III. OLD BUSINESS: Further Consideration of:
1) Approval of Appointments and Discussion of Appointees to Various
City Boards, Commissions, and Committees, Including the Community
Development Committee.
2) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Rezone Property
at 2223 Whiskey Road from General Business ( GB) to Planned
Commercial (PC).
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING OF REAL ESTATE
LOCATED AT 2223 WHISKEY ROAD FROM GENERAL
BUSINESS ( GB) TO PLANNED COMMERCIAL ( PC).
3) Second Reading and Public Hearing of a Ordinance to Amend the FY
2022-23 Budget to Include ARPA Funds.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF
AIKEN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2022, AND
ENDING JUNE 30, 2023 FOR THE WATER AND SEWER FUND -
SEWER DISTRIBUTION DIVISION.
4) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance Approving
Development Agreement with The South Company for Union Station on
Union Street.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF AIKEN TO
ENTER INTO A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE
SOUTH COMPANY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY
LOCATED ON UNION STREET SE ( TPN 121- 30-04-010.
5) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Amend the
Zoning Ordinance Regarding Mobile Food Venders.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO
ALLOW MOBILE FOOD VENDING WITHIN A PLANNED
INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT.

IV. NEW BUSINESS: Consideration of:
1) First Reading of an Ordinance to Rezone Two Parcels on Park Avenue
and Beaufort Street from Light Industrial (LI) to Residential Multifamily
Low Density ( RMI).
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING OF REAL ESTATE
OWNED BY WILLIAM DALZELL FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (LI)
TO RESIDENTIAL MULTIFAMILY LOW- DENSITY ( RML).
2) First Reading of an Ordinance to Annex Property at 3514 Augustus
Road and Zone it Residential Single- Family ( RS- 15).
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3514
AUGUSTUS ROAD NW AND TO ZONE THE SAME RESIDENTIAL
SINGLE- FAMILY ( RS- 15).
3) First Reading of an Ordinance to Amend the City Budget for Fiscal Year
2022- 2023.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF
AIKEN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2022 AND
ENDING JUNE 30, 2023.

1) Approval of a Resolution to Provide Water Service to Property at 1410
Hampton Avenue.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PROVISION OF WATER
UTILITY SERVICES TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1410
HAMPTON AVENUE NW.
2) Approval to Reallocate Capital Projects Sales Tax IV Funds.
3) Approval of Acceptance of Grant Award from SC Department on Aging
for Renovations at Smith-Hazel Recreation Center.
