for
those
who
don't
have
it
in
front
of
them
are
lead
responsibly
act
ethically
plan
thoughtfully,
evaluate
continuously,
communicate,
clearly
Advocate
earnestly
and
govern
effectively.
So
that's
what
we're
deciding
if
we
want
to
approve.
E
T
X
D
N
A

there

none

Mr

U
O

No
okay,
is
it
okay?
Is
it
okay?
If
I
read
these
aloud
for
the
people
at
home,
in
case
they
aren't
looking
at
the
agenda
because
we
read
off
the

but
not
what
they
were
connected
to.

you.
A
E
You,
madam
chair,
there
are
four
items
anybody
have
any.
They
want
to
have
any
discussion
about
if
not
moving
forward
to
9.1
be
a
resolved.
Centennial

of
school
directors
approves
the

of
bills,
Investments
cafeteria
fund
budget
reports
and
general
cash
receipt
summary
from
November
22.
As
per
what
was
attached.
E
A
A
Okay,
excuse
me:
I
was
just
trying
to
make
sure
that
we're
staying
on
discussion,
item
number,
10,
board,
discussion
and
comments.
Any
board
members
have
any
items
they
would
like
to
discuss.
Madam
chair,
Martin.
E
Please
I
just
have
three,
hopefully
quick
items.
Number
one
I
would
appreciate
it
if,
at
some
point,
we
received
some
kind
of
update
on
where
we
stand
with
schedule
and
app
when
the
football
coach
situation,
how
many
applicants,
what
the
schedule
is
for
approval
and
such
I
would
appreciate
getting
that
at
some
point
as
we
move
move
forward
number
two.
E
There
was
a
concerning
item
to
me
anyway
in
the
in
the
acquirer
just
today.
As
a
matter
of
fact,
with
the
headline
it
said
this
Philly
Area,
School
District
could
have
virtual
instruction.
If
too
many
teachers
are
sick
happens
to
be
a
Bucks
County,
School,
District
I,
don't
know
how
accurate
that
is,
but
the
article
States
how
many
teachers
who've
been
out.
E
They
can't
find
substitute
teachers
and
the
board
there
suggested
that
they
have
virtual
school
if
in
fact,
they
can't
open
a
school
which
they
came
very
close
to
not
opening
I,
don't
know
what
the
status
is
in
our
school
district
or
what
our
planning
would
be
should
something
like
that
happen.
E
I
would
hope
that
if
it
does,
we
would
consider
not
doing
a
virtual,
which
certainly
has
been
demonstrated
not
to
benefit
the
students,
but
instead
find
days
of
vacation
days,
extend
the
school
year
so
to
students
who
have
the
benefit
of
actual
classroom
instruction
and
not
the
virtual
instruction,
which
is
proven
to
be
less
than
Sterling
for
the
benefit
of
students.
So
I
don't
know
what
we've
done
in
that
regard.
But
again
at
some
point,
I
would
appreciate
just
knowing
what
our
plan
would
be
should
something
like
that
happen.
E
Hopefully
it
won't,
but
we
do
have
a
Bucks
County,
School
District,
which
is
featured
in
the
Philadelphia
Inquirer,
probably
today
or
tomorrow,
and
that's
an
item
that
is
of
interest
to
me
and
lastly,
I
was
just
curious,
since
I
did
receive
a
correspondence
regarding
things
that
are
being
I
won't
say
taught,
but
discussions
are
being
held
with
students
and
the
Bucks
County
Peace
Center,
there's
one
that
was
brought
to
my
attention.
It
just
says:
Centennial,
Elementary
Schools
and
the
title
of
it
is
celebrating
me
celebrating
you
I'm
just
curious.
E
T
Yes,
yes
and
yes,
yes,
they
were
sent
home
communication
to
fifth
graders.
Yes,
they
were
instructed
in
a
communication
that
you
have
the
ability
to
opt
your
trial
out
and
they
get
an
alternative
assignment.
That's
worked
out
at
the
school
for
during
that
time
period,
so
parental
choice,
description
of
the
program
was
that
provided
in
advance
of
the
program,
and
we
had
a
very
few.
But
a
couple
people
choose
to
take
that
and
they.
E
T
S
T
That's
the
age-appropriate
group
that
they
believed
that
it
was
Target
at
Dr
best.
You
want
to
add
any
more.
We
also
try
to
make
for
age-appropriate
with
the
programs
and
stuff
it's
not
about
them
not
getting
along.
This
is
proactive
conversation
that
is
is
held
to
Again
part
of
our
instructional
program
for
the
well-being
of
kids.
Also,
learning
not
only
just
reading,
writing
and
math,
but
also
other
things
that
we
are
a
part
of
Dr
best.
X
Yes
and
as
Dr
Benton
said
this
program
specifically
targets
towards
the
Upper
Elementary
grades,
we
have,
for
over
a
decade,
run
the
girls
unlimited
program
with
our
seventh
grade
girls,
both
log
and
Klinger,
and
this
year
we're
in
year
two
of
the
peace
Center's
Thrive
program
that
we
run
with
our
10th
grade.
Students
during
health
class
in
the
fall
in
the
spring
semesters.
X
Celebrating
you
celebrating
me:
teach
them
how
to
get
along.
That
is
a
very
generic
description
of
it,
but
they
they
have
five
days
of
lessons
largely
built
around
building
Community
and
the
whole
point
is
for
students
to
be
celebrated
for
who
they
are
and
to
celebrate,
others
for
who
they
are.
X
I
believe
what
we
do,
but
this
is
a
targeted
program
that
that
pays
a
greater
level
of
appreciation
to
that
and
we
feel
like
it's
it's
an
appropriate
lesson
for
students
to
feel
as
though
they
belong
in
our
schools.
I
think
that
answers
your
question.
T
With
the
growing
differences
on
understanding
and
appreciating
differences,
children
also
have
to
have
an
opportunity
to
learn
what
that
means
and
how
to
do
that.
Well,
this
is
so.
For
example,
we
have
44
now
different
languages
spoken
in
our
district.
We
have
an
increase
in
the
number
of
of
students
who
also
come
from
different
countries.
We
also
following
up
on
a
call
that
you
have
with
me.
This
is
a
part
of
helping
them
understand
how
to
appreciate
each
other
and
celebrate
the
differences
that
exist,
that
they
don't
have
to
be
something
that's
fearful
or
misunderstood.
T
That
also
gets
to
culture
and
climate
in
a
building,
so
everyone
feels
like
they
belong
inside
the
school.
That's
something
that
you
also
learn
and
are
taught
you
don't
come
out
necessarily
knowing
that.
So
we
want
everyone
to
feel
valued,
and
this
is
a
structured
program
that
helps
with
that.
You.
T
S
T
Were
sent
in
information
on
what
the
program
is
about
so
again,
if
there
is
an
issue,
a
parent
had
an
opportunity
to
exclude
their
child.
We
give
parental
choice
in
this
District.
That's
the
important
thing,
but
there
are
people
who
actually
also
appreciate
that
option
to
have
it
so
no
one's
being
forced.
N
Just
just
hearing
that,
in
your
description
of
it
to
to
help
any
student
feel
that
they
are,
they
belong.
That
sounds
absolutely
wonderful.
I
mean
it
kudos
to
whoever
put
that
up
there,
that
that
sounds
wonderful,
that
you're
gonna,
you
know
appreciate
each
other
and,
and
you
get
a
feeling
of
belonging
with
with
your
classmates
I,
think
that's
fantastic
Miss.
S
Just
want
to
make
sure
they
get
the
whole
outline
and
know
exactly
because
I
I
got
a
lot
of
feedback.
I
didn't
even
know
about
it
from
parents
saying
why
are
you
teaching
my
kids
that
they're
that
they're
different
they're
different
because
of
the
color
of
their
skin
and
I,
said
I'm,
not
teaching
them
anything?
That's
that's
not!.
S
T
A
O
W
Just
a
quick
notice
that
psba
has
scheduled
a
meet
and
greet
with
our
new
representative
elect
Brian
Monroe
for
directors
and
superintendents
it'll
take
place
via
Zoom
Wednesday
December
21st
at
noon.
If
you
didn't
receive
the
email
and
you
would
like
to
join,
let
me
know,
and
I
can
make
sure
to
get
that
information
to
you
would
I
be
able
to
speak
in
my
capacity
as
liaison
to
CEF.
Briefly,
yes,
thank
you.
W
Dr
Katara
spoke
earlier
about
the
spirit
program,
but
I
have
the
pleasure
of
working
with
him
and
his
role
as
executive
director
of
CEF,
and
just
today,
Centennial
Education
Foundation
posted
a
video
to
Facebook,
looking
back
at
the
great
successes
of
2022
and
thanking
Community
sponsors
for
making
cef's
grants
and
support
of
our
students
and
teachers
possible.
W
So,
just
a
little
plug
to
keep
CEF
in
mind
this
giving
season
as
I
often
say,
I
can't
think
of
a
better
cause
to
support
than
our
kids,
so
I'm
grateful
to
have
served
as
liaison
to
Centennial
Education
Foundation
for
2022
and
I
definitely
hope
to
continue
in
that
role
next
year,
they're
a
wonderful
group
of
people
and
have
done
so
much
for
CSD
over
the
past
quarter
Century.
So
thank.
U
A
D
We
have
not
had
in
the
month
of
December,
actually
it
was
canceled,
but
we
did
couldn't
finish
the
interview
process
for
the
assistant
director
and
have
made
a
recommendation
not
sure
if
the
person
has
accepted
yet
also
on
December,
the
1st
we
had
an
incredible
open
house
at
mbit
parking
lot
was
overflowing
building
was
crowded,
so
a
very,
very
successful
open
house,
with
many
students
already
applying
on
December
1st,
so
we
are
already
looking
at
record
applications
coming
in
for
the
coming
of
school
year.
Thank
you.
A
V
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
My
name
is
Melanie
Miller
good
evening
board.
Members
and
administrators
I
am
here
tonight
to
seek
support
in
revising
policy.
206,
which
outlines
School
assignment
within
the
district
I
want
this
revised
to
allow
my
children
to
attend
the
same
school
see.
My
oldest
son
is
currently
in
first
grade.
He's,
amazingly
wonderful,
and
it
just
so
happens
that
he's
autistic
because
we
live
in
the
Willowdale
attended
Zone.
He
was
reassigned
to
Davis,
because
Willowdale
does
not
have
the
autistic
support
services
that
he
needs.
V
V
He
will
start
kindergarten
in
what
seems
to
be
the
blink
of
an
eye.
His
older
brother
excitingly
tells
him
about
school.
How
he
is
proud
to
be
a
Davis
dolphin,
and
you
know
just
like
his
brother.
He
will
be
soon
too
one
day,
but
as
policy
206
stands
right
now,
that's
not
the
case.
It
breaks
my
heart
to
think
my
elementary
school
age.
V
Children
won't
be
able
to
attend
the
same
school
all
because
one
of
my
children
happens
to
be
autistic,
I
more
so
hate
that
I'll
have
to
explain
that
he
can't
go
to
the
same
school,
because
my
older
son
is
different
at
a
recent
September
13th
board
meeting
a
fellow
special
needs
family
brought
this
very
issue
to
the
board,
seeking
an
exception
for
her
daughter
to
attend
school
with
her
autistic
brother.
They
are
in
the
same
situation.
V
Thankfully,
her
request
was
approved
by
the
board,
but
it
didn't
come
quickly
or
easily
after
initial
denial
from
student
services.
She
had
a
fight
for
it,
which,
unfortunately,
is
something
special
needs.
Families
often
have
to
do
at
that
same
meeting.
Mr
Martin
actually
brought
up
an
excellent
point
and
said
that
the
year-to-year
exceptions
are
not
solving
the
root
cause
of
this
issue
and
that,
sooner
or
later
the
policy
should
change
well
I'm
asking
for
that
time
to
be
now.
V
This
should
not
be
a
year-to-year
exception
where
parents
have
to
cross
their
fingers
that
the
members
of
the
board-
maybe
you
want
to
be
kind
or
that
an
exception
will
actually
go
through
children-
should
be
able
to
make
school
memories
with
their
siblings
as
special
needs.
Parents
we're
always
jumping
through
hoops
hoping
that
something
will
go
our
way.
Anything
the
board
can
do
to
help.
Families
like
mine,
not
worry,
would
be
an
amazing
and
the
right
thing
to
do.
V
I
think
it's
important
to
note
that
this
isn't
a
choice
of
hours.
We
are
not
families
who
willingly
move
out
of
the
district
and
move
out
of
the
attendance
zones
and
want
exceptions
for
their
kids
to
go,
making
a
conscious
choice
of
what
we've
done.
This
is
completely
different.
Our
only
special
needs
families
who
have
children
attending
outside
of
their
school
attended.
Zone
excuse
me
assigned
zones
deal
with
this
issue.
V
The
number
of
us
impacted
may
not
be
that
astronomical,
but
the
impact
this
board
has
on
us
can
be.
The
board.
Has
the
power
to
do
the
right
thing
by
keeping
families
together
in
the
same
schools?
Please
do
the
right
thing
and
vote
to
have
policy
206
brought
to
the
administration's
the
policy
committee
for
revision.
Thank
you
for
your
time.
Thank.
A
Y
The
last
time
I
was
here:
I
pleaded
with
the
board
to
allow
my
children
to
attend
Davis
together
I
spoke
about
the
strain
it
was
already
putting
and
was
going
to
put
on
myself
as
a
single
mother
and
all
my
family
as
a
whole.
Today,
I
want
to
talk
about
how
the
decision
the
board
made
has
impacted
my
children
and
why
I
believe
policy
206
should
be
amended
to
allow
families
to
be
able
to
attend
the
same
school
together.
Y
My
daughter
has
flourished
since
she
started
attending
Davis
again
within
her
first
month
there
she
was
the
first
one
in
her
class
to
receive
student
of
the
month.
Is
this
a
picture
of
her
and
my
son,
who
was
there
to
attend
because
they
go
to
the
same
school
last
year,
my
son
was
able
to
walk
in
and
out
without
an
aid
because
he
was
walking
with
his
sister
when
she
returned
to
Davis
this
started
again
because
they
go
to
the
same
school.
They
have
each
other
to
offer
social
support.
Y
They
have
each
other
to
attend
school
events
with
they
have
each
other
to
say
hi
to
in
the
hallway.
They
go
to
gym
art,
Health
technology,
music,
library
and
everyone's
knows.
They
are
brother
and
sister.
They
are
part
of
a
community.
Together
they
get
to
experience
this
vital
part
of
their
childhood.
Together
they
are
Davis
dolphins
all
because
they
go
to
the
same
school,
taking
the
choice
away
from
parents
and
their
children,
as
is
increasingly
the
case,
can
have
a
long,
lasting
impact
on
the
concept
of
a
shared
family
experience.
Y
A
Z
Laura
McRae
Warminster
parents
and
fifth
graders
received
a
letter
stating
that
an
organization
called
the
Peace
Center
would
be
teached
coming
in
to
teach
our
fifth
graders
how
to
strengthen
the
classroom
community.
It
seemed
great
at
first
until
we
researched
the
organization
as
well
as
the
outline
I
was
stunned
to
learn
that
the
Peace
Center
is
affiliated
with
Bucks
County
socialists,
a
pcenter
takes
a
common
goal
and
takes
a
sharp
left
turn
the
I've
got.
Your
back
portion
in
the
outline
is
about
stopping
harassment.
Z
When
You,
See
It
by
overcoming
the
freeze,
Instinct
quote
the
rise
in
bystander
intervention.
This
is
from
the
book.
Not
the
outline
comes
at
a
moment
when
trust
in
the
institution's
historically
responsible
for
keeping
us
safe
is
crumbling.
This
is
far
left
radical
ideology
that
you
intend
to
teach
our
kids
10
year
olds
should
not
be
trained
to
intervene.
10
year
olds
should
be
taught
to
tell
an
adult.
Z
They
intent
to
apply
this
training
to
any
thought,
or
idea
that
Strays
from
The
Narrative
look
at
gender
stereotypes
and
how
children
are
told
they
can
be
harmful.
If
you
tell
a
child
that
it
is
harmful
to
point
out
differences
in
boys
and
girls
who
are
conditioning
them
to
accepting
things
like
men
and
women's
sports,
are
there
differences
in
gender
or
only
stereotypes?
That's
in
the
outline
check
it
out.
Why
can't
we
just
tell
our
children
that
boys
and
girls
can
be
and
do
whatever
they
want.
Z
They
shouldn't
make
fun
of
others,
and
at
the
same
time
no
one
should
give
value
to
what
other
people
think
their
inner
happiness
shouldn't
be
dependent
on
the
outside
world.
The
goal
of
I've
got
your
back
is
to
essentially
bully
anyone
who
Strays
from
The
Narrative.
It
is
a
group
think
Conformity
that
keeps
everyone
in
line
by
saying.
If
you
don't
agree
with
us,
then
you
are
being
harmful.
A
diverse
Community
includes
diversity
of
thought.
Diversity
is
not
everyone
looking
different,
but
thinking
the
same.
Z
Any
difference
of
opinion
is
considered
harmful
and
when
that
is
of
itself,
the
definition
of
an
untrue
stereotype
take
a
look
at
what
just
happened.
In
a
district
in
New
Jersey,
a
mother
complained
about
her
nine-year-old
having
to
do
an
assignment
on
her
own
sexuality.
Someone
had
called
the
authorities
on
this
mother
for
being
hateful.
This
is
the
road
we
are
headed
down.
Let's
talk
about
the
new
definition
of
allyship.
That
was
a
term
in
the
outline
words.
Without
action
are
considered
harmful.
Z
Being
an
ally
requires
calling
other
people
out
on
wrong
speech
to
control
everyone
into
Conformity
the
exact
thing
the
Peace
Center
claims
they
stand
against
as
they
blur
the
lines
between
fighting
against
bullying
and
training
children
to
become
bullies
themselves.
The
real
bullying
goes
unnoticed.
It
is
appalling
that
this
board
would
approve
a
radical
political
program
in
Disguise
to
come
into
our
schools.
Z
The
letter
sent
home
to
parents
did
not
fully
inform
us
of
the
political
nature
of
this
organization,
as
well
as
inform
parents
that
their
children
would
be
exposed
to
far
left
terminology
and
literature.
The
letter
was
presented
in
a
neutral
way
and
we
expected
it
to
be
taught
in
a
neutral
way.
This
is
sneaky
and
deceitful
by
Omission.
The
peace
Center's
true
intentions
are
to
subvert
conservative
parents
values
and
introduce
our
children
to
radical
left-wing
ideology
and
drive
a
wedge
between
them
and
their
parents.
Z
Yourself,
Dr
Benton
had
said
Equity
inclusion
is
going
to
take
many
years
to
implant
Implement
for
sure
you
can
help
speed
it
up.
By
going
around
us
and
straight
to
our
kids.
You
know
you
will
have
less
pushback
that
way.
It's
deceitful
it's
wrong
and
never
have
the
good
guys
been
those
two
go
after
other
people's
kids
and
I.
Just
wanted
to
say
that
that
paper
that
was
sent
home
was
very
different
from
the
outline
the
outline
had
left-wing
terminology
in
it.
That
was
not
included
on
the
paper
that
was
sent
home.
Z
Z
A
Time,
thank
you,
madam
chair.
Yes,
please,
but
before
you
get
into
it,
please
Mr
Martin
mentioned
the
article
someone
else
mentioned.
The
article
I
have
never
seen
the
article,
so
I
have
no
idea
what
is
in
it
does
anybody
else,
so
I
would
appreciate
in
some
way
shape
or
form
that
someone
forced
me
this
article.
T
Which
I
hadn't
seen
already
but
I
just
to
the
board
when
I
go
on
record
peace,
centers
existed
before
me,
so
I
resent
any
implication
that
I've
planned
something
to
go
around
people,
and
it's
been
here
long
before
me.
You've
heard
several
programs,
so
this
is
not
something
that
Dr
Baden
has
brought
or
done
since
arriving
here
and
quite
honestly,
I
want
to
go
on
record
that
some
of
that
is
has
undercurred
based
on
who
I
am
and
what
I
look
like
and
I'm
tired
of
it
implications
that
I'm
doing
something.
T
