it's
really
good
track
record
and
it's
going
to
be
a
lot
of
fun
had
once
again
so
today
we
are
going
to
talk
to
you
about
the
fair.
What
you
can
expect,
what
kinds
of
things
to
do
all
the
fun
stuff
before
we
get
started,
let's
go
around
and
introduce
my
guest
I'm
very
glad
to
welcome
Brenda
white
Vaughn,
who
is
the
general
manager
of
the
county,
fair

the

very

this
is
a
very
busy
time
for
you,
so
that
you
took
some
time
out
of
your
very
busy
schedule.
Getting
ready
for
the
fair
is
much
appreciated
before
we
get
into
the
ins
and
outs
of
this
year's
fair
and
kind
of
what
you
guys
have
planned
for
folks
over
the
course
of
the
run.

Years
sure
well
in
2010,
I
became
a
board
member
for
the
Chesterfield
County
Fair
and
I
became
the
pageant
director.
We
have
two
pageants
that
this
time.
At
that
time
we
only
had
the
queen
pageant
and
then
in
2014
I
became
the
general
manager
I've
always
liked
to
get
involved
with
planning
events
right.

say
yeah
and
I
think
that's
a
really
cool,
I
I.
You
know
way
to
kind
of
phrase
frame
it
and
phrase
it
because
when
you
think
about
sort
of
the
opportunities
of
things
to
do
right,
the
great
things
about
fairs
and
I
grew
up
as
a
kid
from
Emporia
who
you
know
whenever
we
had
a
peanut
festival
or
whatever,
and
there
was
some
sort
of
thing,
some
Midway,
you
know
the
games
and
the
rides
and
such
I
mean
I.

Someday
especially
somebody
who's
managing
some
an
Enterprise
like
this
I
can't
imagine,
but
you
know
it's
it's
a
it's
a
very
special
event,
obviously
for
the
community
and
one
that's
been
going
on
here
for
a
long
long
time
and
I'm
just
curious.
Tell
me
a
little
bit
about
sort
of
the
way
the
fair
has
grown
and
and
sort
of
changed,
and
especially
in
the
recent
years.
Well,.

Originally,
you
came
to
the
fair
by
horse
and
buggy.
Oh
nice
and
people
came
mainly
to
sell
their
Wares,
their
fruits
and
vegetables
and
things
like
that
and
it
it
was
where
the
courthouse
is
and
I
remember,
reading
that
the
prisoners
would
actually
holler
out
the
windows,
people
you
know
and
kind
of
make
them
nervous
at
times,
but.

And
bowls
and
such
and
they
will
be
for
sale
if
you
choose
to
buy
them,
I've
seen
his
work.
He
is
awesome,
and
also
we
have
we
had
this
group
years
and
years
ago,
and
they
were
so
popular
I
wanted
to
bring
them
back.
They're
called
Tumbleweed
Crossing
wild
west
show,
okay,
they
build
a
wild,
West,
Town
facade
and
with
the
sheriff
and
the
bad
guys,
and
all
this
stuff
bank
robberies
and
all
this
and.

It
storms
got
it
and
then
in
before
I
let
you
go
I
kind
of
wanted.
There
were
a
couple
things

just
popped

my

because
I
was
thinking
about
it

terms
of
sort
of
the
process
of
putting
this
thing
together.
How
soon
after
the
fair
ends,
do
you
start
working
on
the
next
fair?
Is
it
like
the
next
day.

It's
funny
because
you're
talking
about
you
know
going
right
to
work
or,
basically
you
know
you're
kind
of
in
multiple
Cycles
at
once,
and
I
just
was
thinking,
as
you
were
talking
earlier,
that
you
must
sleep
for
like
a
week
after
this
thing
gets
done.
But
it
sounds
like
you
don't
have
the
opportunity
for
such.
