the

Street

Fairfield
Street
Bridges.
We
appreciated

we
got
a
lot
of
good,
clear
communication
from
you

I
think
you
heard
you

different
points
of
view.

project
experience
informs

get

at
the
design
input
stage

are
communicating

the
desires
before
they

much

great

constituents

idea

popular
everywhere,
except
from
Colombia
to
Atlanta.

taken
the
concepts

one

believe
this

Everybody

you

the
single
digits
up
into
well

the
seniors.

audience

going
to
be
people
closer

age,

lab

legislature
didn't
buy
into
that
idea,

the

was
available
for
two
years.

was
in
the
Strategic
plan
that

approved
by
Council.

up

the

that

purchase

can
tear
down

or

plan

backfill

the
extension

infrastructure
isn't

expensive

as
much
new
infrastructure
required
to
extend
so
I
sit
here
in
a
lot
of
Council
meetings
and
I
see
a
lot
of
annexations
a
lot
of
extension.

this
case,
you
know
a
million
dollar
commitment
and
infrastructure
to
a
developer
who's,
not
even
in
the
city
to
facilitate
a
development.
That's
not
even
in
the
city
and
I
worry
that
when
all
the
chickens
come
home
to
roost
on
the
cost
of
infrastructure
and
all
the
associated
costs,
Public
Safety,
Paving,
Etc
traffic,
the
history
of
suburban
development
is
not
a
good
one,
and
people
are
beginning
to
recognize
it.

public

the
finances
work
in
Aiken

from
the
50s
or
60s
kids
could
crawl
in
there
and
they
cleaned
it
up.

haul
them

the
answer

people
who
were
worried
on
Hampton
Avenue
for
that
stretch
where
there's
a
little
bit
of
a
checkerboard,
is
to
help
them
work
with
the
county.

places

bad
and

nuisance
petition
can
create
a
lot
of
change,
all
it
takes
is
the
surrounding
neighbors
to
do
it.
So
that's
one
solution,

Everyone's
saying,
County

City

work
together

but
we
really
don't
see
that
that
much
you
don't
see
any
County
people
that
City
Council
meetings
don't
see
any
City
people
at
Council
meetings,

clarify

Hampton
Avenue
from
Columbia
Avenue
East
is
All
City.

it
places

the
city
that's
owned

county
called
the
old
hospital
and
it's
a
mess?

grounds
are
a
mess.

why
should
anybody
in
the
city
maintain
their
grounds
when
they
see
government
not
maintaining

grounds

not
being
cited,
for
that
is
that
has
the
county
ever
been
cited
by
code
enforcement
for
not
cleaning
up
the
mess?

that
property?
There's
barrels
out
back:
they
don't
mow
it.
