Study Session August 15th, 2022

G
H
It
is
only
because
of
your
grace
that
our
country
was
created
by
men
who
are
not
perfect,
but
but
in
the
end,
put
together
a
constitution
that
allows
people
to
live
and
speak
freely.
Thank
you.
Jesus
help
us
not
to
forget
that
many
in
our
world
today
cannot
imagine
having
such
freedom
and
having
have
to
live
in
fear
of
their
government
officials.
I
G
Thank
you
pastor.
Thank
you,
council
member
council.
We've
got
two
items
on
our
consent
agenda:
the
previous
minutes
and
the
official
canvas
of
the
chandler
city
of
chandler
primary
election
of
august,
section
august,
2nd
2022
council.
How
would
you
like
to
proceed
council,
member
lopez.
J
Yeah,
so
congratulations
to
those
that
won
and
prevailed.
Of
course,
I
will
be
able
to
work
with
you
in
the
upcoming
months,
but
hopefully
again
we
can
work
together
in
the
future
beyond
that.
So
yes,
I
move
for
the
approval
of
the
city
council's
regular
meeting
of
august
15th
for
approval
items
one
through
two.
J
K
Yes,
council
member,
well,
it
is
important
that
we
realize
that
in
our
city
we
love
hard
and
we
love
well
and
today,
that
is
being
shown
that
we
are
receiving
to
new
council
members,
and
I
am
so
elated
to
work
with
them
in
the
next
couple
of
years
that
I
am
still
here
and
soon
to
continue
to
be
here.
The
idea
of
democracy
truly
had
his
way
in
our
city,
and
we
love
when
that
worked
for
all
of
us,
not
just
some
of
us,
and
so
I'm
grateful
that
I
was
able
to
witness
that.
K
Another
thing
that
I
wanted
to
really
congratulate
our
city,
in
is
the
fact
that
for
all
the
35
years
that
I
have
lived
here
in
chandler,
I
have
never
participated
in
one
of
our
elections
where
our
council
members
or
our
mayors
were
at
each
other's
throat
and
so
for
that
matter.
This
election
also,
we
saw
that
came
through
everybody
stayed
in
their
lane
and
they
pursue
what
they
desires
of
their
heart
were,
and
those
who
won
the
one
fairly.
So
thank
you
so
much
to
the
people
of
chandler
for
having
spoken.
K
E
Thank
you
mayor
and
congratulations
as
well
from
from
me.
What
a
great
race
by
everybody
that
that
ran
and
again
chandler
deserves
the
kind
of
races
that
were
run
this
cycle.
The
last
cycle,
the
cycles
before
that
to
echo
council
member
alice's,
sentiments
folks
here
run
on
their
merit,
and
so
we
don't
have
to
watch
a
bunch
of
negative
ads
or
things
like
that.
And
then
we
come
here
and
sit
down
and
work
on
behalf
of
our
community
and
we're
looking
forward
to
working
with
our
new
members.
D
D
You
mayor
all
right,
so
I
have
a
little
experience,
winning
and
losing
and.
D
That's
true,
and
so
I
know
how
hard
you
all
worked
and
so
to
that
end
today,
you're
you've
succeeded
and
please
please
consider
this
assignment
or
this
job
the
honorable
lifetime,
as
it
has
been
for
me
and
so
best
wishes
to
both
of
you.
M
Yeah
I
wanted
to
just
share
congratulations
to
councilmember
alex
casines
councilwoman.
I
I
And
I
will
be
remiss
not
to
acknowledge
council
member
elect
seen
as
his
family
is
here.
If
you
guys
can
stand
or
wave,
let
people
stand
up,
go
ahead,
stand
up
counselor
there
you
go.
A
I
We're
all
your
family
now,
so
there
you
go,
but
I
just
wanted.
I
just
wanted
to
share
you're
going
to
need
your
family,
because
when
the
days
are
long
here
and
the
nights
are
dark
and
you're,
not
for
sure
which
way
you're
going
to
lean
on
you're,
going
to
need
your
family
so
embrace
your
family,
let
them
be
the
leaning
that
you
need
to
have
during
this
time,
because
although
we
sit
in
this
seat,
it's
not
as
easy
to
maintain
a
seat
as
it
is
to
sit
in
the
sea.
I
L
Thank
you
mary.
I
realize
you're
going
down
the
gaia
side.
We
got
a
30-second
delay
on
the
on
the
videos
you
know.
No.
I
do
want
to
congratulate
you
mayor
for
your
re-election
and
all
of
the
the
candidates
that
did
run.
As
I
indicated
earlier,
I
had
a
chance
to
sit
down
with
all
of
them,
some
of
them
twice,
maybe
even
multiple
times
I
should
say,
and
all
of
them
had
really
good
reasons
why
they
want
to
run
and
they
really
had
their
care.
They
really
cared
for
chandler.
G
Thank
you,
sir,
and
to
you,
council,
member
orlando,
your
continued
experience
and
wisdom
is
going
to
serve
our
new
council.
Well,
I
look
forward
to
working
continued
with
you,
as
well
as
with
council
members,
elect
encinas
and
council
member,
elect
poston,
look
forward
to
bringing
our
seeing
our
strengths
of
our
new
council
and
the
directions
that
we
will
also
proceed.
That
will
change
because
of
new
voices
as
part
of
our
council.
G
I
also
want
to
give
a
thank
you
to
ahu
ran
it's
it's
just
hard
work
running,
there's
no,
there's
no
respite!
You!
You
put
your
heart
into
this
and
it's
just
not
for
the
timid
to
run
for
a
political
office,
so
whether
you
were
successful
and
and
moved
ahead
or
not,
I
do
want
to
applaud
all
who
ran.
This
is
just
it's
just
gut
wretching
yeah.
G
If
you
find
yourselves
not
on
the
on
the
positive
end
of
the
voter's
approval-
and
I
appreciate
that
as
well
as
others
up
here,
who
also
were
not
successful
their
first
time-
and
I
want
to
applaud
each
and
every
one
of
you
for
the
passions
that
you
have
for
our
city
and
hope
there
are
opportunities
to
stay
involved.
So
with
that
council,
our
elections
this
or
we
are
able
to
vote
for
this.
You
said
all
right.
Please
vote.
L
G
Clerk,
would
you
please
again
take
the
role
mayor.
G
D
G
Thank
you
much.
We
have
a
few
scheduled
public
appearances
and
I'd
like
to
invite
vice
mayor
rowe
to
join
me
up
front.
G
All
right:
first,
we
have
service
recognitions,
city
manager,.
N
C
Twan
started
as
a
technologist
on
the
information
technologies
in
oracle
team,
tuan
demonstrated
zeo
for
customer
service
and
expanded
his
role
to
other
enterprise
systems
as
well.
His
strong
work
ethic
and
attention
to
detail
was
instrumental
to
the
timely
delivery
of
neogov
and
energy
cap
interfaces.
Both
very
important
enterprise
applications
for
the
city
fund
is
always
willing
to
contribute
to
the
success
of
any
project
that
he
is
assigned
to
by
sharing
his
ideas
and
developing
a
quality
product.
His.
O
C
And
his
professional
interactions
with
nit
with
his
customers
and
business
stakeholders,
as
well
as
vendors,
has
always
had
a
positive
impact
on
the
team.
Tuan's
contributions
to
the
tax
and
licensing
portal
were
also
very
significant
when
he's
not
working.
Quan
is
also
a
great
talent
in
photography
and
editing,
as
well
as
something
that
I'd
like
to
share
with
everybody
playing
pool.
B
Tiffany
came
to
the
museum
10
years
ago
at
a
critical
time
and
quickly
showed
the
quiet
leadership
that
embodies
her
as
a
vital
member
of
the
chandler
museum
team.
Just
days
after
starting
the
new
job
she
rolled
up
her
sleeves
and
helped
to
physically
move
the
museum
out
of
its
current
out
of
its
long-term
home
in
front
of
the
downtown
library.
She
then
redesigned
the
museum's
school
field
trip
programming,
including
hiring
and
supervising
10
part-time
educators
serving
tens
of
thousands
of
chandler
students.
B
She
assisted
in
developing
the
initial
concept
approach
at
the
new
chandler
museum
and
during
construction,
coordinated
all
the
exhibits
that
would
later
be
in
the
museum.
She
has
supervised
every
single
public
program
that
the
museum
has
offered
in
the
last
10
years,
developed
the
chandler
brand,
the
chandler
museum
brand
and
oversees
the
chandler
chuck
wagon
cook-off
simply
put.
She
is
the
museum's
secret
secret
weapon,
congratulations
on
10
years
and
can't
wait
to
see
what
you
accomplish
in
your
next
10
years.
Tiffany.
P
P
P
These
include,
supervising
and
coordinating
the
child
watch
activities
must
have
been
fun,
facilitating
the
recreation
division,
annual
customer
service
training,
supervising
the
centralized
recreation
services
operations
and
serving
as
a
member
on
the
customers
customer
connection,
the
training
and
development
and
the
active
net
committees
crystal
exemplifies
the
city
of
chandler's
customer
service
philosophy
by
connecting
with
customers
using
her
resources
and
following
through
until
she
can
get
the
customer
exactly
what
they
want.
The
answer:
congratulations
crystal
on
your
15
years
of
service
with
the
city
of
chandler.
F
So
chrissy
began
her
career
in
our
9-1-1
emergency
communications,
section
as
a
dispatcher
back
in
2002
and
over
the
years
she
has
proven
herself
to
be
a
hard-working,
compassionate
and
dedicated
employee
in
2004
christie
joined
the
training
team
and
for
the
next
10
years,
was
very
much
involved
with
classroom
and
floor
training
for
new
dispatchers
and
during
this
time
christy
helped
rewrite
the
training
manual
and
implement
an
emergency
scenario.
Training
in
2013.
She
was
recognized
as
the
employee
of
the
year
and
in
2015,
christie
was
promoted
to
supervisor.
F
F
Now,
I'd
like
to
ask
officer
trinidad
raya
to
come
forward
recognition
of
his
20
years
of
service.
F
He
is
well
known
throughout
our
department
for
using
humor
and
empathy
to
help
de-escalate
tense
situations
and
trinidad
currently
serves
as
a
detective
in
the
financial
crimes
unit,
where
he
investigates
fraud
schemes,
identity
theft,
extortion
cases
and
other
crimes
that
involve
often
the
most
vulnerable
citizens
in
our
city.
His
years
of
service
experience,
knowledge
and
investigative
skills
are
an
asset
not
only
to
our
department
but
really
the
entire
chandler
community,
so
trinidad.
Thank
you
for
20
years
of
service
and
just
dedication
very
much
appreciated.
G
Chandler
public
library
promotes
academic
and
steam,
engagement
for
future
workforce
development,
early
literacy
and
a
lifelong
love
of
stories,
empowering
communities
in
which
patrons
can
thrive
and
whereas,
in
addition
to
boasting
book,
lined
shelves,
chandler
public
library
offers
thousands
of
resources,
all
age,
programming,
educational
workshops,
access
and
training
for
new
technologies,
and
whereas
chandler
public
library
joins
the
american
library,
association
and
libraries
nationwide
for
library
national
library
card
sign
up
month
to
encourage
community
members
to
obtain
a
free
library
card.
Now,
therefore,
I
kevin
hartke
mayor
of
the
city
of
chandler.
G
O
G
G
So
congratulations
on
being
elected
as
state
commander
for
the
arizona
department
of
the
american
legion
for
more
than
100
years.
Your
organization
has
helped
provide
rehabilitation
resources
to
countless
veterans,
including
many
rights
right
here
in
chandler.
So
thank
you
for
your
service
michael
over
the
years,
and
thank
you
for
taking
on
this
new
role
as
state
commander
have
a
certificate.
We
want
to
take
a
pic
and
page
two.
G
We've
had
a
few
items
that
have
been
called
in
either
questions
or
comments.
The
first
is
item
number
nine
councilmember.
Orlando
had
some
questions
related
to
our
communications
license
agreement,
so
is
all
right.
The
right
person
is
here
councilmember,
orlando,
thank.
L
You
mayor
yeah,
I
called
this
one
in
because
it's
a
very
exciting
project.
We
have
some
more.
We
obviously
have
some
more
wireless
being
put
in
our
ground
and
I
guess
I
wanted
to
ask
staff
once
they
complete
the
initial
right-of-way
acquisition
and
do
the
two
loops
they're
talking
about.
What's
the
next
step,
how
does
a
resident,
I
guess,
tapped
into
this
or
a
business
unit,.
Q
Q
The
next
steps,
after
the
the
the
main
lines
are
laid
in
to
the
streets
they'll,
do
a
build,
build
out
to
the
fiber
to
the
to
the
neighborhoods
and
then
from
there
they'll
notify
the
neighborhoods
that
they've
built
to
that
those
that
those
lines
are
ready
for
service
and
they
can
call
in
and
request
service
they'll
keep
them
up
to
date
as
well
on
the
website.
Q
So
you
can
kind
of
follow
it
to
see
where
they're
building
out
in
chandler,
and
at
that
point
you
can
request
service,
there's
no
additional
construction
cost,
but
you
will
have
the
monthly
service
fees
associated
with
that.
L
Q
Through
the
mayor
council,
member
orlando,
yes,
we
have
a
few
other
licenses
that
are
currently
in
work
with
some
other
providers.
There's
also
a
couple
of
other
providers
that
already
have
licenses
in
chandler
that
have
traditionally
focused
on
the
commercial
customers
that
are
also
looking
at
coming
in
to
do
fiber
to
the
home
projects
as
well.
G
Thank
you
mayor
all
right,
councilmember
stewart.
E
Thank
you,
matt.
Thanks
for
bringing
this
up,
I
think
you
remember
when
we
were
at
national
league
listening
to
discussions
about
dark
fiber,
so
I
want
to
thank
josh
and
the
rest
of
staff
for
for
acting
and
taking
those
suggestions
back
because
that's
going
to
continue
to
move
our
city
forward.
So
thank
you
very
much.
G
G
K
Thank
you
mayor.
Well,
I
was
waiting
for
you
to
get
to
the
aquarium.
Thank
you
chief
again,
I
always
like
to
bring
these
things
to
light
and
whenever
we
are
doing
this
type
of
transaction
through
our
police
or
our
fire
to
the
betterment
of
the
services
that
we
render
to
our
people
here
in
the
city
of
chandler.
Just
wanted
you
to
kind
of
give
us
an
overview.
K
Why
we
did
this
and
when
someone's
looking
at
three
million,
like
they're,
looking
at
all
this
money
being
spent
on
different
vehicles,
and
things
like
that
had
a
couple
of
questions
about
the
vehicle
themselves,
but
I
would
like
you
to
go
ahead
and
give
us
an
understanding
why
this
is
needed
and
how
we
going
about
doing
this
right
now.
F
Well,
thank
you
for
the
question.
Well,
obviously,
we're
relying
on
vehicles
to
do
our
job
and
after
a
certain
duration,
the
vehicles
need
to
be
replaced.
So
the
majority
of
these
of
the
37
vehicles
being
requested.
The
majority
of
those
are
replacing
existing
vehicles,
whether
they're
patrol
vehicles
out
on
the
street
or
vehicles
that
are
to
texas
drive,
but
also
including
this
are
including
this
request-
are
a
number
of
new
vehicles
council
approved
last
month,
the
new
behavioral
health
unit.
So
these
are
vehicles
to
fund
that
new
team.
F
K
Thank
you
chief.
Now
you
talk
about
the
behavioral
unit
that
this
is.
As
you
know,
this
is
my
passion,
and
this
is
truly
what
I
would
like
to
to
see.
We
we
had
this
talk
about
that
or
any
one
of
those
vehicles
are
going
to
be
hybrid
and
are
we
looking
in
the
future
since
chandler
is
the
city
of
innovation
and
we're
looking
to
always
empower
our
police
department
or
our
men
and
women
in
uniform
to
do
the
best
jobs
that
they
can
with
the
latest
technology?
F
I
don't
believe
any
of
these
vehicles
being
purchased
are
hybrid.
I
I'm
not
exactly
sure
for
our
detective
vehicles.
I
will
defer
that
to
maybe
my
collinsworth.
We
do
currently
have
seven
hybrid
patrol
vehicles
that
are
inner
fleet.
We've
had
those
for
over
a
year
now
they
actually
have
a
green
line
on
the
side
and
on
the
backs,
so
the
public
can
tell
it's
a
hybrid
vehicle,
so
those
are
still
pretty
much
in
the
beta
testing.
It
will
make
an
assessment
over
some
time
whether
that's
a
direction.
We
want
to
move
forward.
K
E
Especially
josh,
so
all
these
vehicles
that
are
on
this
page,
they
come
out
of
the
general
fund
right
and
we
have
a
vehicle
replacement
fund.
I
think,
but
they're
all
from
different
cost
centers
is
that
right,
so
how
many
different
costs
and
like
putting
on
a
spot
here,
but
how
many
different
cost
centers
and
why
are
they
all
on
one
instead
of
like
like?
E
There
might
be
some
things
in
here
that
I
have
a
little
bit
of
angst
about,
but
I
certainly
don't
want
to
keep
our
police
department
from
being
properly
equipped,
but
there
might
be
something
where
we
bought
a
tractor
two
years
ago
and
maybe
we
get
another
year
out
of
it.
But
that's
all
in
here.
So
I
can't
vote
no
just
curious.
N
Yeah,
mr
mayor
councilmember,
stewart,
as
you
noted,
these
do
all
come
from
the
general
fund
or
from
the
vehicle
replacement
funds.
So
chandler,
I
think,
actually
did
a
very
smart
thing.
A
number
of
years
ago
was
setting
up
a
vehicle
replacement
fund.
This
was
an
idea
that
came
about
that.
Frankly,
a
lot
of
cities
struggle
with
where
we
put
money
toward
the
eventual
replacement
of
that
vehicle
every
year
on
an
incremental
basis.
N
So
by
the
time
that
vehicle
reaches
the
end
of
its
usable
life,
we're
already
funded
for
the
replacement,
we're
not
scrambling
to
find
that
money
or
taking
it
out
of
capital
dollars
somewhere
else.
Yes,
I
won't
count
all
the
different
fund
sources
are
on
here,
but
I
will
say
to
summarize
what
you're
purchasing
here,
81
or
45
vehicles
are
public
safety
related,
primarily
police,
but
there
are
a
few
from
fire
as
well,
and
then
another
18
or
19
vehicles
are
related
to
service
vehicles.
N
You
see
in
the
field
so
that
could
be
park,
maintenance
vehicles
or
some
other
practical
service
application
that
you're
going
to
see
with
a
service
body
on
the
road
there's
only
one
vehicle.
That
is
not
related
to
that.
It's
a
replacement
of
another
pool
vehicle
that
we
have
so
it's
99
related
to
direct
field
service
to
our
our
citizens.
N
Years
and
so
we
actually,
I
think
everybody
learned
a
lot
we're
going
way
back
to
the
recession.
N
Obviously,
before
I
came
here
too,
and
there
was
a
massive
effort
to
right-size
the
fleet
that
continues
what
we
call
the
fleet
advisory
committee
that
meets
every
time,
we
do
one
of
these
actions
to
replace
vehicles
where
we
go
through
literally
vehicle
by
vehicle
and
make
sure
we're
actually
getting
the
right
vehicle
for
the
application
and
that
it's
the
right
time
to
replace
it
or
if
it
needs
to
be
extended
for
a
few
more
years
based
on
mileage
and
service
records.
Thank
you,
sir.
L
Yeah
mayor,
I
did
talk.
Thank
you
mayor.
I
did
talk
to
chief
today.
I
was
asking
the
question
why
this
has
gone
up
year
over
year
and
the
bottom
line
is
the
actual
unit.
Price
cost
has
not
gone
up.
It's
just
the
fact
that
we've
had
more
more
calls
for
service.
So
in
fact,
in
some
years
the
actual
unit
price
per
call
has
gone
down.
So
I'm
okay
with
this
again,
it's
just
because
we're
a
busy
city.
G
All
right,
thank
you.
I
don't
number
25
concerning
juneteenth
start
with
council
member
harris
and
councilmember
ellis
also
had
comments.
Councilmember
harris.
I
Yes,
thanks
mayor
just
wanted
to
highlight
this
particular
thing.
You
know
when
I
was
elected
in,
I
wanted
to
make
sure
that
I
use
my
transferable
skills
and
to
balance
my
community
to
making
sure
that
we
have
a
balanced
community
as
well
as
economic
growth.
Today
we
stand
as
an
organization
as
a
government
organization
that
represents
people,
but
also
we
are
organization
that
represents
the
community,
but
we're
also
an
organization
that
that
has
almost
1700
personnel
people
working
for
us.
I
It's
a
competitive
market
out
there
and
economic
development
is
real
and
hiring
employees
is
real,
and
that
is
critically
important
as
a
city
of
innovation
and
innovation.
When
you
look
that
up,
it
says
continuing
the
success
of
any
organization,
this
council
have
set
forth
the
path
for
future
workforce
inclusion
and
for
the
longevity
of
our
kids.
So
that
way
they
can
stay
here.
I
When
kids
decide
to
go
out
of
our
community
and
when
people
decide
to
leave
our
community,
that's
because
they
feel
there's
another
community
out
there
that's
better,
but
we
want
to
continue
to
re-emphasize
the
fact
that
we
are
the
best
community
for
them
to
live,
work
and
stay
in.
We
are
a
community,
that's
growing.
We
are
a
community,
that's
moving
forward
and
we
are
forward-thinking
and
having
happiness
again
as
I
share
it.
I
It
attracts
people
to
stay
in
our
city,
this
particular
holiday
and
having
our
recreational
facilities
open,
keeps
large
gatherings
out
of
our
housing
communities
and
pushes
into
a
safely
monitored
public
areas.
This
is
why
some
of
our
facilities
will
be
open,
so
people
can
go
to
the
park,
so
they
can
go
swimming
and
they
can
do
these
things
while
celebrating
a
holiday
holidays,
do
bring
forth
gathering
of
people.
Chandler
continues
to
be
that
bridge
where
we
can
gather
and
bring
people
together
and
celebrating
juneteenth
holiday.
I
K
Councilman
really
appreciate
that
before
we
I
got
under
the
ass
this
afternoon,
I
had
an
opportunity
to
speak
with
council
member
harris
and
decided
that
we
were
not
going
to
try
to
repeat
what
each
other
had
to
say
concerning
this
this
holiday.
But
my
point
that
I
would
like
to
make
this
evening
is
the
fact
that
we
have
people
in
chandler
who
have
been
celebrating
these
holidays
for
years
and
not
even
looking
far
right
around
the
square.
K
Here
we
have
chandler
for
help,
and-
and
we
also
have
the
south
side-
helped
all
these
groups.
For
years
upon
years,
they
have
been
celebrating
this
holiday.
What
made
it
now
possible
for
us
to
be
able
to
call
this
holiday
or
holiday,
where
the
city
itself
is
acknowledging
it
number.
One
is
the
fact
that
the
federal
government
has
that
stand
and
took
a
stand
to
it,
and
once
they've
done
that,
then
that
gave
us
also
an
idea
to
bring
people
together.
K
Is
it
something
that
we
can
do
that
will
really
provide
an
avenue
for
the
people
of
china
to
feel
that
they
are
all
part
of
this
city
in
recognizing
this
holiday
at
that
level,
I
have
to
say
that
we
are
so
proud
of
our
staff
for
what
they
have
done.
They
bought
us
something
that
was
very
concurrent.
They
bought
us
something
relevant,
they
look
into
it.
K
I
would
also
like
to
thank
my
peers
up
here
for
saying
yes
to
this,
it
was
not
just
a
yes,
it
was
just
us
sitting
down
again
and
looking
at
it,
each
other
bringing
our
own
past
experience,
bringing
our
own
cultures
having
discussion
about
it
to
make
sure
that
we
come
up
with
something
that
was
going
to
benefit
everybody.
I
want
to
thank
you
all
for
that
and
lastly,
I
would
like
to
thank
the
manager's
office
for
having
put
mr
willie
our
assistant
manager
over
this
department.
K
For
I
mean
you
can
actually
say
this
is
one
of
your
first
feather
in
your
cap
being
over
the
diversity
office
and
making
this
happen
for
us
here
in
the
city
of
chandler.
So
I
appreciate
you
all
and
I
thank
you.
Let's
continue
to
work
together
through
everything
else
that
we
all
have
at
the
table
currently
and
those
things
that
all
to
come
for
us
to
make
chandler
a
better
place
to
live.
Always
thank
you
mayor.
G
G
L
G
L
Thank
you
mayor.
I
appreciate
that
and
really
a
couple
of
things
here.
Obviously,
water
and
availability
of
water
sure
water
supply
is
a
top
top
top
subject
in
our
our
state
and
country,
and
I
think
this
is
not
just
designating
the
fact
that
we've
assured
water
supply
this.
This
is
this
is
sending
a
big
message
to
the
residents
of
chandler
that
we've
looked
at
all
the
options.
L
We've
looked
at
all
the
things
we've
done
over
the
last
few
years
and
we
do
have
it,
and
this
just
certifies
that-
and
I
think
this
is
kudos
to
to
all
of
us-
the
council
and
the
staff
and
working
together
and
making
sure
that
we
could
actually
sign
this
letter
and
tell
our
make
our
residents
feel
assured
that
we
could
deliver
and
our
businesses
by
the
way
that
we
could
deliver.
So
thank
you.
L
G
All
right
do
you
have
anything
you'd
like
to
say
john.
R
R
R
The
1980
groundwater
act
does
require
that
the
cities
cities
within
the
active
management
areas
do
submit
a
100-year
shared
water
supply
to
ensure
that
each
city,
each
municipality,
has
resources
adequate
for
build
out
and
and
and
chandler
does
the
city.
Since
our
last
designation
has
acquired
a
substantial
additional
water
supply
to
take
us
to
that
build-out
condition.
R
We
are
submitting
early
this
time
we
are
submitting
about
a
year
early,
and
we
have
decided
to
do
that
because
we
really
want
to
set
a
very
high
mark
for
those
other
municipalities
in
the
valley
to
live
up
to
and
then.
Finally,
I
did
want
to
thank
and
the
reason
why
I
wanted
to
speak
tonight
was.
I
did
want
to
thank
simone
josrud
and
our
recently
retired
greg
capps
for
their
diligent
work
on
this
project.
R
Greg
retired
from
the
city
after
23
years
last
friday
and
greg
chose
this
as
his
his
kind
of
parting
gift
to
the
city,
and
that's
why
we
wanted
to
get
it
done,
and
it
was
very
important
that
greg
was
on
his
bucket
list
to
give
to
the
city
and
with
the
hard
work
of
simone
and
greg
together,
we
were
able
to
get
that
done
so
for
the
city
and
for
the
residents
chandler.
G
Counsel,
any
questions
or
comments
related
to
this.
If
not,
that
concludes
our
study
session,
see
you
at
six
o'clock
on
thursday.
