I
would
also
like
to
welcome
all
of
our
grandparents
parents,
siblings,
family
members,
friends,
teachers
and
distinguished
guests
that
are
joining
us
for
this
ceremony
this
evening.
It's
my
honor
to
welcome
you
on
behalf
of
the
arby
stall,
high
school
faculty
and
staff
and
students
to
the
2021-2022
arby
stall
high
school
commencement.
C
There
are
many
individuals
who
are
critical
to
the
success
of
our
school,
but
none
more
than
our
interim
charleston
county
superintendent
of
schools.
Mr
don
kennedy,
thank
you
for
your
consistent
leadership
and
continued
drive
to
see
a
world-class
education
delivered
to
every
student
across
charleston
county.
C
C
I
would
also
like
to
thank
the
entire
charleston
county
school
board
for
their
dedication
to
all
the
students
of
charleston
county
and
to
our
district
4
constituent
school
board
members
who
work
numerous
hours
for
our
students.
We
appreciate
all
their
leadership
and
dedicated
service
that
you
guys
provide
to
our
students
and
our
community
in
attendance.
Today
we
have
ccsd
board
chairperson
reverend
dr
eric
mack
and
board
member,
dr
kristen
french,
and
from
our
constituent
four
board.
We
have
chairperson,
miss
carly
gadson.
C
C
I
would
also
want
to
take
a
moment
to
introduce
our
school
leadership
team,
our
assistant
principals,
our
miss
brittany
cummings,
mr
mr
ernest
houston,
dr
carrell
lenhart,
miss
claudia
newbern,
mr
john
o'connell,
and
miss
virginia
sayer.
Thank
you
all
for
the
dedication
you
show
to
our
school
and
the
role
you
play
in
seeing
our
students
succeed.
Arby
stall
high
school
is
extremely
lucky
to
have
school
leaders
as
passionate
and
dedicated
as
that
team
at
arby's
stall
high
school,
our
faculty
and
staff
is
one
of
our
greatest
strengths.
C
C
I
want
to
take
a
moment
for
our
graduates,
as
well
as
our
families,
to
show
their
appreciation
to
the
members
of
the
arby's
style,
high
school
faculty
and
staff
as
the
backbone
of
our
school
and
the
driving
force
of
success.
For
so
many
of
our
graduates
and
they're
seated
right
behind
our
graduates,
we
can
show
them
appreciation
for
all
their
work
and
effort.
C
I'm
going
to
take
a
moment
to
recognize
two
of
our
special
faculty
members
today.
At
this
time
I
want
to
recognize
miss
rose
castillo.
She
is
arby
stahl
high
school's
2022
rookie
teacher
of
the
year,
ms
castillo
joined
our
faculty
as
a
teacher
assistant
before
earning
her
teaching
credentials
and
serving
as
an
esol
teacher
at
stahl,
high
school
she's,
passionate
to
see
all
learners
excel
and
reach
their
full
full
potential,
and
it's
that
passion
that
has
earned
her
the
distinction
of
being
our
2022
rookie
teacher
of
the
year.
C
mr
grant
coached
football
track,
basketball
and
soccer
over
his
years
at
stahl.
High
school,
mr
grant
is
also
a
teacher
in
our
fine
arts
department
at
stahl.
We
value
academic
excellence,
but
we
also
strive
to
promote
that
within
a
supportive
nurturing
environment
where
every
student
is
treated
as
an
individual
cared
for
and
respected.
C
C
C
C
C
C
Your
junior
year
was
a
year
like
no
one's
ever
faced
in
education,
and
then
you
returned
for
your
senior
year
and
displayed
determination
to
succeed
despite
everything
and
relentlessly
pursued
your
dreams,
it's
much
more
than
just
the
challenges
faced
by
a
global
pandemic,
but
all
the
personal
challenges
that
life
has
thrown
at
you
as
well
and
as
you
move
forward,
ready
to
begin
your
career
enroll
in
college,
to
pursue
your
degree
or
enlist
in
the
military
to
serve
your
country.
We're
excited
to
see
what
your
future
holds.
C
Knowing
that,
whatever
you
may
face,
the
class
of
2022
will
persevere,
so
we
hope,
as
your
teachers,
your
parents,
your
friends,
your
family,
that
you'll
take
both
the
knowledge
that
you've
gained
and
the
attributes
you've
developed
to
do
amazing
things
in
this
world.
So
dream
work
hard
believe
in
yourselves
and
be
warrior
strong,
congratulations.
Class
of
2022.
D
Good
afternoon
and
congratulations
rb
stahl,
I'm
so
proud
of
you.
The
salutatorian
designation
distinguishes
the
individual
who
has
maintained
the
second
highest
overall
grade
point
average
over
a
four-year
high
school
career.
Our
2022
salutatorian's
accomplishments
include
a
member
of
the
varsity
soccer
and
volleyball
teams.
D
E
This
class
came
back
stronger
than
any
other
class.
We
have
rising
entrepreneurs
and
military
committed
people
for
the
marines
air
force
army.
National
guard
and
more.
This
class
has
had
the
biggest
comeback
ever
amid
these
ambitious
and
amazing
students,
there
are
two
pilots
me
and
giselle
hernandez
gutierrez.
E
E
I
had
no
expectations
for
myself,
but
to
get
a
solo,
and
if
you
don't
know
what
that
is,
it's
flying
a
plane
all
by
yourself
before
I
get
into
depth.
With
that
experience,
I
wouldn't
have
gotten
that
opportunity
without
stahls
af
jrotc
program,
and
I
would
especially
like
to
thank
colonel
ford
for
investing
his
time
into
me
and
guiding
me
for
the
past
four
years
of
my
high
school
career,
afgrtc
built
my
career
in
many
ways.
E
E
E
I
joined
organizations
from
afgrtc
national
honor
society
and
beta
club,
which
gave
me
the
opportunities
to
express
myself
and
conquer
more
than
what
I
expected
of
myself,
just
like
af
jrotc
beta
club
and
national
honor.
Society
gave
me
a
sense
of
purpose,
especially
when
it
came
to
community
service
and
setting
an
example
for
others
to
follow.
These
organizations
also
help
me
discover
what
I
am
capable
of
during
the
aim
high
flight
academy,
a
u.s
air
force
sponsored
program.
E
My
first
week
I
was
paired
with
my
flight
instructor
john
durst.
He
was
a
strong-willed
man
and
in
the
plane
we
flew
a
cessna
172
skyhawk
under
the
tag
november
1214
I
was
determined
like
I
said
before.
I
took
a
risk
with
this
program
because
I
had
no
other
expectation,
but
a
solo
taking
risk
is
not
such
a
horrible
idea.
E
My
flight
instructor
made
me
feel
like
he
doubted
me
the
most
in
reality,
I
doubted
myself
the
most
because
I
told
myself
I
couldn't
do
it.
On
the
day
of
my
solo
evaluation,
I
was
sweaty
and
nervous
john
durst
reassured
me
when
he
got
off
the
plane
by
saying
you'll
make
a
fine
pilot
one
day.
As
long
as
you
keep
being
the
same
student,
you
already
are
studying
diligently.
E
E
Now
I
would
like
to
start
thinking.
People
who've
impacted
my
life
as
a
whole.
Given
me
advice
and
helped
me
throughout
my
high
school
and
my
goals,
I
would
like
to
recognize
miss
mary
johnson,
my
guidance
counselor,
miss
williams
for
communities
in
school
and
especially
mr
huber
for
college
access,
as
they
gave
me
a
starting
point
for
not
only
college
but
my
career
plans
as
well.
E
These
people
supported
me
and
advised
me
with
my
plans,
even
if
my
plans
changed
every
once
in
a
while.
I
would
also
like
to
recognize
the
faculty
as
a
whole.
Some
do
hold
a
special
place
in
my
heart,
miss
smith.
Thank
you
for
teaching
me
english
throughout
high
school
and
reassuring
me
of
my
work,
mr
solsky.
Thank
you
for
reassuring
me
of
my
skills
in
social
studies.
E
Even
if
I
struggled
the
most
out
of
everybody,
mr
huber
again,
thank
you
for
teaching
ap
government
because
I
ended
up
liking
the
class
more
than
I
thought
miss
russell.
Thank
you
for
teaching
ap
literature,
because,
although
I
struggled
at
times,
I
realized
that
the
work
you
gave
just
prepared
me
for
what's
to
come
in
college,
colonel
ford.
E
Mr
coleman,
thank
you
for
teaching
me
psychology
and
sociology,
because
now
I
can
read
people's
behaviors,
giving
me
a
better
perspective
on
people.
Miss
whitney.
Thank
you
for
being
this
year's
senior
advisor
as
she
planned
out
everything
for
the
seniors
to
the
best
of
her
ability
and
what
she
could
work
with
this
year
was
memorable.
E
E
We
still
did
it
anyways,
because,
mr
g,
you
taught
well-
and
I
hope
you
continue
to
be-
who
you
are
from
middle
from
middle
school
to
high
school,
the
teachers
that
I
had
made
a
huge
impact
on
me,
and
I
thank
you
for
that
now.
I
would
like
to
start
thanking
my
friends
and
family
as
well,
starting
with
a
group
that
stuck
together
throughout
high
school.
E
Giselle
made
me
adventurous
and
sometimes
dangerous.
Nicole
gave
me
advice
and,
as
my
best
friend
she
stuck
beside
me
when
I
felt
like
I
had
no
one
else
to
help
me
and
addis
was
my
academic
motivator.
She
pushed
me
to
study
and
even
though
I
wasn't
the
best
at
multiple
choice,
question
tests.
She
helped
me.

we
recognize
outstanding
seniors
by
selecting
them
for

Make
nominations
based
on
the
following
criteria:
be
a
full-time
senior,
have
no
disciplinary
infractions,
have
demonstrated
exceptional
leadership,
character
and
service
to
the
school,
exemplify
stature
and
integrity
beyond
reproach,
and
far
above
those
of
others
within
their
senior
class
and
be
held
in
high
regard
by

C
We
have
two
recipients
this
year.
These
students
have
certainly
demonstrated
all
those
listed
characteristics
to
an
extremely
high
degree,
they're
leaders
in
every
way,
and
have
been
consistently
doing
it
well
year
after
year.
Their
academic
successes
are
clear,
but
they
are
equally
gifted
in
the
service
and
leadership
around
them
with
as
excellent
individuals.

I
am
very
honored

as
I
am

I
know
many
of
us
struggled
the
last
four

have
been
tying
for
many
of
us.
We
all
expected
our

be
wonderful,

hung
around
challenging
all
of
it

This
graduation
ceremony
is
intended
to
recognize
in
a
formal
way
that
these
young
people
have
reached
a
milestone
educationally
and
now
are
ready
to
commence
with
the
next
phase
of
their
lives
throughout
the
ceremony.
Please
respect
each
graduate
and
their
families
by
refraining
for
excessive
yelling
or
otherwise
disrupting
the
program
you
can
cheer
for
your
graduates,
but
just
remember
the
graduate
behind
them.
So
please
just
keep
that
from
being
excessive.
