AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF AIKEN CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
INTERSECTION OF GREGG HIGHWAY NW AND UNIVERSITY
LANE AND TO ZONE THE SAME PLANNED RESIDENTIAL (PR)
AND APPROVE THE PROPOSED CONCEPT PLAN.
3) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Annex 4.48
Acres, Zone 33.22 Acres on Powderhouse Road as Planned Residential
(PR), and Approve a Concept Plan.
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF AIKEN CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON
POWDERHOUSE ROAD AND TO ZONE THE SAME PLANNED
RESIDENTIAL (PR) AND APROVE THE PROPOSED CONCEPT
PLAN.
4) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance Authorizing the
City of Aiken to Enter into an Agreement with Peach Properties, Inc.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF AIKEN TO
ENTER INTO A PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH
PEACH PROPERTIES, INC.
5) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Amend Section
11-2 of the City Code Regarding the Governance of the Municipal
Development Commission.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11-2 OF THE AIKEN
CITY CODE REGARDING THE GOVERNANCE OF THE CITY OF
AIKEN MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION.

NEW BUSINESS: Consideration of:
1) First Reading of an Ordinance to Annex Property at 1804 Pine Log and
Zone it Residential Single-Family (RS-15).
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1804
PINE LOG ROAD AND TO ZONE THE SAME RESIDENTIAL
SINGLE-FAMILY (RS-15).
2) First Reading of an Ordinance to Approve a Concept Plan for Property
Located at Whiskey Road and Stratford Drive.
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE CONCEPT PLAN FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF WHISKEY
ROAD AND STRATFORD DRIVE.
3) First Reading of an Ordinance to Amend the 2022-2023 Budget to
Include Plutonium Settlement Funds.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF
AIKEN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2022, AND
ENDING JUNE 30, 2023, FOR THE GENERAL FUND, ROAD
MAINTENANCE FUND, AND WATER AND SEWER FUND.
4) First Reading of an Ordinance to Enter into a Development Agreement
with Beazley Homes Company, Inc. for Water Service.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF AIKEN TO
ENTER INTO A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH BEAZLEY
HOMES COMPANY, INC.

PETITIONS AND REQUESTS:
1) Approval of a Resolution to Provide City Water and Sewer Service to
Property Located at Whiskey Road and Dominion Drive.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PROVISION OF WATER
AND SANITARY SEWER UTILITY SERVICES TO PROPERTY
LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF WHISKEY ROAD AND
DOMINION DRIVE.
2) Approval of a Resolution Establishing City Council District Boundaries.
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CITY
COUNCIL MEMBER DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
