sister

sort

responded,

project.

our
project
manager.

engineer
for
McCormick
Taylor.
That

put
this
project
together,

I'm
going
to
turn
the
podium
over
to
them.
For
a
brief
presentation.
I
do
want
to
note.
After
speaking
with
George,
we
will
look
to
maybe
move
this
dedication
back
just
with
the
weather,
putting
the
rubberized
walking
surface
down.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
is
down.

we're
going

postpone

are
nearing
the
completion
of
the
project
we
started
in
August
and
now
some
14
15
months
later
we
are,
we
are
close
to
finishing
the
entire
project,
so
the
question
I
want
to
answer
that
I
get
asked
the
most
is
how
many
trucks
loads
did
we
get
when
we
delivered
all
the
vaults.
There
was
845
truckloads
with
a
total
of
100
1
290
pieces,
and
we
really
didn't
hear
of
a
lot
of
problems,
delivering
these
trucks
and
through
the
city.

So
that
was
good
news
on
our
part,
because
that
was
something
Jason
and
I
worried
about
quite
a
bit
when
we
started
the
project,
the
optic
control
system
is
installed
and
operational,
we're
looking
at
the
forecasts
of
of
the
rain
and
the
volume
projections
and
things
that
are
going
into
the
vaults.
At
this
point
we
had
not
diverted
the
water
into
the
vaults.

We
received
some
water
just
from
the
the
connections,
but
we
have
have
we're
going
to
be
putting
those
in
probably
by
the
end
of
this
week
or
the
beginning
of
next
week.
The
sidewalk
song
Lawrence
streets
have
been
installed
was
one
of
the
things
that
Council
had
requested
and
I'm
happy
to
say
that
those
are
in
place,
and
here
are
some
pictures.

area
was
the
area
that
I
think
when
we
last
updated,
Council
was
in
the
process
of
being
installed.

That's
a
picture
of
that
same
pipe
system
covered
up
and
now
with
a
a
stone
covering
that
helps
with
the
mitigation
of
of
the
rain
water
that
just
comes
into
that
area.
The
black
you
see
there
is
actually
the
underlay
of
the
maintenance
road
to
help
stabilize
it,
and
in
this
picture
you
can
see
that
it's,
it
comes
from
self
boundary
all
the
way
down
to
the
discharge
point
in
the
Sand
River
and
we're
covering
it
up
there
with
with
gravel
for
truck
access.

can
also
see
that
in
this
shot
we
have
covered
that
section
with
some
of
the
pollinator
seeds
and
plantings.
So
there's
the
sidewalk
being
installed
near
the
on
Lawrence
Street
and
there's
an
aerial
of
it.
It's
not
a
very
good
shot,
but
it's
the
only
one
I
had
and
you
can
see
that
the
black
tarp
plastic
is
over
the
sidewalk
as
it's
curing
for
its
protection,
but
it's
in
place
and
we
were
able
to
do
it
with
you
know.

The
cooperation
of
the
Condo
Association
members
of
the
Hitchcock,
condos,
Condominiums
and
I
think
it's
a
nice
addition
for
the
city.
Now,
as
you
recall,
when
we
started
the
evacuation
of
the
bmp-6,
we
encountered
Kalyn
clay.
We
installed
20
Chimney
Rock
chimneys
to
allow
filtration
of
the
storm
water.
These
are
three
foot
diameter
holes
dug
and
it's
approximately
25
feet
of
Kalin
that
we
went
through
now
see
SCD
hack
when
we
were
talking
to
them
about
this.
They
determined
that
they
wanted
to
permit
these
as
injection
Wells.
These
are
storm
water,
natural.

You
know
we're
not
injecting
anything.
It's
it's
it's!
What
storm
water
is
doing
anyway,
but
the
construction
permit
was
required
and
they
also
require
that
we
install
two
monitoring
Wells,
which
will
be
installed
in
December
as
part
of
the
final
permit
process.
So
there
will
be
some
monitoring
of
the
groundwater
to
make
sure
that
the
that
there's
nothing
going
into
the
groundwater
as
a
result
of
the
storm
water,
and
we
don't
anticipate
issues
if
there
are
any
issues.

the
what
DHEC
is
indicating
is
that
we
would
have
to
come
up
with
a
methodology
to
allow
the
first
flush
of
water
of
storm
water
in
the
rain
to
bypass
the
detention,
BMP
sex
detention
area
and
then
that
would
satisfy
them.
And
basically
all
this
water
is
going
into
the
Sand
River
now
anyway.
So
this
is.
This
will
comply
with
regulations
for
the
for
the
permit
that
they'll
that
we're
in
the
process
of
obtaining-
and
there
are
the
rock
chimneys
that
we
talked
about.

extra
work

confines

the
costs
of
the
contract.
This
is
one
area
where
thale

that
matter
came
up

effective
methodologies

contain
the
costs
to
not.

not
have

incur
any
additional.

Landscaping
is
underway,
we're
working
with
Hitchcock
Woods
foundation
and
the
HW
exhibits
who
they
contracted

produce

artwork
for
the
bmp-6
area.

chaos
will
not
be
ready
until
probably
the
end
of
December
1st
of
January,
the
kiosks
physically
are,
but
the
artwork
HW
exhibits
is
still
working
on
those.

be
the
upper
40s,

need
the
50s
and
rising
to

lay
a
proper
pathway
or
a
proper
road.
So
we're
going
to
wait
for
the
weather
and
that's
slowing
us
down

finalization

plantings
they've
had

materials

incline
plane

exhibits
to
develop
the
incline,
plane,
kiosk
and
information
that
that
that
will

think
this
is
going
to
be
a
really
nice
addition
for

the
area,

I

it
will
draw
a
lot
of
interest

people

as

a
reminder
that
you

the
rendition
of
of
what
we'll
be
installing
and
that's
the
timber
frame
that
I'm
referring
to
will
be
the
May
June
time
frame.

we'll
install
everything

system

active
at
that

data
coming

was
closed
off
and
could
not
get
the
BMP

so
that
whole
entire
36
inches
over
almost
an
acre
and
three
quarter
footprint.

that's
a
lot
of
water
infiltrated
all
within
the
ground

hours
to
two
days.

Conservancy

Aitkin
streetscapes
contributed
approximately
thirty
five
thousand
dollars
towards
the
addition
of
irrigation
for
bmp6a
originally,
because
we
didn't
have
plans
for
an
incline
plane.

pollinator
Garden
was
not
going
to
be
irrigated,
but
once
we
decided
that
we're
going
to
have
the
incline
plane
and
people
would
be
kind
of
accessing
that
area,
we
thought
well,
we
need
to
have
it
guaranteed
to
be
looking
a
little
better
than
just
you
know.
Mother
nature
and
rain,
we
decided
that
we
wanted
to
add
irrigation,
so
they
they
contributed
those
funds,
in
addition
to
what
you
know,
counts
approved.

meetings

city

He

removed,

resolution

December,
31st
2023,
and
this
approval
of
this
resolution
would
reinstate
him
to
the
position
on
the
design
review
board.

understatement

the
historic
Aiken
Foundation
wasn't
happy
with
anyone
on
the
drb
who
voted
to
demolish

hotel

this
particular
case,
we
strongly
object
to
reinstating
someone
who
hasn't
been
able
to
devote
the
time
and
energy
to
the
drb.

drb
plays
a
very
critical
role
in
our
city.
I
think
we've
seen
this
last
year,
how
decisions
of
the
drb
can
really
influence
the
progress
of
our
city
and
how
everyone
feels
about
it.
The
members
need
to
be
qualified
and
trained,
and
they
need
to
be
able
to
dedicate
the
time
necessary
to
making
the
important
decisions
that
they're
going
to
be
faced
with.
So
I
would
like
you
to
seriously
consider
whether
Mr
Stewart
is
the
right
person
for
the
drb,
given
that
he
has
not
been
able
to
provide
that
level
of
commitment.

it's
a
good
precedent
to
reinstate
someone
who
has
missed
a
bunch
of
meetings
because
of
just
the
simple
reason
of
reinstating
them.

would
think
that
that
provision
in
the
ordinance
is
there
in
case
somebody's
sick

they're
out
of
town
for
six
months,
visiting
their
children
or
whatever
they
may
be
doing
and
in
good
face.
They
have
a
good
faith
absence
they
they
would
have
been
there
if
they'd
been
here.

to

accidentally

been
kicked
off
with
no
lack
of
commitment
from
the
individual

think

far

reinstate

missed
meetings

violations
of
law
on
March
1st
of
2022.

not

good
idea,

I

ask
you
think
carefully
before
you
do
this,
because
the
consequences
could
be
significant
just
in
terms
of
moving
things
forward.

hear
later
from

the
drb
needs
to
be
redone.
We
wrote
about
80
pages
of
complaints
in
a
lawsuit
and
another
six
pages
in
a
recent
letter
about
the
failures
of
the
drb.

people

administrators
