Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right
so
welcome
to
the
august
24th
2021,
kiosk,
weekly
community
call.
Please
fill
in
your
names
at
the
top.
Tell
us
one
good
thing
in
your
life
recently
and
let's
proceed
with
the
agenda.
A
So
from
the
dei
working
group
there
was
a
discussion
about
first-person
language
in
metrics
and
there's
some
anecdotal
information
that
someone
shared,
should,
I
say,
a
disabled
person
or
person
with
a
disability
which
seems
unrelated
to
the
question
about
person
first
language.
So
perhaps
somebody
from
the
dei
group
could
bring
us
up
to
speed
on
this
question.
C
C
Matt,
I'm
not
necessarily
a
big
source
of
knowledge
for
this,
because
it's
kind
of
new
to
me
too,
but
it's
basically
person
first
language
is
a
matter
of
if
you
put
the
person,
the
identity
of
the
person
first
to
the
the
identity
of
the
disability
and
then
the
person,
so
it
would
be
like,
like
I
think,
disabled
person
would
would
put
that
disability
first
and
saying
person
with
a
disability
would
say
this
is
a
person
and
one
aspect
of
them
is
they
have
a
disability
like
one
specific
thing,
you're
normally
talking
about,
but
I
said
it's
that's
completely
irrelevant
there,
the
anecdotal
story,
but
it
has
it
has
to
do
with
inclusive
naming,
but
it
also
has
some
some
aspects
that
are
outside
the
realm
of
inclusive
naming
just
about
the
context
of
the
naming
itself.
C
So
that's
that's
really
what
we
talked
about
in
the
dei
meeting.
We
didn't
go
into
a
very
long
discussion
about
it,
but.
C
Yeah,
I
think
I
think,
having
person
first
language
and
all
of
the
chaos
metrics
when
it
comes
to
talking
about
people
in
certain
situations
or
experiencing
certain
issues,
would
having
that
in
all
aspects
of
chaos
would
be
ideal,
but
at
least
having
some
way
to
say.
I
noticed
that
this
doesn't
have
person
first
language
and
I'd
like
to
remedy
that
would
would
be,
would
be
a
great
compromise
as
well,
and
does
that
sorry
go
ahead?
Do.
C
Yeah
normally
it
comes
with
normally
person-first
language
implies
that
there
is
some
like
you
use
it
in
a
situation
where
there's
there's
some
kind
of
detriment
to
the
person
that
is
experiencing
the
issue,
but
it
doesn't
hurt
to
do
that.
It
might
not
be
worth
as
much
effort
if
we're
not
talking
about
something
like
something,
a
situation
in
which
the
person
is
experiencing
adversity,
but
it
wouldn't
hurt
to
do
that
as
well.
A
Okay,
that's
really
great
to
to
keep
in
mind
and
look
forward
to
some
of
the
general
chaos
guidance,
possibly
getting
into
our
handbook.
C
We'll
probably
be
figuring
it
out
in
the
dei
work
group
before
we
have
any
more
conclusive
stuff
to
say
about
it.
All.
A
Right,
thanks
for
introducing
that,
does
anyone
have
any
questions
about
it?.
A
I'll
interpret
silences.
No,
the
next
might
item
on
the
agenda
is
the
upcoming
metrics
release,
and
all
working
groups
are
ideally
using
this
week
to
as
a
final
push
for
finishing
up
metrics.
I
know
in
the
risk
working
group
we
moved
our
every
other
week
meeting
up
to
this
week
so
that
we
could
finish
a
metric
one
more
metric
and
are
there
other
working
groups
that
have
anything
to
say
about
their
progress.
B
All
right,
I
think
things
are
moving
along
pretty
well,
I'm
trying
to
take
notes,
yeah
right.
D
B
B
Pretty
well
I
at
least
in
attending
the
the
other
meetings.
I
don't
feel
like
any
buddy.
F
B
F
B
Like
concerned
with
the
release
or
the
process,
or
anything
like
that,
I
think
it
might
remind
everybody
that,
as
you
have
new
releases,
maybe
you
could
just
take
a
second
here
and
add
the
new
metrics
or
updated
metrics
to
the
translations.
Repo.
A
A
B
A
B
B
A
G
Okay,
there
actually
is
a
template
text
to
drop
into
these
issues.
G
No,
that's
a
that's
a
different
template,
so
we
we
have.
We
have
language
that
we
would
like
you
to
use
when
you
create
this
issue.
G
D
G
A
G
G
We
have
not
included
that
in
the
handbook,
yet
apparently,
okay,
okay,
so
that'll
that'll,
be
upcoming,
so
for
for
now
just
make
sure
that
you're
linking
to
the
metric
okay.
This
is
fine
for
now.
Yes,
okay,.
A
Okay,
yeah
and
if
maybe
just
send
us
a
note
when
it's
released
into
the
handbook,
and
we
can
you
then
use
that
template.
A
G
The
appropriate
time,
the
time
that
we're
asking
you
to
create
that
translation
issue
is
at
the
same
time
that
you
create
the
issue
in
your
working
group.
Repository
okay,
create
the
issue
in
your
working
group
repository
and
then
immediately
go
to
the
translation,
repo
and
create
the
translation
issue
there
and
then
link
to
your
link
to
the
the
document,
but
also
link
to
the
the
working
group
issue.
G
Okay,
so
that
gives
that
gives
the
translation
team
a
heads
up,
that
the
work
needs
to
be
done
and
they
can
begin
working
on
the
translation
before
the
before
the
review
period
is
is
over,
which
is
something
that
they've
they've
requested
that
they
want
to
be
able
to
work
on
it
immediately.
Okay,
that
seems
reasonable.
A
E
A
A
A
G
Not
a
new,
it's
not
a
new
issue,
though
you
continue
using
that
issue,
and
yes,
you
can
you
can
let
them
know
that
something
has
changed,
but
ultimately,
what
the?
What
the
working
group
has
decided
right
now
is
that
they,
the
the
translation
team,
feels
that
they
are
able
to
keep
track
of
that
through
the
review
process.
G
So,
okay,
and
they
are
aware,
they're
aware
that
when,
when
a
metric
enters
that
review
period,
that
it
can
be
edited
multiple
times,
so
they
are
aware
of
that
and
they
feel
confident
that
they
will
be
able
to
to
get
that
that
final
edit
done.
Okay,.
H
H
A
E
G
A
Yeah,
no
that's
correct.
I
know
I
haven't
added
this
text
to
any
of
our
release
issues.
So
I
this
is.
I
love
checklists.
A
B
Yeah
and
so
thanks
to
gayorg
and
lucas
for
for
spending
time
on
this
and
getting
it
together
so
and
kevin
and
vinod
also
and.
H
B
And
vanad,
so
thank
you.
I
like
they're
just
great.
I
love
it
in
the
badging
process.
You
know
what
I
mean
because
matt
has
implemented
these
and
they're
just
really
helpful
to
organize
work,
especially
like
work
that
is
repeated
over
and
over
again.
You
know
it's
just
yeah
great,
so
what's
the
so,
if
I
was
to
add
it
say
to
I'll
just
pick
this
one
and
put
it
in
the
chat
so
like
this
issue.
H
G
And
the
the
top
of
the
checklist
text
actually
includes
the
that
kind
of
header
text.
That's
there
now
all
right.
What
do
you
mean
the
issue.
B
A
Don't
know
what
okay
I
got
too.
D
G
That
that
first
block
of
text,
this
issue
is
created
to
collect
comments
about
the
rolling
release
of
blank.
It
can
be
found
here
cl
release
candidates,
those
three
lines
at
the
top.
That
was
the
that's
the
template
text
that
we
have
been
asking
for
prior
and
it
is,
it
is
still
included
in
this
template.
G
A
B
A
A
J
All
right,
by
the
way,
georg,
the
current
version,
there
should
have
your
requests
from
last
week.
Awesome.
Thank
you.
A
B
A
A
C
Would
it
be
helpful
to
identify
people
in
each
working
group
who
would
be
willing
to,
or
maybe
more
than,
one
person
in
each
working
group
that
would
be
willing
to
go
through
these
new
issues
comments
and
go
through.
E
The
checklist,
but
there
has
been
a
different
practice
on
this,
some
working
group
like
one
or
two
person,
does
it,
but
in
other
working
room
who
has
especially
worked
on
the
metric,
he
tried
he
or
she
creates
the
pull
request
and
follow
the
entire
process
to
make
a
contribution
like
reflected
by
that
person.
E
So
these
are
the
different
practices
and
different
working
groups.
I
know,
especially
in
common
whoever,
has
worked
on
the
metric.
They
try
to
create
a
pull
request
and
submit
all
this
thing,
but
in
other
working
group
like
one
person
or
two
who
does
the
same
thing,
so
it
serves
at
different
practices
in
different
locking
groups.
G
In
answer
to
the
question,
though,
yes,
I
think
we
need
we
need
to
reach
out
to
the
working
groups
and
ask
them
to
do
this.
So
my
plan
has
been
to
try
to
attend
as
many
of
the
working
group
genes
this
week
as
possible
and
and
get
them
to
do
this.
G
B
A
B
So
this
is
I'll,
go
ahead.
Garen.
G
Well,
I
was
just
gonna
say
it's:
it
was
a
work
on
it
in
a
google
document
and
I
feel
like
we
started
working
on
this
almost
a
year
ago.
Yes,
so
this
was.
This
was
created
in
response
to
the
surveys
that
not
the
the
form
data
that
we
were
collecting
for
badging
and
for
the
community
reports.
B
A
B
B
D
Guess
the
slight
nuances:
it
included
badging
data
collection
as
well,
so
that's
sort
of
a
participation
with
the
metrics
and
with
the
program
but
they're
exactly
part
of
chaos,
but
we
figure
we
want
it
to
be
more
comprehensive
around
anywhere
that
we're
collecting
data.
We
want
to
be
explicit
about
what
we're
doing
with
it.
E
B
So
this
has
been,
this
has
been
approved
by
steve
winslow.
He
made
some
edits,
and
so
he
added
a
paragraph
too.
B
Good,
so
that
was
what
we
needed
all
right.
A
G
It
probably
should
be
on
the
probably
in
the
about
navigation.
G
Yeah
yeah
to
get
onto
the
website
it'll
need
a
it'll
need
to
be
turned
into
a
markdown
and
put
it
under
the
chaos
governance.
Probably
right
yeah,
I
think
you
probably
go
in
the
handbook
or
the
governance,
repo
and
yeah.
Actually,
if
you
put
it
in
the
governance
repo,
I
can
just
pull
it
from
there
rather
than
having
a
having
it
in
the
website
repo.
I.
A
I
A
And
so
the
next
item
is
google
summer
of
code
and
gear
was
kind
of
known
to
send
an
email
out
this
morning,
reminding
us
that
the
end
of
project
mentor
reviews
are
due
by
this
friday
august
friday.
Yesterday,
I'm
sorry
yeah
it's
friday
august,
whatever
27th
27th.
Okay,
thank
you,
the
project.
I
think
it's
the
30th.
Actually
it's
monday,
that's
well,
let's
say
the
friday,
the
27th,
let's
say
the
27th
yeah.
I
think
it's
actually
a
little
yeah.
I
think
it's
actually
the
30th
monday,
but
the
projects
were
due
on
monday.
A
D
A
A
Anything
else
of
any
other
comments
folks
want
to
make
regarding
the
google
summary
of
code
yeah.
Okay,
it
was
great,
I
know
I'm
encouraging.
I've
got
a
couple
of
the
at
least
two
out
of
three
that
worked
out
agar,
who
want
to
continue
contributing,
which
is
pretty
exciting,
and
I
think
you
know
making
that
that
sort
of
welcome
statement
to
to
gsoc
students
and
inviting
them
to
continue
to
make
contributions
is
is
helpful.
I
think
in
my
experience
they
don't
always
do
that
unless
they're
invited,
but
when
they're
invited
they
do
so.
B
Project
your
work
has
been
incredible
and
then
you
know,
I
think,
there's
still
more
to
do
as
always,
but
so
you
are
of
course,
extremely
welcome.
J
This
is
lucas
sorry
to
interrupt.
I
want
to
inject
a
point
that
may
seem
a
little
abstract
and
that
is
that
a
better
acknowledgement
of
participants
might
encourage
more
summer
of
code
folks
in
the
future.
So
probably
some
of
code
participants
would
love
having
their
photo
on
the
site
somewhere.
B
We
do
have
a
list
that
lists
the
participants.
Let
me
see
if
I
can
get
that
in
the
lead
interesting.
I.
H
J
Okay,
so
I
was
hunting
around
for
it
and-
and
I
so
I
kind
of
went
here
with
with
maracao
and
sort
of
studied,
acknowledgments
and
open
source
projects
for
doing
acknowledgments.
I
thought
that
for
how
well
chaos
does
so
many
things
that
this
is
something
that
could
be
more
evolved.
B
B
No,
I
do
too.
I
totally
do
I'm
wondering
like
how
I
mean
I'm
wondering
if
you
know
the
kevin
I'm
thinking
of
the
the
web
page
the
like
goodies
page.
You
know
I'm
talking
about
where
we
have
like
the
sweatshirts
for
a
hundred
dollars
and
the
coolers
for
a
hundred
dollars
and
all
that
kind
of
stuff,
yeah
yeah,
I'm
wondering
if,
like
we
could,
you
know
now
and
into
the
future
like
give
google
summer
of
code
graduates
that
that
gift
card,
so
that
they
could
get
something.
C
G
I
suppose
we
could
actually.
We
could
add
that
to
the
list
of
things
to
to
talk
about
here,
if
you
want
me
to
move
forward
with
creating
that
swag
store
yeah,
so
I
have
not
done
anything
with
it
since
the
last
update,
if
you'd
like
me
to
move
forward
with
that,
I
would-
and
I
know
that
matt
has
actually
matt
cantu-
has
has
offered
to
help
with
that
as
well,
so
we
could
get
together
and
put
that
swag
store
together
pretty
fast.
B
A
Yeah,
I
agree
100.
Those
are
really
important
ideas.
I
think
if
I
think
we
do
also
georg,
has
done
a
really
good
job
seeking
out
and
having
podcasts
with
many
of
the
google
summer
of
code
students
over
the
years
and
then
I
think,
that's
another
form
of
recognition
for
the
work
that
that
they've
done.
That,
maybe
I
mean
it
gets
featured
for
anyone
who
is
listening
to
our
podcast
on
a
regular
basis
and
it's
it's
in
my
rotation.
So
it
does
come
up.
J
A
H
G
In
regards
to
the
current
web
page
that
we
have,
I
am
not,
I
think
we
can
do
much
better,
so
I
would
I
would
certainly
I
would.
I
would
love
comments
on
how
we
can
improve
that
either
in
structure
and
in
placement.
A
B
We
do
we
do
connect
to
their
github
now.
Okay,
all
right
can
can
we
can
I
interject
here
on
something
for
the
last
point
with
chaos
con.
We
do
need
to
spend
like
20
minutes,
yeah.
A
A
Sonny,
let's
say
any
updates
on
kscon
for
the
whole
group
or
the
whole
community
before
we
jump
into
that
separate.
B
B
F
L
No,
I
I
think
our
goal
is
to
notify
people.
I
mean
sophia
remind
me
on
the
timeline
by
the
end
of
the
week
right
on
the
decision.
Yes,
there's
a
few
men,
I
met
last
week
to
look
at
number
of
time,
slots,
etc,
etc,
and
then,
where
the
potential
cut-off
line
might
be
based
on
scores,
but
sophia
