A
School
District
becoming
a
high
performing
school
or
School
District
takes
years
of
sustained
commitment
reaching
that
level
takes
years,
ultimately
affecting
values,
attitudes,
beliefs
and
instructional
practices
to
improve
our
teaching
and
learning
our
outcomes
and
our
community's
return
on
investment.
Over
the
past
two
and
a
half
years,
CSD
has
been
working
to
implement
the
nine
characteristics.
Researchers
have
found,
High
performing
schools
or
school
districts
have
in
common.
A
As
Denzel
Washington
once
said,
don't
mistake
movement
for
Progress
because
you
can
be
moving
in
the
same
place
and
still
not
be
Progressive
I
hope
you
will
see
and
agree
that
CSD
continued
to
move
forward,
making
progress.
Despite
the
challenges
we
have
faced
over
the
past
couple
of
years.
Enrollment
is
up
a
variety
of
student
opportunities
for
academics,
Athletics
and
arts
continue
and
New
Frontiers
continue
to
be
explored
and
pursued
on
behalf
of
CSD
I
want
to
say
thank
you
and
celebrate
the
progress
we
have
made.

B
The
Centennial
School
District
was
recognized
as
a
2023
best
school
district
by
niche
CSD
earned
this
ranking
by
scoring
well
in
many
factors
that
aim
to
capture
what
it's
like
to
attend
school
in
the
district.
While
we
have
always
known
that
Centennial
School
District
is
a
great
place
to
learn
and
grow.
We
are
proud
of
our
students
and
staff
for
earning
this
National
distinction.
B
During
its
first
year
in
operation,
Centennial

Learning

led
to
over
one
million
dollars
of
cost
avoidance
by
providing
a
100
virtual
pathway
for
over
120
Centennial
students.
Now,
in
its
second
year
of
operation,
cvla
has
trained
and
is
utilizing
16
William
tenant
teachers
to
expand
our
virtual
learning
opportunities.
Centennial's
commitment
to
a
rich
ecosystem
of
K-12
learning
paths
has
led
us
to
be
featured
in
an
upcoming
book
on
K-12
virtual
learning
by
Dr
Stephanie,
Moore
and
Michael
Barber.
B
Centennial
School

part
of
their
efforts
to
provide

B
Bucks
County
Community,
College
and
Centennial
School
District
entered
into
a
partnership
agreement
intended
to
improve
educational
outcomes
and
provide
opportunities
for
automatic
admissions,
as
well
as
increase
dual
enrollment
opportunities
for
qualified
students.
This
agreement
will
facilitate
the
sharing
of
data
related
to
current
and
former
Centennial
students
as
part
of
the
agreement.
Qualified
rising

current
seniors
of

graduation.
In
addition
to
automatic
admission,
the
agreement
is
attended
to
approve
educational
opportunities
for
Centennial
School

students.
B
As
part
of
csd's
to
provide
Centennial
School
District
students
with
seamless
and
cost-effective
post-secondary
opportunities,
the
school
district
will
be
entering
into
an
agreement
with
Commonwealth
University,
which
will
not
only
guarantee
admissions
for
qualified
students,
but
also
provide
merit-based
scholarships
and
guaranteed
on-campus
housing.
This
agreement
provides
our
students
with
a
four-year
College
opportunity
that
aligns
well,
with
our
two-year
degree
and
career
options
offered
to
our
students,
via
our
recently
signed
automatic
admission
agreement
with
Bucks
County
Community
College.
C
Martin
Hayes
here
from
Klinger,
Middle,
School
and
I
just
wanted
to
share
a
few
words
about
how
great
things
have
been
going
in
both
of
our
middle
schools
since
we've
reimagined
middle
schools.
So
we
put
an
incredible
program
together
things
that
are
happening
now
for
kids,
with
teams
in
their
classes,
with
all
the
social,
emotional,
academic
learning
that's
going
on
with
our
students.
Things
have
been
great
we're
seeing
fabulous
growth
with
our
students,
both
academically
and
with
the
way
that
they're
treating
one
another
as
always
with
school,
especially
in
middle
school.
C
We
have
things
we
need
to
work
on
and
things
that
come
up
and
some
challenges
with
our
students,
but
the
way
that
they're
treating
one
another
the
way
they're
coming
to
school
every
day
with
great
attitudes
and
a
real
sense
of
belonging,
has
been
incredible.
So,
in
summary,
our
reimagined
middle
schools
have
been
fabulous.
Our
students
are
growing
academically,
they're
engaged
in
school
they're,
enjoying
their
classes
they're
having
great
relationships
with
all
of
the
adults
as
well
as
with
one
another
and
we're
seeing
so
many
gains.
It's
really
been
a
great
year,
foreign.
D
2022
was
a
good
year
for
us
in
the
office
of
teaching
and
learning
when
it
comes
to
curriculum.
We've
moved
all
of
our
curriculum
to
standards
aligned
to
match
up
with
the
Pennsylvania
Department
of
Education
academic
standards,
especially
in
the
core
4
subject:
areas
of
reading
English
language,
arts,
math
science
and
social
studies.
D
In
addition,
as
a
district,
we
moved
our
district
assessment
platform
to
I-Ready
and
IXL
we're
using
I-Ready
diagnostic
Assessments
in
math
and
reading
for
grades
K
through
8
and
I
excel
for
math
and
reading
in
grades
9
through
11,
and
those
two
assessment
platforms
are
providing
great
data
and
personalized
instruction
for
our
students.
One
of
the
great
results
we're
seeing
already
from
aligning
our
curriculum
to
Pennsylvania
academic
standards
is
great
student.
Academic
growth
on
state
assessments,
both
the
pssa's
and
Keystone.
D
Another
area
of
Pride
for
22,
two
for
the
office
of
teaching
and
learning
is
our
multi-year
professional
development
plan,
which
are
aligned
to
both
curricular
supports
and
improving
classroom
instruction
in
the
office
of
teaching
and
learning.
We
solve
great
growth
this
year,
also
with
internal
supports
when
it
comes
to
instructional
coaching.
D
An
additional
point
of
Pride
for
the
office
of
teaching
and
learning
in
the
last
year
has
been
through
the
production
and
sharing
out
of
our
Ed
talks
regarding
areas
of
curriculum
and
instruction
data
and
assessment.
We're
able
to
share
that
information
out
with
the
school
board
and
the
community
with
all
the
great
progress
that
we're
making
here
in
Centennial.
